Scott Adams is a Citizen Journalist based in the Tampa Bay area. From Childhood Scott has personally witnessed the mutual consolidation and federalization of so called ‘local’ newspapers and schools to where they are lapdogs of mediocrity that are unconcerned with serving their local communities. Institutions that now promote the deterioration of individual rights and the wussification of American citizens who are increasingly persecuted by the very systems that were designed to protect their right to reason and speak freely. Always an advocate for free speech and thought since youth, Scott has frequently had to work behind the scenes to avoid persecution here in the ‘land of the free’. A passionate writer and thinker Scott currently works in the next incarnation of these dying institutions of ‘local’ newspapers and public schools by advocating for both local school choice and local news coverage. As the inimitable American humorist Finley Peter Dunne said, “The job of the newspaper is to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.”
