Biden Judge Halts Trump’s Military Trans Ban

Wallace White, The Daily Caller, March 18, 2025:

In a ruling Tuesday, a Biden-appointed federal judge blocked President Donald Trump’s executive order effectively banning transgender persons from serving in the U.S. military.

Washington, D.C. District Court Judge Ana Reyes issued a preliminary injunction on the order, effectively halting the law until a former ruling is issued. Transgender military members sued the Trump administration in January over the order, alleging the policy violates the U.S. Constitution under equal protection afforded under the Fifth Amendment.

“Leaders have used concern for military readiness to deny marginalized persons,” Reyes said in her opinion. “First minorities, then women in combat, then gays filled in that blank. Today, however, our military is stronger and our Nation is safer for the millions of such blanks (and all other persons) who serve.”

Reyes was appointed under former President Joe Biden in 2023, serving as the first LGBT federal judge in D.C.

In the ruling, Reyes said that transgender service members did not hinder readiness, while also saying the defense based its assessments on the effectiveness and fitness of transgender soldiers on “pure conjecture.”

Trump’s policy allowed for case-by-case exemptions from the ban, provided enough “government interest” was at stake, but Reyes alleged this provision was “in name only.”

Reyes also lamented the “discrimination” that she said transgender persons face, saying there exists “government hostility—and at times outright discrimination—against transgender persons” while citing examples such as bathroom policies, adoption laws and laws targeting pronouns.

In oral arguments in the case, Reyes also said that the existence of only two biological sexes, male and female, was not “biologically correct.”

Obama Judge Orders Trump Admin. to Reinstate UNAID, Another Obama Judge Forces Govt to Rehire 24,500 Fired Workers

By: Newssmax, 18 March 2025 10:07 AM EDT

The Trump administration in court filings has for the first time acknowledged that it fired nearly 25,000 recently hired workers, and said agencies were working to bring all of them back after a judge ruled their terminations were likely illegal.

The filings made in Baltimore, Maryland, federal court late Monday include statements from officials at 18 agencies, all of whom said the reinstated probationary workers were being placed on administrative leave at least temporarily.

The mass firings, part of President Donald Trump’s broader purge of the federal workforce, were widely reported, but the court filings are the first full accounting of the terminations by the administration.

Most of the agencies said they had fired a few hundred workers. The Treasury Department terminated about 7,600 people, the Department of Agriculture about 5,700 and the Department of Health and Human Services more than 3,200, according to the filings.

U.S. District Judge James Bredar on March 13 said the mass firings of probationary workers that began last month violated regulations governing the mass layoffs of federal employees, and ordered them to be reinstated pending further litigation.

Probationary workers typically have less than one year of service in their current roles, though some are longtime federal employees.

Bredar’s ruling came in a lawsuit by 19 Democrat-led states and Washington, D.C., who said the mass firings would trigger a spike in unemployment claims and greater demand for social services provided by states.

The office of Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown, which is spearheading the lawsuit, did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Tuesday.

The Trump administration has appealed Bredar’s decision and Monday asked a Richmond, Virginia-based appeals court to pause the ruling pending the outcome of the case.

Hours before Bredar issued his ruling, a federal judge in San Francisco had ordered that probationary workers be reinstated at six agencies, including five also covered by Bredar’s order and the U.S. Department of Defense. The administration has also appealed that decision.

In the filings late Monday, agency officials said they had either reinstated all of the fired employees or were working to do so, but warned bringing back large numbers of workers had imposed significant burdens and caused confusion and turmoil.

The officials also noted an appeals court ruling reversing Bredar’s order would allow agencies to again fire the workers, subjecting them to multiple changes in their employment status in a matter of weeks.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST: Family of Corrupt Obama Judge Ordering Deportation Planes Back Deeply Compromised

Judge Boasberg has a deeply troubling history of radical rulings.

Judges can temporarily block executive orders through injunctions, but when rulings consistently align with a judge’s personal ideology—like Boasberg’s history of halting Trump’s immigration policies while his spouse funds radical activism—it’s judicial activism, not constitutional oversight.

Take the Dakota Access Pipeline: the same judge halted construction despite federal approvals, costing taxpayers millions in delays and litigation. Congress must fast-track challenges to executive actions and mandate full disclosure of judges’ financial/political ties.

“No lifetime appointee should override the electorate’s will while their family profits from the chaos. Defund the overreach. Judge Boasberg’s daughter makes a living giving criminal illegals legal advice. And now she’s deleting her social media”

Boasberg refers to Jan 6 as an “insurrection” by Trump supporters–and implied the president was responsible.

Judge James Boasberg’s ruling against President Trump was revenge for halting government funding to his daughter Katherine Boasberg’s NGO “Partners for Justice,” which gives criminal illegal aliens and gang members legal advice.

To date, virtually every Federal Judge who has ruled against President Trump has been proven to be compromised, having a serious conflict(s) of interest and, in some cases, a criminal conflict(s) of interest.

Their rulings benefitted their family, relatives, and friends, and in some cases, they financially benefited directly from their illegal and unlawful rulings.

Federal District Judges do not have nationwide jurisdiction to rule against the Executive branch.

Only the Supreme Court has nationwide jurisdiction over the Executive branch.

The DOJ should immediately push for Judge James Boasberg to be disbarred.

We need Kash and AG Pam Bondi to investigate Judge James Boasberg for corruption and bring criminal charges against him.

Without severe consequences, these corrupt Liberal Extremist Judges will continue to attack the constitutional authority of the Executive Branch.

The Bottom Line

Some of these cases will eventually end up in the U.S. Supreme Court.

The question is who has the authority according to the U.S. Constitution and applicable laws to run the Executive Branch?

Judges or the President of the United States.
