Elon Musk is now reportedly in charge of Twitter as the sale of the company has now been finalized and the company’s top executives are no longer with the company.

Musk fired CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, and Vijaya Gadde, head of legal policy, trust, and safety, The Washington Post reported. The report said Musk also fired the company’s general counsel, Sean Edgett.

Business Insider reported that Musk’s acquisition of the company was finalized Thursday evening as the company’s stock was purchased for $54.20 per share in a deal worth $44 billion.

Oct 26 (Reuters) – Billionaire Elon Musk said on Wednesday he was entering Twitter Inc’s San Francisco office, days ahead of a court-ordered deadline to close his $44 billion deal for the social media platform.

Musk tweeted, “Entering Twitter HQ – let that sink in!”

Earlier in the day, Musk teased being the top boss of Twitter, after he updated his profile’s bio to “Chief Twit”.

Twitter did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
