Thanksgiving and A Call to Arms
We are sincerely blessed to have been born in this exceptional nation given to us as a gift, if we would keep it. While there is evidence demonstrating the diabolical work a number of well positioned public officials have taken to destroy the gift of this Republic, the underestimation of God’s Hand still on America is incredibly real for those who have eyes to see. How far we have come from the days when schools, businesses, communities, elected officials and even churches were not at all hesitant to publicly proclaim the Lord He is God, and it is He who reigns over this nation and directed into position by men and women who did not hesitate to place Him first over the affairs of this budding nation.
As we approach Thanksgiving, may we approach with sincere gratitude in our hearts for the many blessings (large and small) we can proclaim personally, familial and clearly giving America another chance to cooperate with the plans the Lord has for our country. As America was teetering going over the edge, losing our national sovereignty, and ushered into the Marxist One-World Government the Lord raised (literally) Donald Trump from near death to assume a role much like Cyrus in the Old Testament who was chosen to save the Jews from certain destruction. Cyrus was not a Jew, he was incredibly wealthy, a proven leader and fixer of problems, and he knew how to get things done for the good of all. I’m sure Cyrus had his own annoying habits. But the time arrived for the people of early Israel to decide whether or not they would stand and fight to save the gifts given to them as a people much like Americans had to decide this past election.
Trump was brought to the forefront again, spared a second assassination attempt, numerous verbal, legal and financial assaults that would have collapsed just about any other man. He bluntly spoke aloud to all who would listen far and wide, that this is a time of refinement and recalibration of values among Americans. The timidity rampant through conservative platforms and the timidity that has taken over the church at-large is no match against the testing unfolding across our country with more still to come. Trump was spared his life to lead those who have ears to hear and eyes to see that this is also a time for reviving our individual, and collective as a nation, covenant with the Most-High God! A time to renew our pledge to carry out the promises our Forefathers made creating this exceptional nation.
America is a Covenant Nation — the only surviving nation on earth whose origins and determination are found in the papers and decrees of the Founding Fathers to establish a country “to the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith.” A Covenant Nation is one that recognizes its dependence upon God and accepts that is has a responsibility to God. Read our Declaration of Independence. A Covenant Nation is one that recognizes that God and His purposes are supreme over the Nation, that the highest role a nation can play is to reflect God’s righteousness in national policy but also domestically.
Donald Trump came up from the stage after being shot, with blood still running down his cheek, pledging to submit (cooperate) with God’s plan for his life and the life of this nation. Donald Trump challenged America to do similar. This Thanksgiving let us each give thanks that we have been given another opportunity to live in this remarkable country. Let us give thanks for the many blessings we each truly have.
