Israel Destroys Syrian Military Without a War

Amidst the chaos in Syria, and with grave doubts about what’s to come, despite the soothing assurances about protecting the rights of minorities that Ahmad al-Sharaa (a/k/a Mohamed al-Jolani) keeps issuing, the Jewish state worries that the instability in Syria could lead to a takeover of the country by jihadists, possibly led by other leaders in Hayat Tahrir al-Sham who do not share Al-Sharaa’s putative change of heart, or by leaders from other rebel factions.

Israel’s concern that the instability in Syria could spill over into its territory has led it to major action in the neighboring country, essentially opening an additional front in the multi-front war it has been engaged in for fourteen months.

Over the weekend, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) took control of the demilitarized buffer zone in Syria that was established as part of a 1974 cease-fire reached between the two hostile countries.

In that buffer zone is Mt. Hermon’s highest peak, the highest point on the east coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

“The territory guarantees strategic control over the whole southern Syrian arena, which generates an immediate threat to Israel,” Kobi Michael, a researcher at INSS and the Misgav Institute for National Security and Zionist Strategy, told The Media Line. “There is no higher vantage point than the Syrian part of the Golan.”

Power in Syria is now de-centralized, with the country fragmented between several groups, most of them extreme Islamist, potentially posing a new array of threats to Israel.

“Israel is not looking to apply sovereignty to the buffer zone, but rather to militarily control the area in order to prevent danger under conditions of instability,” Michael assessed….

The Israeli military swiftly entered Syria, apparently reaching deep into its territory and taking control of the peak of Mount Hermon, which allows for an advantageous view of both Syria and Lebanon. Reportedly, the army also conducted airstrikes in Syria against sites that stored unconventional weapons, air-defense systems, and navy vessels. Video on social media showed explosions in various cities and pictures of alleged Syrian Air Force bases destroyed.

“This is an unprecedented event in which the Israeli army has the ability to completely destroy an enemy army without a war,” said Michael. “This opportunity is being used wisely by Israel in order to ensure a better reality.”…

The IDF is not engaged in a war with Syria. It has no desire to conquer and permanently hold territory (Israel says its stay in the Syrian Golan is both “limited and temporary”), or to kill Syrians. Its only aim is to destroy military assets accumulated by the Assad regime, and that pose a potential threat to Israel. That is what Michael means by describing this as “the ability to completely destroy an enemy army without a war.”

“There is no way to tell where this is going,” said Michael. “Israel could be facing a difficult reality that will force it to stay and broaden its hold on territory, perhaps even act more forcefully in order to pre-empt danger.”

There is such great uncertainty as to who will emerge on top in Syria that the Israelis of necessity must assume the worst: a regime of jihadists who are intent on helping the Palestinians in Gaza and to “liberate Jerusalem” as well, which is what some HST members have just vowed to do on social media. Al-Jolani spent decades allied with Al-Qaeda and ISIS; how likely is it that he has had a conversion on the road to Damascus, and no longer sees himself as a jihadist? Israel can take no chances.

Meanwhile, the IAF keeps on keeping on, this week concentrating on the coastal area around Tartus. Possibly the IAF had been waiting until the Russians had left to strike this area. One of its bombs was so powerful that it has been described as an “earthquake bomb,” even measuring, according to a Turkish source, 3 on the Richter scale. Israel’s military, meanwhile, says it has laid waste to most of Assad’s heavy weapons and air defenses. The IDF said that it had “inflicted severe damage on Syria’s most strategic weapons: fighter jets and helicopters, Scud missiles, UAVs, cruise missiles, surface-to-sea precision-guided missiles, surface-to-air missiles, surface-to-surface missiles, radars, rockets, and more.”

And this has been accomplished not during a war, but proleptically, by stripping Syria of its weapons, so that it won’t be able for many years to launch or join a war against Israel or cause harm to its other neighbors. Keep it up, Israel. You are now close to turning Syria, which has been a promoter of violence at home and abroad for the past 54 years, into a demilitarized country, that can no longer do you, or the region, or the world, any harm. The world may denounce you, but that world will be a safer place.

Jared Kushner Reveals President Trump’s Vision: ‘Ten Countries Will Join the Abraham Accords After Saudi Arabia’

In an extensive interview, Jared Kushner, former senior advisor and son-in-law of President Donald Trump, discusses plans for a potential return of Trump to the White House and promises a dramatic expansion of the peace circle in the Middle East.

“The agreement with Saudi Arabia will be the key,” Kushner states, “because ten other countries will join right after it, including Pakistan and Indonesia. We had many countries eager to join.”

Kushner reveals that during the transition between administrations, he informed Biden’s team that an agreement with Saudi Arabia could be achieved within three to six months. However, he claims, “They wasted two years criticizing Saudi Arabia, and only then began to adopt our policies. They did so publicly and clumsily, failing to address the issues of Iran and the Palestinians properly.”

Kushner criticizes the Biden administration’s Iran policy, noting, “Under Obama, Iran was selling 2.6 million barrels of oil a day. By the time Trump left office, they were selling barely 100,000 barrels a day. The Biden administration stopped enforcing sanctions, allowing them to sell oil worth over $150 billion, which enabled them to refill their coffers.”

Regarding Iran’s current state, Kushner assesses, “Iran is weaker today than it has been in a long time. Hezbollah was the gun they aimed at Israel’s head, and Israel was the hostage. Now, they’re extremely paranoid because they don’t know how deep Israeli intelligence has penetrated them. From what I hear, it’s quite deep. In the recent action Israel took, they destroyed all of Iran’s air defense systems and much of their long-range missile production capability, meaning they can’t sustain a prolonged conflict.”

As Trump potentially prepares for a second term, Kushner outlines his vision for the region: “Our vision was to create one economic bloc linking the port of Haifa in Israel to Muscat in Oman, allowing people to trade, transfer technology, and invest in one another.”

Kushner describes the dramatic changes occurring in Gulf states and the immense potential of cooperation with Israel. “When I started working with Saudi Arabia in 2017, the situation was entirely different from what we see today,” he recalls. “The younger generation is really taking control. They are building, investing in technology, and genuinely want to pursue a different path than what was thought possible in the past.”

“Trump comes today with much more knowledge on the issues”

Kushner explains that these regions spend the highest percentages of GDP on military. “If they can convert that money into bridges and education, with their young population, it will lift the entire region.”

As Trump’s second term approaches, Kushner emphasizes the advantages: “Trump comes with much more knowledge about the issues. There won’t be a learning period like the first time. He has an amazing team of people in all areas of government.” He specifically mentions Steve White, the designated envoy to the Middle East: “I’ve been working closely with Steve for almost a year. He’s been a good friend for a long time, and I’m helping him prepare so that he and Trump can finish the work we started in the first term.”

When comparing the state of the Middle East when Trump took office to today, Kushner describes a dramatic picture: “When we entered, the Middle East was in complete chaos,” he recalls. “Syria was embroiled in a civil war with 500,000 dead, Assad was using chemical weapons against the opposition. Libya was unstable, Yemen was in turmoil. Iran had just signed the deal with Obama that flooded them with cash and put them on a path to nuclear weapons.”

Words Have Consequences: West Bank or Judea and Samaria?

When did it become an accepted truism that peace between Israel and the Arabs who call themselves Palestinians requires that Israel give to them its very own Biblical birthright in the Jewish ancestral heartland? When did the notorious Oslo Accords that inevitably morphed into the Oslo War supersede the eternal possession of the Jewish people to that God-given heartland of Judea and Samaria, the territory a hostile world insists on calling by its illegitimate Jordanian name, the West Bank?

Who are they who dare divide the land that the Almighty bequeathed to Abraham and to his descendants through Isaac and Jacob? Who are they who would give any part of tiny Eretz Yisrael (the Land of Israel) to the alleged descendants of Ishmael, who possess vast territories throughout the Middle East and North Africa?

Judeophobes (a.k.a. Anti-Semites) may not like being told this, but the following facts are truths that cannot shrivel away.

Unlike the deeply appreciated next incumbent of the White House, President Donald J. Trump, too many previous U.S. presidents displayed pro-Muslim Arab policies, which created clear and present dangers to the very existence of the reborn Jewish state. It is thus with the present Democrat president, Joe Biden. He, like his malign handlers, should take note of Genesis 12:3.

And then there was Barack Hussein Obama, whose Islamist sympathies and hatred of the Jewish state surpassed even that of the lamentable Jimmy Carter. Remember Obama’s Secretary of State, John Kerry? He came numerous times to pressure and threaten Israel, thus ushering in an even more baleful time for the embattled Jewish state.

The so-called Palestinian Authority was encouraged by Kerry and Obama to harden its demands to insufferable and arrogant levels. It required Israel to essentially commit national suicide. And how many times did we hear Mahmoud Abbas, the Holocaust-denying leader of the fraudulent Arabs who call themselves Palestinians, tell Kerry that the ‘Palestinian Arabs’ will never accept Israel? So much then for a delusional peace!

Kerry insisted, as he stood shoulder to shoulder with Abbas, that Israeli “settlements” are illegal. He deliberately used the pejorative term, “settlements” to demean and delegitimize Jewish villages and towns. The PA and the PLO, along with the Iranian-funded and supported Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza, were thus encouraged to initiate more criminal violence and murder against Israelis. The Kerry’s of this world have much to answer for as the Jewish death toll relentlessly mounted.

All these notions of “land for peace” and a “two-state solution” erode the millennial and inalienable rights of the Jewish people to their tiny land between the River Jordan and the Mediterranean Sea. But tragically too many Israeli left-wing politicians still allow themselves to believe in false Muslim promises (tekiyah) of peace. Do they not remember Jeremiah’s prophetic words? ”Peace, peace but there is no peace.”

Fifty-seven endless years have been squandered by Israeli leaders since the June 1967 Six Day defensive war against genocidal Arab aggression. This indefensible delay in liberating the Jewish heartland has emboldened a hostile world to demonize Jewish towns and villages in Judea and Samaria (aka the West Bank). Thus, these Jewish communities are delegitimized again and again with the use of the pejorative term: “settlements.”

Remember, there has never in all recorded history ever existed a sovereign, independent state called “Palestine.”

Jewish communities are not inhabited by alien “settlers.” The Jewish population of Judea and Samaria inhabit and redeem their own ancient and ancestral land. These men, women and children are not “settlers” in what is already theirs by virtue of millennial historical and spiritual attachment. Indeed, many present-day Jewish villages, especially throughout Judea and Samaria, are built upon the very Biblical Jewish sites which existed millennia ago. On the Golan, for instance, numerous sites abound where ancient synagogues existed some two thousand years ago.

I personally consider it anathema to describe Jewish communities in the Biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria with the odious term, “settlements.” For too many Israelis, as well as pro-Israelis, to continue calling them “settlements” without thinking is almost as if they have resigned themselves to demeaning their own ancestral and Biblical Jewish history. Words such as “settlements, settlers and occupied territories” are made from the aberrant terminology used by rank anti-Semites who peddle anti-Israel hatred. They should never be used by Israelis or defenders of the Jewish state.

Tragically, Judea and Samaria have still not been redeemed and brought into sovereign Israel. These lands are the very warp and woof, the very fabric and fiber of Jewish history, both during and since Biblical times. The endless delay by successive Israeli governments for fear of upsetting a hostile world is a betrayal of God’s eternal gift to His people.

As long ago as 2003, Professor Talia Einhorn wrote about Judea, Samaria, and Gaza, or as it is known by its Hebrew acronym, Yesha: meaning in Hebrew, Yehuda, Shomron, and Azza. Yehuda means Judea and Yahudim is the Hebrew word for Jews. Professor Einhorn added that, “in a sane world, that irrefutable connection should impress even the fraudulent Arabs who call themselves Palestinians. But, alas, this is anything but a rational world.”

Simply put: The Jewish people are not “settlers” on land that already belongs to them from time immemorial. And the indigenous Jewish people cannot be called “settlers” in their very own ancestral, Biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria — or in Azza (Gaza) for that matter.

Finally, the world — whether it likes it or not — must hear about the unassailable Jewish rights to the Land and not the fraudulent claims by Palestinians or from the rantings of miserable Judeophobes who infest the BDS movement, the media, and increasingly pollute college campuses.

Don’t make the job of the haters of Israel any easier. Help to honor the Jewish villagers and townsfolk living in their ancient and Biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria — often in great danger from Arab and Islamist terror — by rejecting the use of the hurtful and illegitimate terms; “settlers,” settlements and West Bank.”

Please dignify them with appropriate words to describe the villages and 2024  of Judea and Samaria. After all, words have consequences.

Saudi Man Allegedly Attacks Crowd With Car At Busy German Christmas Market

A Saudi man allegedly drove into a crowd at a Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany, on Friday, leaving several people on the ground motionless and at least two dead.

Footage of the attack shows a car speeding down the road into a large crowd of people attending the festival. Authorities arrested the suspect perpetrator, whom German state premier Reiner Haseloff confirmed at a press conference is a 50-year-old Saudi Arabian native who has worked in Germany as a doctor since 2006.

Government spokesperson Matthias Schuppe confirmed that the incident was an attack, WELT reported. Between 60 to 80 people have been injured in the attack, leading all hospitals to prepare for mass casualties.

At least two people, an adult and a child, were killed in the attack, Haseloff said at the press conference. He further stated that the perpetrator acted alone and there is no further threat.

Police said extensive operations and measures are underway at the scene.

The man in custody reportedly rented a car before the attack and drove at least 40 meters across the Christmas market, WELT, a German outlet, reported.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz warned “something bad is about to happen” and expressed his condolences to the victims and their families.

“The reports from Magdeburg suggest something bad is about to happen,” the chancellor said. “My thoughts are with the victims and their families. We stand by their side and by the side of the people of Magdeburg. My thanks go to the dedicated rescue workers in these anxious hours.”

German security services have previously feared an Islamic terror attack could be committed at Christmas markets throughout the country, with the nation’s domestic intelligence agency warning that these events are at a greater risk since they represent “Christian values.”

Eight years earlier, an Islamic terrorist drove a truck into a crowd at a Christmas market in Berlin on Dec. 19, 2016, killing 13 and injuring more than 70 victims, according to WELT. German police arrested two teenage Islamic state-linked suspects in November 2023 for plotting a bomb attack at a Christmas market at a city near Leverkusen, BBC News reported.

436 Church Attacks in 2023, Zero Prosecutions under the FACE Act, Notes House Hearing

The Biden-Harris administration did not prosecute a single one of the hundreds of attacks against churches that took place last year under a 1994 law designed to protect houses of worship, a congressional hearing established on Wednesday, citing research from Family Research Council. Even as violence and vandalism against churches and pro-life centers skyrocketed over the last two years, 92% of Biden administration cases using that law targeted pro-life advocates.

Those facts emerged Wednesday during a House Judiciary hearing about the implementation of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, signed by President Bill Clinton in 1994. The FACE Act explicitly punishes anyone who “intentionally damages or destroys the property of a place of religious worship” in 18 U.S. Code §248(a)(3), imposing a $10,000 fine and a jail sentence of up to six months for a first conviction. Each subsequent conviction can add $25,000 in fines and up to 18 months in prison for nonviolent protests, or up to 10 years if the defendant is convicted of causing any bodily injury.

“Since the start of the Biden-Harris administration until May 2024, the DOJ had brought a total of 24 FACE Act prosecutions against 55 defendants, with only two of these cases concerning attacks on pregnancy resource centers. To this day, the FACE Act has never been used in defense of a church since it was passed in 1994,” said the subcommittee chairman Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas). In all, 50 of the 55 defendants were pro-life, and the department obtained 34 convictions, according to data from the Biden Justice Department.

“Statues of Lady Justice show her wearing a blindfold, because it is not supposed to matter who is being judged, what they believe, or who they voted for. Unfortunately, over the last four years, the Biden-Harris administration has weaponized this act [through] disproportionately targeting pro-life Americans for FACE Act violations while simultaneously failing to protect pregnancy resource facilities, despite being the target of growing violence,” said Roy.

‘Those Who Hate Wisdom Love Death’

Although the law putatively covers churches, it has never been used to protect America’s first freedom as churches come increasingly under attack after the May 2022 leak of the Dobbs decision, which overturned Roe v. Wade.

“The Family Research Council identified 436 attacks on churches just in 2023,” testified Erin Hawley, senior counsel and vice president at the Alliance Defending Freedom. “Last year, Arielle Del Turco with the Family Research Council reported to this committee over 400 incidents of hostile acts directed at churches … including hundreds of acts of vandalism, dozens of arson attacks, and incidents involving guns or bomb threats.”

“There have been zero — zero — prosecutions under the FACE Act for that violence,” noted Hawley.

“Those who hate wisdom love death,” said Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-Wyo.), paraphrasing Proverbs 8:36. “And I think that’s what we’re dealing with here.”

Technically, the report — “Hostility Against Churches Is on the Rise in the United States | Analyzing Incidents from 2018-2023” by Del Turco — documented 436 church attacks during the first 11 months of 2023, a whopping 800% increase over six years.

FRC also documented 67 acts of violence or vandalism against pro-life pregnancy centers between the Dobbs decision leak and May 2023, 39 assaults against pro-life churches by October 2022, and 24 attacks on pro-life organizations by January 2023. Hawley cited some specific attacks:

  • On June 7, 2022, CompassCare’s office in Buffalo, New York, was firebombed and tagged with spray paint reading, “Jane was here.”
  • On June 10, 2022, the Gresham Pregnancy Resource Center in Gresham, Oregon was burned.
  • On June 25, 2022, Life Choices Free Pregnancy Services in Longmont, Colorado, was firebombed and spraypainted with the message, “if abortions aren’t safe, neither are you.”

Hawley cited numerous other hostile acts against pro-life women’s centers in her unabridged, written testimony.

Pregnancy resource centers make a “strange target,” since they’re giving away diapers and baby formula for free, noted Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-Calif.).

At the hearing, Hawley and her fellow witnesses detailed ways “the Biden administration has weaponized the [FACE] Act to target pro-life individuals,” said Hawley. “The Biden DOJ has upped the ante, placing pro-life Americans in as much jeopardy as possible.” Steve Crampton, senior counsel at the Thomas More Society, noted that the Biden administration has invoked the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871 “for the first time in our nation’s history” to accuse pro-life advocates of engaging in a “conspiracy against rights.”

The act increases the jail sentence for a nonviolent first violation from six months to more than 10 years in prison.

One of the people facing the barrel of a federal gun was pro-life advocate Paul Vaughn, arrested in 2022 for a pro-life demonstration in Tennessee. After Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-Pa.) invoked Project 2025, Vaughn replied, “I would like to tell you about the DOJ’s Project 2022. It happened on October 5, 2022, at approximately 7:15 in the morning, when my house was assaulted, my wife and children were terrorized, and I was kidnapped at gun point by four armed men.”

“Lethal force was abused to abridge my God-given and constitutionally secured rights. At the moment of being placed in handcuffs, I became a slave to ideological tyrants, either the ones holding the weapons or the ones they obeyed,” remembered a traumatized Vaughn. “The process is the punishment.”

“Government has been weaponized against We the People,” said Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), citing the similar arrest of pro-life advocate Mark Houck by heavily armed federal agents in front of his wife and seven children.

Reps. Scanlon and Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) held that the disparate enforcement of the law came about because pro-life advocates violate it more often. Yet one study found pro-life centers were 22 times more likely to be attacked than abortion facilities.

Despite that evidence, President Joe Biden formed the Reproductive Rights Task Force, led by Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta, in July 2022 to combat state pro-life protections and prosecute sidewalk counselors. “DOJ continues to robustly enforce the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act,” boasted a “fact sheet” from the White House Task Force on Reproductive Healthcare Access. Biden’s attorney general, Merrick Garland, stated last December that the entire department is “working to ensure that prosecutors across the country are equipped to bring FACE Act cases. And we have emphasized that Civil Rights Division attorneys are always available for consultation and technical assistance.”

Targeting peaceful pro-life Christians singing hymns in the lobby of an abortion facility seems unusual “in an atmosphere where we’re told police officers should deescalate” for violent criminals, noted outgoing Rep. Dan Bishop (R-N.C.). “That must stop, and I guarantee you they will stop in the next administration.”

“I can assure you, we will have justice back in America on January 20,” agreed Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-Texas).

When pro-abortion domestic terrorists are prosecuted, they tend to get lighter sentences than required by law. Judge William Conley, an Obama appointee, sentenced the man who confessed to firebombing the Wisconsin Family Action in May 2022, Hridindu Sankar Roychowdhury, to 7.5 years rather than the 20-year maximum sentence allowed by federal law.

“While we expect the incoming administration to end this horrific practice of the DOJ, that is not good enough. The American people deserve to know that their rights are not going to be abused no matter which administration is in power,” said Roy.

Roy: Repeal the FACE Act

Roy introduced the FACE Act Repeal Act of 2023 (H.R. 5577), which would apply to any FACE Act prosecution underway at the time of its passage, last September. The legislation currently has 47 cosponsors, including Reps. Jim Banks (R-Ind.), Chris Smith (R-N.J.), Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), and Greg Steube (R-Fla.).

Crampton noted that, since Roe v. Wade has been repealed, the FACE Act guards a non-existent right. “There is therefore no federal constitutional right to abortion, and the very reason for FACE’s existence no longer exists. Under the well-established doctrine of cessante ratione legis, cessat ipsa lex, ‘when the reason for a law ceases, the law itself ceases,’” he testified.

“Today’s hearing on the FACE Act should highlight how it has been repeatedly weaponized by corrupt bureaucrats and officials against peaceful pro-life advocates. The committee should call on their colleagues to abolish this federal law if it will continue to be unevenly applied by pro-abortion radicals in government to punish peaceful pro-life activists while attacks on pregnancy centers and churches continue unabated,” said Tommy Valentine, director of the Catholic Accountability Project at CatholicVote, in a statement emailed to The Washington Stand. “We hope that under President Trump’s watch, true impartiality and justice will be restored to our governing agencies, and the exploitation of governmental power which we have seen run rampant under the Biden administration will no longer be tolerated.”

Democrats Try to Tie Pro-Life Republicans to Violence

Democrats on the committee accused Republicans of stoking violence against abortionists by repealing the 1994 law.

“The motivation here is very clear: In repealing the FACE Act, they would invite every anti-abortion extremist to use violence, threats, intimidation, to block access to abortion nationwide,” said Scanlon. “They knowingly enable dangerous and hostile rhetoric … and ultimately, that makes them complicit in the consequences of those actions.”

“Anti-abortion extremists continue to use violence, threats, and disruption to curb access to abortion, so Republicans want to repeal the law that protects … from these ongoing threats,” claimed Nadler.

But the Thomas More Society holds that the act is unconstitutional and must be overturned on the grounds of sound jurisprudence.

‘Promises Made, Promises Kept’

Roy said the next administration “must act to reverse these wrongful imprisonments, reuniting families who have been collateral damage of this administration. The Trump administration should consider pardoning and commuting” the sentences of those wrongfully targeted.

President-elect Donald Trump has promised to pardon peaceful pro-life advocates and other “political prisoners” who have been convicted of FACE Act violations or similarly trumped-up federal charges. “I will appoint a special task force to rapidly review the cases of every political prisoner who’s been unjustly persecuted by the Biden administration … so that I can study the situation very quickly and sign their pardons or commutations on day one,” promised President Trump, who then sought the Republican presidential nomination, in his address to the 2023 Pray Vote Stand Summit. “Never again will the federal government be used to target religious believers.”

“I will govern by a simple motto: Promises made, promises kept,” said Trump in his 2024 victory speech.

“Unequal application of the law is not truly law; it is tyranny imposed on those [who] didn’t have the power by those who do have it. That’s contrary to everything we believe as Americans,” said Roy. The Democratic administration’s history of unequal prosecution and protection highlights the need for “permanent and fundamental reforms at the Department of Justice.”

Look no further than the grand accuser and the one who sits high and mighty in judgment of others. 

Earlier this week, Ukraine openly boasted of assassinating a top Russian general outside his home in Moscow.

Lt. General Igor Kirillov was killed when a bomb attached to a scooter was detonated remotely upon him leaving his apartment early in the morning. One of his assistants was also killed.

Russia on Tuesday criticized Ukraine’s Western allies, accusing them of being complicit in the general’s murder. It was easy to come to this conclusion after no one in any official capacity in Washington, London, Paris or Berlin condemned the killing.

Western politicians and media love to characterize Putin as a dictator of the worst sort, a “KGB thug.” I hear a lot of conservative pundits using this same language and I find it laughable in its hypocrisy.

When has Putin ever reached across the Atlantic and assassinated an American general on U.S. soil? I don’t recall ever reading of such an incident but, if I am having a senior moment, please, someone, refresh my memory.

Moscow’s foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova accused the West in a Telegram post of “approval for war crimes by fighters of the Kyiv regime” and said “all those who welcome terrorist attacks or deliberately hush them up are accomplices.”

This also hearkens back to past reports exposing a CIA program to train and assist Ukraine’s special forces and intelligence in sabotage and cross-border targeted assassinations.

Lest you think this is just a clever piece of Russian propaganda, think again. It’s been reported even by a prominent member of the American deep-state media.

Last year, The Washington Post published a report on how Ukraine’s intelligence services were capable of carrying out assassinations inside Russia thanks to support they have been receiving from the CIA since 2014.

Israel’s Anti-UNRWA Campaign is Working

The IDF has gathered evidence that proves that dozens of UNRWA staff members took part in the atrocities — rapes, tortures, mutilations, murders — carried out by Hamas on October 7, 2023. In addition, the IDF has gathered other evidence showing that more than 50 principals and senior staff at UNRWA schools and training centers in Gaza are members of Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Furthermore, UNRWA schools have been used to store weapons and hide combatants, all with the knowledge of the UNRWA staff. The main command-and-control center for Hamas was built directly under UNRWA’s headquarters in Gaza. Israel has disseminated this damning information on billboards in major cities around the world, and on social media of every kind. UNRWA wants to prevent Israel from disseminating the truth about its connections to Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. It calls the Israeli effort “disinformation,” but offers not a shred of evidence to support that claim.

So UNRWA is trying to pressure advertising companies to censor ads because they are “disinformation” and “hate speech.”

The Israeli information campaign must be effective, given the rage it has provoked in UNRWA. Using multiple media — from billboards to X (formerly Twitter) — the Israelis have provided the names and faces of UNRWA staff who are members of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. They have listed the UNRWA schools where Hamas weapons were found, and in some cases where Hamas fighters were hiding out, and from whose premises Hamas launched rockets into Israel. UNRWA is in a rage; it has labelled the evidence amassed by Israel as “hate speech” and “disinformation,” but has yet to provide a single example of either. Which means that the money spent on this campaign of truth-telling hasbarah should be expanded. At last the Israelis, whose hasbarah efforts were for decades deemed mediocre, and cause for alarm among the Jewish state’s supporters, have now learned to weaponize the truth. Late in the day, as Elder of Ziyon says, but better late than never.

One of the most bizarre media events happened in the last hours where Reuters reported that PM Netanyahu was secretly in Cairo for talks on the hostage deal. 

A number of media sites picked up the story and printed it. NEWSRAEL did NOT.

The report had FAKE NEWS written all over it!

Earlier on Tuesday afternoon, unnamed sources briefed on the matter told Reuters that Netanyahu was heading to Cairo, adding that a truce agreement with Hamas was expected to be signed in the coming days.

Amit Segel, one of the top journalists in Israel wrote on his Telegram account: “At the same time Reuters and others reported that Netanyahu is in Cairo, I knew 100% that he was NOT in Cairo.

The PMO subsequently put out a statement saying that the prime minister on Tuesday led a situational assessment on the border with Syria alongside Defense Minister Israel Katz, Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, IDF Northern Command head Maj. Gen. Ori Gordin and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) head Ronen Bar.

Saudi state TV station Al Arabiya cited an Egyptian source as also denying the Israeli prime minister’s presence in the country.

EXCLUSIVE: KIA, TJ Maxx Listed As Corporate Sponsors Of ‘Rainbow Library’ Pushing Trans Books To Kids

Retailer T.J. Maxx and automaker KIA are listed as co-sponsors of a program that distributes LGBTQ-themed books to K-12 schools across the U.S., according to a Wednesday report from conservative nonprofit Consumers’ Research obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The initiative, titled the Rainbow Library, is run by national LGBTQ+ activist organization the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), and sends participating teachers books that push transgenderism and homosexuality onto kids as young as five, Consumers’ Research found. Over 8,100 schools in 33 states nationwide participate in the program.

“T.J. Maxx and Kia are pushing radical gender ideology on kids through their sponsorship of the GLSEN Rainbow Library, which promotes transgender ideology in classrooms across the country through books and recommended lesson plans for teachers,” Will Hild, executive director of Consumers’ Research, said in a statement to the DCNF. “By sponsoring organizations with a political activist agenda like GLSEN and the Rainbow Library, these companies are putting woke politics ahead of their consumers.”

A spokesperson for Kia denied in a statement that the auto company sponsored Rainbow Library in 2023 or 2024, but did not respond to further inquiries about why it was prominently displayed as a sponsor on GLSEN’s website.

One book distributed by Rainbow Library, “When Aidan Becomes a Brother,” tells the story of a black girl who comes out as “transgender” and “explore[s] different ways of being a boy.” GLSEN recommends the story as part of its lesson plan for second graders, according to the Rainbow Library website.

A 2023 Pew Research Center study found that nearly 70% of black Americans believe gender is assigned at birth.

Another book, this time intended for first graders, is called “My Rainbow,” and depicts a mother constructing a rainbow wig for her young transgender child. Yet another, entitled “When We Love Someone, We Sing To Them,” is meant for third graders and tells the story of a young boy singing to another young boy in order to confess his love to him.

When teachers request books from the Rainbow Library, they also receive a toolkit telling them how to facilitate children coming out as transgender, with GLSEN educator Michael Rady stating in a 2021 video uncovered by the DCNF that “when a teacher or a librarian rolls out the Rainbow Library in their location, students start coming out to them… [be]cause they see that adult as someone that they can trust.” The program also instructs educators to keep it “confidential” if a student comes out to them until they can determine if the child is supported by the adults in their life, in an apparent reference to the child’s parents.

The nonprofit’s website sponsors page identifies Kia and T.J. Maxx parent corporation TJX companies, which also owns retailers Marshalls, HomeGoods and Sierra, as its 2023-2024 “national partners that help make Rainbow Library possible.”

Target came under fire in May 2023 for its partnership with GLSEN, donating at least $2.1 million to the nonprofit over a 10-year period. Later that month, the National Education Association — the U.S.’ largest teachers union — pledged its support for GLSEN.

TJX Companies participates in the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) Corporate Equality Index, which assesses corporations based on their commitment to LGBTQ+ activism. The Human Rights Campaign, meanwhile, champions pediatric sex changes.

Facing pressure from conservative activist Robby Starbuck, a variety of corporations have rolled back diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in recent months, including John Deere, Coors, Harley Davidson, Ford and Lowe’s.

Meanwhile, Republicans spent at least $215 million critiquing progressive “transgender” ideology during the 2024 election cycle, according to data from ad tracking firm AdImpact, with some Trump ads declaring, “Kamala is for they/them. President Trump is for you.”

“The recent Presidential election has indicated consumers do not want companies to continue to push radical left-wing ideology,” Hild told the DCNF in a statement. “There is a reckoning coming for companies who continue to put woke politicians and policies above consumers.”

Kia’s head of corporate communications, James Bell, denied the company had been a sponsor of the Rainbow Library in 2023 or 2024, despite the automaker being prominently displayed on the program’s sponsor page. When the DCNF sent multiple follow-up inquiries asking why Kia is listed as a “2023-2024 school year sponsor” if it did not sponsor the nonprofit in 2023 or 2024, Bell stopped responding.

Additionally, Bell’s initial response did not answer the majority of questions from the DCNF’s original inquiry, including when the company began funding the Rainbow Library and if the company supports pediatric sex change surgeries and hormonal treatments.

T.J. Maxx and GLSEN did not respond to the DCNF’s requests for comment.

I was recently inspired by something that happened in Poland. You see I am of Polish heritage. I watch a video of a Polish teacher explaining how they have changed their policies as a result of the Russian/Ukrainian War.

This move to restore patriotism struck me deeply. It remined me of another video that explains what I remember as a young boy in American public schools. I remember each day during the first period saying the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer while in elementary, middle and high school.

This video explains why it is important to have our students recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

The U.S. Department of Education’s “Guidance on Constitutionally Protected Prayer and Religious Expression in Public Elementary and Secondary Schools” states,

Section 8524(a) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act and codified at 20 U.S.C. § 7904(a), requires the Secretary to issue guidance to State educational agencies (SEAs), local educational agencies (LEAs), and the public on constitutionally protected prayer in public elementary and secondary schools. In addition, section 8524(b) requires that, as a condition of receiving ESEA funds, an LEA must certify in writing to its SEA that it has no policy that prevents, or otherwise denies participation in, constitutionally protected prayer in public schools as detailed in this updated guidance.

The FBI’s ‘Palestinian’

The FBI used to fight terrorists. Now it aids and abets them.

People recently noticed the FBI awarding a diploma to a student from ‘Palestine’.

A little digging turned up the fact that the FBI had been promoting the man in question, Husham Abu-Aisha, on its social media for a while as the epitome of all that it idealizes.

Husham is a member of the Palestinian Authority’s forces, which are essentially terrorist operations that also conduct some policing. A member of a terrorist group’s forces getting training at the FBI raises serious questions.

His social media shows that he had liked a video celebrating Saddam Hussein and his father appears to have been an associate of Arafat.

And the FBI seemed to have let him set up a table that entirely erased Israel and replaced it with an Islamic terror state.

The FBI used to fight terrorists. Now it seems to aid and abet them.

Sometimes when we are in the middle of things — whether in our personal life or on a national basis — we often lose sight about what is going on. The solution is almost always to step back to see things in perspective, and then apply Critical Thinking.

In our understandably unbridled optimism for the upcoming years, we need to keep patience, reality, and God in mind.

There are going to be numerous bumps in the road of our recovery — and they will be wildly exaggerated by the legacy media (who have been in the pothole-creating business for some time now). As long as we don’t get side-tracked by these temporary diversions, and keep on the right path, we will be fine.

PS — I’m not sure if Trump is aware of this superior video. If you have any connections with Trump to do that, please advise.

Historic change in the Golan Druze to Israel

Signs of a historic turning point in the position of the Druze in the Golan Heights towards the State of Israel. 

Recently, against the backdrop of what appears to be the disintegration of Syria and the rise of jihadists to power, there has been a surge in the number of Druze in the Golan who are seeking to enlist in the IDF, and about 200 of them are currently in various stages of the recruitment process.

This is a very significant number considering the size of the Druze community in the Golan – a little over 20,000 residents, concentrated in four main villages: Majdal Shams, Bukata, Masada and Ein al-Qiniya.

Since the Six-Day War in 1967, the vast majority of Druze in the Golan have hesitated to identify with the State of Israel, and have even demonstrated more than once their identification with Syria and the Assad regime. The main reason for this was the fear that one day Israel would return the Golan to Syria, and then the Alawite regime would come to terms with them (in addition, the Syrian regime purchased large quantities of apples from their orchards).

Until the 10/7 massacre, only a few members of the community enlisted in the IDF, and some would take off their uniforms before returning to their villages; since 10/7, there has been an increase in this trend, and in recent days, against the backdrop of the rise of Tahrir al-Sham – an organization that considers the Druze to be infidels, denounces them for their support of the Syrian regime and has repeatedly attacked the Druze villages in the Syrian Golan – there has been a surge in the number of those seeking to enlist.

At the same time, there has been a significant increase in the number of Druze from the Golan who are seeking to receive a blue ID card and become full Israeli citizens. Until now, they were entitled to this status, but the vast majority of them have chosen to remain as permanent residents, for the reasons mentioned above.

It seems that after decades of careful maneuvering between Syria and Israel, the Druze in the Golan Heights are beginning to choose sides and join their brothers in the Galilee, who long ago made a bloody alliance with the state.

NEWSRAEL: We must point out that there are 3 distinct groups of Druze in our region:

  1. The Druze in Israel who have always been supportive of the Jewish State.
  2. The Druze in the Golan Heights who were annexed by Israel after the six-day war in 1967 who until now stayed loyal to the Assad regime — who we are talking about in this news item and…
  3. The Druze in Southern Syria who were until now loyal to Assad and are also asking to become part of Israel. We could add…
  4. The Druze in Lebanon who are anti-Israel and loyal to their state of Lebanon.
