No King Protest: The Irony of Strength in America’s Rebirth Under President Trump”
America is a great nation — the land of liberty, opportunity, and unmatched global influence. Regardless of who occupies the Oval Office, the President of the United States is often regarded as the most powerful individual on the planet. This is not an exaggeration. America commands the most formidable military in the world, boasts the largest economy, and remains the biggest donor of aid to other nations. It also stands as a beacon of human rights and democracy.
Therefore, it is only natural that the Commander-in-Chief of such a nation must be powerful — and, yes, feared by adversaries. Strength at the top reflects strength in the nation.
However, under previous Democratic administrations, America’s global dominance appeared to wane. The pursuit of “political correctness” and diplomacy at all costs often came at the expense of respect. Nations with no parity to the United States — from Mexico to Venezuela, Colombia, and even China — took advantage of America’s leniency. Illicit activities flourished, drugs poured across the borders, and adversarial powers such as Iran nearly succeeded in advancing nuclear ambitions unchecked. Meanwhile, illegal immigration at the southern border surged with little deterrence.
Then came President Donald J. Trump — a figure whose leadership felt, to many, like deliverance. As the scripture in Obadiah 1:17 declares, “Upon Mount Zion there shall be deliverance and holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.” Trump’s return to power following the November 5, 2024 election marked a turning point — a reclamation of American strength, pride, and purpose from the shackles of weakness and indecision.
Under Trump, the message is clear: America will be respected again. He has shown that leadership is not about appeasement, but about standing firm. When he declared that leaders like Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro “will not want to mess with the United States,” it was more than rhetoric — it was a warning grounded in renewed confidence.
Now, Democrats and their allies take to the streets with the “No King” protest, accusing President Trump of acting like a monarch. Yet the irony is clear: the same strength they condemn is the very force that restores America’s dignity on the world stage.
If asserting national strength, defending borders, and demanding global respect make President Trump a “King” in their eyes, then perhaps the chant should not be “No King,” but rather — Long Live His Majesty, King Donald J. Trump
