SHARE THIS PSA: Illegals Voting is a Crime!

Noncitizens are not allowed to vote in federal elections in the United States, as it is strictly illegal for them to both register to vote and to vote in federal elections.

While you may have heard that some localities permit noncitizens to vote in certain local elections like school board elections in San Francisco, it is 100% illegal for noncitizens to vote in federal elections.

That means that if you are not a U.S. citizen trying to vote in the presidential election, or in congressional or U.S. Senate elections — that is a serious crime with serious penalties attached. Voting in a federal election when you are not a U.S. Citizen can result in a large fine, and one year in federal prison.

Additionally, a noncitizen found voting in a federal election or even falsely claiming U.S. Citizenship to register to vote in a federal election also faces immediate deportation and revocation of any legal status that they may have — and denial of any future immigration or citizenship status.

So while there may be some political activists who would like to trick you into voting for their candidate of choice, they obviously don’t care about you and are endangering your legal and immigration status, and they could end up getting you locked away in prison as well as having to pay a huge fine, and then also being deported with no right to ever return. So if you’re not an official U.S. Citizen, don’t let selfish political activists trick you into registering to vote or into voting in a federal election in the U.S.

Obviously, all U.S. Citizens may register to vote and actually vote, but non-citizens may not do either.
