We’ve all waited a long time for this moment!

WATCH: Call Sign Courage Trailer

STARRS was at the premiere of the film at the Heritage Foundation which was hosted by Benny Johnson. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard introduced the documentary (along with telling about the shocking ways DEI indoctrination was pushed in the Intelligence Community). She said the film shows “how these policies undermine the interests of the American people and the courage that it requires to take a stand and say, no, this is wrong,” and also that “knowing that our freedom in this country will only exist as long as we have the will to stand up and defend it.”

Call Sign Courage: The Matt Lohmeier Story is a very powerful film and so timely for today as it shows the Marxist/Maoist roots of the CRT/DEI ideology and today’s radical leftwing movements (and their violence). It warns of the damage and divisive harm it does when this agenda is inside the military. Among those interviewed in the film are Xi Van Fleet who lived through the Maoist Cultural Revolution, as well as STARRS Vice Chairman Maj. General Joe Arbuckle, USA ret, and STARRS Board of Advisors member Vice Admiral Dean Lee, USCG ret.

The film aligns really well with the STARRS presentation we have been giving across the country, “The American Creed Threatened by Radical Ideology.” If you want us to present this to your organization, or if you want to rent a venue to show the film to your organization, let us know. Already those who hosted special showings at theaters have quickly sold out. The film or the presentation would be great to host/show near military bases!

Background on Matt and STARRS

Matthew Lohmeier is a 2006 graduate of the US Air Force Academy and became a military pilot flying the T-38 and F-15C Eagle fighter jet. He then cross-trained to space operations, graduated at the top of his class in four USAF schools (he has two master’s degrees), and was promoted early to Lieutenant Colonel.

Matt served as an aide-de-camp for a 4-star general who later became the first Chief of Space Operations for the US Space Force. In 2020, Matt transferred to the Space Force and was placed in command of a space-based missile warning squadron.

During the tumultuous year of 2020, Matt became concerned watching the increasing politicization of the military toward an ideology with clear Marxist roots.

He decided to write a book for military service members and others explaining and contrasting this Marxist ideology with the greatness of the American ideal. The result became a bestselling book, “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military.”

But there was a price to pay for standing up for what was right and warning about the divisive impact that Marxist-rooted CRT ideology has on the military and its mission. As a result of the book and speaking about it, he was relieved of his command and separated without a pension.

STARRS came to his side to help defend and support him. He worked for STARRS as he toured the nation and on TV/podcasts speaking to Americans about our Nation’s present peril and informing them of actions they can take in defense of liberty.

The documentary producers of the acclaimed films “What is a Woman” and “Am I Racist” (reviewed here by STARRS Ambassador Lt Col Eric Vogel, USAF ret) took an interest in his story, and they and Matt spent nearly two years working on the documentary that has finally been released, “Call Sign Courage: The Matt Lohmeier Story“.

One of the reasons for the delay: back in October Matt, then the STARRS Executive Vice President preparing to become the President of STARRS, met President Trump at a town hall in North Carolina where Matt asked for a Pentagon task force eliminating the CRT/DEI ideology and agenda from the military to “ensure this monster never returns to the Defense Department.” The President liked the idea and said on stage that he wanted Matt to be a part of this task force.

After later meetings with the Commander-in-Chief, President Trump was impressed enough to decide in January to instead name Matt as the Under Secretary of the Air Force! STARRS lost its future President but who’s to argue with the President of our country? Luckily we have still have our GREAT President, Ron Scott, who has tirelessly worked for the STARRS cause as a volunteer all these years (although he was probably looking forward to having a bit more time to maybe play a game of golf or two) along with other leaders–all volunteers–who have devoted countless hours to remedying the wrongs of the CRT/DEI agenda and the C19 vax mandate in the military.

STARRS is so proud of Matt and his achievements and we’re sure all of you who have followed him all these years are too! The Air Force and Space Force are lucky to have him and we’re sure through his leadership and example, there will be a lot of new recruits to these Forces. What warfighter wouldn’t be eager to serve under a principled leader who advocates for merit and excellence, instead of the divisive identity ideologies of the past?

Here are all the posts on the STARRS website about Matt to learn more about him. Also, this Veterans Day he was interviewed by Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec on Real America’s Voice channel. Here’s the whole interview.
