I’m sick and tired of the anti-Christian commercialization of religious holidays! Aren’t you?

On January 20, 2025 President Donald J. Trump signed an Exectutive Order titled Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biologicial Truth to the Federal Government. This Executive Order proclaimed the truth, that God created man and woman in His image.

Perhaps it is time for another Presidential Exutive Order that Defends National Holidays from anti-Christian commercialization.

For example this Executive Order would:

  • Designate February 14th as Saint Valentine’ Day. In a column titled “More than Romance: The True Meaning of Valentine’s DayMolly Carman writes, “February 14 marks the anniversary of St. Valentine of Rome’s martyrdom in A.D. 269. He was executed by the emperor for his Christian faith and for marrying couples when marriage was temporarily illegal. St. Valentine’s life and death demonstrate the high price that can sometimes accompany standing up for Christian values despite pushback from authority or the culture…Marriage is about much more than romance or sexual desire — it is about sacrifice and an image of God’s love for us. Whether you are married, engaged, dating, or single, Valentine’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate God’s holy parable of marriage. St. Valentine sought to protect this image, and we can do the same today. May we all learn to sacrifice for one another and love just as Christ first loved us (1 John 4:19).”
  • Designate April 2oth Easter as the Rise of our Lord and Savior Day. Easter is a Christian holiday that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It’s a joyous celebration that represents the defeat of death and the hope of salvation. The Rise of our Lord and Savior Day would be dedicated to The fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies. The revelation of God’s plan for humankind. The payment of humanity’s sins through Jesus’ death. The anticipation of believers’ own resurrection.
  • Designate Holloween as All Saints Day. Pope Gregory III established November 1 as All Saints’ Day, also known as All Hallows’ Day, a day to honor all saints of the church that have attained heaven. “The evening before All Saints’ Day became a holy, or hallowed, eve and thus as all Hallos Eve,” according to Encyclopedia Brittanica.
  • Designate Christmas as The Birth of Jesus of Nazareth Day. Christmas is a holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. For Christians, it’s a sacred day that commemorates God becoming human and joining humanity on Earth. The meaning of the Birth of Jesus Dais include: Love: Jesus came to give us love. Hope: Jesus is always with us. Joy: Jesus comforts and encourages us. Salvation: Jesus came to save humanity from sin. Community: God created us to be in community with one another. The last float in the Macy’s Day Parade should be a live Nativity Scene with the baby Jesus as the greated gift ever given to mankind by God.

I believe that this Executive order would strengthen our nation that is founded on Judeo-Christian prinsiples. Remember Jesus lived and died as a Jew. Jesus was the greatest Rabbi ever, a man who fundamentally transformed the world.

It is time to recognize that America was conceived as an act of God working through those men and women who founded this great nation.

You see, America is second only to Israel as a blessing from God the Father.

Amen.
