IN MEMORIAM: David Horowitz Founder and director of the David Horowitz Freedom Center

With great sadness we mourn the passing of the great political activist David Horowitz from the United States of America.

David was a communist in his younger years. But God opened his eyes, and he became a conservative. He believed in Freedom. He believed in Free Markets. He believed that conservatives had to fight to stop the spread of Marxist ideas. But also; he warned against the Rise of Islam.

David was not afraid. He operated under his own real name. He went to universities all over America to meet his opponents.

He also organized conferences, where conservative politicians from the GOP could meet with, and listen to experts. Such as Arabist Robert Spencer, Middle-East expert Daniel Pipes, or journalist Daniel Greenfield. But also Dutch politician Geert Wilders.

I wish all the loved ones of David Horowitz a recovery from the loss of this great American hero.

David Horowitz was a true patriot. And a smart one as well.

I will remember him forever.
