Over 200 former Generals and Admirals endorse President Donald J. Trump

John,
I think your assessment below is 100% percent accurate and is why our military is now so woke and has lost its prestige and ability to strike fear in the hearts of our enemies around the world. It is my view that we now can’t fight our way out of a wet paper bag and are a joke especially at the top.
Just look at the Afghan withdrawal fiasco; the new Marine strategy to fight with small, isolated units on islands rather than keep their amphibious assault capabilities to secure beachheads; the Navy ineptness firing $4 M ship to air missiles against $400 Houthi drones and lack of combat ships; the Air Force’s very poor combat aircraft readiness rates; the Armies piss poor recruiting and retention rate and there are many, many more examples of total leadership failures.
Also the de-emphasis on real manly warriors considered to be “toxic masculinity” while supporting the LGBTQ+ agenda; emphasis on climate change, CRT, DEI and placing unqualified females in every close combat position as opposed to combat readiness and ability to deploy.
And then there are the politicized, incompetent “leaders” at the top – Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Chair JCS CQ Brown among many others who are Obama/Biden clones.
No way I will recommend any young person join today’s military in any capacity.
Royal,
This is a good sign after a few flag officers Stanley McChrystal and that worm Marine General (Can’t remember his name) came out for Harris.
But the fact remains that we now have a bunch of senior officers 06 – 10 who are worthless. We even have a couple that are queers / trannies.
Believe me. During my last few years working with the Mission Command Training Program (Previously the Battle Command Training Program), I saw the degradation of the General Officers assigned as Division and Corps commanders. As the “Battle Summary Analyst”, I got to see the total maneuver fuckups these guys made that a good Captain would not have done.
Yet, I was not allowed to use certain words like “retreat” or “withdrawal” in my narrative of the battle. Even when a commander obviously made a serious tactical blunder.
The final AAR was all peaches and cream. Everybody got a big star on their report cards.
Our military is in worse shape than people realize. And that goes from top to bottom.
That’s my assessment. I hope I’m wrong.
Regards,
John
200+ fmr. generals, admirals endorse Trump
October 02, 2024, Timothy Frudd • American Military News
Over 200 retired U.S. military generals and admirals signed a letter on Monday endorsing former President Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.
In a letter released on Monday by Flag Officers 4 America, more than 200 retired military leaders announced they were endorsing Trump for president, claiming he is “a proven leader who will secure our border, repulse our adversaries, revitalize our economy, and keep America safe and strong.”
The retired military leaders described the upcoming November election as the “most important election” since the founding of America.
The retired generals and admirals warned, “We are at a historic crossroad where we must either choose to stand for our Constitution and its underlying traditional values which have made America great, or we continue down the path the current administration’s top leadership is taking into the deadly abyss of socialism and authoritarian cultural Marxism.”
In Monday’s letter, the retired military leaders argued that the Democratic Party has divided Americans through a “cultural war,” while foreign enemies have promoted anti-Semitic and anti-American actions on college campuses across the country. The retired military leaders also warned that the United States could soon be “drawn into a war across multiple theaters with peer and near-peer adversaries, and it could lose.”
The endorsement letter added, “As the Administration imposes divisive social engineering programs embodied in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the expense of warfighting readiness, China, Iran, Russia, North Korea, and global terrorists are rapidly expanding their capabilities and aggressiveness. This did not happen during Donald Trump’s presidency.”
In Monday’s letter, the retired military leaders listed multiple political policies and actions that they claimed have left the United States in a “perilous situation,” including the southern border crisis caused by open border policies, the poor condition of the economy caused by inflation and other policies, and the physical and mental condition of the commander-in-chief, which they claim Harris “deliberately concealed” from the American people.
The retired military leaders suggested that the current national security threats facing the United States can be reversed by new policies. As a result, the retired generals and admirals wrote, “We endorse Donald J. Trump for president based on his proven national security track record. His policies, coupled with his ability to implement them in the face of opposition, worked before and will work again.”
The retired generals and admirals concluded by asking Americans to consider whether America’s national security is weaker or stronger than it was four years ago. “The answer is clear,” they wrote. “We urge our fellow Americans to join us in supporting the election of Donald J. Trump for president. Our future is at stake.”
