John Boehner violating the Term Limits provision of the Ohio State Constitution

John Boehner is in Congress illegally, at least according to the Ohio Constitution.

Boehner has been in the U.S. Congress since 1991, after serving as an Ohio State Representative. Consider that Boehner has been serving since 1991 and that according to the U.S. Constitution, each representative’s term is two years before needing to be re-elected. Boehner has served over two decades and two dozen terms consecutively in office.

So, is there anything illegal about Boehner occupying the office of a federal representative that long? Yes, there is.

According to the Ohio State Constitution, Article V, Section 8

Term limits for U.S. senators and representatives
No person shall hold the office of United States Senator from Ohio for a period longer that two successive terms of six years. No person shall hold the office of United States Representative from Ohio for a period longer than four successive terms of two years. Terms shall be considered successive unless separated by a period of four or more years. Only terms beginning on or after January 1, 1993 shall be considered in determining an individual’s eligibility to hold office.

Tim Brown from Freedom Outpost reports:

So what’s the problem? As usual, the federal courts stepped in and overstepped their bounds. In 1995, the Supreme Court ruled in U.S. Term Limits, Inc. v. Thornton to uphold an Arkansas Supreme Court’s decision that struck down Arkansas’ term limit provisions of federal representatives. The vote was 5-4.

In what had to be one of the most un-American and tyrannical portions of the majority opinion, Justice John Paul Stevens wrote, “The right to choose representatives belongs not to the states, but to the people.” He then added that members of Congress “owe their allegiance to the people, and not to the states.”

Do you see that? The people are not considered the people of the states. This is so backwards it isn’t even funny.

Justice Clarence Thomas understood properly and rebutted the majority position writing, “The Federal Government’s powers are limited and enumerated… the ultimate source of the Constitution’s authority is the consent of the people of each individual state, not the consent of the undifferentiated people of the nation as a whole.”

Perhaps it is time for Republican Executive Committees (REC’s) across the great state of Ohio to start drawing up letters of censure against John Boehner for refusing to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States and for failing to uphold the policies, procedures and principles of the Republican Party and the State Constitution of Ohio.

Who said we can’t deport 11 million people — Remembering Operation Wetback

Unfortunately it is the man in charge of deporting illegal aliens in the country who has the defeatist attitude and he should be fired! What do you think those in DHS think when the man in charge says we can’t do the job? He is easy to spot with his head cocked back, staring down his nose and spewing condescending remarks. Is he really the best we can do in the way of having someone in charge of our safety and security?

Screen-Shot-2014-07-02-at-8.25.43-AM-1-300x180Somebody should relate to him the huge number deported back to Mexico in 1954 authorized by former President Eisenhower and with only 1,054 officers in what was known as OPERATION WETBACK! Those men certainly didn’t hear the general say we can’t do it! How many are employed today to do what the general did with 1,054 officers?

Has anybody taken the time to introduce the Secretary of DHS to a program called E-VERIFY that was promised by Congress in 1986 in order for all employed to be legal workers?

Secretary Johnson would be amazed if E-VERIFY were passed and enforced the lines heading out of the country would be as long as those ever were coming here by taking away the major magnet for illegal aliens and visa over stayers to be here. The reduction in costs to American Taxpayers would be dramatic as the burden to educate, medicate and incarcerate them would be diminished and it would jump start the economy as legal workers would replace illegal workers and the money earned here would be spent here.

By the way, is there currently a bill in either the House or Senate to implement mandatory E-Verify? I know the answer and SHAME ON YOU for saying you support American workers while not protecting them.

Netanyahu’s Profile in Courage

Regardless of your “political affiliation,” you must admit Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu made a firm case as to why President Obama and the United States has no business entering into negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran — then again, perhaps Iran is not Islamic.

Is there any debate that Iran is the number one state sponsor of Islamic terrorism? Is there any debate that Iran has extended its hegemonic designs in the Middle East — controlling four capitol cities, Baghdad, Sanaa, Damascus, and Beirut? Is there any debate that it is Iran leading an offensive operation to retake the city of Tikrit in Iraq? And this comes after what is now a massive embarrassment for the Obama administration and our USCENTCOM to have divulged that America working with the Iraqis will have to push back its plans to take Mosul to later in the year.

Is there any doubt that Iran has shown no change in its militant Islamic behavior and rhetoric? Iran is still the same country that overran our embassy and held Americans hostage — when a previous American president displayed weakness and paralysis.

This is the same Iran that worked through Hezbollah to slaughter nearly 250 Marines, Sailors, and Soldiers in Beirut. Iran continues to hold an American Pastor — Saeed Abedini — and we want to negotiate?

But according to our president — there was “nothing new” — and I must agree Mr. President, there is nothing new about Iran and its belligerence. As well, there is nothing new about President Obama who sadly — along with many members of the Democrat party — acted like a petulant child, angry because someone didn’t give in to him. For someone to tell the Prime Minister of Israel to go home showed a complete lack of regard, respect, and displayed unadulterated disdain.

Why? Why is the truth was so frustrating?

The supposed “deal” with Iran only lasts for ten years; afterwards, Iran is free to pursue its nuclear intentions — and if any of you don’t believe Iran has those designs, you’re as naïve as Sir Neville Chamberlain or his modern reincarnation, Barack Obama.

Or perhaps Obama isn’t naïve after all?

There is a contest in the Islamic world for the new hegemony. The traditional state that has filled that role has been Saudi Arabia where the most holy sites in Islam reside — Mecca and Medina. The challenger is the last Islamic empire, the Ottoman, Turkey, where President Recip Tayyip Erdogan has rejected the original secular Muslim state vision of Kemal Ataturk.

But the new kid on the block is not Sunni, but Shia: Iran. And as Prime Minister Netanyahu stated, “we can focus on ISIS and beating them, but if Iran develops a nuclear weapon, we will have won a battle but lost a war.” And it seems the Obama administration is more than happy to sit back and allow the Iranian Republican Guard and Shiite militias to fight ISIS.

You ask me why should you care?

Because in the end, as Netanyahu stated, “the enemy of my enemy is my enemy.” Shall we sit back and disregard our own security but more so abandon Israel and its survival?

And consider the growing anti-Semitism in Europe that is forcing Jewish communities to disappear. Who of you will look into the eyes of Elie Wiesel and not understand the meaning of the words, “Never again?” This is not about a little skirmish with no ramifications for the future of liberty and freedom – it is a seminal battle for the soul of Western civilization. That’s neither over the top, nor fear mongering hyperbole. It is the hard truth.

Yes, I hear the detractors: we are war weary and we don’t want to fight; this is just an example of foreign entanglements and President George Washington in his farewell speech warned against this. Something tells me General George Washington would not allow militant Islam — Sunni or Shiite — to thrive.

Do I have a strategy? Sure.

  1. First of all it is insanity to have vetoed the Keystone XL Pipeline. We should be developing our energy resources enabling us to keep prices minimal in order to spur on economic growth. Then we should be exporting excess energy resources so that Europe does not have to depend upon Iranian sources.
  2. Reinstitute the crippling economic sanctions against the Islamic regime — it was working, so why would Obama let up on the gas? In the military we had a saying, “Why do you kick a man when he’s down? Because he’s close to your foot.” We should have kept kicking Iran, not offering them a hand helping them up — they have a knife ready.
  3. We should form an alliance with Egypt, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, and the Kurdish Regional Government to defeat militant Islamic terrorism in the region. Arm the Kurds and promise them what they truly deserve and have always wanted — a sovereign homeland. A homeland that extends from northern Iran to Iraq to Syria. Enable them to be a bulwark against Iran, Turkey and Syria, while pressuring Hezbollah in Lebanon. Yes, this is an opportunity for leadership to reshape the Middle East into strong allies that can assist in defeating the jihadists.
  4. And we need to fully support our best ally, Israel, and support their play against the array of Islamic terrorist groups who wish their destruction.

President Obama is hiding something. There is no other reason why he has issued a veto threat to the Congress for any legislation requiring his approval from the legislative body on his Iranian deal. So it seems the only enemy Barack Obama sees is the American Congress — I forgot, it is GOP-controlled, but none of this is political, right?

I just want everyone reading this to ask yourselves a question. You saw Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech yesterday. You heard President Barack Obama’s response to his speech (and his State of the Union address).

I ask you which one is a leader who loves his country? Let me give you a hint — in ten years, Iran will be free to become a nuclear power because of a deal that one of those two men wants very badly.

Outgoing UN IPCC Chief reveals global warming ‘is my religion and my dharma’

Pachauri’s full resignation letter here.

Climate Depot’s Morano statement on Pachauri’s resignation: ‘The IPCC is quietly popping champagne corks today. Pachauri gone can only be good news for the UN IPCC’ – Marc Morano: ‘If Pachauri had any decency, he would have resigned in the wake of the Climategate scandal which broke in 2009. Climategate implicated the upper echelon of UN IPCC scientists in attempting to collude and craft a narrative on global warming while allowing no dissent. Or Pachauri could have resigned when he wished skeptics would rub asbestos on their faces or conceded that the IPCC was at the ‘beck and call’ of governments. There were so many opportunities to to the right thing and fade away. But it took the proceedings of the Indian court system over the allegations of sexual harassment to finally bring Pachauri down. Things can only be looking up for the UN IPCC now that it has ridded itself of this political and ethical cancer.’

When a scandal-plagued leader resigns because his alleged misdeeds are nuking his organization’s reputation, that is a mark of failure. Star Trek’s “Infinite Diversity” and the Endless Frontier

Spock understood the importance of innovation for life and prosperity by RICHARD LORENC …

Last Friday, millions of Star Trek fans were saddened by the news that Leonard Nimoy, the actor who played the iconic character Spock on the series, had died at the age of 83 after a brief hospitalization.

I was among the multitude on social media who paid tribute to Nimoy by posting pictures, sayings, videos, and eulogies in remembrance of the man who brought “Live long and prosper” to the world.

The classic Vulcan farewell is not the only thoughtful gift from Nimoy and Spock. Another idea shared by the quintessential Vulcan was his people’s concept of “Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations,” or IDIC.

IDIC was the Vulcans’ subdued, yet profound, appreciation for diversity. They wore pendants representing IDIC and posted it like a religious icon in their homes, temples, and starships. It became the de facto symbol of the Vulcans and their intensely logical ways. It was as if they were saying, “Difference is essential to the universe, and we’ve seen far less than actually exists. We’ll never see the end of it – and that’s a good thing.”

That idea didn’t always sit well with space cowboys Kirk and McCoy, who wanted more concrete answers. But then humans are illogical. What else could Spock expect?

Like Star Trek generally, IDIC had a big impact on me. It’s an idea that still motivates and delights me when I think of the possibilities for humanity today, and particularly the opportunities for difference and diversity offered by markets.

If you view the market process as one of discovery – discovering new ways to combine old ideas, and imagining how to apply those ideas in service to others – you can see how it begins to reveal IDIC. With nothing holding back individuals’ creative energies, there’s no telling what orders and ideas might emerge, and there’s no end in sight to the frontiers of social and economic innovation.

The next time you walk a city street and gawk at the skyscrapers, or wander a supermarket and marvel at fresh strawberries in the winter, or gaze through a glowing box to see friends across the planet, take a moment to remember IDIC. Because of it, for the first time in history, our species truly can “live long and prosper.”

It’s fascinating – but it’s only logical.

Dissociated Press

Associated Press (AP), one of the largest and most trusted sources of independent news gathering, reported “Israeli house strikes killed mostly civilians.” It reported 247 airstrikes (bombings) in Gaza during the summer of 2014, killing 840. Of that number, 508 (60%) were civilians, 96 (11%) were terrorists, and 240 (29%) remained uncharacterized. The failure to seek identification of the “uncharacterized” reveals a scheme to re-engineer the outcome, and a flawed count can only lead to a flawed conclusion.

AP professes a commitment to the highest standards of objective, accurate journalism over the past 165 years. It employs the latest technology to collect and distribute news and photos, with a 24-hour update process, and has one of the largest collections of historical and contemporary imagery. Headquartered in New York, it operates in more than 180 locations worldwide, including every US statehouse, and has won 51 Pulitzer Prizes since the prize’s establishment in 1917.

Regrettably, the wire services, which include AP, Reuters, and similar sources of news for broadcast, print media, and on-line news, are responsible for the blatant lies peddled and truths compromised when the original story opposes the Arab Muslim narratives. A recent example was an international wire service report that accused Israel of releasing water to deliberately flood the Gaza Valley, destroying houses and causing hundreds of Gazans to flee. When caught in this lie, Daily Mail apologized and clarified that there are no dams in southern Israel, that the flooding was caused by unusually heavy rain and drainage issues. Al Jazeera retracted its statements and the photos of rushing waters. Similarly, Reuters had been found guilty of switching photos or cropping photo edges, such as when they excluded weapons held by activists aboard the Mavi Marmara during the Gaza flotilla raid. This is serious treachery.

We have now learned that the 240 “uncharacterized” males were indeed terrorists (ages 16-59), changing the total from 96 to 336 terrorists (40%), not an unusual ratio of women and children to terrorists, as these poor victims are customarily used as human shields, whether alongside the rocket sites or within the buildings. Hamas often secretes rockets and explosives in residential homes, which certainly contributes to the civilian casualty count. AP never reports Israel’s warnings to civilians to evacuate residential areas, never cites Israel’s casualties, and never reveals that the strikes are always retaliatory for wars begun by the Arabs.

AP has repeatedly sought to discredit Israel by accusing her armed forces of conducting disproportional warfare against Palestinians, when no war or sport has ever been fought for an equal outcome. From 2001 to July 2014, Palestinians have conducted a war of terror, resulting in psychological trauma (PTSD) to more than 50% of the children and depression and miscarriages to adults, and using more sophisticated rockets (some containing white phosphorous) to reach larger cities. AP did not propose that Israel conduct a comparable rocket attack into Gaza for the sake of proportionality, or suggest Israel bomb Palestinian school buses, or advocate that Israel dig an equivalent number of terror tunnels leading to Palestinian children’s schools and dormitories when Hamas’s were discovered.

In an attempt to further paint Israel as the aggressor, AP incorporates “evidence” to accuse Israel of intentionally targeting civilians. Hence, it presented the fatality figures of 844 against the backdrop of 247 air strikes, an equation of 3.4 people per bombing when, in fact, Israel actually made 20,000 air strikes, thereby achieving a .04 fatality figure per bombing. These percentages verify that AP’s reporters script deceptive, damaging information and that Israel does its utmost to avoid civilian casualties. Israel’s record is in fact, unparalleled.

AP also failed to provide comparative analyses, such as how these numbers match up to other wars and air strikes conducted in urban areas. Withheld information is as dishonest and harmful as erroneous information. In fact, investigative journalist Richard Behar’s studies of conflicts since World War II show that the norm of fatalities is 85 to 90 percent civilian. We might well be reminded of Germans’ killing 28,000 civilians in the London Blitz; Allies’ killing 25,000 civilians when they bombed Dresden and destroyed the Nazi industrial center; our killing 130,000 civilians with our nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, which brought about Japan’s unconditional surrender and peace.

The United Nations’ figures cited at least 1,483 Gazan Palestinian civilians killed, with an overall death toll of 2,205, the balance being militants, with the source of information being Hamas-controlled Gazan Health Ministry. AP actually did have access to figures from a trustworthy, private research institute in Israel, Meir Amit Intelligence and Information Center, but chose not to avail itself of them – although they do sort through their information if they can contribute to a war crimes accusation against Israel.

Oddly, throughout the world, Imams spew hate and incite to kill from their mosque podiums. Muslims murder Jews and Christians because of their religion or, as with Charlie Hebdo, because of cartoons against their prophet. Muslims (Hamas) fire deadly rockets for (Israeli) territory. Muslims (ISIS) chop off people’s heads and burn others alive, and just kidnapped 90 Christians. Muslims (Boko Haram) kidnapped young girls for sexual slavery and buried some alive. Muslims (Chechens) beheaded Russian soldiers and attacked, kidnapped and killed children and school staff. Muslims appear to have reached the percentage at which they are now capable of conquest of the Nordic countries, and the natives are committing cultural suicide without a fight. And we know of this through AP. Yet AP continues its deception as well as its unparalleled accusations not against Muslims, but against Israel primarily.

Not only has Associated Press become known for its sloppy, dishonest and unreliable reporting, but it has also been accused of biased reporting on the Middle East by its own journalists. Indictments included story-lines showing Arabs and Palestinians to be entirely blameless and Israel fully culpable; refusing to print a 2008 Israeli peace proposal when it would have verified Israel’s desire for peace; and killing a story that would have shown Israel appropriately.

It is time these wire services were rewired to overhaul their failed policies, and return to responsible, honest journalism.

Netanyahu and Jewish Survival

In 1933, approximately 9.5 million Jews lived in Europe, representing 1.7% of the total European population which, in turn, was about 60% of the Jewish world population, estimated to have been 15.2 million.

By 1945, in the wake of the Holocaust, two out of every three Jews would be dead.

By 2012 the global Jewish population by had reached 13.75 million. That is less than 0.2 percent of the world’s population.

The Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics reported that 43% of the world’s Jewish community lives in Israel. Sharing Israel as their home were 1,636,600 Arabs and a diverse population of Christians and non-Jews, numbering around 318,000.

If the Iranians make good on their threat to “wipe Israel off the map”, presumably with nuclear weapons they would acquire by stealth and deception, the Jewish world population would be cut nearly in half.

AA - Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

All of this will be on Benjamin Netanyahu’s mind when, as the Prime Minister of Israel, he addresses a joint meeting of Congress. It will be his third such speech. On July 10, 1996, he said the world must act to prevent Iran’s nuclearization, since “the deadline for attaining this goal is getting extremely close.”

In 2011 he returned, saying “When I stood here, I spoke of the consequences of Iran developing nuclear weapons. Now time is running out. The hinge of history may soon turn, for the greatest danger of all could soon be upon us, a militant Islamic regime armed with nuclear weapons.”

So now it is 2015 and the only thing Netanyahu knows for sure is that the Iranians remain intent on being able to produce their own nuclear weapons.

The March 2nd edition of The Times of Israel reported that Yukiya Amano, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, said “Iran has yet to provide explanations that enable the agency to clarify two outstanding practical measures”, a diplomatic way of referring to “alleged explosive tests and other issues related to research that may also be useful for military uses of atomic energy.” This is the same problem that the U.N. agency has with North Korea.

Netanyahu was worried about Iran’s nuclear weapons program in 1996, in 2011, and now in 2015; more than enough time for Iran to have made considerable progress toward their goal. At the heart of this third address to Congress is the survival of nearly half of all the Jews in the world because they live in Israel.

It’s no secret there is no love-loss between Bibi Netanyahu and Barack Obama, but this third effort to urge Congress to go on record supporting the survival of Israel is necessary because, for the first time since 1948, there is some cause to wonder whether a war-weary U.S. would come to Israel’s defense.

Obama has said in no uncertain terms that he wants to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. However, the world has learned that the gap between what he says and what he does is often wide or non-existent. It must be said, however, that past Presidents have decried North Korea’s acquisition of nuclear weapons, but that has not translated into any direct action because China entered the Korean conflict in the 1950s to defend it and no one wants a repeat of that.

Netanyahu does not speak for “all Jews.” He speaks for Israel and other than national survival the political divisions there are even more diverse than our own. The fact that he is running for reelection there is not a factor for his speech to Congress—timing is.

One suspects that the best intelligence both Israel and the U.S. have been able to secure suggests that, this time, Iran is very close to its goal of being able to produce its own nuclear weapons despite the sanctions that have been imposed.

Netanyahu is understandably concerned about the negotiations that Obama has relentlessly pursued with Iran, the result of which has alienated not only Israel, but Saudi Arabia and all of the Gulf nations. The P5+1 parties to the negotiations include Russia, China, France, United Kingdom and Germany. The negotiations have deadlocked in the past and may do so again despite the fact that both Russia and China have close ties to Iran.

Even if Iran agrees to terms that would supposedly slow or stop its nuclear weapons program, there is not a scintilla of evidence that they would fulfill their promises. Iran, after all, is the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism worldwide.

The odds are that Netanyahu knows that Iran, this time, is very close to becoming militarily nuclear. Addressing Congress calls attention to the danger, not only domestically, but worldwide.

What Netanyahu also knows is that President Obama seems to have blind spot when it comes to the growing anti-Semitism that resembles what existed in the 1930s in Europe. When Jews in a French kosher supermarket were murdered, Obama referred to it as an act of “violent, vicious zealots who behead people or randomly shoot a bunch of folks in a deli in Paris.”

Whoa! It wasn’t “a bunch of folks.” They were Jews buying food for the Sabbath meal. And those “violent, vicious zealots” were Muslims, just like the ISIS Muslims beheading, crucifying, burning, kidnapping, and enslaving those they don’t kill for being Christian, Jewish, Yazidis, or just not Muslim enough!

Netanyahu’s speech will, indeed, be historic. It may not be his last visit to the chambers of Congress.

Take Away My Steak, Tax My Apple Pie Because DHHS Panel Thinks I Might Die?

Just when Americans are reeling from ObamaCare and a plethora of government regulations at work and at home, the Obama Administration has come up with a plan to ‘make us all healthier.’ The U.S. Health and Human Services Dept. recently released a report from ‘The Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee,’ (DGAC), which didn’t receive much attention from the press, but should have every American fuming and wondering when the line will be drawn for government encroachment into our lives. In this panel’s 571 page report are recommendations to tax sodas, desserts, (or anything sweet for that matter), promoting a plant-based diet, because meat consumption causes too many ‘greenhouse gas emissions.’ The DGAC has given the American public 45 days to offer their comments on this draconian, far-fetched ‘Big Brother’ plan. Here is my response.

The DGAG has suggested having ‘trained obesity interventionists’ at worksites and ‘electronic monitoring’ of our teenagers to determine how sedentary our population is because there could be a problem with too much TV viewing or computer overload. Can you imagine these ACORN type personas coming to your workplace, measuring your body fat and instructing your employer to get you off your swivel chair or he’ll be fined? What parent in his right mind would allow a government-type electronic monitoring of children in the home while they watch TV? Are they serious? Let’s not forget that electronic monitoring of our children has been tested in the school system and has received mass resistance.

Now many of us remember the Bureau of Land Management’s dislike for ranchers when the showdown occurred on the Bundy Ranch, and now we are witnessing another government agency advising us that we must cut back on meat because of ‘greenhouse gases’ and ‘carbon footprints.’ Perhaps these out-of-touch bureaucrats don’t even know that the struggling American Middle Class has already cut back on meat consumption because of high unemployment and rising food prices. Does anyone believe that the same government bureaucrats will stop eating their steaks or fillet mignons? Haven’t we learned from ObamaCare that regulations for the masses don’t necessarily apply to the bureaucrats who pass the laws?

Now concerning American’s love affair with sweets…how will the USG tax desserts and micro-manage our sweet tooth? Could first on the list to tax be Apple Pie, because…well…it’s too…. American? (Now if the government begins to tax tiramisu or baklava it could be considered very discriminatory; we don’t want to insult the Italians or Greeks!) Will restaurants be forced double tax for the apple pie a la mode; and what about the extremely decadent, caloric chocolate flourless cake? (Shouldn’t the bureaucrats reduce this tax because, after all, the flour has been taken out?)

Obama supporter, billionaire Warren Buffet, recently confessed that he ‘eats like a six year old’ and has a big bowl of chocolate chip ice cream for breakfast, and drinks at least five coca colas a day with canned potato stix. He has just broken the government narrative. Does anyone believe that the USG ‘interventionists’ will march into HIS executive suite and measure his body fat or monitor him at home while he salivates on his ice cream while HE’S watching TV?

The American public needs to stop this maniacal behavior of overreaching government bureaucrats who have nothing better to do that to sit around and plan ways to tax the Middle Class and micro-manage our eating habits. Do we really want the government in our workplace, in our kitchen and living room monitoring our behavior because it’s for our own good and wants us to be healthy, so that we can live longer and not die?

Newsmax’s Clumsy Attempt to Recognize Black History

Last month, in a clumsy attempt to recognize Black History Month, the influential conservative website Newsmax put out its list of the 100 Most Influential African-American Republicans.

To put it mildly, let’s just say that it was about as well received as a meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Obama—a total disaster.

The reporter who I assumed put the list together, Theodore Kettle, began with an ominous caveat: “not everyone on the list may be actually registered Republican. But these are individuals who have a public identity as Republican or ones who lean Republican.” What? Really?

This is akin to putting together a list of the top Republican presidents and then stating that not all on the list were Republican, but some governed like a Republican. Either you are Republican or you are not; if you are not a registered Republican then you can’t, by definition, be on the list.

Since I am making a few assumptions, let me make another one. I would put money on the likelihood that there were no Blacks involved in the writing or compiling of this list. Does Newsmax even have any Black reporters or writers on staff? Do they have any Blacks on their TV station? If so, who are they and what are their jobs?

I know personally about 90% of the people Newsmax has listed. Most of them have absolutely no influence within the party or even the Black community. Influence should be measured by impact, not by titles.

Most on the list are undeserving with maybe ten being deserving. I will give you a few examples from both groups below.

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is influential as a justice; but not as a Republican. He has absolutely no influence within the party. Former Pittsburgh Steeler footballer and N.F.L. Hall of Famer, Lynn Swann has no influence within the party, nor is he even actively engaged in the party. Former actress, Stacey Dash has no influence nor does she even possess any party credentials.

How have any of these above individuals impacted the party? How many internships have they helped students get? How many people have they helped get jobs? Name one thing they have done to directly impact the party in a way that advanced the party’s agenda or stated goals, especially relative to the Black community.

Juxtapose that with Colin Powell as secretary of state. One of the first things he did upon assuming his office was to allocate millions of dollars a year to Howard University to serve as his conduit for the other Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) to increase the number of Blacks in the ranks of the Foreign Service.

Talk show host and columnist, David Webb not only has a huge media platform; but he actively engages with the Black community, not separating himself from his own community. I know him on a personal level to be willing to open doors for others—whether it’s helping a college student with an internship or helping others who need a job.

Robert J. Brown, CEO of B & C Associates. He was one of the top aides to President Richard Nixon and one of the most under-utilized Republicans in the country. He is a walking history book for the Civil Rights Movement and has a rolodex second to none. I have known him for years and have adopted him as one of my sons.

Some of the more glaring omissions are: former Florida Lt. Governor, Jennifer Carroll (while in the state legislature, she passed several bills that helped minority firms in the state of Florida); it’s amazing that Newsmax lists her son, Nolan, Jr., a cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles, but not her. Nolan has never publically declared being a Republican.

Shannon Reeves is another glaring omission. He is a former RNC political staffer, lifetime member of the NAACP, entrepreneur and one of the best political minds in the country—Black or White, Democrat or Republican.

Finally, in most cases, when Republicans and conservatives list those they deem influential; they typically “mean” Blacks that they are comfortable with, not Blacks who actually have relationships within the Black community or bring value to the table, or Blacks who will chastise the party when necessary.

With few exceptions, Newsmax’s list definitely fits into this category. Isn’t also interesting that there is not one Black Republican listed who works for a Republican member of Congress? As I have written in previous columns, they tend to not want to be visible anyway, so it is their fault that no one recognizes their existence.

Wouldn’t it be better for an organization like Newsmax, who wants to celebrate Black History Month, if they had Blacks who actually worked for their organization? As I often say about Republicans and conservatives, many times they do the right things; but do it in the wrong way.

Justice for the Wultz Family and Other American Victims of Terrorism

You may have read Roger Cohen’s op-ed in the Sunday New York Times, “Did Israel put Money over Justice?”  Cohen recounts the dilemma facing Yekutiel “Tuly” and Sharon Wultz in Florida. They were confronted with the Israeli government denial of a deposition by a former Shin Bet agent in a New York federal court case. The case involves the laundering of Iranian funds through the Bank of China (BOC) to pay for the attack that mortally wounded their teen age son, Danny in Tel Aviv in April 2006. That testimony would be key to implementing a federal court determination of liability of the BOC in the attack that resulted in the death of Danny Wultz.

Cohen seeks to blame the impasse on Israeli PM Netanyahu, because the release of the former Shin Bet agent to provide testimony, previously approved by the Israeli government, was reversed in 2013.  Allegedly that was down so as not to jeopardize a burgeoning economic relationship between Israel and the People Republic of China. Cohen does not address whether the reversal by the Israeli government might have been attributable to Israel security echelon concerns that such testimony might reveal valued agents and networks monitoring Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists backed by Iran. The BOC wants to avoid the precedent in the Jordanian-based Arab Bank case decision involving 300 victims of the terrorist group, Hamas. That decision in September 2014 held a financial institution liable involving illicit banking relations with terrorist groups and financiers.

Daniel Wultz comes home to America.

Tuly Wultz is the father of the late Danny, who was mortally wounded by a Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) suicide bomber at a Tel Aviv Shawarma stand in April 2006.  The United West sponsored a presentation in March 2010 that heard from two fathers of terrorism victims.  Tuly Wultz, a former IDF special operations officer, and David Beamer, father of Todd, one of 9/11 passengers on Flight 93, discussed the emotional loss of their sons to terrorism. In Tuly’s case he tried to shield Danny from the blast, causing significant injuries to himself as well.  Tom Trento of the United West let me preview a video interview with both Tuly and Sharon (Cantor) Wultz at their home in Florida in 2008.  They had established a foundation in Danny’s name to inform people about Islamic terrorism that took the life of their son who succumbed to his injuries after a 27 day ordeal.  We chronicled the course of their federal case, Wultz v. Bank of China Ltd., 979 F. Supp. 2d 479 – 2013 brought by the Wultz family against the Bank of China (BOC). The case was brought to hold the BOC liable for laundering Iranian funds for the PIJ.  Those funds were used to pay for the attack and also provided compensation to the Palestinian terrorist’s family for the loss of their son, whom they venerated as a Shahid, martyr, for his heinous act.  The Israeli government held back testimony by a former Shin Bet agent, who could have provided testimony in a deposition in connection with the federal court award in excess of $330 million as compensation. See: Florida family’s Anti-Terrorism case: Israeli intelligence expert barred from testifying in U.S. – Watchdog Wire – Florida.

Cohen uses the plight of the Wultzs as a thinly veiled attack on Israel PM Netanyahu. He tried to make the connection between the latter’s opening to China for economic reasons allegedly blocking ‘justice’ in the Wultz case.  Based on the BOC counsel replies in the Wultz case, and given the Arab Bank case decision, the evidence from the former Shin Bet agent could be material.  Unfortunately, we find this NYT Op Ed column by Cohen to be exploitative of the Wultz’s predicament.  We also want to see justice done.  But not at the expense of partisan politics conveyed by Cohen and comments from Democrat National Committee head, Rep. Deborah Wasserman Schultz. It is not lost on us that this NYT op ed was published, the weekend prior to  PM  Netanyahu’s looming speech before a Joint Session of Congress on March 3rd. That is the day before the Jewish festival of Purim, laden with ancient Persian existential threats to Jews. What to do about it?

The Wultz case was brought under the provisions of the Anti-Terrorism Act of 1990 affording the rights of American victims like Danny Wultz and others to file cases in US courts. That law formed the legal basis for the recent decision by New York Federal court Judge George B. Daniels in a $218 million award that established the liability of both the Palestinian Authority and the PLO. That case was brought by the Israel Law Center (Shurat Ha Din and the US law firm of Arnold and Porter) on behalf of a group of 33 Americans killed or severely injured during the Second Intifada, over the period from 2002 to 2004. See: Landmark Victory In New York Federal Court for U.S. Victims of Palestinian Terror.  Then there was the Iran 9/11 Links case in 2011 brought by a widow and the families of  9/11 victims, Fiona Havlish et al., v. Sheik Usamah bin-Muhammad bin-Laden et al..  See: Federal Judge to Rule On Iran Involvement with 9/11 Attack. Judge B. Daniels also presided in the Havlish case decision and award against Iran.

We would suggest the following approach might be considered to achieve justice in the Wultz matter.  The proposal would be to obtain a ruling that would enable the former Shin Bet agent to be deposed to produce an evidential record, subject to court release.  It would also address the equitable division of liability between the BOC and the Islamic Republic of Iran to fund the award. The extent of the BOC liability would reflect the precedent of the Arab Bank decision currently under appeal before the US Second Circuit Court in Manhattan. Further, the proposed ruling might impound the equitable amount of an adjudicated economic payment to the Wultz’s from Iranian assets retained by the Office of Foreign Asset Control of The Treasury under US sanctions against Iran’s nuclear program.

That possible solution might have a derivative benefit. It could also set a precedent  for the Havlish, et. al.  matter, as well. We might possibly see amicus filings by the counsel in the Havlish matter.  The Wultz family has retained as counsel, nationally prominent litigation firm Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP.  Counsel for the Wultzs could make the proposed filings before federal Judge Shira Scheindlin in the Manhattan Federal Southern District Court along with a supporting  affidavit from the legal representatives of the State of Israel enabling the former Shin Bet agent to be deposed. That evidentiary record could be sealed by court order and released upon petition at a later date.  Only the Wultz counsel and the legal representatives of the State of Israel are best able to see whether this proposal has merit to render justice in this languishing case. If feasible, it might set a precedent for the Havlish, et.al. and other matters brought in US courts under the provisions of the Anti-Terrorism Act of 1990.

Tuly Wultz speech at AIPAC.

What is troubling about these cases brought under the Anti-Terrorism Act of 1990 is the lack of proactive efforts by the Justice and Treasury Departments. It is unseemly that victims like the Wultzs, the 9/11 families, the American victims of the Second Intifada and Hamas  are not supported in their pursuit of justice. Dr. Rich Swier, publisher of the eponymous e-magazine, who has also met Tuly Wultz said:

The Wultz family deserves justice and closure. The U.S. government must act to protect its citizens from attack, but once that attack takes place, everything must be done to bring the terrorists to justice and provide recompense to the family. While Tully’s son Daniel cannot be replaced, this case can add enormously to the non-profit established in Daniel’s name to help others. Justice cannot be served until Iran is punished, monetarily, for its crime against the Wultzs and so many others.

Train of Thought

Of the many kinds of trains exhibited in Birmingham’s Wonderful World of Trains and Planes, in Birmingham, England, the only display in dispute was the model train set of Auschwitz,  noted the Daily Mail.  The photos included in the column certainly verify that the set was painstakingly designed to provide authenticity, was sufficiently informative, and respectfully and tastefully executed.  Although I have visited Auschwitz, I have seen an authentic and replicas of boxcars in other museums, not to mention in newsreels, so I was dismayed to learn that only this one was considered objectionable.

One such objection came from a Holocaust survivor and while my heart goes out to him, this was an important teaching moment that would not be obtained in a classroom or home environment, and must not be obliterated from collective memory. It is not the presentation, but the Holocaust itself that is offensive.  The mass murder of millions of innocent men, women, and children is inconceivably offensive.  The obliteration of human beings by fascists – and now by Islamo-fascists – is severely offensive.  And last year, I was privileged to edit a book of Holocaust survivors’ memoirs that were immensely offensive, but surely not to be dismissed or disregarded.

The visitors from Birmingham and environs elected not to stay at home in front of the telly, or go to the park, or attend a sporting event.  Rather, they chose to visit a museum, to expand their horizons, to see and learn something new.  So, while I respect the wishes and painful memories of the dissenting gentleman and the parents who prefer to keep their children ignorant of this part of human history, this may well have been the last thing ever seen by about one-and-a-half-million children during World War II, and I believe there is much to be gained by viewing the display.

Taking this a step further, if the exhibit were of sailing vessels, I would expect to see crafts of all kinds – those that carried goods and those that carried human cargo, those designed for peacetime and those designed for wartime:

  • The dhow, the traditional sailing and trading vessel, c. 600 BC – 600 AD, invented by Chinese, Arabs or Indians;
  • The vessels of the Polynesians, who were the finest navigators of the time;
  • Ships of the explorers, Vikings, Vasco de Gama, Marco Polo, and Christopher Columbus;
  • Muslim slave ships that brought Africans to Europe and America;
  • The Barbary pirate ships, the menace that attacked ports, captured people for slavery, and plundered merchant ships.
  • The American Navy ships dispatched by President Thomas Jefferson to battle the Barbary pirates;
  • The Mississippi River boats and barges that transported slaves through the States;
  • The MS St. Louis, the German ocean liner noted for its 1939 voyage in which her captain, Gustav Schroder, tried to find homes for 915 Jewish refugees who were denied entry to Cuba, the US, and Canada;
  • The First Class, “unsinkable” Titanic luxury liner.
  • Samples of warships, trading vessels, aircraft carriers and submarines, and any other ships noteworthy through our human history.

There will always be those who find something offensive somewhere, particularly when it comes to the Holocaust and persons who would deny its very occurrence.  Nevertheless, the purpose of a museum exhibit is to teach, to engage the mind.  The exhibit has accomplished its mission admirably. I commend the curator and all the museum’s participants for their vision, their talents, and their courage.

Got Purpose?

“Light yourself on fire with passion and people will come from miles to watch you burn.” – John Wesley

In my prior professional career, one of the jobs I enjoyed the most was serving the company’s executive leadership as a 360°, leadership feedback coach. 360° feedback is a human resources tool in which employees and leaders receive confidential, anonymous performance feedback from direct reports, peers and management via a competency management tool incorporating the company’s preferred management competencies and leadership behaviors.

The feedback is then shared with the employee during a two and a half to three hour confidential coaching session. Coaching preparation is intense and includes analyzing and aligning both numerical and graphical data with unvarnished, sometimes brutal, written commentary.

Occasionally, I would prepare a report that portrayed an extraordinary leader. The more I analyzed the person the more excited I became to meet them. And when I finally came face-to-face with the individual behind the numbers and graphs, it didn’t take long to understand why the executive was revered as a powerhouse leader.

Time after time, what separated the truly superb leader from the good or even great leader was passion and purpose.

Powerhouse leaders have a passion for what they do, a passion for leading people and a clearly defined sense of purpose for who they are and where they are going. These are truly remarkable people. I saw that kind of passion and purpose this week in a young man who came to my home to prepare his company’s moving estimate. In the course of gathering information he shared that he was of Cuban descent and spoke about the loss of freedom he experienced in his early years while living in his native country. I wish you could have seen the intensity of expression when he described the freedom he gained when coming to America. He then asked me what I did. I told him about the FairTax®. He immediately got it, and quickly commented on how important it is that America understands the lost freedom inherent in taxing income. He then began to tell me about a book – and he insisted I read it. He also told me about the author’s freedom project and why it had ignited in him such an extraordinary passion; so much so that he committed to donating $100 per paycheck to buy more and more books so he could give them to people that he meets through his work.

Folks, that’s the power of passion! It’s a power so strong that it drove this young man to make a huge financial commitment for an advocacy project that he uniquely understands – individual freedom.

Imagine what could happen to the FairTax campaign if this movement experienced an explosion of passion and purpose – passion for accelerating the pace of the campaign’s progress, passion for driving a new awakening about what it means to have freedom from the tyranny of income taxation and the IRS, and passion for being a nation that has the courage to enact a tax plan that is fair and simple for all taxpayers – regardless of income, family size, marital status or political persuasion.

Have you found your FairTax purpose – your FairTax passion? As Bishop T.D. Jakes said, “If you can’t figure out your purpose, figure out your passion.  For your passion will lead you right into your purpose.” Is your purpose in serving as a grassroots volunteer – maybe telling people you meet about the FairTax, sharing Facebook posts, supporting local education efforts or joining Glen Terrell’s letters to the editor team? Is your passion seeing the FairTax campaign gain new cosponsors in Congress or in recruiting new AFFT 1040 Club members? Whatever your FairTax passion, whatever your FairTax purpose, bring it on! If you don’t know, I challenge you to jump in with both feet and begin exploring different opportunities.

You may be amazed at what happens next.

ISIS Vindicates the Humanities

The biggest threat to the Islamic State: knowledge of a world without them by SARAH SKWIRE…

Lately the US has been engaged in one of its periodic arguments about whether the arts and humanities are really that important.

Meanwhile, in Mosul, Iraq, ISIS has been using sledgehammers and power drills to smash 3,000-year-old works of art, and setting off bombs in the public library, destroying 10,000 books and over 700 rare manuscripts.

Maybe we can stop arguing now?

The enemies of modernity and tolerance and civility and liberty, and all the other values that classical liberals hold dear, believe that destroying the products of the arts and humanities will further their goals. They think the statues they are smashing to splinters and the words they are burning are important and influential enough to warrant their destruction.

This is not, it is worth noting, a radical innovation by ISIS. There is a long history of fundamentalist Islamic groups destroying cultural treasures. The Buddhas of Bamiyan. The “end of the world” gate in the ancient city of Timbuktu. Over 95 percent of ancient Mecca. Countless thousands of ancient manuscripts. Groups from ISIS to the Taliban to Wahabist Saudi clerics have made it clear: everything must be obliterated.

They claim, of course, that these things must be destroyed because they are idolatrous in themselves or might inspire idolatrous thinking in others. But I think it is far more likely that ISIS wants them destroyed because these objects prove the falseness of their version of history.

From the 8th to the 14th centuries, the flourishing, trading, creative, scientific, philosophic, artistic, and intellectual marvel that was the Islamic Golden Age produced a ringing argument against the ISIS narrative that their way—the way of extremism and the sword—is the only path to success.

Golden Age science, mathematics, and medicine were the envy of the world. The tolerance and intellectual curiosity modeled by thinkers like Al-Kindi, Al-Farabi, and Ibn Rushd created a civilization where, more than anywhere else, Muslims, Jews, and Christians were able to study, trade, and live in unprecedented peace and productivity. And this Golden Age died when people who would have been very much at home in ISIS began to gain power.

For ISIS to continue to spread their evil, they must destroy the history that gives evidence against them—by destroying the museums and libraries that protect it—just as they must destroy the living humans who fight them.

Are the arts and humanities important? Do they accomplish anything we should care about?

Look at those who want to destroy them. Consider what their ends are. Then tell me.

As Obama Gets His Way America is Losing Hers

Once, or actually much more than once Obama gets his way at America’s expense.  Recently, President Obama did not take long to veto the needed Keystone pipeline bill as he promised.  At the very least, the necessary pipeline would have created many hundreds of construction and permanent jobs. The needed supply of oil would have also contributed to our nation’s petroleum inventory. Also America’s position as an oil exporting nation would have been enhanced. Unfortunately, because of an ignorant based choice of American voters, our republic is now enduring perhaps the most anti American president in our nation’s history.  His biggest rival for most anti American president might be Woodrow Wilson. He supported the injurious Federal Reserve System we put up with today, along with the League of Nations and the promotion of harsh democrat party style racism. Wilson also supported a powerful centralized federal government.

I tried, but failed miserably to find at least one major decision or action that President Obama has taken that strongly benefits America. I even reached out to several Democrat Party supporters of Obama and requested that they please instruct me on any major policies of the president that has positively affected or strengthened America. (Crickets!!!!) HA! Even they were unable to even make anything up, let alone tell me something that Mr. Obama has actually done to benefit our nation.

It is amazing how certain people claim that those on the political left, especially politicians and professors are smarter than the rest of us. Thus when they secure even a modicum of authority, they use it to run roughshod over any law, anybody, or any tradition in order to inflict their progressive will upon the rest of us. The FCC decision to do to the internet what has been heaped upon the U.S. medical industry is evidence of that fact.

The Constitution clearly calls on the government to protect our republic from enemies both foreign and domestic. Yet the president has diligently worked to prevent border patrol agents from inhibiting law breaking illegal immigrants from strolling into our sovereign nation.  Why? Because they want to.  I thank God that the great state of Texas is leading a legal battle to restore the common sense practice of protecting our borders.  Speaking of protecting our Republic!  Dedicated muslim terrorist organizations, such as ISIS and Hezbollah along with enemy nations like Iran have vowed to destroy us and even kill president Obama. But what has he done?  For starters, Mr. Obama has appointed numerous America, Christian Black, and Jewish hating dedicated Muslims to important positions in our military and other federal government departments.

At the same time, thanks to the President’s anti U.S. military stance as well as drastic cutbacks in some weapons systems, navy vessels and maintenance.  America is now incapable of engaging two major wars or battles simultaneously. Both Russia and China are building up their massive armies and missile systems. Meanwhile, the United States continues to less than halfheartedly deal with dedicated Muslims who are on a mission to kill, steal from, and destroy America.

Because the progressives supposedly know more than the rest of us, they united with President Obama and saddled the rest of us with Obamacare. So now at the expense of personal choice and citizen government, certain medical procedures and overall rising costs, Mr. Obama got his way. For the sake of our Republic, I pray that President Obama and Congress will heed the advice of Presidential candidate, Dr. Ben Carson.  “As president, my plan to defeat radical Islamic terrorists would be to “destroy them first” instead of waiting to see what they will do to us and reacting to it.”

Thomas Jefferson understood that, as did General George Patton, and others who chose to govern America or deal with our enemies on behalf of our nations interests, as opposed to getting their way at America’s expense.

Obama’s Grand Plan?

On October 25, 2014, I published a column titled, “Barack Obama: Grand Caliph of Islam,” in which I conjectured that Obama’s long term career goal, after completing his second term in the Oval Office, may be to return to the land of his forefathers and, within a few short years, run for president of Kenya.  Although most Americans would expect Obama to do almost anything to establish his place in history, many readers scoffed at the suggestion, saying that it was illogical to even suggest that anyone would want to become president of a small East African country after serving two terms as president of the richest, most powerful nation on Earth.  But was that really so farfetched?  And what led me to arrive at that conclusion?  Let’s connect a few dots.

First, if we can take Obama at his word regarding his parentage, he was born on August 4, 1961, to an American mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, and Barack Obama, Sr., a citizen of British East Africa (Kenya), a British colony.  Thus, if Obama is to be believed, it is indisputable that he was born with dual U.S.-Kenyan citizenship.  However, after Kenya won its independence from Great Britain on December 12, 1963, the newly-adopted constitution failed to recognize permanent dual citizenship, requiring all those of dual nationality to decide by date-certain which country they wished to affiliate with.  And since there is no evidence that Obama has ever renounced the American portion of his dual citizenship, under Chapter VI, Section 97 of the 1963 constitution he automatically lost the Kenyan portion of his dual citizenship on August 4, 1984.

Understanding that Obama is a man motivated primarily by delusions of grandeur, it leads one to ask: how could such a man ever find happiness in any position in which he was not the center of attention, worshiped and adored by people around the world?  And what could he possibly do that would allow him to carve out a niche for himself in world history greater than the presidency of the United States?  Allow me to speculate once again that, after spending eight years in the White House attempting to “fundamentally transform” the greatest, most powerful nation on Earth, doing irreparable damage to our country in the process and earning the well-deserved title of “Worst President in American History,” it is entirely conceivable that he might wish to live out his years in Kenya where he is universally worshiped and adored.

Impossible you say?  Perhaps.  But I would argue that what I suggest is no more far-fetched than the notion that an inexperienced, pot-smoking, cocaine sniffing, red-diapered, black agitator from Chicago… a man whose only discernible talent is the ability to read someone else’s words from a teleprompter and make them sound convincing… could plan and implement a career path that would transport him from the leadership of a racially-oriented “community organizer” scam in Chicago to the presidency of the United States in just 12 short years.

When Obama leaves office in January 2017, he will be just 55 years, 6 months, and 16 days old, a relatively young man, but a man burdened by an acute case of narcissistic personality disorder.  The psychiatric division of the Mayo Clinic defines narcissistic personality disorder as “a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration.  Those with narcissistic personality disorder believe that they are superior to others and have little regard for other people’s feelings.  But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem, vulnerable to the slightest criticism.”

Some have argued that the presidency of Kenya is far too humble a position for Obama, a man who thinks only in the most grandiose terms.  In response, I would venture a guess that, given his popularity among black Africans and with Muslims around the world, his long term agenda would have him emigrating to Kenya, running for president, and then proceeding to unite all of sub-Saharan Africa and all of Muslim North Africa, into a single Islamic confederation… a massive Islamic caliphate with himself as Grand Caliph.

A man who hates the U.S. military as much as Obama does, yet finds no contradiction in thinking of himself as Commander-in-Chief of the largest and most lethal military force on earth, would have no problem seeing himself as the Grand Caliph of the entire Islamic world.  So what steps has he taken to turn his out-sized ambition into reality?

In spite of having lost his Kenyan citizenship in August 1984, Obama spent some $24 million in U.S. foreign aid funds during fiscal year 2010 in support of a “yes” vote on a revised Kenyan constitution.  So, one might ask, what possible interest could a U.S. president possibly have in rewriting the constitution of a small country in east Africa, unless it was a revision that would reinstate his dual US-Kenyan citizenship and make it possible for him to run for president of that country?

The people of Kenya approved their new constitution on Obama’s 49th birthday, August 4, 2010 (don’t you just hate it when that happens?).  Chapter 3, Section 14 of the revised constitution provides that, A person is a citizen by birth if on the day of the person’s birth, whether or not the person is born in Kenya, either the mother or father of the person is a citizen (of Kenya).  On that day, Barack Obama became a “citizen by birth,” of Kenya.  So, other than his successful effort to assist the people of Kenya in the adoption of a new constitution, what additional steps has he taken to turn his great ambition into a realistic possibility?

According to a February 21, 2015, article in WorldNetDaily (WND), Obama is spending an additional $250 million… courtesy of the American taxpayer… sending advisors to Kenya for the purpose of assisting in the “simultaneous expansion of healthcare services and the ongoing decentralization of the national government.”  WND quotes a document seeking to recruit  the right bureaucrat to implement this foreign aid boondoggle… the largest in sub-Saharan Africa and the seventh largest in the world… by repeating Obama’s longtime goal of establishing “a social healthcare system to enable equitable provision of health care to all Kenyan citizens.”

With the raging “success” of the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as “Obamacare,” it is only logical to assume that he would want to do for the people of Kenya exactly what he has done for (to?) the American people.  Where better to inflict the same sort of bureaucratic health care disaster than in an African country where he just happens to hold lifetime citizenship?

According to the plan, the successful candidate, working out of USAID’s Office of Population and Health in Nairobi, “will advise USAID/Kenya on all aspects of family planning (spending U.S. taxpayer dollars in support of abortion), maternal and child health, nutrition (an obvious ploy to introduce Kenyans to their future First Lady), tuberculosis, malaria, and HIV/AIDS.”

WND reports that, “The advisor will be tasked with finding solutions to obstacles Kenyans face in receiving health care, particularly ‘public sector maternity and primary health care services,’ which became free for Kenyans in June 2013.”  One can only assume that it is Obama’s way of using Kenya as a social laboratory… experimenting with a single-payer system and avoiding the need for health care “exchanges” that have made Obamacare such a nightmare for Americans.

According to the recruiting document, “An estimated 30 percent of people now receiving care in public facilities could afford to use private services if they had insurance.  Shifting them would allow the government to focus public sector resources on the poorest and most vulnerable citizens”… coincidentally, the very same poor, needy, and uneducated people whose allegiance Obama would need in his campaign for the presidency of Kenya.

But that only insures Obama’s election in Kenya.  Beyond that, what could he possibly have in mind that would insure his place in history?  Looking at a map of Africa, with some forty-six countries having significant Muslim populations, the total Muslim population of Africa in 2010 was estimated to be 435.24 million… thirty-six percent more people than the entire population of the United States… and is expected to grow to an unsustainable 539.08 million people by 2020 when Obama will have been out of office for just four years.

A February 17, 2015 report by Liberty Voice reminds us that, since 2009, the Nigerian terror group, Boko Haram, has murdered more than 5,000 Nigerians and has abducted more than 500 others: men, women, and children.  Included among those abducted are 276 teenage girls, aged 16-18, who were abducted from the town of Chibok in April 2014.  Of the 276 girls kidnapped, some 57 have escaped.  The remaining 219 remain captives of Boko Haram where they are raped, tortured, used as sexual barter, and sold into slavery.

Given the ability of terror groups such as ISIS and Boko Haram to spread terror among peace-loving peoples, it is easy to see how an entire continent, with well over a half billion Muslims, would be ripe for conquest and radicalization.  The only thing they lack is a charismatic leader, a man worshiped and adored by Muslims around the globe.

These are people who have no qualms whatsoever about raping, murdering, or burying children alive; depriving women of all human rights; beheading Christians, Jews, and apostate Muslims; or burning captive enemy fighters alive.  Nevertheless, it appears that no atrocity, no matter how unspeakable, is sufficient to cause Obama to identify the enemy for who he is.  Is it any wonder, then, that he steadfastly refuses to offend even the vilest of the vile, refusing to use the terms “Islamic terrorists” or “radical jihadists?”

Either his narcissistic personality disorder is so acute that he is simply indifferent to human suffering, or he is looking to the future when he will need the goodwill of every Muslim in Africa to insure his place as the single most powerful black man in recorded history?  So think about it.  It’s time to start connecting the dots.
