As Deni Avdija made history as the first Israeli to compete in the NBA All-Star Game, Spike Lee showed up draped in performative politics including a keffiyeh-patterned sweater vest and a man-bag plastered with Palestinian flags.

This isn’t a one-off. Lee has a long record of pushing ugly tropes about Jews in Hollywood, amplifying antisemitic 9/11 conspiracy theories, and backing organizations that have faced serious scrutiny over terror links.

Spike Lee is a despicable and ignorant bigot. Lee says nothing about Iran’s leaders who murdered roughly 50,000 Iranians, and jailed thousands more, for the crime of protesting their murderous government. And he says nothing about Christians being butchered in Nigeria and Syria. It is only Israel who Lee condemns for defending themselves against Hamas. Shame on him.

The only thing missing on this scumbag is a swastika.

Spike Lee was seated courtside at the Intuit Dome in Southern California for the NBA All-Star Game, but it was his outfit that caught attention during the event.

Lee wore a Pro-Palestinian look to the festivities in Inglewood, California, as the league put its new format on display, which featured World All-Stars and All-Stars from the U.S. on Team Stars and Team Stripes.
