Florida School Board Member ID’s 75 Books with Pornographic or Inappropriate Material in Library

More than 70 books with pornographic and overly sexual content were discovered in a Florida school’s library, according to a concerned mother and school board member.

Ashley Gilhousen, a Clay County School District board member, is calling for “disciplinary action” for whoever is responsible for allowing children to be exposed to pornographic material.

“I don’t think there’s any justification for it,” Gilhousen told Fox News. “And I can tell you my own research in our school library so far I’ve identified 75 books that I’m working to challenge to get off of ourselves.”

In an interview with Fox, Gilhousen presented a series of examples of books that were available to children at the school.

One of the books, “Lawn Boy” by Jonathan Evison describes a boy who remembers participating in oral sex as a 10 year old.

“I’m disgusted that anybody would think that that’s appropriate material to have in a school library,” Gilhousen, who is a mom of three boys, said. “There needs to be disciplinary action for anybody who offers this kind of material to a child.”

Gilhousen also described some of the literature in the library as “politically driven agenda-type books.”

“Julian is a Mermaid,” a book found by the school board member, is recommended for elementary school children and regarded as an introduction to gender fluidity.

The story features a boy who puts on lipstick and jewelry then goes to an NYC mermaid festival where he can finally express himself.

16 Books were idendentified in K-12 media centers in the Polk County Public School District and challenged by conservative members and leaders of the County Citizens Defending Freedom (CCDF); the Winter Haven 912 Group and a few church members. These books were considered age inappropriate, pornographic, obsence and/or in violation of FL Statutes.

The end result is our cowardly School Board refused to vote on what to do and left it up to our leftist Superintendent of Schools and his Staff to decide on a course of action. That course of action was to remove the books from media center shelves but still make them available to students thru an Opt-In procedure where parents had to approve or an Opt-Out when they did not approve.

This procedure still violates FL Statutes except where 18 year old students are involved and should not be allowed. There is a full blown effort by the small but very vocal LGTBQMxyz community to allow full access to these books and for what reason? The obvious one is to help groom and indoctrinate our children towards acceptance of sexual deviancy; gender neutrality and an immoral agenda designed to breaks down the nuclear family. .

This LGBTMQxyz movement is going on even in conservative counties in FL like Polk as well as all over the nation and needs to be stopped. They deserve no special rights based on their sexuality. Parents, Grandparents and concerned citizens need to fight back and are doing so. Don’t fear the unlawful Attorney General Merritt Garland attempting to intimidate Americans from exercising their 1st Amendment rights at School Board meetings by labeling them domestic terrorists and Sicking the FBI on them.

If you want a complete list of these books and to read excerpts identified in them as inappropriate go to the Florida Citizens Alliance Web site floridacitizensalliance.org

Unfortunately pornography is a National problem, it was reported that 85% of all porn is produced in the U.S A.
We too are fighting to remove this material from Polk County FL public schools system.

How is this: “I’m working to challenge to get off of our s[h]elves”, clearer than this: “I’m working to challenge to get off our s[h]elves”
The common American habit of the unnecessary ‘of’?

We need to keep exposing this agenda. At the same time we need to push back on Jesus being shoved in the corner. We keep being conditioned to a false narrative.

In Polk we have secured a victory in the area of inappropriate materials being available to kids in our schools however I have long suspected there are many more that have yet to be discovered. I feel that people now wrongly feel that the school libraries are now cleaned up and the problem solved….
