Misinformation is false or inaccurate information, especially that which is deliberately intended to deceive.

Disinformation is a subset of propaganda and is defined as false information that is spread deliberately to deceive people.

Malinformation or malicious information is having or showing a desire to cause harm to someone; given to, marked by, or arising from malice or malicious gossip.

In this Misinformation Watch article to expose mis, dis and malinformation we look at act.tv and democrats.com.

We received an email from Bob Fertik from act.tv (email: info@votedem.org). Here’s the text of Fertik’s email,

“Sedition” is defined as the act of trying to overthrow the government, and for too long people guilty of trying to wage war on the government are still running it.

People who invade the Capitol should not hold elected office. So long as Trump and his fellow violent seditionists remain at large, no one in America is truly safe. Call upon Congress to lock them up.

Trump and his cronies were violating American Democracy long before they encouraged their armed lackeys to literally invade the government. If there are no consequences, they will push further and further until something breaks.

Let’s not wait a second more to hold these seditionists responsible for their attack on the Capitol: Call upon all elected officials who encouraged the January 6th to be charged and removed from our governing body immediately.

Jocelyn Macurdy Keatts

Washington Director, act.tv

From this email it appears that act.tv is the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party and is not a news organization but rather an activist organization bent on spreading malinformation. The postscript to the email states,

act.tv is a project of Democrats.com, the oldest and largest independent online community of Democratic Party and progressive activists.

Keatts in the email states that those who rallied in Washington, D.C. on January 6th, 2021 and President Donald J. Trump are “violent seditionists.” To date the “series of five scheduled hearings by the United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack” has not charged anyone with sedition. In fact the committee is miss named by using the word “attack.”

In fact, there was no planned attack, there was a peaceful rally that made its way to the U.S. Capital building and some members of the rally were allowed into the building by the Capital Police. It is also true that four unarmed rally members were shot inside the Capital building, yet no one has been charged with murders of any of these individuals to date.

Who is Jocelyn Macurdy Keatts?

Jocelyn Macurdy Keatts besides being the Washington Director of act.tv is a contributor to the the Huffington Post.

In 2020 Jocelyn Macurdy Keatts did an act.tv show titled “Yes, the Cops are Intentionally Murdering Black People.” This show has now been taken down by act.tv.

Keatts has two articles listed on act.tv:

  1. I Was Raised Outside of Charlottesville- Here’s What’s True written August 16th, 2017 and published by Keatts who was the Huffington Post’s Political and Psychology Research Fellow in Washington, D.C. and
  2. Can We Stop Love Shaming Women, Already? written on June 13th, 2016 and also published in the Huffington Post.

In her article I Was Raised Outside of Charlottesville- Here’s What’s True Keatts ending with this statement,

This fight is multifaceted. It will be won on the streets, in the ballot box, and in our communities. Most viable, though, is the fight that will be won within ourselves- on the day when all of us, in all sincerity, can find peace with our own darkness, and not transmute it into the basest forms of cowardice, barbarism, and contempt.

In here article Can We Stop Love Shaming Women, Already? Keatts wrote,

So screw the patriarchy. Be the best parts of yourself — and sometimes even the worst ones. And yes, totally: do yoga, go running, be nice to your co workers, and try not to be an alcoholic. Chase the best woman you can be, and chase her for your own benefit. Make it about you, and your loved ones, and whatever God you choose to believe in. Be sane, but if you can’t be, don’t worry about it all that much. You’re going to get called crazy anyways.

The Bottom Line

WATCH: Never before seen footage of two women killed on January 6th allegedly by police. The Unselect Committee omitted this footage from their presentation during hearings on June 10th, 2022 even though it was shot by their star witness Nick Quested.

The facts show that the only people murdered, arrested and held in prison on and after January 6th were peaceful protestors who were invited into the U.S. capital building by the Capital Police and others. While there was damage done to the Capital building nothing indicates that it was those who attended the rally, nor Trump supporters in general.

It’s not enough that Democrats control the major media and social media outlets. They have to have their own propaganda arm, i.e. act.tv, to push mis, dis and malinformation about January 6th.

I’m a registered Republican and yet I got on their email list. How does that happen?

You guessed it, someone sold my email address to democrats.com and act.tv.

Gird your loins. The midterm elections are approaching and I expect to receive more mis, dis and malinformation from the likes of democrats.com and act.tv.
