PROTECTING GIRLS: Florida Governor Signs Bill Banning Boys from Competing Against Girls

Once again, Governor Ron DeSantis is without question the best governor in the nation. DeSantis has made Florida into the envy of the nation. If President Trump does not run for POTUS in 2024, then Governor DeSantis is our candidate. The Left wants biological males to compete against women and girls in sports. Well, that’s not going to happen in Florida #DeSantis2024.

And so my view was throughout this whole time, we have to protect our girls, it is discriminatory to force them to compete against biological males. And so if the price of having a tournament is that I have to deny equal opportunity to hundreds of thousands of young girl and women athletes throughout Florida, I am much more willing to stand with the girls. And to hell with these events” (Daily Wire).

DeSantis Signs Bill Protecting Girls From Competing Against Biological Males On First Day Of Pride Month

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis kicked off the start of pride month by signing a bill into law that protects female athletes from having to compete against biological males.

“We believe in the state of Florida, of protecting the fairness and the integrity of women’s athletics,” DeSantis said. “And I can tell you this in Florida, you know, girls are going to play girl’s sports and boys are going play boy’s sports, that’s what we’re doing. We’re going to make sure that that’s the reality. So the bill that we’re doing today will ensure fairness for women athletes for years to come in the state of Florida. It says that athletic teams or sports that are designated for females are open to females. And we’re going to go based off biology.”

“The bill defines a student’s biological sex based on the student’s official birth certificate at the time of birth,” DeSantis continued. “And as part of the bill we’re signing today, we’re not only making sure women have opportunities for scholarships and competition at the highest level, we’re also putting in statute ways to actually vindicate the rights of any women athletes who may be discriminated against. So moving forward, any student who’s deprived of an athletic opportunity, as a result of a violation of this law will have the right to civil remedies. Any school or public post secondary institution that suffers direct or indirect harm as a result of a violation of this bill, including by a governmental entity, accrediting organization or athletic association, can also pursue civil remedies. Any student who is subject to retaliation as a result of reporting a violation of this bill can also pursue civil remedies.”

DeSantis played a video at the press conference showing biological males competing against girls in track races at the high school level and winning, which DeSantis said was “blatantly unfair.” Attending the event was Selina Soule, a track athlete from Connecticut who fell one place short of being able to qualify for finals after losing to two biological males.

DeSantis dismissed threats from the NCAA warning against laws that protect girls from having to compete against biological males in sports.

“Some of these organizations say they’re not going to hold events if you do this, just let me say very clearly, in Florida, we’re going to do what’s right, we’ll stand up to corporations, they are not going to dictate the policies in this state,” DeSantis said. “We will stand up to groups like the NCAA, who think that they should be able to dictate the policies in different states.”

TAKE ACTION: University Professor Jacqueline Battalora tells white students that they and all white Americans are racist

Fox News reports:  Kendall Qualls calls out Illinois professor lecturing children on their Whiteness.  May. 25, 2021 – 5:41 – St. Xavier Professor Jacqueline Battalora said she and other White people are inherently racist even if they ‘don’t want to be’; Qualls reacts on ‘America’s Newsroom.’

Jacqueline Battalora told students:

“I know I am racist.  I don’t want to be.  I don’t like it.  But I’m … you cannot be a product of US culture and society and not be especially as a white person.   It’ not possible so let’s get over it…”

Jacqueline Battalora’s declaration and belief that all white Americans are racist is not based on scientific modeling facts.  They are hard left, unempirical lies.

Battalora’s assertions appear to be based upon leftist politics like those of Black Lives Matter’s Marxist doctrine that is focused on destroying the nuclear family which is the bedrock of American society.

Her admission alone, taken at face value without knowing her motivation, that she holds such severe racist feelings makes her unfit to teach.

Battalora’s contention that all white Americans are racist is blatantly bigoted, repugnant to humanity and a disgrace to the Christian faith.

Jacqueline Battalora teaching her false racist beliefs to students furthers racism, delays real healing and wrongfully damages the self esteem of white students.

New National ‘Report Card’ Shows Public Schools Are Failing in One Huge Way

Students often face punishment from parents when they get a bad report card. But what happens when our school system gets one?

The latest national “report card” is out, and it shows that our schools are failing Americans when it comes to science education. These most recent data come from the 2019 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) science assessment.

Just 36 percent of 4th graders were at least “proficient” in science in 2019. Meanwhile, only 35 percent of 8th graders were proficient, and, most worryingly, just 22 percent of 12th graders tested at or above a proficient level in science. These numbers are all essentially unchanged or marginally worse than the same figures in 2015, suggesting no improvement or progress has been made on this front. [RELATED IMAGE]

These findings are more than just an embarrassment for those who run our nation’s educational systems. They serve as yet another reminder that the public education system, where roughly 90 percent of students are enrolled, isn’t working. Indeed, a perusal of the report card’s sub-data shows that while results across the board aren’t great, public school students’ test scores are significantly lower than students enrolled in Catholic private schools, for one example.

It also proves that simply pouring more taxpayer money into the public education system does not advance results.

Despite conventional wisdom, we have not actually “defunded education.” As the Reason Foundation’s Corey DeAngelis notes, “The United States currently spends over $15,000 per student each year, and inflation-adjusted K-12 education spending per student has increased by 280 percent since 1960.”

But it’s all for naught.

Economic research shows no clear correlation between public education spending and outcomes. If throwing more taxpayer money at the problem could accomplish anything, we wouldn’t have such abysmal results.

The truth is that no amount of resources can change the structural problems facing the public school system. “Pouring more money into the same broken system won’t fix the deeper problem — government monopolies have weak incentives to cater to the needs of their customers by spending money wisely,” DeAngelis explains.

When government-run schools are the only option, those schools have little incentive to improve. In contrast, school choice policies that give American families more options empower them to choose the public school, charter school, private school, or homeschooling option that best suits their needs.

And families having options fosters a competitive system that can actually deliver results. Schools that perform well will attract more students (and thus more money), while those that underdeliver will bleed students and money. Over time, this will lead to the rise and expansion of effective schools and educational options and the demise of inefficient, broken ones.

It’s no coincidence that research has consistently shown that school choice initiatives can raise test scoresincrease parent and student satisfaction, and improve graduation rates. Unless we want our nation’s school system to keep getting bad report cards, something has to change.

The Federal Government Violates Education Code.

So many bills are written and then are ignored. Did you know that every day everyone violates some law or regulation?   Even the President and legislators/representatives violate the law.  The problem is most Americans hardly know because they are busy with life. Most Representatives don’t know the law either because too often older laws are not removed and replaced by the new laws. creating an impossible to track situation. That is the problem.  If our representatives knew the law, they would tell Biden that the Federal Government has no right to meddle in education. Grants that demand schools teach curricula like Critical Race Theory (CRT), or common core are a violation of the law.  U.S. Code – Unannotated Title 20 Education § 1232a. Prohibition against Federal control of education.

Now the states are busy writing laws to eliminate this America hating, family hating, G-d hating Critical Race Theory (CRT). But are they prepared to oversee if the laws are being followed? Are they demanding oversight from their Department of Education?  Are School Boards (SB) engaged? Or are parents being placated when they go to SB meetings and ask, “Are you teaching CRT?” and get, “NO”, for an answer. By eliminating the words Critical Race Theory and using other warm fuzzy words to describe the same thing you will find CRT is there.  The method they use is called subliminal messaging.  This is a message that may be remembered even if the person was not consciously aware of the message. This along with repetition is a tool used by advertisers, you know the psychological manipulators.

Since we started textbook analysis, I have been looking for examples of subliminal messaging which guides, nudges the student into coming up with the desired conclusion (aka Outcome Based Education):  America is systemically racist.

I found a perfect example of this method used in the image which is page 23 of the Savvas (formerly Pearson) teacher’s manual.  This method is duplicated in most lessons regardless of the publisher used.  Basically it is how to use propaganda to turn students into America hating, Family hating and G-d hating activists.  This page tells you how.  You must use: Charged Language, Parallelism, Repetition and Analogy. If we followed this method and changed the outcome, we win.

How does subliminal messaging work?  Here is an example:

The Florida BEST Standards calls for the use of original source documents. Dr. King’s, “I Have a Dream Speech” is the document they choose.  This is a highly persuasive speech focused on HOPE but with the use of subliminal messaging the reader is guided and nudged to feel the emotion of segregation and  HATE.

Look at the Argument and Rhetoric on the right. The teacher is supposed to elicit this response.  Practice responses:

Students should restate King’s claim in paragraph 3, “The Negro is still not free.”  This wipes out 60 years of history and the student is guided to believe, The Negro is still not free.   America still has segregated buses, water fountains and we are still living in the 50’s. Ask the students, you will be shocked.

Charged Language: They want the student to focus on poverty and hate, not the good that came out of the civil rights movement.  So the Black families in affluent Naples, FL don’t exist and the White families should feel guilty they live there.  While the Whites living in poverty don’t count either because they are not part of the minority and besides they are white and privilege. When we bring this way of thinking into society and culture we have Americans thinking that the everything in life must be fair, for the common good, diversified, inclusive, etc.  You know, Social Justice. It doesn’t matter how hard you work, We will all get the same results.

Parallelism:  They stir emotion, to bring people together but notice only among civil rights activists and people of color. To show HOPE they would have used “stirs emotion of all Americans”.  They must keep the divide going.

Repetition:  Stirring emotion not logic works like this:  The communist environmentalists have convinced the people that fossil fuels are destroying the planet . (LIE) But they never say fossil fuels are needed to produce electricity.

Analogy:  A comparison between 2 unlikely things to create clarity.  “America has given the Negro a bad check.” they compare to: “African Americans have been cheated out of their freedom.”  This guilt trip opens the door to reparations instead of using facts of what Americans have done since the speech to rectify the bad check.  Biden just granted reparations (Covid aid) to minority farmers while excluding the white farmers. We are going backwards.

By not mentioning the vast accomplishments of Civil Rights movement realizing most of the Dreams, students are guided into feeling guilty, full of despair and America is racist.

The lessons, books, poems photos and articles in these texts use this method of subliminal messaging to reinforce racism and hate while they have accomplished meeting the Florida BEST standards of reading source documents.

This is a lesson from the Palm Springs Elementary School, Palm Beach County (PBC) BLM movie script.  This is on PBC school page…..many parents do not know about it because it is hidden on their page.  You have to dig to find it, according to my teacher friend. This includes the BLM movie script in addition to other items.

PBC uses BrainPOP – Animated Educational Site for Kids – Science, Social Studies, English, Math, Arts & Music, Health, and Technology.  BrainPop is filled with distortions and out right lies. Our kids today have no real heroes only animated figures.

No wonder why our kids hate America.  These texts/lessons should never be used in Florida as they are contrary to everything Gov DeSantis stated.   They should never be used anywhere because they are contrary to America, G-d and family and filled with erroneous information.

Instead of using the scientific method (SM) as the method to solve problems, the communist results are outcome based.  Everything outcome is known in advance and must always be the same. The Government has the answer, trust the government.  Remember, this is the same government who now chooses its experts whether public or private by diversity not excellence.

This is the method used for students to become activists, community organizers, and HR trainers not brilliant engineers, pilots, MD’s, researchers, mechanics etc. How does this work when they grow up?

I took this from The American Medical Association (AMA), the largest national organization representing physicians and medical students in the United States, says it will set aside its long-held concept of meritocracy in favor of “racial justice” and “health equity.”

In an 86-page strategic plan released May 11, the AMA set out a three-year road map detailing how the advocacy group will use its influence to dismantle “structural and institutional racism” and advance “social and racial justice” in America’s health care system.

What are they really saying?  We don’t need doctors any more. We will just hook the patient to some device and monitor everything. The Dr. will just get in the way. Yeah, government controlled medicine.

How about HUD the Department of Housing and Urban Development:  Biden reinstituted Obama’s (AFFH) which rezones areas eliminating single family housing.  Everyone must have the same size flat (apartment). Agenda 21 calls for 350 sq ft for a single person and 700 ft for a family of 4.   If you want the government grant, your municipality must rezone and build packem stackem apartments or tiny houses.  What will that do to the value of your home?  What happens when the government decides your home is too large and you have room for more families? What happens when the government demands you house illegals in your 1800 sq ft house? After all they are the victim, you are the oppressor. Your children are being taught in the name of fairness, they must do more for less otherwise they are racist.  Will your children rat on you?

When feeling trumps facts and skills, mediocrity reigns. Where do America’s leaders come from if they are guided by feeling and emotions focused on hating America?  What happens in the military? Do we now leave the white injured soldier on the field to be captured? Does a Muslim doctor now say I won’t treat you because you are a Jew?

Is America Worth Saving?

It is not enough to pass a BILL without oversight from the people.  Freedom requires work.

VIDEO: Get Your Critical Race Claws Off My Kid!

Make no mistake. Our Republic is being systematically dismantled at a breakneck pace. Nowhere is that process proceeding faster than in our schools and colleges, where students at all levels are being brainwashed with a failed ideology—Marxism—that has an unbroken trail of ushering in widespread poverty and oppression wherever it has been tried. Many of America’s K-12 schools have become little more than socialist lecture halls which have turned millions of impressionable young children against their country. The anti-capitalist radicals who have infiltrated—and now dominate—virtually the entire U.S. education system are on a hell-bent mission to surreptitiously turn America communist one little Marxist at a time.

The primary means of pursuing that treasonous goal is by indoctrinating students with  Critical Race Theory (CRT)a wolf in sheep’s clothing political construct that teaches American children of all races to hate their country, and white children to feel ashamed of something over which they have no control—the color of their skin. If this cancer is not aggressively rolled back, and soon, the greatest nation the world has ever known is doomed.

Fortunately, parents are awakening. The counterattack against CRT has been joined by Fight For Schools, a group formed by parents in Virginia whose children attend Loudoun Country Public Schools (LCPS). For daring to oppose CRT, Fight For Schools parents are being subjected to a vicious smear campaign:

Despite the intimidation, Fight For Schools parents are not backing down. Elsewhere, a Southlake, Texas parents group overwhelmingly defeated a proposal by progressive indoctrinators to inject CRT into classroom curriculum. And in Springfield, Virginia, the pastor of a Catholic church devoted the second page of the May 9 parish bulletin to the mortal threat CRT indoctrination poses to the American way of life.

Not for our sake, but for our children and grandchildren and generations yet to come, all of whom will live out the rest of their years under the boot of communist tyranny if we choose to sit on our hands.

The time to act is short

If our schools—and our country—are to be saved, parents and other concerned citizens must come out of the woodwork and push back hard against the unvarnished anti-Americanism that permeates tens of thousands of K-12 classrooms. If freedom is to be preserved for their children, parents must convey an unambiguous message to school officials:

  • We do not send our child to school to have values taught at home supplanted by those of activist teachers and administrators who have contempt for this great country.
  • We object in the strongest terms to our child being brainwashed with CRT, white privilege, Project 1619, Black Lives Matter, transgenderism, wokeness and other victim vs. oppressor political propaganda.
  • We are concerned that indoctrination in such topics may cause lasting psychological damage to our child, and to the extent these themes are being pushed in our child’s classroom, we demand that such brainwashing be ended.
  • We will not tolerate our child being made to feel ostracized or unworthy due to an inherent trait—skin color—over which no person has control.
  • Our child will report to us what goes on in the classroom, and if retaliation is ever taken against our child, we will pursue damages to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Demands to school officials must be forcefully presented. Democrat-controlled school boards will not be influenced in the least by a beat-around-the-bush approach. To see the kind of passion that must be brought to bear, watch this video of a courageous black mother delivering a blistering critique of CRT before the May 12 school board meeting in Loudoun County, Virginia.

Parents must become grassroots education activists by banding together with other like-minded parents to (1) recruit new members, (2) show up en masse at school board meetings and PTA functions, (3) conduct petition signing drives, (4) register new voters, and (5) hold protests on school property when students are arriving or departing.

To project an eye-catching identity, local parent groups can use signage, bumper stickers, ball caps and t-shirts with slogans similar to the ones shown below.

Parents must be willing to FIGHT

Many parents are reluctant to complain about classroom indoctrination out of fear that doing so may adversely affect their child’s grades. CRT brainwashing occurs in schools because it is tolerated by parents who are afraid to speak out. If school boards are to be swayed, concerned parents cannot come across like trembling Chihuahuas. They must draw a line in the sand by deciding which is more important to their child’s future: a possible lower grade, or their child living the rest of his or her life under the harsh dictates of socialist-cum-communist rule. Progressive “educators” must be put on notice that retaliation against children will not go unanswered.

Time is running out to save our Republic

It may be too late to reverse the grievous harm critical race teachings have done to our society. But a grassroots movement for the ages targeting this insidious ideology could ignite a national uprising in the nick of time. For such an uprising to succeed, it must be immediate and massive. All hands on deck.

Biden Withdraws After THOUSANDS of Notre Dame Students Sign Petition UNINVITING BIDEN

President Joe Biden did not speak at the University of Notre Dame’s 2021 commencement Sunday, although he was originally invited to the event.

A White House spokesperson told the Catholic News Agency that the president could not attend due to a scheduling conflict, after 4,300 members of the college community signing a petition asking the university president not to invite him.

The letter addressed to the Rev. John I. Jenkins, the university president, draws attention to Biden’s “pro-abortion and anti-religious liberty agenda.”

“He rejects Church teachings on abortion, marriage, sex and gender and is hostile to religious liberty,” the letter reads. “He embraces the most pro-abortion and anti-religious liberty public policy program in history. The case against honoring him is immeasurably stronger than it was against honoring President Obama, an action that alienated countless Catholics and brought upon Notre Dame the harsh

Evangelist Franklin Graham, the president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) and Samaritan’s Purse tweeted he was grateful that so many would “stand up for truth and life.”

Shortly after taking office, the Biden administration began to undo a Trump-era ban on clinics referring women for abortions, a policy directive that prevented Planned Parenthood, the nation’s leading abortion provider, from receiving one type of federal funding.

Biden also allowed university researchers and government scientists to use human fetal tissue for medical research – another Trump-era policy that had banned the use of tissue from elective abortions.

And the Biden administration recently filed an appeal in an effort to force physicians and hospitals to perform potentially harmful gender transition surgeries on patients – including children – even if they have religious objections.

As CBN News previously reported, some of Biden’s decisions on abortion, sex, gender, and marriage are creating quite the divide among his fellow Catholic faithful.

His critics say the President is “cloaking himself in Catholicism” by talking about his faith, while not following Church teachings. Many question whether he’s going against long-held tenets of the faith in favor of a more progressive approach.

VIDEO: Students Taught that ‘Make America Great Again’ Is ‘Covert White Supremacy’

You need to be concerned about our public schools. Maryland shows us why. We received 685 pages of heavily redacted records from Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), including documents related to their “Anti-racist system audit” and critical race theory classes.

The documents, obtained under the Maryland Public Information Act, reveal that students of “Maryland’s Largest School District” who attended Thomas Pyle Middle School’s social justice class were taught that the phrase “Make America Great Again” was an example of “covert white supremacy.” The phrase is ranked on a pyramid just below, “lynching,” “hate crimes,” “the N-word” and “racial slurs.” They were also taught that “white privilege” means being favored by school authorities and having a positive relationship with the police.

Additionally, the documents show that Montgomery County Public Schools allocated over $454,000 for an “Anti-racist system audit” by The Mid-Atlantic Equity Consortium, a company that claims that their “expertise in using intersectionality as part of its theory of change makes us uniquely positioned to conduct the Anti-Racist Audit and mitigate the root causes of systemic barriers.”

In Thomas Pyle Middle School’s “social justice” class course curriculum, there is a slide titled “What is systemic racism?” in which students are shown a pyramid slide depicting “Differences between overt and covert hateful white supremacy.” According to the pyramid, “Make America Great Again” is an example of “covert white supremacy.” The phrase is ranked on a pyramid just below “racial slurs.”

Examples of other “white supremacy” include thinking “but we’re just one human family,” “colorblindness,” “cultural appropriation,” “celebration of Columbus Day,” “police murdering POC [people of color],” and “bootstrap theory.”

A separate pyramid begins with the term “genocide.”

The documents include Mid-Atlantic Equity Consortium’s “anti-racist system audit” proposal, which describes intersectional theory as “people are often disadvantaged by multiple sources of oppression: their race, class, gender identity, native language, sexual orientation, religion, and other identity markers. Intersectionality recognizes that identity markers (e.g. “female” and “Black”) do not exist independently of each other, and that each informs the others, often creating a complex merging of oppression.”

Records regarding Montgomery County Public School’s Thomas Pyle Middle School’s social justice class include a cover letter, noting that the class in question was a one-week “Summer Boost” class called “Reading and Taking Action for Social Justice” offered from July 13-17, 2020, and that “no grades were given and no actual work due.” The class material includes a push for students to fill out a form letter with contact information addressed to federal, state and county education officials asking for more critical race theory classes in schools.

In a slide titled “What is Intersectionality?” the students are told it is defined as:

Exposing [one’s] multiple identities can help clarify the ways in which a person can simultaneously experience privilege and oppression….

Per [critical race theory scholar] Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw, ‘Intersectionality is simply a prism to see the Interactive effects of various forms of discrimination and disempowerment. It looks at the way that racism, many times, interacts with patriarchy, heterosexism, classism, xenophobia – seeing that the overlapping vulnerabilities created by these systems actually create specific kinds of challenges.’

A class slide titled “Implicit Bias, Structural Racism” states:

Race is created to justify enslaving people from Africa (the economic engine of the country).

National narrative (ideology, belief system) about people of color being ‘less than’ human (and less than white) justifies mistreatment and inequality (white supremacy).

Dominant narratives about race (family, media, society) coupled with racialized structural arrangements and differential outcomes by race all prime us to believe that people of color are inferior to white people …

The students are asked: “What is White Privilege?” and are instructed that white privilege includes, among other things: having “a positive relationship with the police, generally;” “soaking in media blatantly biased toward my race;” and “living ignorant of the dire state of racism today.”

The students are suggested to view a Ted Talk interview with Patrisse Cullors, a founder of Black Lives Matter. The class is provided “definitions” created by www.racialequitytools.org. The terms that are defined include:

  • “Black Lives Matter,” which is defined as “A political movement to address systemic and state violence against African Americans.” It claims that “Black Lives Matter is an ideological and political intervention in a world where Black lives are systematically and intentionally targeted for demise.”
  • “Power,” defined among other things as: “Wealth, whiteness, citizenship, patriarchy, heterosexism, and education are a few key social mechanisms through which power operates.”
  • “Racist policies,” is defined with the statement, “There is no such thing as a nonracist or race-neutral policy.”
  • “White Privilege,” which is defined as “to the unquestioned and unearned set of advantages, entitlements, benefits and choices bestowed on people solely because they are white.” And “Structure white privilege” is described as “A system of white domination that creates and maintains belief systems that make current racial advantages and disadvantages seem normal.”
  • Under the heading “White Supremacy,” “White supremacy culture,” is defined as referring, “to the dominant, unquestioned standards of behavior and ways of functioning embodied by the vast majority of institutions in the United States.” White supremacy culture is further defined as “the glue that binds together white-controlled institutions into systems and white-controlled systems into the global white supremacy system.”
  • Other defined terms include: “Anti-black” “colonization” “racial recognition” “racialization” “structural racism” and “whiteness”

We also received records relating to Montgomery County Public School’s Greenwood Elementary School’s “Dual Pandemic” of “Covid-19/systemic racism” class presentation.

The racist, revolutionary claptrap in these documents should be nowhere near a school classroom. These documents show that extremists have access to our schools and are willing to abuse this access to children in order to advance a dangerous, divisive, and likely illegal agenda.
would signal that the public pushback against rising crime is gaining traction. Victory for any of the other candidates would signal something entirely different—that the leftward march in American cities continues.

Catholic League: Critical Race Theory Is ‘Inherently Racist’

In a statement on the Catholic League website Thursday, the organization’s President Bill Donohue warned that Critical Race Theory (CRT), which smears the United States as a deeply racist nation, is itself “an inherently racist prescription” because “it judges people on the basis of their skin color, not their individual traits.”

CRT “is a textbook example of promoting racism in the name of fighting it.” Today, “there is no shortage of educators, reporters, activists, and lawmakers who claim to oppose racism while harboring an agenda that sometimes promotes it,” Donohue states. He pointed out that there are those who have a vested interest in stoking “the perception that we are a racist nation,” a notion that is now “widespread.”

Lies about systemic racism are purveyed by dishonest groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), Donohue asserts, “a left-wing activist organization that claims to monitor such offenses.”

“SPLC has racism on the brain,” he adds, noting the group’s 2020 report that laments the fact “the majority of Americans thought that Black Lives Matter (BLM) violence in 2020 was a bigger problem than police violence against blacks.”

“Real racism and extremism, as the Catholic Church understands it, must be opposed and defeated,” Donohue concludes. “It does not help this noble cause when prominent Americans and non-profit organizations are bent on finding racism under every rock.”

Founded by the late Derrick Bell, critical race theory is an academic discipline which maintains that society is divided along racial lines into (white) oppressors and (black) victims, similar to the way Marxism frames the oppressor/victim dichotomy along class lines. Critical race theory contends that America is permanently racist to its core, and that consequently the nation’s legal structures are, by definition, racist and invalid. As Emory University professor Dorothy Brown puts it, critical race theory “seeks to highlight the ways in which the law is not neutral and objective but designed to support white supremacy and the subordination of people of color.” A logical derivative of this premise, according to critical race theory, is that the members of “oppressed” racial groups are entitled—in fact obligated—to determine for themselves which laws and traditions have merit and are worth observing. Further, critical race theory holds that because racism is so deeply ingrained in the American character, classical liberal ideals such as meritocracy, equal opportunity, and colorblind justice are essentially nothing more than empty slogans that fail to properly combat—or to even acknowledge the existence of—the immense structural inequities that pervade American society and work against black people. Thus, according to critical race theorists, racial preferences (favoring blacks) in employment and higher education are not only permissible but necessary as a means of countering the permanent bigotry of white people who, as Bell put it, seek to “achieve a measure of social stability through their unspoken pact to keep blacks on the bottom.”

An Open Letter on Critical Race Theory to Florida Gov. DeSantis and Comm’r of Education Corcoran

Thank you, Governor DeSantis and Commissioner Corcoran, for your bold and courageous leadership. Your determination to protect Florida’s children from harmful ideologies is commendable and inspiring!

Governor, we all breathed a sigh of relief when you announced that the teaching of Critical Race Theory (CRT) in Florida and similar theories are “wacko” and unacceptable in Florida. You have been very clear that embracing a traditional American education focused on reading, writing, math, and civics is the only acceptable way forward. What a seemingly wonderful thing that Florida students would once again be getting a great education. However, with FL DOE-approved materials now being adopted and purchased in addition to the US DOE order to provide CRT grants directly to Florida School Districts, how wrong we were! We all must remember that Communists NEVER stop.

Governor DeSantis, on behalf of over 110,000 active Florida Citizens Alliance supporters and many of our over 100 partner groups, we are urging you to issue a joint Executive Order immediately that:

1) Stops the adoption of ELA textbooks until the FL DOE can be 100% confident that all the textbooks and teacher editions are completely free of Critical Race Theory and its many tentacles (The solution is original sourced materials and classical literature already in the B.E.S.T. ELA Standards.)

2) Strictly prohibits any school district in Florida from accepting a direct federal grant related to Critical Race Theory or its many tentacles.

Use your Executive power as Florida’s Governor and the 10th Amendment to just say NO!

If NOT, Critical Race Theory will be a huge embarrassment to you and all of Florida; and it will be infused into our classrooms for the next 4-6 years!

To be clear on what Critical Race theory is, here are recent quotes from Hillsdale’s Imprimis:

“Critical race theory is fast becoming America’s new institutional orthodoxy… built on the intellectual framework of identity-based Marxism. There are a series of euphemisms deployed by its supporters to describe critical race theory, including “equity,” “social justice,” “diversity and inclusion,” and “culturally responsive teaching.” Critical race theorists, masters of language construction, realize that “neo-Marxism” would be a hard sell. Equity, on the other hand, sounds non-threatening and is easily confused with the American principle of equality…. It has been injected into government agencies, public school systems, teacher training programs, and corporate human resources departments in the form of diversity training programs, human resources modules, public policy frameworks, and school curricula.” [link to complete Hillsdale assessment]

As we write this letter, Florida School Districts are adopting ELA Textbooks. Florida Citizens Alliance supporters and our extended team are just beginning to assess ELA adoption processes taking place in all Florida counties. What we are finding is unacceptable. It is another effort by the large publishers to promote their progressive agenda. These ELA materials continue to reflect the principles of Common Core (i.e., Social Emotional Learning, Equity, Social Justice, Diversity, and Inclusion and worse), and these materials will be in our schools for the next 4-6 years! They completely undermine the great work done by the FL DOE to create the B.E.S.T ELA and Math Standards. However, standards without supporting content are worthless.

An honest, academic, traditional American education is the most important gift we can give our children. A moratorium must be immediately declared to stop all 67 counties from purchasing materials that embrace Critical Race Theory, 1619 Project, and BLM Marxist materials. We should be embracing original sources and truly classical content. These are public domain and available at $.10 on the dollar for mere printing. In addition, it must be clear that an activist teacher bringing supplemental materials into the classroom that undermine our principle Judeo-Christian and original Constitutional values will NOT be tolerated.

Under a different name with new adjectives and nouns, CRT is concealed, shrouded, veiled, or disguised in the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) ELA curriculum.  With the use of subtle messages and euphemisms, teachers are guided to teach Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, etc. Feelings are more important than facts.

One of the major contributors to the Houghton, Mifflin, Harcourt (HMH) texts is Dr. Tyronne C. Howard. He is an “expert” in CRT from the University of California. Why is Florida approving textbooks from California or these global publishing companies that are still wedded to Common Core?

  • See SRC Attachment 1 taken from the Kindergarten curricula from HMH approved by the FL DOE and found in Santa Rosa County ELA teachers editions of materials being adopted. By the time these children graduate, they will not be able to read, but they will be great activists who hate their families, GOD, and America.  What a horrible thing to do to a child.
  • HMH also uses the theories of their Happiness expert Podcast: The Future of Happiness and Education Feat. Tal Ben-Shahar
  • See IRC Attachment 2 found in Indian River County from materials being adopted. We must never forget the Globalists are communists with a singular objective to control the masses. The less educated, the easier to control.

FLCA has asked our supporters to check in their district to see if these textbooks and programs are part of their curriculum being adopted. The CRT case is building. Much more to come, but school districts are buying now, and once the $$ are spent, this cannot be undone.

“Leaders of Florida Citizens Alliance just finished a review of the standards to be adopted in Civics, Holocaust, and Character.  As a former teacher and Dean, I can tell you standards are meaningless. The curriculum and text are the only things that matter.  What are the students reading?  What is the teacher saying?  Why are character standards void of mention of family, God, and morality?

I have spoken with Floridians who are reviewing textbooks in their county. In some districts, the School Board is refusing to provide access to student and teacher editions. I was sent the summer curricula and reading list for Palm Beach County from a teacher. This is under a taxpayer grant system given to summer camps.  All is CRT.  See PBC attachment 3

And here are recent specifics in Broward County See BC Attachment 4:

Repeatedly, I have been told from those who have responded so far, all they get from their School Board is, “It’s on the FL DOE approved list.”  Yes, it is on the approved list.  So, I asked, ‘”How is it possible that these publishers continue to be approved in spite of the Governor’s statement condemning CRT?? Who makes these decisions? Since CRT and related theories are a national progressive agenda and national publishers were complicit in Common Core, it is more than certain that the other approved publishers have similar unacceptable content.”   Karen Schoen and fully supported by FLCA.

We will continue to find and expose multiple examples, but the most critical question to ask is, “what can be done NOW to stop this child abuse our education system is forcing on our 2.8 million public school children?”

Governor DeSantis and Commissioner Corcoran, we do not believe that you are aware of the devastating progressive content in these ELA materials that the 67 Counties are adopting.

Governor DeSantis, you are an amazing champion for liberty and an education system based on Judeo- Christian and original Constitutional values. School districts are spending real tax dollars as we speak, and these materials will be in Florida Classrooms for 4-6 years. It is imperative you both stop this immediately! Otherwise, this will be a debacle equal to or greater than the magnitude of the Common Core deception.

They Came For Our Kids and We Did Nothing…

Americans must stop drinking the Kool-Aid. Do you think that just because your governor writes an executive order, people will comply? Do you think that just because you believe in America, Family, and God, everyone else does? Do you think that just because President Reagan took down the wall, that communism would just disappear? Think again, because Communists never sleep. Most sit in their drug-filled rooms with well-funded think tanks dreaming up new words to describe the same old torture designed to steal everything from the masses under the names of fairness and utopia.

Most communists are making life-changing decisions because of diversity, not intelligence. Never forget, you know more than they do. They are one-dimensional people incapable of independent thought or action. I know nothing; I am just doing what I am told as friend reports friend and neighbor fights neighbor. In the meantime, the communist leaders sit back and stir the pot as hatred oozes through every walk of life enforced by their new army of useful idiots. Once they get rid of the police, crime will rise. People will scream government, do something, and Obama’s dream of a federal police force will arrive. They are made up of regular untrained, but diversified people told to do the right thing for the “common good” and are more lethal than any police. Why because they were trained to hate. Where were they trained? In the school system!

Applying Knowledge is Power

On April 30, I spoke at the Back to the Future conference. I found it so interesting that no matter who the speaker was, each had the same theme without prior knowledge or discussion. Knowing something and not acting is just as bad as doing nothing. “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to do nothing,” Thomas Jefferson.

Are you part of the do-nothing 80% or the do anything 20%? Going to school board meetings is the easiest place to start. What are they teaching? What methods are they using? If your district is using Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH), your students will be learning how to be an activist who hates everyone and everything and can only read and retain sound bites. They will be closer to addiction and suicide as communism teaches victimhood, hate, and how to be an activist. Look for words like diversity, inclusion, equity, service learning, action civics, multiculturalism, social-emotional learning, etc. These are the new words describing Critical Race Theory (CRT) without saying CRT.

If your district is using the Phonological Awareness method for reading, you lose. Phonological awareness is an individual’s awareness of the phonological structure, or sound structure, of words. Why kids can’t read is simple. First, remember communists want the populace dumb. Phonological awareness is not phonics. Phonological awareness is breaking the word down into sounds often without seeing the actual word. Repeating and memorizing words is NOT reading. This is word-specific and forces the child to memorize thousands of words when all they should do is memorize the sounds of 26 letters. If Freedom is not one of the words, when do they learn about freedom?

Phonics teaches the sounds of the letters. Phonics should be taught as the major component of reading, not elimination. Phonics teaches spelling and can be applied to sounding out and reading any word. Phonics makes reading easy and fun. Phonological awareness is a failed program since 1931. Why are we teaching failure to our kids?

As long as Joe Biden is in office, illegal immigration will not stop. But these “new” Americans hate communism. They know its horrors firsthand. If we take back our education system in our states, dump CRT and multiculturalism and give these “new” Americans a good dose of America, they would never vote for a Communist Democrat. We must use their system and change the outcome. Then we win!

States Banning Critical Race Theory must check to see the content of materials used and method of reading.

Texas Senate Bill 2202, currently under review in the House Public Education Committee, seeks to ban the teaching of radical ideology associated with Critical Race Theory in Texas public schools. The bill also mandates a robust academic focus on the founding documents and ideas of America.

Similar legislation passed last week in Idaho, with additional bills under consideration in West Virginia, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkansas.

Is the Tide Turning Against Critical Race Theory?

Those invested in human dignity and the stability of Western societies have no doubt followed with interest the fashion known as critical race theory (CRT). Author James Lindsay, who has studied and written prolifically on the topic, explains that according to CRT:

race is a political construction that was invented by white people to give themselves power while excluding all other races from it, and racism is the ordinary state of affairs in society, present in all interactions, institutions, and phenomena, and effectively permanent in society.

Moreover, Lindsay warns that the movement driven by this belief “is both gaining significant amounts of power on nearly all levels—social, cultural, institutional, and legal,” and that it is “wholly inimical to the legal foundations of a free, liberal society filled with citizens who are equal under and before the law”.

CRT’s genealogy can be traced from Marxist thinkers like Antonio Gramsci and Herbert Marcuse, through the postmodernist movement, and emerging more clearly in intellectual movements in American law schools in the 1980s.

More recently, New York Times bestselling books like Robin DiAngelo’s White Fragility (2018) and How to Be an Anti-Racist (2020) by Ibram X. Kendi have helped take CRT mainstream. Indeed, critical race theory was the lens through which George Floyd’s death was viewed by protesters and rioters, who took their grievances to hundreds of American cities during the summer of 2020.

Due to the divisive nature of CRT, and its tendency to (ironically) characterise white people as the main perpetrators of racism, former President Trump issued an executive order banning the teaching of CRT in all federal agencies through “race sensitivity workshops” and other such initiatives.

Many were encouraged by Trump’s executive order, viewing it as an overdue rebuke to this dangerous ideology. But on entering office, President Biden rescinded Trump’s executive order; dissolved Trump’s 1776 Commission which countered the CRT-inspired narrative that America’s history is defined by slavery; and has since made deeply divisive remarks about George Floyd’s death and race relations in the United States.

All of this has left observant Americans—and Westerners who study American cultural trends with bated breath, knowing that they generally go global—anxious about where CRT, unchecked, will take us.

However, in recent weeks, quiet victories have been won against critical race theory on the legal front. Journalist Christopher F. Rufo has been documenting—and driving—much of the legal pushback against CRT, having last year declared a “one-man war against critical race theory in the federal government”.

So far, that war is having some notable successes. Rufo, who is a contributing editor for the City Journal, last week reported that thanks to his army of families, parents, writers, lawyers, activists, and legislators:

state legislators in Idaho and Oklahoma have passed bills banning critical race theory indoctrination in public schools. The laws will prevent school districts from promoting race essentialism, collective guilt, and neo-segregation—in sum, it will stop state-sanctioned racism in the classroom.

He also shares the encouraging news that there are “bills in another half-dozen state legislatures and we hope that the largest red states will pass them in the coming months”. Rufo makes regular announcements on his Twitter feed regarding the progress of this legislation, which has included recent legal wins in Arizona, Tennessee, Utah, Arkansas and Texas.

Underscoring why these victories are so crucial, Rufo has issued his call to arms. “Right now conservatives, moderates, and anti-woke liberals must make a choice: will you stand against critical race theory or will you enable it?” He continues:

This will be the crucial battle in the years to come and we must make it clear where we stand. Conservatives must recognize that critical race theory is a threat to our foundational American principles; moderates and liberals must join us in the common cause against wokeness.

Fail to recognize this scourge, mislabel or downplay it… and you accept that America as we know her will cease to exist. She will likely do so not with a whimper, but with a bang.

The editors of the American Mind, an online magazine published by the Claremont Institute, have also issued a Statement Regarding ‘Critical Race Theory’ which is worthy of the reader’s attention. The tide does indeed appear to be turning against CRT, but it will take sustained efforts from many to see this continue.

The Biden administration is set to waste millions of dollars on “science” grants to force “racial equity” on STEM education instead of, you know, rewarding actual science.

Biden’s National Science Foundation operatives seek to “support bold, groundbreaking and potentially transformative projects addressing systemic racism in STEM” with a $30 million program, according to Just the News.

This isn’t science. This is a left-wing agenda.

“Persistent racial injustices and inequalities in the United States have led to renewed concern and interest in addressing systemic racism,” says a synopsis of the Racial Equity in STEM Education Program on the NSF website. “The National Science Foundation (NSF) Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR) seeks to support bold, groundbreaking and potentially transformative projects addressing systemic racism in STEM.”

Just the News adds:

Although the grants are funded by the federal government’s primary source of support for basic science research, the agency emphasizes that proposals are to be developed by and reflect the perspective of aggrieved groups and individuals who perceive themselves as victims of undefined “inequities” assumed in advance to be caused by “systemic racism.”

“Core to this funding opportunity is that proposals are led by, or developed and led in authentic partnership with, individuals and communities most impacted by the inequities caused by systemic racism,” specifies the agency. “The voices, knowledge, and experiences of those who have been impacted by enduring racial inequities should be at the center of these proposals, including in, for example: project leadership and research positions, conceptualization of the proposal, decision-making processes, and the interpretation and dissemination of evidence and research results.”

Teaching Kids That America Was Always Racist

If there are riots now in America, what will it be like 20 years from now if the New York Times gets its way?

The New York Times sponsored the 1619 Project, which postulates that America’s real beginnings as a nation are when the first African slaves were brought over….to Jamestown in 1619.

Many historians note that this is a distortion of our nation’s roots. Worse, it makes young people turn against this country. Despite our flawed history and their own personal sins, the founders created the framework by which evils like slavery could one day be uprooted. And it has been.

This battle over history and what is to be taught in our schools (when they reopen) has reached the highest echelons of power these days.

CNN reported (5/3/2021): “Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is asking schools to stop using the 1619 Project, a curriculum aimed at reframing US history around the date of August 1619, when the first slave ship arrived to what would become the U.S.”

McConnell and other Republican senators said, “Families did not ask for this divisive nonsense. Voters did not vote for it…Americans never decided our children should be taught that our country is inherently evil.”

In my humble opinion, Mitch is right to do this. If this curriculum continues to spread, all children will learn is a distorted view of our past.

In his classic book “1984,” George Orwell said, “Whoever controls the past controls the future.” And he added, “Whoever controls the present controls the past.”

There is indeed a battle over the history of America. Much of the rioting in the streets of the last year has constituted a war on America as founded. Statues of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt, and many others have been torn down by the mobs. Even Abraham Lincoln has not escaped the wrath of rioters.

Although some historians support the 1619 Project, many historians vehemently disagree. A few months ago, the DailyWire reported that a group of scholars demanded that the Pulitzer Board revoke the Pulitzer Prize awarded to NYT writer Nikole Hannah-Jones’ Pulitzer Prize for her introduction to the 1619 Project.

Bob Woodson, an African-American scholar who has worked for decades on behalf of urban renewal, organized a number of scholars to oppose the 1619 Project.

In an interview I did with Woodson for D. James Kennedy Ministries, he told our viewers, “We at the Woodson Center organized 23-plus scholars and activists to confront this 1619 Project. We call ourselves 1776 Unites.” These scholars include some prominent Blacks, like Dr. Carol Swain, retired professor at Vanderbilt Law School.

Already the Woodson Center has seen some changes: “As a result of our essays that we wrote…Nikole Hannah-Jones, who was the author of the 1619 Project actually revised it…We forced them to back away from, and change, the reasons for the Revolutionary War.”

Initially, the 1619 Project promoted the false idea that America’s War for Independence was held for the purpose of protecting slavery.

That is an astounding claim, in light of the Fairfax Resolves of 1774, whereby George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and other Members of the Virginia House of Burgesses tried to abolish the slave trade into Virginia. King George III put the kibosh on their efforts. (This was before MP William Wilberforce’s successful crusade, motivated by his Christian faith, to abolish the slave trade and then slavery itself throughout the British Empire.)

Woodson adds this about the 1619 Project: “They are trying to define America by its birth defect of slavery and Jim Crow, and our counter is that no individual or nation should be judged by the worst of what they used to be. America is a country of redemption. America is a country of second chances, and so we at 1776 Unites believe that America is defined by its promise. And the Constitution is a mechanism for us to be self-correcting, and America is the only nation on the face of the earth that fought a civil war to end slavery.” [Emphasis added]

The above-mentioned Dr. Carol Swain argues that the 1619 Project sends a “very crippling message to our children” by conveying the idea that racism is in our national DNA. It basically says that no matter how hard you try, you will always be a victim of hopelessly racist America.

What is this all about? Dr. Richard Land, the president of Southern Evangelical Seminary, observes, “If you want to remake America, you’ve got to tear down belief in the country we have now. You have to make the country we have now and the founding fathers and our institutions illegitimate—that’s what the 1619 Project is about.”

There is a battle over history, and it is a battle we must win if we are to continue as a free nation.

DEMOCRAT CHILD ABUSE: White House Balks At Reopening Schools

COVID presents no threat to children. There hasn’t been one case of a child giving COVID to a teacher. COVID is the club which Democrats mean to beat us down, into submission. Once the children are under their complete, insane control, the rest is child’s play.

The Democrats have already destroyed the Millennial generation, now the final blow, the death stroke, will be the Coronialls — a paranoid, panicked, generation of socialist zombies. That is the goal.

White House Now Not So Sure About Reopening Schools

From the CNN tweet: Anita Dunn, an adviser to the President, says that schools should probably reopen in September if people continue to get vaccinated, adding that it is not absolute because “it’s an unpredictable virus” (Twitter). From Mark Hemingway: Kids have been in-person at private schools all year. We know plenty about the risks. This is about teachers unions, not kids (Twitter). From Karol Markowicz: While much of grown-up America moves on, our children are trapped in the forever pandemic. She goes on to blister the dishonesty coming from many of the so-called experts (NY Post). From Tim Carney: I think the lockdowns and Trump broke millions of brains. We know solitary confinement is crazy-making. We know being too online is bad for mental health. The outdoor vaccinated masking is an insanity symptom caused by this (Twitter).
