The Groza Vision For Academic Success
Scott Groza has a long standing commitment to the success of students. He strives to make the learning experience something that is both fun and rewarding for both teachers and staff at his learning center. He seeks to ensure that student performance improves exponentially through very personalized programs that will enhance academic success.
Mr.Groza has more than ten years experience teaching. It is through this experience that he has been able to formulate a winning plan for student success. Through both public and private school positions, he has seen how students can be overlooked, pushed aside, and virtually become invisible in the schools they are in.

The Groza Learning Center was founded in 2002. It started as a vision from Groza and his wife to aid those students who were struggling in their academic endeavors. As a small business it was originally located in a smaller building. Neither Groza nor his wife imagined that it would take off as well as it has.
The center offers a holistic approach to learning that not only considers the requirements of local school boards for graduation, but also the individual needs of the students and their families. Groza keeps an open line of communication with students, parents, and staff to ensure that success is not just a goal, but a reality. This is probably one reason why the center continues to grow. Mr. Groza has implicated a number of techniques that he has found to be quite effective in learning success. Among these include:
• Small class sizes
• One on One teaching
• Small group experiences
• Seeing the academic strengths of every student
These simple things keep not only the agenda of the school well within the reality of everyday operations, it also ensures that the environment is somewhere children want to go and teachers look forward to teaching in.
The Groza Learning Center, located in Pacific Palisades, California, offers integrative learning experiences for all students in grades pre-K through college level. The continued success of the center is in the testimony of the successes that each of the students attain while they are at the center, and even after they proceed on to higher education.
Many of the staff have aided in attaining students through their prior experience in both the public and private school systems in California. Those families that were struggling have now joined the Groza Learning Center's family. These families have gone from frustration and defeat, to upbeat and successful.
Groza has never lost sight of the end goal. That goal is to help students that are struggling to realize academic success. This is done through a holistic approach to each student. Each student is immersed in an environment where they feel welcomed, comforted and treated as the success story that they will become.
