Why Democrats are conspiring with the Russians to discredit President Trump

The Democrats keep yelling “the Russians are coming, the Russians are coming.” Why?

There have been many theories about the sudden interest on any and all connections between President Trump and his cabinet with the Russians by Democrats. Among these are: the Russians hacked the election, the Russians stole the election from Hillary Clinton, any contact with any Russian official or surrogate is grounds for dismissal or even impeachment.

Perhaps we should look back at what the Obama administration did to appease, if not become a surrogate for, Russia:

  1. Obama abandoned the missile defense system in Europe shelving deployment of U.S. missiles in Poland and the Czech Republic, citing new intelligence that the missile threat from Iran was minimal. Victory: Russia and Iran.
  2. Obama called for a “reset” of Russian/U.S. relations. On 6 March 2009 in Geneva, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton presented Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov with a red button with the English word “reset” and the Roman alphabet transliteration of the Russian Cyrillic alphabet word перегрузка (“peregruzka”.) Victory: Russia and Iran.
  3. Obama tells Russian President Dmitry Medvedev more flexibility after the 2012 election. Obama stated that Vladimir Putin should give him more “space” and that “[a]fter my election I have more flexibility.” Victory: Russia, Iran, Syria
  4. Obama’s “red line” in Syria if Assad used chemical weapons. Red line policy ignored when Assad uses chemical weapons a second time. Victory: Russia and Syria.
  5. Finally, Obama’s deal with Iran on development of nuclear weapons. Victory: Iran, Russia and ISIS.

Democrats consider Obama’s Iran deal his signature foreign policy success. Here are Obama’s remarks on the Iran deal:

Obama’s foreign policy has emboldened Russia as the key force in the Middle East and at the same time given Iran the cover it needs to continue its nuclear program. Iran is now the hegemonic power in the Middle East, with the help of Russia, and is training and exporting radical Islamists to do its bidding globally.

As former Defense Secretary William S. Cohen said July 28, 2009, after the latest of six trips to the Gulf in the last 18 months, that “what I hear is, there is greater fear of Iran than there is animus toward Israel.” He added, “So that is almost a predominant sentiment that I’ve noticed throughout most, if not all, of the Gulf states” (Washington Times, July 29, 2009).

pelosi schumer putinThis is the reason that Democrats have tried to tie President Trump’s hands when it comes to Russia.

For if President Trump and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson are successful in engaging Russia in the fight against ISIS and if President Trump can decouple Russia from Iran then the Obama foreign policy legacy will be gone. The Iran deal will be no more. Iran will be de-fanged and will not be the threat that it currently is to its Gulf state neighbors such as Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, the United Arab Emirates and Israel.

Democrats working with the Russians are doing everything they can to put President Trump into a box when it comes to negotiating with Russia. That is good for Russia, Iran and Syria’s Assad.

Democrats want America to be weak in its foreign policy and weak even before President Trump meets with Russian President Putin.

The Democrats, along with Republican Senators John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio are hurting President Trump’s foreign policy initiatives in the Middle East and with Russia. That is the goal.

That is why the Democrats, and perhaps the “Axis of Evil” Republican Senators McCain, Graham and Rubio, are in effect conspiring with the Russians.

ACT for America: Strike Three, You’re Out!

This is my final report on ACT and Brigitte Gabriel. The 2030 hours conference on 1 Mar 2017 call with Brigitte at the helm was basically about me and how I have been exposing her faults (as told to me by numerous ACT Chapter leaders). Again I offered Brigitte or J. Craig to contact me and discuss issues before I published this piece but again no comment.

Per the ACT Chapter leaders:

  1. There were only about 50 chapter leaders on the call hosted by Brigitte out of an alleged 1000 chapter leaders (hum…) Either they don’t care or there are way fewer chapter leaders than reported.
  2. Brigitte strongly stated “Islam is dangerous and evil and she has never said Islam is peaceful and been hijacked. I strongly ask readers to find anywhere in which Brigitte call the whole of Islam evil.
  3.  Brigitte said the mosques in America are breeding grounds for terrorists and used my project ‘Mapping Sharia’ that revealed over 70% have violent materials and dangerous.
  4.  Brigitte kept saying she knew enemies of ACT are recording her call to the chapter leaders. I say so what, just give the honest truth about the message that ACT is putting out and then repeat it in public. Why not Brigitte?
  5.  Many of the chapter leaders were upset that Roy White was fired and Brigitte he would never be reinstated. I bet next conference call will have even less than 50.

Brigitte, I love you girl and have always respected you because I thought you informed everyone how Islam is a disease and cancer, then I find out it is all hot air. I challenge you to publicly tell the world that Islam the ideology is like a cancer, is evil and is dangerous. Also state that over 70% of mosques in America (of the 3000) are breeding grounds for terrorists as you stated on the conference call. My dear Brigitte you can have it both ways. Either Islam is satanic, evil, and dangerous and Americas number one enemy or as you say it is a religion of peace and has been hijacked. Which one? We all want to know.

Brigitte please clear up the following. Tell us why the American public especially your chapter leaders should pay for your Hollywood lifestyle. A very trusted friend provided the below information.

  • Gabriel lives in a $3 million, 10,000 sq ft home in Virginia Beach. The house was paid for on the backs of the grassroots donors.
  • Guy Rogers her former Executive Director went to attorney Greg Bergethon and complained that Brigitte was taking too much cash out of the organization for personal purposes  – e.g. for the mansion, and she was paying off her ex-husband.

Trump’s Speech Exposes the Sickness of the Democrat Party

While piddling around in my work shop, I heard this sound bite on the radio of Trump talking about his upcoming speech to congress that evening.

President Trump said, “All I can do is speak from the heart and say what I want to do.” I thought, “Wow, what a concept.” Involved as an activist in the business of politics since 2008, I can tell you that Trump has been a laughing stock in the political arena ever since he announced he was running for the presidency.

Look at this clown. He doesn’t behavior like a politician. He doesn’t even know how to speak like a professional politician. No, Trump is just a guy who does not talk down to us and does not ramble on and on with a bunch of intellectual sounding crap. In the black hood where I come from, we called it jive. Obama was a masterful jive talker.

Folks, I relate to Trump because I do not know how to sound smart the way liberals do while advocating insane, evil and ungodly nonsense. My dad is a preacher. My late mom was a domestic worker. They taught all five of their kids to trust God, be responsible, hard work and always try to do the right thing. Thus, I do not know how to sound like a politician. My instincts are to look people in the eye, speak from the heart and tell the truth.

Trump’s down to earth, straight talk nature is exactly why 60 something million Americans have bonded with him. Meanwhile, political snobs and fake news media still do not get it. The political establishment, Obama’s army of domestic terrorists and fake news media will continue using their standard tried and true tactics to destroy Trump. They will fail.

Watching Trump address Congress, it struck me, “Oh my gosh, every common sense thing Trump says he intends to do beneficial to America is vehemently opposed by the democrats.” What on earth has happened to my dad’s Democrat Party? My fellow Americans, our greatest threat is not ISIS. It is the Democrat Party.

Here are just a few Trump putting America first promises that have enraged democrats, launching a scorched earth policy to stop him.

A new national pride is sweeping across our nation.” Democrat controlled public schools have been teaching our kids that patriotism is racist.

All the nations of the world—friend or foe—will find that America is strong, America is proud, and America is free.” Remember Obama touring the world apologizing for our greatness?

We’ve financed and built one global project after another, but ignored the fates of our children in the inner cities of Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit—and so many other places throughout our land.” As an American who happens to be black, it baffled me for years why black democrats seemed content with cities they control like Chicago, Baltimore and Detroit becoming hellholes of black poverty and black on black crime. Then, it dawned on me. Democrat blacks are not black. They are first and foremost liberals who seek power via government control and dependency.

We’ve defended the borders of other nations, while leaving our own borders wide open, for anyone to cross—and for drugs to pour in at a now unprecedented rate.” Democrats believe America is too white. They want open borders to attract future democrat voters of color.

Our military will be given the resources its brave warriors so richly deserve.” The Democrat Party leadership are old hippies, flower children who hate our military and guns.

We have begun to drain the swamp of government corruption by imposing a 5 year ban on lobbying by executive branch officials –- and a lifetime ban on becoming lobbyists for a foreign government.” Folks, taking the power away from the DC cartel and giving it back to We the People as our Founders intended has Trump atop the excrement list of both political parties.

We have withdrawn the United States from the job-killing Trans-Pacific Partnership.” Democrats hate this. Who do we think we are?

…my Administration has answered the pleas of the American people for immigration enforcement and border security. By finally enforcing our immigration laws, we will raise wages, help the unemployed, save billions of dollars, and make our communities safer for everyone. We want all Americans to succeed –- but that can’t happen in an environment of lawless chaos. We must restore integrity and the rule of law to our borders.”Folks, democrats say screw the law, screw jobs and screw national security. They want as many unskilled government dependent illegals flooding across our borders as possible. Obama spent a whopping $113 billion, $1,117 each, settling illegals into our country, priming them to become democrat voters.

We’ve heard much about Trump’s narcissism. Call me crazy because I don’t see that when I watch and hear him speak. I see a man aware and humbled by the job placed upon his shoulders, committed to getting it done; committed to keeping his campaign promises; committed to making America great again.

‘Drain the Swamp’ Promise Drives Establishment Panic

I’m consistently asked this question by bewildered Republicans and Trump supporters: Why won’t Democrats give President Trump a chance? He was duly elected and yet the attacks began immediately. Why? There was an election and Trump won. Give him a chance.

It’s a reasonable question. And the answer is the perfect confluence of dynamics propelling this phenomena of immediate and historically intense opposition.

First, we need to understand that the response by Democrats, the media and the reactionary, organized and funded street Left, needs to be seen through the prism of why Trump was elected in the first place.

Trump’s campaign and election is a repudiation in every conceivable way of Obama’s policies, many of Bush’s policies and Congress’ game-playing. Many Americans did mediocre under Bush, and most did poorly under Obama. The reasons for which are a different topic, but they fall under the broadest umbrella of “The way Washington does things.” And the way Washington does things is to put Washington interests first. Not Americans’.

Trump tapped into those frustrations and angers at Washington, and into substantial American anxiety over the country’s direction and slow demise. The anger of Trump supporters was largely not race-based. Not immigrant-based. Obviously not gender-based.

It was Washington-based.

The swamp today

Washington is a well-oiled machine — for Washington interests.

The power structure within Washington — the most important, wealthy and powerful capitol in the world — is this: Politicians, beginning with the President and Congress; political appointees, starting with Cabinet members, then their deputies and so on; lobbyists, who are often former members of Congress and former political appointees (that’s the revolving door Trump is trying to close); and finally, the entrenched bureaucracy that makes a solid living by the tens of thousands, often accomplishing little more than self-perpetuating. The leaks damaging to Trump and appointees is coming from this final group.

The Washington metro area never suffered through the long recession and economic downturn that the rest of the country did. It never does. Because the billions of dollars — trillions, actually — just keep pouring into the Capitol.

This is the swamp that hundreds of thousands of Trump supporters chanted about at his campaign stops across the country.

When Trump was elected, he immediately set about keeping the promises he made over and over on the campaign trail. Draining would commence. That in itself is shocking, as it has long been accepted — by the media and “smart” circles, not so much the rest of America — that Republicans and Democrats alike say a lot of things during a campaign to get elected that we all know — wink, wink — they do not intend to act on.

This is the bait and switch. Clinton was never going to provide a middle class tax cut. Bush was never going to cut entitlements. Obama was never going to block gay marriage. The media knows it and is part of the act.

This Beltway acceptance of lying to the American people in “campaign mode” reflects the elite’s expectation that the masses are stupid enough to not see it during governing mode. That’s also how Washington works. But the people saw it, and found someone they believed would do what he said. The results are in. Trump is setting about the draining.

Rapid response

The establishment of both parties was rocked on their keisters by Trump’s election. His campaign mode is the same as his governing mode in terms of doing what he said he would. His quick actions on promises to start undoing the Washington that does not work for most Americans was like poking a mama grizzly in her den with her cubs.

Reaction was swift, from demonstrations without to leaks from within. The small minority of Republicans publicly opposing Trump gave cover to Democrats to go to unexplored extremes, beyond the normal political oppositions all presidents naturally face from the opposing party.

Because of Trump’s own careless linguistic excesses and thin skin, he provides continual fodder for the masses of the angry Left that was being used by the organized, funded elements of the Left.

Remember, these were people who were sure they were going to get the first woman president and losing to such an upstart apple cart over-turner was enraging. The demonstration organizers and funders are able to take that anger and frustration of the Left and use it to leverage their existing infrastructure of protesting machines. While many people in the demonstrations are sincerely upset, they are being used by the Left establishment.

So this impressive array came together: The Democrat establishment, just a small but cover-providing portion of the Republican establishment, the media establishment that Trump continues to engage head-on like no one else, the entrenched bureaucratic establishment (including the intelligence agencies) and ancillary establishments of lobbyists, experts, etc. They aligned in common cause against the man that most seems to threatened the system that has empowered and enriched them.

Trump is a highly imperfect vehicle for this undertaking, but this same array would have come together against any candidate who truly meant to “drain the swamp.” Trump just makes it a little easier with his public carelessness.

If Trump is allowed to do what he says he wants to do, it becomes the first loosening of the plug at the bottom of the swamp. A lot of political oxes will be gored, power and influence will be lost and cozy D.C. establishments on the Left and Right will be up-ended.

They won’t wait to see how he does because it is not in their best interests to do so, and they seem to have all the components in place to not wait.

Seismic change: Tuesday’s address to Congress

Key phrase being “seem to.”

This is vital, because Trump presented a dramatically different image of himself when he address the Joint Session of Congress Tuesday night — a State of the Union for a newly elected president. In it, Trump laid out a vision for the country that was not sifted through the heavy filter of media bias and negativity.

Trump was presidential, controlled, focused on his vision and agenda, compassionate and patriotic. He hit 80 percent conservative notes, 20 percent populist notes. The reviews even in the media were that Trump not only gave a great speech — because expectations are low with him on giving speeches — but a well above-average speech for any State of the Union or equivalent. It was a real effort at post-partisanship (to which the Democrats in attendance gave the metaphorical middle finger) and a forceful vision of a renewed America.

Even his fiercest enemies, such as Van Jones, said: “He became President of the United States in that moment, period.”

So if Trump not only does exactly what he promised to do in terms of the broadest “drain the swamp” actions, but does it with more of the gravitas expected of the office, then the Washington establishment will have two options: dig in deeper and ratchet up or give up and surrender.

There is no reason to think they will easily surrender their power, influence and wealth.

Time for Republican Millennials to Grow Up

Two weeks ago, Shermichael Singleton, the deputy chief of staff for incoming Housing and Urban Development (HUD) secretary Ben Carson, was unceremoniously fired; with the dismissal, the Trump administration also stripped away his dignity.

It all started back on October 24, 2016. Singleton wrote a very critical editorial about Trump’s presidential candidacy.

“…The moral fiber of the Republican Party and America as a whole is at stake. That is why I continue to speak up against Trump’s candidacy…There is no way I can bring myself to vote for Donald Trump,” said Singleton.

I have absolutely no regard for most Black Republicans from the millennial generation. They are arrogant as hell, think they know everything, and have no intellectual curiosity about anything.

Singleton is one of the few from this group that I actually have some hope for. I think he is very sharp, but I think he lacks the proper guidance from some of the more seasoned political operators, who could have guided him through some of his unforced errors.

But one thing that has been bothering me about this Singleton episode is, if Trump was as bad as he indicated in his October column’ why in the hell would he want to work for someone like that?

By accepting a job with Trump, he undercut the whole rationale of his editorial. In essence, he became the very thing he was accusing Trump of. If you “can’t vote” for Trump, how can you justify working for him? Just a thought.

After the White House gave him a job at HUD, they came across this critical editorial. From my understanding, they then called Carson’s chief of staff, who was tasked with firing Singleton.

He was ushered out of the building by security with no advanced warning. This was the White House’s version of doing a perp walk. This was totally unnecessary. I don’t want to hear any garbage about this being standard operating procedures.

It wasn’t like he was accused of embezzlement or rape. He wrote a damned editorial. The White House could have simply let the chief of staff walk him out of the building after work hours and no one would have been the wiser. If they wanted to.

Carson was notified of the firing the next day. Wait! Let me get this straight. The incoming head of HUD (Carson has yet to be confirmed by the Senate, but is expected to be by the end of the week) has one of his top personal aides fired and he had absolutely no input into the decision? Really?

Carson should have immediately withdrawn his name from consideration for the HUD post. But I digress.

My advice to Singleton: SHUT THE HELL UP! Stop doing media interviews. You seemed to have become intoxicated with being in the media. You need to lay low for about a year and get back on track. You are only compounding your troubles.

Shermichael, you should be extremely concerned that not one person has publically said anything supportive of you. Carson’s only words about you was he was “baffled and speechless” at your firing but “he is moving on.” That is not exactly a ringing endorsement of you. Shouldn’t that bother you?

It is quite obvious that you have no seasoned people around you that give a damn about you; or they would have given you the same counsel I am offering you.
I cringed when I read this statement by you in a media interview, “I helped him [Carson] through the confirmation process…I actually wrote the initial draft of the opening [hearing] statement…I guess you could say I was the brainchild behind it.”

Shermichael, I have written congressional testimony for many people and written speeches for some of the biggest names in business, sports, entertainment, and politics; you never, let me repeat: never ever, publically, take credit for something like that.

You come off as self-promoting, arrogant and bringing attention to yourself, not your principal, Ben Carson.

I think you have a bright future, but you must surround yourself with experienced people who can guide you. By your actions, it’s obvious that you don’t have that type of support, or you are simply ignoring their advice.

You must understand that how you, and by extension Carson, were treated is an ominous sign that the White House has no regard for you. You must understand that the loud silence of those who call you friends are like the sounding brass or the tingling cymbal, full of sound and fury signifying nothing.

Your experience should be a lesson and a wakeup call to all Black millennials in our party. Civilization did not start when you came out of your mother’s womb. Believe it or not, there were Black Republicans long before millennials came along.

Shermichael, you must spend more time reflecting on this experience and less time talking to the media. I am not convinced that you have any idea how serious your treatment was and what it means to your future. Just my humble thoughts.

The media’s descent into partisan madness

The media failed in its constitutional mission by not covering Obama’s administration critically, and continues to fail as it behaves like an opposition party against Trump.

The press has been having a field day with Donald Trump since before his inauguration, magnifying every misstep, exploiting every controversy, and packaging its indignation as straight news in the apparent belief that its job is to delegitimize his presidency.  Granted, Mr. Trump’s unfiltered use of twitter, penchant for audacious statements, and tendency to discredit rather than dialogue have provided his critics with plenty of ammunition; but the one constant seems to be the media’s refusal to forgive any miscues or consider reasonable interpretations for any of his statements or policies.  Its relentless treatment of Trump contrasts with the fawning sycophancy it displayed during the administration of his predecessor, who was spared from any probing scrutiny or objective criticism.

Even before Mr. Trump’s inauguration, mainstream reporters strained to brand his incoming administration as bigoted and racist.  They attempted, for example, to characterize his Chief White House Strategist, Steve Bannon, as an anti-Semite – despite Bannon’s public record of support for Israel and opposition to anti-Jewish boycotts.  Though some progressive Jewish organizations initially echoed these sentiments, they retracted their comments after prominent liberals like Alan Dershowitz stated there was nothing in Bannon’s background to suggest he bore any animosity towards Jews or Israel

If mainstream journalists and commentators were honestly troubled by the scourge of anti-Semitism after Trump’s election, one must wonder why they expressed no concern during Mr. Obama’s eight years in office.  Why did they ignore Obama’s longstanding relationships with Israel bashers and progressive anti-Semites?  Where was their outrage over the Jew-hatred on display in the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (“BDS”) and Israel Apartheid Week movements?  Or the left’s use of repugnant stereotypes to demonize Israel and her supporters?  Or the anti-Jewish rhetoric and intimidation that have become commonplace on North American college campuses?

The media’s faux indignation over allegations of anti-Semitism was matched only by its fatuous efforts to characterize Trump as a fascist by rewriting history.  More than a few liberal pundits have likened Trump and his supporters to Nazis, claiming that just like Hitler, Trump was elected by a radical and extreme electorate.  Such comparisons show profound ignorance, however, in that (a) Hitler was never elected to office (he was appointed chancellor after losing the only election he ever ran), and (b) many of Trump’s views are not so different from the mainstream, as indicated by a number public opinion polls.

Ironically, it was American progressives who viewed fascism favorably in the 1930s because of their shared affinity for secular statism and social engineering.

The press represents itself as the innocent victim of a Trump vendetta and counts on his outrageousness to validate the narrative of its victimhood.  Though he might be combative, it does not mean his distrust of the media is unwarranted – particularly given its role in fomenting hysteria against him and blurring the line between editorial and fact.  The coverage regarding his first executive order imposing a temporary travel ban was indicative of reporters who engage in political activism instead of objective reportage.

On January 27, 2017, Trump signed Executive Order 13769, entitled “Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States” (since blocked in court), which would have imposed a ninety-day ban on travel from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen, seven high-terror nations as identified by the Obama administration.  Hysterical media critics dubbed it a “Muslim ban” and proclaimed it unlawful, though the President has both constitutional and statutory authority to promulgate such orders, and extraterritorial foreign nationals have no rights under the U.S. Constitution.

The executive order could not have effectuated a Muslim ban as media reports claimed, however, because it applied to only seven out of fifty-seven Muslim nations.  The litmus test for its application was not religion or ethnicity, but origination from any of the seven nations identified.  Nevertheless, opponents claimed the ban’s intent was to target Islam, with some scaremongers characterizing it as the first step toward confining Muslims to internment camps.  Such claims were outrageous, particularly considering the Obama administration imposed a six-month travel ban with the approval of Congressional Democrats in 2011.  Where were the protests then?

Though the rollout of Executive Order 13769 was flawed and its scope too broad (it would have included resident aliens with green cards), its purpose was to prevent terrorism and protect the homeland – priorities that are clearly within the president’s purview.  However, Trump’s naysayers engaged in disinformation when they said he had no authority to sign the order or that no other president had ever done so.

Taking a page from Obama’s playbook, some opponents of the travel ban attempted to obfuscate the connection between terrorism and radical Islam and minimized the impact of terrorist attacks on American soil.  Although Press Secretary Sean Spicer was excoriated for claiming that terrorism in the U.S. has been underreported, he had a valid point considering the media’s history of calling it workplace violence, domestic assault, or generic extremism.

Over the past few years, journalists have described the Orlando massacre as an anti-gay hate crime and the San Bernardino and Fort Hood shootings as workplace violence.  They labeled beheadings and murders of Coptic Christians, apostate Muslims, and Jews in Oklahoma, New Jersey, Texas and Massachusetts as criminal assaults, workplace violence, or violent extremism; and they continue to describe honor killings of Muslim women as domestic crimes.  Though Obama’s policy of apologetics is fading in the rearview, the media continues to call terrorism anything but what it is.

Establishment reporters are upset over Mr. Trump’s treatment of the White House media corps and his refusal to follow traditional press conference protocol, and they claim he threatens free speech with his confrontational demeanor and preoccupation with fake news.  However, Trump is not the first president to have a contentious relationship with the media; Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson and Abraham Lincoln were as combative with the press in their time as Trump is today.

And a president’s challenge to media credibility is not the same as government restraint of speech.  Regardless of how Trump questions the media’s excesses or impugns its veracity, he is not restricting reporters from writing what they want.  Consequently, he is trampling nobody’s First Amendment rights.

Those who claim otherwise sounded no alarm when Obama marginalized conservative outlets, especially Fox News, or when his Justice Department threatened reporters with prosecution.  The use of government offices during his administration to monitor and intimidate the press really did implicate the First Amendment.

None of this should be surprising given the evolution of journalism since the 1960s, when reporters began to inject personal sensibilities into the news and infuse their reporting with a political point of view.  The truth is that journalism was never completely objective because writers have always had opinions.  Still, reporters traditionally strove to suspend their own subjectivity.  With the advent of the “New Journalism,” however, it became acceptable to displace objectivity with literary artifice.  Though this trend was soon jettisoned as an acceptable journalistic standard, it left behind a legacy of editorial tolerance for writers whose reporting reflected their political views – particularly when they promoted liberal politicians, advocated progressive policies, or disparaged Israel.

Through the First Amendment, America’s founding fathers envisioned a free citizen press that would be independent of government.  They did not anticipate a factional media that would actively promote some administrations and undermine others.  The media’s embarrassingly soft coverage of the Obama White House and adversarial treatment of Trump’s administration show the polar extremes of its partisan dysfunction.

There’s nothing wrong with criticizing the president and reporting his gaffes, or with publishing opinion and commentary on the editorial page.  Straight news, however, should be reported without venom or spleen.  The media failed in its constitutional mission by not covering Obama’s administration critically, and continues to fail as it behaves like an opposition party against Trump.

Reporters should never seek to placate their subjects, but neither should they present tendentious advocacy as hard news or neutral analysis.  When public opinion surveys show that many people find Mr. Trump’s tweets more credible sources of information than traditional news outlets, the media should realize it has a problem and correct its behavior accordingly – for the proper functioning of society if not for the sake of its own integrity.

True Charity and Bureaucracy Don’t Mix by Elizabeth Melton

“A bureaucracy never dismantles itself.”—Daniel Hannan, British MP

When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005, over $2.5 billion was donated to the Red Cross by private donors. It was a record-breaking relief response, but not the only notable example of humanity to take place.

Along with all of the people who wrote a check or made an online donation, there were countless others who helped on a more human level.

Spontaneous Charity

People opened their homes to complete strangers who now found themselves homeless. Others loaded up trucks with water and groceries and drove to the outskirts of the devastation to directly contribute to those in need.

These spontaneous outpourings of goodness were a bright spot in the darkness of the time, particularly so when compared to the grim results provided by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and other government agencies.

In a community, a person is an individual; in a bureaucracy, a person is a number.

Those who possess a mindset of freedom have a horrible reputation with social progressives when it comes to matters of compassion. “A voluntary society would never work!” they exclaim. “What about the poor, the weak, the sick, the disadvantaged?” They then proceed to describe a dystopian society where all but the smartest and strongest languish in abject poverty, misery, and enslavement–think, Dickens, meets Lord of the Flies, meets Pinocchio’s Paradise Island.

This wasteland of a society is where we would certainly all find ourselves if not for the “benevolent” hand of government—which reaches out to pamper and protect our most vulnerable.

This melodramatic way of looking at liberty is uninformed, to say the least. I would go as far as to suggest that not only could a voluntary society care for its needy, but that it would, in fact, do a much better job than our current government-run system.

Community Service

In a community, a person in need is an individual; in a bureaucracy, a person in need is a number.

A community recognizes the needs of its members without investigation. There is no need to fill out forms or sign paperwork that threatens incarceration should any of the facts not fall within the rigid parameters required for eligibility.

The rules within a community are flexible and take into account the changing circumstances of those in need. Everyone knows when Mr. Jones is back on his feet again and no longer needs his grass cut or when Mrs. Smith has gone back to work and no longer needs casseroles.

The current system, good intentions or not, has done nothing but create a caste system of societal outcasts and relieved individuals of any feeling of responsibility for their fellow man.

Families are ripped out of what should be economically diverse communities and herded into “housing projects.” The residents of these “projects” then tend to view themselves as disadvantaged, rather than as an essential part of a broader community.

This creates an atmosphere of “us” versus “them,” rather than an atmosphere of community and mutual cooperation.

The situation is worsened by the fact that any efforts to improve oneself through meaningful work or by building a more stable family structure are punished by losing the housing upon which one has now come to depend.

Lack of meaningful work can lead to frustration, anger, and depression which, in turn, can lead to violence. Lack of a stable family structure deprives those individuals of much-needed support.

The current system damages those outside of the “projects” as well. These individuals no longer feel a responsibility to personally reach out to the needy as now there are “programs for that.”

In the same way that the residents have lives empty of meaningful work, the non-residents have lives empty of meaningful altruism. Most people want to give and need to give. The very people who advocate for this type of system in the name of humanity are robbing our society of humanity.

When elderly school bus monitor Karen Klein was bullied by four middle school boys, the viral video which captured it inspired gifts of over $700,000.00 to send her on vacation. She, in turn, used a portion of that money to start an anti-bullying foundation. If people would come together in this way for her, I hardly believe they wouldn’t come together to help other people in need.

There are so many examples of this kind of generosity. Animal shelters are left entire estates by generous benefactors. Certainly, people would come through for their fellow human beings as well were there not the perception that government was already meeting those needs.

“But this is so random and spontaneous!” the naysayers cry. “Wouldn’t people fall through the cracks?” Of course they would, just as they do now. One need only walk down a downtown sidewalk or peek under an interstate bridge to find countless examples of those who have “fallen through the cracks.” Such is the quality of life—bad things will always happen and there will always be suffering in the world.

Perhaps if we did not have this bureaucracy, churches would get back to the business of caring for the poor and downtrodden, rather than building mega-churches.

There was a time when there was an extensive network of Catholic hospitals that turned no one away regardless of their religious affiliation, or lack of one. Mutual aid societies created a safety net within communities and a traveler who belonged to an organization could find assistance among members in other towns and cities, should they find themselves in need.

Won’t You Be My Neighbor?

Last, but most important, was that building block of society known as “the neighborhood” where neighbors looked out for one another and worked out problems among themselves. A helping hand from a neighbor was not considered charity but part of a cycle of caring for others or being cared for.

The beauty of the community is that one does not have to change anything politically to make it viable. Anyone can go knock on the doors of their neighbors and get to know them. No one needs government permission to mentor a student that needs help but can’t afford it. A group of citizens can start a community garden to provide fresh produce in the midst of a food desert.

Do you have rental property? Any rental property owner who is concerned with fair and affordable housing can offer fair and affordable rent. Any physician who is concerned with equal access to quality health care can opt out of bureaucratic insurance plans and start charging a simple, reasonable fee. The money saved in paperwork filing would certainly help to make up the difference.

If we want to change the culture of our society to one which truly cares for all of its members, we can all start doing it today. There is no need to tear down the cold and uncaring bureaucracy that currently holds sway. A bureaucracy cannot remain if there is no one there to use it. By strengthening the village (the true village, not the government-constructed one) the bureaucracy might crumble and cease to exist.

Democrats Wear White at State of Union: Remember when Democrats wore white before?

House Democratic women are wearing white — a symbol of women’s suffrage — to Trump’s speech”

Democratic women in Congress made a bold statement at President Trump’s address to Congress Tuesday night by wearing white, a symbol of the suffragist movement.

The effort was led by Rep. Lois Frankel (D-FL), chair of the House Democratic Women’s Working Group. That working group includes all 66 Democratic women members and delegates of the US House of Representatives, many of whom participated in the action.

“We wear white to unite against any attempts by the Trump administration to roll back the incredible progress women have made in the last century, and we will continue to support the advancement of all women,” Frankel said in a statement. “We will not go back.”

So what exactly are these women protesting? These women in white already have the right to vote, not only in elections but on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Perhaps they should help President Trump do some of the things he said during his address to the United States Congress.

President Trump began his remarks with a commitment to civil rights:

And citizens of America, tonight, as we mark the conclusion of our celebration of black history month, we are reminded of our nation’s path toward civil rights and the work that still remains to be done. Recent threats — Recent threats targeting Jewish community centers and vandalism of Jewish cemeteries, as well as last week’s shooting in Kansas City, remind us that while we may be a nation divided on policies, we are a country that stands united in condemning hate and evil in all of its very ugly forms.

President Trump stated during his Remarks to Congress that he set up a council with the Prime Minister of Canada to focus on women entrepreneurs. President Trump emphatically stated:

And with the help of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, we have formed a counsel with our neighbors in Canada to help ensure that women entrepreneurs have access to the networks, markets and capital they need to start a business and live out their financial dreams.

He also talked about the plight of mothers living in inter-cities and the education of children who live there. President Trump drew attention to one young woman who fought against a broken public education system and succeeded despite the odds against her. The President recognized Denisha Merriweather with these words:

Joining us tonight in the gallery is a remarkable woman, Denisha Merriweather. As a young girl, Denisha struggled in school and failed third grade twice. But then she was able to enroll in a private center for learning, great learning center, with the help of a tax credit, and a scholarship program. Today, she is the first in her family to graduate, not just from high school, but from college. Later this year, she will get her master’s degree in social work. We want all children to be able to break the cycle of poverty just like Denisha.

President Trump pointed out the violence that harms women and children stating:

But to break the cycle of poverty, we must also break the cycle of violence.

The murder rate in 2015 experienced its largest single-year increase in nearly half a century. In Chicago, more than 4,000 people were shot last year alone –- and the murder rate so far this year has been even higher. This is not acceptable in our society. Every American child should be able to grow up in a safe community, to attend a great school, and to have access to a high-paying job.

Perhaps it is time for Democrats in general, and women who are Democrats and members of Congress to work with President Trump. Wearing white is not the answer. This act creates division when unity is needed to make America great, again.

According to Wikipedia:

Suffragist is a more general term for members of the suffrage movement. The term “suffragette” is particularly associated with activists in the British Women’s Social and Political Union (WSPU), led by Emmeline and Christabel Pankhurst, who were influenced by Russian methods of protest such as hunger strikes. The WSPU It was best known for hunger strikes (and forced feeding), for breaking windows in prominent buildings, and for night-time arson of unoccupied houses and churches.

In the United State the suffragette movement was a feminist movement. According to Wikipedia:

Women’s suffrage in the United States, the legal right of women to vote in that country, was established over the course of several decades, first in various states and localities, sometimes on a limited basis, and then nationally in 1920.

Fake News Still Lyin’ About The TEA Party

Harriet Baldwin posted on Facebook. “Pisses me off when the alt-left media likens these paid Obama/Soros/Alinsky violent protesters to the Tea Party.”

To Harriet, I say, “Amen sister!”

Folks, I am a black singer/songwriter who has been in the Tea Party from the beginning. In 2008, Our Country Deserves Better PAC invited me on their “Stop Obama” national bus tour. In 2009, I wrote the “American Tea Party Anthem” which I performed at Tea Party rallies on 14 national bus tours with Tea Party Express and others.

It has infuriated me the way the despicable fake news media intentionally branded the salt-of-the-earth good Americans at the rallies a bunch of redneck racists vehemently opposed to America electing its first black president. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Many of those folks at the rallies excitedly voted for Obama assuming it would heal America’s racial divides. They became aware that Obama was the Left’s bait and switch president; running as a moderate – governing like an out-of-control lawless far-left radical.

Folks, Tea Party people are not racist. They love their country. They desire equal justice for all Americans. They do not want government dictating how to raise their kids and micromanaging their lives to achieve the Left’s absurd goal of equal outcomes.

Trump calling out fake news outlets is exhilarating.

Along with media from around the world, CNN was embedded on one of the TEA Party Express tours. The CNN reporter attended 35 rallies for a CNN documentary. I was a headliner, opening every rally, rocking the house with my “American Tea Party Anthem.” I closed every rally with a powerful rendition of “God Bless the USA” in which I invited every veteran in the audience to join me on stage. Audiences spontaneously jumped to their feet, cheering and applauding as vets made their way to the stage. The crowds expressed extra enthusiastic love when a WWII vet made his way or was helped to the stage.

The people loved me and I loved them back because we were united in our love for America and our desire not to see her transformed into a socialist/progressive Godless nation. Rally attendees treated me like a rock star; purchasing my CDs, asking for autographs, asking me to take pictures with their kids.

When the CNN documentary was aired, not one time was my black face shown, nor was black Christian publishers, William and Selena Owens, Kevin Jackson, Herman Cain or other black speakers at the rallies.

Consequently, my 80 year old black dad believed the Tea Party was a bunch of hate-filled scary racist white people because he heard it on CNN. I said, “But dad, I’m on the tour bus and they allow me to ride up front!”

As I said, the complete opposite of the fake news narrative regrading the Tea Party is true.

In Texas at a Tea Party rally, a white cowboy approached me pushing a stroller with two black babies. The proud father of adopted babies from Africa said he and his white wife asked God to give them kids who needed their love. He was excited about his babies soon becoming American citizens.

In Michigan at a rally, a white woman in a wheelchair, spotted me. “Oh my gosh, it’s Lloyd Marcus! Can I please have a picture with you?” The woman’s adult daughter told someone on our staff. “My mom is dying. She said all she wanted to do was meet Lloyd Marcus.”

Tea Party attendees endlessly apologized to me for opposing the first black president. Folks, I could go on and on with fond memories of heartwarming incidents, acts of kindness, love, respect and tearful moments of patriotism.

So, when fake news media goes messin’ with my tea party family, they’re on the fightin’ side of me. The decent, hardworking, orderly and responsible patriots in the Tea Party have been purposely slandered by the fake news media. It is beyond disgusting.

kill trump grafiti

Graffiti sprayed by anti-Trump surrogates.

Meanwhile, scum-of-the-earth Black Lives Matter which encourages blacks to kill white people and cops is celebrated in the fake news media. Though unreported, black attacks on whites, ambushes and assassinations of police have skyrocketed

Since election night when We the People stunned the fake news media by defeating Hillary, Leftists have literally lost their minds with vitriolic hate for us. Obama and Soros launched violent hate groups and protesters to wreck havoc in our streets to create the illusion that a majority of Americans hate Trump.

And now, fake news media has the nerve to place the Left’s paid deranged, violent and chaos producing thugs on a higher moral level than the Tea Party. Heaven forbid.

Liberals Accept Responsibility for Killers [LARK] program proposed to care for Detained Terrorists

L.A.R.K. stands for ‘Liberals Accept Responsibility for Killers’

This is a joke people!

Names have been removed or changed in this internet message that has been making the rounds for years.

The letter is attributed to a Canadian Minister of Defense which tells you right away it is a joke (imagine boy Trudeau, or any previous prime minister of Canada, having such a brave and humorous Minister in his cabinet!).

However, I am posting it just to make the point about the value of messages like this that circulate to thousands and thousands of people around the globe achieving a life of their own! (This one has been circulating in one form or another since as early 2002, we learned.)

The messages contain nuggets of truth and such enormous common sense that they resonate and people send them on definitely much more frequently than any serious factual blog post I could write. (Maybe you have already seen it many times!)

And, I am posting it so that you can have a good Monday morning laugh!

It is also a test to see if some Lefties will claim I am spreading fake news.  Let’s see if this turns up somewhere to discredit my work.

A Canadian female liberal wrote a lot of letters to the Canadian government, complaining about the treatment of captive insurgents (terrorists) being held in Afghanistan National Correctional System facilities. She demanded a response to her letter.

She received back the following reply:

National Defense Headquarters
(General’s name removed)

Dear Concerned Citizen,

Thank you for your recent letter expressing your profound concern of treatment of the Taliban and Al Qaeda terrorists captured by Canadian Forces, who were subsequently transferred to the Afghanistan Government and are currently being held by Afghan officials in Afghanistan National Correctional System facilities.

Our administration takes these matters seriously and your opinions were heard loud and clear here in Ottawa.

You will be pleased to learn, thanks to the concerns of citizens like yourself, we are creating a new department here at the Department of National Defence, to be called ‘Liberals Accept Responsibility for Killers’ program, or L.A.R.K. for short.

In accordance with the guidelines of this new program, we have decided, on a trial basis, to divert several terrorists and place them in homes of concerned citizens such as yourself, around the country, under those citizens personal care. Your personal detainee has been selected and is scheduled for transportation under heavily armed guard to your residence in Toronto next Monday.

Mohammed Ahmed (name shortened) is your detainee, and is to be cared for pursuant to the standards you personally demanded in your letter of complaint. You will be pleased to know that we will conduct weekly inspections to ensure that your standards of care for Ahmed are commensurate with your recommendations.

Although Ahmed is a sociopath and extremely violent, we hope that your sensitivity to what you described as his ‘attitudinal problem’ will help him overcome those character flaws. Perhaps you are correct in describing these problems as mere cultural differences. We understand that you plan to offer counselling and home schooling, however, we strongly recommend that you hire some assistant caretakers.

Please advise any Jewish friends, neighbors or relatives about your house guest, as he might get agitated or even violent, but we are sure you can reason with him. He is also expert at making a wide variety of explosive devices from common household products, so you may wish to keep those items locked up, unless in your opinion, this might offend him. Your adopted terrorist is extremely proficient in hand-to-hand combat and can extinguish human life with such simple items as a pencil or nail clippers. We advise that you do not ask him to demonstrate these skills either in your home or wherever you choose to take him while helping him adjust to life in our country.

Ahmed will not wish to interact with you or your daughters except sexually, since he views females as a form of property, thereby having no rights, including refusal of his sexual demands. This is a particularly sensitive subject for him.

You also should know that he has shown violent tendencies around women who fail to comply with the dress code that he will recommend as more appropriate attire. I’m sure you will come to enjoy the anonymity offered by the burka over time. Just remember that it is all part of respecting his culture and religious beliefs’ as described in your letter.

You take good care of Ahmed and remember that we will try to have a counsellor available to help you over any difficulties you encounter while Ahmed is adjusting to Canadian culture.

Thanks again for your concern. We truly appreciate it when folks like you keep us informed of the proper way to do our job and care for our fellow man.

Good luck and God bless you.
Cordially,

(General’s name removed)
Minister of National Defense

I’d love to see a letter like this proposing that Liberals take refugees in to their own homes!  Are you a clever writer?

We have a category entitled ‘Laugh of the day’ where this is now archived.

Dear New World Generation [a.k.a. Millennials]

Clearly, we have let you down… Based upon what we see you doing in our streets today, we have not brought you up properly. We should have given you far less things and far more time as you were growing up. If we had known this is what you would do on the college campus, we would have put your tuition in our retirement account and sent you to work after high school.

Here’s what I see you doing… and NONE of it makes any sense at all

  • You think that freedom is fascism (and) fascism is freedom
  • You think that the foundations of freedom are outdated and that communism is progressive
  • You think that rioting in the streets and destroying other people’s property is your 1st Amendment Right
  • You think your parents are fools and that you are much more intelligent
  • You think legal immigrants and illegal migrants are the same thing
  • You think Muslim is a race
  • You think racism is a one-way street committed only by white people
  • You think money falls in your lap and the world owes you whatever your heart desires
  • You think that George Washington was a traitor and George Soros is a hero
  • You think that modern day court jesters (entertainers) are world leaders
  • You think it’s better to dive into the hood, rather than lift others out of the hood
  • You think killing the next generation in the womb is a good idea and a constitutionally protect right
  • You think you can change your true sex by simply mutilating your body
  • You think because we gave you a college education, that this somehow gave you wisdom
  • You think that the people who love you the most, matter the least

I could keep going with the list, but if you don’t get it by now, what would be the point? Everything in your world is backwards.

Yes, we have failed you! We tried to give you everything we never had… and we may have ruined you for life by doing that. We are sorry…

It could be our fault that you are twisted inside-out and upside-down on nearly every thought you have in the course of a day. We thought we were sending you through higher education, only to find out that it was heavy indoctrination – leaving you incapable of passing a 3rd grade vocabulary test or 5th grade history exam, even with your fancy degree on the wall.

Where to begin the socio-political deprogramming that is so clearly critical to your future…

I’m afraid we are a bit late. The nonsense that was drummed into you by the commune while we were busy working to keep a roof over your head, seems nearly impossible to flush out of your system at this point.

You could be America’s first lost generation… an entire generation that simply must be written off as unreachable – unfixable – gone. New World views are now so deep seeded in your psyche that we simply don’t know how to help you at this late date.

People who think they know everything, can’t learn anything. We are trying to reach you, but so far, without much success. We knock, no one answers…

Maybe we should begin with baby-steps – treat it like a twelve-step detox program. Something basic, like simple vocabulary lessons.

Let’s try the word “fascism,” since your generation likes throwing that word around so freely, with clearly no clue at all what the word actually means…

  • Fascism – “A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, a capitalist economy subject to stringent governmental controls, violent suppression of the opposition” – a form of totalitarianism, or communism, or Marxism.
  • Here’s a link to a grade school level explanation of the word

Let’s just start here, can we?

Clearly, the true meaning of the term “fascism” is opposite your use of the term today. Maybe once you know what the word actually means, you will stop using it incorrectly, as an attack against every American who believes in the foundations of freedom and liberty, which unfortunately, protects even your right to be wrong.

I’m not ready to give up on your yet…

This is simply too important to just throw in the towel on your whole generation.

If you were able to read this far without passing out or going into hysteria, take a moment to write me. If we can’t talk to each other, learn from each other, then we will end up battling each other. That’s not the life we want for you.

We need YOU to make America great again… We are the past, you are the future. You must get it right, not for us, but for yourselves. Write me at jb.uspu@gmail.com.

Is the GOP Worth Saving?

At a time in U.S. history when Republicans occupy the White House, when both houses of Congress enjoy Republican majorities, when Republicans occupy 33 of the 50 governors’ mansions, and when Republicans control both houses of the legislature in 31 states and at least one house in 6 others, why would anyone question whether or not the party is worth saving?

The answer lies, in part, in the party’s response to the organized disruptions taking place in Republican town hall meetings and rallies across the country.  An offshoot of Barack Obama’s Soros-funded organization, Organizing for Action (OfA), has written and published a 26-page manual, titled “Indivisible – A Practical Guide for Resisting the Trump Agenda.”  That manual, which has been distributed among radical leftists across the country, provides helpful hints on how to organize and how to disrupt Republican rallies and town hall meetings.

For example, Page 18 of the manual contains the following advice regarding attendance at town hall meetings:

  1. Get there early, meet up, and organize. Meet outdoors or in the parking lot for a quick huddle before the event.
  2. Get seated and spread out. Head into the venue a bit early to grab seats at the front half of the room, but do not all sit together.
  3. Make your voices heard by asking good questions. When the (Member of Congress) opens the floor for questions, everyone in the group should put their hands up and keep them there.  When you’re asking a question, remember the following guidelines:
  • Stick with the prepared list of questions.
  • Be polite but persistent, and demand real answers.
  • Don’t give up the mic until you’re satisfied with the answer.
  • Keep the pressure on.
  1. Support the group and reinforce the message.
  2. Record everything.

One would think that the rowdy disruption of Rep. Jason Chaffetz’ town hall meeting in a Salt Lake City suburb on Thursday, February 9, might have given the White House, the RNC, and the Republican congressional leadership a hint of what was to come… especially after POLITICO’s February 9 headline read, “Chaffetz Booed at Rowdy Town Hall.”  Nice guy Jason Chaffetz?  In conservative Salt Lake City?  How could that possibly happen unless the disruption was planned and carried out by Obama/Soros partisans and other Trump haters?

If we had a single Republican leader in Washington who understands the game they’re in and the nature of the enemy, every Republican in the House and Senate would have been prepared in advance for what they would face during the February recess.  Every member of Congress would have been provided with a copy of the Indivisible manual.  And as they approached the podium in their respective rallies and town halls, they should have been prepared to hold the manual up for all to see, saying, “I have here in my hand a manual prepared by radical leftists… Clinton and Obama loyalists… which instructs them on how to infiltrate and disrupt Republican political rallies and town hall meetings such as the meeting we are about to have.  But I want to remind everyone here that we all have a right to be heard.  So if you become convinced that some among you are not here in good faith, with a sincere desire to discuss the issues of the day, I hope you will treat them with kindness and respect.”

Disarming the opposition in advance is a perfectly good tactic.  Unfortunately, our current GOP leadership is so feckless and so lacking in political savvy that no one in a leadership position in Washington, or elsewhere, prepared members of Congress for what they would face in their home states and districts.  As a result, they were blindsided by the Obama/Soros people and many were made to look like fools before the TV cameras.

During the first twenty-five years of my life in the political arena, I struggled with the question of what it was that I looked for in the candidates and party leaders I supported.  What was it that caused me to be attracted to some and repulsed by others?  I wasn’t able to answer that question for myself until August 1987 when I served as deputy campaign manager in the presidential exploratory committee of former defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld.  How did I know that  Rumsfeld was presidential material, but George Bush was not?  I knew that the answer to my question was like a three-legged stool.  I had the first two parts in mind, but the third escaped me.

First, it is as Barbara Tuschman wrote:

It is “… achieving or reaching for the highest standard as against being satisfied with the sloppy or fraudulent.  It is honesty of purpose as against catering to cheap or sensational sentiment.  It does not allow compromise with the second rate.”

Secondly, it has to do with Edwin Land’s guiding philosophy:

“Don’t do anything that someone else can do.  Don’t undertake a project unless it is manifestly important and nearly impossible.  If it is manifestly important, then you don’t have to worry about its significance.  Since it’s nearly impossible, you know that no one else is likely to be doing it.”

The third and final leg of my “stool” didn’t come into focus until I saw a televised Firing Line discussion between Sidney Hook and William F. Buckley.  When asked his definition of the essence of true leadership, Hook replied,

”It is this: It is great intelligence, in combination with great moral courage.”

Those are the three tests that candidates must meet to earn my support, but the same is true of political parties, generally.  And although individual Republicans often disappoint us, as they do now, the party at least has a soul that is worthy of our devotion and our long term commitment.  Unlike the Democrat Party, the Republican Party can be said to have an honesty of purpose… a thread of commonly held values that run through every member of the party, past and present.

In his monologue of February 17, 2017, Rush Limbaugh described the Democrat Party as well as anyone has ever described it.  He said,

It’s easy to be a victim.  Look how easily the Democrat Party has made nearly half this country victims of something.  And what happens to you when  you’re a victim?  Well, when you’re a victim you already have a built-in excuse for failure.  When you’re a victim it’s always someone else’s fault.  When you’re a victim, success is not possible.   When you’re a victim, you are acknowledging that you are as far as you’re gonna’ get, and you can’t get any further because there are more powerful forces arrayed against you than the force of yourself against it.  And the Democrat Party does this on purpose.

“The Democrat Party makes as many people as possible victims because it freezes them right where they are.  And that’s usually in lower middle class or abject poverty.  It makes them resentful.  If you’re a victim, you’re not happy; you can’t be happy; it’s impossible to be happy.  It’s even difficult to be content.  If you’re a victim you’re always mad but never at yourself; you’re mad at someone else.  The Democrats have parlayed this into one of the biggest political movements in human history…

“Look how many victim groups there are and they all happen to be Democrat constituency groups.  They’re all on a protest march; they’re all angry; they’re all enraged.  Some of them are women, some of them are minorities, some of them are illegal immigrants… you name it.   But they all have one thing in common.  They have given up on the notion that they can be somebody and have, instead, descended into full-fledged victimhood and the comfort of being in the company of a group of like-minded failures.  Why isn’t everybody a victim?  It’s easy.  Anybody could choose that if they wanted to.  Being a victim is almost as easy as being a liberal; it’s one of the most gutless decisions you could make… A victim of what?  Well, you’re a victim of discrimination, you’re a victim of America, you’re a victim of America’s past, you’re a victim of religion, you’re a victim of bigotry and homophobia, whatever. You’re a victim of something.

“The Democrats have got one for you.  If you want to be a victim, call ‘em up.  Call (Senator) Schumer.  Tell him, ‘I want to join you; I want to be a victim.  Do you have a group for me?’  He’ll have one.  He’ll ask you what color you are, he’ll ask you what your sexual orientation is, he’ll ask you what your gender is.  He’ll ask you any number of questions and he’ll give you a choice of victim groups that you can join.  And then he’ll show you where you go to get a food stamp allocation… how you get emergency healthcare if you need it… all of this on the Democrats, and you can keep it flowing if you do just two things: stay a victim and vote Democrat.

“But the people who don’t choose that end up being the ones victims hate.  The people that choose to face life, the people that choose to embrace it, the people that choose to just soak it up, the people that choose to dive right in and test their limits and find out what they’re capable of and how good they can be, and if that’s really what they want to do… victims will hate them because they are showing what anybody can do if they just had an attitude adjustment…”

Yes, the Republicans we elect often have thick skulls and even thinner skins.  Lots of them have great intelligence, but many are a bit short on moral courage.  Few of them are capable of dealing with Democrats as we find them in the political arena, such as those who will choose to disrupt their town hall meetings.  But they have one thing going for them: we have arrived at the point as a nation when it is either do or die.  As a nation we find ourselves at death’s door.  So, as matters now stand, savable or not, the Republican Party is all we’ve got.

God help us.

Devil worshipers cast ‘binding spell’ on Trump followers — Hillary, Nancy, Chuck send their ‘best witches’

witches-640x480In a column titled “Witches Unite to Cast ‘Binding Spell’ on Trump and Followers” Breitbart’s Dr.  Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D. reports:

A group of witches is attempting to use black magic to neutralize U.S. President Donald Trump by casting a “binding spell” to prevent him from governing.

The “mass spell to bind Donald Trump” will be performed at midnight on every waning crescent moon beginning Friday, February 24, “until Donald Trump is removed from office,” the group’s website states.

The mass ritual will allegedly be repeated again March 26, April 24, May 23, June 21 (the summer solstice), July 21, and August 19.

The spell also invokes evil on “those who abet” Trump, which would seem to appear to cover his staff and political nominees, and perhaps the millions who voted for him as well.

The coven of devil worshipers sent invitations to Barack and Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to participate in the “binding spell” ceremony. However, due to scheduling conflicts all four sent staffers, a.k.a. best witches, to attend, observe and worship the devil in their place. The Obama’s former pastor Reverend Jeremiah Wright was not invited according to unnamed CNN sources.

According to the Free Witchcraft Spells website:

Sometimes simple spells can be the best spells. They may not feel quite as magickal [sic] as a really elaborate ritual, but many witches feel they can focus more on their intentions if they are not worrying about all the details.

Free Witchcraft has a spell for those who wish to “Bury and Banish” someone. The B&B spell, not to be confused with a Bed & Breakfast establishment, goes like this:

If there is someone in your life that you would like to not be involved with anymore, this is the spell for you. All you need is a black sheet of paper. Black construction paper is likely the easiest to find and will work fine.

Write the person’s name in the middle, and it doesn’t matter if you can’t actually read it. It just has to be there. Fold the paper up as small as you can. Take it outside and bury it in the ground. Once it’s buried, say the following out loud:

Into the ground
You can’t be found
You’re not around
I can’t heard your sound

Step over the place you’ve buried the paper, and that person will soon fade from your life.

Walmart, K-Mart and Save-a-Lot stores are reporting a sudden spike in sales of black construction paper in Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle.

The American Forest & Paper Association in a short statement notes, “Donald Trump has been good for paper manufacturing. The President is making good on his promise to grow the economy. Our members indicate that they will be adding over 1,000 jobs just to keep up with demand for our paper products. Hire American, buy American!”

A spokesman at the Black Lives Matter national headquarters issued the following press release concerning the binding and bury and banish spells:

While we appreciate the support of all witches and warlocks, we are concerned that the Bury and Banish spell uses black construction paper.

We believe this is racist and xenophobic. We have asked witches not bury black construction paper. Rather they should bury white folks and police officers in the ground.

This saves our trees, while reducing the world population by getting rid of racist pigs and their white privileged enablers, a.k.a. Trump voters.

This kills two birds with one stone. No pun intended

One of those who is “abetting” President Trump noted, “Does it seem like the Democrats are celebrating Halloween every day since November 8th, 2016?”

Over the years and currently each day veterans who risked their lives to save our beautiful country have been lied to, misinformed, and harassed by Veterans Hospital  (VH)  staff on a routine basis.  All one has to do is Google  this topic and  sadly you will see thousands of instances in which veterans were being treated as criminals by their physicians and their assistants.  I could write a book on these atrocities but for  today I am going to give readers an example of an abuse that has been committed by VH Salem (VHS) upon me over the last few years and as recent as of 21 Feb 2017.  I write this article with the intention of alerting other veterans to this form of physical and mental abuse.  It is also written so people who truly care about our veterans will step up and demand our veterans stop being mistreated at  the civil and criminal level by the government agency who are supposed to and being paid to help veterans and not treat them as useless pieces of human matter and used for experimentation.

A short bio:  I served in the USAF from 1977 until 1999.  Then I took a position with our government as a U.S. Federal Agent with our countries highest clearances until late 2003.  My last assignment with the government was in 2003 at the start of Operation Iraqi freedom.  I was in Nasiriyah, Iraq on the front lines.  I have since written two best selling books related to counterterrorism issues inside America.  During my time on active duty and as a civilian employee I suffered injuries that are well documented and I have Veterans disability for several injuries.

Throughout my military career I had severe teeth, jaw, gums, and other ailments related to this.  Again I have service connected ratings for these injuries and others.  During my years I also had been diagnosed with PTSD and have been obtaining treatment at our VHS for several years.

In late 2015 my dental rated injuries had risen to a level that I had been overridden with severe pain and infections in my jaw and teeth.  It was like having 30 awful toothaches at the same time.  Continuously for years I had requested the VHS to help me.  They refused and would not even give me medicine for the pain.  Finally in Nov 2015 I went to the Emergency room of VHS and begged for treatment because I was in severe pain and could no longer  tolerate it.  My face was swollen, my teeth and gums were severely infected, and I now suffered intolerable headaches.  The VHS did nothing and sent me home.  I am not a physician but even a child in the first grade could determine something was not right.  I immediately went to the emergency room of a local civilian hospital.  Within five minutes they realized I needed emergency treatment and as they said I was near death because of the out of control infections   I was immediately rushed to a trauma  hospital out of state (Duke University, NC).  I stayed several days and when I was getting better after surgery, I was sent to a hospital near my home in Roanoke, VA.  From Thanksgiving 2015 until Christmas I was in the hospital near death.  The infection had spread to my heart and my temperature was a constant 104 degrees.  Finally I was release but still in pain.

I immediately went to the VHS to see my physician (Dr. Gaylord).  He was sympathetic to the manner I had been treated by the VHS in regards to my teeth and infections which had occurred on active duty and documented on my DD 214 that upon my retirement  they had not corrected my dental issues.  The dental clinic at the VHS  still would not provide medical assistance for my teeth even after being in the hospital for a month.  Dr. Gaylord knew I was in pain and gave me a much needed pain medicine (hydrocodone).  Dr. Gaylord kept me on this pain medicine until he left for another department within VHS).  With the pain medicine the VHS mandates the patient and provider sign an opiate pain medicine contract.  Within the contract the patient has to agree to take the medicine as prescribed and mine was for as needed.  Since I had been prescribed this I had always taken when I was in severe pain and did not take if the pain was not severe (again per my prescription). This was the start of my continued nightmare with the VHS and Dr. Debra Mcginn (and her nurse and Resident Doctor).

The VHS never told me that Dr. Mcginn had replaced Dr. Gaylord.  I did not find out until I went to an appointment on 14 Feb 2017 and was told I had a new DR. (Mcginn).  I was expecting my new DR. who had suddenly appeared in my health part of my life to introduce herself and go over my years of medical records.  She did not.  Instead I was sent to her Resident Assistant Dr. in training (a young guy who could not go two minutes with me without running to Dr. Mcginns office for advise).  He seemed to be a poor chose to see a veteran with several disabilities and who did not know my past medical history.  On this date I had scheduled this appt. to be seen for a simple non emergency that had nothing to do with any form of pain.  This was a very very simple request for a medicine that was not even above the scale of vitamins.  Surprisingly I was eventually told by  this Resident and Dr. Mcginn who never even bothered to introduce herself to me to go to the lavatory for tests.  I asked what for and she told me it was for the minor reason I was there today and after the labs she would send my medication..  I was stunned. I could not figure out why lab tests were needed for such a simple ailment (again nothing was for pain).

I went immediately to the lab and was told I needed to give blood and urine.  It was getting stranger.  I gave all of my blood samples but could not urinate.  I had done so previously be fore I saw Dr. Mcginnis.  I eventually told the lab tech I could not urinate and since it was for a very simple medical issue I asked if I could come back.  She said it was fine.  From this point hell broke out in the VHS against me and instigated by Dr. Mcginn.   Finally on 21 Feb 2017, only a week later I went to the hospital to ask about my medications for the minor treatment and my pain medicine was up for refill.  I had arrived at the VHS at 0800 hours.  finally around 100 hours I was seen by Dr. Mcginns nurse.  I asked her about my medications.  She said Dr. Mcginn would no longer fill my pain medicine because I had refused a urine test for my pain medicine on 14 Feb 2017.  I was confused.  I said I had never been told about a urine drug test and I could not urinate and I had  told the lab tech.  I was shocked.  She said Dr. Mcginn had put in my records I had refused a drug test.  I told her I had never been told I was being sent for a drug test and again I had not refused, I just could not pee at the snap of their fingers!  I was very frustrated and felt betrayed by Dr. Mcginn and her staff.  The nurse was very very rude and treated me like a major narcotics offender.  After about two more hours the nurse told me to go to the lab for more tests.  I asked why, she would not tell me.  I tromped up to the lab for some unknown tests.  When I got there I told the lab tech Dr. Mcginn had sent me for more lab tests.  I asked her what the test was for.  She said it  was a urine sample for my pain medicine.  I was again stunned but not really surprised at Dr. Mcginns Gestapo tactics against me.  I was literally pissed off!  I gave the urine anyway by but only provide a small sample.

I then immediately went to the VHS patient advocates office to complain about Dr. Mcginns deceitful treatment of me.  Then I went back to the nurse.  She refused to hear my complaint about Dr. Mcginn.  She told me Dr. Mcginn would speak with me.  Finally I get to see my Doctor!!!  I knew she was only seeing me because  I had filed a complaint. When I went in Dr. Mcginn was all smiles.  Apparently she had forgotten or more correctly since I filed a complaint she wanted to appease me.  She said I had REFUSED a Drug urine test on 14 Feb 2017 and I had violated the Pain medication contract I had signed.  I tried to tell her I had not refused any tests, I simply could not urinate at that time.  Am I the first person who could not pee at the snap of a finger?  I emphasized she was also required to inform me and other vets if they were being sent to the lab for a drug test.  She said there was no requirement to do this.  I asked her repeatedly to review this contract and she will find out very clearly that a Dr. MUST inform the patient about drug urine or blood tests.  She barked at me that she does not need to do so.  She then told me I had FAILED the drug tests during the 17 months I had been on it.  I asked her how I failed because I have always used my medicines correctly to the tee.  She said I failed because on two occasions I did not have hydrocodone in my system.  I was now immune from being stunned.  I said you mean a patient fails the drug tests because even if their prescription says take as needed they still must have the med in their system?  She started mumbling and had no answer.  She said because of my failure to have no pain med in my system she was terminating me cold turkey!!!!  I thought, “God help other poor veterans who are going through tactics from alleged doctors but in reality were acting as narcotics officers!).

The day of this incident my stress and depression dramatically increased and I was sick to my stomach by the treatment of Dr. Mcginn and her staff.  I had to be seen at VHS mental health for the PTSD.  The treatment I have had at mental health for the PTSD has always been helpful, but the actions of Dr. Mcginn sent me rock bottom.  Again on 22 Feb 2017 the mental health doctor stabilized me to a degree that I could at least live with it.  He told me it was wrong that Dr. Mcginn had not informed me of the drug urine test and it is his opinion as a doctor that all actions affecting the patient should be discussed with the patient.  He advised he has seen more and more of this type treatment being used against patients and it concerned him.  I said it concerns me also.

A short message to other U.S. armed forces veterans:

  1. Understand you have a VHS mandated right to be told of any drug tests. The doctor is not given any option in this.  The doctor must inform you of a drug test, and you have the right to consent or not.  A doctor must inform you before hand of any tests outside of her office because it is and has been a medical ethical and lawful practice for centuries.
  2. Do not be intimidated by unprofessional treatment by Veterans Hospital personnel. Start with a complaint with your doctor, then patient advocacy, and then go right to your Congressman or Senator.  Also inform other veterans through the media.  If all else fails, then file a civil lawsuit as I have started and consider a trip to your local FBI office if you feel the VH staff have conducted criminal activities such as “falsifying your medical records”.  VH doctors can no more falsify and lie in your medeical records than they can in any other U.S. government record.  It is a crime for them to intentionally (doctor a document) to fit their untrue perspective.
  3. Consider lawful protests with other veterans at your local VH.
  4. Most importantly do not let VH personnel treat you as a useless human. Remember you have served your country by being willing to die for your country and other Americans.  Most of the VH doctors have never served in wartime and seem to care for their salary and playing narcotics officers than they do helping our young men and women.

I request all veterans and non veterans who care about our troops to complain to the VHS hospital for the unethical and criminal actions they have conducted against me.  The VHS number is 540-982-3463 and ask for Dr. Mcginn at Primary Care Group Clinic #2.   In addition please forward me any unfair or unethical treatment you may have received at a veteran hospital.  Veterans and their supporters must unite as one if we are to get the vet hospitals to provide positive treatment to the vets.

Keith Ellison: ‘Blacks don’t have an obligation’ to obey government

he Muslim Brotherhood-linked Keith Ellison, the first Muslim to be elected to Congress, also has past ties to the Nation of Islam — a black Islamic supremacist, anti-white, anti-gay, anti-Catholic and virulently anti-Semitic group. He conveniently denounced his involvement with the group when it suited him in 2006, after it became an issue during his first run for Congress.

It would seem that no matter how much hatred Ellison has spewed against the U.S. and Israel, his documented Islamic supremacist ties, and his facilitating of the crudest divisions in racial politics, he is still a trusted and influential Democratic leader, and likely soon to be the Chair of the DNC.

“Keith Ellison Once Said Black People Don’t Have ‘Obligation’ To Obey Government”, by Peter Hassan, The Daily Caller, February 23, 2017:

Democratic congressman and DNC chair front-runner Keith Ellison once said that “black people don’t live in a democracy” and “don’t have an obligation” to obey the government.

Ellison made the comments at a 1992 protest after white police officers were acquitted in the beating of Rodney King. At least 63 people died in the racially charged riots following the verdict.

Minnesota newspaper the Star Tribune quotes Ellison as telling a group of protesters in Minneapolis that “Black people do not live under a democracy.”

“You don’t have an obligation to obey a government that considers you to be less than human,” Ellison said.

Ellison, the nation’s first Muslim congressman, has come under fire for his history of making racially inflammatory comments, as well as his past association with notorious anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, whom Ellison has since renounced. (RELATED: Democratic Donor: Keith Ellison ‘Clearly An Anti-Semite’)

Ellison once called for American blacks to have their own nation and called the U.S. Constitution “best evidence of a white racist conspiracy to subjugate other peoples.”

While speaking to an atheist group in 2007, Ellison compared the Sept. 11 attacks to the Reichstag fire, stopping just short of accusing then-President George W. Bush of having a hand in the attacks.

“It’s almost like the Reichstag fire, kind of reminds me of that,” Ellison said of 9/11, according to reports at the time. “After the Reichstag was burned, they blamed the Communists for it, and it put the leader [Hitler] of that country in a position where he could basically have authority to do whatever he wanted.”

Ellison went on to say he wouldn’t suggest the U.S. had a hand in the attacks because “you know, that’s how they put you in the nut-ball box — dismiss you,” before later walking back his comments…
