The whole “all the world resources will be depleted and ww3 will start” is total hogwash. There are oil reserves that have been sucked dry for decades and somehow were found to be replenished again. There are natural bacterias underground that create biogas like methane. Shale/oil is no different–it seems very possible oil can be generated by natural microbes deep underground.
