PODCAST: Why do Jews support Rashida Tlaib Israel entry?

With all the gremlins in the system last week when we were talking with BARRY SHAW in Netanya, we never got to hear everything Barry wanted to raise and discuss on the Tlaib – Omar hateful crap, so we asked Nothing Left’s MICHAEL BURD to touch base with BARRY again.

Tlaib, Omar, the Democrats and progressive Liberal Jews, Barry and Michael have them well and truly covered.

Please check out the thoughts and writing of our good friend JUSTIN AMLER at the 30-minute mark, simply brilliant.

It is important to understand that the human mind is not a perfect discerner of the objective reality. It is said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Similarly, it can be said that reality is in the mind of the beholder. The outside world only supplies bits and pieces of raw material that the mind puts together to form its perception—reality. Depending on the type and number of bits and pieces that a given mind receives and its already in-place data, its reality can be very different from that of another mind.

The more prescribed and homogeneous a group, the greater is the group’s consensual reality, since the members share much in common experiential input and reinforce each other’s’ mindset. Thus, members of a given religious order, for instance, tend to think much more similarly to one another than to members of other groups with different experiential histories.

Various approximations of the objective reality, therefore, rule the mind. The degree to which these approximations deviate from the larger group’s consensual reality determines its delusional extent and severity.

A narcotic mainliner, for instance, under the influence of the drug, may become convinced that a bug is burrowing under his skin. In his absolute, although clearly false, certitude of the reality of his perception, cocaine users are known to take a knife to their own body to dig the burrowing bug out before it has penetrated too deeply.

A methamphetamine user’s reality is often distorted in a different way. Under the influence of the drug, an intense paranoia overtakes him. His reality is dominated by the belief that one or more people are lurking about to harm or kill him. He may wield a deadly weapon, going from room to room, from closet to closet, in search of the assailants.

If you believe that a bug is camping deeply in your body, then you might go ahead and try to dig the non-existent bug out. If you believe that people are lurking around the house to harm or kill you, you go after them before they get you. If you believe that all the troubles of the world are due to the evil-doings of the non-Muslims who war against Allah, then you do all you can to fight and kill them, particularly since Allah tells you in the Quran it is your duty to do Quran (2:191-193) (3:151)

The drug-induced delusions are hallucinations. They are dramatic and usually transitory, while religiously-based implantation of ideas program the mind with lasting delusions.

Delusions, even when they are at great variance from the objective reality, can rule the mind without the need for drugs, or because of neurological dysfunctions or other factors. The young and the less-educated are most vulnerable to believe the claims of charlatans, con artists, and cunning clerics, as truth and reality.

A tragic example of the young’s susceptibility to induced delusion is the case of thousands of Iranian children who were used as human minesweepers in the last Iran-Iraq war. The mullahs issued made-in-China plastic keys for paradise to children as enticement to go forward and clear the minefield with their bodies ahead of the military’s armored vehicles. The children believed the murderers and rushed to their death, thinking that they were headed for Islam’s glorious paradise.

The repeated intense indoctrination of the children even changed the perception of some of the charlatan mullahs so that they, themselves, believed their own lies, took their own keys to Allah’s paradise and rushed to their death clinging to the plastic trinkets. Hence, some of the puppeteers, in this instance, became puppets themselves. Such are the follies and fallibilities of the human mind.

It is, therefore, understandable that many of the higher-up Islamic puppeteers, who are usually brainwashed from early childhood, devote their fortunes and persons to the implementation of their deeply engrained delusions.

Deluded by the threats and promises of Islam, Muslims, poor or rich, vie with one another in furthering the violent cause of Allah.

Many non-Muslims are also victims of a different, yet just as deadly, delusion. They believe that Islam is a religion of peace, only a small minority of Muslims is jihadists, and Muslims can be reasoned with to abandon the Quran-mandated elimination of the non-believers. These well-meaning simpletons are just as deluded as the fanatic jihadists by refusing to acknowledge the fact that one cannot be a Muslim and not abide by the dictates of the Quran.

Rejecting Every Premise Of The New York Times 1619 Project

There are a lot of lies, factual errors, misrepresentations, selective history and general nonsense in the New York Times’ 1619 project that are worthy of rejection.

According to the Times:

“The goal of The 1619 Project, a major initiative from The New York Times that this issue of the magazine inaugurates, is to reframe American history by considering what it would mean to regard 1619 as our nation’s birth year. Doing so requires us to place the consequences of slavery and the contributions of black Americans at the very center of the story we tell ourselves about who we are as a country.”

It is worth rejecting that slavery should be placed “at the very center” of our history. Was it a large and terrible part? Yes. It caused misery culminating in a bloody Civil War and its legacy endured through Jim Crow. But at the very center? Not the religious freedom that brought the first Pilgrims in Massachusetts? Not the idea of an upside down government that dethroned the king and put the people on the top and the government subservient (“for the people and by the people”?) That was a first in history, while slavery was a universal part of world history on every continent and among every race — both enslaving and being enslaved.

On the cover the 1619 Project, overlaying on a full-page black and white picture of a very dark ocean, are these words:

“In August of 1619, a ship appeared on this horizon, near Point Comfort, a coastal port in the British colony of Virginia. It carried more than 20 enslaved Africans, who were sold to the colonists. America was not yet America, but this was the moment it began. No aspect of the country that would be formed here has been untouched by the 250 years of slavery that followed. On the 400th anniversary of this fateful moment, it is finally time to tell our story truthfully.”

Picking 1619 is the worst of “journalistic” cherry-picking. There was no America until 1776. Before that, Florida and other South and Southwestern areas were variously Spanish colonies, or French colonies, and finally most were British colonies — all before the American Revolution created the new nation. Slavery ran most of its life in North America when we were all British subjects, or Spanish and French subjects.

This is crucial, because all of these nations — and all of the rest of the world — were practicing slavery at this time and had from time immemorial. Slavery was part of the Asian world, a large part of the Muslim world, practiced throughout Central and South America even before the first Conquistadors arrived, and importantly for our discussion, rampant through Africa by other Africans.

Most of the slaves transported to America were not captured by white slavers as depicted in the movie Roots. That happened, but the majority were simply bought from Africans who had enslaved nearby tribes they had conquered. It was a facet of Africa like it was the rest of the world, and to call it a uniquely American evil is factually wrong and dishonest. It was — and still is — a worldwide evil.

Slavery in the United States of America ran 87 years from 1776-1863. Or in President Lincoln’s famous Gettysburg Address, “Four score and seven years ago…” Just a fact, something journalists used to care about.

A common lie told today by leftists, and it is repeated in the Time’s 1619 Project by several of the writers, is that the “white men” who created the Constitution, did not see black people as fully human and not worthy of rights. This is also factually wrong. The northern colonies were packed with abolitionists — white people — who argued that this was the moment to end the atrocity of slavery, at the outset of the new nation. But there were other white people in the southern colonies, slave holders, who would not agree to form a single country to fight for freedom from British rule if emancipation were included.

It’s possible that the majority of the framers preferred to free blacks and give them rights in the newly formed country. But freedom could not be won unless all the colonies were bound together against the greatest empire on earth at the time. So the painful compromise was made to win freedom from Britain. And then, within a few generations, a bloody Civil War was fought almost entirely by white people to free the slaves. (About 90 percent of Union troops were white.)

The Times ignores this and misrepresents world history, our history and the founders and framers, by saying all of the framers saw blacks as subhuman. The publication is intent on doing this because as modern leftists they have an almost instinctive antipathy toward America and the very idea of American greatness. But more relevant to the moment, they are doing this literally to help beat Donald Trump and Republicans in 2020.

It does not require any special analytical abilities to deduce this. Times Executive Editor Dean Baquet essentially says so.

A recording of a full Times staff meeting was leaked to Slate last week, which then published a transcript of it. Baquet held this staff meeting two weeks ago to explain a coming change in coverage after the collapse of the Trump-Russia narrative.

“Chapter 1 of the story of Donald Trump, not only for our newsroom but, frankly, for our readers, was: Did Donald Trump have untoward relationships with the Russians, and was there obstruction of justice? That was a really hard story, by the way, let’s not forget that. We set ourselves up to cover that story. I’m going to say it. We won two Pulitzer Prizes covering that story. And I think we covered that story better than anybody else.”

Pulitzers are award by like-minded leftists. Only one type of story wins those. But despite two years and virtually unlimited legal and financial resources, Mueller failed to establish that the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with Russia during the 2016 election. Which essentially means those years of reporting got it wrong. But Pulitzers.

Baquet went on, and this really pulls the veil back:

“The day Bob Mueller walked off that witness stand, two things happened. Our readers who want Donald Trump to go away suddenly thought, ‘Holy shit, Bob Mueller is not going to do it.’ And Donald Trump got a little emboldened politically, I think. Because, you know, for obvious reasons. And I think that the story changed. A lot of the stuff we’re talking about started to emerge like six or seven weeks ago. We’re a little tiny bit flat-footed. I mean, that’s what happens when a story looks a certain way for two years. Right?”

But Pulitzers — unless of course they were just political accolades by fellow travelers and not about actual journalism.

Baquet:

“We built our newsroom to cover one story, and we did it truly well…Now we have to regroup, and shift resources and emphasis to take on a different story.”

That is, a different angle of attack on President Trump, since Trump-Russia it turns out was never really a story. The real story the Times will not tell is how we got a two-year special counsel investigation of an event that did not happen. Baquet, not knowing this would become public of course, just puts it out there openly.

“I mean, the vision for coverage for the next two years is what I talked about earlier: How do we cover a guy who makes these kinds of remarks? How do we cover the world’s reaction to him? How do we do that while continuing to cover his policies? How do we cover America, that’s become so divided by Donald Trump?”

Divided by Trump. Amazing. Baquet said the Times must “write more deeply about the country, race, and other divisions.”

And there it is. The 1619 Project.

“It aims to reframe the country’s history, understanding 1619 as our true founding, and placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of black Americans at the very center of the story we tell ourselves about who we are.”

“Reframing” history is just a deceptive way of saying “rewrite” history. And there is no conceivable way this does not inflame racial tensions and make us more divided. And understand, most news outlets across the country take their cue on story importance and framing from the New York Times.

The first lines of the massive project let it all hang out.

“Our democracy’s founding ideals were false when they were written. Black Americans have fought to make them true…”

No. Another premise to reject that just flat wrong. Blacks did indeed fight to earn their claim to them, as did whites. But the ideals were true and right — changing support for values does not in any way alter the moral standing of the values themselves. That would be self-evident to a non propagandist. Those ideas simply were imperfectly implemented, as mentioned above.

Our nation’s story actually is one of consistently moving closer to those ideals, striving through emancipation in the 19th century to the civil rights movement of the mid 20th century. Blacks have been fully equal to whites under the law in this country for 50 years.

But the Times will never tell that story.

Baquet told his staff that over the next two years, the Times will “teach” its readers to see race everywhere, to view every issue through race. Stories will strive to “reframe” each issue through the lens of race. The next two years just coincidentally happen to cover the entire presidential election cycle.

And that brings us to the final premise to reject: That the New York Times is a news organization. It is not. And it has not been for a long while. But it took its own mask off now. It is virtually self-described now as an anti-American, leftist, Democratic propaganda outlet — with some news stories sprinkled in.

No independent-minded person should think otherwise.

Islamists and Neo-Nazis Are Not Opposites – On the Contrary

You may think that Islamists and neo-Nazis/white supremacists are complete opposites. After all, they’re willing to take physical violence against each other to the streets. Both use the threat of the other one as a recruiting tool to boost numbers.

But their bitter enmity is surface level. When we look at the views of Islamists and neo-Nazis/white supremacists — what we will call for simplicity, the Far Right — we start to see the similarities.

For groups that hate each other, Islamists and the Far Right tend to talk about a lot of the same things.

Here are just a few of the views they share:

  • They hate gay people
  • They hate democracy
  • They hate Jews
  • They think women should stay at home to bear and raise children
  • They support use of extreme violence against their enemies
  • They are both obsessed with group identity
  • They are both obsessed with masculinity and the concept of “honor”

These are not accidental similarities. And, in truth, they are not different movements doing different things: They are fundamentally the same idea, just expressed in different cultures.

Before the French Revolution, societies were governed by monarchies, who ruled in accordance with the principles of their particular religion.

They may have claimed Divine right, or simply ruled in the name of a particular faith. The state was considered an extension of the family, with the King or the Emperor’s family at the head of it. He had a right to rule, just as a man had the right to rule over his household.

There was no concept of sovereignty of the people or universal rights or any of those ideas. There was certainly no separation of religion and state.

If you are interested in how societies transitioned into the ones we have now, see Clarion Project’s series on the First Amendment.

Since the late 18th century, a series of revolutions, starting in America, Haiti and France, brought democracy to the world. With it, they brought the concept of civil rights, separation of religion and state, rights for women, an end to slavery and a host of other positive transformations.

Both the Far Right and Islamists seek to reverse those gains. The objective of any genuinely neo-Nazi program is to empower a strong and powerful leader to create a powerful authoritarian state.

This project, it is thought, will bring honor and victory to the community, instead of the liberalism and decadence of the modern secular world.

Muslim Brotherhood and Islamist ideologue Sayyid Qutb’s febrile rantings about the raw sensuality of the American woman mirror the Nazi slogan of the woman’s role as restricted to “Kinder, Kirche, Kuche” (children, church, cooking).

Its misogyny and its broader political program go hand-in-hand: The power of the male in the home mirrors the power of the state in general — and the power of the state brings honor of the people.

It is violent machismoism taken to its ultimate conclusion and extreme.

Both Islamists and the Far Right look to the Crusades for their example. Online images of knights, in particular the Knights Templar, are used by the Far Right; Islamists glorify Saladin, the Crusaders’ nemisis.

The reason Islamists and the neo-Nazis both use rhetoric and symbolism from the Middle Ages and other pre-modern periods is that they see themselves in that context.

They view all of recent history as one giant mistake – a mistake that needs to be rectified through the point of a sword.

Perhaps this is why Vona Gábor, the head of the Hungarian Far-Right party Jobbik, praised Islam as a bulwark against globalization in 2018.

The connection of the Third Reich to Islamist extremism is well documented. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem personally met Hitler, and raised units of Muslim soldiers to fight for the Nazis. Muslim Brotherhood founder and leader Hassan al-Banna was so enamored of Hitler that he had Mein Kampf translated into Arabic.

The Islamist/neo-Nazi position takes same attitude to the world, just reflected through different cultural lenses. Once this is understood, combating both positions at the same time becomes a whole lot simpler.

Socialism Is Theft—Why Are Candidates Espousing It?

I recently preached a sermon on the subject of stealing in our church’s series on the Ten Commandments. And one of the points I made is that socialism is a form of theft.

I mentioned the slogan going around during the 1960s—“property is theft.”

But the Bible says, “Thou shalt not steal.” Implied in that commandment is the sanctity of private property—I’m not allowed to simply take it because someone else owns it. And the Bible does not say, “Thou shalt not steal, unless thou art the government.”

Socialism is a form of governmental theft. The government has no money of its own. It simply forcibly takes from Citizen A and gives to Citizen B. But, of course, the one who benefits the most from this socialistic scheme is Citizen C, the government bureaucrat who administers the welfare state.

Some of the wealthiest counties in the entire nation are the bedroom communities in the greater Washington, D. C. area, where government workers live, who administer all the many wealth transfer programs for our country.

To paraphrase George Bernard Shaw: if you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can always count on Paul’s vote.

The Bible teaches us to help the needy. That is all voluntary. That is the church’s job. When the government gets involved in the “charity business,” it is not only wasteful, it undermines the family, human dignity, and self-reliance.

It’s one thing to have a safety net for those who may fall through the cracks. It’s another thing to grow the size of the federal government and our national debt more and more with never-ending spending until one day, the whole thing explodes.

Meanwhile, we have leading Democrat presidential candidates who want to add more and more to our federal government spending. According to a Fox News poll, Elizabeth Warren is up to 20 percent as of August 16, and Bernie Sanders up to 10 percent. That represents a lot of Americans apparently buying into a socialist-type message.

Senator Warren may chafe at one using the term “socialist” to describe her policies. But big government is big government by any other name. To paraphrase Thomas Jefferson: Big government, small liberty.

One of Elizabeth Warren’s big promises is to forgive student loans. It’s tragic that so many young people have become so loaded with college debt. But these student loans are freely assumed debts. Why should everyone else be forced to pay for them?

What’s ironic about it is that many of these costly degrees really don’t confer much value in terms of gainful employment.

It reminds me of the joke about two women, who hadn’t seen each other in a while, had an encounter at the supermarket. One woman asked the other about her three children. One son had become a poet and had just received his master’s degree in literature. The daughter just graduated from college with a degree in modern art. But the third son? She sheepishly shared, “Well, you know Freddy. Freddy is still Freddy. He wouldn’t go to college—he became a plumber instead. By the way, if it weren’t for him, we’d all be starving.”

Virginia Prodan, an international human rights attorney, grew up under Communist Romania. She strives to warn Americans to never go down the socialist path. She came to the U.S. during the Reagan years, essentially as a political refugee. She wrote a book about her miraculous escape from an assassination attempt in her book, Saving My Assassin. I have interviewed her on the radio a few times.

She told me, “Socialism is the government starting to lie to you about free things, and you believe them…then the government establishes socialism. It gains power and transforms into a communist [state].”

If you disagree with the government under such a scheme, she notes, they will “kill you and take your property.” In other words, socialism is the gateway to communism.

When I asked her about why socialism was so popular today among young people in America, she responded, “They have been deceived by the same lies my parents and relatives had been deceived by, so many years ago—lies that led Romania to be transformed from a free country to a repressive, socialist government.”

Prodan notes that, “Few Americans know, even those who are dream about socialism, that the socialist leader, Vladimir Lenin, declared that ‘Liberty is so precious that it must be carefully rationed to ordinary people.’ Ordinary people are you and me.”

How many times must humanity, including parts of America, go down the socialist path before we realize the emperor has no clothes? The government has no money trees. We should listen to survivors of socialism and communism, like Virginia Prodan, rather than politicians who are essentially trying to buy votes with taxpayers’ money.

Pelosi and House Democrats draft resolution condemning Israel and attacking Israeli and American diplomats.

This is incredible.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is planning to pass a resolution in the House of Representatives condemning Israel and attacking Israeli and American diplomats.

Why?

She wants to pass it because Israel refused to allow anti-Semitic U.S. politicians into their country to meet with Muslim radicals, terrorist groups, and Israel Boycott organizers at the request of President Donald Trump!

You read that, right!

Pelosi’s resolution also:

  • Attacks Israel’s ambassador to the United States and America’s ambassador to Israel for carrying out President Trump’s request.
  • Declares that socialist Democrats in Congress will vote to withhold U.S. aid and military support from Israel in retaliation. And,
  • Gives tacit approval to the international effort by anti-Semites worldwide to boycott and bankrupt Israel.

We must stop them.

As you know, a major part of our agenda here at The United West (TUW) is to expose, confront, and wipe out “Socialist Anti-Semitic Hate” against Israel worldwide and in the United States.

I’m also sure you know that Rep. Ilhan Omar and Rep. Rashida Tlaib hate Jews and hate Israel. They are anti-Semitic to their core.

A few weeks back, Omar and Tlaib had a chance to visit Israel as part of an official trip by members of Congress.

They didn’t go.

Instead, they tried to set up their own trip to visit “Palestine” – not Israel but “Palestine.”

This description of Israel is straight out of hateful Jihadi propaganda.

During their trip, Omar and Tlaib hoped to meet with Islamic radicals, terrorist groups with blood on their hands, and “displaced Palestinian refugees” – meetings with Muslims who are leading an international boycott of Israel… refusing to recognize Israel’s right to exist… and who support a second Genocide to finish what Hitler started.

The United West works to expose anti-Israel hate in America, to hold anti-Semites to account, and drive anti-Semites out of the halls of Congress. I decided to share this story with you because you probably didn’t see or hear many of the details about what Reps. Omar and Tlaib tried to do in the “Establishment News Media.”

You also won’t hear about Israel’s decision to grant Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s a humanitarian visa to visit her 90-year-old grandmother – an offer that Tlaib spit back in Israel’s face revealing her real motive in pushing her “grandmother story.”

Here at TUW, we are working to create streaming videos, opinion pieces and policy papers about our country’s special friendship with Israel and our nation’s decision from the start to protect and defend Israel from attack.

But we can only do so with your support.

NOTE: To report “Real News” – news that the leftist controlled “Establishment News Media” ignores – we need your help.

Baby Killers

Trump Administration mandated that taxpayer-funded family planning clinics immediately stop referring women for abortions, maintain separate finances from facilities that provide abortions, and that both kinds of facilities not be under the same roof.

“Thou shalt not kill.” Exodus 20:13

”…I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live:”Deuteronomy 30:19

Remember good ole boy Johnny Edwards—actually North Carolina Democrat Senator John Edwards (1998-2012), VP candidate in 2004, and presidential candidate in 2008? Edwards is hard to forget because he burst upon the national stage as the golden-tongued lawyer who was famous for defending the rights of the unborn.

According to writer Douglas Johnson in National Review, “in 1985, John Edwards stood before a jury and channeled the words of an unborn baby girl. In his closing argument to the jury, Edwards conveyed what the unborn child, Jennifer Campbell, purportedly had been feeling hour-by-hour as her distress grew.”

“She speaks to you through me,” Edwards told the jury. “And I have to tell you right now—I didn’t plan to talk about this—right now I feel her. I feel her presence. She’s inside me, and she’s talking to you.”

Edwards won that lawsuit and went on to file at least 20 similar lawsuits in the years following, achieving verdicts and settlements of more than $60 million for his clients.

Johnson writes that 13 years after the Jennifer Campbell lawsuit, Edwards was elected to the U.S. Senate from North Carolina, but “…somewhere along the line, John Edwards lost his ability to hear the voices of unborn victims.”

Yep…that’s what happens when the poohbahs of the Democrat Party dictate that anyone who wants “in” to their baby-killer cabal get rid of that empathic feel-for-the-baby stuff and embrace their kill-‘em-in-the-womb mantra. And Mr. Smoothie did just that—became deaf to the pain of in-utero infants and on-board with the baby killers.

MR. PRESCIENT

It is chillingly accurate to say of the former pretty-boy senatornot to mention his affair with Rielle Hunter and the baby girl they had while his wife was dying of breast cancer—that he was a morbid harbinger of his fellow Democrats’ devolution.

While abortion was always their Holy Grail—a virtual litmus test for admittance into the world of their perverse values—even Mr. Edwards and his flexible morality could not have imagined that in January of 2019, the entire Democrat New York State legislature would give a standing ovation to the passage of a law that sanctioned abortion up until the very moment of birth!

That’s right, a law that gave the right to a mother—exhausted by labor and in pain—to decide to snuff out the life of her fully-developed, perfectly intact full-term baby.

Did these Democrats recoil at the very idea of this kind of savagery? Did they weep or wring their hands at the barbarity of it all? Did they stage a protest against the infanticide that is forbidden in both Hebrew and Christian bibles?

No—they stood up and applauded!

Writer Wesley Smith, in Infanticide Makes a Comeback, recalls a recent Senate bill—the “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act”—that requires any baby who survives an abortion to be treated with “the same degree of professional skill and care as [would be given] to any other child born alive at the same gestational age.” And the bill also would have outlawed infanticide.

Guess who objected to these eminently reasonable and humane guidelines in February of this year? None other than 44 out of 47 Senate Democrats who blocked the Senate from voting on this bill, including presidential wannabes Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, Kirsten Gillibrand, Amy Klobuchar, Cory Booker, and Elizabeth Warren!

WHAT THEY KNOW

Since Roe v Wade was passed in January 1973, over 61 million babies have been killed—legally.

To underscore the kind of vibrant lives of each of these babies—even at 12 weeks—and who these “pro-choice” candidates want to continue to snuff out, here is the clearest MRI of a pregnancy every recorded—only 44 seconds:

Every Democrat candidate for president has seen this or a similar film, and is also aware of the following irrefutable fact: Unborn babies feel! This is the conclusion of one of many studies—this one from Heidelberg psychotherapist Ludwig Janus, reported in February of this year.

“Babies in utero are happy…angry….fearful…and they like music,” Janus concluded. By eight weeks, the fetus has developed a sense of touch, by 13 weeks taste, at 17 weeks hearing, at 25 weeks sight, the miracles go on.

But none of this matters to people who think that the inconvenience of an unwanted pregnancy is worthy of infanticide.

And to think—one of these moral paragons wants your vote! Who will they target next—your disabled child, your elderly parent, your beloved pet?

THE PARTY OF DEATH

Clearly dazzled by the beauty of the NY State infanticide law, the governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam—a pediatric neurologist no less!—decided to go one better. Within days of the NY decision, he announced that, in his state, mothers whose babies survived abortion would and should have the right to kill their babies after they’re born.

“If a mother is in labor,” Gov. Northam said, “I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”

Disgusted yet? It gets worse.

IN LOVE WITH DEATH

If you had a measured conversation with a Democrat—in strict privacy and away from cell phones, microphones and cameras—and asked if he or she actually liked:

  • High taxes
  • Regulations that require months or years simply to add a room to one’s home
  • A weakened military
  • Billions spent on Sanctuary Cities to afford illegal aliens free housing, food, healthcare, education, on and on

All of them would tell you a resounding NO!

But if you followed up and asked, then how on earth could you vote Democrat? Reflexively, they would answer: ABORTION!

According to Sebastian Gorka, former Deputy Asst. to President Trump, in his recent article “Death and the Democrats”, “our existence as free men and women starts not with the right of association, or a free press, or freedom of conscience, or the right to keep and bear arms. Everything begins with the right to life. But in 2019—the Democrat Party “has quite literally become the political party of death.”

Gorka documents the grisly statistics: “The U.S. abortion industry that Planned Parenthood champions kills at least 600,000 babies in utero each year. For perspective, the 70,000 plus deaths last year from opioid overdoses is deemed to be a national crisis with federal and state programs created to staunch the flow of drugs into our nations and prevent needless loss of life.

“But more than eight times that number are killed as a matter of choice, not addiction or accident, and the Left celebrates it and wants more….the arch-eugenicist Margaret Sanger and Adolf Hitler would be most proud.”

RACIST DEMOCRATS

In fact, writer Patricia McCarthy reminds us that Sanger “founded Planned Parenthood to purposefully dispose of black babies—and the Democrat Party has at last embraced her cause openly and without shame.”

Pro-life advocates remind us that abortions are not only immoral but are racist, in effect decimating the black population.

According to Right to Life of Michigan:

  • More than 19 million black babies have been aborted since 1973
  • Black women have a significantly higher abortion rate than whites and Hispanics.
  • 36.0% of all abortions in the U.S. in 2014 were performed on black women, yet only about

13.3% of the total population is black

And Professor William D. Rubinstein of the University of Wales posits in his stunning article, “Legalized Abortion and the Triumph of Eugenics,” that “the total black population of the United States is about 40 million. Including the children and grandchildren of these 19 million who were never born, it is reasonable to assume that, without legalized abortions, America’s black population would be in the order of 70 million or even more.”

And fake news calls Republicans racist! Typical projection—accusing your competition of what you yourself are guilty of!

THE BANDWAGON EFFECT

The Democrat governors of New York and Virginia are not alone in their cravenly enthusiastic approval of infanticide. According to Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, Wisconsin Democrat Governor Tony Evers (who succeeded pro-life Republican Gov. Scott Walker) “is perfectly okay with…infanticide as long as it’s done neatly and under the watchful eye of a healthcare professional.”

“We have all sorts of issues to deal with in the state of Wisconsin,” Evers told reporters, “and to pass a bill [like born-alive] seems to be not a productive use of time.”

In other words, kill those pesky babies so we can get to the important work of raising your taxes!

Following suit, the state of Rhode Island, led by Governor Gina Raimondo—you guessed it, a Democrat!—just enacted legislation to make abortion legal up to the moment of birth, including partial birth abortions.

And we know that California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom is hunky dory about abortions at any stage, but ever so sanguine about the lives of career murderers. He just abolished the state’s death penalty, effectively sparing the lives of over 700 savage killers on death row.

Not to omit that last May, the Illinois House passed a bill to repeal the ban on “partial-birth” abortions, and the Illinois Senate did them one better by expanding abortions through nine months and requiring insurance companies to provide coverage—and Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed it in June.

Democrat depravity marches on!

Anti-Semitism @CNN

A major part of our mission here at The United West (TUW) is to expose and eradicate Anti-Semitism throughout the United States and around world.

Whether it is the rise of Anti-Semitism among Socialist Democrats in Congress and efforts by some to end our nation’s support of Israel to opposing boycotts against Jewish businesses and condemning terrorist attacks on Synagogues around the world, TUW stands front and center in the defense of Jewish peoples everywhere.

This is why I am writing you today.

Nowhere is Anti-Semitism more pernicious – more damaging – than in the field of journalism. As a friend once told me, journalism is history one day at a time.

So when an “important news organization” like CNN hires virulent “out of the closet” Anti-Semites to gather and report “the news,” it is critically important that we point them out and abolish their influence.

Recently, CNN accepted the “resignation” of Mohammed Elshamy – a 25-year-old former photojournalist with the Turkish Anadolu news agency.

It turns out that Elshamy, who began working as a photo editor at CNN’s headquarters in Atlanta earlier this year, had a history of posting poisonous anti-Semitic tweets against Israel in general and the Jewish people in particular.

In one tweet, Elshamy reportedly celebrating the deaths of “Jewish pigs” and in 2011 referred to “Zionist pigs” while praising a Palestinian terror attack.

A statement released by CNN read, in part:

“The network has accepted the resignation of a photo editor, who joined CNN earlier this year, after anti-Semitic statements he’d made in 2011 came to light.

CNN is committed to maintaining a workplace in which every employee feels safe, secure, and free from discrimination regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or religion.”

If CNN really cared about this “policy position” why didn’t this so-called “news organization” conduct a background check on Elshamy before they hired him.

If they didn’t, that is negligent at best. If they did and hired him anyway, that’s worse.

It is important to note what CNN didn’t do when they fired Elshamy.

CNN didn’t publish their statement about firing him on their website… didn’t name the editor who posted the tweet… and didn’t mention the deadly terrorist attack on innocent Jewish civilians that Elshamy celebrated.

The Daily Mail’s Jordan Schachtel, who researched the details of Elshamy’s hate-laced twitter rant, wrote back saying:

“(Elshamy) “celebrated” a 3/23/11 terror attack at a Jerusalem bus stop…” “The bombing killed a Christian woman who was studying in Israel & severely injured a 14-year-old Israeli girl who would succumb to her wounds 6 yrs later. The attack injured 39 more.”

I decided to share this story with you because you probably didn’t see or hear anything about it in the “Establishment News” media.

And if it weren’t for you, TUW would not have been around to research or expose this story that CNN allowed to happen and tried to hide.

To educate Americans about the “Real News” – news that the leftist controlled “Establishment News Media” simply ignores – we need your help.

VIDEO: How We Reelect Trump in 2020

Democrats, fake news media and Hollywood are desperate to block Trump’s reelection in 2020. Their problem is Trump has been awesome for America. Our economy is booming. Blacks, Latinos and women are experiencing unprecedented prosperity as Trump continues to restore power back to We the People. Trump’s swiftly growing long list of achievements towards making America great again is extraordinary.

Democrats hope to win the presidency with their usual lies, addicting voters to government dependency and convincing everyone that they are victims. Therefore, the Democrats’ presidential campaign is built upon falsely branding Trump a racist white supremacist, promising free everything to everyone without anyone having to work and criminalizing speaking the truth.

Because Rush Limbaugh and other conservatives spoke the truth that our country is being invaded by illegals, progressives absurdly claim Limbaugh and conservative media are responsible for the El Paso shooting and must be silenced.

Frustrated over progressives’ domination of mainstream and social media, patriots have asked how do we fight back, insuring a Trump victory in 2020?

Brother and sister Americans, we must fight back by using our God given gifts, talents, ideas and resources to spread the truth about Trump’s remarkable long list of achievements beneficial to all Americans. We must counter progressives’ lies. St Augustine said, “A minority of truth will prevail as long as it is heard.” In other words, despite progressives’ attempts to bully us into silence, we must stand tall and continue spreading truth. This is how we defeat our anti-American enemies within. Do not think whatever you can do is too small or insignificant. Your little becomes much when you place it in the Master’s (God’s) hand.

I am using my gift as a singer/songwriter to fight back by recording my new Trump Train 2020 song. Singers from across the country will gather September 7th in Silver Spring Maryland to sing in the choir. Interested singers may email me at: mr_lloydmarcus@hotmail.com

Independent filmmaker Robert Kirk is a patriot brother who is using his gifts, talents and personal funds to fight back. Though as rare as Bigfoot sightings, Robert really is a conservative writer/director Trump supporter.

Robert spent $70,000 out of his own pocket to produce an award-winning hilarious promotional episode of his conservative comedy, “Alien Anthropologists.” Film festival audiences laughed hysterically as Robert poked fun and exposed all the bad players of the deep state’s silent coup against Trump’s presidency. “Alien Anthropologists” is a much needed salvo in the culture war raging in our country.

Because Robert is not taking a salary for writing, producing and directing the movie, he only needs $500,000 to make “Alien Anthropologists” a full length feature film. Still, raising funds has been a struggle. Robert will pursue crowd funding, but he still needs investors. Where are the conservative billionaires to fund a movie spreading truth in an ocean of Hollywood lying propaganda films?

Why do progressives always have so much funding to spread their lies? When Beto O’Rourke challenged Ted Cruz’s senate seat in Texas, my wife Mary and I flew to Texas to be boots on the ground, campaigning several months for Cruz. I was blown away by the disproportionately high number of O’Rourke TV ads compared to Cruz ads. O’Rourke had $38.1 million in his war-chest to spread lies about Cruz. Cruz only had $4.2 million. By the grace of God, Cruz defeated O’Rourke.

Progressives spend mega-millions releasing a plethora of propaganda movies which rewrite history, demonize American heroes and poke a finger in the eye of traditions and values which have made America great.

Progressives always find funds to trash Christianity and America. Remember when the National Endowment For the Arts awarded an artist with a $15,000 grant to place a crucifix in a jar of urine? The celebrated blasphemous art piece was titled, “Piss Christ.” A portrait of the Virgin Mary painted in elephant dung sold for $4.6 million.

Meanwhile, Robert struggles to raise a mere $500,000 to produce his acclaimed conservative comedy full length feature film.

Robert’s promotional Episode of “Alien Anthropologists” has won top awards at film festivals including at one of the most respected and longest running, the 51st Annual WorldFest Houston International Film Festival where his film was awarded their top Special Jury Remi Award for original comedy.

Please view the three minute trailer for “Alien Anthropologists” here or the 25 minute promotional episode at this link here.

Folks, Robert really needs your support to make his film for us a reality. If you are interested in participating in making this movie, please contact him. robert@rkirkpro.com

As I stated, it is imperative that each and every one of us do our part to reelect President Trump by spreading the truth about his remarkable presidency. Be creative. Write books, movies, plays, songs and so on. Those with political skills, use them.

Our airwaves are overflowing with darkness; insidiously evil, hate-generating lies about possibly the greatest president in U.S. History. Every time we spread truth, we are lighting a candle in the darkness. Remember, your little becomes much when you place it in the Master’s (God’s) hand.

Hollywood ruins ‘Blinded By The Light’ a movie that had potential

Hollywood took a real life story about a Pakistani-British family living in Bury, UK and sadly turns it into a politically correct propaganda film.

It appears that this fictional film was loosely based on a book written by Sarfraz Manzoor, a journalist, author, documentary maker and broadcaster. Manzoor’s book Greeting from Bury: race, religion and rock n’ roll is the basis of the movie titled Blinded By The Light, which is a quote taken from Manzoor’s book. At the end of the film Javed (Manzoor), played by Viveik Kalra, reconciles with his father. His father Mohammed drives Javed to Manchester University both listening to a Bruce Springsteen tape. A heartwarming ending indeed. But was it that way in real life?

In the forward to the book The Statesman wrote:

“A very personal narrative of love, separation, loss and guilt. At the heart of this book is the tragedy that only after his father’s death did Manzoor lay aside his resentment and being to get to know him . . . In the gradual negotiation of freedom, beautifully depicted in these pages, Manzoor reminds us of the deep sense of hope and rationality that lies at the core of both Islam and modernism.”

The movie is fine and even delightful when we see the young Javed (Manzoor) inspired by the music of Bruce Springsteen. The song that is of note, among many others, is The Promised Land where Springsteen sings:

Mister I ain’t a boy, no, I’m a man
And I believe in a promised land

The promised land is of course the land God gave to the Israelites. BibleStudyTools.com says this:

Promised Land

God promised to show Abram a land ( Genesis 12:1 ). After a long and perilous journey he pitched his tent in the plain of Moreh and the Lord assured him that he was in the land intended for his possession (Genesis 12:6 Genesis 12:7). However, he was a sojourner during his entire life (Acts 7:1-5 ; Hebrews 11:8 Hebrews 11:9). This land extended from the river Euphrates to the river of Egypt (Genesis 15:18-21).

To Christians the promised land also refers to Heaven.

Instead of focusing on Javed who is Muslim becoming more Westernized, much to the chagrin of his father, and more tolerant of others to a fault, the film goes off the good track to it’s real reason for doing Blinded By The Light, to highlight white supremacy in England in the 1980s. Yes, there was an anti-Pakistani movement in England in the 1070s and 1980s. But these protests are secondary to the story of a Pakistani boy with a dream of getting out of Bury and going to University. Today this young boy is now a man and having a film, loosely based on his book, hitting theatres world wide. That’s the beauty of the Western world.

It turns out that these so called “white supremacists” were right.

Peter McLoughlin published a book in 2016 titled “Easy Meat: Inside Britain’s Grooming Gang Scandal.” The book provides a detailed account of how the British media, law enforcement and government looked the other way while an estimated 1 million underage white girls were groomed, by gangs of Muslim men, for the pedophile sex trade over a period of 25 years.

This all happened because of the “sinister power of political correctness” because the victims “were mostly white schoolgirls” while their abusers were “almost entirely Muslims with darker skins. This meant the grooming gangs “could operate with impunity.”

The Quilliam report, Group Based Child Sexual Exploitation: Dissecting Grooming Gangs, by Haras Rafiq and Muna Adil, states:

During our time researching for this report, the numbers that we have found are, frankly, alarming. The over-representation of Asian-ethnicity (predominantly British Pakistani origin) individuals in this specific crime profile is conclusively irrefutable, and when this data reaches the public, we hope that it will an eye-opener for many and a point from which we can all move forward towards solutions.

This grooming (rape and prostituting) of under aged white British girls began circa 1991, Blinded By The Light takes place in 1989 and afterward. Watch the interview with Gavin Boby about the Muslim grooming gangs on the Jamie Glazov show:

In a 2017 BBC World Service poll 62% of British citizens had a negative view of Pakistanis.

Let’ be very clear, Sarfraz Manzoor, his family and the vast majority of Pakistani-British citizens of the UK had nothing at all to do with the grooming gangs. Nothing what so ever. As a matter of fact I believe Sarfraz is a man who wants to build bridges. He is a man of honor.

I don’t believe, given the ongoing revelations about Muslim grooming gangs, that Blinded By The Light will do anything to change public opinion, because the public now knows the truth. Sad but true.

Protesting the National Anthem

The American National Anthem — US Army Band courtesy of Anthems & Honors Music:

First it was a football quarterback, then it was a woman’s soccer star, and now it’s a fencer. And others in-between. These are American athletes protesting the National Anthem.

TIME magazine (8/11/19) notes that a 26-year-old male fencer representing Team USA at the Pan Am Games decried America because of “the multiple shortcomings of the country I hold so dear to my heart. Racism, Gun Control, mistreatment of immigrants.” And so on and so forth.

I like the hymn “America the Beautiful,” which includes the prayer that God would mend our every flaw. Certainly, there are many flaws to be mended. But I have a feeling that nothing would ever satisfy those who protest our National Anthem.

As a student of American history, I believe God did something special in the creation of this nation. It began with the Pilgrims who came here “for the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith” (Mayflower Compact, 1620) and continued through the Puritans who came in order to create “a city on a hill” (Rev. John Winthrop, founder of Boston, 1630).

Rev. Thomas Hooker led his Puritan followers to create the colony of Connecticut, and they wrote up the first full constitution on American soil, which helped provide ideas for the U. S. Constitution exactly 148 years later. The “Fundamental Orders of Connecticut” (1639) explained their whole motive for their settlement was: “to maintain and preserve the liberty and purity of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus.” This was all during the settling era.

But the Christian make-up of early America did not stop during the founding era. The Library of Congress notes: “The Continental-Confederation Congress, a legislative body that governed the United States from 1774 to 1789, contained an extraordinary number of deeply religious men.”

It adds, “Congress proclaimed days of fasting and of thanksgiving annually throughout the Revolutionary War.” These were not just namby-pamby prayers “To Whom It May Concern.” For example, the proclamation of May 17, 1776 by Congress for a “day of Humiliation, Fasting and Prayer” mentions: “the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ, [to] obtain his pardon and forgiveness.”

Jump ahead another generation, and we come to the era memorialized in the National Anthem.

The context was the War of 1812, in which we were again at war with England.

During this conflict, the British were able to invade Washington, DC. They even burned down the White House and the Capitol. Then they set their sights on the much more plush city at the time—Baltimore.

Meanwhile, Francis Scott Key served as the District Attorney at Georgetown, Washington, DC. During the War of 1812, President Madison authorized Key to negotiate the release of an American being held captive by the British in a fleet near the mouth of the Potomac River. This was on September 13, 1814.

As Key and his delegation set out for the negotiation, they were taken aboard a British truce ship and held as captives overnight—as the British fleet attempted to decimate Fort McHenry. The fort protected Baltimore’s harbor.

Through the night of September 13-14, Key watched helplessly as the British mercilessly bombarded the fort.

But when the morning came, at “the dawn’s early light,” Francis Scott Key was overjoyed to see the fort still standing, and the American flag still waving.

This incident inspired him to write a hymn/poem, dedicated to the “Defense of Fort McHenry.” The song, “The Star-Spangled Banner,” became instantly popular.

In 1931, Congress adopted it as our National Anthem.

Although we’re all familiar with the first verse of the anthem, many people don’t realize that the 4th verse mentions God: “Blest with vict’ry and peace, may the Heavn’n-rescued land

Praise the Pow’r that hath made and preserved us a nation!

Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,

And this be our motto, ‘In God is our trust!’”

Forty years later, Congress and President Lincoln took up Key’s suggestion and put “In God We Trust” on our coins, beginning in the 1860s. Nearly a century later, it was added to our paper currency. Also, in the 1950s, Congress adopted as our national motto: “In God We Trust.” It is still our national motto.

It’s a free country, symbolized by the flag and the National Anthem. So protesters of the National Anthem can protest all they want—without repercussion. But I think we should we should thank God for those who sacrificed to give us that freedom.

As founding father John Adams once put it, “Posterity! You will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your freedom! I hope you will make good use of it! If you do not, I shall repent it in Heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it!”

CNN’s Jake Tapper attacked by the ‘Islamophobia’ brigade; Leftist/Islamic campaign calls for his firing

A little background about CNN’s Jake Tapper: CNN was “slammed as ‘disgraceful’” after Jake Tapper remained silent when a guest accused Trump radicalizing “more people than ISIS.” Mark Levin has also stated of Tapper: “Now, keep in mind, it’s about Epstein’s apparent suicide, but Jake Tapper wants you to believe it’s about Trump.” Levin also said: “Jake Tapper’s a leftist. He’s demonstrated that time and again. Even though some fools out there are convinced otherwise, he’s fairly consistent.”

Despite his problematic past, Jake Tapper is now being defended by the more reasonable elements of society after he “made a passing reference to Palestinian incitement.”

Palestinian incitement warrants far more than a passing reference. Consider this point published in The Investigative Project on Terrorism:

If Saturday’s horrifying terrorist attack in an El Paso Walmart had taken place in Jerusalem, leaving 22 Israelis dead, the killer would rot in jail knowing his family would be taken care of, paid every month by his government. He might one day have a park, or a school, or a street named in his honor. He would be held up as a hero and used to inspire more killing. Children would be encouraged to follow his lead.

It’s a stark truth, along with the Palestinian Pay for Slay program, which pays jihadists and their families for the murder of Israelis.

But for a mere passing remark about Palestinian incitement, Tapper has committed a cardinal sin in the eyes of jihadists, stealth jihadists, and Leftist dhimmis (such as Jewish Voice for Peace). The frenzied onslaught against Tapper “seems to have started with Sana Saeed, a host and producer with Al-Jazeera’s online arm.” This is what she tweeted; take note, as it is the same tired intimidation strategy used by all Islamic supremacists. And Westerners just keep falling for it.

Then U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib jumped in. She “accused Tapper of “comparing Palestinian human rights activists to terrorist white nationalists.”

The gang-up continued, and now Tapper’s passing statement has morphed into something unrecognizable:

MPower Change, run by Tlaib ally and Israel-basher Linda Sarsour, then launched a campaign demanding Tapper’s firing. In addition to rejecting the very idea of a Jewish state as “creepy,” Sarsour spreads a blood libel that holds American Jews liable for police shootings of unarmed black people.

From a mild but truthful passing statement by Tapper to American Jews being held “liable for police shootings of unarmed black people.” Whenever any Westerner says something offensive to Islamic supremacists about their abuses or about their religion, that person will be dragged off to the woodshed and mercilessly flogged with the “Islamophobia” cane. It is an inescapable rule of thumb.

Blind Hate Drives Campaign to Fire Jake Tapper,” by Steven Emerson, IPT News, August 7, 2019:

If Saturday’s horrifying terrorist attack in an El Paso Walmart had taken place in Jerusalem, leaving 22 Israelis dead, the killer would rot in jail knowing his family would be taken care of, paid every month by his government.

He might one day have a park, or a school, or a street named in his honor. He would be held up as a hero and used to inspire more killing. Children would be encouraged to follow his lead.

This is by no means an exhaustive list of how the Palestinian Authority and others incite violence against Israeli civilians. But it’s why, in the wake of discussions about the role political rhetoric plays in attacks like the El Paso massacre, CNN anchor Jake Tapper made a passing reference to Palestinian incitement.

For the sin of invoking a real thing, Israel-haters are demanding Tapper be fired.

It seems to have started with Sana Saeed, a host and producer with Al-Jazeera’s online arm, AJ+.

“Collect your man, CNN,” she wrote Sunday after calling Tapper’s remarks “the height of unethical journalism.” That’s a charge on a scale with plagiarizing, lying or stealing information. What, exactly, did Tapper say to generate such an accusation?

“You hear conservatives talk all the time—rightly, in my view—about the tone set by, well, the Arab world,” Tapper said. “The Palestinians and the way they talk about Israelis, justifying … no direct link between what the leader says and the violence to some poor Israeli girl in a pizzeria—but the idea you’re validating this hatred.”

“You can’t compare the ideology of Hamas with anything else,” Tapper said, “but at the same time, either tone matters or it doesn’t.”

Sober viewers might note that Tapper is using the example of Palestinian incitement to ask whether people are being inconsistent in minimizing political rhetoric in the El Paso shooting. But Palestinian advocates blinded by a hatred for Israel are not sober viewers.

U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., accused Tapper of “[c]omparing Palestinian human rights activists to terrorist white nationalists,” and dismissing it as a lie. It is a lie, Tapper replied, because that’s not at all what he said.

He invoked a dead Israeli girl in a pizzeria – if Tlaib wants to argue the suicide bomber was a “human rights advocate,” let her do it on the House floor.

“Tapper distorted the violence in El Paso by invoking occupied Palestinians and Arabs out of nowhere and comparing them to the white nationalist shooter,” an MPower Change statement said. “… By inserting Palestinians and Arabs in a conversation about white supremacist violence, Tapper pushed the Islamophobic ‘terrorist’ narrative about Muslims and Arabs that’s been mainstreamed over the past few decades.”….

Millennial Becomes Unhinged After Boss Corrects Her Spelling of “Hamster”

Being simultaneously comical and tragic, perhaps nothing reflects our descent into Idiocracy more than millennials who’ll insist their misspellings of words are correct. Just yesterday I read an eyebrow-raising story about this that was quite timely, as I’d experienced millennial spelling moronity just the day prior.

My case involved a leftist who emailed me with some deep, substantive criticism: He said I was “insane,” “nuttier than a fruitcake” and “f*****g” nuts.”  I responded to him. While I generally don’t play the spelling Nazi, leftists’ characteristic superciliousness inspired me to mention to him, kindly, that he’d written “you’re” as “your” three times in six sentences. His response?

“I am under 40,” he wrote. “Your vs you’re is interchangeable.”

(Come to think of it, if that’s his I.Q., it would explain his answer.)

But on to the far more interesting and dramatic story I mentioned earlier. According to The Fellowship of the Minds (FOTM) blog, it’s from a series of July tweets by a Georgetown University adjunct professor of public relations and journalism named Carol Blymire; it relates something she’d witnessed. As the blog presents it:

In office space near a client, a young woman was meeting with her boss. She was (by my estimation) in her late 20s.

The boss (also a woman) was giving her feedback and reviewing edits she had made on something this young woman wrote.

They had been speaking in low tones, but their volume got louder toward the end of the conversation because the young woman was getting agitated about a particular edit.

That particular edit was correcting the spelling of “hampster” to “hamster”. [sic] Apparently she had used the phrase “like spinning in a hamster wheel” in this draft (presumably) speech or op-ed.

The young woman kept saying, “I don’t know why you corrected that because I spell it with the P in it.” The boss said (calmly), “But that’s not how the word is spelled. There is no P in hamster.”

Young woman: “But you don’t know that! I learned to spell it with a P in it so that’s how I spell it.”

The boss (remaining very calm and professional), [said] let’s go to https://t.co/n2ZU5Uuuy3 and look it up together. (mind you, this is a woman in her late 20s, not a 5th grader) [sic]

The young woman insists she doesn’t need to look it up because it’s FINE to spell it with a P because that’s HOW SHE WANTED TO SPELL IT.

The boss says, “Let’s look over the rest of the piece so I can explain the rest of my edits.” They do, and I can see the young woman is fighting back tears. The boss is calm, cool, and handles this with professionalism and empathy.

Boss says, “I know edits can be difficult to go over sometimes, especially when you’re working on new kinds of things as you grow in your career, but it’s a necessary process and makes us all better at what we do.”

Boss gets up from table and goes to her office and the young woman can barely hold it together. She moves to another table in the common workspace area, drops all her stuff loudly on the table top, and starts texting. A minute later, her phone rings.

It was her mom. She had texted her mom to call her because it was urgent, and I’m sure her mother maybe thought she was in the ER or something. She then … PUTS HER MOM ON SPEAKERPHONE. IN THE WORKPLACE.

She bursts into tears and wants her mom to call her boss and tell her not to be mean about telling her how to spell words like “hamster”. [sic]

The mother tells her that her boss is an idiot and she doesn’t have to listen to her and she should go to the boss’ boss to file a complaint about not allowing creativity in her writing.

The young woman kept saying, “I thought what I wrote was perfect and she just made all these changes and then had the nerve to tell me I was spelling words wrong when I know they are right because that is how I have always spelled them.”

She then went on (still on speakerphone) to tell her mom I’m very great and office-inappropriate detail about how hungover she was and what she and her friends did with some guys the night before. Mom laughed and laughed.

The colleagues in and around the workplace kept looking at one another and some even put earbuds/headphones in/on. It appeared as though this was a regular thing with her.

She ended the conversation asking her mom how she should bring this up with the boss’ boss. “I mean, I always spell hamster with a P, [sic] she has no right to criticize me.” […]

Based on the way her mom spoke to her and they way they spoke to one another, it seemed as though this young woman had never been told she was anything but perfect by family. […]

Her boss seemed as dumbfounded through the conversation as I was in overhearing it.

I think I was most perplexed by the insistence of wanting to spell something the way she wanted to because SHE WANTED TO, ignoring the fact that there are rules and dictionaries. And seeming offended that anyone would suggest the use of an outside resource as reference.

Had I been the boss, I’m sure the young woman’s tears would have flowed much sooner and more profusely. It would have been the result of the dressing-down I’d have given her. I was never one to suffer fools gladly.

The FOTM mentions that this isn’t an isolated case, either. In fact, the blogger, who apparently has taught in college herself, related a story about what transpired when an undergraduate complained to her about a poor grade she gave him on a paper. After telling him that she had trouble understanding his work because it was riddled with errors, he replied “I don’t subscribe to the rules of the English language!” and marched from the classroom.

It would be easy to chalk this up to “inventive spelling,” a phenomenon of recent decades whereby, instead of correcting a child’s spelling, a teacher will allow him to misspell words based on his phonetic conception of them. But it goes far deeper than that.

First, we live in the post-Truth West. A study I often cite vindicates this assessment, showing that less than 10 percent of teenagers believe in Truth (absolute by definition) and that a majority of Americans are most likely to make what should be moral decisions “based on feelings.”

Why is this relevant? If people believe Truth doesn’t exist and, therefore, that what we call morality (divine rules) is mere “perspective,” they probably won’t care much about man’s rules — especially since, by their lights, those rules can’t possibly correspond to anything transcending man. Their governing philosophy then becomes “If it feels good, do it.” This was evident in the young woman in the story, who, essentially, insisted she was correct because her feelings told her so.

Relating to this, there’s also the narcissism, the solipsism, the self-centeredness that results when you raise godless children on self-esteem bunk and treat them as if their body odor is a floral scent. And, related to that, there’s pridefulness, which precludes self-improvement. A humble person can accept correction, see flaw in himself and learn. The prideful person’s ego impedes great improvement in anything.

As for employees who are mere overgrown children, I’d respond to their antipathy for rules and their inventive spelling by giving them an inventive paycheck.

Pocahontas’ Presidential Run Should be Over

While driving on a beautiful day in West Virginia, I heard this news reported over my car radio. Democrat presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren said Michael Brown was “murdered” by a “white” policeman in Ferguson Mo. I became filled with anger. I thought, “This wicked woman’s presidential run should be over.” Everyone knows Brown was shot while assaulting a police officer in his patrol car while Brown tried to take the officer’s gun.

This insidiously evil lie by Warren tells voters everything they need to know about her. Obsessed with gaining power, Warren has decided that the lives of brave and honorable police officers and the lives of Americans potentially killed in a race war are acceptable collateral damage to achieve her goal – the White House.

My thoughts raced back to the heartbreaking Facebook post by 13 year old Jaden Ramos. Jaden’s dad was a NYC police officer who was assassinated along with another officer while sitting in their cruiser on special patrol doing crime reduction work.

Jaden and numerous other children of police officers lost their fathers because Democrats and fake news media lied about the Brown shooting in Ferguson and other incidents. Consequently, Black Lives Matter declared it “open season” on killing police and white people. Angry black youths responded with revenge assassinations of police across America.

Jaden posted: “Today I had to say bye to my father. He was their for me everyday of my life, he was the best father I could ask for. It’s horrible that someone gets shot dead just for being a police officer. Everyone says they hate cops but they are the people that they call for help. I will always love you and I will never forget you. RIP Dad.”

For Warren to reignite the “Brown was murdered” lie five years later is beyond the pale. Warren deceptively markets herself as having superior compassion for victims. In reality, Warren is cold and calculating; willing to say anything in her perverse quest for power to control every aspect of our lives. Elizabeth Warren is a despicable human being.

If you watch, people always show you who they really are. Years ago, I attended a meeting in Washington DC. I met a politician who sounded great. After the meeting, away from cameras and microphones, he treated his assistant humiliatingly. My opinion of him suffered.

Just like her fake Indian heritage, Warren has shown us that her self-proclaimed superior compassion is fake also.

Warren’s irresponsible lie about the circumstances of Brown’s death so infuriated me because it sent a clarion call to blacks to kill more cops. I have had my fill of Democrats instigating hate, violence and divisiveness while falsely portraying themselves as paragons of superior compassion. Meanwhile, Democrats’ fake news media buddies demonize decent everyday Americans for opposing socialism and anti-Americanism.

Does character matter when selecting our leaders? Absolutely.

“When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” Proverbs 29:2.

President George Washington said, “…a good moral character is the first essential in a man…It is therefore highly important that you should endeavor not only to be learned but virtuous.”

Presidential candidates Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris and their fellow Democrats instigating the murdering of police by continuing to lie about Michael Brown is the polar opposite of virtuous.

The people “have a right, an indisputable, unalienable, indefeasible, divine right to that most dreaded and envied kind of knowledge– I mean of the character and conduct of their rulers.” John Adams

The qualities of a great man are “vision, integrity, courage, understanding, the power of articulation, and profundity of character.” Dwight Eisenhower

Character is the only secure foundation of the state.” Calvin Coolidge

Americanism is a question of principle, of purpose, of idealism, of character. It is not a matter of birthplace or creed or line of descent.” Theodore Roosevelt

Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.: “I desire so to conduct the affairs of this administration that if at the end, when I come to lay down the reins of power, I have lost every other friend on earth, I shall at least have one friend left, and that friend shall be down inside me.” Abraham Lincoln

Since having to defend President Bill Clinton’s serial adultery and numerous allegations of sexual assault, Democrats and fake news media say expecting character in our leaders is unrealistic.

Elizabeth Warren seated in the big chair in the Oval Office would be the equivalent of wicked Hillary on steroids; severely punishing achievers, disarming law abiding gun-owners, jailing political opponents, dividing Americans into groups that hate each other, persecuting Christians, killing babies after birth, crushing our economy and government tyrannically micromanaging our lives.

As president, Warren’s lack of character would reap horrifying and devastating consequences. Who in their right mind would vote for a presidential candidate who is complicit in the murdering of police? Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren must never be allowed anywhere near becoming leader of the free world.
