More Than Just An Oil Storm

The following may read more like a briefing than a commentary. I intended this so you may become aware of information from behind the curtain in relation to the on-going conflict with Iran. I also intended for you to ponder this information so you may make some deliberate plans and not be caught off guard and simply react. The on-going conflict with Iran is creating (well developed or because of the conflict) scarcity. Being made aware, even if nothing comes from what you will learn below, at least you have given some serious thoughts and even set to paper some plans, so you are not caught off-guard.

Do you remember March 2020? The world seemed to have shut down overnight. Businesses closed, travel stopped and government moved quickly taking unprecedented control over our lives — all in the name of a manufactured crisis — COVID.

Now, as an energy infrastructure burns across the Middle East and the Strait of Hormuz is inoperative, we are watching another significant crisis develop. Mike Adams of Natural News stated, “we are witnessing the methodical setup for a national lockdown of movement, food and fuel.” The Iran conflict is causing a hidden and most potentially catastrophic damage to the global energy infrastructure. Besides the stoppage of oil, the most significant damage appears in Qatar with the Ras Laffan LNG complex which is the largest liquefied natural gas facility on the planet. Iranian missiles have destroyed two liquefaction trains — trains 4 and 6, with a combined capacity of 12.8 million tons per year. This represents 17% of Qatar’s total LNG export capacity. Repairs are expected to take three to five years.

The Strait of Hormuz allows 20% of the world’s oil supply along with 20% of Liquid Natural Gas to flow through this 20-mile channel. It is closed to all shipping! These bare facts depict the biggest energy crisis in history, and even larger than the oil shock of 1973 — remember, going to the gas station and being allowed a limited amount of fuel, and that is after waiting in very long lines depending on the last digits of your vehicle license plate and selected days of the week.

Energy isn’t just what moves your car it’s what grows your food. Natural gas is the primary feedstock for ammonia which is the backbone of nitrogen fertilizer. NO gas, NO fertilizer, NO food. Add to this Sulfur, it is the essential ingredient for producing sulfuric acid, which is used to process phosphate rock in fertilizer. Half of the world’s sulfur come from the Gulf region, which is now all closed, all inaccessible.

Goldman Sachs reports that nitrogen fertilizer prices have already jumped 40% with global fertilizer prices going up 15-20%. This will cause food prices to continue going up and already have begun. If this Iran conflict is not stopped with the Strait of Hormuz reopened fully and military conflicts continues for another three to six months, it is quietly being accessed that a major global food catastrophe will occur.

I don’t want you to panic. I want you to consider what I have written and even check further. I want you to consider making plans, so you are NOT caught off-guard.
