I’ve been asking around and have not yet received an informed response. What is the business model of MeWe? How do they make the money needed to provide the service? It needs to come from some source, either selling ad space like FB does, or charging a fee for “upgrade” users, or charging for a business plan. It cannot be absolutely free. Inquiring minds want to know.

Instead of selling your personal information to anyone and everyone like Facebook, Twitter and others do, MeWe sells a monthly MEWE PREMIUM membership for $5 along with selling cloud storage, EMOJI and sticker packs to help pay for the site.It was started because the people that run it feel you should not be a commodity and all your info sold off nor do they have advertisements or inject adds in to your feed.
