ROOKE: Trump Fights Media On Goldilocks Issue, But Americans Tell Him He’s Got It Just Right

Despite media outlets continuously criticizing President Donald Trump’s deportation policies, Americans just gave him the green light to keep going.

Polling released from Napolitan News Service (NNS) conducted by RMG Research found that a majority of Americans support Trump’s mass deportations, with the leading position among Republicans (44%) being that deportations have not gone far enough.

Overall, 58 percent of Americans favor the Trump administration’s deportation efforts, with 33 percent strongly approving of Trump’s move. Comparatively, 35 percent of Americans oppose mass deportations, with just 18 percent strongly opposed. The poll reported that the number of Americans opposed to Trump’s deportation policies is actually down 3 points since their August and July surveys.

Still, there is a stark partisan divide on the issue as 88 percent of Republicans overwhelmingly support Trump’s deportations while 62 percent of Democrats oppose.

This is to be expected as left-wing media parade a constant barrage of negative press for their viewers. Major networks and newspapers like MSNBC, CNN, The New York Times, NPRPolitico, and The Atlantic have published numerous pieces attacking Trump and his administration on their illegal immigration policies.

MSNBC’s “Deadline” host Nicolle Wallace claimed Oct. 13 that Trump’s base was being fractured by his “wildly unpopular mass deportation scheme.”

The NYT compared Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids to the 1919-1920 Palmer Raids, warning that Trump’s anti-illegal immigrant sweeps echo historical overreaches that damaged government credibility. It argued that public sentiment could shift against the lack of due process.

Still, what left-wing media haven’t figured out yet is that Trump’s policies are exactly what Americans voted for in November 2024. When former President Joe Biden left U.S. borders wide open for four years, they had to expect some national pushback. Well, here it is.

The polling shows that Americans’ stomachs are not yet full, and they want Trump to ignore the media attacks to continue mass deportations.
