U.S. Forces on Full Alert off the Coast of Venezuela

The U.S. military has moved into full readiness near Venezuela, with the aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford and two guided-missile destroyers positioned just 300 miles from the Venezuelan coast.

The deployment comes amid rapidly escalating tensions and Washington’s signals that it may take more assertive steps in the region.

According to U.S. media reports, the carrier strike group is now advancing toward Venezuelan waters, reinforcing President Trump’s warnings that action remains on the table as his administration confronts the Maduro regime and its ties to hostile actors in the hemisphere.

Targeted in Beirut: No. 2 in Hezbollah

Several channels identified with Hezbollah report an Israeli attack in Dahiyeh, Beirut.

The IDF confirms that this was a targeted elimination in Dahiyeh: “We attacked a key Hezbollah terrorist”.

It is now being reported that the target was Ali Tabatabai, the de facto Hezbollah Chief of Staff, No. 2 in Hezbollah today.

A senior Hezbollah official confirms going down to the area because a leader known in the organization was injured in an attack.
