Gretchen Carlson, chair of the Miss America Organization Board of Trustees,  announced there will be no more swimsuit competition. Ms. Carlson said, “We are no longer a pageant; we are a competition. We will no longer judge our candidates on their outward physical appearance!”

Ms. Carlson pointed to “evolving in this cultural revolution” for the decision.

We decided to ask a select group of men about this “cultural revolution” shift.

Bill Clinton during his #MeToo book tour noted,

I believe that the Miss America Board of Trustees should consider a blue dress competition. This will allow the judges to not focus on physical appearance, no offense Monica, but rather on the content of their contestants’ characters, no offense to MLK. I have sent a box of premium Cuban cigars to Ms. Carlson.

Well done!

Bill Cosby, formerly known as America’s father, in a brief statement from his lawyer said,

Father’s across America and the world thank Gretchen for covering up our women. I have since converted to Islam and as a Muslim believe that the Miss America Board should consider a “burka competition.” Only then can the pageant truly become a competition. Only then will women be judged not by their appearance but by their submission to Allah, no pun intended.

Anthony Weiner tweeted the picture below to Ms. Carlson stating, “I was unfairly judged by my outward physical appearance. I commend Gretchen for starting a ‘new cultural revolution’ where men are not judged by their selfies to underage girls! #SelfieOn!”

Harvey Weinstein in a brief press release said,

I, like Bill Clinton, am a victim. I never judged women based upon mere outward appearance when on the casting couch for my films.

Just look at my film “Teaching Mrs. Tingle” as an example. Its a film about a hardworking and bright high-school senior, Leigh Ann (Katie Holmes) who has her impending status as valedictorian jeopardized when her bitter history teacher, Mrs. Tingle (Helen Mirren), gives her a poor grade on a project.

Obviously I admire mind over physical experience [sic]!

I fully believe that I will be vindicated and upon my release I will be asked to be a judge at the 2020, or maybe the 2070, Miss America pageant?

Wendy’s has re-released the below ad in the spirit of “competition”:

A Wendy’s spokesperson, a gender and physical appearance neutral term, noted, “We are proud to announce that we will be a Russian ruble sponsor for the 2019 Miss America Competition taking place on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Our motto will be ‘where’s the beef?’, no pun intended.”

Tens of Thousands in New York Cheer Israel’s 70th Anniversary

Seventy years  since the Jewish people with almost half their population was murdered in Nazi death camps the surviving Jewish people created a modern day miracle called Israel. No other country in modern times has ever survived a siege by its enemies for 70 years and survived, prospered and given so much to humanity.

Israel and the blue and white flag with its Star of David represents  the Judeo-Christian ethic and the Torah which is the basis our American forefathers used to create the Constitution.

Is there any question why so many people in America feel a connection to Israel and their people who struggle every day to survive against their enemies.

‘70 and Sababa’: Tens of thousands in New York cheer Israel’s anniversary with signs, song and wonder

The 54th annual “Celebrate Israel” parade in New York City on Sunday drew tens of thousands of people, who waved blue-and-white flags and sang Hebrew songs in support of Israel.

(June 4, 2018 / JNS) Beautifully crafted and decorated signs were in full display on June 3 at “Celebrate Israel” parade, many of them paying homage to this year’s theme of “70 and Sababa!” Others held by the tens of thousands of people from the New York and elsewhere focused on Israel’s unity, strength and freedom. One sign read “Israel @70: Still Putting Its Stamp on the Future,” while another said “70 Years a Free People in Our Own Land.” Some marchers held signs that said “70” or “SABABA” in big, bright letters, while others held posters that depicted Israel’s innovations, such as the navigation app Waze. Another group of marchers held a banner that featured pictures of Israel’s popular sites, such as the Western Wall, Dead Sea and the open-air Middle Eastern marketplaces known as “shuks.”

The America China Public Affairs Institute had a float that boosted Israel’s friendship with China by featuring an enlarged photograph of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and China’s President Xi Jinping. Another banner held by marchers read “70 years of turning desert land into green land,” and one group towards the end of the parade held signs with the pictures of Lt. Hadar Goldin and Sgt. Oron Shaul—two Israel Defense Force soldiers killed in action by Hamas during Israel’s “Operation Protective Edge” in 2014. Written on the same signs was a popular Jewish phrase that translates to: “All of Israel is responsible for one another.”

Prog off: New Rocky and Bullwinkle Season 101 approved!

I just watched the first two episodes of Dreamworks’ The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle 2018 on Amazon Prime (Season 101) – mostly to make sure that someone in Hollywood didn’t ruin the old favorite and/or resurrect the themes of Red Scare and Russian spies in order to perpetuate the Trump/Russia collusion narrative.

It turns out, I liked the remake even better than the original. Of course, I never watched them as a child, having spent my tender years on the other side of the Iron Curtain, so I may not have the right perspective.

Boris and Natasha look almost the same, only more angular and stylized, but with the same great pseudo-Russian accents. The Fearless Leader is now less East German and has more of a Russian accent. Talking about his motivation to control the world, he seems to be stealing his lines from Vladimir Putin:

As you know, for years, Pottsylvania has been the laughingstock of the Free World. “Pottsylvania is weak!” “Pottsylvania is stupid!” “What’s a Pottsylvania?” Well, the laughing stops now, when I unleash the full power of my doomsday device!

If the original cartoon placed his country vaguely in the spot where East Germany used to be, the new map shows Pottsylvania as an island in the middle of the Black Sea (it has no islands), right next to the Crimean peninsula, which recently had been annexed by Putin. I find it very clever.

The main difference from the original series is that now Rocky and Bullwinkle are being chased not only by Boris and Natasha, but also by the incompetent Homeland Security, headed by Director Peachfuzz, a crazy androgynous black lady. I don’t know if that’s intentional, but Peachfuzz is a great composite caricature of Loretta Lynch / Susan Rice / Comey / Clapper / Brennan and the rest of the notorious gang.

If ridiculing our bumbling intelligence leaders at other times may have seemed subversive, in the Trump era it’s spot-on and hilarious.

Sweeping DNA Study Supports Creationism?

In May, 2018 Mark Stoeckle Senior Research Associate in the Program for the Human Environment at Rockefeller University in New York and Dr. David Thaler Center for Molecular Life Sciences at the University of Basel in Switzerland published the results of a study in which they compared five million gene snapshots (DNA bar codes) collected from 100,000 animal species by hundreds of researchers around the world and deposited in the U.S. government-run GenBank database.

What Stoeckle and Thaler found upends evolution theory and appears to support creationism in several ways.

Stoeckle and Thaler reported:

  1. For the planet’s 7.6 billion people, 500 million house sparrows, or 100,000 sandpipers, genetic diversity “is about the same.”
  2. That species with large, far-flung populations—from ants, to rats, to humans—do not become more genetically diverse over time.
  3. That nine out of 10 species on Earth today, including humans, came into being 100,000 to 200,000 years ago.
  4. In analyzing the bar codes, across 100,000 species, found a telltale sign showing that almost all the animals emerged about the same time as humans.
  5. Species have very clear genetic boundaries, and there’s nothing much in between.

Elizabeth M. Economou in an article titled “New DNA Findings Raise More Questions About Theory of Evolution” reported:

“This [study’s] conclusion is very surprising, and I fought against it as hard as I could,” Thaler also told AFP (Agence France-Presse), the international news agency headquartered in Paris.

“What’s astounding to me in hearing about this study is that although evolutionary science is still not totally established, it is taught as unwavering fact in grade school through college,” a mortgage professional from North Carolina told LifeZette. “I questioned evolution and defended creationism in high school and was basically mocked by teachers. Now it turns out there is so much more to learn — and each step seems to strengthen creationism’s case.”

In his 1859 book, “On the Origin of the Species,” widely considered the foundation for evolutionary biology, Charles Darwin himself wrote, “If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ [structure], existed which could not possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight modification, my theory would absolutely break down.”

Experts see more questions ahead for those who support evolution theories.

“There’s a great danger to the evolutionary model in this study in ways they don’t quite realize yet,” Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson, a research biologist for Answers in Genesis, told OneNewsNow of evolutionary theorists.

It appears that science now gives greater credence to Genesis 1: 20-24,

20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.

24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

The truth is being revealed.

The Racism of Government Family Planning

New proposed changes in regulations from the Department of Health and Human Services will close the door on using funds from its Title X family planning program for abortion.

HHS’ Office of Population Affairs, which administers this program, is a poster child for ill-conceived government policy. How is it, in our nation that cherishes the ideals of human freedom and dignity, that we’re funding government bureaucrats to advise low-income citizens—almost a quarter of these “clients” are black—about how many children they should bring into this world and when?

Despite explicit language in the legislation that created the Title X family program in 1970 prohibiting funding “programs in which abortion is a method of family planning,” this directive has been effectively ignored.

HHS reports that 4 million individuals are getting services through this program. However, 1.6 million of them, 40 percent, according to the Guttmacher Institute, are receiving these services at Planned Parenthood clinics.

Given the millions that Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, spends on lobbying and political contributions, its success in keeping the faucet of federal funding of its activities open comes as no surprise.

But now the Trump administration is stepping up to enforce the law, with the positive additional benefit of protecting human life. You might say that our president understands that building a culture of life is a vital part of making America “great again.”

The new HHS order requires complete financial and physical separation of Title X funds from abortion activity. No Title X funds can be used for abortion. And abortions cannot be performed in any facility in which programs being funded by Title X are taking place.

Although Title X counselors will be prohibited from discussing abortion as a family planning measure, they can discuss it when a woman has already decided it’s what she wants. Then they can provide a list of abortion providers.

But as we think about this, let’s consider the bigger question. What is the federal government doing in the family planning business anyway?

The Office of Population Affairs describes, among the activities of its “Family Planning Mission,” offering guidance “to assist individuals in determining the number and spacing of their children.”

Given that this family planning guidance is targeted to low-income Americans, who happen to be disproportionately black, let’s consider what has happened to the black family since the Office of Population Affairs first began.

The budget of the Title X family planning program in 1971 was $6 million. Today, it is $286 million dollars, an increase of fiftyfold. What have we gotten?

In 1970, 38 percent of black babies were born to unwed mothers. Today it is more than 70 percent.

In 1960, 10 years before the program started, 2 percent of black children lived with an unmarried parent. By 2008, 41 percent did.

In 1960, 61 percent of blacks over the age of 18 were married. By 2008, 32 percent were.

I would suggest that government “family planning” is really an insidious, pernicious kind of racism. It’s not about improving the quality of life, but rather it is about discouraging black women, and other poor women, from having children and encouraging them to abort their pregnancies.

The collateral damage has been the collapse of the black family.

This important new HHS proposed rule will take care of the abortion issue.

But we need a broader initiative to get rid of the damaging and wasteful government “family planning” business.

The nation would be better served, particularly at a time of trillion-dollar deficits, to return the $286 million spent on Title X programs to taxpayers.

Black women should be getting their “family planning” guidance from their pastor, not from government bureaucrats.

Canada: Conflicts growing between Indigenous people and refugees

Diversity is strength alert!

This isn’t supposed to be happening in welcoming Canada!

Aren’t we led to believe that poor and oppressed minority people feel for each other, that there couldn’t possibly be racism when neither side is white European?

“It’s further colonization,” Wirch said of refugee resettlement. “We [Indigenous people] are further being displaced from our lands, from our food, from our waters. And it’s wrong.”

Here is a bit of the story at Refugees Deeply where the author is working really hard to get the message out that the two minority groups (Indigenous people and refugees) are working on their tensions.

CANADA HAS A reputation as a welcoming haven for refugees. But for some Indigenous Canadians, public support and funding for displaced people stands in stark contrast to their own communities, which remain impoverished and overlooked.

Notice how the author immediately has to get a whack in at Donald Trump!

Last year the nation welcomed 300,000 newcomers, including about 43,500 refugees and asylum seekers. Faced with President Donald Trump’s anti-immigration policies, thousands of migrants have left the United States to seek asylum in Canada.

Many arrived in Manitoba, whose capital Winnipeg has the largest Indigenous population of any Canadian city. The city also faces problems with violence, drugs and homelessness. [So of course it is the perfect place to insert Middle Eastern refugees!—-ed]

Refugees compete with the local low income people for government services. Where have I heard this before?

Refugees in Winnipeg often settle in low-income and predominantly Indigenous neighborhoods. Many of the residents fear they will be forced to compete with their new neighbors for resources that are already scarce.

Last year, a group of Indigenous children pepper-sprayed a group of young refugees outside an Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization of Manitoba (IRCOM) housing facility in the mainly Indigenous Centennial neighborhood of Winnipeg.

Jenna Wirch, 26, an Indigenous woman from Winnipeg and a community development worker at IRCOM, works with both communities. She is also the youth engagement coordinator for Aboriginal Youth Opportunities, an organization working in Winnipeg’s North End.

NBC’s Law & Order: White NYPD cop says black judge comes from ‘Planet of the Apes’

A reader sent us a heads up that NBC’s Law & Order- Special Victims Unit is not politically correct. In an email our reader said:

I was watching Hulu last night​ – rerun of NBC Law and Order SVU.

I was shocked when 33 minutes in a cast member says: What planet is the judge from” (referring to a black judge)

Olivia character says: “Planet of the Apes” chuckles all around.

This exchange happens in Season 1 Episode 19.

The detectives that are part of the NYPD’s Special Victims Unit investigate crimes of a sexual nature.

The judge in the case is black. After the judge dismisses a case against a rape suspect, someone asks, “What planet is he from?” New York City police detective Lieutenant Olivia Benson, played by Mariska Hargitay, replies, “Planet of the Apes.”

Fast forward to Rosanne Barr’s tweet. Suddenly saying someone is from the Planet of the Apes is racist. Will NBC apologize for using this comparison to a black judge?

Stand Up America’s Ray DiLorenzo in an article titled “Lighten Up, America. It’s Not Your Fault” writes:

The United States and other Western nations have been assaulted with Political Correctness (PC), the repudiation of saying what you think. It seems to have come from nowhere and on the surface it appears to protect minorities or the disadvantaged from being marginalized. In reality, it is designed to create dissatisfaction with the status quo, culturally, politically, socially, and economically, while creating victimology and deep division among people and groups. It is a loss of proportion, an absence of humor and the freedom to laugh at oneself. It pits good people against each other. [Emphasis added]

DiLorenzo notes, “PC is not a new phenomena. It is at least 100 years old and finds its genesis in Marxist theology during World War I.”

Joseph Stalin wrote, “Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas.”

Political correctness can kill

Being politically incorrect killed my cousin Marian Pilatowicz. According to my families records Marian was a factory worker in occupied Poland during WWII. Marian told a joke to some of his fellow workers about the Germans who controlled his country. Marian was reported to the Gestapo, arrested and executed in the notorious Auschwitz-Berkinau concentration camp on November 3rd, 1942. Marion was 23-years old.

As Voltaire wrote, “To learn who rules over you, simple find out who you are not allowed to criticize.”

DiLorenzo concludes, “Political Correctness is intolerance in the name of tolerance…The next time someone tells you they are offended, tell them to lighten up. Hopefully they won’t report you.”

‘Right to Try” Law Provides Access to Experimental Treatment to 1 Million Terminally Ill Americans

SAN DIEGO, CA /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Congressional Candidate, and San Diego “Top Doctor,” Dr. James Veltmeyer announced today that his wife, cancer patient, Laura Veltmeyer may be one of the one million Americans that stand to benefit from President Trump’s recently signed “Right to Try” Law.

President Donald Trump stated in reference to the law “People who are terminally ill should not have to go from country to country to seek a cure — I want to give them a chance right here at home.”

“My wife and mother of my 2 children, is currently suffering from Stage IV Breast Cancer. As her condition advances, it is comforting to know that my wife now has the choice to receive treatments that can potentially save her life,” said Dr. Veltmeyer.

UK Busybodies Target Pointed Kitchen Knives, Gun Tattoos

Don’t ever underestimate the British capacity for combining the oppressive with the doltish. This week, the United Kingdom’s decades-long campaign against all things martial sunk to a fresh low when one of the Queen’s more domineering subjects floated a ban on the sale, and possibly the possession, of traditional kitchen utensils. Not to be outdone, other British busybodies demanded satisfaction from a professional athlete whose firearm body art they found objectionable.

In recent months, the UK, and London in particular, has found itself in the grip of a violent crime wave. During February and March of this year, there were more murders in the UK capital than in New York City. Statistical data from the Office for National Statistics released in April noted that in England and Wales crimes “involving a knife or sharp instrument” were up 22 percent in 2017. The report added, “The past three years have seen a rise in the number of recorded offences involving a knife or sharp instrument…” Despite the island nation’s ever-increasing gun control measures, police also recorded an 11 percent increase in firearms offences for the year. UK criminals have also been using household acids to maim their victims.

A closer look at the data shows that of the offences involving a knife or sharp instrument, robberies involving these weapons increased 35 percent over the previous year. Homicide and sexual assault increased 26 and 24 percent, respectively. Regarding knife and firearms offences, the report indicates that these crimes “tend to be disproportionately concentrated in London and other metropolitan areas.”

In response to the increased bloodshed, last July the UK’s Home Office declared their support for knife turn-in programs and new restrictions on mail order knife sales. The UK prohibits knife sales to those under 18. Under the new Tory proposal, the government would enforce this rule by requiring subjects who order knives through the mail to pick them up at a retailer, where their age would be verified. In response to the acid attacks, last October Home Secretary Amber Rudd announced the Tory government’s intent to restrict the sale of corrosive substances.

These heavy-handed tactics aren’t enough for one UK official. In mid-May retiring Luton Crown Court Judge Nic Madge used his valedictory speech as an opportunity to advocate for a ban on the sale, and potentially the possession, of common kitchen knives.

According to a report from the Telegraph, Madge told his audience that the reason why the current knife restrictions have had little effect on violent crime is because “the vast majority of knives carried by youths are ordinary kitchen knives.” Upping the rhetoric, Madge added, “Every kitchen contains lethal knives which are potential murder weapons.” Paralleling a common gun control refrain, Madge asked, “why we do need eight-inch or ten-inch kitchen knives with points?”

To combat this ever-present culinary threat, Madge proposed, 

I would urge all those with any role in relation to knives – manufacturers, shops, the police, local authorities, the government – to consider preventing the sale of long pointed knives, except in rare, defined, circumstances, and replacing such knives with rounded ends.

To address the countless pointed kitchen knives already owned by British subjects, Madge explained,

It might even be that the police could organise a programme whereby the owners of kitchen knives, which have been properly and lawfully bought for culinary purposes, could be taken somewhere to be modified, with the points being ground down into rounded ends.

Madge failed to address the issue of shanks. UK subjects are likely to have little difficulty constructing the homemade knives, having spent their lives in a prison.

In any other corner of the globe, Madge’s ludicrous policy proposal would have been the week’s most foolish commentary on weapons control. Not so in the Land of Hope and Glory, where even the mere depiction of a firearm is cause for panic.

On Sunday, Jamaica-born UK professional soccer player and English national team member Raheem Sterling posted a photo of a training sessions to his Instagram account. In the photo a tattoo of an M16 rifle is visible on Sterling’s right leg.

On Tuesday, British tabloid The Sun put the photo on the front page of the paper, with the headlines, “Raheem shoots himself in foot,” and “GUN TAT FURY.” According to the paper, the tattoo “triggered fury among anti-gun campaigners.”

Anti-gun activist and founder of UK group Mothers Against Guns Lucy Cope told the Sun that Sterling’s tattoo is “totally unacceptable” and that the footballer “should hang his head in shame.” Revealing the extent of her and her group’s anti-gun lunacy, Cope stated, “We demand he has the tattoo lasered off or covered up with a different tattoo… If he refuses he should be dropped from the England team. In their race to attack Sterling for his choice of body art, the Sun and Cope neglected to take into account the athlete’s life story. Sterling, who appears to be no fan of firearms, explained, “When I was two my father died from being gunned down to death… I made a promise to myself I would never touch a gun in my life time, I shoot with my right foot so it has a deeper meaning.” According to the New York Times, the way in which Sterling was criticized for his tattoo has led some to wonder whether the outcry was fueled by racial animus.

For their part, the English Football Association has supported Sterling during the anti-gun tantrum, with a spokesperson noting, “He and the rest of the squad are focused solely on preparing for the forthcoming World Cup.”

U.S. gun owners should take careful notice of the UK’s ongoing experience with civilian disarmament. No amount of compromise or appeasement will satisfy anti-gun advocates’ urge for control.

Shareholders Grill Zuckerberg at Meeting Over Alleged Liberal Bias

Shareholders peppered Facebook’s top executives during an official gathering Thursday with questions, complaints, and protests after the company’s past year has been littered with scandal and backlash.

One investor told Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to lead less like Vladimir Putin and more like George Washington so Facebook doesn’t become a “corporate dictatorship,” according to Bloomberg.

Another said the alleged mismanagement of data evoked a human rights violation. One woman was kicked out for constant interruptions in the very beginning of it all. And a plane flew over the premises in Menlo Park, California, dragging the message “You Broke Democracy,” along with an ad from an anti-monopoly activist group, reported Bloomberg.

“A lot has happened since last year when we were here … We didn’t do enough to be proactive about how people can abuse these tools,” Zuckerberg said, adding that the company is doing more to try to protect elections from interference and the social media platform from bots.

“We’re also very focused on being more transparent,” Zuckerberg said, while alluding to the multiple announcements and disclosures the company has made in areas like content moderation.

Zuckerberg was challenged on that exact topic, specifically if there is a bias among leadership or general staff based on ideology and if that affects what content is ultimately allowed on the site used by billions.

Citing apparent examples of an ideological bent, like former Facebook workers saying they constantly restrained news stories of interest to conservatives in the trending news section, Justin Danhof of the Free Enterprise Project urged Zuckerberg to consider fostering more diversity of viewpoint.

“It’s really important to me and to the company that Facebook and our systems are platforms for all different ideas,” Zuckerberg said. “And I noted that there are a number of concerns about that kind of bias. Silicon Valley generally is a very left-leaning place, without knowing or asking specific people at Facebook for their views, I think that’s a reasonable assumption.”

Zuckerberg conceded it’s certainly more likely that many employees within the Silicon Valley headquarters hold liberal viewpoints, but that content moderation is done by people from around the world where there is a more varied outlook on life and politics.

“We have very strict guidelines on how these policies need to be enforced, so if people aren’t doing what the guidelines say, they’re not going to be able continue doing that job,” he continued. “We’re very serious about that.”

Another area of concern broached during the reportedly tense meeting was Facebook’s impact on the local community, a highly strained point of contention in recent weeks as protesters complained the city government cares more about big tech than its own people.

Toward the end of the meeting, according to Bloomberg, after being pressed as to why the company always comes off as defensive, Zuckerberg admitted that while he doesn’t agree with all of the negative news coverage, “some of it is very fair.”

Megyn Kelly Points Out Hypocrisy After Samantha Bee’s ‘Disgusting’ Remarks About Ivanka Trump

Megyn Kelly went off on Samantha Bee and called the comedian’s comments about Ivanka Trump “disgusting” on Thursday.

The host of NBC’s “Megyn Kelly Today” fired back at the star of “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” after Bee referred to Trump as a “feckless c—” during an episode of her show on TBS Wednesday evening. Kelly pointed out the hypocrisy of networks looking the other way at Bee’s comments while condemning Roseanne Barr for her racist tweetstorm that included referring to former President Barack Obama’s senior adviser Valerie Jarrett as an “ape,” CNN reported.

“This is disgusting. How is this acceptable? And how are we expected to take any of these publications seriously if they gleefully repost something like this at the same time they (rightfully) condemn ? You know the saying Love is Love? Well Hate is Hate,” Kelly tweeted.

Bee’s controversial remarks were in regards to President Donald Trump’s policies regarding illegal immigrants.

“You know, Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child but let me just say, one mother to another, do something about your dad’s immigration practices you feckless c—,” Bee said, according to Newsweek. “He listens to you. Put on something tight and low cut and tell your father to f—ing stop it.”

The reboot of “Roseanne” was canceled by ABC Tuesday in regards to Barr’s comments.

The ‘Red-Green Axis’ Throws a Fit Over President Trump’s New National Security Team

WASHINGTON, D.C.— The discredited, radical left Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), the Sharia-supremacist Muslim Brotherhood and their echo chamber in the leftist media are denouncing the appointment by President Trump’s new National Security Advisor, John Bolton, of a highly accomplished and widely respected national security practitioner as the National Security Council’s Chief of Staff and Executive Secretary.  The real reason for their frenzied complaints about the appointment of career intelligence professional Fred Fleitz should be obvious: This “Red-Green axis” is unhinged by Mr. Trump and is determined to do whatever it can to prevent his success.

To be sure, these critics serve up a number of other pretexts for demanding the firing of Mr. Fleitz. The principal rationale given, though, is that he was, until last week, the Senior Vice President for Policy and Programs of the Center for Security Policy.  That fact has prompted a fresh round of recycled falsehoods aimed at discrediting the Center’s carefully documented work – particularly that exposing the Muslim Brotherhood’s far-advanced covert campaign whose explicit goal is “destroying Western civilization from within by [the infidels’] hands and the hands of the believers so that Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.” Unable to rebut Center products and initiatives, groups like the Hamas-founded CAIR and the SPLC, a disreputable George Soros-funded instrument of hard-left political warfare, simply seek to suppress them and defame and silence their authors.

The Center for Security Policy is, of course, proud of its long and highly productive relationship with Fred Fleitz.  (During his time at the Center, Mr. Fleitz authored many scores of articles, published two important books – Obamabomb and The Coming North Korean Nuclear Nightmare– and co-edited several more and appeared in countless radio and television interviews.)  The Center is similarly gratified by the elevation of the rest of its friends and colleagues – including Amb. Bolton, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and numerous others – now in senior positions throughout President Trump’s national security team.

The Center is even more delighted that such allies are in positions faithfully to execute the National Security Strategy unveiled last December, which in at least 30 different aspects embraces policy initiatives recommended by this organization over its thirty years of operations. And it looks forward to working closely with the President and his team to execute that strategy.

PODCAST: The Smoke and Mirrors of the Democrats

The Democrats are desperate. Regardless of what the Main Stream Media says, they are losing ground to the Republicans going into the 2018 midterm elections. We have discussed how the MEDIA twists the facts in their favor and the steps taken by the Democrats to change VOTING regulations, both of which hit below-the-belt. This desperation hints at the power struggle going on within the party itself with the progressive’s trying to retain control. If they lose in November, they’ll likely lose in 2020 and forfeit control of the party.

The latest sign of distress is represented by the Democrat’s recent calls for “Draining the Swamp,” a slogan coined by President Trump. Since they have no policies of substance to sell to the American public, other than to reverse the actions of the president, they are setting down a smoke screen to confuse and mislead voters, a little slight of hand if you will.

The truth is, the Democrats have already been branded as an integral part of the swamp by the president, so it is unlikely anyone will buy into their argument other than their own constituents. This is just the point; instead of offering viable proposals to help the economy, protect our borders, and secure the safety of the country, they are doing nothing more than “smoke and mirrors.” Even their new theme of “A Better Deal for Our Democracy,” stems from an earlier time (Teddy Roosevelt invented the “Square Deal” and Franklin Roosevelt introduced the “New Deal”). However, the “Better Deal” lacks substance, leaving the Democrats without a legitimate platform to run on. This is why they will lose.

Donald Trump’s Contract with the American Voter represented his platform, a lot of which he delivered on, but not everything, such as a proposal for Congressional term limits. Nonetheless, his “contract” was much more substantive than the “Better Deal” of the Democrats. This is what the American voters are looking for, but will not get from the Democrats. Instead, they will get smoke and mirrors. Their mantra may be appealing to their own party, but certainly not to Republicans. More importantly, they are offering Independents no compelling reason to vote for their party.

So, why the smoke screen? What are they trying to hide? Frankly, it’s the economy which is now booming under Republican control. President Trump’s approach to lowering taxes and reducing regulations is putting more money in the pockets of Americans and reducing unemployment. It is this approach which runs contrary to the Democrats who want higher taxes and bigger government. This explains why they will never admit the economy has improved and why Rep. Nancy Pelosi demeans it as just “crumbs.” The Trump approach promotes capitalism, and the Democrats want to promote socialism. It’s a shame young people do not comprehend the differences between the two, which the Democrats are counting on going into November.

One last thing; time and again, the party talks about America as a Democracy, something which it most certainly is not, and I get tired of hearing this. It is a “Republic” meaning we elect representatives to vote and act on our behalf. In a true Democracy, the public would vote on everything. We do not, which is what we elect representatives to do for us. The Democrats’ excessive use of the word makes me wonder if anyone in the party truly understands how our government works. I guess this explains why they do not understand or appreciate such things as the Electoral College.

Until such time as the Democrats get serious and quit trying to deceive American voters, they will continue to lose. Yes, they should be worried. Their ship is sinking and instead of fixing the hole or manning the life boats, they are content re-arranging the deck chairs.

In November, 2017 I wrote a column titled “The Origins of the ‘Cult of Political Correctness’ [a.k.a. Cultural Marxism].” I felt a need to expose what happens when someone is deemed to be “politically incorrect.” The most recent example is Rosanne Barr who tweeted a joke about former Obama senior advisor and confidant Valerie Jarrett typing “muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj.”

What Rosanne got wrong is Valerie Jarrett’s Communist background. According to Discover the Networks:

Valerie Jarrett was born as Valerie Bowman on November 14, 1956, to American parents in Shiraz, Iran.

Jarrett’s Father

Valerie Jarrett’s father—an American-born physician named James Bowman (1923-2011)—worked as a pathologist and geneticist at a children’s hospital in Shiraz as part of a U.S. aid program to assist developing countries. He resided in Chicago from approximately 1947-53, precisely when Frank Marshall Davis, the Communist journalist who would later serve as a mentor to a young Barack Obama, launched his Communist Party-line newspaper, the Chicago Star. Bowman and Davis undoubtedly knew one another during these years. Bowman subsequently moved to Iran, where Valerie Jarrett was born, after his discharge from the Army Medical Corps in 1955.

As evidenced by his lengthy FBI file, Bowman was a Communist who often collaborated with other Chicago-based members of the Party.

Jarrett’s Mother

Valerie Jarrett’s mother is the early-childhood-education author Barbara Taylor Bowman (born 1928), who in 1966 co-founded a Chicago-based graduate school in child development known as the Erikson Institute, named after the psychoanalyst Erik Erikson. (In 1950 Erikson became a hero to the left by choosing to resign from his professorship at the University of California rather than sign an anti-communist loyalty oath as the school required.) Indicative of the Erikson Institute’s radical political orientation is the fact that its board of trustees has included, in addition to Mrs. Bowman, such figures as Tom Ayers (father of the former Weather Underground terrorist and lifelong Marxist Bill Ayers) and Bernardine Dohrn (longtime wife of Bill Ayers). Bill Ayers, for his part, called Mrs. Bowman “a neighbor and friend” in his 1997 book A Kind and Just Parent, noting that his neighbors also included Louis Farrakhan and “writer Barack Obama.”

Here are members of ABC’s The View mocking Christianity and Joy Behar calling saying people who believe Jesus talks to them are “mentally ill.”

Rosanne’s ABC television show was promptly cancelled. And Joy Behar and those on the view are still on the air.

Political incorrectness killed Rosanne’s show, but Behar is safe and sound.

Marian Pilatowicz

The same is not true for my cousin Marian Pilatowicz. According to my families records Marian was a factory worker in occupied Poland during WWII. Marian told a joke to some of his fellow workers about the Germans who controlled his country. Marian was reported to the Gestapo, arrested and executed in the notorious Auschwitz-Berkinau concentration camp on November 3rd, 1942. Marion was a 23-year old.

Origin of Political Correctness

Have you ever wondered where the idea of political correctness originated?

The Washington Times in a November, 2015 op-ed titled “A little history of ‘politically correct’: The Soviets invented it and the university tolerates it” notes this about the cult of political correctness:

It’s a wicked attitude intended to stifle the conscience and suppress belief and conviction.

The term “politically correct” was coined in the late 1920s by the Soviets and their ideological allies around the world to describe why the views of certain of the party faithful needed correction to the party line.

If my cousin were alive today he would agree that America, like the Nazis, has picked up on the power of stifling free speech by making certain speech punishable.

Political Correctness is cultural Marxism.

In a column titled “The Origins of Political Correctness” Mr. Bill Lind notes:

If we look at it analytically, if we look at it historically, we quickly find out exactly what it is. Political Correctness is cultural Marxism. It is Marxism translated from economic into cultural terms. It is an effort that goes back not to the 1960s and the hippies and the peace movement, but back to World War I. If we compare the basic tenets of Political Correctness with classical Marxism the parallels are very obvious.

First of all, both are totalitarian ideologies. The totalitarian nature of Political Correctness is revealed nowhere more clearly than on college campuses, many of which at this point are small ivy covered North Koreas, where the student or faculty member who dares to cross any of the lines set up by the gender feminist or the homosexual-rights activists, or the local black or Hispanic group, or any of the other sainted “victims” groups that PC revolves around, quickly find themselves in judicial trouble. Within the small legal system of the college, they face formal charges – some star-chamber proceeding – and punishment. That is a little look into the future that Political Correctness intends for the nation as a whole. [Emphasis added]

In “Orwell’s Doublespeak: The Language of the Left” Linda Goudsmit wrote:

George Orwell introduced the language of doublespeak in his dystopian novel “1984″ published in 1949. Doublespeak is the language of opposites. Up is down and down is up.

The word doublespeak derives from two Orwellian words “doublethink” and “newspeak.” Doublethink is when a person accepts two mutually contradictory thoughts as correct without being aware or troubled by the glaring contradiction between them. Doublethink statements like “war is peace” “freedom is slavery” “ignorance is strength” are made without discomfort. Newspeak is a method of controlling thought through language – it is the language of fake news. Doublespeak combines doublethink and newspeak in language that deliberately obscures, distorts, disguises, or reverses the meaning of words to manipulate public opinion in a mass social engineering effort.

The Principles of Politically Correctness.

A detailed explanation of Newspeak, today’s political correctness, is found in this paragraph from an Appendix to Orwell’s novel “1984”, under the title, The Principles of Newspeak:

The purpose of Newspeak was not only to provide a medium of expression for the world-view and mental habits proper to the devotees of Ingsoc (English Socialist Party) but to make all other modes of thought impossible. It was intended that when Newspeak had been adopted once and for all and Oldspeak forgotten, a heretical thought — that is, a thought diverging from the principles of Ingsoc — should be literally unthinkable, at least so far as thought is dependent on words.

Its vocabulary was so constructed as to give exact and often very subtle expression to every meaning that a Party member could properly wish to express, while excluding all other meanings and also the possibility of arriving at them by indirect methods. This was done partly by the invention of new words, but chiefly by eliminating undesirable words and by stripping such words as remained of unorthodox meanings, and so far as possible of all secondary meanings whatever.

To give a single example. The word free still existed in Newspeak, but it could only be used in such statements as ‘This dog is free from lice’ or ‘This field is free from weeds’. It could not be used in its old sense of ‘politically free’ or ‘intellectually free’ since political and intellectual freedom no longer existed even as concepts, and were therefore of necessity nameless. Quite apart from the suppression of definitely heretical words, reduction of vocabulary was regarded as an end in itself, and no word that could be dispensed with was allowed to survive.

Newspeak was designed not to extend but to diminish the range of thought, and this purpose was indirectly assisted by cutting the choice of words down to a minimum.
