Apparently Senator John Fetterman understands and honors Jewish law — Giving the benefit of the doubt
“… when it comes to myself I should be very critical, always looking to improve my behavior and never being satisfied with weak excuses. When it comes to somebody else, I should go to the opposite extreme and seek to ascribe positive motives or good justifications to their actions, …. .” — Chabad.org
“With righteousness shall you judge your fellow.” — Leviticus 19:15.
This is a “Dear John” letter of gratitude for an outspoken voice of reason intended to focus Israel’s attention on the most dire of life-and-death situations this tiny Holy Land faces, giving credence to Jewish law that requires affording an “accused” person the benefit of the doubt, namely Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu who stands accused of the crimes against humanity of accepting cigars and champagne and trying to get favorable media coverage!
In the eyes of the world, this show trial lasting over five years is a reflection of a misguided and trivialized judicial system, casting disparagement on the nation state. If Israel’s highest court’s standards would be applied to all world leaders, the globe would be leaderless!

Sen. John Fetterman is a staunch Israel supporter who has now asked that country’s president to pardon embattled Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
TalkingPointsMemo.com obtained a letter that Fetterman sent to Israel President Isaac Herzog asking him to issue a pardon for Netanyahu amid an ongoing corruption scandal.
“In a world this dangerous, I question whether any democracy can afford to have its head of government spending valuable hours, day after day, in a courtroom rather than the situation room,” Fetterman wrote in the Dec. 2, TPM reported.
