Netanyahu Vows to Disarm Gaza in Line with Trump Plan
The Israeli premier also reiterated his opposition to establishing a “Palestinian state on any territory west of the Jordan River,” rejecting the U.S. – backed statement calling for a “pathway” to Palestinian statehood.
Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday emphasized his commitment to disarming the entire Gaza Strip as envisioned in U.S. President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan for the coastal enclave.
“I want to address two specific issues,” Netanyahu said as he opened the weekly Cabinet meeting on Sunday. “The first issue is the supposed ‘non-demilitarization’ of the part of Gaza still in Hamas’s hands. There will be no such thing. Under the 20-point plan, and in everything else, that area will be demilitarized and Hamas will be disarmed. Either this will happen the easy way or it will happen the hard way. I said this, and President Trump also said this,” the premier told journalists.
Netanyahu also reiterated his opposition to establishing a “Palestinian state on any territory west of the Jordan River,” rejecting Friday’s U.S.-backed statement calling for a “pathway” to Palestinian statehood. “I have been pushing back against these attempts for decades, doing so against external pressure as well as internal pressure. So I don’t need encouragement, tweets or lectures from anyone,” Netanyahu added.

IDF eliminates senior Hamas terrorist Musa Shaladan
The IDF and Shin Bet attacked and eliminated last week, led by the Southern Command and using the Air Force, the terrorist Musa Shaladan, deputy commander of the Zaytoun Battalion in the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza City area.
Shaladan commanded a platoon during the raid into Israeli territory in the murderous massacre on October 7 and was one of the leaders of launching incendiary balloons toward the state’s territory. He was also responsible for the release of hostages in Gaza City and took part in the Hamas terrorist organization’s show parades during their release in the last deal.
Throughout the war, while staying in humanitarian shelters, he carried out many terror patterns such as sniping, explosives, and anti-tank attacks against IDF forces operating in the area and was responsible for Hamas’s combat zone plans in Zaytoun. In his past, he was responsible for intelligence in the battalion and also deputy platoon commander.
The IDF and Shin Bet will continue to operate with strength against terrorist organizations in the Strip and remove any threat to the citizens of the State of Israel.
