Really, what did you expect? Besides hating and plotting to murder infidels, there is something else that Islamic jihadis and their allies and enablers do with furious consistency: They never, ever take responsibility for their actions. Every jihad massacre, if they admit it happened at all and don’t stick to the claim that the whole incident is a media invention, is someone else’s fault. And of course they have a favorite group that they love to blame above all others for all the atrocities that they and their brethren in the faith commit. Yeah, you guessed it.
After all, the Qur’an says: “You will find the Jews and the idolaters the most vehement of mankind in hostility to those who believe” (5:82), so it’s only natural that Muslims would blame Jews for virtually everything. If they’re “the most vehement of mankind in hostility” to the Muslims, they must be trying to disrupt and destroy the lives of Muslims whenever and however they can, and the Qur’an and Islamic tradition are full of passages that reflect this view. So why wouldn’t they have staged 9/11 in order to bring down the full weight of “Islamophobia” upon Muslims?
The Jerusalem Post reported Sunday that the New Jersey chapter of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), to which the Post naively refers as “the US’s largest Muslim charity,” has advocated “teaching students that the 9/11 terror attacks were due to ‘America’s support of Israel’ and said, ‘terrorism is defined differently by different groups of people.’” Of course. Anything but admitting that the hijackers were Islamic jihadis acting in line with Islamic texts and teachings, killing unbelievers in accord with Allah’s command to “kill them wherever you find them” (Qur’an 2:191, 4:89, 4:91, cf. 9:5) in service of the overall objective of destabilizing and destroying the United States, the world’s foremost infidel polity.
The guide also “contains advice for Muslim students regarding their religious rights in schools, a section on ‘Discussing Palestine in the classroom,’ and a page on ‘Muslim Studies: 9/11.’ The page reads: ‘The catastrophic events of 9/11 catapulted the Global War on Terror, marking an aggressive shift in US domestic and foreign policy and an erosion of civil liberties through the Patriot Act, which practically targeted Muslims. The 9/11 attacks also marked a renewed and egregious ‘othering’ of Muslims and those who may appear to be Muslim, which has been evident in mainstream media, on campaign trails, in literature and advertising, and even in the classroom.”
In other words, “Muslims murder nearly 3,000 people, and Muslims are the real victims.” There was nothing, of course, in Hamas-linked CAIR’s guide about Islam’s jihad imperative, or the increasingly common boasts from Muslims in the U.S. about their imminent takeover. Nothing about law enforcement and intelligence officials actually dealing with a genuine threat. Instead, it seems as if CAIR wants students to assume that 9/11 had nothing to do with the hijackers’ Muslim identity, and that Muslims were cruelly scapegoated as a result. CAIR also, of course, is silent about how the Muslim population of the U.S. more than doubled during the period of the “egregious ‘othering’ of Muslims.”
And so this is how the guide described what happened on September 11, 2001: “A group self-identifying as al-Qaeda hailing from the mountains of Afghanistan launched separate plane hijackings that ended up in different cities, causing the death of almost 3,000 people, and the resulting debris from the fallen towers caused lasting health issues in first responders.” So we apparently can’t even be sure that they were really al-Qaeda.
The Post states that the guide “then cites the 9/11 Commission Report as saying that al-Qaeda ‘launched the attacks in response to America’s support of Israel, their involvement in the Persian Gulf War, and the vast presence of the US military in the Middle East.’ It is important to note that while page 362 of the report does identify US support for Israel and American military presence in the Middle East as among the grievances that helped fuel al-Qaeda’s extremism, it at no point says 9/11 was in response to these things.”
Indeed, because it wasn’t. In his 1996 Declaration of Jihad against the Americans Occupying the Land of the Two Holiest Sites, Osama bin Laden said that “the worst catastrophe that was inflicted upon the Moslems since the death of the Prophet” was “the occupation of the land of the two holiest sites, Islam’s own grounds, the cradle of Islam, source of the Prophet’s mission, site of the Ka’bah.” Osama was primarily enraged because U.S. troops had entered Saudi Arabia in order to fight Saddam Hussein’s Iraq.
The guide “also suggests students read the full text of Bin Laden’s ‘Letter to America,’ which is hard to find online now after it became a TikTok craze in 2023 and the Guardian removed it from its website. But in that letter, Osama wrote: “What are we calling you to, and what do we want from you? The first thing that we are calling you to is Islam…. It is the religion of Jihad in the way of Allah so that Allah’s Word and religion reign Supreme.”
“Allah Word and religion” may only “reign Supreme” in this view when the fullness of Islamic law is imposed and enforced in society. That would requirement the replacement of the U.S. Constitution with Sharia.
After this guide brought unwanted attention to the unsavory gang of pro-jihad thugs who produced it, CAIR hastily revised it, and added this note: “An earlier version of the document did not go through proper vetting and included a link to a primary source document that was removed in November 2025.” Yeah, sure, CAIR, you’ve changed all your views now. Pull my other leg.
Sex with 9-year-olds, legal rape and wife-beating.
“We need your voice,” Abdul El-Sayed told a sex offender who had been sentenced to prison for sexually soliciting what he thought was a 14-year-old girl online and then for “distributing child sexually abusive material and multiple counts of accosting children for immoral purposes.”
The sex offender had reinvented himself as an activist against incarceration and claimed that he had suffered, “I was only allowed to have the type of phone without a browser, and several times had my phone confiscated” and argued that the answer “is to address the root causes of crime… address the real problems… like education, lack of economic opportunity.”
“I hope that you’ll run, and I hope that when you do, you’ll find me out and let me have the opportunity to support,” Abdul El-Sayed endorsed his political activism. “We need your voice, folks who are affected by the experiences that you’ve had uniquely need your voice.”
One of the sex offender’s alleged former victims, said that hehad “solicited me as a minor” and that he had “worked with Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed” and together with other politicians made it possible to expunge criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree and “removing rape from 17-24 year old’s permanent record.” The anonymous victim posted that “Abdul helped lead the decarceration movement. He was the president of the non-profit Michigan United.”
Abdul El-Sayed had served as the president of Michigan United aka the Michigan Organizing Project as part of a board with a number of Muslim figures including Aamina Ahmed of AAPI Rising, appointed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to head Protect Michigan, Senegalese immigrant activist Fatou-Seydi Sarr and Dearborn Magistrate Judge Rula Aoun. One of the organization’s missions was combating ‘mass incarceration’ and it was part of the Michigan Justice Advocacy coalition alongside Safe & Just Michigan where the sex offender worked as a lobbyist and argued for keeping sex offender registries secret and for allowing them to live near schools.
Michigan has one of the largest sex offender lists in the country making the threat worse.
Why was Abdul El-Sayed advocating for a man who had been “distributing child sexually abusive material” and “accosting children” and whose victim has spoken out against El-Sayed?
This was only one of a series of pedophilia scandals and intersections involving El-Sayed.
Earlier in August, Abdul El-Sayed had come under fire for a planned appearance at the Islamic Society of North America, an Islamic group named as an unindicted co-conspirator in a terror funding trial, alongside numerous figures who had called for violence and terrorism, including Imam Tariq Masood who had praised Hitler and describing having “forced his 13-year-old niece into marriage, and advised his followers to do the same with their young female relatives.”
El-Sayed tried to disavow any connection to the imam who had been accused of “pedophilic rhetoric” but a book by yet another Islamic figure with troubling views on child rape was spotted on his bookshelf despite his efforts to prevent coverage of the hateful text from being broadcast.
Abdul El-Sayed had asked documentarians covering his previous campaign to “not get these things in the shot” and, as reported on by the Free Beacon, the book in question was by Bilal Philips, an unindicted co-conspirator in the World Trade Center bombing, who in other writings had ‘advocated that young girls are fit for marriage the moment they begin menstruating.’
“The prophet Muhammad practically outlined the rules regarding marriage prior to puberty, with his practice he clarified what is permissible and that is why we shouldn’t have any issues about an older man marrying a younger woman, which is looked down upon by this society today, but we know that Prophet Muhammad practiced it, it wasn’t abuse or exploitation, it was marriage,” Philips had argued in another book.
In that same book, Bilal Philips also argued that monogamy was “illogical”, “men are polygamous by nature” and the alternative was prostitution, that the Koran allowed men to rape their wives, “a woman is obliged to give herself to her husband and he may not be charged with rape”, and that “Sharia does permit a husband to hit his wife.”
Bilal Philips had complained that the ‘Prophet’ Mohammed “has been accused of being a pedophile due to his marriage to Aisha at the age of 9” and argued that “pedophilia involves adults taking advantage of children by purchasing sexual favors from them” when they “are not seeking marriage but only sex” and that the “age of consent for women set in the West” and has “no actual relationship to the woman’s ability or inability for sexual relations.” By contrast “Islam sets the age of marriage at puberty”.And that having sex with a nine-year-old is completely fine.
Presumably, according to Islamic Sharia law, the 9-year-old can be both raped and beaten.
It is unclear whether Abdul El-Sayed, who is running on his ‘public health experience’ agrees with this, but the pattern of complicity raises troubling questions about his position on the sexual abuse of children. Most political candidates can’t even afford one pedophilia scandal, El-Sayed is up to three scandals which had arrived at the incredible rate of one a week during August.
El-Sayed’s involvement in Michigan United has been downplayed, as has its link to advocacy for sex offenders and his own political support for a sex offender has largely been buried as well. The intersection between the Islamist political candidate and Islamic figures who have normalized pedophilia was reported on by the Free Beacon, but did not go far beyond that.
Advocates for children have long expressed concern of a hidden epidemic of child abuse happening in Islamic enclaves like Dearborn and Hamtramck where Islamic local governments have the ability to suppress complaints and cases. Under Islamic Sharia law, the sexual abuse of children as young as 9 years old might not be considered a crime, and as Abdul El-Sayed and other Islamic figures in the state have argued, Sharia law is fundamental to their way of life.
Where does Abdul El-Sayed draw the line? Is it at pedophilia? If so, why did he advocate for a sex offender and why was he comfortable keeping a text by an Islamic figure who argued for sex with 9-year-old girls on his bookshelf? And if El-Sayed is comfortable with pedophilia, is that an Islamic value that Michigan Democrats are comfortable integrating into their multiculturalism?
The New York City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America is trading its worn-down headquarters for two upscale offices that will run $22,000 a month.
The socialist group is abandoning its Lower East Side base in favor of new spaces in Midtown and Bed-Stuy, according to the New York Post. Co-chair Grace Mausser laid out the plan for members at a recent meeting while walking them through the chapter’s budget.
The Manhattan location sits inside a 14-story building on West 35th Street and comes with a doorman, round-the-clock security and a furnished rooftop, the Post reported. That office alone will cost $15,000 monthly, making it the chapter’s biggest recurring bill behind leadership pay.
The timing lands weeks after the chapter agreed to start cutting six-figure paychecks to its top two officers. Members approved annual salaries of $95,000 plus benefits for Mausser and co-chair Gustavo Gordillo, who had both served as unpaid volunteers, according to City & State New York. The Citywide Leadership Committee cleared the resolution by a 51-10 vote. Those salaries and benefits will total roughly $20,000 a month against monthly revenue of about $84,700.
The chapter routinely attacks landlords, yet its new Manhattan home belongs to the Chetrit family, one of the city’s largest developers, which has drawn class-action complaints from Brooklyn tenants over alleged violations of rent-stabilization rules, according to the Post.
“Nothing says ‘we hate capitalism’ like sitting in a high-rise Midtown boardroom cosplaying as extras in Succession,” former NYC Council minority leader Joe Borelli told the Post.
The Brooklyn addition gives the group its first outpost in the borough at another $7,000 a month. The two-story Bed-Stuy space carries central air and what its listing calls the feel of a high-end artist loft. DSA leadership set a goal of raising $20,000 in monthly donations to renovate and sustain offices across the city, according to the organization’s fundraising page. The chapter later lifted its overall target to $100,000 and has pulled in more than $68,000 so far, according to the Post.
The upgrade replaces a cramped Jefferson Street room with red-painted walls that cost $5,200 a month. The chapter scrapped a meeting there last week over a leak.

Du Bois Movement School for Abolition and Reconstruction, which bills itself as a “political education program for aspiring revolutionaries,” offering sessions like “Imagining A World Without Prisons.” Other facilitators included a University of Pennsylvania student who participated in the school’s “Gaza Solidarity Encampment” and a Penn lecturer who was pushed out of Drexel University after tweeting, “All I want for Christmas is white genocide.”
Students were required to attend the symposia, though they could choose among the workshops. The group says its goal is to establish a “revolutionary pipeline” for K-12 students and tells prospective participants that “young people are the key to … resisting capitalist imperialism.”

Maybe we’re progressive regressives, and I don’t mean that just in the sense that progressives are regressive, and they are, but that one part of our society is advancing at lightning speed to the future and progressing. But the other part is regressing, and regressing at a phenomenal pace back to what I would call the medieval period.
Remember, the medieval period was roughly that area in time after the fall of the Roman Empire in the West, roughly AD 500 to around AD 1300 to 1400, the beginning of the Italian Renaissance. In medievalism, we often talk about primitivism after the destruction of the classical world during the Dark Ages, the early medieval period, and it’s characterized by epidemics, bubonic plague, typhus, typhoid, smallpox, terrible sanitation in urban centers. They had forgotten the Roman use of sewage and aqueducts.
There were open borders. National states popped up that couldn’t defend themselves, so you saw castles and walls pop up all over the European countryside in a way you had not during the Roman period. In cities, they were walled, towns even, and the gates closed at dusk to prevent gratuitous crime.
But at the same time that this was happening, you had some of the greatest works of literature in the Western world. You had Chaucer’s “Canterbury Tales,” Dante’s “Inferno,” St. Thomas Aquinas’ “Summa Theologica.” And if you look at the architectural expertise and scientific knowledge of architecture, it was progressing at a geometric rate when you look at the huge cathedrals at Seville or Cologne.
I should remind everybody that around 536, Santa Sofia was created, the Church of the Holy Wisdom in Constantinople. It would be the largest church in Christendom for a thousand years. And everything from the mass production of crossbows to eyeglasses was a product of the medieval period, even if, as I said, the daily lives of most people were wretched.
Now let’s switch to the modern period. All of us now can call anywhere in the world in seconds on our iPhones. Anything you want to know, past, present, future, you can just get on a cheap computer and ask an artificial intelligence program from the many free platforms. You can watch movies, you can watch entertainment on satellites. Anything you want is at your fingertips.
The nation itself is exploring space. We’re getting close to conquering cancer. I can attest to that. Computers allow you to write without even speaking. You can, unfortunately, compose a whole term paper or a book with AI. You can make a movie with AI.
Yet at the same time that’s happening, look at what’s going on in Berkeley here in California or Los Angeles. We’re seeing outbreaks of medieval diseases that we thought had been conquered years ago, given our sophisticated knowledge of sewage and water treatment. We had a typhus breakout in Los Angeles. We had leptospirosis, a rat disease, in Berkeley.
You look at the homeless camps all over our major cities. People are just out in the open fornicating, urinating, defecating, injecting drugs. There’s tons of feces that has to be removed, and it’s so strange in this modern medievalism.
We have sophisticated researchers who go into a hospital in Chicago or go to a cancer center in San Francisco and have to check the bottoms of their shoes to make sure they don’t have feces as they go into their space-age laboratories.
It’s really funny. In the medieval period, public hangings and beheadings were sort of public events that people flocked out to see. Is that any different than our glorification of murderers?
And there is a difference. Luigi Mangione, they named an opera after him in California. The killer of Charlie Kirk brought people jubilation. I won’t even get into Lindsay Clancy, who strangled her three children and became every woman to the feminist left.
At least in the medieval period, they knew that the murderer had done something wrong and was being punished. In the post-medieval period, we are glorifying that murderer, and that’s really striking.
And so, what I’m getting at is we are the most regulated, the most advanced, the most modern, the most scientific society in history, even as we can’t solve problems that were solvable, and the medieval period would have died to know the solutions that we have in our hands to make sure we have clean water, to make sure there is no crime, to make sure there is no disease, to make sure that people don’t defecate on the street. But we don’t do it. We willingly don’t do it.
Now, the question to finish is why?
We have an elite that has embraced a very toxic ideology throughout history, and that is mandated, government-sanctioned equality of result. And they have divided, therefore, to further that ideology, the world into victims and victimizers, an arbitrary classification, sometimes based on class, but increasingly on race.
And once they identify someone as a victim who’s not responsible for his plight, then it’s the duty of the society to allow him to express himself. If you have a lot of teenagers who want to loot a jewelry store, then you say they were hungry and they needed food.
If you see homeless people living on the street, then it was because of something the majority culture did to them.
And the result of that is when people engage in very dangerous antisocial behavior, an elite will tell the rest of us that they’re not subject to law enforcement or they’re not subject to the laws that apply to the rest of us.
But there are two really pernicious addenda here.
No. 1, the people who do this on the left, who believe in this mandated equality and a binary of victim and victimizer, are never subject to the consequences of their own ideology. Nancy Pelosi‘s home is not surrounded by homeless people. Jane Fonda doesn’t have to trip over people injecting drugs when she walks outside her door. The Hollywood stars in Malibu who champion the homeless have very clear security. You can’t get near their homes.
In other words, we, the lab rats, are those upon whom they experiment.
And there’s another reason as well. It’s not just that they experiment on us. and this ideology is not applicable to itself, but more importantly, they believe that they are morally superior because most of them are agnostics or atheists. They have lost their God, but they have found it in a post-Enlightenment caring, abstract though it may be, for victims.
And when you put this religious element to it, because it makes no sense to allow medieval diseases and medievalism to dominate your cities in crime, filth and homelessness, but they do it. They feel morally superior, and it gives them meaning in their life in a way that we, the majority, find not morally superior, but morally repugnant.

New York City Mayor Mamdani Releases 400-Page Racial Equity Plan
The initial framework for the plan was released in April. This week: Mayor Mamdani’s office released the full 400-page plan. The plan is the product of the city’s radical Chief Equity Officer Afua Atta-Mensah, who said: “ The release of the final plan is the beginning of implementation, not the end of planning,” said Atta-Mensah, who is commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Equity and Racial Justice. “Agencies now have to take these commitments and put them into practice” (Gothamist). Harmeet Dhillon with the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division has not been bashful to take action on legislation and policy unequally applied based on race. She spoke up when the initial framework was released.
New York Post: The Trump administration is reviewing a “racial equity” plan released by Mayor Zohran Mamdani — with a top Department of Justice official calling the city’s proposal “fishy.” The assistant attorney general for the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division, in a statement to The Post, threatened to “bring enforcement actions if necessary” over the long-delayed report unveiled by Mamdani on Monday. The “preliminary citywide racial equity plan” aims to get dozens of local agencies involved to “solve decades of neglect and discrimination” against black and Hispanic and Latino New Yorkers — including through mandated “anti-racism” training and pay equity for city workers.
Assistant AG Harmeet Dhillon claimed Tuesday the plan “appears to be another example of divisive, race-based policymaking that the United States Supreme Court has routinely held to be unlawful.”
“Racist and illegal DEI [diversity, equity and inclusion] has no place in our society,” she said in a statement.
“The Civil Rights Division is reviewing the plan and will bring enforcement actions if necessary.”
The report was legally mandated under a 2022 voter referendum and was released by City Hall at the same time as a separate study on the “True Cost of Living” in New York City.
The preliminary racial equity plan involved 45 agencies and more than 200 city workers in an effort to “build a more equitable, inclusive and just city,” following the intense protests over the police killing of George Floyd in Minnesota in 2020, said Mamdani’s Chief Equity Officer Afua Atta-Mensah on Monday.
Mamdani had promised to make the plan public within his first 100 days in office, after his predecessor Mayor Eric Adams repeatedly pushed back the release of the report, with his administration even being sued for failing to meet the 2024 deadline.
It comes as President Trump’s admin targets diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in liberal havens like New York.
The document, which explicitly does not use the controversial acronym DEI, includes the following policy suggestions:
–Increasing the number of city teachers who “receive professional learning in implicit bias and culturally relevant pedagogy.”
–Calls for a public school curriculum that reflects “the diversity of the families and communities.”
–Demanding “anti-racism training for City government staff” to help workers “combat racial discrimination in the workplace.”
–Requiring the Department of Housing Preservation and Development to “ensure racial equity is considered in evaluating 100 percent of new proposals” for construction projects.
“New York’s history has been one of colonization, exploitation, and racial oppression,” the plan states.
The report quickly sparked blowback from conservatives online, with Dhillon sounding the alarm.
“Sounds fishy/illegal. Will review!” she wrote on X Monday.
Councilwoman Joann Ariola (R-Queens) said she was looking forward to the results of the DOJ’s review.
“The mayor made it clear that he was going to go after white communities during his campaign, and this seems like his first step toward making that goal a reality,” she told The Post.
Mamdani, during his campaign, pledged to shift the property tax burden from outer borough homeowners to ‘more expensive homes in richer and whiter neighborhoods.”
Councilman David Carr (R-Staten Island) called the equity report a waste of time and money.

Most people look for foreign influence at the federal border, but on July 30, a paper trail inside the Texas State Capitol proved the real beachhead might be in the state’s banking system.
While legacy news cameras chased federal soundbites in Washington, the Texas House Committee on Homeland Security, Public Safety, and Veterans Affairs quietly convened in Austin for something far more dangerous to the status quo: a methodical audit of foreign money in American backyards. This wasn’t political theater designed for a ten-second clip. It was a cold, calculated exercise in state power, laying down an evidentiary blueprint built to reclaim American land, lock down financial pipelines, and force federal agencies to answer for what they’ve ignored.
That strategy hinges on a unique Texas weapon: the interim charge. Because the state’s part-time legislature meets just once every two years, the real legislative warfare happens in these off-season hearing rooms long before the public ever sees a headline. Taking the witness chair was Sam Westrop, head of Islamic Watch at the Middle East Forum and a senior fellow at the Texas Public Policy Foundation. Rather than offering political rhetoric, Westrop submitted a detailed, written filing directly into the official public record – a permanent document titled Sharia Finance in Texas.
The filing methodically detailed over a dozen financial entities operating within the state, highlighting major institutions like Guidance Residential, which reports over $2 billion in home financing, and Sharia Portfolio, with over $3 billion in globally managed assets. The record also named key operational firms and financial groups including Ijara CDC, University Islamic Financial, Amana Mutual Funds, and A Continuous Charity.Westrop’s testimony mapped out links between these domestic entities and foreign networks tied to radical Islamist currents – including Deobandi, Salafi, and Qutbist ideology – as well as state actors in Malaysia and Iraq.
More critically, the testimony traced the financial ecosystem back to the Islamic Development Bank, a multilateral financial institution whose major shareholders include the governments of Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. According to the filed record, this global institution has quietly funneled millions into state-level non-profits, mosques, and local educational institutions – including a $3.5 million expansion of the Austin Peace Academy, located in the heart of the Texas capital.
Following Westrop, senior fellow Ammon Blair outlined actionable enforcement mechanisms for state lawmakers. Recognizing that federal authorities hold exclusive power over international terrorist designations, state officials are turning to robust transparency laws – a domain where state authority remains unchallenged.
To counter foreign influence, the proposed Texas legislative strategy focuses on a three-tier framework centered on state-level oversight and financial transparency. First, the state would mandate full financial disclosure for local entities, requiring them to reveal their governance boards, corporate structures, and foreign backers. Second, lawmakers would establish systematic state-level vetting, subjecting any organization seeking tax privileges, state contracts, or land acquisitions to rigorous audits. Finally, the framework applies network-level enforcement, allowing regulators to track and restrict entire foreign-tied funding pipelines rather than evaluating entities in isolation.
The proposed framework urges state lawmakers to:
Build a State-Level Transparency Registry: Mandate comprehensive disclosures revealing who finances local institutions, who sits on governance boards, and where capital originates.
Implement Network Auditing: Require thorough vetting for any organization seeking state contracts, tax privileges, or land acquisitions, treating foreign-backed funding networks as unified systems rather than isolated entities.
Impose Strict Penalties: Enforce clear statutory consequences for organizations with verified ties to hostile foreign interests or designated foreign threats.
While representatives for the named financial entities maintain that their operations are fully compliant with standard commercial banking rules, and CAIR continues to dismiss state actions as political maneuvering, the official state record tells a clear story.
Attorney General Ken Paxton’s escalating lawsuit to strip CAIR of its ability to operate on Texas soil isn’t just local legal drama—it’s the frontline of a quiet revolution. States are finally realizing they don’t have to wait for Washington’s permission to defend their borders, their land, and their financial systems from unvetted foreign capital.
When the Texas Legislature gavels back in this January, lawmakers won’t be starting from scratch or relying on soundbites. Sitting on the shelf is a cold, fully documented financial paper trail—a line-by-line blueprint that hands states the exact model to police foreign influence on American soil.
Jihad is at the core of the “religion of peace.” Jihad occupies most of Islam’s theology and concerns. Jihad is addressed in 9% of the Mecca Quran; 24% of the Median Quran; and in 67% of the Sira. True to form, Muslims claim that the emphasis on jihad is about the individual battling his own faults and flaws, the so-called “greater jihad,” and not that of battling others, the “lesser jihad.”
As a matter of fact, only 2% of the jihad of the Hadith refers to the greater jihad, while the other 98% is about the lesser jihad, or the jihad of the sword.
The Menace of Jihadism
Bewildered by what fanatic Muslims do, some conclude that they must be brainwashed. Otherwise, how can their totally irrational belief system and often self-destructive actions be explained? But the notion of “brainwashing” that is bandied about is the stuff of science fiction and Hollywood movies such as The Manchurian Candidate.
The human person arrives in this world with his brains already washed, in the sense of being what John Locke called the tabula rasa, blank slate — ready for experience to imprint its script on it. John Locke was only partially correct. The brain also arrives with numerous predispositions already in place. It is a combination of life’s influences and a person’s own decisions that determine which of these dispositions develop and which ones fail. It is through this process that a unique human being is formed.
Many animals come with already in-place programs that automatically run much of their lives. Birds’ migration, mating courtship and thousands of other complex behaviors are instances of this type of specific programming. A catchword for this type of behavior is “instinct.” As a rule, the higher the organism the less is its rigid pre-programing and the greater its latitude to exercise choices.
Making choices depend on what there is to choose from and to what extent a given choice appeals to that person. And the human newborn enters the arena of life without the means of being other than a passive recipient of “things” already chosen for him.
It is like the old joke by Henry Ford, who reportedly told his customers that they could have their choice of color for their new car as long as it was black. Things are almost as bleak for the new arrival. The newborn does not have any say in choosing his parents, his socioeconomic condition, his environment of birth and much more. All are already in place and he is to start in life from the context of his birth.
The development of a newborn in any family is importantly influenced by many factors, among them how hands-on the parents are; how religious they are, how severely they micromanage him in their efforts to make him not only a good person but also a person better than themselves.
Parents tend to live vicariously through their children by programming them, the best they can, so that children become or achieve much of what they themselves failed to become or to accomplish. This attitude covers all areas of life such as giving the child the education they didn’t have, helping him with fame and fortune, nurturing him to become a topnotch athlete and so forth.
It is a fact that early influences play a cardinal role in shaping the person. For this reason, for instance, the overwhelming majority of Muslims are born into Muslim families, Catholics into Catholic families, Hindus into Hindu families and so on. It is also a fact that the degree of religiosity ranges from mild to strong, with most people falling somewhere in between the two extremes.
Interestingly, two siblings raised by the same set of parents under the same influences may end up at the opposite extremes in their religious views and practices. It is here that the human dynamic of freedom of choice comes into play and steers one to one extreme and the other to the other extreme. Occasional extreme deviations notwithstanding, the great majority of siblings of a given family end up with various degrees of that family’s overall religious perceptions and other values. The same general principle of subscribing to a set of common values exists in all human groupings, in some cases with broad flexibility and inclusiveness while in others with rigidity and exclusivity.
In order to enjoy the privileges of belonging to a group, the person must also pay his membership dues.
The very young human faces, beginning the minute he can make some sense of the world, a bewildering array of mysteries, challenges, and enticements. There are questions at every step, fears, and hopes entangled with the need to survive and the hope to thrive.
Who am I? What is this world all about? What’s the purpose? What am I supposed to do and how? Where am I headed? People die. Where do they go? Endless questions with few clear and solid answers. The information booths available to him in the fairground of life provide him with answers that may help relieve his innate existential anxiety. And it is here that religion plays its critical role and holds great appeal. Religion provides a surefire answer to those who are willing to take it on faith.
And Islam is a powerful magnet for the masses that are unable to deal with the uncertainties of life and death on their own. It is from this population, many already thoroughly indoctrinated from birth, that most diehard jihadists emerge.
It is the bargain the jihadist makes. He surrenders totally to the religion of surrender in exchange for a blanket security. Islam gives him all the answers he really seeks for dealing with this world and promises him a most lush and eternal paradise of Allah once he leaves it—all of course contingent on being a male. And leaving this world in perfect submission as the foot-soldier of the paradise’s creator gives the faithful unimaginably glorious sensual eternal reward in his next life, he is promised. It’s a bargain that some buy in whole, some in part, some refuse and seek other means of dealing with their questions and the unrelenting existential anxiety.
The great majority of jihadists emanate from the ranks of those born into the religion of Islam, simply because they are the ones who are most thoroughly indoctrinated and influenced by Islamic dogma in their most receptive early years. Yet there are few others who embrace Islam in adulthood, on their own, and enlist themselves as devoted jihadists for the same rewards that Islam offers them.
Islam has a great advantage of the first call on the new arrival. It is an omnipresent system with masses of believers, mosques and madrasahs, and a host of other social and economic organizations that overpower the person and steer him into the same fold; it is a sea of people who seem to know what they are all about, what life and death are all about, and what one must also do.
Within this sea of surging humanity composed of some 1.5 billion Muslims, each individual believer — a drop — through a combination of choice and forces beyond his control, ends up in one of its many waves. It is the jihadist wave that is highly attractive to the thoroughly indoctrinated and poorly adjusted in dealing rationally and independently with life. Here he finds the ironclad perfect solution to his anxieties and perplexities.
To a jihadist, death is nothing more than the casting off a shell of the worthless earthly existence and donning the suit for winging joyously to the life of bliss promised by none other than Allah’s beloved final emissary, Muhammad.
Eradication of jihadism is a daunting task. Massive education efforts, combined with resolute confrontation of all sources and people that support and promote this deadly philosophy, hold the best promise of dealing effectively with this affliction of humanity.
In addition to the family, places such as mosques and madrasahs, Islamic associations and charitable organizations, prisons, and the like are incubators of jihadists. Massive efforts are required, on the one hand, to drain the breeding swamps of the Islamic virus, while on the other hand helping Muslims adopt an alternative perspective of life that addresses their perplexities and offers a degree of comfort that religions dispense without pitting one segment of humanity against another.
In the monumental task of dealing with jihadism, every individual, group and government must combine their resources and energies to prevail.
The destiny of civilized life hangs in the balance. It is an unpardonable act of shirking responsibility for anyone to adopt the attitude of “let Trump do it.” Trump, is you. Trump is I. Trump is every enlightened human being and organization who values human liberty and dignity.

The Year of the Democratic Socialists took another twist Tuesday when the House went on the offensive to paint Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’s (D-N.Y.) party as a dangerous force of anti-Americanism. While the New Yorker has desperately tried to put some distance between Democrats and the DSA (somewhat unsuccessfully, others would add), the party’s drift toward mind-boggling radicalism is putting the entire country on edge.
The four-page resolution at the center of the House’s return to Washington this week “condemns and denounces socialism in all its forms, including the Democratic Socialists of America and opposes the implementation of socialist policies in the United States.” The brainchild of Rep. Jeff Crank (R-Colo.) spells out the wild ideas of the DSA, including abolishing prisons, ICE, the U.S. Senate, the Supreme Court, the Electoral College, and the presidency as we know it. Yet, despite those blaring red sirens, Jeffries’s rank-and-file are trying to dismiss the GOP’s concerns as “silly season.”
“Let’s scare people with yet another boogeyman and not do anything about it. Not really solve problems,” Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-Pa.) argued. But others, like Rep. Nick Langworthy (R-N.Y.), were quick to push back, reminding her that this is no hypothetical. “I’ve seen firsthand the alarming rise of socialism,” he said. “… Families in western New York have watched one-party rule in Albany pile on more taxes, more mandates, more government control, while hardworking taxpayers are left to foot the bill,” Langworthy warned. “And now downstate, we’ve watched the socialist left move more from the activist fringe into positions of real, serious political power. And anyone [who] thinks that these ideas are going to stay confined in New York City is sadly mistaken.”
“[S]cores of these candidates coming up through the system at the state level and congressional level,” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) emphasized on Saturday’s “This Week on Capitol Hill” with Family Research Council President Tony Perkins. “Almost 40 of them now have prevailed and gone through these primary processes, because … the energy, the excitement, the grassroots, the money is on the side of the insurgent Left, sadly, in the Democratic Party. They’re taking the party over. And this is not a game,” he said somberly. “It’s not a flash in the pan. This isn’t a New York City thing. It’s happened in Oklahoma. It happened in Florida. It’s happening in red states, and it’s something that we must take into account.”
And this extreme makeover of Democrats is happening at warp speed, Johnson underscored. “… [A] few years ago, Republicans and Democrats in Congress [were] arguing over marginal tax rates and shades of regulation. We are now quite literally locked into a contest to determine whether we’re going to keep our republic — to keep the country as it is, or to break this thing down to the foundation and go [down] an entirely different road and set of principles towards communism. That’s the balance.”
The speaker, who’s been crisscrossing the country with this urgent message, pointed to a new website that Republicans put together called ContrastForAmerica.com that lays out the grim history of communism and socialism. “It always — every single time — has led to human suffering, misery, famine, even to death and the murder of tens of millions of innocent people in the 20th century alone. We can’t do it. It’s anti-American, and everybody needs to wake up right now. That is what is on the ballot almost 65 days from today.”
Johnson pointed to some of the shocking platforms embraced by candidates vying for some of the highest offices in Congress. There’s Abdul El-Sayed, running for Michigan’s Senate seat, who won’t disavow streamer Hasan Piker for blaming America for 9/11 or for calling Jews “bloodthirsty pig dogs.” The radical Muslim, whose own anti-Semitism has earned him the scorn of even far-Left Democrats like Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), is frantically trying to make inroads to the state’s Jewish population despite more baggage than a Boeing 737.
Yet if he wins, El-Sayed will be one of the most powerful voices in Washington. These are people, the speaker cautioned, “who are so determined to rip the Constitution in half.” And when some of these candidates get elected, “and they will in some of these blue districts,” he concedes, “you’re going to have a number of effectively communists elected to Congress under the Constitution.” So what happens? “Will they disavow what they say if they raise their hand and they take an oath to uphold the Constitution? Someone would have to prove that they’re lying. It’s a very subjective determination. I mean, it’s a fascinating, untested, unprecedented question. Those are the times in which we live.”
At the end of the day, “They’re delusional,” the speaker shook his head. “They do not understand history. They do not understand how dangerous this is. And the idea that anyone who is currently sitting in Congress or the Senate, like [Senator] Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) or [Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.] or any of them … would align themselves with this madness is crazy. … And I’m sad to tell you,” the Louisianan lamented, “I say this with great sadness, I think it’s too late for the Democrat[ic] Party. I do not think they can push back.”
Conservatives will continue to, despite allegations from the Left that anti-socialism resolutions like the one the House is pursuing this week are unnecessary. Yes, FRC’s Quena González acknowledges, some of this is political strategy. But that’s not to say the threat isn’t real.
“Republicans voting for a resolution condemning socialism less than two months before the midterms is a classic election-year maneuver to find the lowest of low-hanging fruit. It’s a clever ploy,” he notes, “because Democrats in Congress are watching members of the Democratic Socialists of America win primaries and can’t afford to condemn them without risking their chance of retaking the House majority.”
Obviously, González acknowledges, “It would be easy for Christians to throw up their hands, discouraged by the electioneering and paralysis in D.C. But thinking biblically means that we do not have the luxury of giving in to cynicism and despair. We are called to be salt and light, to act for the good of our neighbors, and to pray for our rulers. And in America,” he urged, “praying for our rulers included praying for wisdom for our fellow citizens. Americans choose our leaders, but less than half of eligible voters vote in midterm elections. Bible-believing Christians have an out-sized impact when they vote wisely.”
Speaker Johnson is also banking on reason and common sense to prevail. “You can trust the American people when they are given the facts. And [if] they’re informed, they will do the right thing. We’re still a center-right country,” he insists. “We’re still one nation under God — no matter [what] these crazy, radical, leftist, anti-God, anti-Semitic, pro-terrorism [people] say. This is still America. And I believe God’s not done with America yet. And people are going to rise up, do the right thing, elect the right people who love their country, and want to preserve it and continue to make it better. That is the challenge. That is the choice. That’s the election before us.”

Executive Summary
This report examines Unity of Fields, a rebranding of the U.S. militant organization Palestine Action. It documents its ideological foundations, organizational relationships, tactics and role within the broader anti-Israel, anti-American revolutionary network in the United States.
By viewing Unity of Fields within this ecosystem, this report demonstrates how ostensibly distinct political, activist and militant actors function as interconnected components of a coordinated campaign against Israel, the United States and the Western order they represent.
The destruction of America is viewed as the linchpin for the group’s nihilistic agenda. Israel is also a primary target of the group, but America is viewed as bearing the “primary responsibility for all of Israel’s crimes.”
Ultimately, the group’s objective is not limited to Israel or confined to a single foreign policy grievance. Rather, it is the systematic erosion and eventual destruction of American power and legitimacy in the foreign arena and the dissolution of the country’s internal social cohesion.
Who is Unity of Fields?
Unity of Fields is the rebranded American branch of Palestine Action, a UK-based group founded in 2020 to promote and carry out direct and violent protests worldwide through targeted campaigns against defense and security companies that do business with Israel.
Using “disruptive tactics,” Palestine Action says it “challenges the corporate enablers of the Israeli state’s military-industrial complex and seeks to make it impossible for these companies to profit …”
Palestine Action
Palestine Action operates in a decentralized manner through “activist cells” that carry out acts of domestic terrorism. In the UK, the group has waged an escalating campaign of disruptive protests, vandalism and sabotage, primarily targeting Elbit Systems, an Israeli defense, security and aviation company, and the UK’s military and security infrastructure.
Members have also assaulted numerous police officers. At one protest alone, 17 officers were assaulted by Palestine Action protesters.
During an August 2024 break-in into an Elbit facility in Filton, Palestine Action activists struck UK police officer Kate Evans in the back with a sledgehammer, causing her devastating injuries.
Cells have repeatedly broken into or occupied arms factories, company offices and related facilities, damaging buildings, machinery and vehicles with paint, hammers and other weapons.
In June 2025, Palestine Action UK activists break through the roof of Permoid Industries in Durham to destroy a shipment of ammunition containers being built for Israel. The attack caused significant damage to the structure and internal areas.
After the group infiltrated a Royal Air Force base in June 2025 and defaced two Airbus Voyager refuelling aircraft (part of UK’s national security infrastructure), the government moved against them.
In July 2025, the group was designated a terrorist organization by the UK.
Palestine Action Rebranded
Palestine Action US was co-founded by communist and radical activist Calla Walsh. The group’s earliest activity was its participation in a Nakba event on Capitol Hill organized by House Representative Rashida Tlaib in May 2023. Nakba, translated as “catastrophe,” is how Palestinians refer to the founding of the state of Israel in 1948.
The group went into high gear after the October 7, 2023, terrorist attack on Israel by Hamas. Its primary actions were vandalizing, obstructing and sabotaging Elbit facilities in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Merrimack, New Hampshire.
By February of 2024, Walsh was facing multiple felony charges, including rioting, property damage, conspiracy to commit criminal mischief, burglary and conspiracy to commit falsifying physical evidence following her arrests in two states after participating in violent protests at Elbit Systems in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Merrimack, New Hampshire.
Calla Walsh was arrested in two states in late 2023 after Walsh participated in violent anti-Israel incidents where Walsh’s group damaged and vandalized Elbit Systems facilities. Walsh faces multiple charges, including riot, sabotage and vandalizing property. Walsh’s arrests occurred during an Israeli war against Hamas terrorists after the Hamas massacre of 1,200 Israeli Jews on October 7, 2023.

Calla Walsh, who founded Palestine Action and spearheaded its foray into direct and militant activism in the U.S., grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The daughter of Chris Walsh, a Boston University English professor, she attended the Winsor School, a top private school for girls in Boston requiring an annual tuition payment of more than $60,000.
Walsh’s activism began at the age of 15 due to her concerns about the “climate crisis.” In 2020, at age 17, she gained prominence for her organizing on behalf of Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.). She later appeared frequently in the media as a voice for young activists supporting Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).
However, Markey’s support of Israel during Operation Guardian of the Walls left Walsh feeling betrayed. She claimed that Markey had “framed Israel’s violence as a ‘both-sides’ issue rather than calling it what it is: settler colonialism and apartheid.”
She briefly segued into activism with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), but that, too, proved not radical enough for her. By December of 2021, she had left the DSA.
Later, she would call DSA member and mayor of New York City Zohran Mamdani, a virulently anti-Israel activist, “Ziohran”:
In December 2023, shortly after founding Palestine Action US, Walsh wrote about her foray into electoral politics, stating, “The experience permanently disenchanted me … and made me question whether ‘accountability’ even exists for representatives of a capitalist, settler-colonial empire like the United States.”
She added. “I don’t work on campaigns anymore. History shows us that direct action, protest, and internationalist solidarity are far more effective strategies than appealing to the morality of elected officials who are in the pocket of the military-industrial complex.”
The same year, she dropped out of McGill University in Montreal.
Militant Activism

In February of 2024, Walsh, now 20 years old, faced multiple felony charges, including rioting, property damage, conspiracy to commit criminal mischief, burglary and conspiracy to commit falsifying physical evidence following her arrests in two states after participating in violent protests at Elbit Systems in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Merrimack, New Hampshire.
In a November 2023 interview with the Real News Network, Walsh spoke about the criminal charges against her. “…when I was in jail,” she said, “what I was thinking was that I would be ready to do it again and again and again and again until we shut these factories down.”
Unfortunately, the criminal justice system will most likely encourage that. In Massachusetts, three felony vandalism charges and one disorderly conduct charge were dismissed in July 2025, ending the prosecution against her.
In Merrimack, the original felony indictments (including riot, conspiracy, burglary and related counts) did not go to trial and were reduced via a plea agreement.

Walsh pleaded guilty to misdemeanours in New Hampshire and received 60‑day jail sentences with additional time suspended, plus conditions such as good behavior, community service, restitution and stay‑away orders from Elbit facilities.
Awaiting the determination of her charges, Walsh continued to post her extremism.
By late 2024, she had completed the 60‑day jail term and was posting her radical ideas.
In the summer of 2025, Walsh traveled to Tehran.

Walsh appeared on Iranian state television, stating, “We all have a duty, when we go back to the countries we came from, to share the truth we saw here and to struggle against Zionism and imperialism,” Walsh said. “Glory to all the martyrs! Glory to the Axis of Resistance! … Death to America! Death to Israel.”
She also weighed in on Charlie Kirk’s murder, posting that the murder was “great and all,” but lamenting that Elias Rodriguez, who shot two Israeli Embassy staffers to death on the streets of Washington, D.C. on May 21, 2025, didn’t get as much “celebration.”
In early 2026, while reports flooded in of Iranian anti-government protesters being shot in the streets by the Iranian regime, Walsh was still publicly defending the regime.
After the capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicholas Maduro by America, she used her outrage over the event to call for death against American soldiers.
Funding
In November 2023, James “Fergie” Chambers told Los Angeles Magazine that he had been paying the legal fees of Palestine Action members arrested in various demonstrations. Chambers also stated, “I chant death to America every day…Imperialism is the death of humanity.” Chambers is an heir to the family fortune of Cox Enterprises, and is reported to have inherited hundreds of millions of dollars.
According to the NH Journal, Chambers was the founder of a Marxist commune in the Berkshires. He was once a Catholic convert and outspoken abortion opponent who defended free markets, but now praises Russia’s Vladimir Putin and supports Moscow’s war against Ukraine.
He later moved to New Hampshire due to the state’s tax and firearms laws. Following the Elbit incident, Chambers has been living in Tunisia (which does not have an extradition treaty with the United States).
The NHJournal reported that “before leaving the country, Chambers was under FBI investigation. Walsh, described by critics as his acolyte, now travels internationally with no apparent restrictions.”

James Chambers [Fergie Chambers] is an armed communist agitator who has promoted incitement and was arrested at a violent anti-Israel protest as an organizer with Palestine Action US.
New Mission
Following Walsh’s release from prison in August 2024, Palestine Action US rebranded as “Unity of Fields.” The group defined its new mission as establishing an “Anti-imperialist propaganda front for the international popular cradle of resistance.”
The rebranded group announced it was moving away from “passive solidarity” with Palestinians and moving to active participation in what it terms the “new front of insurgency” within the United States. This strategy involves the dissemination of “militant propaganda” designed to normalize illegal actions and encourage protestors to clash with law enforcement.
The group aims to encourage and mobilize “affinity networks” of radical, far-left anti-Israel organizations to carry out militant direct actions, i.e., vandalism, particularly targeting Jewish and Zionist institutions, universities and law enforcement.
On social media, the group shares and glorifies “anonymous submissions” that document and glorify these acts of violence, urging its followers to carry out similar acts. It posts manifestos of activists and manuals featuring instructions on how to take “direct action.”
The group’s name invokes the Houthi terrorist group Ansar Allah, as they explained, “The meaning of the unity of the fields is that we are all one hand, one leadership, one direction, one goal, and one approach, and any attack on any of the components of the Axis is considered a direct attack on us.”
“We don’t mean unity for unity’s sake, but the protracted struggle it will take to reach a principled, higher unity against the forces of imperialism, Zionism, and fascism,” they continued.
Following the name change, Unity of Fields was removed from Instagram, most likely for encouraging violence.
Objective: Civil War
As the 2024 election approached, Unity of Fields revealed its goal: to be an anarchist disrupter in society. On its website, the group wrote:
“The illusion of ‘choice’ in US elections is just that — an illusion. The choice is not between a greater and lesser evil, ‘Democrat’ and ‘Republican’ … the liberal and fascist wings of the empire … are all proudly united in their goal to preserve the global hegemony of the US-zionist death machine, the greatest evil this world has ever seen.
“Our real choice is between rejecting this political theater or falling for it … We choose revolutionary defeatism, which means turning the imperialist war into a civil war, or, in fewer words: BRING THE WAR HOME.”
In October 2024, then-Senator Marco Rubio called on the Department of Justice to investigate the group for acts of domestic terrorism. The group, clearly spooked, subsequently posted, “Unity of Fields is not Palestine Action US or any sort of direct action group – we don’t do direct actions, we only report on them and receive anonymous submissions.”
The post clearly contradicted an August 28, 2024 post saying, “Palestine Action US is not over, but our platforms are transforming into Unity of Fields …” as well as the following post:
In July 2025, Walsh announced that she was no longer affiliated with the group after the organization “purged” her. “I complied with the decision and transferred them ownership of the accounts,” Walsh added.
The rest of the group remains anonymous.
Extremist Ecosystem
Unity of Field operates within a deliberately tiered structure composed of inside groups, outside groups,and militant groups. Each tier serves a distinct function while reinforcing the others, allowing the movement to exert pressure across political, cultural and physical domains simultaneously.
Inside groups pursue power from within existing democratic institutions. Organizations such as the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) focus on electoral politics, candidate endorsement, policy influence, and institutional capture.
When not in positions of power, these groups operate as part of the activist front. They mobilize protests, leverage public outrage and expand their ranks through grievance-driven campaigns.
Electoral engagement and street-level activism are not competing strategies. They are mutually reinforcing components of a long-term project to reshape the state from within.
These inside actors work in close coordination with outside groups, which operate without the constraints of electoral legitimacy. Organizations such as Within Our Lifetime, Al-Awda, the Party for Socialism and Liberation and The People’s Forum reject canvassing and conventional political participation.
Instead, they function as radicalizing forces, identifying sympathetic politicians and pushing them further toward ideological extremism. Even when nominally aligned with those in power, these groups maintain an oppositional posture. They apply constant pressure through disruptive protests and public confrontation.
Arrests, when they occur, are overwhelmingly limited to low-level protest violations and today carry minimal long-term consequences. This reinforces a culture of impunity.
At the furthest end of this spectrum are militant organizations. These are groups that have concluded that institutional engagement and mass protest are insufficient. While their ideology, messaging and protest aesthetics closely mirror those of inside and outside groups, their tactics often escalate toward criminality and domestic extremism.
These organizations engage in coordinated vandalism, sabotage and property destruction, often resulting in tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage. They openly incite criminal behavior, glorify violence and celebrate acts of terrorism and murder as legitimate forms of resistance.
Unity of Fields belongs squarely within this final category.

The Democratic Socialists of America has made no secret of how it views elected office. The remarkable thing is that almost no one seems to have noticed.
At its 2025 national convention, the DSA passed a package of electoral measures drafted by members of the organization’s National Electoral Commission. One of those measures, called “Focused National Endorsements,” established new criteria governing which candidates can receive the DSA’s national endorsement and support.
And one requirement in particular is striking.
Candidates are expected to “view themselves as socialist organizers first, and legislators second.”
Read that again: organizers first, legislators second.
This raises a question that every voter should be asking when a nationally endorsed DSA candidate appears on the ballot: If elected, whom does that person actually represent—his constituents or the socialist movement?
The DSA’s other requirements help answer that question. Candidates are expected to encourage people to join the organization, help grow their local DSA chapter, and develop DSA leaders through their campaigns.
For the DSA, then, electoral success serves a purpose beyond winning office or passing legislation. It is also meant to help build the DSA itself.
That stands in sharp contrast to the traditional American understanding of representative government.
James Madison, writing in Federalist Paper No. 57, described republican government as a system intended to select rulers possessing the “wisdom to discern, and most virtue to pursue, the common good of the society.” He also stressed the importance of representatives maintaining “fidelity and sympathy with the great mass of the people.”
John Adams made a related point in “Thoughts on Government,” written in 1776 as the colonies were creating new political institutions. A representative assembly, he argued, “should be in miniature, an exact portrait of the people at large. It should think, feel, reason, and act like them.”
Adams’ emphasis was on whom a representative assembly ultimately belongs to: the people.
Madison, meanwhile, also warned about the danger of factions in Federalist Paper No. 10. He feared that groups driven by a common passion or interest could sacrifice “the public good and the rights of other citizens” to their own objectives. The constitutional system was designed in part to prevent precisely that kind of narrow interest from overwhelming the broader good.
Seen in that light, the DSA’s choice of words is especially revealing.
To be sure, an elected official will inevitably have political convictions. He may belong to a party, campaign on a platform, and make promises about the policies he intends to pursue. But once in office, he represents an entire constituency, including people who opposed him at the ballot box.
Serving that broader constituency requires judgment. As circumstances change, unforeseen issues arise, and competing interests have to be weighed. An elected official remains accountable to the voters, but accountability is not the same thing as obedience to a political organization.
Of course, political parties expect their candidates to support their programs.
But there is an important difference between sharing a group’s principles and declaring that one’s main role after election is to remain an organizer for that group.
Members of Congress do not take an oath to the Republican Party, the Democratic Party, or the Democratic Socialists of America. They swear to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. Public office is a public trust rooted in our constitutional system, not a franchise granted by a political movement.
The DSA has attracted plenty of attention in recent years for its radical positions on capitalism, policing, Israel, and other issues. Those policies deserve scrutiny. But Americans should also scrutinize the assumptions the organization brings to elected office itself.
The DSA says its candidates are socialist organizers first. Voters should remember that before making them legislators.

There is a quality of frenzy about Piker that repels moderate Americans who love the country and who exist in both parties and as independents. Piker’s Maoist rants and his long list of transgressive assaults on norms are having a cumulative impact on Democrats because Piker, like the DSA as a whole, is understood to be the future of the Democratic Party, not a fringe figure who can’t break onto stages with candidates…. Most voters want a better life for themselves and their families. They don’t want the French Revolution or the Russian Revolution or Mao’s or Castro’s murderous reigns of terror.
