Rep. Gaetz Calls For Taxpayer-Funded NPR To Explain Affiliate Airing Louis Farrakhan’s Speeches

Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz sent a letter Wednesday to Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) President and CEO Patricia de Stacy Harrison and National Public Radio (NPR) President and CEO John Lansing. The letter asks about the use of taxpayer funds to play Nation of Islam (NOI) leader Louis Farrakhan’s speeches during a weekly show on an affiliate station.

The Daily Caller first obtained a copy of the letter to the CEOs in regards to Final Call Radio, which airs every Sunday night on NPR affiliate WEAA 88.9. The letter says the station labels itself as “The Official Voice of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan” and plays his speeches that include antisemitic comments.

WEAA received over $250,000 in funding in 2021 from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CBP), which is entirely funded by Congress.

The radio station airs in the Washington D.C.-Baltimore area.

Farrakhan has a history of “railing against Jews, white people and the LGBT community,” according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

“Americans would be shocked to learn that black supremacy, ethnic extremism, or historical revisionism of any kind, especially of this magnitude, is being funded by their tax dollars. Sadly, if they accessed WEAA 88.9’s website, they would see that the station received $251,815 in taxpayer funds through the congressionally authorized Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) in 2021,” Gaetz wrote in the letter.

Gaetz asks in the letter:

  • How much taxpayer money has WEAA 88.9 been allocated by CPB in 2022 and 2023?
  • What vetting processes do CPB and NPR use to ensure taxpayer funds are not being allocated to organizations that platform extremist content?
  • What vetting processes do CPB and NPR use to ensure taxpayer funds are not being allocated to organizations that platform pseudohistorical and historically revisionist content?
  • What other hate groups do CPB and/or NPR fund with taxpayer dollars?

READ THE LETTER HERE:

“Farrakhan has embarked on a wide-ranging campaign specifically targeting the Jewish community, a campaign that has featured some of the most hateful speeches of his tenure as head of NOI,” the ADL’s website reads. “Farrakhan has alleged that the Jewish people were responsible for the slave trade and that they conspire to control the government, the media and Hollywood, as well as various black individuals and organizations. He frequently denies the legitimacy of Judaism – or Jewish claim to the land of Israel — arguing that Judaism is nothing more than a ‘deceptive lie’ and a ‘theological error’ promoted by Jews to further their ‘control’ over America’s government and economy.”

The radio station is owned by Morgan State University, a public university that received $46 million in federal grants and contracts in 2022.

National Archives Has 5,400 Joe Biden Emails Using Aliases and Fake Names To Discuss Business with Hunter and Forward Classified Govt Info

For what, aliases? What was he hiding? Criminals use aliases.

This nation is under siege by the most powerful organized crime racket in the world.

National Archives reveals it has 5,400 Biden emails in which the president potentially used FAKE NAMES to forward government information and discuss business with son Hunter

By JAMES GORDON FOR DAILYMAIL.COM

President Joe Biden may have used pseudonyms in nearly 5,400 emails, electronic records and documents when he was vice president, a bombshell letter from the National Archives and Records Administration reveals.

The trove of communications was confirmed after the Southeastern Legal Foundation (SLF) filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) for emails connected to aliases allegedly used by Biden, including Robin Ware, Robert L. Peters, and JRB Ware.

Republicans have been demanding the release of the emails they say could show Biden used the names to discuss foreign business with his son and share information on countries where he was doing deals.

The White House has insisted Biden was never in business with his son, and vice presidents and high-level government officials often use pseudonyms to prevent being inundated with spam and emails from the public.

At the time, the Obama administration dismissed criticism the communications were ‘secret’ because they were all archived.

But the sheer volume of emails raises questions over whether then-VP Biden broke the ‘absolute wall’ he said he maintained between the ‘the personal and private, and the government’.

Emails from Hunter’s laptop also reveal business partners referred to Biden as the ‘big guy’.

National Archives Has 5,400 Biden Emails With Pseudonyms

By Jeffrey Rodack| Newsmax, 29 August 2023:

The National Archives and Records Administration acknowledged it has about 5,400 emails that potentially show President Joe Biden hid behind phony names while vice president, the New York Post is reporting.

The existence of the records was confirmed by the NARA and came in response to a June 2022 Freedom of Information Act request by the Southeastern Legal Foundation.

Specifically, the SLF, a nonprofit constitutional legal group, requested emails relating to the accounts of Robin Ware, Robert L. Peters, and JRB Ware — pseudonyms Joe Biden was known to use in the White House during his time as vice president under Barack Obama, the Post said.

The legal foundation sued the NARA for the release of the records on Monday. The group claims the records could show Joe Biden may have provided government information to his son, Hunter Biden.

Kimberly Hermann, SLF general counsel, said in a statement: “All too often, public officials abuse their power by using it for their personal or political benefit. When they do, many seek to hide it. The only way to preserve governmental integrity is for NARA to release Joe Biden’s nearly 5,400 emails to SLF and thus the public. The American public deserves to know what is in them.”

Stephannie Oriabure, director of NARA’s archival operations division, wrote the SLF on June 24, 2022, saying: “We have performed a search of our collection for vice presidential records related to your [June 9, 2022] request and have identified approximately 5,138 email messages, 25 electronic files and 200 pages of potentially responsive records that must be processed in order to respond to your request,” according to the lawsuit.

The SLF said none of the emails or documents have been turned over to the group.

Trump Beating Biden Big in 2024 General Polling

President Trump is surging with American voters. Polls have President Trump winning the popular vote against President Biden in 2024.

This will give President Trump a clear win via the Electoral College. Expect the Left’s deranged efforts to derail the Trump campaign to intensify in the months ahead.

The other Republican Party presidential candidates must suspend their campaigns immediately and get behind President Trump.

TRUMP IS BEATING BIDEN BIG IN 2024 GENERAL POLLING

By RSBN, Aug 28th, 2023

As the 2024 general election marches closer, President Donald Trump is in a dominant position to win back the White House next November.

New general election polling shows the 45th president leading Biden nationwide. According to Emerson College, Trump has a 5-point lead in a three-way battle for the nomination between himself, Biden, and Green Party candidate Cornel West.

Another new poll from Reuters/Ipsos illustrated Trump’s powerful position looking ahead to the 2024 general election. Their national data found that President Donald Trump had 38 percent support among general election respondents, including Democrats, Republicans, and Independents.

Joe Biden had 32 percent of support. Among Republicans in their poll, Trump held 52 percent of support, gaining five more points of support since August 3. Republican presidential candidate Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., held 13 percent support, illustrating neither a point gain nor loss for the Florida leader since the beginning of the month.

Biden: ‘White Supremacy is the Greatest Terrorist Threat We Face in the Homeland.’

“The U.S. intelligence community has determined that domestic terrorism rooted in white supremacy is the greatest terrorist threat we face in the homeland.”

Right, white people are our greatest threat, not the open borders, bribery, money laundering, utter lawlessness in our cities, flash mobs, cartel drug and human trafficking on a massive scale, election fraud, or our complete government being compromised and corrupt. The greatest threat America faces yet it accounts for less than 0.01% of all murders.

Biden’s Terror Funding Just Killed an Israeli Preschool Teacher

Terror deaths fell every year under Trump and rose every year under Biden.

Last year, Biden met with Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas and boasted that, “I reversed the policies of my predecessor and resumed aid to the Palestinians — more than a half a billion dollars in 2021.”

Batsheva Nigri, a preschool teacher, was riding in a car with her six-year-old daughter when Islamic terrorists from the Palestinian Authority’s Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade cut them off and riddled the car with 22 bullets. Batsheva’s six-year-old daughter watched her mother die.

The Palestinian Authority’s terror group hailed the murder of a 42-year-old preschool teacher as a “natural response to the crimes of the occupation” and as revenge for Denis Michael Rohan, a non-Jewish Australian tourist, starting a fire in the Al Aqsa occupation mosque in 1969.

Those who knew the preschool teacher described her as a woman with a “heart of gold” to whom “all the children were like her children.” Hamas and Islamic Jihad however claimed that her murder glorifies Allah.

Monday’s murder comes after an Israeli father and son were shot to death on the Sabbath. They’re among a growing list of terror victims this year ranging in age from a 6-year-old boy run down on a Jerusalem street to an 82-year-old woman who was killed while trying to get her disabled husband to safety when a rocket hit their building.

The twenty-six terror victims are a sharp increase from the only 3 deaths in 2020 when the Trump administration’s cutoff of aid to the terrorists occupying parts of Israel took effect.

The number of terror victims fell every year Trump was in office, from 15 in 2017, to 12 in 2018, 10 in 2019 and then only 3 in 2020. And the number of terror victims shot up every year Biden was in office from 17 in 2021, to 31 in 2022, and there is every sign that 2023 will top that.

Twice as many Israelis were killed in one month of Biden than in one year of Trump.

It’s only August and already 26 Israelis have been killed by Islamic terrorists. Last year at this time 18 Israelis had been killed by terrorists making for a 40% increase in 2023.

What made all the difference? As Rep. Ilhan Omar once said, “It’s all about the ‘benjamins’”.

In 2018, Congress passed the Taylor Force Act, named after an Iraq War veteran who was stabbed to death by a terrorist in Jerusalem, which cut off most aid to the Palestinian Authority. In 2019, President Trump went even further with a nearly total cutoff of aid to the Palestinian Authority. Biden not only restored aid, he sharply increased the flow of cash to the terrorists.

Biden’s half a billion dollars helped fuel a massive surge in Islamic terrorism. While the money is officially listed as humanitarian aid, injecting money into terror zones funds terrorism.

The Palestinian Authority maintains a ‘pay-to-slay’ program which pays salaries to terrorists based on the lengths of their prison sentences. That means successful killers can earn $3,000 a month in a part of the world where the average salary is around $700 a month. It’s five times more profitable to be a terrorist than a teacher.

That’s the price of Batsheva’s life and that is what the Biden administration has been paying for.

The Biden administration is well aware that the Palestinian Authority funds terrorism. While Biden and Secretary of State Blinken refused to raise the issue with terror leader Mahmoud Abbas, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Barbara Leaf claimed, “we are working to bring pay-to-slay to an end.” Instead the United States is funding pay-to-slay.

And worse.

Recent documents reveal that the State Department applied for an OFAC license which exempts it from Global Terrorist Sanctions Regulations in order to provide foreign aid.

A government sanctions exemption document warned that, “we assess there is a high risk Hamas could potentially derive indirect, unintentional benefit from U.S. assistance to Gaza. There is less but still some risk U.S. assistance would benefit other designated groups.”

The Biden administration knows that it’s funding terrorism. It is not only aware of it but it actually applied for an exemption in order to be able to continue funding terrorists… including Hamas.

Batsheva’s murder, like that of the 74 terror victims killed under Biden, was paid for directly and indirectly through foreign aid to terrorists and sanctions relief on Iran’s terror regime. These policies were not undertaken in ignorance, the OFAC documents provide clear evidence that the Biden administration had been warned that it was funding terrorism and that people would die.

That’s why the number of Israelis continues to climb every year that Biden has been in office.

After 7 Israelis, including a 14-year-old boy, were killed in a Sabbath terrorist attack outside a synagogue in January 2023, Secretary of State Blinken met with Mahmoud Abbas and promised another $50 million to UNRWA which acts as the employment agency for Hamas. Earlier that same month, the Biden administration warned Israel to turn over $39 million in tax revenues to terrorists rather than providing that money to help terror victims rebuild their lives.

In August, with 4 Israelis already murdered, the Biden administration demanded that Republicans stop blocking $75 million in “humanitarian aid” to the UN agency. Sen. Jim Risch and Rep. Michael McCaul are determined to block that aid until Secretary of State Blinken certifies that UNRWA “is not affiliated with U.S. designated foreign terrorist organizations”. And yet the Biden administration can’t seem to even manage to clear that lowest of legal bars.

In Batsheva’s hometown of Efrat, which the Biden administration considers an “illegal settlement” despite being referenced numerous times in the bible, the children have lost a teacher and a friend.

The murdered preschool teacher had been on the way to “prepare the kindergarten for the start of the year.” A woman who worked with her described how “every time I entered the kindergarten, she welcomed me with a beaming smile that always accompanied her. The children were everything to her, she always hugged them and gave what she could to the children, the staff, the parents.”

Batsheva did not have to die. None of the 26 already killed this year did. The 3 dead in 2020 show what’s possible. The Biden administration is knowingly funding the murder of the innocent.

Brown Future: Migration Flows And The Law Of Unintended Consequences

The report is horrible to contemplate. A major Western human rights organization reports that Saudi border troops may have killed hundreds of Ethiopian migrants attempting to enter the Kingdom’s borders from Yemen.[1] Whatever the details or context of this particular case turn out to be, the upshot is that here was a country that would defend its borders aggressively, with deadly force. Despite frequent criticism of American and European border policies, that rarely happens with those countries.

If anything, the border defenses of the EU and the USA resemble a sieve more than a wall. Almost seven million migrants have flooded north across the Mexico-United States border since Joe Biden became President in January 2021. Monthly encounters by the US Border Patrol with migrants are at record highs. Migration flows into Europe are also high. 20,000 – mostly young men from Algeria, Morocco, Senegal and Mali – have entered Spain in small boats this year alone.[2] “Irregular” migration into the United Kingdom is up 17 percent, with 85 percent of them arriving in small boats from France.[3] Twice as many migrants have arrived in Italy by sea this year – 113,500 – than had at the same time last year.[4]

Saudi Arabia is unusual in being so aggressive but is not alone. Syrian migrants trying to cross in Turkey have also been shot dead. African migrants coming into South Africa from other countries have been massacred. Some advanced countries seem to avoid migration pressure by virtue of policies that value ethnic homogeneity and exclude foreigners, Japan and South Korea (two countries with very low fertility rates) are two examples, but such a stance seems impossible in the West.

While economic globalization may have hit a rough spot since COVID, migration flows have recovered as the pandemic has ebbed. Migrants to the West – and their Western progressive advocates – have learned how to manipulate and bend laws and global humanitarian conventions to their benefit.[5] Strange new pathways have sprung up, with Mauritanians utilizing cheap tickets across the Atlantic and temporary visas to the Nicaraguan regime of dictator Daniel Ortega as a stratagem to enter the United States.[6]

And while large percentages of those coming into the United States and Europe are unaccompanied, and often poorly educated, solitary males, the flows are not limited to the poor or destitute. A 2022 poll found that 43.9 percent of Nigerian doctors want to emigrate, 91.3 percent of them said that they wanted to do so because of poor renumeration at home.[7] African, Latin American and Filipino priests have filled positions in Catholic parishes in America and Europe facing a severe shortage of local clergy.[8]

Much of the rhetoric about this subject has been deeply polarizing. Many see it as an unalloyed good, essentially as essential labor flows going to where they are needed most. In Spain, the leftist government has promoted migration with the idea that these newcomers will pay the pensions of Spain’s future elderly population. Others have decried these migration flows as a disaster, as a flood that seeks to replace the native population with foreigners or a phenomenon that brings crime and instability. 46 percent of those condemned for sexual assault in Spain are of foreign origin.[9]

While President Biden noted that America will soon have a “minority White European” population by 2040, Black residents and politicians in Chicago and New York City have decried the sudden arrival of large numbers of migrants.[10] The United States is the largest global recipient of international migrants (India is the largest sender of migrants).[11]

Rather than decry or applaud, I wanted to mention some likely trends on how migration will change both the United States and Europe. Some trends are obvious: the United States will be more Hispanic and the EU will be more Islamic in coming years.

One change that will affect the United States in ways many do not seem to have fully comprehended will be the slow, steady erosion of Black political power in the United States. Urban areas that were once uniformly Black and that produced political figures likes Jesse Jackson and Barack Obama will become more foreign-born and “browner.” In a trend already seen in Miami decades ago, Spanish speaking newcomers will gradually seek and secure greater representation in these cities, replacing local elites. That tension has already been on display in Los Angeles and Chicago where Blacks try to hold on to power as the numbers – and eventual voting power – of the newcomers continues to rise.[12] The 2020 U.S. Census revealed a considerable increase in Blacks abandoning these urban areas in the North for smaller towns, the suburbs and even the South.[13]

Diversity rules created in the West, particularly the United States, means that “diverse” arriving foreign populations will gain some benefits over locals, not just local Whites but local non-Whites. It is an interesting irony that the offspring of Indian Brahmins and Latin American oligarchs will likely be considered as part of the “oppressed” diverse population of the United States, worthy of preference in both public and private sectors, once they hit America’s shores.

Another development to watch will be the perhaps volatile combination of ethnic and generational politics. One of the justifications in the West for increased migration flows is that they are needed to prop up the welfare state, including paying for the elderly.[14] But, at least initially, this will mean the working young largely drawn from the new arrivals supposedly paying for the elderly from the original population, an unstated, and untested, social and generational bargain.

Still another consequence, although perhaps not entirely unintended, will occur not in the West but in the countries where migrants are fleeing from. While the brain drain is an obvious issue, an even more important result will be the export of political dissent. Here Cuba with its more than 60 years of “exporting” its political opposition was an early model.[15]

Expect to see the same trends of using migration as a political safety valve happening in regions like North Africa and the Middle East. The result will be regimes that will be even more calcified and resistant to change than before, like the sclerotic regime in Cuba. Instead of plotting for revolution at home, the desperate and dissatisfied will plot how to leave.[16] They may be losing young people and some well-educated sectors of the population – a trend that will hurt in the future – but regimes in Algeria and Cairo will be strengthened by encouraging their hotheads to emigrate. Less population and less unhappy populations will mean less pressure to change.

Ironically, these migration flows are likely to weaken democratic tendencies in the sending countries while placing greater stress on democratic processes in the receiving countries. This is especially true in nations where the elite is much more in favor of unrestricted migration than the voting public.[17]

Exporting their critics will help these sending regimes. But they will also, paradoxically, create populations in foreign countries that not only send remittances home, but that create powerful “lobbies” – on the street, in terms of street muscle – in Europe as we have seen with Turkish Grey Wolves[18] in certain regions and urban toughs from Algeria in France who still retain fervent, idealized loyalties to the land they, or their parents, came from.

Many are familiar with second-generation Muslim migrants being susceptible to Jihadist propaganda, but many others were susceptible to regime propaganda in ways to contribute to instability and discord in the West, not just terrorism.[19] During the recent riots in France, the Algerian dictatorship postured as being not only the “moral guardian” of Algerian migrants, but also of their descendants.[20]

These trends are already occurring now, even before climate change migration becomes a major global cause.[21] The hard edges and friction caused by these historic population flows will no doubt lead to other, less foreseen, challenges in the near future. One of the major challenges for Western governments will be to manage this issue which is not only an administrative and technical task but also a deeply political and divisive one.

ONS: 95% of Covid Deaths were Vaccinated As Biden Calls For New Nationwide Covid Shot Program

Not much of a vaccine, is it? How much more proof does anyone need? And Biden and his Democrat despots want to zap you again with the poison.

Deaths involving COVID-19 by vaccination status, England: deaths occurring between 1 April 2021 and 31 May 2023

1.Main points

  • Monthly age-standardised mortality rates (ASMRs) for deaths involving coronavirus (COVID-19) have been consistently lower for all months since booster introduction in September 2021 for people who had received a third dose or booster at least 21 days ago, compared with unvaccinated people and those with just a first or second dose.
  • The ASMRs for deaths involving COVID-19 have been consistently lower for all months since fourth dose or extra booster in spring 2022 for people who had received at least a fourth dose or extra booster at least 21 days ago, compared with unvaccinated people and those with just a first or second dose.
  • However, the ASMRs for deaths involving COVID-19 have been higher for all months since the introduction of fourth dose or extra booster in spring 2022 for people who had received at least a fourth dose or extra booster at least 21 days ago, compared with people who have had a third dose or booster; this is likely because of fourth doses or extra boosters being targeted at vulnerable populations.
  • The ASMRs for first and second vaccine doses have been similar to those for unvaccinated people from March 2022 onwards; however, the confidence limits are wide for these groups because of lower populations in these vaccination statuses.
  • The ASMRs are not equivalent to measures of vaccine effectiveness; they account for differences in age structure and population size, but there may be other differences between the groups (particularly underlying health) that affect mortality rates.
  • Non-COVID-19 mortality rates are similar, though slightly lower, in people who have had a third dose or booster compared with unvaccinated people in the latter half of 2022 and in 2023.

Non-COVID-19 mortality rates for first and second doses are more likely to be affected by confounding factors in the latter half of 2022 and in 2023 as these are people who did not receive a booster when eligible and therefore may differ from the general population. In this release ASMRs for deaths involving coronavirus (COVID-19) for people who have had a third dose are now much lower for the same periods compared with the previous release (February 2023). Many people who were classified as having had a third dose in the previous release likely already had a fourth dose, which was not captured in the data. In this release these people are now correctly captured as having received a fourth dose.

Age-standardised mortality rates

Age-standardised mortality rates (ASMRs) are used to allow comparisons between populations that may contain different proportions of people of different ages. The 2013 European Standard Population is used to standardise rates. In this bulletin, the ASMRs are calculated for each month. For more information, see Section 4: Measuring the data.

Democrats are losing Black voters. Here’s why!

“Judge a man not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character.” — Martin Luther King Jr.

“It should be deeply worrying that, according to recent polls, Democrats are losing support within the Latino communities and even among African American men…” — Senator Bernie Sanders, August 27, 2023 speaking at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College.

On August 24th, 2023 President Donald J. Trump flew to Atlanta, Georgia to be arrested, booked and have a mug taken of him, like MLK, Jr.

Ironically, sixty years ago this month, on August 28th, 1963, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his “I Have A Dream” speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, where over a quarter million people had gathered along the great reflecting pool to advance the cause of civil rights, especially equal justice under the law.

Since the release of that mugshot of Trump there has been a wave of social media posts expressing outrage, primarily from black Americans.

QUESTION: Why?

ANSWER: Because blacks have, like Trump, been victims of a biased and unfair justice system in America.

Upon leaving his booking in Atlanta, Georgia President Trump’s motorcade took a detour through urban, poor neighborhoods. The reaction and support from those living in these communities, primarily black families, was the reason he’s now one of them. Many of them have been booked, like Trump, on false charges.

WATCH:

On April 25, 2019 Adrianne Haney from the Associated Press wrote this about what is happening in Atlanta, Georgia,

Trump spoke at an annual conference of health, law enforcement, elected and other officials who work to combat drug abuse and addiction, and used the appearance to advocate for the wall he wants to build on the U.S.-Mexico border, saying it will help keep drugs out of the U.S. His wife, Melania, introduced him.

During the summit, President Donald Trump pledged to battle the deadly epidemic of opioid drug abuse “until our job is done” and he claimed progress even though it is unclear whether the crisis has diminished.

“My administration is deploying every resource at our disposal to empower you, to support you and to fight right by your side,” Trump said. “We will not solve this epidemic overnight but we will stop. … We will never stop until our job is done.”

[ … ]

Opioid abuse claimed a record of nearly 48,000 American lives in 2017. An estimated 2 million people are addicted to the drugs, which include both legal prescription pain medications and illegal drugs such as heroin.

While prescription opioids initially accounted for most deaths, the epidemic is now driven by illicit heroin and fentanyl. Those two drugs were implicated in the vast majority of opioid overdoses reported in 2017, according to federal figures.

Georgia’s overdose numbers are just as alarming. Between 2010 and 2017, opioid deaths in Georgia jumped 245 percent — accounting for more than 1,000 deaths in 2017 alone.

11Alive has done extensive reporting on the opioid epidemic and the impact it’s having on metro Atlanta’s suburbs.

Our team of digital investigators uncovered a startling 4000 percent increase in heroin-related deaths inside a geographic location identified as “The Triangle” in the wealthy suburbs of Atlanta.

That was the case at the time, but that area has grown.

Watch the full investigation, here.

Since Trump left office this opioid/fentanyl crisis has gotten much much worse across America.

Here are several postings on Twitter right after Trump’s mugshot heard round the world was released by the Atlanta DA’s office.

NIGGAS 4 TRUMP

One man, Derrick Gibson, stands out in his view of how he, and the black community, relate to what is happening to President Trump.

Here are three black women’s take on what is happening.

This Sherriff understands who is truly responsible for the growing violence in our inner cities, like Atlanta—wicked persons.

Donald J. Trump as a fellow traveler

Remember then Senator Joseph Robinett Biden Jr.’s take on blacks holding public office.

Blacks relate to what Donald J. Trump, as a fellow traveler, simply because of what he is going through. Many black families have been victims of corrupt politicians and District Attorneys both white and black. For blacks and now Trump they both are victims of a two-tiered justice system.

WATCH:

America’s justice system is not only weaponized it is broken beyond repair

The are many who say that America’s justice system needs a do over. A purging of those who use the laws of our land for their own nefarious reasons, rather than enforce the laws of our land equally.

Is Our Government ‘Adequate’ for Today’s Citizenry?

John M. Grondelski: If America becomes too secular, can our system of government – one “made for a moral and religious people” – survive?

In a recent column, “God and Caesar Today,” I raised the question of whether the Christian division of “things of Caesar” and “things of God” still made sense.  We live in a time when Caesar (at least in his “democratic” versions) professes to be agnostic about God.  It’s also a time when growing numbers of people couldn’t tell you where the idea of “God and Caesar” comes from.  So when we Christians talk about “rendering” each his due, we are speaking a language Caesar and his minions no longer understand. The issue is whether we are talking to or past each other.

Closely allied to that question is whether the citizenry we have can make sense of our system of government.  Writing to the Massachusetts Militia in 1798, John Adams made his famous observation that “[o]ur Constitution was made for a moral and religious People.  It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

Adams could assume our Constitution was made for religious people because, 18th-century Enlightenment thought notwithstanding, a critical mass of American thought still coasted along on remnants of faith and morals that ultimately came from Catholicism.  But like many other revolutionaries who claimed to be just reformers, the Founders assumed (wrongly) that the theological adjustments they made would not affect the rest of the order in which they operated.  Removing the God of Creation and Redemption and replacing Him with the real absence of Deism is not going to give you the robust God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Jesus.

That one cannot tinker “over here” without affecting “over there” was already evident with Luther.  He abandoned a real order of being and good in favor of nominalism. In that perspective, there was nothing intrinsically “good” or “evil” about “good” or “evil.”  They were merely commands that reflect God’s omnipotent will.  God goes from a Creator of reality to a divine labeler: truth is good, lying is bad.

But when people’s faith in God wanes, less-than-omnipotent men usually step into the void and, in this case, took over the divine labeling function.  From there the trip to moral relativism (and its dictatorship) is faster than you can say “intersectional gender binary safe space!”

And when the God of Providence goes on an extended vacation, leaving a windup clockmaker’s universe behind, who misses Him after a while?  It’s not God leading history; history suddenly has its own “arc” that “bends” (consciously? semi-consciously? unconsciously?) towards “justice” (meaning whatever cause du jour you want to stick that name on).

Justice William Douglas observed in Zorach v. Clauson that “[we] are a religious people whose institutions presuppose a Supreme Being.”  But what if those institutions that presuppose God are administered by and serve people who are not religious?  Does that Constitution still even make sense?

Let me offer an observation.  One way in which the American Constitution has historically been considered a masterpiece is in its checks and balances.  In many ways, the system was designed to hinder rather than help doing things.  If things were to get done, they would take time, deliberation, and effort to build consensus across a variety of interests and a diversity of principles and representation, not all of which were reducible to “one man, one vote.”

Arguably, the genius of Constitutional checks and balances had a religious origin: the doctrine of Original Sin.  The Founders wanted to check what people could do because they were aware that people are more prone to do evil rather than good, to be selfish rather than selfless.  The occasional Deist enlightenment thinker like Jefferson might have warmed to Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s illusions that civilization, not sin, warps man.  But the mainstream Founders – especially those who took their Protestantism seriously – held to a more realistic (albeit pessimistic) vision of human possibilities after the Fall.

In our day, when Original Sin is regarded as a religious superstition, history is on automatic pilot, and all dogs and people go to heaven, do checks and balances still make sense?

Are they not, rather, vestiges of “privilege” (especially for dead white American males) frustrating all the “good” things government could do if “minority rule” were not restraining it?

Is the idea that consensus has to be built not only by headcount but across geography and geographical differences, with all their local interests (the reason both the U.S. Senate and Electoral College exist) just another artifact frustrating equality and majority rule?

Is the very idea of a written Constitution that constrains what people can do today by measuring it against powers and limits devised by people long dead alien to democracy – especially when those limits are interpreted not according to current predilections but on the basis of what they meant when people put them once-upon-a-time into force?

Christianity believes in a past, present, and future.  The past – the time of the Old and New Testaments – is normative for measuring the present and sets the trajectory for the future.  But does “passing on what you have received” make sense to a generation almost irretrievably mired in the immediate present?

Can our Constitution and the system of government it frames – one that “presupposes a moral and religious People” – survive if and when Nones acquire a critical mass?

The Founders’ generation extended the life of the religious remnants informing their culture by supporting at least some amalgam of “civil religion” that looked like mainstream, nondenominational Protestantism.  That “religion” is now gone, as is the Protestant Mainline.  For various reasons, as many observers have noted, the “Catholic Moment” that might have filled that vacuum never arrived.

While there still may be time to return to these issues, the warning light is on, and the car is cruising on fumes.  Current religious trends are not encouraging. If the near total secularization of our people occurs, can our system of government – one “wholly inadequate” to a non-religious people – survive?

We may soon find ourselves testing that possibility.

U.S. District Court Judge Rules that Mask Mandates ‘Exceed the CDC’s Statutory Authority’

United States District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle ORDERED in Tampa, Florida that Mask Mandates exceed the CDC’s statutory authority. The judge stated in her ruling,

“It is indisputable that the public has a strong interest in combating the spread of [COVID-19]. In pursuit of that end, the CDC issued the Mask Mandate. But the Mandate exceeded the CDC’s statutory authority, improperly invoked the good cause exception to notice and comment rulemaking, and failed to adequately explain the decisions. Because ‘our system does not permit agencies to act unlawfully even in pursuit of desirable ends,’ the Court declares unlawful and vacates the Mask Mandate.”

As further stipulated in the Court Order (see attached full brief),

“Anyone who refuses to comply with the condition of mask wearing is-in a sense-detained or partially quarantined by exclusion from a conveyance or transportation hub under the authority of the Mask Mandate…in short, their freedom of movement is curtailed in a way similar to detention and quarantine.”

The forceable mandates imposed by the Federal Government and its’ representatives present as more punitive, restrictive, and harmful than preventative and helpful. Businesses, livelihoods, families, individual freedoms as granted per our U.S. Constitution are ignored or maliciously vacated altogether.

The attached case was brought by Attorney George Wentz of the Davillier Law Group, LLC in Sandpoint, Idaho. I was privileged to meet George a number of years ago through Arizona State Representative Mark Finchem. Mr. Wentz assisted us, and several legislators, as we addressed issues adversely impacting several First Nation Reservations; Navajo, Hopi, Gila River, et.al.. George Wentz is a phenomenal constitutional attorney and scholar, strong and directed legal counsel with a most warm and “down home” sense of humor and kindness. I have enjoyed several meetings with him over the years, and presently he represents the Hon. Mark Finchem in matters associated with election fraud and Mark’s “loss” in the 2022 Arizona Secretary of State race. Finchem received the attached brief, as he also continues to fight against the overreach of government be it federal or state. We no longer have government in many, many jurisdictions that respect the limits on governing our Forefathers stated clearly in our founding documents. Hooray for patriots like George Wentz, Mark Finchem, Kari Lake, Abe Hamedeh who refuse to bow before the altar of oppressive government.

If you are an elected official receiving the attached legal brief, I urge you to take the time and read through the court’s decision. I sense most strongly the American People are finished with the strong armed mandates forcibly pushed upon them in the name of public health and welfare. Balderdash! I sense most strongly the American People shall not lie down and comply like sheep being led to the slaughter.

Attorney George Wentz has gone to bat to protect the lives, businesses, welfare, and constitutional rights and privileges of We The People. Hooray for George Wentz who has stood up! It is time for elected officials to do the same!

Bernie Worried That Dems Are Losing Working Class And Minority Voters to GOP

Speaking Saturday at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) warned that Democrats risk losing the 2024 elections if the party continues to lose support among minority and working class voters.

“Frankly it is absolutely absurd that, given the anti-work ideology and policies of the Republican Party, that that party now has more working class support than Democrats,” Sanders said.

An April poll conducted by HarrisX found that 40% of working class Americans considered Republicans best represented their interests, compared to 36% who said the same of Democrats.

Lifelong communist Bernie added, “It should be deeply worrying that, according to recent polls, Democrats are losing support within the Latino communities and even among African American men. That has got to change, not just for the well-being of the Democratic Party, but for the future of our country.”

He continued, “The Democrats, once and for all, must reject the corporate wing of the party and empower those who will create a grassroots, multi-racial, generational, working-class party in every state of this country”:

Democrats, through words and action, must make clear that they stand with a struggling working class, a disappearing middle class, and millions of low-income Americans who today are barely surviving. They must make it clear that they are prepared to boldly take on the powerful corporate interests that have so much power in Washington and in state capitals across the country.

In my view, if Democrats are prepared to do that, they will win this election and win it comfortably. If not, frankly I am not sure what the election outcome will be. Or, for that matter, what the future of our country holds.

If Bernie thinks the Democrat Party is the party of the working class, then the 81-year-old is too senile to be in office.

Sanders Proposes 95% Tax on Business Profits

In March 2022, Sanders proposed a massive tax hike on corporations with at least $500 million in annual revenue business profits. “Companies would pay the current 21% corporate tax rate on earnings up to the amounts they recorded before the pandemic, and then have to pay a 95% rate for profits above those levels,” Bloomberg.com explained. “The total tax is capped at 75% of a company’s income in a single year.” “The American people are sick and tired of being ripped-off by corporations making record profits, while working families pay absurd prices for gas, rent and food,” Sanders said in a tweet. “The time has come for Congress to work for working families and demand that big corporations pay their fair share.”

Debunking Child Trafficking Myths in the USA & Facing the Truth

Child trafficking is a heinous violation of human rights, with many misconceptions obscuring the real issues. Let’s unpack and demystify these myths, offering a transparent lens into the truth about child trafficking in the USA.

What is Child Trafficking?

The sale and exploitation of children, often for the purposes of forced labor or sexual exploitation. It involves the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring, or receipt of minors through force, deception, or coercion. Tragically, child trafficking treats children as commodities, prioritizing profit over their well-being and fundamental rights. This heinous crime occurs globally, transcending borders and socio-economic barriers, and demands urgent attention and collective action to safeguard the vulnerable youth. Read more.

Recognizing the Signs of Child Trafficking:

  • Children traveling alone or with non-relative adults.
  • Children appearing dominated by an accompanying adult.
  • Unexplained school absences or frequent transfers.
  • History of runaways or homelessness.
  • Child labor with long hours or low pay.
  • Expensive possessions or inappropriate clothing.
  • Overcrowding or unsafe environments.
  • Tattoos or branding hinting at commercial sex trafficking.
  • Performance of sexual acts or prostitution.

Dispelling Myths:

Myth 1: Child trafficking mostly happens in developing countries.

Reality: The USA is the main source and destination for child trafficking, with an estimated annual income of $50 billion from child sex trafficking.

Myth 2: Child trafficking mostly involves kidnapping.

Reality: Trafficking methods vary, and most trafficking isn’t through abduction. Kidnapping is one of many tactics, but statistically, it’s the minority of the instances of child trafficking. Over 90% of the time, children are trafficked by family members and/or friends.

Myth 3: Trafficking victims come from low-income backgrounds.

Reality: While socio-economic vulnerabilities can play a role, children from all economic, racial, and social backgrounds can become victims of trafficking. It’s not restricted by socio-economic status, region, or neighborhood type. Traffickers often exploit areas where they believe they won’t be suspected or caught.

Myth 4: If they wanted to leave, they could.

Reality: Many assume that victims of trafficking can easily leave their situations if they wanted. However, traffickers often use manipulation, threats, violence, and other coercive tactics to control and keep their victims from seeking help.

Myth 5: Trafficking involves moving across borders.

Reality: Trafficking doesn’t always involve the transportation of victims across state or national borders. It can occur within the same state, city, or community.

Myth 6: Trafficking children can be easily identified.

Reality: The truth is, most victims are scripted and show subtle signs that may not be obvious to most. Many may overlook a child who is attending their school or church, unwitting to the harsh reality that child may be facing in their home life.

Myth 7: Law enforcement can easily spot and handle trafficking.

Reality: Trafficking cases can be complex, and specialized training is often needed to recognize and handle them appropriately.

Myth 8: Traffickers are sinister strangers:

Reality: It’s a common belief that traffickers are always unknown to the victim. In many instances, traffickers can be family members, friends, or acquaintances who exploit the trust and vulnerability of the child.

Myth 9: Child trafficking is only for sexual exploitation.

Reality: While sexual exploitation is rampant, children face trafficking for many sinister purposes, including forced labor and organ trafficking.

Myth 10: Only girls are trafficked.

Reality: Trafficking doesn’t discriminate by gender. Boys are also victims of trafficking for both sexual and labor exploitation.

Echoes of Trauma: Effects on Child Trafficking Survivors

A. Psychological Trauma:

  • Deep-rooted trauma and PTSD become a part of many trafficked children’s lives. This impacts their mental health, relationships, self worth, and perspective of the world.
  • What may seem normal or even comforting to the average person may be very off putting and even distressing for survivors. Compassion, grace, and understanding, along with quality trauma-informed therapy are paramount to supporting a survivor’s healing journey.
  • If untreated, the persistent trauma can lead to long-term mental and physical health challenges.

Read more on healing and overcoming trauma.

B. Physical Aftermath:

  • Trafficked children frequently face health complications and injuries from their experiences. Many have lasting physical symptoms even decades after the trauma.
  • Many victims were deprived of basic needs and suffered additional trauma due to subpar living conditions.
  • Survivors may take a while to get comfortable around other people, especially crowds or strangers, and feel safe in their surroundings.

Our Collective Role Against Trafficking:

  • Government Measures: Strengthen and enforce laws, amplify awareness, and establish dedicated local and federal task forces.
  • Community Vigilance: By spotting and reporting suspicious activities, communities can reduce the predator’s ability to operate and prevent countless children from trauma.
  • Personal Duty: Awareness, support, and action. Support the organizations on the front lines of the fight against child trafficking in the USA.

In Summary:

Child trafficking remains a dark shadow in our society. The myths and misunderstandings surrounding it only hinder our fight against this crime. With a better understanding and collective responsibility, we can not only raise awareness but also put an end to this atrocious act.

Act now. Dive deeper into preventative strategies in our “Tools & Education” section and stand up against child trafficking in the USA!

THE SET-UP: Biden White House Counsel Met With Jack Smith’s Special Counsel Just Weeks Before Trump Indictment

The Democrat beadledom ordered Jack Smith to have Trump indicted and arrested. White House visitor logs show that special counsel Jack Smith’s top aide met with Biden staffers just weeks before Smith’s indictment of Trump. White House visitor logs show that Jack Smith’s special counsel quietly met with the White House Counsel’s office just weeks before President Donald Trump’s indictment. The Democrat power elite gave the order to have Trump indicted and arrested. Biden is a mere figurehead, he can’t go potty by himself, let alone orchestrate so diabolical a coup on the greatest nation in human history.

They’re scheming in broad daylight, and they don’t even care.

Biden staffers met with Special Counsel Jack Smith’s aides before Trump indictment

By Jon Levine, NY Post, August 26, 2023

The White House counsel’s office met with a top aide to Special Counsel Jack Smith just weeks before he brought charges against former President Trump for allegedly mishandling classified documents — raising serious concerns about coordinated legal efforts aimed at President Biden’s likely opponent in 2024.

Jay Bratt, who joined the special counsel team in November 2022, shortly after it was formed, took a meeting in the White House on March 31, 2023, with Caroline Saba, deputy chief of staff for the White House counsel’s office, White House visitor logs show.

They were joined in the 10 a.m. meeting by Danielle Ray, an FBI agent in the Washington field office.

Nine weeks later, Trump was indicted by Smith’s office on June 8, 2023.

Bratt, 63, also met with Saba at the White House in November 2021, when Trump was mired in negotiations with the National Archives, who were demanding the return of presidential records from his Mar-a-Lago estate before a formal investigation had not yet been opened.

Saba, who is not an attorney, left the White House in May to attend law school.

Jay Bratt, a top aide to special counsel Jack Smith met with the White House counsel’s office just weeks before Trump was indicted. DOJ

Bratt had a third meeting in the White House in September 2021, this time with Katherine Reily, an advisor to the White House chief of staff’s office.

The logs offer no information about what was discussed at the meetings.

Critics and legal experts questioned why Bratt was taking meetings at all with the White House counsel’s office while part of an active investigation into President Biden’s likely 2024 Republican opponent.

“There is no legitimate purpose for a line [DOJ] guy to be meeting with the White House except if it’s coordinated by the highest levels,” said former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a one-time top federal prosecutor in the Southern District.

The Number of Migrants with Suspected Terror Ties Entering U.S. Increased 15% in One Month

What could possibly go wrong? It’s a religion of peace!

Border encounters of migrants with suspected terror ties jumped 15% last month

by Nicholas Ballasy, Just The News, August 22, 2023:

The number of migrants with suspected terror ties encountered at U.S. “land border ports of entry” increased 15% in one month, according to the latest U.S. Customs and Border Protection data.

A total amount of individuals who appear on the terrorist watchlist caught at ports of entry jumped from 382 to 442 after CBP publicly released its July 2023 operational data. So far into fiscal year 2023, 70 have been caught at the southwest border and 372 have been caught at the northern border.

This represents the highest amount for this category, formally referred to as Terrorist Screening Dataset (TSDS), since fiscal year 2020.

The number of individuals on the terrorist watchlist encountered “between ports of entry” rose from 143 to 149 so far into fiscal year 2023, according to the latest data. Of the 149 total, 146 have been encountered at the southwest border and 3 have been encountered at the northern border, which is the highest amount for this category of encounters since at least fiscal year 2017, the earliest year on the CBP data chart.

California Republican Rep. Darrell Issa pressed Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on the status of the suspected terrorists encountered at the U.S. border during a House Judiciary Committee hearing in July.

Issa asked Mayorkas how many suspected terrorists have been deported, put in jail or released but Mayorkas didn’t answer. Instead, he vowed to provide the information to Issa at a later date. When reached by Just the News, Issa’s office said it had not received that information yet, almost 1 month since the hearing took place….
