Federal Judge Temporarily Blocks New Mexico Governor’s Gun Ban

A federal judge temporarily blocked Democratic New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s public health order banning the carrying of guns in public, according to Reuters.

U.S. District Judge for the District of New Mexico David Urias, a Biden appointee, found the order to be unconstitutional, Reuters reported. Grisham issued the 30-day public health order banning the right to open or conceal carry guns in Albuquerque and Bernalillo County on Friday.

“They just want the right to carry their guns,” Urias said in reference to the plaintiffs, according to Reuters.

Grisham’s order drew immediate backlash from both Republicans and Democrats and was swiftly followed by lawsuits and public protests. New Mexico’s Democratic Attorney General Raul Torrez refused to defend the order Tuesday on the grounds that it would not hold up in court.

“Though I recognize my statutory obligation as New Mexico’s chief legal officer to defend state officials when they are sued in their official capacity, my duty to uphold and defend constitutional rights of every citizen takes precedence,” Torrez said. “Simply put, I do not believe that the Emergency Order will have any meaningful impact on public safety but, more importantly, I do not believe it passes constitutional muster.”

Grisham told reporters after announcing the order that no constitutional right is “absolute.” “If there’s an emergency, and I’ve declared an emergency for a temporary amount of time, I can invoke additional powers,” Grisham said. “No constitutional right, in my view, including my oath, is intended to be absolute.”

U.S. Sees 1,000% Surge In Migrants From Afghanistan, Algeria, China, Djibouti and more.

Border Patrol has seen 1,000% increases in migrants coming from Afghanistan, China and other countries far from U.S. borders between fiscal year 2022 to fiscal year 2023.

The surges include migrants from Algeria, Djibouti, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Ethiopia, Mauritania, Paraguay and Vietnam, outgoing Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz wrote on Twitter Friday. It has been challenging to deport such migrants, Ortiz said.

“While we work diligently to repatriate migrants from these countries, we still have challenges with countries’ governments to get working programs in place to repatriate all those we apprehended,” Ortiz said.

In fiscal year 2021, Border Patrol recorded 342 encounters with Chinese migrants crossing U.S. borders illegally, which surged to 1,987 in fiscal year 2022. In the first seven months of fiscal year 2023, Border Patrol has already encountered 9,753 Chinese migrants.

“Right now in China there’s extreme pessimism, especially among people in their 20s about the future of their country, so it’s understandable that they’re leaving and they’re trying to get into the United States. And, you know, these are people who are relatively middle class, so it shows you the problems in Chinese society are severe,” China expert Gordon Chang previously told the Daily Caller News Foundation of the surge in Chinese migrants.

Several migrants from Afghanistan traveling to the U.S. via Guatemala previously told the Daily Caller News Foundation that they fled their homes because of the Taliban’s takeover after the withdrawal of American forces.

“My message for the government of USA, please open your doors for us and help us,” one emotional Afghan refugee told the DCNF in Guatemala. “We don’t have a country now. I don’t feel we have a country. When I am from Afghanistan, I feel like this too. I don’t have a country. We are the humans of this world. And we need the help of this world.”

Inflation Surges Above Expectations Despite Fed’s Rate Hikes

Inflation rose significantly in August, marking the second month in a row that inflation has ticked up, according to the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) release on Wednesday.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI), a broad measure of the prices of everyday goods, increased 3.7% on an annual basis in August, compared to 3.2% in July, according to the BLS. Core CPI, which excludes the volatile categories of energy and food, remained high, rising 4.3% year-over-year in August, compared to 4.7% in July.

“This will be the second acceleration in a row, showing that inflation is anything but dead,” E.J. Antoni, a research fellow at the Heritage Foundation’s Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Although we’ve been told that inflation has been trending back towards 2%, that’s false. If anything, the annualized monthly data show it was trending towards 3% and is now climbing again.”

The rise in inflation was partly driven by an increase in the price of gasoline, accounting for half of the total gain, with the energy index rising 5.6% for the month. The second largest contributor to the increase was the price of shelter, which has risen for the past 40 months in a row.

The Federal Reserve, in an attempt to lower inflation, has raised its federal funds rate to the highest point since 2001 after a series of 11 rate hikes, bringing the current rate to a range of 5.25% and 5.50%. The Fed will announce on Sept. 20 whether it will raise rates again at the conclusion of its Federal Open Market Committee meeting.

Jerome Powell, chair of the Fed, hinted in August at the Jackson Hole Economic Symposium that the Fed will raise rates if factors like high inflation, a hot labor market and sustained growth continue.

The job market has cooled in recent months, with August only adding 187,000 new nonfarm payroll jobs. The number of jobs added for June and July were both revised down to reflect further softening, adding 80,000 and 30,000 fewer than was previously reported, respectively.

GDP grew less than previously thought for the second quarter of 2023, with the economy growing 2.1% instead of the 2.4% that was originally reported.

“I expect the Fed will continue with a combination of pauses and 25-basis-point hikes for several more months, while continuing to slowly run off the balance sheet,” Antoni told the DCNF. “To put the inflation of the last two and a half years in perspective, roughly all of the household net wealth generated over that time has been confiscated by the government through the hidden tax of inflation.”

The Greatest Threat to Science is from Within

A Progressive tips his hand about how they are trying to undermine Science.

One of Lincoln’s most powerful speeches is the Lyceum Address. The key message is that we should not be so worried about overseas enemies, as corruption from within is our most serious threat…

“At what point shall we expect the approach of danger? By what means shall we fortify against it?– Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step the Ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never!--All the armies of Europe, Asia, and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Buonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years.

“At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.”

I thought of this as I read the interview of one Stanford professor of another. The title is “How To Beat Bad Science.” If that wasn’t enticing enough for me, the person being interviewed (Dr. Jonathan Osborne) was identified as a “science education expert.”

I thought wow! Since I’m a K-12 science education expert, this should be right up my alley, in my lane, fit me like a glove, etc. However, it was a major disappointment.

Interesting note: At no time in the interview does Jonathan define “Bad Science!” Reading between the lines here, the implied definition is when scientists advocate anything that goes against government technical policies (like the net negative consequences for school children to wear masks for COVID-19 — e.g., here).

Ignoring the significant deficiency of the missing key definition, Jonathan says that for students to beat “bad science” they need to learn three skills: 1) be aware of conflicts of interest, 2) evaluate the source’s qualifications, and 3) more rigorously question those who go against consensus!

Point one would evidently be to look for one of the thousands of scientists who are funded by the fossil fuel industry — even though in 40+ years I have yet to find any.

Point two might be to ignore any evidence presented by a scientist, not a specialist — e.g., “only climatologists are qualified to evaluate the claims in climate science.” (This is to deceive the public, as real Scientists know that any Scientist can legitimately comment on the adherence to scientific principles by those in any field of Science.)

To reinforce the surprising third point he goes on to say that: The whole goal of science is consensus! OMG. Here I’ve been laboring for over four decades under the assumption that the goal of Science was: to give us a better understanding of our material existence. Now I find out that The whole goal of science is consensus!

I thought that politics was the field that focused on consensus, not Science. Maybe Jonathan wants us to equate real Science with political science. I’ve written about that problematic deception before (e.g., here), as it is a plague of our times.

It also occurs to me that if the objective of scientists is to agree with other scientists, how can we possibly make any societal progress? If scientists live and work in an echo chamber, nothing substantial will ever change. What sense does that make?

Further, I was always under the impression that the great scientists in history were outstanding because they looked at things differently — which almost always was against the current consensus. Apparently Jonathan does not understand that.

As misguided as the above are due to what is said in that interview, arguably the worst parts are about what is not said. For example, there is not a word of advice for students to learn and apply the Scientific Method. It has been around in some form or other for some 4000 years — and used by people like Newton, Curie, Einstein, etc. Seems that if it was helpful for those giants of Science, it might be useful to K-12 students. But not a word in this interview is advocating the Scientific Method!

Why would Progressives hate the Scientific Method? Because almost every Progressive technical policy (e.g., industrial wind energy) that is subjected to the Scientific Method, fails. That left them two choices: a) advocate technical policies that are actually science-based, or b) get rid of the Scientific Method. They chose b.

Worse is the glaring omission of Critical Thinking. Why wouldn’t the top advice of an “expert science educator” start out with the importance of Critical Thinking? In fact, it could be argued that his first two points would be assumed subsets of a genuine Critical Thinker’s methodology.

But his third point is where the S hits the fan. Having a default position supporting consensus (i.e., conformity) is the exact opposite of Critical Thinking! In the subject area of Science, K-12 students are supposed to be taught to question everything — especially consensus!

Why are Progressives opposed to Critical Thinking? Because their worst fear is to have a citizenry of Critical Thinkers! They want compliant citizens who don’t ask questions, and who go along with whatever policies are proposed, regardless of their scientific sensibility. Think COVID-19 policies.

The more I thought about these two glaring omissions (the Scientific Method and Critical Thinking) the more it struck me that these exactly reflect the anti-Science mentality conveyed in the NGSS and its basis, the Framework, — now used by some 45 states in their K-12 education. (See my Education Report for more details.)

On a whim, I decided to check out a hunch I had, so I just looked up who were the Progressive authors of the Framework (which became the NGSS). Here they are.

This should convey a VERY clear idea of the mentality of the select Progressive clique that wrote the K-12 Science Standards — again, now used in some 45 states!

7 Lies, Distortions, or Abominations in Joe Biden’s 9/11 Speech

On the 22nd anniversary of 9/11, Joe Biden once again made history for all the wrong reasons — ignoring grieving families, lying to U.S. soldiers, and attempting to cut a plea bargain with terrorist masterminds while sending billions of dollars to the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism. Here are seven examples:

1. Location

Joe Biden became the first president not to take part in ceremonies in one of the three cities associated with the 9/11 attacks: New York City; Washington, D.C.; or Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Instead, he spoke at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, a location his remarks attempted to tie to the attacks. Add Biden — whom NBC News dubbed the “consoler-in-chief” — skipping this 9/11 memorial to his historic firsts of admitting the most illegal immigrants into the United States ever and the highest number of Americans to die of drug overdoses (problems which are correlated), and it paints the picture of a president who does not care about U.S. citizens or their losses.

His handlers blamed a scheduling conflict for Biden’s whereabouts — but who sets the president’s schedule? In any previous administration, the question would be rhetorical. Biden, or his handlers, felt it more important for the president to attend the G-20 Summit in India (or “the G7,” as Biden called it), followed by a trip to Vietnam — conveniently putting a younger, more “diverse” Democrat center stage during the event. (Biden’s disastrous performance at his Vietnam press conference may explain why.) Still, the president’s absence seemed anomalous enough that Biden felt required to explain the trip constituted “an essential part of how we’re going to assure the United States is flanked by the broadest array of partners and allies who will stand with us and deter any threat to our security.” If Biden thinks Vietnam will send troops to defend the United States, much less join a future U.S.-led nation-building exercise, he’s delusional — which may explain…

2. Joe Biden Lied about His Location on September 12, 2001

During his speech, Biden shared vividly invented memories of “Ground Zero in New York — I remember standing there the next day and looking at the building. I felt like I was looking through the gates of Hell, it looked so devastated.” In reality, video footage proves that Joe Biden attended a session of the Senate in Washington, D.C., on September 12, 2001. But self-aggrandizing fables hardly surprise coming from Joe Biden, who has embellished his past more than anyone since Walter Mitty. He also falsely “remembered” being “shot at” during a trip to Iraq (a shot landed outside his hotel) and searching for Osama bin Laden over “the superhighway of terror between Pakistan and Afghanistan where my helicopter was forced down” (due to a snowstorm), as well as being arrested in the 1980s while trying to meet future South African President Nelson Mandela (they met in 1990 in the Senate Foreign Relations executive committee room), taking part in sit-ins in the 1960s, meeting with members of the Tree of Life Synagogue after a mass shooting, and presiding over an America thriving due to Bidenomics.

3. Biden Praises the Mission to Kill Osama bin Laden — Which He Opposed

During his remarks, Biden tied himself to “heroes like the 9/11 generation … who followed Osama bin Laden to the ends of the earth and ultimately send him to the gates of Hell 12 years ago. And then last year, I made the decision to take out [Ayman al-]Zawahiri, the number two, who met the same fate.”

But Joe Biden opposed the mission that killed Osama bin Laden, as he boasted to an audience in 2012. Once again, video footage captures Biden telling a different audience a different tale:

“The president, he went around the table with all the senior people, including the Chiefs of Staff. And he said, ‘I have to make this decision. What is your opinion?’ He started with the National Security adviser, the Secretary of State, and he ended with me. Every single person in that room hedged their bet, except Leon Panetta; Leon said, ‘Go!’ Everyone else said ‘49/51,’ this …

“It got to me. He said, “Joe what do you think?” And I said, ‘Ya know, I didn’t know we have so many economists around the table. We owe the man a direct answer. Mr. President, my suggestion is don’t go. We have to do two more things to see if he’s there.’ He walked out, and he said, ‘I’ll give you my decision.’” (Emphasis added.)

Barack Obama dithered for 16 hours while the military waited for his decision. The Navy’s SEAL Team 6 succeeded in raiding bin Laden’s compound on May 2, 2011. Then-Vice President Biden blurted out that Navy SEALs killed the terrorist mastermind at a Washington dinner one day later. That August 6, a Taliban RPG blew up a Chinook helicopter in Afghanistan, killing 38 U.S. soldiers, including 17 members of SEAL Team 6. “In releasing their identity, [the Obama-Biden administration] put a target on their backs,” said the father of one of the soldiers killed that day.

4. Biden Seeks a Plea Bargain to Spare 9/11 Masterminds the Death Penalty

Just weeks before the speech, the Biden administration quietly initiated proceedings to cut a deal that would spare the death penalty for the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and four other co-conspirators currently held at Guantanamo Bay. The families of 9/11 victims expressed outrage that they learned of the impending plea deal in “a form letter.” Sparing the terrorists a trial would suppress “information that no doubt would shed light on the identity of the 9/11 conspirators — secret and hidden — not only from the 9/11 families but from the American public.” Even now, as U.S. officials have just identified two more of the victims at the Twin Towers, the Biden administration seeks to conceal the identity of its perpetrators.

5. Biden Gave $6 Billion to Iran on 9/11

As Biden rhetorically crusaded against terrorism from a military base, his administration released billions of dollars to the leading state sponsor of terrorism. Under the terms of an agreement announced last month, Biden transferred $6 billion and five imprisoned Iranian assets in exchange for five American prisoners. Biden’s Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, notified Congress he had authorized the payment on 9/11.

“We used to call funding a terror state an act of treason,” said Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.). No one denies Iran remains the global leader in terror sponsorship — including the Biden administration. “Designated as a State Sponsor of Terrorism in 1984, Iran continued its support for terrorist-related activity in 2021, including support for Hizballah, Palestinian terrorist groups in Gaza, and various terrorist and militant groups in Iraq, Syria, Bahrain, and elsewhere throughout the Middle East,” according to the most recent terrorist report from Biden’s State Department.

Iran’s terrorism barely outdates Joe Biden’s desire to send the Ayatollah U.S. taxpayers’ dollars. Biden also wanted to send Iran a check for $200 million with “no strings attached” immediately after 9/11/2001 to prove America’s goodwill. The New Republic reported in October 2001:

America needs to show the Arab world that we’re not bent on its destruction. “Seems to me this would be a good time to send, no strings attached, a check for $200 million to Iran,” Biden declares. He surveys the table with raised eyebrows, a How do ya like that? look on his face.

The Obama-Biden administration went on to give Iran $1.7 billion in 2016.

6. Biden Boasts of Protecting the Troops

During his remarks, Biden reassured the troops, “I will never hesitate to do what is necessary to defend the American people, just as I will never forget our sacred duty to those of you who serve.” Can anyone believe Joe Biden will protect Americans from another Taliban attack when his precipitous withdrawal abandoned possibly thousands of U.S. citizens to the Taliban’s tender mercies, and left soldiers so vulnerable that a suicide bomber killed 13 U.S. servicemembers? The Taliban incorporated numerous terrorists into its newly minted government — much as the Obama-Biden administration’s unconstitutional war put al-Qaeda affiliates in charge of Libya and its machinations installed a regime favorable to the Muslim Brotherhood, the fundamentalist group where Osama bin Laden met Ayman al-Zawahiri, in Egypt.

Yet the Biden administration seemed more interested in firing the Marine who criticized the collapse of Kabul, Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller, than the political advisers who engineered it.

To the extent Biden intends to keep a “sacred duty,” he certainly defines it differently than any of his predecessors: Pentagon spokesman John Kirby called funding abortion-related travel the “foundational, sacred obligation of military leaders.”

7. Praising ‘National Unity’ while Sowing Division

As the bipolar Biden administration frequently does, Biden mouthed the right words about “national unity” — fluffy phrases that belie his dedication to Balkanization, division, and enacting a racial spoils system for his supporters while demonizing, surveilling, and imprisoning his political opponents. Biden waxed nostalgic that after 9/11, “American flags sold out in every store and were placed in front of seemingly every home. … This day reminds us we must never lose that sense of national unity, so let that be the common cause of our time.” Americans must resist being “pulled apart by petty, manufactured grievances” inflamed by “the poisonous politics of difference and division.”

Such inspiring words make one wonder if the president remembers his “Dark Brandon” speech, flanked by soldiers, in which he denounced his political opponents as an existential threat to American survival in front of a black-and-red colored Constitution Hall. That speech flowed more naturally from the Biden administration, which has placed intersectionality and “equity” at “the center” of a “whole-of-government” plan to redistribute wealth and respect toward solidly Democratic-leaning voting blocs.

One need look no further than actions taken by Biden’s Department of Homeland Security last week — again, on the eve of 9/11. The DHS doled out Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention grants, which are intended “to prevent targeted violence and terrorism,” to:

  • The Sexual Minority Youth Assistance League ($530,000) to provide “in-school” indoctrination “for LGBTQ+ youth ages 6-24” in D.C.-area schools. (You can read the details here.);
  • American University’s Polarization and Extremism Research and Innovation Lab, or PERIL ($784,276), for “teaching children in grades K-5 how to recognize harmful online content.” PERIL (get it?) partners with the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, the pro-gun control Everytown for Gun Safety, and the Anti-Defamation League. To “prevent radicalization,” PERIL encourages teachers to have “classroom conversations” about “the Movement for Black Lives and protests against systemic police brutality, to the far-right insurrection at the Capitol on January 6th.” PERIL’s leader, MSNBC columnist Cynthia Miller-Idriss, also claims that young people who “are more committed to a kind of gun culture also have higher scores on racial resentment and male supremacist ideas” and worries that Americans might be “easily persuaded by false information … about why they need a gun”;
  • Boston Children’s Hospital ($820,990), which carries out transgender surgeries on children as young as 13, to train mental health practitioners how to identify and deal with people allegedly at “risk for targeted violence and terrorism”;
  • University of North Dakota ($386,682.78) for an “educational module [that] expands understanding of Indigenous culture”;
  • Columbia University ($820,332) to develop “an interactive program focused on storytelling”; and
  • Michigan State Police Michigan Intelligence Operations Center ($425,485) to “raise awareness of how the community can identify and properly refer individuals who may demonstrate behaviors that suggest they may be going down a path toward violence.” This comes after investigators exposed an alleged kidnapping plot targeting Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D), creeping with allegations of entrapment involving more than a dozen FBI agents or informants.

Such “anti-terrorism” grants seem more intended to target the soldiers Biden addressed than Osama bin Laden’s spiritual progeny.

Taken together, the picture of Joe Biden that emerges is one of an exhausted vessel shafted by his handlers, whose decades of foreign policy experience have created a more dangerous world — and whose victims will receive either his animus or indifference.

Before entering your current office, you took the following oath as required by 28 U.S. Code § 544:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support, protect, and defend the Constitution and Government of the United States of America.

This letter is to apprise you of egregious violations against the Constitution of the United States of America and U.S. Codes by Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., his family, and members of his importuning putative administration.

These violations include the high crimes of bribery, extortion, child trafficking, murder, collusion, election interference, treason, seditious conspiracy, deprivation of rights under color of law, and more.

We have attached documents that provide information on your Constitutional authority and a sample charge sheet with evidence sufficient to empanel a grand jury to convene and determine if it is reasonable to prosecute each of these criminal acts, including treason.

I ask that you do your duty to restore equal justice under the law and reinstate the American people’s confidence in the justice and judicial systems, by arresting and prosecuting these offenders, in what amounts to an unprecedented coup d’état and pernicious attack upon our Republic, the several States and the American People.

New York City is not handling the influx of illegal immigrants well — and it’s American children who are paying for it.

When the children of NYC went back to school, 21,000 of them were turned away due to the arrival of migrant children.

At a high school in Long Island City, a line to enter stretched around the block.

“But don’t worry, a 15-year-old illegal immigrant from Venezuela said he’s excited for his first day of high school,” Sara Gonzales comments.

“Not so great, though, if you’re a child, an American child, in New York City being displaced by illegals,” she adds.

Eric July notes that most people who believe immigration won’t affect the country don’t realize that yes, America does have a finite amount of space.

“Folks act like this isn’t even a thing, right?” July says. “It’s just, ‘It’s okay, America’s big, has all this land, just bring each and every individual over here. These folks are seeking better lives and that’s it.’”

“But they don’t ever look at the short-term and especially the long-term issues, even cultural issues, cultural conflict, that can and has stemmed from this,” he adds.

John Doyle agrees.

“We don’t need this many people,” Doyle says. “They’re clogging up the housing markets, the highway system.”

“That’s not why we built this country. We didn’t build it for Venezuelans, we built it for Americans. I’m sorry, but like, that just happens to be the case,” he adds.

Gonzales notes that while those who disagree might believe it’s not a compassionate way to look at the situation, they are overlooking those who actually need that compassion who were born and raised in America.

“We’ve got all of these homeless people who are being displaced again in New York City,” she says.

“We’re choosing as a nation to not be compassionate to our own in exchange for being compassionate for citizens of other countries.”

‘I Put Some Lube On’: John Kennedy Reads Aloud From Pornographic Kids Books At Senate Hearing

Republican Sen. John Neely Kennedy of Louisiana read from a pornographic book at a Senate hearing on Tuesday amid a heated exchange about school boards removing such books from libraries.

Kennedy read from two books — “All Boys Aren’t Blue” and “Gender Queer: A Memoir” — both which have been removed from bookshelves in school districts across the country over their sexual conduct. The hearing, titled “Book Bans: Examining How Censorship Limits Liberty and Literature,” was held by the Senate Judiciary Committee.

“I put some lube on and got him on his knees and I began to slide into him from behind. I pulled out of him and kissed him while he masturbated. He asked me to turn over while he slipped a condom on himself. This was my ass, and I was struggling to imagine someone inside me. He got on top and slowly inserted himself into me. Kennedy then questioned Democratic Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias of Illinois, a witness at the hearing, about whether he thought the book should be available to kids, as well as Cameron Samuels, a student who uses “they/them” pronouns and had a placard with the title “Mx. Cameron Samuels.”

“It’s pronounced Mix,” Samuels said. “Senator, your definition of ‘sexual’ is synonymous with LGBTQ identity.”

Samuels went on to say that there should be “collaboration between students, parents, and educators” on the availability of books and defended the books from which Kennedy read.

“All Boys Aren’t Blue, the scene you mentioned, is about sexual abuse. It’s not erotic … Students who do not read books like All Boys Aren’t Blue cannot learn what is appropriate,” Samuels said.

“All I’ve heard is the librarians [get to decide] and parents have nothing to do with it. If that’s your response, what planet did you just parachute in from? Or what country, more appropriately? This is not China,” Kennedy said.

“Mr. Secretary, I understand this is good for your politics back home,” he told Giannoulias. “It has everything to do with your politics. You came here with a problem. I’m trying to understand the solution, but you don’t have one.”

New Mexico Sheriff Stands for the U.S. Constitution

The Sheriff in each county within the United States of America is the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of that county. NO ONE outranks the Sheriff! This fact is little discussed nor understood, but it is a true statement. Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (to which I am a Life Member) teaches this and other significant roles of a duly elected Sheriff. Sheriff Richard Mack, Founder and President of Constitutional Sheriff and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA) frequently travels the nation teaching Sheriffs and law enforcement the rights and duties of the Sheriff, and the Constitutional authority of the Sheriff in each county across our nation, all 3,143 counties.

Bernalillo County, New Mexico Sheriff John Allen stood strong for the Constitution of the United States, for the citizens rights under the US Constitution, and against a politician who clearly spoke contempt for the very same US Constitution she swore an oath to preserve, protect and defend. New Mexico sheriff says he won’t enforce ‘unconstitutional’ gun ban: ‘Protecting the Second Amendment’

Democratic New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham is facing widespread pushback from state law enforcement officials following her attempt to ban concealed and open carry permits.

Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen described Grisham’s 30-day “public health order” as “unconstitutional” during a press conference this week despite standing beside the governor during her rollout of the policy.

“It’s unconstitutional, so there’s no way we can enforce that order,” the sheriff said in a Monday news conference. “This ban does nothing to curb gun violence.”

Many Americans are now waking up to the truth about what has been happening to our nation for years: that there are groups of people, some made up of evil people, some made up of utterly ignorant Americans, others who are part of various cabals around the globe that seemingly want to see the demise of the United States of America.

Too many strange events have occurred, and are still occurring, many of them unexplained, creating crisis after crisis, to believe that they all just “happened” on their own. In most cases, the events are political in nature, or have a political basis, and it brings to mind the words of former POTUS, Franklin D. Roosevelt, who said: “In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.” So we seem to be seeing a deliberate, well-planned series of events designed to reduce this nation to a shadow of its former glorious state.

It is not difficult to look a short time into the future and see some catastrophic event(s) turning this nation into a smoking heap of ash, or worse, a third-world toilet with no hope for a future of freedom or liberty that we have known all our lives.

Whether this nation is on a course to imminent disaster because of these unexplained events by the supposed perpetrators, is subject to speculation, and there is another possibility that I will discuss later in this article.

The Return of the Jewish People to their Promised Land

Those of us who are a part of the generation that saw the establishment of the nation of Israel in their own historic homeland on May 14, 1948, in fulfillment of the ‘dry bones’ prophecy in Ezekiel 37:1-14, are aware of how quickly unexpected events can change the world. Before that historic event, the majority of the Jewish people were scattered into nearly every country on earth, awaiting their eternal dwelling place to re-emerge from the dustbin of history.

The Jewish people were nearly ‘counted out’ by the world when they suffered so many lost in the Holocaust after having been persecuted by many nations where they settled. But God has a way of changing things, miraculously, in a short period of time. He was working both overtly and covertly on behalf of His chosen earthly people for many years, and through two world wars, and when His timing was right, the land that had laid so desolate and barren for so long saw the return of thousands of Jewish people from many countries where they had been dispersed beginning in AD 70 after the destruction of the Second Temple by the Romans.

Their homeland lay barren for centuries after the Jews were scattered as a result of God’s anger toward them for their rejection of His Son and Our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. God, the Master Planner, Who knew the exact day the nation of Israel would be reformed, with the return of hundreds of thousands of Jews from around the world, had everything concerning that return well in hand and no assistance from man was needed to facilitate it. When God decides something will happen on a certain date, it will happen, period.

The renewal of their ancestral homeland did not occur overnight, but since May 14, 1948, the return of the Jewish people to the land given to them eternally by Jehovah, it has blossomed into the land that God predicted it would be upon their return. Israel is a growing and in many respects a thriving nation that has become one of the marvels of the entire  world, even though they are surrounded by many millions of people who have harbored a generational hatred toward Israel and who still threaten their existence continuously and are continually attacking and killing Jews whenever and wherever they can.

U.S. Involvement

The United States, as a result of the action of former POTUS, Harry S. Truman, was the first nation to recognize the new state of Israel in May 1948. Seemingly an ally of the newly formed Jewish nation, the U.S. government gradually became more and more involved in the administration of the Israeli government, even to the point of dictating Israeli policy that was favored by, and favorable to, the U.S. and its leaders, to be accepted by the Israeli government. Much of this policy was directed toward forming a peace between Israel and their surrounding Arab neighbors and, at least in the 80’s and 90’s, involved swapping Jewish land for peace.

Such a “forced” policy may work in areas where the person who originally gave the land to the Jewish people is not directly involved in what happens to the land in question. But all those who believe the word of God that clearly states how God feels about the Jewish people and the land He gave them for an eternal possession, should be incensed about any and all attempts to sidestep God’s declarations and make men the final arbiters of land disputes between Israel and the surrounding Arab nations. Regardless of the number of such “disputes” on the part of Israel’s neighbors, as well as any other nation that might try to force a solution to the disputes, there is no dispute in the mind of God. He spoke His will when He told Abraham: “Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever” (Genesis 13:14).

In God’s mind the ownership of the “disputed land” is settled; He gave it to Abraham and his seed for an eternal inheritance and regardless of what men may say about it, they will not ever change God’s mind.

God chose Abraham to father the people from whom He would provide His means of salvation from the curses on humanity and the earth. He had His plan formulated and ready before He even created man and has NEVER needed the help of men to bring His plan to fruition.

Unfortunately, the misguided leaders of the United States government have, for decades, deemed it their mission in life to decide how the land of Israel will be administered. Their misguided efforts have brought many disasters on our nation, many times within mere hours or days of their arrogant actions toward Israel.

God warned mankind, over and over, about trying to usurp His plans both for Israel and the Gentile nations. His warnings were always clear about what would happen when they were ignored, especially His warnings about Israel and Jerusalem. Those warnings are still very pertinent to the actions we can see regarding the Gentile nations who are hell-bent on usurping God’s authority over Jerusalem. Their actions will not end well for them.

The United Nations, an organization that is nearly 100% against God and His plan for the Jewish people and all of mankind, has been behind the actions to smear and insult Israel. As a world organization having nearly two hundred nation-members, they use their unified clout to push total lies about the Jewish people, especially relating to Israel’s actions against the surrounding nations that want to see Israel destroyed. When events occur involving conflict between Israel and one or more of their close neighbors, especially the events that cost the lives of the terrorists that work so diligently to kill Jews, the U.N. always sides with the terrorists against Israel. The bias is so blatant even a child could see through it. The U.N. member-nations make no attempt to hide their hatred for Israel and those who support the Jewish people.

In many instances, the U.N. has directed its hatred against the United States when this nation stood with Israel and against those who want to see the Jews wiped off the map. It is highly likely that most of the nations in the U.N. now have a growing hatred for the U.S., not just because of our stance in favor of israel, but also because of the way that our government is constantly pushing them around, either with military threats or with financial sanctions against them for one reason or another.

I can only speculate about the feelings of other nations toward America, but if it is true that they have little love for the U.S. government, it would then follow that they would participate, overtly or covertly in any action that would reduce the U.S. influence in the world.

My personal opinion is the the current course of this nation, definitely heading the wrong direction, and seemingly bound for utter destruction, is due to this corrupt nation having banged head first into God’s foreign policy toward all who would curse and disrespect the offspring of Abraham. Let me explain:

In Genesis 12:1-3, God specifically told Abraham how He (God) felt about other peoples and nations treating His (God’s) chosen people, the Apple of His Eye, with anything other than respect and honor. He said to Abraham, “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed” (Genesis 12:3).

A closer word study of verse three reveals more closely what God had intended. The word “curseth” is the Hebrew word “qalal”, Strong’s 7043, pronounced kaw-lal’), meaning to revile, to show contempt for (the feeling or attitude of regarding someone or something as inferior, base or worthless), to scorn, to insult, to disrespect.

The word “curse” used in the same verse is the Hebrew word “arar”, Strong’s 779, pronounced aw-rar’) meaning to execrate (declare to be worthless or abhorrent, to loathe), and to bitterly curse (to declare to be loathed, excommunicated/cut off and  utterly damned/destroyed).

Because the translators of the King James version used the English word “curse” twice, the text is misleading and fails to provide a true understanding of just how contemptible God finds those who treat Abraham and his offspring with disrespect.

The best example of God’s utter disgust with those who disrespect Abraham is the Jewish nation itself. God chose Abraham to be the forefather of the woman who would form and carry the body of Jesus. All his earthly life, Jesus perfectly exhibited God’s love and plan for the Jewish people, including their own redemption, individually and as a nation, and their earthly status as His chosen people, but that was all dependent on the Jews accepting Jesus as their Messiah. When they rejected Him, and approved his crucifixion, God’s anger was kindled and he utterly destroyed their nation. As a people/nation, they disappeared from the earth for 2000 years and wandered into and through many nations who also despised them just for being Jews. Is it not a true indication of how much God respected Abraham that He would destroy the very nation of Israel for the rejection of His Son, himself a Jew?

If God would do that to the people He declared to be the Apple of His eye, how much more likely is it that His wrath will fall on other nations who not only disrespect Abraham, but openly declare their utter hatred for them and openly threaten  to wipe them off the map?

Just as bad as those who issue loud and open threats is the action of any nation that would work, overtly or covertly, to divide the land that God promised to Abraham and his offspring for an ”eternal inheritance”.

The United States, having been greatly blessed because of her initial defense and support of Israel, but now having become so determined to continue interfering with their government and still working to force a peace that would allow for the destruction of Israel, is absolutely NOT exempt from God’s wrath.

Based on the info in the last several paragraphs, it is my opinion that the leaders of the United States, having been guilty of trying to “force a phony peace” between Israel and her Arab neighbors, by encouraging the Jews to “offer their land in exchange for peace”, many times over the past 30 years, are the epitome of “partners with Satan”  who have placed our nation in the physical, financial, moral and spiritual quagmire we are now in.

That “other possibility” I mentioned earlier is that God Himself has decided already the fate of the United States, based on the evil done to the nation of Israel through the many events in which our government leaders have tried to interfere with the plans God has for the Jewish people. The last 50 years have produced a seriously misguided bunch of godless fools who think they know better than God how to “handle” Israel, and that may have placed the US where we are right now, a foundering ship with no clear direction of finding its ways back to where we were  200 years ago, or even 50 years ago.

The many actions of the United States immoral and corrupt leaders which have placed Israel in danger have also made the U.S. a target of God’s wrath, and have given Satan a reason to rejoice as he watched his minions destroy their own nation. Kevin McCarthy Announces House GOP To Launch Impeachment Inquiry Into President Biden

Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy announced Tuesday that the Republican Party will move forward with an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz and other House Republicans have continued to pressure McCarthy to move forward with an impeachment inquiry. The speaker said he now believes there is enough evidence stemming from the House Judiciary Committee and House Oversight Committee to move forward with an impeachment inquiry into the president.

He made the announcement outside the Speaker’s office in the U.S. Capitol.

“Today, I am directing our House Committee to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden,” McCarthy said. “This logical next step will give our committees the full power to gather all the facts and answers for the American public. That’s exactly what we want to know: the answers.”

The House GOP was expected to vote on an impeachment inquiry; however, McCarthy did not mention holding a vote to move forward with the inquiry during Tuesday’s statement.

Citing the testimony of two Internal Revenue Service (IRS) whistleblowers, McCarthy said in July that an impeachment inquiry would help Republicans better access documents detailing alleged misconduct from government officials benefiting Hunter Biden. Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik has endorsed McCarthy’s’ position, which Democrats adopted in 2019 during former President Donald Trump’s first impeachment.

In May, Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene introduced articles of impeachment against Biden during a press conference.

White House spokesperson Ian Sams said Tuesday morning that “[t]he House GOP investigations have turned up no evidence of wrongdoing by POTUS [President Biden]. In fact, their own witnesses have testified to that, and their own documents have showed no link to POTUS.”

China-based hackers impersonated American voters online and used artificial intelligence (AI) to create and promote divisive online content during the 2022 midterm elections, according to a report by Microsoft.

The effort was part of a series of covert influence operations by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) intended to mimic U.S. voters from across the political spectrum and create controversy along racial, economic, and ideological lines, according to the Sept. 7 report.

“Ahead of the 2022 U.S. midterms, Microsoft and industry partners observed CCP-affiliated social media accounts impersonating U.S. voters—new territory for CCP-affiliated [influence operations],” the report reads.

“These accounts posed as Americans across the political spectrum and responded to comments from authentic users.”

The report includes examples of visual content created by Chinese communist actors using artificial intelligence. These included images supporting “Black Lives Matter,” the false claim that “most black people are killed by police,” and more generic anti-American rhetoric.

The report states that the AI-generated content is more “eye-catching” than China’s previous attempts at overseas propaganda and will likely be improved upon and used against Americans in the future.

The radical activists stormed McCarthy’s office to riot in favor of a 5 year reauthorization of PEPFAR, a program that addresses the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

When Democrats do this, they are “occupying.”

A group of protesters stormed Kevin McCarthy’s office on Capitol Hill on Monday, demanding he reauthorize PEPFAR, the HIV/AIDS relief program.

‘McCarthy – pass PEPFAR now,’ they shouted and chanted as they seated themselves on the floor.

U.S. Capitol Police removed them from McCarthy’s office in the Rayburn House Office Building, which is across the street from his official speaker’s office in the Capitol building.

The seven protesters, some wearing t-shirts that read HIV-positive and waving signs calling to ‘end AIDS,’ were handcuffed and taken away.

It’s unlikely McCarthy was in that office as he usually works out of the Capitol building but his staff didn’t immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s inquiry. Monday marks the day House members are returning to Washington D.C. after their summer break.

PEPFAR, also known as the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, fights AIDS and HIV and the virus that causes it in areas throughout the developing world. It provides funding for prevention, treatment and medication.

PEPFAR funds are credited with saving 25 million lives across the globe. The funds are spread across Africa, Asia and the Caribbean.

The activists – from Health GAP (Global Access Project), which is a nonprofit that advocates for those with HIV and Housing Works, a group dedicated to ending homelessness and AIDS – posted video and pictures of their protest all over social media.

‘This global AIDS program has saved 25 million lives. We need a CLEAN 5-YEAR REAUTHORIZATION from Congress,’ Housing Works posted online.

But some conservative Republicans charge that funds from the program’s nearly $7 billion annual budget goes to abortion providers.

President Joe Biden’s administration, the program’s leaders and outside experts vehemently deny this.

Protestors stormed McCarthy’s office to demand that PEPFAR, a global AIDS program, become reauthorized

However, Republican Rep. Chris Smith of New Jersey, who heads the subcommittee that controls PEPFAR, is leading the charge to stop the program’s renewal until the anti-abortion restrictions the Biden administration lifted in 2021 are reinstated.

Those restricts prevented groups using PEPFAR funds from discussing abortion as an option.

Democrats argue any pause in funding can harm those fighting the virus.

McCarthy, meanwhile, is dealing with a full plate.

As lawmakers return to Capitol Hill this week, he has to fund the government before the September 30th deadline, deal with a White House request for more aid to the Ukraine and appease conservatives, who want to begin impeachment proceedings against President Joe Biden.

He is balancing several balls in the air as the fall session begins.

He became speaker after a deal with the conservative wing of the Republican Party issued a list of demands – including the ability to call a quick vote to ‘vacate the chair’ and remove him from office.

DHS Awards Anti-Terror Grant for LGBTQ Group to Indoctrinate 6-Year-Olds

The Biden administration has awarded an anti-terrorism grant worth more than half-a-million dollars to an LGBTQ activist group, which distributes condoms and “sex education” material, to expand its “in-school support for LGBTQ+ youth” as young as age 6. The manifesto of its school-based group — which is based on the Black Panthers — calls for the “abolition” of the police, the erasure of the U.S. border, and the “reclamation” of all “stolen lands” by indigenous people.

Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that the Sexual Minority Youth Assistance League (SMYAL) had received a $530,000 Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention (TVTP) grant late this week. Although the TVTP grant is intended “to prevent targeted violence and terrorism,” the grant synopsis explains that the SMYAL “will provide in-school support for LGBTQ+ youth, training for school staff and youth service providers, [and] resilience programming for LGBTQ+ youth ages 6-24.” The grant will address both “the risk of violence and negative mental health outcomes faced by LGBTQ+ youth” in Washington, D.C., and nearby Montgomery County, Maryland.

GSA Networks Seek to Abolish the Police, Borders, and ‘Cisgender Heterosexual Patriarchy’

SMYAL’s latest 990 form states that its members run the “DC Regional GSA,” or Genders & Sexualities Alliance (GSA) Network clubs, which aims to “lead the charge for LGBTQ rights and social justice.” Formerly the “Gay-Straight Alliance,” the group renamed itself the Gender & Sexualities Alliances Network in 2015 to signal that its leaders “have moved beyond the labels of gay and straight, and the limits of a binary gender system.” GSA boasts of 4,000student-run clubs operated by 40 state chapters.

The GSA Network’s “Truth Nine Point Platform” calls for “the Abolition of the Police, ICE, Borders and the Judicial System”; “an End of the Cisgender Heterosexual Patriarchy”; “Reparations for all Indigenous and Black Peoples,” including “Indigenous reclamation of stolen lands”; and “free and non-compulsory education for all ages.”

“The manifesto was inspired by and builds upon the Black Panther Party’s Ten-Point Program, the Young Lord’s 12 Point Program and Platform, and the Third World Gay Revolution,” GSA Network states, as it promises “to bravely and ferociously fight for our communal liberation.” The Black Panther Party “advocated the use of violence and guerilla tactics to overthrow the U.S. government,” according to the FBI.

“We invite our comrades in struggle who align with our principles, including those who have yet to self-determine their relationship to the struggle, to join us in solidarity, coalition, and liberation — remembering the revolution is a relationship,” the GSA Network platform concludes.

SMYAL activists “connect with and provide assistance to teachers, staff, administrators, community members and partners to start and grow local GSAs,” according to its tax filings.

SMYAL Distributes Condoms, Gives LGBT Adults Access to Children without Parental Supervision

The first item listed on SMYAL’s “sexual health” program is “condom distribution.” SMYAL operates a “Peer Health Fellowship” for children ages 13-24: “Fellows serve their their [sic] schools and communities as health educators. Fellows serve their community as role models, leaders, and trusted friends by distributing condoms and safer-sex information,” according to the group’s most recent tax filings.

SMYAL operates numerous youth groups for children who identify as LGBT or “who are exploring or questioning their identities.” The youngest group, known as Little SMYAL, combines children from 6 to 12, although teens may opt to continue attending. The next level includes programs for children from early adolescence through their mid-20s.

“Little SMYAL’s is a group for queer and trans 6-12 year olds to provide young people a safe(r) space hang out [sic] and meet new people,” its website states. “To best meet the needs of our youth, we have programs that are designed for 6 to 9-year-olds (who we call Unicorns) or 10 to 13-year-olds (who we call Rainbows),” the group explains. “If your child is 13, they may choose to continue attending Little SMYALs programs or age up into SMYAL’s drop-in programs for youth ages 13+.”

“Some programs are open to all youth within this 13-24 age range,” SMYAL notes.

SMYAL actively seeks to separate children or adolescents from their parents, asking for access to young children without parental supervision. “We invite caregivers to attend a ‘Welcome to Little SMYALs’ session to make sure their child is ready to participate in future programming. We then encourage caregivers to give their child some space to allow them to meet new friends and participate fully in this environment,” SMYAL’s website states. “[S]ome parents/caregivers have enjoyed getting coffee down the street together during in-person programs.”

SMYAL also offers “clinical services to LGBTQ youth ages 6-24,” including “trauma-enforced yoga, sound healing, and mindfulness.” Its Youth Leadership Development program holds workshops on topics ranging from “allyship” to “gender and sexuality 101.”

‘Beyond Ridiculous’

Giving an anti-terrorism grant to a child-focused LGBTQ activist group is “beyond ridiculous,” Meg Kilgannon, senior fellow for Education Studies at Family Research Council, told The Washington Stand. “Anti-terrorism and violence prevention money from DHS is supposed to prevent another 9/11 bombing — actual violent terrorism. It’s not supposed to impose sexual ideologies on children or adults. That’s child abuse and taxpayer abuse.”

“When people say they want to close agencies like the FBI, CIA, or DHS, programs like this one are part of the reason for that sentiment,” she said.

The taxpayer-funded DHS grant will greatly enhance SYMAL’s budget. The $530,000 TVTP grant represents 15% of the $3.6 million in revenue the group reported in 2021. (In all $2,061,623 of its $3,632,170 came from government grants.) SYMAL spent $351,123 promoting the GSA Networks’ agenda. It also spent $350,363 on its Peer Health Fellowship and $302,248 on its Youth Leadership Development Program.

Awarding SMYAL and other politically polarizing organizations DHS grants shows that “the national security industrial complex is too big and too focused on perceived threats to government from American citizens rather than on actual national security threats: cyberattacks on public schools and other organizations; lawlessness at the border; child trafficking rings; drug trafficking rings — all with international ties,” Kilgannon said.

“It’s not the job of DHS to make people feel good about their own sex lives and enforce societal endorsement of sex acts,” she concluded.
