VIDEO: Vice President Mike Pence remarks at CPAC 2017

In 55 BC Marcus Tullius Cicero said,

“The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed, lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work instead of living on public assistance.”

On February 23rd, 2017 Vice President Mike Pence took the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor, Maryland.

He declared that “our time is now” and noted that this is crucial period in the conservative movement.

Pence assured the crowd that President Donald Trump’s answers are the right answers for America—a strong military, more jobs, less taxes, respect for the Constitution, the end to illegal immigration and a rollback of big government. In short, he said that America’s best days are yet to come and it’s time to get to work.

Marcus Tullius Cicero also said, “Just as the soul fills the body, so God fills the world. Just as the soul bears the body, so God endures the world. Just as the soul sees but is not seen, so God sees but is not seen. Just as the soul feeds the body, so God gives food to the world. A man of courage is also full of faith.”
