Ninety-six days after the death of Osama bin Laden by SEAL Team Six, an old Vietnam era Army Reserve helicopter, call sign “Extortion 17,” was shot down in the Wardak Province, Tangi River Valley, Afghanistan on Aug 6, 2011. On board the Chinook CH-47D were 15 members of SEAL Team Six, 15 SEAL Team Six Support personnel, 1 Bomb Dog, 7 unidentified members of the Afghan National Army, and 1 unidentified Afghani interpreter.

Currently, all autopsy reports are being held and sealed by the U.S. military. Three autopsies have been acquired by our private investigators revealing that there were bullets found in the bodies of one U.S. Navy Seal Team Six member and one U.S. Special Operations Support serviceman. The Autopsy reports list these deaths as homicides.

Two of the autopsy reports state the bullets, “recovered at autopsy were not retained because they are of no evidentiary value” and the bullets were subsequently thrown away.

Extortion 17, Obama’s Sacrificial Lamb

No loss is acceptable because of a rules-of-engagement failure, but Extortion 17 is the Mother of all Failures, yet most Americans don’t know about it. 30 of our finest servicemen, including 17 US Navy SEALs.” -Don Brown, author Extortion 17

After the killing of bin Laden, before Benghazi, was the shoot down of Extortion 17 by Islamic jihadists. The call sign had been given to the CH-47D helicopter and the mission dubbed, “Lefty Grove”. It occurred in the early morning hours of August 6, 2011 in the Taliban stronghold along the Tangi River Valley, Wardak Province, Afghanistan.

Some say the incident was a sacrificial offering by the Obama administration to Islamic terrorists for the U.S. killing bin Laden. On board this flight were most of the members of  Seal Team 6 who were responsible for taking out the founder of al-Qaeda.

The crash that day signified the largest loss in Naval Special Warfare, as well as single day loss since the war on Islamic terrorism was declared. No matter the motive, it is clear that the mission was compromised from the start, and too many red flags have been raised concerning the details of their mission as to dismiss foul play.

Several of the concerns are the following:

  1. The elite group was placed on a sub-standard helicopter versus traveling in a MH-47, which was typical.
  2. No return fire was allowed even after the circling CH47 sees Taliban moving into the landing zone. At that time they were flanked by to Apaches, all were denied permission to take out the enemy. A stand down order was given.
  3. No suppressive fire was offered to protect Extortion 17 while flying into a region where a 3 1/2 hour operation had been underway already, even though an AC 130 gunship was  available.
  4. The flight manifest was not changed, but a last minute swap of  7 Afghan security forces and 1 Afghan translator was made, an unusual happening in itself. So, there was no way of knowing who may have compromised the flight or tipped off the Taliban as far as location of the chopper. The identities of the Afghans are still not known.

If our rules of engagement were constructed in order to protect our soldiers instead of handcuff them, our brave men would all be alive today. The “stand down” order is proving lethal to our military.

Even after the incident, a disturbing and outrageous thing happened at the memorial service of these men at the Bagram Airbase before their bodies were flown back to the U.S.  During the ramp ceremony, a Muslim Imam prayed over the bodies of the Americans, once translated it seemed to have damned their souls to hell. At a 2013 Washington D.C. press conference, Lt. General Jerry Boykin stated,

“What I’m concerned about is that we had an Imam, praying over the bodies of our soldiers, is an indicator that we don’t know who the enemy is, we don’t know the enemies’ doctrine, his theology, or what motivates him.”

General Boykin however, is well aware of those facts of Islamic doctrine and has been a leader in educating others about the dangers of it.  Now the Islamic ideology is in our face day in and day out, but what should alarm many is that the more clear the motives of this enemy, the more the administration and leftists showcase their affinity for those practicing and adhering to it within our country.

Representative Louis Ghomert, Tx states,

“When the families were briefed, one of the father’s of one of the Seal team said, ‘Why didn’t you just send a drone if it was such a hot area.’ And the Admiral stated, ‘Because we are trying to win the hearts and minds.’ ”

Billy Vaughn, father of Aaron Vaughn, one of the fallen Navy Seals, emotionally stated in the same press conference,

“Aaron Vaughn did not become a Navy Seal, Team 6 Gold Squad, to win the hearts and minds of the Islamic Jihadists. He became a Navy Seal to fight for this republic and defeat the enemy. And I’ll tell you right now any American flag officer that does not want to defeat the enemy, needs to find another job.”

The families of the fallen deserve to hear answers to their questions from the government. In addition, the Rules of Engagement must be changed to free our soldiers from debilitating regulations that continue to give a conquerable enemy an unfair advantage instead of providing our warriors with support to gain a crushing victory.

A documentary is being made about Extortion 17, called Fallen Angel. The intention is to raise awareness of the faulty ROEs, and in turn put pressure on our legislators and top military leaders to change them for the better. Please watch Fallen Angel: The Shoot Down of SEAL Team 6:

As the Executive Producer of the new movie Fallen Angel – the cover-up of the shoot-down of SEAL Team Six which investigates the deaths of 30 U.S. special forces units in Afghanistan (the largest single day loss of life of SEALs in US History) I interviewed Admiral Ace Lyons former Commander-in-chief U.S. Pacific Fleet.

Admiral Lyons states the shoot-down of SEAL Team SIX was a “Dereliction of Duty” and further states that the Obama/Clinton restrictive Rules of Engagement also directly led to the deaths of 30 of our nations finest warriors.

According to Don Brown, former U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer and author of “Call Sign Extortion 17 – the Shoot-Down of SEAL Team Six” states that under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) Dereliction of Duty in wartime situations is an extremely serious charge and is punishable by death.

Lyon’s joins other top military officers such as former Delta Force commander LTG Jerry Boykin, former head of NORAD Alaska LTG Thomas McInerney, MG Paul Vallely (ret), LTC Allen West former US congressman, and many other top military analyst who believe that the deaths of 15 members of SEAL Team Six on August 6th 2011 in Afghanistan is a massive Clinton/Obama cover-up that is far bigger than Benghazi.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff has been sitting idly by without resigning in protest, while for over 4 years, Obama effectively fired over 200 of the brightest battle tested flag and general officers and senior officers.

The Chairman didn’t resign, in protest, when Obama refused to issue “Cross Border Authority”, thereby preventing the US Military from launching a rescue mission to attack the 125 to 150 Al Q’ieda terrorists, in their rehearsed and coordinated commando attack on the U.S. Mission in Benghazi, killing 2 US Navy SEALS who could have been easily saved.  Dempsey covered up the fact that armed Air Force F-16s in Aviona, Italy, 480 miles away, sitting on the tarmac on “Awareness Alert” were less than 2 hours of flight time away from Benghazi, and if they were launched and simply broke the sound barriers above the attacker’s, the attackers would have scattered and they would have saved the lives of the two Navy SEALs..

For over 4 years the Chairman has sat idly by without resigning as he watched civilian appointees of the Obama administration restrict the “Freedom of Religion” of members of the U.S. Armed Forces by restricting the issue of bibles, preventing Chaplains from exercising their ”Freedom of Speech” in the pulpit reading letters from their Cardinals to their parishioners, forced Chaplains to allow same sex marriages in their Chapels in violation of their deepest held religious beliefs, forced commanding officers of various military bases to order the Color Guards of the US Armed Forces to march in gay pride parades in violation of US Military Regulations, which prevents military personnel in uniform from participating in any political activities at all.

Just before Admiral Mullen relinquished Command of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to General Dempsey, he instituted new and “very dangerous” Rules Of Engagement (ROE) that have been responsible for increasing U.S. military Killed In Action (KIA) by 458%, and Wounded In Actions (WIA) by 358% in Afghanistan (The daily casualty statistics in Afghanistan that President Bush promulgated are no longer being promulgated by Obama).  Those very dangerous ROE, that heroic US military personnel must operate under, were responsible for permitting the downing by the Taliban of a CH-47 Chinook helicopter call sign Extortion 17 in the Tangi Valley of Afghanistan using an RPG.  That occurred, because the request for suppression fire to prepare the landing zone was turned down because of ROE—34 Military personnel including 17 members of SEAL Team SIX were killed because of those new and dangerous ROE.  Even after the largest single casualty figures in one operation in the Afghan conflict,  Dempsey did not change ROEs to save the lives of US military personnel.

The Chairman didn’t resign in protest, but instead presided over the reckless unilateral  “hollowing out” of the U.S. Armed Forces, bringing it down to very dangerous levels below those of the US Military prior to WWII, while the US Armed Forces are engaged in combat operations in Afghanistan and in combat in the worldwide war on terrorism.  Obama is hollowing out the US military, while China, Russia, and Iran are building up their military strength.   Weakness emboldens aggression. such as we have witnessed and are witnessing in Crimea, Ukraine, Libya, Iraq, Iran, China, Afghanistan, Syria, and Palestine..

The Social Experiment On Diversity forced upon the U.S. Armed Forces by civilian appointees of the Obama administration at DOD without Dempsey’s resignation, to object,  is responsible for a decrease in moral, the degrading of tip of the spear units by degrading the strength requirements, the loss of some of the finest Service Academy graduates after their first 5 year commitments are completed, and the sexually assaults on 14,000 young straight males in one year (read the Annual Report on Sexual Assault in the Military–May 2013). These facts are closely guarded secrets by the Chairman, in order not to alarm US citizens.

The Chairman was complicit, by not resigning, when Obama freed the 5 most dangerous terrorist in the world who were imprisoned in Guantanamo, Cuba in exchange for an Army deserter.  According to the members of the deserter’s platoon, he was serving with in Afghanistan, he was accused of desertion in the face of the enemy, and the deserter put his fellow soldiers at risk when they were requited to search for him.  Not one of the deserter’s platoon mates has been interviewed by the Army, but they have been interviewed by the press.  The deserter has not been court-martialed for desertion, and he will probably be set free by orders from Dempsey.    .

Now the Chairman has written an article for Foreign Policy titled “The Bend of Power: How the U.S. military can overcome the challenges of complexity in a rapidly changing world.” This article is right in step with President Obama’s double talk.

The Washington Free Beacon editorial staff writes:

Written in a slick, corporate-sounding, richly euphemistic style, the average reader may be left wondering just what, precisely, the point of the article is. Who could disagree with such comments as “a new century [has] brought new dangers,” or, “In each region of the world, we face serious—but very different—security challenges”?

It would have received an “F”, if some of the professors I knew at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C. or the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, RI were to grade it.

What would former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General George Marshal, General Omar Bradley, Admiral Arthur Radford, General Maxwell Taylor, or Admiral Thomas Moorer have to say about that article, and about the above practices that have severely damage unit cohesiveness, unit moral and the “Combat Effectiveness” of the US Armed Forces. under Dempsey?
