New Female Commanding Officer of NAS Pensacola. Waiver for Bodyfat Standards?
Capt. Chandra “Mamasan” Newman, is Naval Air Station’s (NAS) Pensacola’s first woman to serve as commanding officer.
I can see she has a lot of participation trophy ribbons on her chest and she probably took the day off when it was time for her body fat measurements for the U.S. Navy’s annual Physical Readiness Test. (PRT)
As the former Command Physical Readiness Coordinator for Naval Air Station Sigonella, Sicily I was responsible for 1,200 military personnel. I personally checked the body fat measurements of all the officers including the Skipper and XO.
This new “first woman at the helm’ of NAS Pensacola certainly does not meet the body fat measurements to assume command of NAS Pensacola in my humble opinion, but then again DEI is running full speed ahead.
Maybe she should get a new command photo taken when she is not so bloated minus all the “I showed up for work on time” ribbons.
