How Trump can change America’s ‘voice’ to win over Europe’s elites

European leaders seemed to gloat over the way they treated Donald Trump at the recent NATO and Group of 7 summits.

The newly-elected boy president of France, Emmanuel Macron, thought he could out-macho the U.S. president in what the media called a “white-knuckle” handshake. Macron weighs in at about 5’8” and 130 pounds, not bad for a 39-year-old who kissed the teacher as a teen.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel felt bathed in popularity when she dissed the president and the NATO alliance in public remarks at a Munich beer garden. “We Europeans must really take our own destiny into our own hands,” she told supporters.

Donald Trump is wildly unpopular across “old” Europe, from Sweden to Greece. He is especially despised by the media and the political class.

But the European elites have trash-talked America for decades, all the while riding on our backs for their national defense. This, of course, was Trump’s point when he called on NATO members to bear their fair share of the joint NATO defense burden, set by the Alliance in 2014 at 2 percent of each nation’s gross domestic product.

Defense spending is not popular in Germany, which prefers to splurge on massive public welfare programs to accommodate the recent influx of more than a million mostly unskilled Middle East and African migrants.

Merkel’s likely opponent in the Sept. 24 national elections, Social Democratic Party leader Martin Schulz, says meeting the NATO goal would impose an “enormous financial burden” on Germany, and “is certainly not the goal that my government would pursue.”

Germany currently spends just 1.19 percent of GDP on defense, ranking No. 16 out of the 28-member alliance, NATO figures show.

I lived and worked in Europe for nearly two decades and regularly return for long working and reporting trips. The European media is overwhelmingly anti-American, not just anti-Trump. It is hard to find objective information about the United States even in supposedly conservative media outlets, except in Britain.

Europe is awash with “fake news” when it comes to America, because it suits the interests of the cultural elites, who seek to promote a lifestyle of big government and political correctness — and, of course, their vast cultural “superiority.”

In the late 1970s, the French media despised President Carter because he was weak and so was the dollar. Terrible! The world was going to end because America was vulnerable.

In the mid-1980s, the same French media despised President Reagan because he was strong and so was the dollar. He was a cowboy and going to provoke a Soviet attack!

There is a pattern here. For the European elites, it is always hip to trash talk America. It is less hip — and far less common — to find hard information and level-headed analysis about the United States.

During the early days of the 2003 liberation of Iraq, a military analyst writing for the gray lady of French journalism, Le Monde, claimed that U.S. soldiers were shooting Iraqi citizens at will. “They face no sanctions when a soldier kills civilians,” he wrote. “They even shoot cows!”

That idiocy actually made the front page, as I reported in my 2004 book, French Betrayal of America. French media spin on the 2003 war was so bad that the French prime minister, Jean-Pierre Raffarin, finally told the press to chill out. “The Americans are not the enemies,” he said.

Trump has a powerful tool he could wield in the war of ideas to help Europeans break down the wall of fake news: the Voice of America (VOA).

But today’s “voice” itself has fallen prey to fake news and anti-American vitriol.

By its charter, signed into law by President Ford in 1974, the Voice of America serves the long-range interests of the United States “by communicating directly with the peoples of the world.”

Its broadcasts must uphold three standards: “VOA will serve as a consistently reliable and authoritative source of news. VOA will represent America, not any single segment of American society. VOA will present the policies of the United States clearly and effectively.”

Today, Voice of America has failed its charter, as any reader of BBGWatch, a blog established by former VOA journalists and editors, can see.

But a reinvigorated Voice of America, staffed by reporters and editors guided by a sense of patriotism and national pride — not partisan politics — can change the way the world views this country.

Imagine if Voice of America began broadcasting once again to Europe, starting with AM and FM radio? These command massive audiences, as the flourishing of commercial radio attests. But VOA is not there.

Imagine if VOA began pushing its daily English-language TV news bulletins over satellite into France, Germany, Sweden, and the like, presenting Europeans with actual news they were not reading in their local media?

There’s no secret how the overwhelming majority of European correspondents working in Washington get their news. They pick up The New York Times, The Washington Post and turn on CNN. Little wonder that their dispatches mirror the fake news that already dominates these once-great media organizations.

Imagine if those correspondents had to compete against a popular source of real news, especially if that source were called the Voice of America?

They might actually have to wear out some shoe leather. Talk to actual sources. Sing for their suppers. They might have to actually provide news to their audiences back home, not just the fake news and anti-American nonsense of the cultural elites.

The lack of accurate information about America in Europe would be comic if our European allies were not facing a dire extremist threat from political Islam, as well as a demographic time bomb from Muslim immigrants who seek to transform Europe, rather than assimilate to it.

The Voice of America can transform the image Europeans have of this country, and help them rediscover the values we hold in common.

Is that asking too much of U.S. taxpayer-funded journalists? I almost forgot: that’s just asking them to live up to the Voice of America charter.

The Other Europe

Robert Royal notes that the progressive future can’t be great since it doesn’t concern itself with the future of children and societies fertile enough to reproduce themselves.

Last week, when the leader of the free world was (depending on which sources you paid attention to) either destroying America’s carefully constructed system of international alliances or shaking up the policy establishment at home and abroad to deal with the new world environment, something equally consequential – and more fundamental – took place, almost unnoticed, in Hungary.

I’ve mentioned in passing several times in recent days that I spoke at the Eleventh World Congress for Families that has just finished in Budapest. But it’s difficult to convey what an inspiring and hopeful – and unexpected – event it was.

We almost never hear about it, mired as we are in our political obsessions, but there are thousands of family and marriage activists and organizations at work around the world. Most of them were present in Budapest last week. And most important of all, outside of Western Europe, North America, and their offshoots in places like Australia and New Zealand, countries are not at all following the absurd and suicidal trends on marriage and children that we (falsely) believe have gripped the whole world.

Hungary is a leading example in Europe itself. Prime Minister and former anti-Soviet dissident Viktor Orban has succeeded in starting to reverse the disastrous trends in marriage and births that Hungary, like Western Europe, had been showing for years. This has been the result partly of social commitment, partly of specific policies.

The 2011 Hungarian Constitution, the first one adopted since it regained freedom after the fall of the Soviet Union, states this:

Article L (1) Hungary shall protect the institution of marriage as the union of a man and a woman established by voluntary decision, and the family as the basis of the survival of the nation. Family ties shall be based on marriage and/or the relationship between parents and children. (2) Hungary shall encourage the commitment to have children.

That may seem an empty gesture given the dominant culture of our international elites, but ten years ago, Hungary had a marriage rate of around 3.6 per thousand, the same as Southern European countries like Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Now it’s nearly 4.75, and steadily climbing.

CNN — We don’t report the news, we fabricate it

Our reliable sources place 17-year old Donald J. Trump on the grassy knoll in Dallas on November 22nd, 1963 the day JFK was killed. Trump was seen speaking with a group of Russian cosmonauts and two Martians just before the fatal shots were fired.

See the recently released FBI image of the grassy knoll (right).

Congress is planning to appoint an unbiased special prosecutor, the Reverend Jesse Jackson, to investigate this report from unnamed sources close to John Podesta and Hillary Clinton.

Republican senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham and Democrat Charles “Our Man Chuck” Schumer have solidly verified this story in a nude seance utilizing Ouija board and the blood of two roosters.

In a related story, broken by The Washington Post and corroborated by the New York Times, Trump was seen running from Ford’s theater on the night President Lincoln was assassinated. Trump was reportedly accompanied by two Russian diplomats and the editor of National Lampoon magazine. An attempt was made to confirm this with John Wilkes Booth, but unfortunately CNN’s chief seance reporter was unable to fully confirm this report, but we ran it anyway. However, CNN’s chief seance reporter noted, “An unnamed spirit said to us that it’s Trump so it must be true.”

The totally unbiased FBI, deep state and Media Matters are investigating the Trump-Russia-Lincoln link. A joint statement released moments ago by the FBI and Media Matters included,

“We are leaving no stone upturned. We are currently combing through Mrs. Lincoln’s laptop and checking surveillance footage from the theater cameras that most of the public never knew existed, but we created…uh, discovered them. We ARE going to railroad Trump…I mean find the culprit through modern investigative techniques…”

Mr. Trump is also being mentioned in connection with the killing of Bambi’s mom, the expansion of global warming, and the sinking of the Titanic. These are ongoing investigations, as the evidence is still being manufactured by our news staff, which includes Al Gore, comedian Kathy Griffin, Monica Lewinsky and former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

Motive for Madness

Left-wing liberal leaders do not lack the intelligence to recognize the suicidal policies they are pursuing. They are deliberately facilitating the policies of cultural suicide to create the social chaos necessary to eliminate their nation states and globalize the world under one-world government That is the motive for their madness.

Their seemingly bizarre policies create an atmosphere of such anxiety and cognitive dissonance that people are overwhelmed and paralyzed trying to make sense of the nonsensical policies destroying their cultures. Most people simply cannot absorb the shock of leaders who are deliberately trying to destroy the sovereignty, borders, and national cultures of their own countries – it is madness. Most people have enormous difficulty accepting the fact that their left-wing leaders are purposely lying to them, distorting reality, and manipulating the news to disguise their destructive motives. Rather than face this intolerable truth people often withdraw into unreality and pretend it is not happening – they choose subjective reality to find some relief.

The problem is, of course, that subjective reality is not a safe place. As Ayn Rand famously pointed out, “You can deny reality but you cannot deny the consequences of denying reality.” The Islamists know they are waging war – they are in objective reality. The Globalists know they are waging war – they are in objective reality. It is the lying Islamic leadership practicing taqiyya and the lying left-wing leadership practicing their secular form of taqiyya who are trying to seduce the West into subjective reality where the citizenry can be exploited. Citizens who reject objective reality and accept the lies of their leaders have entered subjective reality where they can pretend that there is no war but cannot escape the consequences of their pretending. Denying reality is a flawed and losing strategy – it is a child’s response to fear. A child hides under the bed when the house is burning – an adult escapes to safety.

Subjective reality is a very dangerous place for fearful citizens to hide because the Islamists and the Globalists are exploiting their fear and humanity by deceiving them with the fiction that the mass immigration of a population with hostile cultural norms will somehow benefit them or that it is their humanitarian duty to accommodate their hostile norms.

We are at a critical time in world history now. The efforts to destroy American dominance launched after WWII have escalated to a tipping point.

Islamists and Leftists have common cause to destroy the West. Islamists seek to impose religious one-world government ruled by sharia law. Globalists seek to impose secular one-world government ruled by themselves. It is time to stop the hand wringing and embrace the fact that the Left is trying to destabilize and overthrow Donald Trump’s presidency to create the social chaos required for imposition of Globalism’s one-world government. It is also time to stop pretending that Islam is a peaceful religion like any other. Islam is a socio-political expansionist ideology with a religious wing, a military wing, and an educational wing all attempting to overthrow Western governments and replace them with supremacist sharia law. Terrorism is an Islamic tactic of war. Terrorist attacks in New York, London, Brussels, Nice, Syria, Orlando, Paris, Stockholm, Cologne, Malmo, Berlin, Manchester, and on and on and on are inspired and connected by Islamic ideology. There are no lone wolves. Responding to Islamic terrorism with flowers and songs is patently absurd. Responding to Islamic terrorism by pretending it is not driven by Islamic ideology is denying objective reality and making the choice to enter the fiction of subjective reality.

It is time for free people in every free country left on this earth to face facts and accept objective reality. There is a vicious war being fought by Islamists and Globalists with the help of the colluding mainstream media for world dominion that will impose either religious or secular totalitarian rule on the world if they are not defeated. The income equality and social justice promised by Globalists is as fictitious as the 72 virgins promised by Islam to jihadis – it is the candy offered to children by strangers that every adult in Western countries understands is the bait that lures its unsuspecting victims. The West must grow up and reject the candy. The West must reject subjective reality and learn to live in objective reality.

The totalitarian rule of Islamic states is a reality of modern life – there is no ambiguity regarding its strict and savage lifestyle. Every Middle Eastern country with the exception of Israel is bound by sharia law or is struggling for sharia law and its restrictive supremacist strictures.

The income equality and social justice promised by globalists is the big lie of the 21st century that is duping the useful idiots in the Western world. Globalism is not new – it was described unapologetically in chilling detail by Lord Bertrand Russell in his 1952 book The Impact of Science on Society. Far from providing income equality and social justice the one-world government of the New World Order (NWO) is a binary socio-political system of masters and slaves. There are no individual freedoms in one-world government, no middle class, no upward mobility, and no self-determination. The promises of income equality and social justice offered by lying left-wing politicians are no different than the candy offered by strangers to gullible children. Globalism is not the John Lennon song “Imagine.” Globalism is the sinister and insidious reality of a collectivist society where individuals are treated as children and property of the state. As Hillary Clinton famously said – we need a public who is unaware and compliant. Unaware and compliant are the hallmarks of childhood.

Hillary Clinton is a globalist. Barack Obama is a globalist. The six mega-corporations that own the media are all globalists. George Soros is a globalist. Angela Merkel is a globalist. Emmanuel Macron is a globalist. Theresa May is unsuccessfully trying to be both globalist and nationalist. The Leftist leaders of the European Union are globalists. The entire Globalist community is arrayed against President Donald Trump because he is the single greatest obstacle to one-world government on earth. President Donald Trump and his America first nationalism is the existential threat to one-world government. The Globalist disinformation campaign against him is unparalleled. The Islamists practice taqiyya – lying in the service of Islam. The lying Left practice the equivalent language of deceit – lying in the service of Globalism – in their end justifies the means complete disregard for truthfulness.

Unless people wish to live under the totalitarian governance of Globalism’s dystopian one-world rule or under Islam’s sharia law they had better rid themselves of their lying Leftist leaders and replace them with honest leaders committed to protecting their country’s democracy, sovereignty, borders, individual freedoms, constitutions, and national cultures.

The motive for their madness is one-world government. Totalitarianism by any other name whether it is religious or secular is still totalitarianism.

A Vision for a Truly American Health Care System

As Obamacare continues to reveal itself as an economic and policy disaster, it strikes me that in undoing this healthcare mess, we are not following the path forged for us by the Framers of the Constitution.

For them, the overarching, driving concern was the protection of the liberties of the nation’s citizens from the intrusions of an excessively powerful government. Translated to health care, this would mean protecting patients and their doctors from government interference in their most private and personal dealings.

The Framers accomplished this by creating a national government of only specific and enumerated powers and prohibited from directly regulating the actions of the American people. This latter authority was retained by the states, and specifically not given to the federal government.

So, under this strategy, what would the nation’s health care system look like?

In a truly American health care system, the responsibility for funding one’s medical care would fall squarely upon the treated individual. In cases where the cost of receiving treatment became excessive, the individual would be aided by his or her family, local churches, and community organizations dedicated to helping those who couldn’t help themselves.

More importantly, healthcare would be delivered in a society where God and worship played a central role in human interaction. And no, not because the government demanded it, but because the people spontaneously shared this unyielding resolve in a state where an environment encouraging public worship existed and the family was viewed as society’s foundational building block. It was a milieu where people were continuously reminded of their direct relationship with God and of His greatest commandment; that each person love God with all his might and that he love his neighbor as he does himself.

If the health care system needed to be more formalized so that hospitals and health care could be regulated or a risk-diverting network could be implemented, then such a structure would be generated and executed by the state, not by the federal government. In fact, if the Constitution were properly interpreted, the courts would hold that the federal government was prohibited from directing the states on creating, implementing, or administering a health care program, nor could it tax the people directly for the purpose of creating a health care insurance company.

Other than Dr. Benjamin Rush who voiced his concern for the potential of healthcare being used as a tool in support of a dictatorial regime, it is likely that the Founders gave little thought to the design of the new nation’s health care system. Not only was it orders beyond their primary concern of building a functional system of government, but they would have clearly maintained that such was not the role of the new federal government.

If asked, the Framers would have undoubtedly agreed that the solution to the nation’s health care challenges lied not in the acts of politicians, but in the moral compass provided to the People by their Creator and in the unyielding pledge that each and every person had instinctively made to his or her neighbor through his or her faith in God. It is within these concepts that the true solutions to our health care woes lie, not in the machinations conceived by politicians or bureaucrats.

Hopefully, we as a nation will recall and apply these self-evident truths before we irreparably tarnish our Great Experiment.

It Had to Be the Smirnoff

It was a good plan. After their thunderous loss in the presidential election, our country’s premier Olympian liars––Democrats all––put their heads together to develop a plan to accuse the newly elected president of collusion with our enemy, to get him impeached forthwith, and ultimately to preserve the communist/jihadist government that it took the previous eight years of formal power and a hundred years of planning to accomplish.

First, it was important for the orchestrator and financier of both the former regime and the current “resistance” movement to appear busy with other things, such as financing the travel arrangements of anarchists and thugs, and purchasing shiny new placards to be displayed at often-violent rallies around the country, all protesting the horrible things the newly elected president was doing:

  • Rounding up criminal aliens
  • Seating a conservative Supreme Court Justice
  • Reasserting American military supremacy
  • Sanctioning the murderous mullahs in Iran
  • Dropping the Mother Of All Bombs on ISIS targets in Afghanistan
  • Causing a precipitous rise in employment, et al.
  • Here’s a more extensive list.

Second, get the putative leader of the former, failed regime out of the country––preferably to an island that doesn’t honor U.S. extradition laws––the better to protect him from indictable crimes should the plan fail.

Third, develop the narrative––Trump’s collusion with Russia––and enlist the entire Democrat Party and 99 percent of the media to hammer relentlessly, 24-7, on this theme, omitting, of course, the fact that it would not require help from the Russians to win an election against the least attractive, least compelling, least accomplished, most corrupt Democrat candidate in decades.

FRUITS OF THEIR LABORS

It didn’t take long for some major revelations to emerge. First we learned—according to the peerless Clarice Feldman (read every word)—that President Trump’s campaign manager had failed to disclose the receipt of 75,000 shares of stock from a Kremlin-financed company—Joule Unlimited—for which he served as director from 2010 to 2014, and that his brother was a key lobbyist on behalf of Sberbank (of Russia), for which his firm received more than $24 million in fees in 2016.

Oh, my very very bad! It wasn’t Mr. Trump’s campaign manager, it was John Podesta, Ms. Hillary’s henchman, and his brother Tony, who raked in that windfall. “Podesta’s efforts were a key part of under-the-radar lobbying during the 2016 U.S. presidential campaign,” Feldman reports.

Next we learned that none other than Mr. Trump’s wife, Melania, received half-a-million dollars….for a speech she gave in Moscow, paid by a Russian firm, Renaissance Capital, which has ties to Russian intelligence. And what did the former model do with the money? She put it into one of her pet foundations.

Oops, I’m getting everything mixed up! It wasn’t Mr. Trump’s wife Melania but rather Hillary Clinton’s husband Bill who did that, and much more! For instance, he deposited millions of dollars into the Clinton Foundation that he also received from Uranium One, which was sold to the Russian government in 2010, giving Russia control of 20 percent of the uranium deposits in the U.S., a sale approved by Hillary Clinton’s State Department. And looky here! In March, Mr. Putin’s spokesman said that Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak met with members of Mrs. Clinton’s campaign several times while she was running for president in 2016, a fact the campaign never disclosed. No mystery that Kislyak sat so cozily with the Democrats during President Trump’s speech to the Congress in March.

The revelations continued, as we learned that one of Mr. Trump’s most trusted aides literally colluded with foreign spies to sabotage Hillary’s candidacy.

Sooo sorry. Once again, I’ve confused the players. Actually it was John Brennan—former supporter of the American Communist Party, inveterate Islamophiliac, and CIA director under Barack Obama—who, according to George Neumayr of the Spectator (read the entire article), “was the American progenitor of political espionage aimed at defeating Donald Trump. Brennan teamed up with British spies and Estonian spies to cripple Trump’s candidacy. He used their phony intelligence as a pretext for a multi-agency investigation into Trump, which led the FBI to probe a computer server connected to Trump Tower and gave cover to Susan Rice, among other Hillary supporters, to spy on Trump and his people.”

And then there was the slew of fishy missteps by a high-ranking member of the Trump Organization, who literally seemed to screw up everything he touched.

Silly silly me for confusing anyone in the Trump Organization with the feckless James Comey, recently defunct director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, who according to historian Victor Davis Hanson “de facto turned the FBI into investigator, prosecutor, judge, and jury in presenting damning evidence against Hillary Clinton, then nullifying it….”, confused Hillary’s criminal acts with her “intent” (not his role), whine[d] “in teenager fashion” at a Congressional hearing, “seem[ed] to think he could freely discuss the charges of Russian collusion, but not so transparently the far stronger evidence of unlawful unmasking of Americans caught up in (or in fact targeted by) government surveillance—apparently in understandable fear that the Democrats and media posed the greater danger to his career,” and was at the center of 10 major FBI scandals on his watch.

And who can forget how the top generals who president-elect Trump was interviewing for key jobs in his administration revealed the ability they had—and willingness to use that ability—to conduct extensive spying on any of the future Commander-in-Chief’s enemies?

OMG…how on earth could I have mistaken the personification of integrity with the very embodiment of dishonesty? Especially since now we know, thanks to Paul Sperry at the NY Post, citing Circa News, that during the election campaign, “the Obama Administration” (meaning Barack Obama) launched “a massive domestic-spy campaign that included snooping on Trump officials…routinely violating privacy protections…” that prompted the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court a month before the election to rebuke administration officials.” In addition, “a number of those searches were made from the White House, and included private citizens working for the Trump campaign, some of whose identities were leaked to the media.”

Did I forget to mention that one of candidate Trump’s most avid Republican supporters just happened to make a killing when he invested in a Russian company?

Kidding! That would actually be a malicious critic of both candidate and President Trump, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) who made $6 million in 2012 from Russian search engine and technology company Yandex.

Dr. J. Michael Waller, VP for Government Relations at the Center for Security Policy and an expert in defense, national security, and foreign policy, is all for the investigation of Russian involvement in American elections, and here spells out the deep involvement of Russia in Mr. Obama’s 2012 election, with prominent mention of key players like the Podesta brothers, Hillary, Thomas Pickering, Hunter Biden, and Viktor Pinchuk, as well as the sale of American uranium, et al.

Which brings me to this question: Who again is in bed with Russia?

THE “i” WORD

An essential part of the overwrought left’s narrative was urging its adherents to forget their aversion to any word beginning with “i”—an aversion they’ve harbored since the mortifying impeachment of Bill Clinton in 1998 on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice.

Instead, the plan was to harp on three other “i” words, specifically that Russia intervened, interfered, and influenced the 2016 presidential election, essentially rendering its result invalid.

Above all, they were clearly ordered to never ever explain, not the smallest detail, about how exactly the Russians did these things.

  • Did Russian moles hack into the voting machines all over the United States and change the Hillary votes to Trump votes?
  • Did thousands of Russian agents slip into our country through our open southern border, grab up 63-million Americans, and force them under penalty of never seeing their families again to vote against Hillary?
  • Did Russians secretly launder multimillions of dollars and funnel them into the Trump fundraisers’ accounts?
  • Did Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak show up at President Trump’s address to both houses of Congress and sit with the Democrats in order to apologize to them for failing to swing the election to Hillary?

By the way, why did this ostensibly impartial ambassador choose to sit with the Democrats that night? Was it to reassure them that he intended to lobby the Trump administration to let his country keep the 20 percent of American uranium that Hillary gave to Russia? You know, that heavy, toxic element which accelerates the development of nuclear weapons, the same types of weapons that Barack Obama and Hillary gave to bellicose, America-loathing Iran—leading state-sponsor of terrorism and Russia’s client state—in the disastrous Iran deal, along with $150 billion?

  • Did those devastatingly attractive Russian bureaucrats descend on voter precincts all over the country and ply their staffers with borscht and caviar to inspire them to violate their pledge to voter-fraud experts ACORN and instead not count the number of dead Democrat voters?
  • Did additional Russian agents slip into the polling booths in heavy Democrat districts and put them out of working order by saturating them with Smirnoff vodka?

Having exhausted their bogus questions, the swamp creatures have now moved on to President Trump’s son-in-law and trusted advisor, Jared Kushner, and his contacts with Russian sources before the inauguration. Critics seem most upset about the protocol here, i.e., that, apparently according to Emily Post, it’s “improper” to query important world players before the inauguration takes place.

Nothing will come of this desperate ploy, either.

According to James Freeman of The Wall St. Journal, “It’s been roughly 300 days since the FBI started investigating Moscow’s attempts to meddle in U.S. elections. So far the feds have come up dry in their search for evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.”

Yet, the fake news cable and network channels—CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS—are still being paid by their globalist bosses to harp ceaselessly on this failed effort, clearly in the hope that somehow, someway, someday, someone will come up with an irrefutable indictment and that the massive humiliation Democrats experienced from their shellacking at the polls and the repudiation of everything they believe in will be redeemed.

This fantasy should fit neatly with their other beliefs—in the virtue of Che Guevera and his ilk, the efficacy of socialized medicine, the validity of Sharia law, and let’s throw in the tooth fairy for good measure.

But all this is not to omit the real motive of the fanatical cabal conspiring to bring down President Donald J. Trump, which is to avoid the long arm of Attorney General Jeff Sessions in what may turn into the most explosive investigation in U.S. history regarding the rampant crime, corruption, and sedition of many if not most of the high-level players in the Obama regime.

That is what we’ve really been witnessing for the past year. And a warehouse full of Smirnoff will not make this blight go away!

Seth Rich: The DNC’s living dead nightmare

There is growing interest in the circumstances surrounding the death of Seth Rich, the 27-year-old Democratic National Committee employee who on July 10, 2016 was fatally shot in Bloomingdale, Washington, D.C.

On 16 May 2017, Fox News published an explosive report linking the death of murdered Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich to tens of thousands of e-mails allegedly found on his laptop computer. Fox reported that the e-mails were internal Democratic National Committee messages Rich transferred to Gavin McFayden, a now-deceased investigative journalist, who then sent them to the document-dumping web site WikiLeaks.

Fox News reported:

An FBI forensic report of Rich’s computer — generated within 96 hours after Rich’s murder — showed he made contact with WikiLeaks through Gavin MacFadyen, a now-deceased American investigative reporter, documentary filmmaker, and director of WikiLeaks who was living in London at the time, the federal source told Fox News.

“I have seen and read the emails between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks,” the federal investigator told Fox News, confirming the MacFadyen connection. He said the emails are in possession of the FBI, while the stalled case is in the hands of the Washington Police Department.

The revelation is consistent with the findings of Wheeler, whose private investigation firm was hired by a third party on behalf of Rich’s family to probe the case.

“My investigation up to this point shows there was some degree of email exchange between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks,” Wheeler said. “I do believe that the answers to who murdered Seth Rich sits on his computer on a shelf at the DC police or FBI headquarters.”

The federal investigator, who requested anonymity, said 44,053 emails and 17,761 attachments between Democratic National Committee leaders, spanning from January 2015 through late May 2016, were transferred from Rich to MacFadyen before May 21.

The media does not want to cover the Seth Rich story. Why?

The DNC narrative is that the Russians stole the election from Hillary Clinton. The DNC and media have pushed the idea that there was “collusion” between the Trump campaign and the Russians via WikiLeaks to destroy Hillary.

Former Democratic National Committee interim chairwoman Donna Brazile is the high-ranking DNC representative who allegedly called police and the family of murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich and demanded to know why a private investigator was “snooping” into Rich’s death, the private eye revealed to WND Monday.

“The high-ranking DNC official that called the police after I inquired about Rich’s case was Donna Brazile,” veteran homicide detective Rod Wheeler told WND. “Why shouldn’t I reveal who it was?”

Brazile, who was also a CNN contributor and a Hillary for America donor at the time, was caught providing Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton with questions that would later be asked of Clinton at a televised CNN town hall. In an interview with Fox News before the election, Brazile denied leaking the questions to Clinton. But in a March 17, 2017, column for Time magazine, she finally admitted doing so, saying it was a “mistake I will forever regret.”

A spokesman for the Rich family has repeatedly criticized detective Wheeler, who was hired by Rich’s family in March to find the DNC staffer’s murderer, for not ruling out the possibility that Rich may have leaked DNC emails to WikiLeaks. The Rich family recently sent Wheeler a “cease and desist” order to stop his investigation into the murder.

The Georgia Trump-resistance candidate Jon Ossoff is leading in the polls against Republican Karen Handel in the June 20th congressional special election. A Facebook patriot sister in Georgia gave me a heads up that guys wearing pink Planned Parenthood shirts were in her neighborhood putting Ossoff literature on doorknobs.

Losing every special election, Democrats are desperate to energize their fake America-regrets-electing-Trump narrative. Leftists continue to pour millions into the Georgia race, putting all their hate-Trump eggs into Ossoff’s basket. 

In typical Democrat bait-and-switch fashion, Ossoff is running as a moderate. In reality, Ossoff is an extreme far left radical, backed by off-beat anti-America groups from Occupy Wall Street to Black Lives Matter and numerous other counter-culture weirdo groups; rabidly obsessed with bringing down Trump.

Isn’t the whole idea of Democrats boldly launching a Trump-resistance movement pretty outrageous? Remember the media firestorm over Rush Limbaugh saying he hoped Obama’s agenda failed? Leftists practically demanded that Rush be removed from the air and crucified in the public square, stabbed through the heart with his golden EIB microphone. Rush was excoriated for being a traitor to his country.

And yet, fake news media is orchestrating and praising the Trump-resistance movement as on the moral high ground. These people on the Left who are consumed with out-of-control rage over Hillary losing the election do not give a rat’s derriere about their blatant hypocrisy.

Speaking of Hillary, she’s back! Hillary hit the airways spewing more anti-Trump bitterness to keep the flames of hate, rage and insanity burning in her minions. My fellow patriot Americans, we must remain extremely vigilant in our efforts to keep these Leftist wackos out of power. I still scratch my head, puzzled over what Leftists feel they must so passionately resist from Trump’s presidency.

Why is Trump proclaiming his desire to “make America great again” as repulsive to Leftists as showing Dracula the cross? If you are a Leftist, wouldn’t you still want your country, your homeland to be made great? These people are simply not right in the head folks.

The Left has gone totally insane. Cable news has become 24/7 destruction of Trump. It is as if nothing in the world matters other than removing Trump from office.

On Fox News, Bill Bennett noted how fake news media was far more outraged over the Montana Republican candidate tussling with a reporter than they were over the 22 people killed in the Manchester terrorist attack and 26 Coptic Christians murdered in Egypt. Fake news media’s passion and interest is only in events which further its Trump-must-be-removed narrative. Clearly, they have lost their minds, obsessed beyond reason.

A majority of Americans, 65%, believe the media publishes fake news. In a Montana store, I overheard an employee expressing her support of Trump to another employee. She said she believes nothing reported in the media.

Fake news media have thrown all pretense of being fair and balanced out the window. They are in full-court-press remove Trump mode. My bottom line is it is us against them, folks.

Why are the loudest proponents of ‘tolerance’ and ‘peace’ so frequently ugly, hateful people?

Not physically ugly, but ugly deep in their souls. Georgetown University professor Christine Fair happened upon neo-Nazi Richard Spencer, who is not me, at a gym and began berating him. The gym then revoked Richard Spencer’s membership. I have no regard for Richard Spencer, as often as I am confused with him (even in the comments at National Review on this piece, some clown says that the article should have highlighted Richard Spencer’s remarks on white nationalism, not his criticism of Islam; in reality, he is the one who writes about white nationalism, and I am the one who writes about Islam, and we are two completely different people): he has more than once demanded that I reveal my “real” name, as he is convinced that I am secretly a Jew who has changed my name to fool good white folks like him.

So while I have nothing but disgust for Richard Spencer, I have even greater disgust for Christine Fair, who in this incident showed herself to be more of a Nazi than Richard Spencer could ever hope to be. Like the Nazis, she wants those whom she hates destroyed, full stop. Just destroyed. She doesn’t want them to be able to speak in public. She doesn’t want them to be able to hold memberships in gyms. She doesn’t want them to be allowed to live in the city she lives in. She doesn’t want them to breathe. This is quintessentially Nazi behavior, and is in direct contradiction to the principles that make a society free.

While Richard Spencer is indeed a Nazi, albeit in a different way from how Fair is one, and there is no excuse for that, as long as he is not breaking any laws he has as much right to be in that gym as Christine Fair has. But not as far as Christine Fair is concerned. She has apparently not reflected upon the precedent she is setting, or on the possibility, as remote as it is, that one day her views could be out of favor, and she could find herself getting poisoned, and forbidden to speak, and screamed at by campus fascists, and driven out of gyms, and the like, and that a healthier and freer society allows for the freedom of expression and doesn’t persecute or hound those whose ideas are unpopular or even unarguably obnoxious.

National Review writer Jeremy Carl brings me into this because I have been on the receiving end of Fair’s wrath before, and have found her to be a shockingly rude, unkind, angry, and remarkably unpleasant individual — all while she preens as an exponent of “tolerance” and “peace.” Carl is a bit hasty, in my view, to accept the claims of my critics without evaluating those claims or my work on their merits, but his anxiousness to distance himself from me is perhaps understandable in a piece that appears in the publication that Ann Coulter so famously observed years ago was run by “girly men.”

I would happily debate Jeremy Carl, or Christine Fair, or any serious analyst on the nature of Islam or any of the assertions I have made in my work, and I am confident that the claims about my work that Carl so readily embraces here would, in that event, be proven false. It’s certain, however, that neither Carl nor Fair will agree to debate me, and so that is that. Whatever the undeniable flaws of Carl’s piece, he is dead-on about the Left’s increasing authoritarianism and thuggery. Mark my words: I won’t be the last enemy of the Left that Leftists will try to kill.

Addendum: I just noticed that in her hate screed against Richard Spencer in the Washington Post, Christine Fair cites as factual the thoroughly discredited study claiming that “right-wing extremists” pose a greater threat than Islamic jihadists. This is what an academic is today: not a thinking individual, but a propagandist for the hard-Left.

…Let’s stipulate that Richard Spencer is a man who has embraced values that are anathema to America’s, and that his vision is quite obviously not one that conservatives or Republicans share. But Fair publicly claims that Spencer’s very presence in the gym, because of his political views, creates an oppressive environment, which is a much more dramatic and potentially dangerous claim. If you are still cheering on Professor Fair, consider the case of another Spencer — Robert Spencer (no relation to Richard), a persistent critic of political Islam and a favorite of Steve Bannon and other figures in the Trump administration.After he spoke to a large audience last week in Reykjavik, Iceland, a leftist approached him as he was dining with companions and managed to slip a combination of MDMA (“Ecstasy”) and Ritalin into his drink, causing him to become ill to the point that he was hospitalized. Fortunately, police seem to have identified the perpetrator. But despite Spencer’s relative prominence and the dramatic nature of the crime, this political poisoning attracted almost no attention from the mainstream media.

As Spencer put it ruefully, “The lesson I learned was that media demonization of those who dissent from the leftist line is a direct incitement to violence. By portraying me and others who raise legitimate questions about jihad terror and Sharia oppression as racist, bigoted ‘Islamophobes’ without allowing us a fair hearing, they paint a huge target on the backs of those who dare to dissent.”

Spencer, the author of two New York Times bestsellers on radical Islam, is certainly controversial — and has his fair share of critics even on the right. But one should be able to be controversial without being poisoned. In the wake of the bombings in Manchester, are critics of political Islam really the people who should be beyond the pale of civil discourse?

hat does all this have to do with Professor Fair? Well, it turns out that Robert Spencer too has had his share of run-ins with Professor Fair, who according to Spencer called him a “lunatic” and likened him to Charles Manson while “refusing (of course) to debate me on questions of substance.” Robert Spencer says he has never met Fair in person, which has not saved him from being a repeated target of Fair’s ire.

Very well, you may say, but Spencer’s harsh and cherry-picked criticism of Islam may have stirred up legitimate anger — there’s no reason to defend him.

Well, how about Asra Nomani, a liberal Muslim immigrant woman, former Wall Street Journal reporter, and Georgetown professor who committed the mortal sin (to Christine Fair) of voting for Donald Trump and then writing a piece in the Washington Post explaining her decision. In response, she was brutally harassed by Professor Fair on Twitter for the better part of a month. As Nomani subsequently wrote to Georgetown in a formal complaint against Fair: “Prof. Fair has directed hateful, vulgar and disrespectful messages to me, including the allegations that I am: a ‘fraud’; ‘fame-mongering clown show’; and a ‘bevkuf,’ or ‘idiot,’ in my native Urdu, who has ‘pimped herself out’ . . . this last allegation amounts to ‘slut-shaming.’”

But while a quick perusal of Fair’s public statements reveals her to be an extreme case, a virtual parody of liberal intolerance, she is hardly the only liberal behaving badly. In just the past year, many conservatives, libertarians, and other assorted right-wingers, from Ann Coulter to Charles Murray to Heather Mac Donald to Milo Yiannopoulos to Ben Shapiro, have been shouted down and prevented, often by violence, from sharing their views, most often on America’s campuses. And so far, almost without exception, those universities have declined to give any significant punishment to the perpetrators. It is all well and good for conservatives to point out that there is a yawning gap between the Richard Spencers of the world and the Charles Murrays and Heather Mac Donalds. But for the Christine Fairs of the world — and an increasing number of her ideological soulmates on the left — they are all the same. None should have the right to speak — and increasingly, they are not even free to lead private lives free of harassment and threats. All of the people named above have been called “Nazis,” “white supremacists,” and similar epithets. If the Right, through silence, decides it’s okay to harass or physically attack Richard Spencer because he is a “Nazi” (a video clip of an Antifa member sucker-punching Spencer has become a favorite Internet meme on the left), they should not expect that the punchers will stop at Richard Spencer — or Robert Spencer, or even Asra Nomani. If we won’t fight for the free speech of those who anger the Left, no matter how distasteful we find their views, because we are afraid that the Left will wrongly ascribe their views to us, then conservatives are little more than feeding red meat to the ravenous left-wing lion in vain hopes that they will be the last ones eaten. And the lion is getting stronger and hungrier.

In his comments on Fair, written long before his poisoning incident, Robert Spencer wondered, “Why are the loudest proponents of ‘tolerance’ and ‘peace’ so frequently ugly, hateful people?” It’s a question the Left doesn’t want to answer — and too many on the right, afraid of being labeled as bigots by the most intolerant voices on the left, are scared to even ask.

Joining him was Hillary Clinton, also a globalist student of Saul Alinsky, but greedy crooked Hillary’s motives were monetary – she and Bill enriched themselves enormously during her tenure as secretary of state with her pay-to-play sale of influence, the Clinton Foundation, and with their obscene money laundering pay-to-payoff speaking fees.

Barack Obama was the most lawless president in US history – his stunning executive overreach was rivaled only by his greater crime of corrupting the impartiality of the US government by politicizing its agencies and using them to advance his personal political goals to weaken America. Obama also seeded his administration with left-wing liberal operatives determined to help him “transform” America. His lawless administration embraced an “ends justifies the means” philosophy that is the infrastructure of tyranny.

To stop the investigation into their crimes the Trump’s presidency is being deliberately stalled by activist judges in the courts and hysterical calls for his impeachment. The globalist elites simply cannot allow their most potent weapon, Barack Hussein Obama, to be exposed for the criminal that he is because then he would be immobilized and unable to lead their phony “resistance” movement to overthrow the government. Bringing down constitutionally elected President Donald Trump brings down America because it delegitimizes our constitutional elections – it is anarchy.

President Donald Trump is the symbol of American sovereignty and America-first policies – the greatest obstacle to one-world government. Trump is peeling back the multiple layers of Obama’s lawless anti-American presidency. The coordinated effort to destroy Donald Trump is a giant cover-up to protect the secrets of Obama’s criminal administration. The globalist elite are desperate to stop Trump because if Obama is exposed it leaves them without their popular prime puppet to continue marching America toward anarchy and social chaos.

The clock is ticking. On Twitter, a Muslim has tried to say that the Pope demanded that they be veiled, unlike King Salman. This is of course inaccurate, and anyone who follows Pope Francis knows that he has instead relaxed the protocol – for example, he has refrained from wearing traditional red shoes.

When Melania Trump recited The Lord’s Prayer before a Melbourne, Florida presidential rally in February, the Internet went hog wild.

Now we know one reason why the first lady began with ‘Let us pray’ and ‘Our Father who art in heaven’ when she introduced the president that evening: She’s a practicing Roman Catholic.

Her spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham confirmed that to DailyMail.com on Wednesday, hours after Pope Francis blessed a rosary for her at the Vatican.

The last Catholics to live in the White House were John F. Kennedy and his wife Jackie. Melania and her son Barron will move to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue over the summer.

Mrs. Trump did more than just show up for a Papal audience.

She spent time in prayer at the Vatican-affiliated Bambino Gesù (Baby Jesus) Hospital, and laid flowers at the feet of a statue of the Madonna.

Respect and submission cannot coexist. Respect is the enemy of submission. As Malcolm X said, “I have more respect for a man who lets me know where he stands, even if he’s wrong, than the one who comes up like an angel and is nothing but a devil.”

These two women showed, by the subtleness of their dress, what it means to respect one another. They showed their freedom and liberty to address as they wish, as their faith tells them to dress.

The core issue facing women in the world is the ongoing struggle between respect and submission. Women deserve respect. The First Lady and First Daughter are fighting for respect for all women.

Brooks’ Firing Shows that the NAACP Doesn’t Have a Clue

Once again the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) has proven why it is the Hillary Clinton of the Civil Rights Movement.

The NAACP used to be a storied organization, that was a major player in the historic fight for full equality for Blacks in America; that was before they got bought out by the Democratic Party in the early 1970s; before they bowed downed to the alter of the homosexual community; and before they sold themselves to the likes of radical liberal, George Soros and his open borders crowd who believe everyone has a right to be in the U.S., whether legally or illegally.

The equality that the NAACP once sought was not predicated on some “special” rights or entitlements that some groups wanted the courts to create out of thin air (gay rights). The NAACP and Blacks wanted the rights that the U.S. Constitution already said we were entitled to. In other words, the NAACP simply wanted the government to enforce the laws on the books, not create new ones.

Like Clinton, the NAACP can never seem to bring itself to accept responsibility for any of their own actions; and the plight of the Black community can always be blamed on others.

This Clintonian tick led them last Friday to fire their latest president and CEO, Cornell William Brooks.

Brooks should have never been hired for this post; the national board selected him three years ago, because they wanted someone that was easy to control.

Brooks was a horrible speaker and wasn’t as charismatic as some of their past leaders, but he was easily controlled.

Since the 1970s, the NAACP has only had two heads, who made any difference in America and the organization; those two people were Benjamin Hooks and Bruce Gordon.

Hooks was an icon of the Civil Rights Movement and a staunch Republican. Richard Nixon appointed him to serve on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the early seventies. He was the first Black to ever serve on this commission and is singularly responsible for the diversity in media ownership that we see today. Without Hooks, networks like BET and TV One never would have existed.

But somehow, the NAACP rarely mentions Hooks’ Republican ties in any of the group’s written literature, but I digress.

Maybe Hook’s speech at the NAACP’s 1990 convention is why they sanitized his Republican linage.

During the speech, Hooks said that,

“It’s time today… to bring it out of the closet: No longer can we proffer polite, explicable, reasons why Black America cannot do more for itself…I’m calling for a moratorium on excuses. I challenge black America today—all of us—to set aside our alibis.”

Ouch!

Bruce Gordon came from a family with deeps roots in the Civil Rights Movement, but he chose to make his mark on America by working his way up the ladder in corporate America. He became a high-ranking executive with telecom giant Verizon.

So, his appointment to lead the NAACP in 2005 shocked everyone, because they typically hired preachers or politicians. President George W. Bush had rightfully ignored the group and refused to attend their national convention until Gordon came on board. Gordon’s business background helped him to navigate the political battlefield and he was able to build a personal relationship with President Bush, to the dismay of his group’s board.

This friction led to his abrupt resignation in 2007. Gordon stated: “I did not step into the role to be a caretaker, to be dictated to…I stepped into the role to understand as best I could the needs of the African American community and then to propose strategies and policies and programs and practices that could improve conditions for African Americans…The things I had in mind were not consistent with what some—unfortunately, too many—on the board had in mind.”

The national board of the NAACP demands undying fealty and they love to micromanage their presidents; any attemps to cut their puppet strings and you become useless to them. God forbid a president makes a decision on his own or attempts to make the group more relevant to the 21st century.

I know many of their leaders from across the country and the tragedy is that most of them don’t even believe in the issues the national board has made a priority. Publically, many state NAACP leaders say one thing and privately they believe another.

How can the NAACP claim to represent the Black community when they are out of sync with what the Black community believes and wants?

Black community is very conservative. Blacks don’t support amnesty for illegals. Blacks are the largest voting block that supports school choice and vouchers! This, despite the NAACP passing a resolution last year at their national convention opposing school choice. And they wonder why they are no longer relevant to the Black community?

I dare the NAACP national board to choose someone like Condoleezza Rice, Shannon Reeves, or Jennifer Carroll as their next leader; if they are truly interested in regaining relevancy, that’s exactly what they’ll do.

Unfortunately, the NAACP national board is totally incapable of thinking outside the box or giving up control. The NAACP has become the retirement village for the Black bourgeoisie.

Trump sells Vatican to Pope Francis for 2.5 million

The world’s best known dealmaker-turned-president showed that when it comes to real estate, nobody out-negotiates the Trumpster.

The president met briefly with Pope Francis, whom Trump described as a “…very, very nice man. Very hospitable,” before agreeing on a price for the Vatican.

Subjects discussed by the two leaders included the environment, world peace, religious tolerance, and property values.

“After a little going back and forth, I finally asked His Holiness what he wanted for the Vatican. He made an offer, but you know how deals are, he started low and I started high,” Trump told the accredited media shortly afterwards.

“At one point, I said, ‘Look, I know you work hard and don’t have a lot of money, so I’m willing to include the Sistine Chapel.’ Well that brought him around and we settled on 2.5 million. Not a bad deal at all. And that chapel, it was painted by a very, very talented artist. I told Ivanka, ‘Hey, find this Michelangelo guy and have him do the White House.’ You know, Melania thinks the place needs a makeover, and I think she’s right,” the president said.

“I couldn’t be happier,” said a delighted Pope Francis. “All my predecessors were only exalted guests here, but now I own the place. Not bad for a poor kid from Argentina who used to work as a bouncer.”

The pope also hinted that he may revise his views of capitalism. “This was an eye-opener for me. If we allow people to profit from their labors, maybe together we can make the Vatican great again.”

The two men shook hands on the deal and fielded questions from reporters about how the recent efforts at reconciliation between the Catholic and Orthodox faiths might have influenced the outcome of last year’s election.

Who shares responsibility for the Suicide Bombing at the Manchester Arena?

The emerging profile of 22 year  Salman Abedi, the home grown  suicide bomber or shahid (martyr) who perpetrated the Manchester Arena massacre, whose family were Libyan refugees, raises questions about the political future of UK Prime Minister Theresa  May in the looming June 10, snap elections called over the Brexit impasse.  Abedi was claimed by ISIS as one of their own, “a solider of the Caliphate.”  With arrests of four suspects, following the Manchester Arena massacre, police are now saying “we may be dealing with a network.”  The Manchester Arena attack triggered UK PM May ordering the deployment of thousands of soldiers to prevent an imminent attack after raising the threat level to the highest level, “critical.”

In the wake of the dastardly Manchester Arena bombing that killed 22 people, especially young girls, injuring 59, many with life threatening wounds, questions abound about the policies May implemented as former UK Home Minister. May had been the long term Home Minister in the former Cameron Conservative governments. Her track record on lax immigration controls and surveillance of radical Muslim communities ironically may have contributed to the massive  terror explosion at 10:30 PM at the close of U.S. pop star Ariane Grande’s concert that shredded the lives of those killed and injured with  a bomb loaded with deadly shrapnel of nuts and bolts.

Here’s what we know about Abedi, the perpetrator of this heinous attack on the 20,000 attendees at Ms. Grande’s Manchester Arena concert. Police obtained a photo ID card from his remains identifying him as the suspected bomber. They stormed his residence in South Manchester seeking information about both him and possible jihadist network connections. He was born in the UK to Libyan refugee parents who lived in a tight émigré community.  He prayed at a Mosque with known Al Qaeda connections to the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group. A number of worshipers who left to join ISIS as foreign fighters.

Abedi had made numerous trips to Libya following the fall of the Gadaffi regime and may have received training in bomb making with powerful ingredients. His travels to and from Libya must have put him on the Mi-5 watch list. Abedi had enrolled at a local university studying business management. He appears to have enrolled for the 2016 academic year but not attended classes. More concerning was he had outward vestiges of becoming radical such as wearing a long Islamic Islamic gabilla gown, Kufi skull cap and growing a beard.

Note what this UK Telegraph article revealed, “Everything we know about Salman Abedi, named as the Manchester suicide bomber:”

Salman Abedi, 22, who was reportedly known to the security services, is thought to have returned from Libya as recently as this week.

A school friend told The Times: “He went to Libya three weeks ago and came back recently, like days ago.”

He had become radicalized recently – it is not entirely clear when – and had worshipped at a local mosque that has, in the past, been accused of fundraising for jihadists.

Abedi’s older brother Ismail had been a tutor at Didsbury mosque’s Koran school. The imam last night said that Salman Abedi, who wore Islamic dress, had shown him “the face of hate” when he gave a talk warning on the dangers of so-called Islamic State.

His mother, Samia Tabbal, 50, and father, Ramadan Abedi, a security officer, were both born in Tripoli but appear to have emigrated to London before moving to the Whalley Range area of south Manchester where they have lived for at least a decade.

Abedi went to school locally and then on to Salford University in 2014 where he studied business management before dropping out. His trips to Libya, where it is thought his parents returned in 2011 following Gaddafi’s overthrow, are now subject to scrutiny including links to jihadists.

A group of Gaddafi dissidents, who were members of the outlawed Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), lived within close proximity to Abedi in Whalley Range.

Among them was Abd al-Baset Azzouz, a father-of-four from Manchester, who left Britain to run a terrorist network in Libya overseen by Ayman al-Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden’s successor as leader of al-Qaeda.

Azzouz, 48, an expert bomb-maker, was accused of running an al-Qaeda network in eastern Libya. The Telegraph reported in 2014 that Azzouz had 200 to 300 militants under his control and was an expert in bomb-making.

Another member of the Libyan community in Manchester, Salah Aboaoba told Channel 4 news in 2011 that he had been fund raising for LIFG while in the city. Aboaoba had claimed he had raised funds at Didsbury mosque, the same mosque attended by Abedi. The mosque at the time vehemently denied the claim. “This is the first time I’ve heard of the LIFG. I do not know Salah,” a mosque spokesman said at the time.

At the Abedi family home in Elsmore Road, a non-descript red-brick terrace, neighbors told how Abedi had become increasingly devout and withdrawn.

Lina Ahmed, 21, said: “They are a Libyan family and they have been acting strangely. A couple of months ago he [Salman] was chanting the first kalma [Islamic prayer] really loudly in the street. He was chanting in Arabic.

“He was saying ‘There is only one God and the prophet Mohammed is his messenger’.’

A family friend, who described the Abedis as “very religious”, said most of the family had returned to Libya, leaving only Salman and his older brother Ismail behind.

As to why UK PM Theresa May is partly to blame for the lax surveillance of radicals like suicide bomber Abedi, we turn to a UK Spectator article in July 2016 by Jonathan Foreman about May’s track record as Home Secretary under former Conservative PM David Cameron, “Theresa May’s record as Home Secretary is alarming, not reassuring.”

Foreman wrote:

Despite her carefully fostered reputation for toughness, Mrs. May’s record on extremism is perhaps the least impressive aspect of her checkered tenure at the Home Office. Any public official who seriously addresses radicalization, ghettoization and extremism risks being labeled an Islamophobe or worse. It takes a brave politician, one more committed to doing the right thing than to securing a glorious political future, to take on this hornets’ nest; Mrs. May was not such a politician. This began to be clear during the Trojan Horse affair, when official reluctance to confront radicalization in Birmingham schools prompted a concerned Education Secretary to venture onto the Home Secretary’s turf. (Her characteristic fury at this trespass was damaging to both departments at the time, and may well wreak havoc into the new government. Certainly her firing of Michael Gove’s as Justice Minister, despite the fact that his incomplete prison reforms have been universally lauded, looks like a destructive act of petty vengeance and personal spite.)

It became more apparent when Mrs. May, having delivered some appropriate sound-bites, avoided potential career-inhibiting controversy by ensuring that the Home Office’s efforts to deal with tricky issues like female genital mutilation, honor killings and forced marriage remained as low key – and low impact – as possible. But it is even more obvious in the investigation Mrs. May eventually set up into whether Britain’s Sharia courts, some legal, some not, might possibly discriminate against women in matters of divorce, domestic violence and child custody, as a result of a ‘misuse’ of Sharia teaching. (In the past the Home Secretary has implicitly claimed a surprising intimacy with Islamic law and political thought, asserting in 2014 that the actions of Isis ‘have absolutely no basis in anything written in the Koran.’)

Then there was the cynical political correctness. Mrs. May talked about coming down hard on hate crimes and lambasted the police about a lack of diversity. May has also done little to reverse various policing trends that have alienated the public from the police, including the abandonment of neighborhood policing, the substitution of decoy-like PCSOs and CCTV for beat patrols, and the massaging of crime statistics, At the same time Mrs. May has given the nod to massive, transformative budget cuts that may genuinely make Britain’s police forces unfit for purpose.

As the then shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper pointed out, three years after May took over the ministry, the number of people refused entry had dropped by 50 per cent, the backlog of finding failed asylum seekers had gone up, the number of foreign prisoners removed had gone down, and the number of illegal immigrants deported had also gone down. Tens of thousands of international students kicked out of the country by the Home Office – in a panicked response to a TV documentary about a test cheating scam – then turned out to have been wrongly deported.

UK PM Theresa May’s track record as Home Secretary may now been thrust into the public limelight as a result of the Manchester Arena massacre by  UK born  Jihadist, the late Salman Abedi.  The prior neglect by Mi-5 and UK security services monitoring jihadists in the country’s midst may impact on the looming snap election originally called to empower her to resolve the Brexit impasse. With her raising  the terror threat to its highest level in the UK following the Manchester Arena attack, perhaps Conservative backbenchers might question her policies and performance.
