VIDEO BY: ‘The Unsilent Minority’ on Leaving the Democratic Party #WalkAway

The Unsilent Minority posted the commentary and video below on its Facebook page:

Today I’m kicking off the #WalkAway campaign by releasing my video about why I am walking away from liberalism and the Democratic Party. It is my sincere hope that you will join me in this campaign and that we may start a movement in this country- which not only encourages others to walk away from the divisive left, but also takes back the narrative from the liberal media about what it means to be a conservative in America. It is up to all of us to make our voices heard and reclaim the truth.

The Democratic Party has taken for granted that it owns racial, sexual, and religious minorities in America. It has encouraged groupthink, hypocrisy, division, stereotyping, resentment, and the acceptance of victimhood mentality. And all the while, they have discouraged minorities from having independent thought, open dialogue, measured and informed opinion, and a motivation to succeed.

Please like and share my video, and please post your own #WalkAway video!! If you are a former liberal who has walked away from the left, please share your story, or your message, or your thoughts in a video on the WalkAway Campaign Facebook Page.

If you are a lifelong conservative or non-Democrat, please share your story, message, or thoughts on what it truly means to be a conservative. Right now, the liberal media continues to perpetuate a false narrative about the “hateful” and “bigoted” right. Use your voice to let people know who conservatives really are. Be sure to use the hashtag #WalkAway.

The Unsilent Minority wrote:

Since my video was released 3 weeks ago I have gained over 20,000 followers. And yet, the#WalkAway Campaign group Page has less than 4,000 members. And of that less than 4K members- probably about 10 have created #WalkAway videos. The purpose of this campaign is not only to provide encouragement and support for people on the left were ready to walk away, but for people on the right to change the narrative that has been stolen by the left about what it means to be a conservative. It’s an opportunity for the silent majority to become unsilent and tell minorities on the left that they are welcome on the right.

Are you waiting for somebody else do do it for you? Are you more worried about how you look on video than you are about losing America?

If the blue wave comes, and America is lost, will you be happy that you didn’t speak up???

Welcome to conservatism. I’ve been this way all my life. The first time I registered to vote, I was asked if I wanted to register as a democrat or a republican. I didn’t know the difference (yes, I was sheltered). When I asked what the difference was, I was told that republicans were conservative and the democrats always wanted change. Still unsure, I registered republican because I knew I would start listening and find out what I needed to know. And I very soon did. This was many years ago, before technology. All I had was television, the newspapers and the library. I’ve never changed my registration; though I’ve threatened to go libertarian a few times.

Being “young & stupid” when I first registered to vote in the early 60’s, I registered as a Democrat because I liked donkeys more than elephants. (Remember, I said “young & stupid”) It took a few years but I finally learned the vast differences of the parties and am proud to be a true, RED-blooded, Republican American”.

I have voted Democrat, Republican and Libertarian.
When voting for President, I choose a person Who I truly loves this Nation and our Constition
    And who has leadership qualities.
I am encouraged to know there are Democrats in our midst who are disenchanted with the liberal/socialists who have taken over the Party. Do not let them destroy you.

I am an Independent, but both parents were democrats. I learned early on, while raising my 2 children, that the Democratic Party was a party of destruction as I witnessed them tearing families apart with their so-called help. Back then, families were systematically destroyed as they mandated that in order to be “helped”, by receiving welfare, there could NOT be a man living in the house. I was divorced, and although I was not receiving child support, I was lucky enough to realize what the government’s involvement meant and choose to raise my children on my own. Sadly, through their continued policies against Americans, the Democratic Party’s greed has grown and they now see themselves as TOO BIG TO FAIL. The proof of this is HRC. I know our president is giving them all a run for their money and that someone up there approves because he is being helped along by forces unavailable to them. Of this, I am sure. Much good has happened on President Trump’s watch, but the corrupt mainstream media continues to bare false witness against him. I am now hopeful that you are now one more sign that we, as a country for the people and by the people, will be fighting to remain on the right path. Welcome, and thank you!

Amen I’m a victim of the Democratic Party telling me and Planned Parenthood agreeing that “it is just tissue”. This was back in the early 70’s and after having an abortion finding out the truth and knowing what I did has given me much to be on my knees about. Now this infanticide is EVEN WORSE”. I had to find truth and I found it in the Republican Party. Not perfect for sure but God has His hand on President Trump and I don’t worry too much but try to speak out. I think my 32 yr old daughter won’t talk to us (her Mom and Dad) and I think it’s about politics. What a shame but I know who I count on for peace and comfort and just try to be patient. I wish there was a way to get her and her husband to listen to this video. Keep up the work and I will keep you all in my prayers.

President Trump has made some silly and even horrible comments. To which make him a brutally honest President, I don’t believe, however any are divisive or racist, yet the mainstream media puts a spin that makes it look that way and everyone follows like sheep, afraid or to lazy to do their own research. Good for you Brandon for being an intelligent and curious young man to go out and get the truth yourself. No party is perfect. But has anyone noticed since Obama has been out of office some of the groups like “Black Lives Matter and Antifa have dissipated. Who was really trying to divide this country? Obama and HRC started it. I don’t see Potus giving into that rhetoric.
