POLL: Should NFL Fans Get a Refund if Players Kneel During Anthem?

New legislation coming out of Indiana is proposing to give fans the right to a refund should they be offended if the Colts players decide to kneel during the anthem.

The man behind the new legislation is Republican Rep. Milo Smith. After attending a Colts game in September, where the players took a knee, he said the demonstration “didn’t sit right” with him.

“To me when they take a knee during the national anthem, it’s not respecting the national anthem or our country,” Smith said. “Our government isn’t perfect, but it’s still the best country in the world and I think we need to be respectful of it.”

The New Orleans Saints team is already being sued for a refund by one fan. According to Fox News, “The fan is seeking attorney’s fees and a refund for his tickets, which The New Orleans Advocate reported cost around $8,000.”
