Irony: If Jill Stein had not run Hillary could have been the President-elect

ZeroHedge reports:

In a letter penned by Green Party Senate Candidate Margaret Flowers, and signed by dozens of prominent GPUS members, the Greens have rebelled against the farcical “recount effort” conducted by Jill Stein, saying “while we support electoral reforms, including how the vote is counted, we do not support the current recount being undertaken by Jill Stein.”

According to the CNN final vote tally it appears that Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate, may have kept Hillary Clinton from winning the White House.

Here are the numbers for the recount states where Stein was on the ballot:

Wisconsin:

(W) Trump – 1,403,694

Clinton – 1,380,823

Stein – 30,934

Difference – 22,871

Pennsylvania:

(W) Trump – 2,912,941

Clinton – 2,844,705

Stein – 48,912

Difference – 68, 236

Michigan:

(W) Trump – 2,279,805

Clinton – 2,268,193

Stein – 50,700

Difference – 11,612

Had Stein not been on the ballot in the above three state an automatic recount would have happened.

Other close states that could have done a recount had Stein not been on the ballot:

Florida:

(W) Trump – 4,605,515

Clinton – 4,485,745

Stein – 64,019

Difference – 119,770

Maine:

(W) Clinton – 354,873

Trump – 334,838

Stein – 14,075

Difference – 20,035

Had Stein not been on the ballot of these states the margin between the two candidates would have have forced a recount (especially in Florida). Therefore, Stein hurt Hillary Clinton’s chance to become the President of the United States.

Ironic isn’t it.
