Leftism and Degeneracy: A Beautiful Thing

Please forgive me for using this crude, but appropriate saying, “Don’t urinate on my head and tell me it is raining.” Leftists urinate lies, deceit, perversion, immorality and sin on our heads while telling us it’s golden nectar of beauty, love and compassion. In a nutshell, Leftists are using government to make weird and freaky declared mainstream, while trampling traditional principles and values underfoot — declared hateful, intolerant and laughable.

For example: Everyday people think a movie in which an amphibian injects its sperm into a human is gross. And yet, Hollywood deems it a beautiful love story, awarding, “The Shape of Water”, Best Picture of the Year. We commoners are too unsophisticated to appreciate the beauty of a woman copulating with a fish.

Back in 2015, Tom DeLay exposed an Obama DOJ memo spelling out 12 perversions it wanted to legalize including pedophilia and bestiality. So don’t call me crazy for saying the movie, “The Shape of Water” is Leftists’ step one in warming people up to legalizing bestiality.

When 5 out of 9 SCOTUS justices basically said screw the Constitution to incorporate a redefinition of marriage into the law of the land, here is what Justice Thomas said in rebuke,

“Our Constitution — like the Declaration of Independence before it — was predicated on a simple truth: One’s liberty, not to mention one’s dignity, was something to be shielded from — not provided by — the State. Today’s decision casts that truth aside.” 

Meanwhile, Obama lit up the White House in rainbow colors and tweeted, #Love Wins! Leftists celebrated the unconstitutional ruling calling it a beautiful thing. We dare not mention the unnaturalness of using an exit as an entrance. It’s a beautiful thing.

I was rebuked for posting photos from Gay Pride parades in my column. We’re told their lifestyle is beautiful, the new normal. So why not show pictures of the beautiful things going on in Gay Pride parades; naked men performing mock sodomy in the streets; people in giant penis and vagina costumes; men and women dressed in BDSM nun outfits?

If homosexuals want to be thought of as normal, why not dress like the mainstream in their parades rather than outfits promoting extreme deviancy and blasphemy? Google “gay pride parade”.

Ponder this folks. If a guy tells his wife of 30 years he is leaving her for a woman half her age, Leftists would brand him a sexist jerk. If that same guy told his wife he is leaving her to become a woman and have sex with men, Leftists would call it a beautiful thing; embracing his true nature. Leftists would tell his devastated wife and children to support the wondrous removal of their patriarch’s penis; a beautiful thing.

At the Women’s March rally in DC, thousands proudly wore, “pussy hats“. 

Leftist female speakers passionately dropped numerous F bombs, inspired violence on President Trump and spoke of menstrual blood in gross graphic detail. Leftist fake news media called the rally a beautiful thing.

Leftist’s illegal sanctuary cities like San Francisco call themselves compassionate havens for angelic illegals; a beautiful thing. The reality is rejecting federal immigration law is destroying California. In San Francisco, a map was created to help people avoid mounds of feces left by the homeless. Sanctuary cites turn a blind eye to gangs of illegals terrorizing U.S. citizens; murders, rape and robberies. The San Francisco Bay area is experiencing a massive exodus due to crime, skyrocketing taxes, insanely high housing cost and welfare benefits for illegals. California is the poorest state in the USA. Still, Leftists tell us sanctuary cities are saintly beautiful things.

Leftists demand that we stop saying, “Merry Christmas”, teachers must stop addressing students as “boys and girls” and stop saying you’re proud to be an American — all in the name of inclusion; a beautiful thing. Most recently, Leftists forbid us saying, “God bless you”, claiming it is insensitive and intolerant.

I disagreed with a well-intention minister on TV who said Christians should not respond angrily, saying we will not buy your coffee if you don’t say Merry Christmas. Leftist businesses are cramming their anti-god agenda down our throats. What is wrong with us expressing our disapproval with our dollars?

Righteous anger is an act of love. Jesus expressed anger at evil. 

Decades of passivity has allowed Leftists to indoctrinate our kids and transform our culture. Who would think Leftists would boldly promote lesbianism in Disney’s new animated family movie, “Frozen 2”; calling it a beautiful thing. 

It is time for Christians to be salt as God commanded — making a difference; adding godly savor to our culture. That truly is a beautiful thing.

My fellow plutocrats, we have arrived. It’s a beautiful thing. We oozed out of the slime and muck and furtively fed our bellies in the safety of shadows. Now, like a monster octopus, we spread our arms over the world and squeeze. And squeeze. And squeeze some more. What can be more pleasurable than squeezing the whole wide world!

Our secret world government, the 3rd Capitalist Cabal Internationale, has reported that thanks to big business corporate hegemonic GoogleFacebookTwitter rule we, the rightful rulers of the world, the fat cats of capital, the sharks of society, the plutocrats Marx and Engels warned about, have finally taken back the superstructure of the State from the workers!

It wasn’t easy. The righteous workers and their keen, ever-vigilant eyes followed our movements at every twist and turn. But we got the slip on them by stealing from the workers whole new means of production and distribution: the Internet. And then we turned it on them. We got them addicted to it. Our evil plans to hook the workers on social media worked! It worked! It worked!

The workers and peasants are so hooked, so deep in our manufactured false consciousness, that they beg us for more! Our “evil big business diabolically corporate hegemonic takeover of the world and rule with an iron-fist-over-the-Internet” simple business plan has finally worked! The workers are thoroughly corrupted.

Who would have ever thought that the benighted Left would ever side with big business corporate hegemonic worldwide ruling over decisions about who can say what? In fact, they even send us petitions begging the big bad corporations to be bigger and meaner and to impose more of their corporate dictate on everybody.

They turn to the big bad corporations to do what we big bad corporations have brain-washed them to believe in the first place: kill freedom! Down with civil rights! Stop freedom now because it’s dangerous!

Everything we told them, they repeat back like an echo, as a plea for us to enslave the people even more.

Talk about false consciousness. Can you believe it, my fellow enemies of the people? Was I not right? Did the master business plan of world domination not work?

Whatever happened to Net Neutrality, so big bad companies wouldn’t be able “to control what we do and watch online”?

Rub your hands and smack your lips, babies. It’s chow time.

We have arrived and the Left is cheering us on. World domination is so fun that it’s a good thing there are limits to it. Oh, wait! There are no limits to it. There is no limiting principle to the long dark night of our rule.

Shareholders are happy and profits are waaaay up. Ruining people’s lives by sucking the very blood out of the workers and peasants through horrible shattering addiction to social media crapola, so we can enjoy living in idle luxury like golden gods crushing the little people like flies just for sport has never been so satisfying.

Who shall we crush next?

A Chilling Effect on Freedom of Speech

It has become clear to me I could never be appointed to a federal office. Why not? Because I’m a teacher, and I talk too much.

I couldn’t get elected to federal office for the same reason Larry Summers got shot out of the presidency of Harvard like a circus clown out of a cannon: because I prefer to think about issues from several angles and points-of-view. When you’re a teacher, you want to get students thinking, and one way of doing this is by posing hypothetical examples. “What if…?” “Consider how things might have been different if….”

Any one of these mental explorations could certainly be used to defame and destroy me if I were up for a public office. Almost anything anybody says can be turned into something stupid if it is taken out of context and edited a certain way.

John Stewart on “The Daily Show” specialized in this sort of thing. He would show a clip of a politician speaking, cut it at just the right moment to make the speaker look stupid, then raise an eyebrow, look at the camera with a puzzled expression and say, “Huh?” to the uproarious laughter of his young adult audience. The implication was clear: “We know from our spot on high that this guy is a scoundrel or an idiot.” Senators, congressmen, and others with decades of experience can all be dismissed, not with an argument or a deep dive into the data, just a roll of the eyes.

I won’t deny Stewart could be funny. But I hated the habits he was teaching America’s youth. His show could have been titled: “How to Be Self-Righteously Hypercritical About People Actually Trying to Do Something About Society’s Problems.”

I mention all this because there is a decent Catholic gentleman named Gordon Giampietro, whom Hadley Arkes wrote about here last week, who has been nominated for a position on the federal bench. This man is currently being labeled “racist” and “unqualified to be a federal judge” because he (a) expressed his agreement with the standard Catholic position on marriage on a local Catholic radio show, and (b) appeared to question (in an off-hand way in a very brief comment to an article by Hadley Arkes) whether addressing what he called America’s “original sin” of slavery by the use of racial quotas was the best approach. Both positions are of course heretical from the point-of-view of the contemporary liberal intelligentsia.

The Catholic Church is forbidden to label as “dissenters” those who expressly deny and defy the Catholic Church’s firm and irrevocable teaching about abortion, and yet those who dare to even question the current wisdom of the liberal elite are labeled “morally unfit” and shunned.

You get a pass if you’re a Catholic “of the right sort,” like Diane Feinstein or Nancy Pelosi. But if you’re a Catholic “of the wrong sort” – remember the “dogmatic” circuit court nominee, Amy Barrett – then you become “intolerable to the tolerant.” And since “the tolerant” understand themselves to be “the good guys” fighting the forces of ignorance and intolerance, any means is justified by the end they seek.

Did you know – and this might be worth keeping in mind – that in today’s world, if you write a quick comment on a The Catholic Thing article some morning as you’re about to get on the road to work, some sleazy political operative receiving a hefty fee for “opposition research” might dredge it up, selectively edit it, and use it against you to keep you from getting a job? This is what has happened to Giampietro.

The Supreme Court has frequently (and rightly, in my view) bent over backwards in their First Amendment jurisprudence to repel any cases of what they have termed a “chilling effect” on the freedom of speech. The speech-Nazis now patrolling our every written word and verbal utterance are silencing freedom of expression as surely as any of the laws ruled unconstitutional by those courts.

I sometimes ask students to consider how things might have been different if, instead of the Supreme Court deciding to desegregate the public schools in Brown v. Board of Education, the nation had been able to find a way of desegregating the schools without this sort of judicial intervention. Am I opposed to Brown? No. But it is worth asking whether the tendency toward judicial imperialism that has followed in its wake is entirely healthy for a constitutional republic of the sort the framers of our Constitution envisioned. So I ask them to consider, “Was there a better way?”

If someone were to post an article accusing me of “questioning the decision in Brown,” (even though I don’t), this would likely be enough to get me banned from any federal office. Who knows? Depending upon the furor, and regardless of the truth of the matter, my university might decide it is no longer in their financial interest to have a “controversial” theologian like me teaching here.

Over 65 percent of our students are minorities, and they might not want to take classes from a notoriously “racist” and “bigoted” professor now that my “sordid” record has been revealed. If recent experience with the media is any guide, all of us are one wayward comment away from a firestorm we won’t be able to put out no matter how hard we try, no matter how unfair.

Gordon Giampietro appears to be a fine man who would interpret the law, not make it, which is likely one of the things that makes him so unsuitable to his opponents. I hope he gets his appointment to the federal bench. But whether he does or doesn’t, we have to stop policing people’s every word as if this revealed everything we need to know about their character.

This form of “gotcha’ journalism” cheapens public discourse and makes it harder for people, whether liberal or conservative, to speak the honest words we need to hear from each other, especially those with whom we disagree.

Is Russia Our Friend?

We’ve been hearing a lot about Russia these days, be it in congressional investigations, the Syrian war, in the Ukraine, and recent nuclear missile developments. The United States has a long history with the Russians, since its revolution about 100 years ago. In that time, our relationship could best be described as “tolerant” but certainly not friendly. This is due, in large part to opposing political ideologies. We simply do not trust each other and it is remarkable neither side has pulled the trigger to cause a major armed conflict.

During World War II Franklin Roosevelt and Joseph Stalin had a tepid relationship. America came to Russia’s aid under the Lend-Lease Act to give them vital supplies to fight Nazi Germany. Stalin repaid us by snapping up Eastern Europe at the conclusion of the war and triggering the Cold War which lasted several decades. He also consolidated his power by purging his enemies in the country, not once, not twice, but three times. By doing so, he became the model for other Communist dictators to assimilate, particularly the North Koreans.

We all remember the relationship between John Kennedy and Nikita Khrushchev during the Cuban missile crisis which was the closest we came to war. Fortunately, Khrushchev blinked, but it cemented our adversarial relationship. It wasn’t until Richard Nixon introduced the spirit of “detente” to Leonid Brezhnev that tensions began to ease and an Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty was signed.

By the time Ronald Reagan became President, the Soviet Union was economically weak. Reagan began to rebuild America’s military and surprised the world with the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI; aka “Star Wars”), offering new technologies to prevent ballistic missile attacks. In turn, the Soviet Union was forced to compete militarily with the United States, which they could not afford to do. Further, Mikhail Gorbachev of the USSR introduced new policies at home with “glasnost” (openness) and “perestroika” (restructuring). All of this contributed to the end of the Soviet Union as a communist entity, and the end of the Cold War.

During the Clinton years, Boris Yeltsin became the first President of the new Russian Federation. Yeltsin proposed a new constitution which became popular and was passed. More importantly, he moved Russia’s socialist economy to capitalism, and the country began to flourish economically. The Yeltsin administration though was fraught with corruption, eventually forcing the Russian president to resign.

Enter Vladimir Putin in 2000 to pick up the pieces. The former KGB foreign intelligence officer and Cold Warrior has served as Russian president for three terms and is now running for a fourth. As the Russian Constitution barred a third consecutive term, Putin took a term as the country’s Premier (Prime Minister) until the next presidential election where he was reinstated, a clever maneuver allowing him to maintain control.

In theory, the Russian Federation is a Constitutional Republic, much like the United States, with three separate branches, including Legislative, Executive, and Judiciary. However, most experts agree it is no longer such as Putin has consolidated power and is essentially a dictator, much like Stalin except without the purges.

Putin has dealt with three American Presidents, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and now Donald Trump. Putin and Bush generally had a good relationship. During this time, Russia cooperated with America in the War on Terror following 911. The two countries have cooperated in space, most notably the International Space Station, but in 2024, the Russians will take elements of their section to build OPSEK, a new and separate space station.

During Mr. Obama’s administration, relations with Russia began to deteriorate. Several incidents occurred:

  • In 2013, Russia gave asylum to Edward Snowden of the NSA who leaked classified information. This resulted in the cancellation of a Russian-American summit, the first time since 1960.
  • In 2014, Russia invaded the Crimea, which led to the country being voted out of the G8.
  • In 2015, Russia’s military intervened in Syria.
  • In 2016, Russia interfered in the U.S. presidential election.

Mr. Obama’s policies towards Russia were generally regarded as a failure and Putin took advantage of the situation with bolder activities against the United States.

And now we come to the tenure of Mr. Trump and although the two have met briefly and spoke, they have not had a chance to negotiate policy. Just three short months into the Trump administration, the President ordered a missile strike against a Syrian airfield. 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles were sent in retaliation for the Khan Shaykhun chemical attack. The show of strength demonstrated the decisiveness of Mr. Trump to act, something well observed by Iran, North Korea, China, and Russia.

On March 18th, Russian voters will elect a president. Candidates include Putin as incumbent, and a handful of other token applicants. The only true candidate to oppose Mr. Putin is Alexei Navalny, who has been conveniently barred from running. In other words, there is little doubt as to the outcome of the upcoming Russian election. When his next six year term is over, he will have controlled Russia for 24 years, just six less than Stalin.

Even though the Russian Constitution claims the country is a republic, Mr. Putin’s consolidation of power leaves little doubt the country is returning to a dictatorship. His roots are planted in the KGB and Communist Party which means he resents the success of the United States and considers us his #1 competitor for world domination as we represent a free country based on capitalism, unlike the Chinese which remains Communist. Consequently, it is to Russia’s advantage to undermine America’s political system and constantly test our resolve as leaders of the free world. If America fails, Russia wins.

If we have learned anything about the Russians, it is they respect strength and will exploit any weakness we may reveal. The only time we will get into trouble is when one country treads on the other’s turf. Then we have a problem we must both address.

Although we have forged some good relations with the Russians over the years, are they really our friends and should we trust them? Hell no, but we better find a way to get along, for everyone’s sake.

This headline is most certainly not clickbait. The path from this point to dissolution of the Union or actual armed conflict between California authorities and federal authorities is not hard to map. Whether it happens depends largely on the actions of California.

Right now, California is the first and only state to pass a law making itself a “sanctuary state” where it forbids all state and local law enforcement officers — oddly named at this point — from cooperating with federal officials seeking to deport people who came to this country illegally. However, as California’s dangerous wantonness has not come with immediate costs, other states are considering the same move.

Now Attorney General Jeff Sessions is marshalling the forces of the Department of Justice to sue California over its lawlessness in the same way that Obama’s DOJ sued Arizona for trying to uphold border law. It inevitably had to come to this.

In a speech announcing the action, Sessions took aim at both the awful policies and individual politicians, such as Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, Democrat, who publicly warned illegal immigrants in her city last month about an impending raid by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents: “How dare you? How dare you needlessly endanger the lives of our law enforcement officers to promote a radical open-borders agenda?”

Calling on vast reserves of disingenuity, the Washington Post called Sessions a states’ rights hypocrite while pretending to write a news story, by referring to invisible and unnamed “observers” and finding some yahoo at Sam Houston State to make the reporters’ argument:

“As a Republican senator from Alabama for 20 years, Sessions was known as an advocate for states’ rights. But, as attorney general, observers say, he is making an exception when state policies bump against his conservative agenda.

“As soon as Attorney General Sessions is able to craft federal policy that matches what he believes to be the interest and values of America, he is perfectly fine with strengthening the federal government and overcoming states’ rights,” said Benjamin E. Park, author of “American Nationalisms” and an assistant professor of history at Sam Houston State University. “States’ rights philosophies are always skin-deep and work until you want a strong federal government to support your policies.””

This case is nonsense because states’ rights is a long-time American ideal, tradition and constitutional issue — except in very few cases where there are “enumerated” rights for the federal government. The reporters and the professor may want to consider reading the document.

In Section 1 Article 8 of the Constitution, these enumerated rights are spelled out and include naturalization of citizens and national security, which clearly requires border control. Californian cannot do that as it is a prescribed power of the federal government, which Sessions is supporting. Whereas the federal government has taken on all sorts of rights that are not prescribed for it, which Sessions opposed. See, guys? Read the Constitution.

California is Arizona, except opposite

It is easy to empathize with the plight of Arizona being overrun by illegals crossing the Mexican border and the federal government’s refusal to enforce existing federal law — like, you know, what the president promises to do when he places his hand on the Bible and is sworn into office. But the Supreme Court ruled correctly in favor of the corrupt Holder DOJ in saying that border enforcement is a federal responsibility and a state may not do it. That was a Constitutionally correct ruling, not the political kind we get too much of in the Ninth Circuit Court.

Precisely the same principle applies to California. The state is trying to usurp an area of clearly delineated federal authority in border control, naturalization and national security. Just like in Arizona, they are duty-bound to lose at the Supreme Court — almost assuredly the Ninth will issue a law-free political decision, and then will be overturned.

What’s not clear is what happens next. And this is where things get really dicey.

No one serious worried that Arizona would revolt and threaten dissolution. The state acquiesced to order and law and backed down on enforcement. Will California?

Arizona was trying to enforce federal law and so as expected followed the ruling. California, which is increasingly run by truly radical progressives, was trying to break federal law. Will they follow the ruling of the Supreme Court and eliminate their sanctuary state status? Will they begin cooperating with federal ICE agents and not warn illegals of coming raids?

If you think they obviously will, you have not been paying attention. There are reasonable betting odds that the radicals running the state in Sacramento will simply continue to flout federal law. They will maintain their sanctuary status and they will continue to not cooperate with ICE. Further, probably more will do what the Oakland mayor did and actively work to undermine the efforts of the federal government to enforce federal law by siding with criminals — even very low-level criminals. It’s also not impossible that there are some California radical Democrats who actually want to see the state secede from the Union and the dissolution of the United States.

Dissolution, civil war or new leaders

So if California openly and publicly ignores a Supreme Court ruling, then what do the feds do? How does Washington respond to a rogue State in the Union?

It seems there would be three ultimate options — after exhausting several intermediary attempts to come to a resolution, such as withholding federal funding, which may or may not be found to be legal or effective.

One, the people of California could revolt electorally against the radical leadership and elect new leaders that are a little bit more pro-America, and rational. This is obviously the most desirable outcome. But it seems like a longshot.

The biggest reason for that is that California laws and judicial rulings are putting non-Americans in the voting booth, probably in very large numbers. As we reported in January:

“California is baking into its laws, regulations and governmental attitude the opportunity for literally millions of Mexican nationals and other non-American citizens to be voting in American elections. This has probably already happened at least in some small ways.”

Two, the federal government could do nothing and accept California’s rebellion. That will encourage even more lawlessness on the part of the Sacramento radicals and embolden other liberal states to take similar steps. At that point, we will have anarchy, or a form of Civil War, or the dissolution of the United States.

Three, the federal government could move troops into California to essentially occupy the state and put down the rebellion, preserving the Union.

Seeing what happens beyond that is difficult. Would California National Guard units actually fire on U.S. Army units? Probably not. Very few radicals of this stripe are militarily inclined. But would there be armed insurrection? Probably so. And exactly what role might Mexico play? That they have harbored desires for the dissolution of the United States and return of regions to Mexico is hardly a secret.

California may yet relent, but it does not look likely. And barring that, it’s hard to see how this ends well for anyone, including California, considering the current leadership of California.

The Game Plan of C-Span

C-Span has a dedicated propagandist program that reaches millions of viewers.  It works on the basis of having the viewing audience call in, vilifying Israel or world Jewry, for all the world to hear, while the host broadcasters remain silent and blameless.  The accusations go unopposed, the lies unchallenged, the slander uncensored, and the audience has digested a full dose of uninterrupted, unexpurgated hate speech against Israel, with defamation of the US for our friendship with the sole middle-eastern democracy that shares our values.  So Islam and the left, the enemies of Jews and Christians worldwide, have their own kind of Lord Haw-Haw, the Fascist mouthpiece of World War II, protected from all censure.  The callers should be screened out and the hosts should be ethical and better informed to disallow the vilification and falsehoods.

Here are just a few of about one hundred damaging comments by callers in 2017, to which the journalists were either silent, ineffective or in agreement.

  • 12/23, “Israel attacked the USS Liberty to get the US into a war with Egypt; I really don’t think that it is a really good ally.  Who knows whether they (Israel) coaxed us into war with Iraq and Syria.”  This is a persistent false accusation.  Numerous inquiries and reports have concluded that the Israelis could not properly identify the ship in international waters and had reason to fear an Egyptian attack.  It was human error.  Israel apologized for the harm, and paid millions in compensation to the US government, as well as to the wounded and to families of the men killed.
  • 12/06, “Truman took the European Jews and set them right on top of the Palestinians, now that is our problem today.”  The historical connection and legal rights, by international law, of the Jewish people in all of Palestine were defined in 1922 by the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine, the name used by the Romans.  The identification, “Palestinians,” was fabricated in 1967 after the Arabs lost their aggressive war against Israel; the myth of an ancient Arab link to the land was created to undermine Israel and is part of their world jihad, holy war, and al-hijrah, conquest by migration.
  • 11/09, “The best way to stop terrorism [in the world] is to get control of Israel.”  Islamic terrorism is mandated in their scriptures and terrorists have carried out more than 32,651 deadly terror attacks since 9/11 to date, March ’18.  The persecution and killing of Muslims by other Muslims is a severe problem throughout the world.  Israel is the only country in the Middle East where Muslims live in peace and thrive, and this caller has given voice to making Israel the problem.

They do absolutely nothing as far as the Coalition is concerned and we give them money and arms and they still don’t help us.”  America does not protect Israel; the annual aid helps Israel purchase weaponry for its own defense, much made in America, keeping our manufacturing humming and our workers paid, and it is far less costly than deploying US troops to protect other US allies.  Considered the “policeman of the world,” Israel provides us with invaluable intelligence to fight terrorism, combat-tests weapons and makes beneficial modifications. We benefit from their superior innovation and creativity, frontline of defense, cutting-edge technology in agriculture, cyber-security, medicine, military, and in water technology to Third-world countries and California; they deal with Islamic countries so we can concentrate on North Korea.  Israel’s First Responders helped us track the Boston Marathon bombers; helped with California and Texas floods, Mexico and Haiti after their earthquakes, Japan after their tsunami, and provided post-trauma training to Parkland community members.  Our biggest high-tech companies depend on a strong, independent Israel.
  • 04/20, “Hamas, Hezbollah, these are the people who are Palestinians just trying to get their country back. It’s not a difficult situation at all.  My opinion is – it is not Israel, it’s occupied Palestine. China has North Korea.  Russia has Syria. We have Israel.”   There is/was no “occupied” or “country” of “Palestine”; it was a pejorative name given by the Romans against the Jews. There was never a government, constitution, monetary system, language, culture, art, architecture or literature unique to Palestinian people. The Arabs identified as The Arabs identified as southern Syrians until they assumed the name Palestinians after losing their aggressive war in 1967, to create for themselves a bond to the land. A Jewish kingdom existed in the land between 1050 and 930 BCE and a Jewish presence for 3,000 years.  The Balfour Declaration (1917), San Remo Conference (1920), the League of Nations (1920), carved out the Palestine Mandate for the Jewish homeland; Israel was established as the Jewish state (1948) with Jewish majority on purchased, settled land, with full civil, political and cultural rights to all its minorities.
  • 04/07, “But the United States didn’t have any problem with Israel killing 3,000 people in Gaza. I mean, we have also to look at our own government where we’re poisoning our own people in Michigan.”  Where are the bodies to support this outrageous statement?  These are blatant lies and defamation against Israel and America, said out of sheer ignorance, with no one to refute the malicious condemnations.
  • 03/04, “I am strongly opposed to Israeli policy towards Palestinians.  Why is it I am constantly labeled as anti-Semitic?”  Palestinians who live peacefully within Israel are treated equally to other Israeli citizens under the law, but Palestinians are teaching hate of Jews; encouraging stabbing and throwing stones and bombs at Israeli targets; demanding land to which they have no DNA connection, archaeological or historical evidence of attachment as have the Jews.  Palestinians, like other Arabs, are pursuing jihad just as Muslims are overtaking many of Europe’s countries.  The caller is justly labeled anti-Semitic for demonizing and delegitimizing Jews within their own country, but not condemning the Muslims who are invading and attacking the people of other countries.
  • 03/03, “[Israel’s Prime Minister] Benjamin Netanyahu hated President Obama. I don’t think it was because of him being President. It was because of his color. That is one thing we have to deal with.”  Israel is home to Jews of every country of origin and color skin, from Africa, China, and more.  Israel rescued dark-skinned Ethiopian Jews to Israel, in Operation Solomon.

C-Span has repeatedly aired events that denigrate America and Israel, such as Noura Erakat of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee in September, known Louis Farrakhan in November, and propagandist Salam Al-Marayati of the Muslim Public Affairs Council in December. They primarily concentrate on resistance to Jews in Israel and the West Bank (Judea, Samaria), and the ethnic cleansing of Jews from their historic homeland.  The Cable-Satellite network continues to air Palestinian propaganda films as factual, and hosted Palestinian panelists who spread anti-Israel propaganda.

C-Span is wreaking harm against Israel and America by providing the venue for the fueling of hate against these keepers of the world’s moral clarity and tricking the uninformed to support the aspirations of totalitarianism to their own detriment.  How does such an organization take it upon itself to work against the very survival of democracy and their own descendants!  If C-Span and Time Warner Cable cannot stop their unprofessionalism and hate mongering and police themselves, perhaps it is time for Congress to step in.

The KGB: A Global Terrorist Agency

America faces an existential threat from the “Axis of Evil” run by Russia. While the social media is boiling in destructive activities against Trump and his children in Washington D.C., f rom his podium in Moscow, Putin announced on March 1, 2018 that Russia has developed an “unstoppable” nuclear cruise missile that can hit any target on the globe — and cannot be stopped by any missile interception system currently in use. He also showed a simulation of a Nuke Attack on Florida, saying: “Russia remained a nuclear power, but no one wanted to listen to us. Listen to us now.”

Putin’s speech reminded me of the speeches of two other leaders: Hitler’s in 1945 and Andropov’s in 1982. Both had threatened the world with a new nuclear force and both were aimed at domestic consumption. Putin’s talk about a new Cold War reminded me also of the time of the Warsaw Military Pact in Eastern Europe under the complete Russian dominance, after WW II. Today, it is a dreadful repetition of history—Putin playing a geopolitical chess-game. To interpret this game correctly the awareness of his “Axis of Evil” and knowledge of the Russian Intelligence which is running it, is imperative.

I have been writing about an ongoing WW III waged by the KGB against Western civilization and its capitalist economic system for the last thirty years. Due to our erroneous foreign policy, the United States is in fact already in the middle of the war — even if it’s only just starting to realize it. Better late than never. We had given TIME to the Russian Intel to establish and complete the “Axis of Evil,” which today in 2018 consists of North Korea, China, Iran, Syria, Venezuela,

Turkey, and Islamic terror groups including Palestinians. All of them are run and coordinated by Russia.

I began writing about Russia and its Intelligence agency the KGB, as soon as my English allowed me, approximately thirty year ago. Today this agency’s name is the FSB, yet I continue writing and calling it the KGB for many reasons; the main one is that at the time I was a Soviet defense attorney the agency name was the

KGB. Under eight different names the Russian Intel was practicing the same most nefarious, brutal, and unspeakable modus operandi, sponsoring its satellites with arms, weaponry, nuclear, chemical and biological WMD. Be ready for a new technology provided by Russia to the “Axis of Evil” today …

Raoul Wallenberg and His Murderers

I believe that history is the Mother of all sciences. Awareness of the past can prevent a lot of troubles in the present and solve many problems in the future. So from the past, do you know the name of Raoul Wallenberg? Don’t be ashamed if you don’t; none of my students in the New York University had known the man.  To know the Russian Intel, I have to go to history to show you the major role of the Soviet military intelligence in WWII, and the illegal methods implemented by them.

So, have you ever heard the name Raoul Wallenberg? He was a real hero during WWII—he had saved thousands of Jews and people of other religions from the Nazis in Hungary. A famous Swede, he had been working under the noses of Nazis in the Swedish Embassy in Budapest and other cities helping Jewish people to escape. His activities cannot be called anything other than heroic. The entire world was grateful to him for his courage and bravery. However, as soon as the Soviet Army entered Budapest in 1944, Raoul Wallenberg disappeared from the face of the earth! He was kidnapped by the Soviet intelligence. For many years nobody knew his fate.

Immigrating to the U.S. in 1981, by chance I came upon material explaining at last where and how Raoul Wallenberg died. And this is another story connecting us again with the Soviet Intelligence. In 1946, the man named Victor Abakumov was appointed head of the Ministry for State Security—the MGB, a precursor of the

KGB. “Abakumov was a notoriously brutal Chekist who tortured people with his own hands.” PWHCE. He had worked under the general supervision of Beria.

After Stalin’s death in March 1953, Beria was overthrown; Abakumov was charged and tried for his role in the case known as the Leningrad Affair and executed in December 1954.

I have read a protocol of his interrogation and there he mentioned Raoul Wallenberg. Abakumov alleged that Raoul Wallenberg died of a heart attack in A small footnote stressed by Abakumov: The NKVD, MGB, and KGB had perfected the injections, which were provoking heart attacks. I had known about KGB’s secret laboratory before. What I did not know was that the secret laboratory had the ability to develop different substances, which when injected were bringing desirable results for the KGB. In the case of Raoul Wallenberg it was a heart attack—the KGB had murdered Raoul Wallenberg by their usual criminal way…

This story illustrates the ugly face of Russia today, run by the heirs of the Checka and KGB, the contemporary FSB.

I have another point as well. Telling you the story of Raoul Wallenberg, I thought that he was the first victim of modern kidnapping. I was wrong. Reading Mao: The Unknown Story, I found that the son of Chiang-Kai-shek was kidnapped by the Soviets a decade earlier and lived in the Soviet Union. Maybe that was the reason Chiang-Kai-shek could not break up with the Soviets and lost his country to the Communists in the end.

To illustrate modern kidnapping, I will give you another horrific event. The Italian Prime Minister Aldo Morro was kidnapped by the Italian Red Brigades and later he was assassinated. The Red Brigades had been the military force of the Italian Communist Party. For your information 20 percent of the Italian police were Communists in the 1970s. I hope the issue of modern kidnapping, killing, and their origin is clear to you. Those practices and others show you the nature and essence of Russian Intelligence.

A Human Hand, Intent, and the Ideology of Soviet Fascism

I hope those examples have opened your eyes and allowed me to bring you to the present series of shootings in our country. As you know, I came from a socialist country—the entire population of the Soviet Union had been disarmed, let alone guns, even a hunting knife was forbidden. As a former defense attorney, I can testify to the following: that law forbidding weapons did not stop crimes like murders and serious injuries–bad people continued using guns, knives, basketball bits, and …iron pans, like my client, who killed her husband by an iron pan. Those listed above- guns, knives, basketball bits, and iron pans- are inanimate objects, they can’t move, they don’t have will or intent. It is a human hand that moves them according to the individual’s will, and his or her motivation. The growing national debates on guns and mental illness have a very painful history. I started writing about both many years ago, in September 2002, and describing Soviet fascism as the aggressor, I gave a then current example at the time:

“The attempt to assassinate Pope John Paul II by using surrogate Bulgarians and a mentally sick Turkish man remind me of another Stalin technique or device: using mentally ill and unstable individuals in assassinations. Hasn’t history repeated itself not only in Russia, but on our soil as well? Do you remember killings in Los Angeles, Washington DC, and other places committed by mentally ill people?

Isn’t it a strange coincidence again? No, the tragedy of our lives is unawareness.

We are at war, in WWIII for many decades now. We have been systematically targeted on different fronts and locations. Alas, my beloved America has not recognized it yet, the prior knowledge of Stalinism is lacking in American society… Yet, I can’t afford to stop unmasking Soviet Fascism—it is time to do or die. “The Russian Factor: From Cold War to Global Terrorism, by S. Do you also remember Stalin’s list of leaders to be assassinated? For your information, dozens of foreign and domestic leaders have been assassinated by the order of the KGB’s Chairman Yuri Andropov. In my books and columns, I gave you a detailed description of Chairman Andropov. President Putin is the student of Chairman Yuri Andropov. I hope that the Free World will finally seriously approach the study of Soviet Fascism and its leaders to stop the agony in the world. Just look at the ugly ongoing war against the leaders of Western civilization, the Trump and Netanyahu families—it is Soviet fascism in action, fighting for survival. Obama and Putin mortally hate Trump and Netanyahu. Putin never helped Trump to win, it is Leftist propaganda Soviet style, to cover-up the treason committed by them.

 The KGB in America

Today, in 2018 the agony of the world is still going on and it came to America by the Obama/Putin Alliance during Obama’s presidency. The debate on guns and mental illness is a part of the Obama/Putin Alliance, yet no one has connected the horrifying issue of attacking our children to the “Axis of Evil,” run by the Russian KGB Government. I would. The injection that murdered Raoul Wallenberg can be repeated with different substances desired by the KGB shooting in an ampule by a soundless gun. In this case it is the substance to worsen, aggravate, and exacerbate the psychological state of the killers in Columbine, Sandy Hooks, and many other places… Russian Intel, especially the KGB is a syndicate of professional snipers, killers, and murderers. Why the Democrats are pushing for gun-control, is because they are socialists aimed at disarming Americans, like Stalin, Andropov, and Putin did in Russia and Hitler in Germany—the reason I am writing about Soviet fascism today…

Our Government didn’t act on 45 tips, red flag warnings to prevent the tragedy of Valentine Day in Florida. You now know that the KGB works much better in our space of Facebook, Twitter, and using any opportunities to kill, harm, undermine, and destroy the system of the American Republic left to us by our Founding Fathers.

The gun control debate was a central focus of CPAC this year. I completely agree with Judge Pirro and her emotional speech there: “I own guns because it’s my right,” she explained. “And you’re not going to take it away. It is a natural right confirmed by the very people who founded this nation.” She gave the naked truth to the audience and the audience reacted accordingly with real enthusiasm.

The rally against Trump in New York City was organized by the KGB and the circumstances are helping the KGB to do its dirty dealings in America. Our DOJ and FBI are politicized and paralyzed. The Attorney General is surrounded by

Obama’s holdovers in the DOJ, who are keeping him in dark to undermine the Trump administration, and give more time to the KGB to organize and facilitate another 9/11, In addition to that, the AG is a man with no clue of the war waged against us by the Russian Intel in cahoots with some Democrats and 184 Leftist organizations subsidized by George Soros and other traitors in America. Those exact combined forces are fighting Trump today and I am afraid that Russia is running this plot as well—this is Soviet fascism in action on our soil.

The Anti-Trump crowd is well organized and run by the Deep State (Obama/Putin Alliance.) Do you remember the election campaign of 2016? There were several Trump rallies troubled by violent forces of the Democrat Party, one rally was even cancelled to prevent the violence. Moreover, the Democrats paid $150 to every thug participating in the violence. Here is the evidence of how it happened:

That was two years ago, an application of force to achieve a political result—a typical element of the ideology of Soviet fascism. Considering the Obama/Putin Alliance, which I have been writing about for the last nine years, I think that the appointment of Special Counsel, Robert Muller was a continuation of the same policy of obstruction, directed against the Trump administration and Republicans. Moreover, behind all of that, I see the deep conspiracy organized by the KGB in the very beginning:

“I think we now know that the Mueller investigation is illegitimate and corrupt,”

Fox legal analyst Gregg Jarrett said on Sean Hannity’s self-titled show. Jarrett continued:

“Mueller has been using the FBI as a political weapon, and the FBI has become America’s secret police: secret surveillance, wire-tapping, intimidation, harassment, and threats — it’s like the old KGB that comes for you in the dark of the night, banging through your door. Ask Paul Manafort. They came for him and broke through his front door.”

It was only one man, Gregg Jarrett, who recalled the methods of the old KGB. Perhaps, he read my books or columns—I am comparing the Democrats’ and Leftists’ methods of operations with the KGB’s pretty often. Today, I see all elements of Soviet fascism aimed at destroying President Trump by the things that had never happened.

Mysterious Deaths by Suicides or the Soviet Medicine

The KGB has a variety of methods and tricks to harm, injure, or kill people.

Mysterious deaths by suicide is one of the events in the arsenal of methods practiced by the evil-KGB. I have already given you an example about this mystery talking about Raoul Wallenberg killed by the “Soviet Medicine” in my book What is Happening to America? pp. 115-117.

I believe that many Republican leaders were killed later by using the same “Soviet medicine.” I believe that Sonny Bono was assassinated—he used to bring a lot of money to the coffers of the Republican Party. Therefore pay attention to snipers; they can use soundless guns with ampules of the “Soviet medicine.” If it is a heart attack, nobody is looking further… I also suspect that Rev. Jerry Falwell was assassinated as well. He was a determined leader of the Conservative movement, the Moral Majority, bringing victory to the Republican Party and Ronald Reagan. The FBI either didn’t know where to look for the criminals, or did not want to look there.

The FBI is also uninformed in terms of the vindictive methods of the KGB targeting the leaders of the opposition. A Jewish spy “Angel” was thrown over a balcony in the center of London. He helped Israel in the 1973 war, providing crucial information. Just apply logic and you will know who the “Angel’s’ enemies are. I have another suspicion as well. The catastrophe of the Space Shuttle in 2003 was not accidental. A member of the team, Ilan Ramon, from Israel was researching the way to change the climate—the subject of the Soviet’s monopoly. Read how the Russians tried to change the climate and about Pluton in The Russian Factor​, Xlibris, 2006 pp. 306-308. For decades the FBI failed to expose Soviet Fascism.

Returning to our days, I’d like to recall Justice Antonin Scalia. He was an exceptional human being. The Jurist who paved the direction to our Supreme Court. The circumstances of his death are very suspicious and there was no investigation with knowledge of the “Soviet medicine.” I know that Putin applies his knowledge of chess to geopolitics and he can see 3-4 steps ahead. Maybe the Obama/Putin Alliance knows more about Antonin Scalia’s death? Look at the number of threats to assassinate President Trump! It is prelude to action! I hope that the information I gave you today will help you to interpret correctly the events going on in America and across the globe.

Conclusion: Knowledge is Power

For nine years I have been writing about the Obama/Putin Alliance and in all those years information about my writings has been suppressed by the FBI, which was collaborated and subordinated to the Alliance. The Dossier on Trump was cooked and manufactured by The KGB, I am sure of it. So, my conclusion is the following: there are two types of people committing betrayals in America: those who do not like the system established by our Founding Fathers– they are currently collaborating with the KGB to destroy America, and those politicians who haven’t a clue about the KGB, hence becoming their accomplices.

Trump alone is showing a multi-faceted resistance to that war waged by the Democrats of Obama/Putin Alliance. He does not have a lot of help to him from other Republicans. Perhaps, they never read my books and columns, suppressed by the FBI. Yes, America faces an existential threat from the “Axis of Evil” run by

Russia. Vladimir Putin will be the Russian President for another six years. We should be ready for another attack a-la 9/11. I believe it is now in the process of being developed at the beneficial and appropriate time for the KGB, while the social media, Democrats, Leftists, and traitors are boiling in destructive activities against the Trump and Netanyahu families… Just look around…

Politicide: The attempted murder of the Jewish state by Victor Sharpe [Book Review]

The word Politicide was first coined by Abba Eban––Israel’s foreign minister in 1967––to describe the attempted murder of the sovereign, independent State of Israel by enemies both within and outside of the fledgling state.

When Victor Sharpe first read the word, he told me how it resonated in “the deepest parts of my heart and soul.”

A passionate student of Jewish history––as well as a prolific writer on contemporary Jewish and geopolitical issues––Sharpe was mobilized into action, believing that his determination to protect and defend Israel and to illuminate the wider public about the tiny state’s chronically imperiled status, demanded that he write a book about…Politicide!

His first Politicide book was published in 2006, with a second book following in 2009, and a third book in 2011. Now he has written his fourth opus: Politicide: The attempted murder of the Jewish state.

In this riveting volume, Sharpe describes in painful detail the annihilating attacks upon the ancient Jewish homeland by the immensely powerful Assyrian, Babylonian, Greek and Roman empires, which, significantly, no longer exist.

He also describes the inexpressible suffering endured by the stateless Jews throughout their 2,000 years of exile in the diaspora, during the Crusades and the Inquisition, and through the cruel expulsion of Jews from various countries including England, Spain and Portugal, the bleak pogroms in Poland and Russia, and to the worst crime in human history, the genocide during the 1940s of six-million Jews in Hitler’s German-occupied Europe.

But to counter this painful history, Sharpe describes in vivid detail the exceptional history of Jewish life from its beginning with Abraham the first Jew––the Holy Convert––who left his idol-making father after discovering the existence of the one-and-only God, thus establishing monotheism for the entire world.

He describes how Abraham and his wife Sarah, along with Isaac and Rebecca and Jacob and Leah and Rachel, became the patriarchs and matriarchs of the Jewish People in the eternal and Covenanted Land of Israel to which God brought them.

And finally, Sharpe tells the story of the miniscule but powerful 14-million Jews who now exist––half of them in the miraculous and flourishing State of Israel––in a world of seven-and-a-half billion people, including over a billion Christians and over a billion Muslims.

On November 29, 1947, the United Nations voted on Resolution 181 to declare the establishment of a Jewish State in the land to be known as Israel. Ironic, yes, that the U.N. today is a virtual cesspool of virulent anti-Semitism run by tin-pot dictators and rancid racists.

On May 14, 1948, the man who would become the first Prime Minister of Israel, David Ben-Gurion, who was then the head of the Jewish Agency, proclaimed the establishment of the State of Israel. On that very day, U.S. President Harry S. Truman recognized the new nation!

On December 6, 2017, U.S. President Donald J. Trump proclaimed the following:

“In 1995, Congress adopted the Jerusalem Embassy Act, urging the federal government to relocate the American embassy to Jerusalem and to recognize that that city…is Israel’s capital. This act passed Congress by an overwhelming bipartisan majority and was reaffirmed by a unanimous vote of the Senate only six months ago. Yet, for over 20 years, every previous American president has exercised the law’s waiver, refusing to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem or to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital city.

“Therefore, I have determined that it is time to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Israel is a sovereign nation with the right like every other sovereign nation to determine its own capital…”

There is even talk that as Israel celebrates its 70th anniversary as a sovereign state this coming May, the American president may be the most honored guest in attendance.

And yet, in the mere 70 years since Israel’s establishment, a resurgence of anti-Semitism is sweeping the globe in what can only be described as a pandemic. This is not surprising for the European countries where it once flourished or for the Muslim countries where their “holy” book mandates the death of all infidels, Jews particularly.

But it is very disheartening that this obsessive Jew hatred is also rampant in the hallowed halls of the United States Congress, where, according to American Thinker’s Thomas Lifson, no less than seven Democrats embrace the Hitler-admiring racist “Reverend” Louis Farrakhan, whose recent remarks include that “the powerful Jews are my enemy.”

All this makes Victor Sharpe’s book downright urgent for readers who are interested in historical facts and not inflammatory and hateful rhetoric. Perhaps by serendipity, it is also the ideal primer for students in the not-so-hallowed halls of American academia––both Jewish and non-Jewish youth alike––whose leftist, anti-Semitic professors expose them to the obscene Boycott-Divest-Sanction movement to destroy Israel and other malevolent anti-Israel indoctrination.

In short, this is a terrific, illuminating, important book that readers will learn from, share with their friends, and cherish for its richness.

Dick’s, Wal-Mart, L.L. Bean and Others Enact Discriminatory Policies in Response to Gun Control Tantrum

In what appears to be a bid to alienate a large swath of the American public in order to appease anti-gun extremists, last week Dick’s Sporting Goods CEO and Chairman Ed Stack issued an open letter in which he announced several changes to the company’s firearms sales policies. According to the missive, Dick’s will no longer sell some configurations of commonly-owned semi-automatic rifles and certain capacity magazines. The company will also refuse to sell firearms to adults ages 18 to 20.

These new policies will also cover Field & Stream stores, which are a Dick’s subsidiary that focuses primarily on outdoor recreation. Gun rights supporters should know that Field & Stream stores have no relation to the publication of the same name. Dick’s also owns Golf Galaxy.

In the days following Stack’s letter, Wal-Mart, Kroger-owned Fred Meyer, and L.L. Bean announced that they would also refuse to recognize the Second Amendment rights of adults ages 18 to 20. Wal-Mart took the additional step of purging nonlethal products that resemble commonly-owned semi-automatic rifles, such as toys and airsoft guns, from their website.

Rather than serving to protect the nation’s schools from violence, the recent corporate outburst against rifles and firearm purchasers serves to reveal an anti-freedom agenda.

Contrary to the inflammatory language used by those in the anti-gun media, the numbers make clear that the U.S. is not experiencing an epidemic of school shootings. While any school shooting is tragic, research by Northeastern University Professor of Criminology, Law, and Public Policy James Alan Fox found that school shootings have been declining since the 1990s. Further, in an article summarizing his research, Fox rejected the idea that a ban on rifle sales to those ages 18 to 20 could curb mass shootings because such incidents are so rare. Fox explained, “The thing to remember is that these are extremely rare events, and no matter what you can come up with to prevent it, the shooter will have a workaround.”

The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Uniform Crime Reporting data shows that there were 374 murders committed with all types of rifles in 2016. That same year, 656 people were murdered where the perpetrator used only their hands and feet. 1,604 people were murdered with “knives or cutting instruments.” Blunt objects, such as bats or golf clubs, were used to commit 472 murders. There has been no word on whether Field & Stream intends to institute background checks on knife sales, nor whether Golf Galaxy will halt their dangerous practice of selling pitching wedges to young adults over the internet.

That there were 374 murders carried out with rifles in 2016 is tragic, but efforts to combat such a small number of fatalities in a nation of more than 320 million by further restricting rifles are destined to fail. The relatively small number of crimes perpetrated with rifles is one of the reasons why federally-funded researchers have repeatedly determined that the 1994 Dianne Feinstein semi-auto rifle and magazine ban did not have an appreciable effect on violent crime.

A 1997 Department of Justice-funded study from the Urban Institute, titled, “Impact Evaluation of the Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act of 1994,” admitted, “At best, the assault weapons ban can have only a limited effect on total gun murders, because the banned weapons and magazines were never involved in more than a modest fraction of all gun murders.”

A follow-up study published in 2004 on the eve of the sunset of the semi-auto ban, titled, “An Updated Assessment of the Federal Assault Weapons Ban: Impacts on Gun Markets and Gun Violence, 1994-2003,” came to a similar conclusion. The researchers noted, “the ban’s impact on gun violence is likely to be small at best, and perhaps too small for reliable measurement.” The study also made clear that “estimates consistently show that AWs [commonly-owned semi-automatic firearms] are used in a small fraction of gun crimes.”

A 2013 Department of Justice memorandum reiterated that commonly-owned semi-automatic rifles are rarely used in crime and that further restricting their sale would be futile. The memo acknowledged, “a complete elimination of assault weapons would not have a large impact on gun homicides.” The document went on to explain, “Since assault weapons are not a major contributor to US gun homicide and the existing stock of guns is large, an assault weapon ban is unlikely to have an impact on gun violence.” The survey also noted that restrictions on the sale of standard-capacity magazines would be fruitless unless coupled with a massive confiscation effort.

Aside from being poor policy, in some circumstances the new corporate restrictions may violate state and local anti-discrimination laws. As First and Second Amendment scholar and UCLA Law Professor Eugene Volokh pointed out in a recent blog post, certain state and local governments have enacted statutes and ordinances that bar discrimination in retail sales involving adults ages 18 to 20.

Dick’s’ corporate counsel doesn’t seem to have considered this eventuality, even though it could affect business in their home state of Pennsylvania. Section 953 of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act states,

The opportunity for an individual to obtain employment for which he is qualified, and to obtain all the accommodations, advantages, facilities and privileges of any public accommodation and of any housing accommodation and commercial property without discrimination because of race, color, familial status, religious creed, ancestry, handicap or disability, age, sex, national origin, the use of a guide or support animal because of the blindness, deafness or physical handicap of the user or because the user is a handler or trainer of support or guide animals is hereby recognized as and declared to be a civil right which shall be enforceable as set forth in this act.

The act goes on to define “public accommodation” to include “retail stores and establishments.”

Fred Meyer’s policy could also face a challenge in their home state of Oregon. Section 659A.403(1) of the Oregon Revised Statutes makes clear,

all persons within the jurisdiction of this state are entitled to the full and equal accommodations, advantages, facilities and privileges of any place of public accommodation, without any distinction, discrimination or restriction on account of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, marital status or age if the individual is of age, as described in this section, or older.

The sale of alcohol and marijuana are specifically exempted from this section, but there is no such exemption for the sale of firearms.

Astute gun rights supporters will remember that this is not the first time Dick’s has turned their back on gun owners. Back in 2012, Dick’s made headlines when it responded to the shooting in Newtown, Conn. by removing AR-15s from its stores. In doing so, Dick’s reneged on a deal with AR-15 manufacturer Troy Industries to supply the sporting goods chain with rifles. Suggesting that their position on the topic was the product of political posturing rather than actual conviction, when Dick’s launched its Field & Stream brand stores the company made sure to stock them with AR-15s.

Further, gun owners who value their privacy have long-avoided purchasing firearms at Wal-Mart. In 2008, Wal-Mart collaborated with billionaire Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun group Mayors Against Illegal Guns to more thoroughly track retail gun sales. As part of the effort, Wal-Mart agreed to maintain a video record of all firearms transactions within their stores. Some viewed the changes as an attempt to curry favor with then-New York City Mayor Bloomberg in order to improve the company’s chances of opening a store in Gotham.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation estimated that in 2017 the firearms and ammunition industry accounted for $51.3 billion in total economic activity. With 100 million gun owners nationwide, the shooting sports are big business and the industry’s customers can exert a significant amount of influence when they make decisions regarding their firearms and ammunition purchases and their buying habits more generally. Moreover, retailers should be aware that firearms consumers exhibit a loyalty and political awareness uncommon to many industries – a trait born out of necessity. Let there be no doubt that America’s gun owners will remember the corporations that sought to scapegoat them during a moment of tragedy.

Planned Profiting: Abortion Biz Rakes in Taxpayer Cash

Breaking the law doesn’t help your chances for earning federal dollars — but apparently, it doesn’t hurt them either! If there’s one thing Planned Parenthood’s learned over the last few years, it’s that crime does pay. A lot, according to the Government Accountability Office (GAO). Despite piles of evidence (some of it from the group’s own mouth) that Cecile Richards’s group was illegally selling baby body parts (after performing equally illegal late-term abortions), a new report shows the wrongdoing hasn’t made the slightest dent in its taxpayer-funded gravy train — at least on the federal level.On the contrary, GAO officials found, being referred for criminal prosecution didn’t result in so much as a financial blip for Richards and company.

Between 2013-15, Planned Parenthood, its international affiliates, and Marie Stopes International dug deep into taxpayers’ pockets, banking a whopping $1.5 billion from federal and state programs like Medicaid, Medicare, Title X, and CHIP.

But even more amazingly, four of the five Planned Parenthood locations that raked in the most money are the same ones under investigation by the FBI! Planned Parenthood offices in Mar Monte ($229 million), Los Angeles ($106 million), Pacific Southwest ($105 million), and Northern California ($104 million).The news disgusted a number of House conservatives, many of whom were part of the select panel a couple of years later that referred the organization to the Justice Department. Obviously, it’s offensive that taxpayers are forced to fund anyone that performs abortion — but we certainly shouldn’t fund the groups who break the law doing it! Live Action president Lila Rose can’t understand why Democrats don’t agree.

“This should not be a partisan issue. Even those politicians who support abortion should be honest enough to admit that taxpayers shouldn’t be funding an organization embroiled in such barbaric and likely criminal acts – especially when there are federally-qualified health centers where the money could be redirected to help more people. DaVinci Biosciences, one of Planned Parenthood’s partners in the baby organ trade, has already admitted to breaking federal law.”

Rep. Diane Black (R-Tenn.), who, along with fellow Tennessean Marsha Blackburn (R) has been leading the fight to defund Planned Parenthood, is absolutely sickened by this betrayal of taxpayers’ trust. “Industry giants like Planned Parenthood perform more than 320,000 abortions every year, and this GAO report exposes that these atrocities are done at the expense of taxpayers…. Abortion is not family planning,” she added. “Abortion is family destruction, and the fact that $1.5 billion in taxpayer dollars is funneled to this industry is sickening. The American people deserve better.”

Most agree. Only 36 percent of the country thinks taxpayers should be forced to foot the bill for abortion. But I’m willing to bet that even they wouldn’t approve of sending that money to an organization that’s believed to have broken a long list of federal and state laws.

As for Republicans, 120 asked GAO to run the numbers, this report ought to light another fire under Congress to ramp up its push to defund Planned Parenthood. If Democrats want to stop the GOP, let them stand in front of voters and own it. President Trump has done what he can internationally and through executive order. He needs the House and Senate to do the rest.

Hey girls! You are never going to change the world by just sitting down and shutting up.  Historian, Laurel Thatcher Ulrich, reminded us of this when she said, “Well-behaved women seldom make history.” The same sentiment is repeated in the great little book, Nice Girls Don’t Change the World by Lynne Hybels, co-founder of Willow Creek Church near Chicago.

March has been designated as Women’s history month. As I look over the many lists of famous women in history, while they all had widely differing personalities, religious leanings, and political affiliations, one thing that they had in common was the ability to dream, strong beliefs and tenacity.

They broke through molds, glass ceilings and the expectations of others.

There is not one dream or direction or focus of interest that is more valuable than any other. We are created to be unique. We are constantly battling against a society and culture that says, “Fit in,” “Look like everyone else,” “Make sure everyone agrees with you before you open your mouth.” We are even told to make sure you are right before you launch out, because you don’t want to fail or to appear foolish. I have never been able to figure out why on earth we give permission to other people, who are just as insecure as we are, quite possibly more so, who have no idea where we have been or why we think the way we do, to judge our ideas and actions as being acceptable or not. You know that’s crazy, right?

The problem is that same voice, that same belief, that same thought process is loudly raging all around us and is difficult to ignore. However, there are many women throughout history that have heard that voice and dismissed it, or at least pushed past it in order to live their destiny and change the course of history.

What would have happened if Susan B. Anthony had decided it was just too hard, and the naysayers were just too loud and decided to just sit down and shut up? She spent 60 years of her life fighting for equality and died without having achieved her goal. But we, now, benefit from her tireless persistence.

Anne Frank knew the powers that be, at the time, were just plain wrong. Living in the midst of a culture that was chaotic and hate-filled, she was known through her diaries as having an indomitable spirit filled with hope and joyful expectation, claiming “It’s utterly impossible for me to build my life on a foundation of chaos, suffering and death.” She was all about living your truth and not waiting for permission, or holding back, expecting circumstances to change. “How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world,”she said.

Indira Gandhi, Prime Minister of India for four terms warned against rivalry against others in our quest of fulfillment. “To be liberated, woman must feel free to be herself, not in rivalry to man but in the context of her own capacity and her personality.” Your only competition is you. Your only detractor that can hold you back is your own collection of thoughts and beliefs.

Coco Chanel, encouraging the differences between us is known to have said, “In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different.”  She decided that the fashion had to be changed and followed her vision to do just that, encouraging each of us to be our own genuine, unique self.

Saint Mother Teresa

Mother Theresa saved her world, one person at a time and opposed a culture of indifference and changing family patterns by simply following her call to ministry. She didn’t care what it looked like. And she resisted being bought by big donors. She was never looking for fame or position, just the fulfillment of what she felt called to do.

Called crazy and delusional, Joan of Arc lived her reality, and in so doing, changed the course of French history, and was burned at the stake as a witch because of it. She said, “One life is all we have and we live it as we believe in living it. But to sacrifice what you are and to live without belief, that is a fate more terrible than dying.”

The first woman to fly across the Atlantic, Amelia Earhart, while also setting many other records, as well said, “The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process is its own reward.” She encourages us to just make a decision, and move forward from there.

These women came from different times, different religions and nationalities all with a different dream, goal or calling. What they had in common was:

  • They had a strong belief in their dream or calling.
  • They did not let opposition stop them.
  • They refused to be pulled off target by the opinions of others.
  • They were not distracted by pettiness or discouragement or fear.

They simply kept their eye on their goal. Some of them did not live to see their victory. Some where not validated like they could have been. But each one of them advanced the cause of righteousness, the power and capability of women, and made the world a better place in a diverse and enriching way.

You don’t need anyone’s permission to change the world. Just do what’s in your heart, refusing to be knocked off track by opposition or judgment or opinion or pettiness. Keep your eye on your goal. Don’t allow yourself to be squeezed into a mold that you don’t fit into. Create your own mold and blaze your own trail. The world needs more independent thinkers with focus and determination. We are making history everyday, just by being who we were created to be.

Obama-Era Policies Helped Keep Parkland Shooter Under the Radar. Here’s What Went Wrong.

One of the most heartbreaking and perhaps infuriating aspects of the Florida school shooting that took 17 lives is just how many red flags there were surrounding the shooter.

The national debate following the shooting has mostly revolved around guns. Much ink has also (rightly) been spilled about the failed leadership of the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in its moment of crisis.

What’s been lost in this discussion are the issues of school safety and discipline. Those issues are highly relevant to what took place in Parkland.

Prior to the mass shooting, Nikolas Cruz was involved in a huge number of incidents on and off campus, numerous calls were made to the police, and the was FBI even involved. He certainly appeared to be a ticking time bomb.

It would seem that somewhere along the way, he should have been stopped before the shooting took place.

But that wasn’t the case.

Max Eden, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, explained in City Journal how an Obama-era Department of Education initiative designed to put an end to the “school to prison pipeline,” combined with local mismanagement, helped allow the shooter to fall through the cracks.

“[I]n 2013, the school board and the sheriff’s office agreed on a new policy to discontinue police referrals for a dozen infractions ranging from drug use to assault,” Eden wrote.

A separate report by RealClearInvestigations found that Broward County was part of a “vanguard of a strategy, adopted by more than 50 other major school districts nationwide, allowing thousands of troubled, often violent, students to commit crimes without legal consequence.”

This was part of a larger Obama administration effort, launched in 2011, to reduce racial disparities in school discipline numbers, according to RealClearInvestigations.

“Students charged with various misdemeanors, including assault, would now be disciplined through participation in ‘healing circles,’ obstacle courses, and other ‘self-esteem building’ exercises,” the report said.

“We must ensure that school discipline is being handled by trained educators, not by law enforcement officers,” said former Secretary of Education John King in 2016. “Some schools are simply turning misbehaving students over to [school resource officers]. This can set students on a path to dropping out or even to prison.”

Florida’s Broward County, which is where the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting took place, was a leader in adopting this new program and was even touted for it by former Education Secretary Arne Duncan.

The number of school arrests dropped dramatically in the years that followed, but that didn’t mean serious crimes weren’t taking place.

The Parkland shooter was involved in a number of alarming incidents, including assault and bringing bullets to campus, for which he was eventually moved to another school.

Yet the police never arrested the shooter or expelled him, which is in part why he passed a federal background check and was able to purchase a firearm.

The red flags swirling around the shooter went unheeded, and it appears that Broward County’s lax policies deserve some of the blame.

Nevertheless, it’s worth noting there have been many problems with “zero tolerance” policies as well, which became common in the 1990s.

These policies, which Congress designed in part to make school campuses gun-free zones, have at times criminalized behavior that was innocuous and that certainly didn’t require police involvement—hence, the stories about students being suspended for chewing a Pop-Tart into the shape of a gun or being arrested for wearing an National Rifle Association shirt.

In dealing with campus policing practices, it’s important not to overreact to problems and thereby create new problems. Zero tolerance policies come with their own complications.

There is no single policy or idea that can solve the school discipline and school shooter problem overnight, but it’s not unreasonable to expect a department to change its practices after such a catastrophic failure as we saw in Parkland last month.

Whether Broward County and the federal government will honestly evaluate their own failures and change policies remains to be seen.

The media is intent on urgently reporting and discussing the importance of the temporarily reduced security clearance of Trump advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner.

But when Obama Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes was actually denied security clearance in 2008, the media yawned. Actually, it never even reported something this newsworthy and, apparently, if the media doesn’t report it, it doesn’t happen.

Recall that Rhodes was not only a high-level advisor to Obama, but he was the architect of the now-infamous Iran nukes deal involving cases of cash flown on a plane to Tehran while creating a pathway for nukes to the repressive, terrorist, Islamist regime. Further, he was the one who misled Congress and the public on the terms of the agreement.

Yet it was not until January 2017, days before Obama was out of office, that the Washington Free Beacon reported:

Ben Rhodes, a White House deputy national security adviser who led the administration’s efforts to mislead Congress about the terms of the Iran nuclear agreement, is under scrutiny in the wake of disclosures he was declined interim clearance status by the FBI in 2008, when the administration was moving into the White House.

The Washington Times followed up with a report and the Free Beacon did some follow-up stories on the congressional inquiry. Google does not show any mainstream media coverage of this story, even once Congress was looking into it and the issue was fully public.

This context is hugely important. Because people may think that Jared Kushner not getting his security clearance is not only important, but showing a pattern of chaos, disruption and disreputable characters in the White House. But does it? No, at least not when we look in light of what has happened in previous administrations, even if they were not reported or barely reported.

We reported on this problem previously by comparing Trump’s personal peccadillos to presidents of the past, which were barely reported or not reported until historic biographies told the stories.

From JFK’s stream of prostitutes and drugs into the White House far exceeding anything even in Trump’s past, let alone in his White House, to LBJ’s wild racism and infatuation with telling people about his manly package, to Bill Clinton, Trump comes off looking pretty mild. But you wouldn’t know that by consuming only the traditional media because they are covering Trump differently and thereby misleading the American people.

This continually manifests itself in the hysterically funny claim by many Democrats that the Obama administration was the most corruption-free administration in modern American history. This is so easy to debunk — but not if you only get news from the traditional media. Here we report five scandals from the Obama years that could legitimately require a special counsel and that the media had no real interest in pursuing.

This lack of context due to media reporting double standards pops up everywhere.

I was on an ABC panel last night discussing this and other issues with a Florida Democratic Party Chairman and a Tampa Bay Times political correspondent along with the ABC moderator. None of the three of them had heard anything about this Rhodes story. But they knew all about Jared Kushner.

This, of course, goes to the alternate universe that has grown in the wake of the media’s abdication of any journalistic responsibility. Taking sides as the media did clearly during the Obama years, and then did on steroids since Trump’s election, has resulted in two competing narratives of every story out there. This is a prime example and explains why so much on social media appears to be people talking from different planets.

Censorship by Twitter and Facebook using Snopes and other leftist organizations will hardly fix “fake news” in this sense. It will, however magnify the alternate universe paradigm.

And that means that virtually every new eruption from the media on the Trump White House requires the understanding that this may or may not be much of anything. And that requires some truthful context.

DACA Is a Cheap Amnesty Ploy

Every year, millions of families make the trip to one of Disney’s famous amusement parks. Thousands of parents diligently save to bring their young children on the vacation of a lifetime.

Honeymooning newlyweds stroll the streets of “The Happiest Place on Earth,” snapping pictures with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. Some visitors even pick up a season pass to enjoy this magical place all year round.

But what if there was an easier way to enter Disney World? What if your status as a child under the age of 16 entitled you to a lifetime pass? And what if that pass not only entitled you to free entry but automatic access to every one of Disney’s special VIP perks?

And what if the only condition was that you have a parent carry you into the park? Sound unfair?

Well, that’s exactly what the bipartisan open border club has been telling hardworking Americans they must do when it comes to DACA, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. “Compassion,” they proclaim. “It’s the right thing to do,” the insulated elites exclaim.

The hardworking parents who took on extra shifts to pay the ticket price for admission certainly would appreciate learning of such “compassion.” Disney’s shareholders would likely revolt, slamming the board members who so carelessly voted to open park doors.

And wait until you saw the new lines of young parents desperately trying to get their children into Disney to take advantage of such a unique opportunity.

But this isn’t a low-stakes issue involving theme parks and line-skippers. This is a dangerous national security issue that’s putting our country at risk and setting a dangerous precedent for our nation.

For decades, the establishment immigration lobby has been insisting Americans give so-called “Dreamers” a lifetime pass to America: citizenship. Don’t worry, they say. These “Dreamers” will enhance the American experience.

At the same time, the open borders club turns a blind eye to the pitiful state of our immigration system, demanding that immigrants who skip the box office be welcomed into our arms.

Those same elites never mention the millions of law-abiding and hardworking immigrants who enter our country legally—some after waiting over a decade to join this place we call home—and are getting delayed and punished for following the law.

They certainly never discuss the thousands of felons shielded from deportation by so-called “prosecutorial discretion” (translation: ignoring congressionally-passed law).

And the American citizens who refuse to reward the line-skippers and call for enforcement of our current laws first? Attacks of racism, bigotry, and, yes, anti-Americanism.

What good is having a price for park admission or a national immigration policy if they are not enforced? Why subject any potential immigrant to vigorous background checks if other immigrants can walk right across our border, wait a couple of years, and unlock the golden ticket: American citizenship?

Americans know DACA is nothing more than a cheap ploy for amnesty, a sort of citizenship-for-votes scheme that could only be hatched in the darkest corners of Washington, D.C., by liberal elites.

The forgotten men and women of America have a message to the backroom wheelers and dealers in Washington feverishly looking for a so-called permanent “DACA fix” in 2018: Do your job. Secure our border. Keep America a place that rewards those who work hard and come here legally.

And most importantly: Do not reward law-breakers. Anything less would be, well, goofy.

Senators Schumer and McCain call for the banning of knives, clubs, feet and fists after shocking FBI report on ‘aggravated assaults’

Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Senator John McCain (R-AZ) after reviewing the most recent FBI data showing that knives, clubs, fists and feet account for 75.8% of the weapons used during “aggravated assaults” have decided to introduce legislation to fix this national crisis.

The proposed legislation will require a mandatory background check for anyone possessing one or more of these mass assault (MA) weapons, not to be confused with the abbreviation for the state of Massachusetts. The Schumer/McCain Aggravated Assault Prevention Act (SMAAPA) has bipartisan support in the U.S. Senate.

The FBI report has spawned the #FeetMeToo #FistMeToo #KnifeMeToo and #ClubMeToo movements.

A spokesperson for Senators Schumer and McCain released the following statement:

The Senators wants to make America safe again. After reviewing the latest FBI data Senators Schumer, McCain and the Democratic caucus have decided that swift action must be taken to keep knives, clubs, feet and fists out of the hands of law abiding citizens, no pun intended.

To achieve the goal of “zero aggravated assaults” in the year 2525, not to be confused with the song of the same name, all American citizens, legal and illegal, must register all knives, clubs, fists and feet in their household with the local police. The legislation provides for a national database listing knives, clubs, feet and fists be fully funded, using money intended for the border wall. Anyone seen using a knife, club, their feet or fists in an aggressive manner, like during an NFL football game, will be reported by law enforcement and added to the federal database.

A background check will be mandated before anyone is allowed to own or posses a knife, a club, two hands and two feet. When a child is born, effective on the date of the passage of this important legislation, hands and feet will have a serial number tattooed on the child’s hands and feet and those numbers placed into the federal database.

Members of the National Rifle Association, Trump supporters and all registered Republicans, with the exception of John McCain, will be the first required to turn in their mass assault (MA) weapons, designated MA-15s, into local law enforcement.

Home Depot and Lowe’s Home Improvement/Hardware Stores have stated that when the legislation is passed all club like items will be removed from their stores nationwide. Items include, but are not limited to, 2’x4′ lumber, hammers, sledge hammers and ax handles.

Additionally, podiatrists and orthopedic hand specialists will be required to register the extremities of every person in the United States and place them in the national database. Anyone caught making a fist, like in a boxing match, will be immediately arrested for microaggression.

California and New York have already banned the use of knives in restaurants by staff and customers as part of their zero tolerance in accordance with their states’ anti-aggravated assault program.

Under the Schumer/McCain Aggravated Assault Prevention Act, the National Tattoo Association will be awarded a multi-billion dollar contract to tattoo serial numbers on the hands and feet of an estimated 63 million citizens who elected Donald Trump president.

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is lobbying against having fists included in the legislation. “The raised black fist has become a symbol of black protest in America” noted NAACP Board Chairman Leon W. Russell. A spokesperson for the NAACP at a press conference stated:

Blacks have been raising their fists as a symbol of resistant against white oppression. Hands, feet and fists make up only 26.3% of aggravated assaults. The outlawing of fists is racist. This action by two white Senators is unacceptable. Blacks have a civil right to use their fists.

We ask that lilly white Senators Schumer and McCain recognize that black and fists are synonymous. Only white fists should be outlawed!
