VIDEO: Pat Condell on ‘The Anti-American Dream’

In this short Pat Condell YouTube video he laments how social media has become the authors of the “Anti-American Dream.” Condell writes:

The quickest way to create a captive society is to educate children to hate their own freedom. Nobody’s feelings were consulted during the making of this video. Anyone who has a problem with that can drop dead.

Benjamin Franklin, upon exiting at the close of the Constitutional Convention of 1787, as he left Independence Hall on the final day of deliberation, was asked, “Well, Doctor, what have we got—a Republic or a Monarchy?” Franklin responded, “A Republic, if you can keep it.”

The dream of our Founding Fathers was to have limited government and to place the power of self-governance upon a moral people. Moral people do not need laws because they do the right thing without being told to do so.

Freedom does not mean doing whatever makes you fell good. Freedom means doing what is morally right. Maybe the social media giants would learn what freedom of speech means if they read the Bible and the U.S. Constitution?

but it’s even worse than he says.
the people pushing the PC – Victimhood – Oppression narrative are not stupid. they are very deliberately inculcating the feelings of shame and self-hate upon the very people who have created the greatest civilized society Mankind has ever witnessed.

many people today only feel empowered when they have found something to HATE. that is the degenerate purpose to which these people cling. They exist only to express outrage and disgust and malevolence and something – anything. and the popular target of hatred today is America – Capitalism – Freedom – and anything sullied by the hands of the Patriarchal White Male Culture of Slavery and Dominion.
I much prefer to be empowered by the things I LOVE.
I much prefer to be empowered by gratitude.
Not that I don’t understand the other side. I was there once. A long time ago I learned the word “misanthrope”. and I embraced it as the perfect adjective for me.
Yes, I had come under the sway of the Anti-Crowd. i hated everything.
thankfully, I have come to know that Love is the power of creation, and Hate is the power of destruction.
Really, it is an easy choice.
