A New Candidate for Confiscator-in-Chief

Former Texas Congressman Robert Francis O’Rourke abandoned his run for President last week, once again leaving a void for the most strident anti-gun candidate seeking the Democrat nomination. Even before declaring his candidacy for President, California Representative Eric Swalwell raised the specter of banning AR-15s and similar firearms, forcing Americans to turn them in through a confiscation scheme mislabeled as a “mandatory buyback,” then “go[ing] after” resisters. He even famously “joked” about using nukes to enforce his scheme.

After Swalwell became the first candidate to bow out of the race when he failed to generate any noticeable poll numbers, O’Rourke stepped up to push the confiscation message.

Clearly, every Democrat that wants to run against Trump is anti-gun. The main difference among them, when it comes to semi-automatics, seems to be whether they want to ban their future production, ban them completely and confiscate them, or ban their future production and register those currently owned (presumably to make future confiscation easier).

Candidate O’Rourke staked out his strident position during the third Democrat Debate when he infamously declared, “Hell yes, we’re gonna take your AR-15, your AK47….” The former Congressman even seemed to double-down on his ban and confiscate scheme. He said during the fourth debate that if a gun owner doesn’t turn in a lawfully acquired firearm, “…then that weapon will be taken from them,” as well as suggesting they may face “other consequences from law enforcement.” He also told Joe Scarborough during an interview the day after the fourth debate that if someone did not turn over a banned semi-auto, “there would be a visit by law enforcement.”

Last week, an Iowa high school student confronted O’Rourke about his plan to ban AR-15s, the rifle the teen uses for hunting deer. The candidate feigned ignorance over the notion that people use the rifle for hunting deer, even though it is commonly used for taking such game.

Later in the week, at an event in Newtown, Conn., that was closed to the public and organized by groups promoting gun control, O’Rourke was again confronted. This time, a Newtown resident accused the candidate of trying to exploit the tragedy her town experienced to promote his anti-gun agenda.

O’Rourke must have finally seen the writing on the wall. He faced harsh criticism over his anti-gun extremism, even in what he may have thought would be “friendly” environments. He burned through an estimated $14 million in campaign funds, while poll after poll saw him stagnating in the low-to-mid single digits. And don’t forget he spent around $80 million last year to lose his U.S. Senate race against Senator Ted Cruz.

If he could not win a statewide race with that kind of money, what hope did he have of winning a national election?

Last Friday, the Texan answered that question when he pulled the plug on his latest campaign. But with O’Rourke now out of the race, will any Democrat candidate don the mantle of wannabe Confiscator in Chief?

On Monday’s episode of The View, while the cast was doing a postmortem on O’Rourke’s failed campaign, host Joy Behar chastised the former Texas Representative for revealing exactly what NRA has been saying for years is the ultimate goal of anti-gun extremists.

Perhaps as a warning to the remaining Democrat candidates, Behar stated, “They should not tell everything they’re going to do. If you are going to take people’s guns away, wait until you get elected and then take them away. Don’t tell them ahead of time.”

For a party that claims to support transparency, it seems odd to hear a Democrat like Behar offer such advice. Perhaps more concerning, however, would be to consider what else Democrat candidates for President might have in store for law-abiding gun owners that they do not want to publicly reveal until after next year’s election.

Of course, it is likely Behar’s advice will be followed. The top three candidates seeking the Democrat nomination seem to be set at Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, and former Vice President Joe Biden, while South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg has been showing signs of gaining some traction. All have rejected O’Rourke’s call for confiscation, at least openly, and at least for now.

But, with multiple sources now reporting that anti-gun billionaire Michael Bloomberg is once again considering throwing his name into the already crowded Democrat field, it’s likely that anti-gun extremists won’t have to wait long for a new champion of confiscation. After all, he’ll be the only candidate who can tout his experience as a firearm confiscator.

Republicans Must Counter the Radical Socialist Democrats

Why, when socialists endorse the same collectivist ideas that have always led to tyranny, should we listen?  And why is the Republican party so weak in retaliating against it?  As I’ve stated time and again, the majority of Republicans are part of the same cabal as the Democrats.

Long ago old right conservative Republicans cherished both the U.S. Constitution and traditional morality, but those times have changed.  Most conservatives were led astray more than half a century ago.  They were deceived, not by overt liberalism/socialism, but by counterfeit conservatism which promoted liberal causes.  Many of them now support abortion, drugs, homosexuality, pornography, policing the world’s nations, the flagrant spending of tax dollars that has exponentially increased our debt, open borders and more.  They are part of the same globalist establishment as their counterparts in the Democratic Party.

As such, many republican officials at the highest levels of our federal government and Department of Justice breached the trust of the people in an attempt to undermine Trump’s presidency and remove him from office.

“Resistance” Began Early

The “destroy Trump coup” developed in the first 24 hours after the 2016 election following weeks of sometimes violent protests.  The anti-Trump movement realized that simply shouting and causing public nuisance and property damage wasn’t getting them what they wanted.  It didn’t take long for the members of the left to find impeachment was the best vehicle for their coup to drive the president from office.

Roughly five weeks before the presidential inauguration, Vanity Fair published an article by Emily Jane Fox headlined “Democrats are Paving the Way to Impeach Donald Trump.” They focused on the family business, the D.C. Trump hotel and possible personal financial improprieties which now includes his tax records for years before his presidency.

By the day of the inauguration, January 20, 2017, the impeachment hunger was great enough that the Washington Post headlined Matea Gold’s article “The Campaign to Impeach President Trump Has Begun.”  All of this disappeared after a few weeks when the fraudulent “Russian collusion” began, but now it’s back in full evil glory.

Schiff and Impeachment

The Democratic Party, now headed by House Intelligence Committee member, Adam Schiff, is running the “impeach Trump show” regarding the President’s legitimate and constitutional phone call to a foreign nation’s leader.  Can there be a more despicable two-faced liar than Adam Schiff, whether publicly reciting a transcript that he falsifies or even his cynical exploitation of his Congressional District’s large population of 70,000 Armenian-American voters whom he manipulates annually?

Schiff purposefully lied to the public about what President Trump said in the released transcript of his conversation with Ukrainian President Zelensky.  Schiff read an entirely different Trump conversation to the American public in which he created a false narrative about what was said and later claimed his “pretend conversation by Trump with Zelensky” was just a parody.  This was no parody, and his false statements were purveyed to the American public by the right arm of the Democratic Socialists, the mainstream media and their flunkies.

The CIA traitorous whistleblower, who never listened to the President’s conversation is being sheltered and hidden by the Democratic Socialists.

Senator Rand Paul told Bret Baier that according to the Bill of Rights and the Constitution, the sixth amendment guarantees anyone accused of a crime gets to face their accuser in court.  And the Fraternal Order of Police claim Congress is violating “one of the most basic rights afforded to American citizens” as they attempt a coup by using impeachment to remove President Trump. Republicans Rise Up

Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) was the first to call out the attacks against our President by introducing a resolution to condemn and censor Rep. Adam Schiff.

Every House Republican signed onto Congressman Biggs’ resolution.  I was thrilled, and spoke with friends who all felt that Trump supporters wanted the Republicans to storm the secret meetings by Schiff being held in the basement and they did just that!  They all walked down to the basement and stormed an illegal and unconstitutional action by Schiff and his comrades who are still angry that their socialist candidate Hillary Clinton lost the election to outsider and populist American, Donald J. Trump.

Senator Rand Paul made us proud when he spoke at President Trump’s rally in Kentucky for pro-life Governor Matt Bevin.  Here’s what Senator Paul said,

President Trump has great courage, he faces down the fake media every day. But Congress needs to step up and have equal courage to defend the president.

Hunter Biden made $50K a month.  That’s the definition of corruption, and we know he got it only because of his family connections.

We also now know the name of the whistleblower.  The whistleblower needs to come before Congress as a material witness because he worked with Joe Biden at the same time Hunter Biden was getting money from corrupt oligarchs.  I say tonight to the media, do your job and print his name!

And I say this to my fellow colleagues in Congress, to every Republican in Washington, step up and subpoena Hunter Biden and subpoena the whistleblower!

And I say to my colleagues, if shifty Schiff will not let Hunter Biden come, and if he will not bring the whistleblower forward, every republican in congress should take a walk and say, “This is a farce.”

Trump supporters were pleased to see such actions, but more is needed to save the Republic from ultimate constitutional disaster and the continuous corruption by the Democratic Party.

Republican efforts are noted, but the recent elections spell trouble for 2020 as the Democrats are working overtime to make sure the country turns blue.

Kentucky Governor Bevin

Democratic money and dirty tricks were behind the recent election losses.  Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin was the only republican to lose in that state’s election.  Republicans won every other statewide race by a considerable margin.  Democrat Andy Beshear won the gubernatorial spot by a narrow margin of 4,000 votes.

Unfortunately, Governor Bevin was not only sabotaged by Libertarians, who won over 20,000 votes for candidate John Hicks, but by a failure of Republicans to vote for Bevin despite their straight line votes for every other Republican in the election. Governor Bevin was a strong pro-lifer, but it has been alleged that he was unpopular for a number of reasons.  People thought of him as a carpetbagger from Colorado and that he wasn’t really in tune with the culture of Kentucky.

Nevertheless, a look at the county-by-county map in Kentucky compared to an Electoral College map of the United States, looks like Bevin would have won Kentucky handily.  The blue liberal enclaves in the cities are where the democratic voter turnout was high and cost the Governor his second term.

Virginia Goes Blue

Former Attorney General Eric Holder has had his first electoral success for the democrats to dominate state legislatures.  They won both chambers of the legislature adding to the governor’s control.  After next year’s census, Virginia’s legislative district lines will be redrawn.  That redistricting will likely cement Democratic dominance for the next ten years.

Holder launched the National Democratic Redistricting Committee which is committed to the domination of electoral map-making through the courts and legislatures.  They’ve won with litigation changing maps they didn’t like.  They plan on doing the same in another 11 states next year.  Previously Republicans had done the same thing after Obama was elected in 2008.

Holder’s campaign is “sue to blue” and has yielded major gains for Democrats.  Judges appointed by Democrats actually helped by striking down previous Republican maps.

In Virginia, Democrats spent at least $54 million, outspending Republicans by $12 million.  Michael Bloomberg, Tom Steyer and George Soros and their organizations spent more than all outside Republican contributors combined.

Republicans must get involved in the state elections.  The Democrats are keeping them occupied with their unconstitutional impeachment inquiry against the President.  Holder and his gang intend to flip one chamber in each state, deadlocking Republicans and Democrats and throwing questions to the courts.  Republicans need to get state judges elected who refrain from meddling in the redistricting function which the U.S. Constitution assigns to the state legislatures.

Holder will face a harder task in Florida, Georgia and Texas, as Virginia was already trending blue, but the threat to the GOP is real.  If the Republicans don’t take up that challenge soon, they’re going to lose for another decade.  We certainly can’t afford that.

Soros has already launched a super pac for democrats according to paperwork filed with the Federal Election Commission.  He has seeded the 2020 campaign fund with $5.1 million.

Here is Open Secrets list of the individuals who have dipped deepest into their own pockets for campaign contributions to federal candidates, parties, political action committees, 527 organizations, and Carey committees. Only contributions to Democrats and Republicans or liberal and conservative outside groups are included in calculating the percentages the donor has given to either party.

Demonic Hatred

Yes, that’s what this is, demonic hatred not only of President Trump, and the fact that he was elected over the chosen corrupt Democratic candidate, but hatred of his supporters.  The attacks on this President have been endless, and here are just a few.

First was the spying by Obama’s henchmen and the creation of the phony dossier by Christopher Steele, paid for by the DNC and Hillary, then the immediate call for impeachment before Trump was even inaugurated.  In short order, the attack on General Michael Flynn by the partisan FBI agents successfully removed Trump’s perfect choice for National Security Advisor.

Ron Johnson, chairman of Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee made a study of Mr. Trump’s first 18 weeks in office.  He found the administration had faced 125 leaked stories, one leak each day containing information that is potentially damaging to national security.  Former FBI Director James Comey made sure before he was fired to leak confidential information and see to it that the Russia collusion hoax was started.

Rosenstein appointed Comey’s good friend, Robert Mueller to spend millions of tax dollars and over two years investigating our President knowing it was a criminal deception by the left.  Now we’re into the impeachment for a legal phone call to another head of state by President Trump.  Congressman Schiff is in charge of the impeachment inquiry circus to destroy President Trump’s chances of reelection in 2020.

Left and Right Join to Destroy Trump

Today we learned that former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, is claiming two former cabinet members tried to recruit her to help undermine the president. In a recent interview, Haley said former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly confronted her in a closed-door meeting to enlist her in opposing President Trump.  She told them to speak directly to the President.

Haley will detail the alleged meeting in her soon to be released memoir, “With All Due Respect.”

The Washington Examiner reports that a group of medical experts who claim President Trump’s mental health makes him dangerous and unfit for office is seeking to testify during House impeachment proceedings.

The group, comprising four psychiatrists, a clinical neuropsychologist, a neurologist, and an internist, are planning to announce their availability next week to members of Congress and the media. They’ll also be available to consult privately with members of Congress, with 2020 Democratic presidential candidates, or with members of Trump’s cabinet.

Conclusion

Can we win?  I don’t know, but we surely need strong conservative Republican warriors and as I see it, there are only a handful…

VIDEO: The Vortex — Preparing for War

TRANSCRIPT

We are in the last phase now of the studio’s physical layout being finalized, with the desks being put into place and wired and all the computers and so forth being hooked up and all that electronic business being put into place.

The staff moved over from our South building last Friday afternoon into their new digs here in the North building and got settled into their new spaces. What remains is getting all the lights in place and the somewhat daunting task of getting all the cabling for cameras and audio wired back to the control room.

We haven’t officially measured it, but it’s probably a safe bet that there’s a couple hundred yards or more of wires and cables and cords and strings and ropes; they are all over the place. We also beefed up the security of the website to a tremendous degree, as well as the technical specs and operation of our internal communications systems.

Church Militant is, in short, poised to become the most sophisticated media operation in the Catholic world.

And while this new studio space is all cool and exciting and so forth, the reason for it is not. There is a cultural and theological war taking place, and without overstating it, it is a fight for the moral survival of the race. This coming year on the political front — the U.S. presidential elections will be a bloodbath, as the extremely unlikely champion (mostly) of God and country battles forces hellbent on a redefinition of humanity.

We have built this Catholic media center to be the heartbeat of authentic Catholicism, which must, as its very charter, fight against this darkness. Our Blessed Lord did not establish His Church — and yes, it is His— to go along with the world, but to convert it and to bring it salvation.

But there are forces, dark forces, as we have well documented, at work in the Church to pervert Her divine mandate. They’ve been in place for centuries, but they reached a critical mass this last half-century, and now is the time to go on the offensive against them. That is the entire reason for this newly revamped facility — to go to war with these demons who make use of human agents to bring ruination to mankind.

Some of these forces within the Church enjoy much celebrity and command large followings. They are false prophets and must be denounced. Whether destruction of the Church is a conscious motivation of theirs or they are just useful idiots in Hell’s plan no longer matters. The destruction they bring about through malice or cowardice must be confronted and defeated. They are present in every aspect of the Church and the life of the Church — in the hierarchy, the universities, the chanceries, parishes and so forth.

And if you think this sounds all crazy, then you don’t have a sufficient enough understanding of the activity of the diabolical.

If you believe in God, specifically the Holy Trinity, you therefore must believe that Lucifer refused to serve and fell from the celestial realms forever, driven out by St. Michael and his legions. Satan now unleashed his fury on the only beings he can — us. And his mission, what consumes him, is to deny to humanity what is everlastingly denied to him.

For this reason, the Eternal Logos incarnated saves us from a fate we would otherwise be powerless to fight off. He established a Church, one Church, His own mystical body on earth as a refuge, a means, the means, to salvation — the only means.

So, of course, Satan would wage war against the Church — it is the path of escape from him — and he seeks to destroy it. Think of the Church as a tunnel out of a slave labor camp, the only escape, and the commandant of the camp knows about the tunnel. He will do anything in his power to shut off that escape route.

Of course, God is more powerful than Satan so he will never defeat the Church as She is in Herself. But he can still destroy individuals. The Church will always be with us as Christ has promised. It will never be defeated.

So the Church will always be with us, but the question of whether we individually will always be with the Church is still an open question. And if we die apart from the Church, we lose — forever.

So Satan does everything he can to weaken the Church, leaving no stone unturned. That includes, even in a special way because of its power to influence, the media. It’s why we chose this arena to stand and fight.

No one in the Catholic world does media like Church Militant does.

We begin and end every day with prayer, including the Rosary, because no baptized Catholic can be Catholic without prayer. It is the very first weapon we have because it is supernatural. We combat directly the errors so common and profound throughout the Church, especially in the realm of so-called Catholic media.

These include liberal reporters like John Allen of Crux, Christopher Lamb of The Tablet, Austen Ivereigh and loads of others. It also includes the even more dangerous spiritual terrorists like James Martin, Bishops John Stowe and Robert McElroy, and the really poisonous characters like Cdls. Blase Cupich, Joseph Tobin and Donald Wuerl. These men and their evil pronouncements and agendas are supported by, and advertised for, by untrustworthy and deceptive outfits and so-called journalists like the ones we named, and more.

They are all allied against the Church, attempting to present a different picture of Her true mission handed to Her by Christ Himself while He was personally present here on earth: the salvation of souls. They don’t believe that and have therefore disqualified themselves from being considered reliable. They are not.

The entire culture is at a crisis point precipitated by the crisis in the Church.

A hundred years ago, Communism understood that to create a world without God, where the state would become God, the Catholic Church would have to be destroyed. But where centuries of other attempts to destroy the Catholic Church had failed, Marxism decided to quietly invade and pervert from within.

We are here to draw the line in the sand. All good Catholics must now draw the line in the sand, and that begins with information, knowing the enemy and exposing his tactics, so the glories of the Faith may shine forth.

The whole reason for this extremely cool, all newly equipped and updated facility is to take the war to Satan and his deceptions.

When Our Lord said the gates of Hell would not prevail, that presents a picture of the Church attacking, not crouching down, hiding and cowering in some defensive posture.We have the Queen of Heaven, St. Michael, the truth of God Himself, all present in the Holy Catholic Church. It’s time for war.

Here’s a List of 100 Members of Congress Supporting CAIR

Ahead of the Council of American-Islamic Relations’ 25th Anniversary Gala event last Saturday, the Muslim Brotherhood-linked organization boasted that “120+” members of Congress had sent them letters of support.

We never saw those letters, however, thanks to Clarion reader Viola Rose, we were directed to a list of 100 members of Congress who voiced their support of CAIR in 2018. The list was published by the Investigative Project on Terrorism, along with the letters of support.

The list includes Democrat presidential candidates Cory Booker, Kamala Harris and Amy Klobuchar. Ninety-seven out of the 100 names on the list were Democrats; three were Republican.

CAIR’s gala event took place November 9, 2019, at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Washington, D.C., and featured Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and Islamist activist and sharia-apologist Linda Sarsour.

CAIR describes itself as “America’s largest Islamic civil liberties group,” but in 2007, the U.S. government labeled CAIR an unindicted co-conspirator in the trial of the Holy Land Foundation for financing the Hamas terrorist group.

In November 2014, CAIR was designated as a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates along with a host of other Muslim Brotherhood entities.

CAIR was listed among “individuals/entities who are/were members of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee and/or its organizations.” The Palestine Committee is a secret body set up to advance the Brotherhood/Hamas agenda in the U.S.

The FBI subsequently severed official contacts with the group, saying it “does not view CAIR as an appropriate liaison partner.”

Yet members of Congress – either ignorantly or intentionally — continue to endorse CAIR.

Entitlement Liabilities Are a Graver Threat to the Next Generation of Americans Than Climate Change

On January 31, 1940, Miss Ida Fuller received a check for $22.54. She was the first person to retire under the Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance (OASDI) scheme, better known as Social Security. At the time of her retirement in 1939, she had paid just $22 in Social Security taxes. Ms. Fuller lived to be 100, cashing over $20,000 worth of Social Security checks.

If she had only paid $22.54 in contributions, where did the $20,000 Ms. Fuller received in Social Security payouts come from? It came, as it does now, from the taxpayers of the day. As of 2019, your employer deducts 6.2 percent of your wages up to $132,900 a year, matches this amount, and sends it to the Social Security Administration (SSA). The SSA deposits this with the Treasury, which spends it and receives Treasury bonds in return. This is the fabled trust fund that guarantees Social Security.

But these Treasury bonds are simply IOUs redeemable against the income of tomorrow’s taxpayers. When one of the Treasury bonds held by the SSA falls due for payment, the Treasury can only get the funds to meet this liability by taxing, borrowing (taxing the taxpayers of tomorrow), or printing money (imposing an inflation tax). In each case, what really guarantees Social Security is not the money you paid in but the earnings of today’s or tomorrow’s taxpayers.

Such a pay-as-you-go scheme could chug along well enough as long as there were lots of workers relative to retirees. When the program began, every 100 workers were supporting three retirees.

This favorable ratio encouraged politicians to be more generous. Originally intended to cover only about 50 percent of all workers, Social Security was expanded even before Ida Fuller received her first check to provide benefits for dependents of retired workers and surviving dependents. In the post-war years, Social Security grew further. Disability benefits, payable as early as age 50, were added in 1956, and during the 1950s coverage was extended to other previously excluded workers, making it essentially universal. Congress passed across-the-board benefit increases of 7 percent (1965), 13 percent (1967), 15 percent (1969), 10 percent (1971), 20 percent (1972), and 11 percent (1974). In 1972, benefits were tied to the Consumer Price Index, yielding an annual “cost of living adjustment.”

In 1965, Medicare was signed into law, establishing a heavily subsidized federal health care program for the elderly. Former President Harry Truman and his wife received the first Medicare cards without paying a cent in Medicare taxes.

Like Social Security, Medicare is financed by a payroll tax of 2.9 percent split between employer and employee, up from 0.7 percent in 1966. Like Social Security, that money gets paid right out to meet current expenses, which were vastly expanded by passage of Medicare Part D in 2003. And like Social Security, such a pay-as-you-go scheme could chug along well enough as long as there were lots of workers relative to retirees.

Two things derailed that. US birth rates fell from births 3.65 births per woman in 1965 to 1.80 in 2016, and life expectancy rose from 68 in 1950 to 79 today. Together, this meant ever more retirees relative to the workers supporting them. By 2017, 100 workers were supporting 25 retirees.

These shifting demographics have shredded the solvency of the “trust funds.” Social Security is estimated to run out of reserves in 2034, after which benefits would have to be reduced by about 25 percent to keep spending within available annual revenue. Over 75 years, Social Security has an unfunded liability of $13.9 trillion.

The Medicare hospital insurance trust fund will run out of reserves in 2026. Medicare’s second trust fund, for physician and outpatient services and for prescription drugs, is permanently “solvent” because it has an unlimited call on the general fund of the Treasury—the incomes of future taxpayers. Premiums paid by the beneficiaries will cover only about 25 percent of program costs; the rest of the spending is unfinanced. Medicare’s overall unfunded liability over 75 years is more than $37 trillion.

The taxes levied to fund Social Security have already risen drastically. In 1937, the Social Security tax rate was one percent on earnings up to $3,000 ($53,449 in 2019 dollars) to be matched by the employer. By 1971 it was 4.6 percent on earnings up to $7,800 ($49,411 in 2019 dollars). It now stands at 6.2 percent up to $132,900.

This is only going to get worse. According to Census Bureau projections, by 2030 each 100 working-age Americans will be supporting 35 retirees, and this could rise to 42 by 2060. Another way to think of this is to calculate the number of retirees each worker must support. In 1946, the burden of one retiree was shared between 42 workers. Today, according to the SSA, roughly three workers cover each retiree’s Social Security and Medicare benefits. By 2030, however, there will be only two workers supporting each retiree.

In other words, a working couple will have to support not only themselves and their family but also someone outside the family thanks to Social Security and Medicare.

To make Social Security solvent again, the payroll tax rate would need to be hiked immediately from 12.4 percent to 15.2 percent, or Social Security benefits would need to be cut on a permanent basis by about 17 percent. According to economists Roger LeRoy Miller, Daniel K. Benjamin, and Douglass C. North:

[F]or Social Security and Medicare to stay as they are, the payroll tax rate may have to rise to 25 percent of wages over the next decade. And a payroll tax rate of 40 percent is not unlikely by the middle of the twenty-first century.

Teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg recently made international headlines with an impassioned speech to the United Nations in which she complained that her future had been stolen by inaction on climate change. An American Ms. Thunberg’s age could say the same about entitlement spending on Social Security and Medicare.

By the expanding eligibility for and hiking the benefits of a pay-as-you-go system while at the same time having fewer children to fund it, the generations preceding that child have left a fearsome financial obligation. Either taxes will go up sharply for the workers of tomorrow, lowering their standard of living, or benefits will go down for the retirees of tomorrow, lowering their standard of living. One group is going to feel pretty angry.

These problems were foreseen even as politicians were hiking payouts. In 1978, the economist Paul Samuelson wrote:

[O]ur Social Security system is also an actuarially unfunded system…there is no obligation for this generation to have children at the same rate as did previous generations. Therefore, when those born during the baby-boom period of the ‘50s reach retirement age in the next century, their stipends will be felt as more of a burden by the thinner ranks of the then working population

We are on the brink of inter-generational strife. We have the political shortsightedness of decades past to thank for that.

Are We There Yet?

When my children were still quite young, we regularly spent a week of our annual vacation with our families in St. Louis.  Needless to say, the 16-hour drive from our home on the Philadelphia Main Line was a long and tedious experience for our two young sons, who had to share the back seat with their little sister.  Invariably, when we had covered only about half the distance between Philadelphia and St. Louis, we began to hear the plaintive question, “Are we there yet?”

What brought that experience rushing back to mind was a July 12, 2016 column by David Brooks of the New York Times, titled, “Are We on the Path to National Ruin?”  In his column, Brooks wrote,

“I never really understood how fascism could have come to Europe, but I think I understand better now.  You start with some fundamental historical transformation, like the Great Depression or the shift to an information economy.  A certain number of people are dispossessed.  They lose identity, self-respect and hope.”

“They begin to base their sense of self-worth on their tribe, not their behavior.  They become mired in their resentments, spiraling deeper into the addiction of their own victimology.  They fall for politicians who lie about the source of their problems and about how they can surmount them.  Facts lose their meaning…”  Brooks concludes, “Once facts are unmoored, everything else is unmoored, too.  People who value humility and kindness in private life abandon those traits when they select leaders in the common sphere.  Hardened by a corrosive cynicism, they fall for morally deranged little showmen.  And then perhaps there’s a catalyzing event.”

As I read those words I couldn’t help but think that I have never read a more apt or a more devastating description of the Democratic Party, the wretched legacy it has created for itself, and the cancerous impact it has had on our American culture.  And what, I asked myself, could be the fearsome “catalyzing event” that Brooks foresaw?

Could it be the impeachment of a Republican president, brought up on spurious charges of having suggested a quid pro quo to the president of a corrupt Eastern European country, while doing nothing more than carrying out his obligation to see to it that the laws of the United States are faithfully enforced, and that former U.S. officials are not allowed to use their positions of power to enrich themselves and/or their family members?

Perhaps Brooks should take a brief holiday from his workplace in New York City and travel out across this great land to where the real American people live.  And when he’s traveled a day or two, he should take up temporary residence in a small town where he could commune with the residents in the coffee shops, the cafes, and in the town square.  Then, after several days of probing, he might develop some understanding of why those smelly Walmart shoppers, with their guns and their Bibles, were so concerned over the growing fascist influence in their country that they chose to elect a brash, uncouth, and inarticulate billionaire to head their government.

What Brooks foresaw in 2016 is now happening in Washington, DC, planned and implemented by truly evil men and women such as former CIA Director John Brennan, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, and hundreds of other co-conspirators and their socialist/communist fellow travelers.

Writing for The Jewish Voice in their October 30, 2019, edition, Caroline Glick describes the vast transformation that has occurred in the Democrat Party during the past two decades… a transformation that has made us a vastly different country than we were prior to the year 2000.  She writes:

“Until 2000, the peaceful transition of power in the wake of elections was a feature of American democracy that everyone took for granted.  In 2000, the Democrats shifted.  They refused to accept the election results in Florida that gave Bush his victory in the state… and through it, in the Electoral College… until the Supreme Court ruled that the results were legitimate.  Even afterwards, many Democrats considered Bush’s victory and his presidency illegitimate.”

As a member of the 2000 U.S. Electoral College, having been elected by Republican leaders in a statewide election, I was very much interested in the outcome of the electoral dilemma created by the extralegal interference of the Democrat-dominated Florida Supreme Court.

As I watched the angry mob of Gore-Lieberman demonstrators as they filled the streets outside the U.S. Supreme Court, demanding that the court allow the recount to proceed, I had just one thought:  Did those mindless demonstrators not understand that, when all is said and done, the only thing that stands between us and the barrel of a gun is the U.S. Supreme Court?  And when the court ruled in the only way they could… that to recount the votes in only the four most heavily Democrat counties in Florida was a clear violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the U.S. Constitution… Democrats charged that the Court majority was acting along partisan lines.

However, in the sixteen-year period that followed, the Democrat Party underwent a major radicalization.  As Glick describes it,

“The day after the (2016) election, Democrats coined a new term in American politics: ‘resistance.’  Until then, the side that lost a presidential election was the ‘opposition.’  But the Democrats don’t simply ‘oppose’ Trump, they ‘resist’ him.”

Glick continues,

“The distinction is profound.  An opponent recognizes the basic legitimacy of the person he opposes.  A resister does not.  The purpose of the anti-Trump resistance is not to offer an alternative path for governing.  It is to nullify Trump’s presidency by, among other things, delegitimizing and dehumanizing Trump, his family, his associates and supporters.  The resistance seeks to paralyze Trump’s presidency, to prevent him from wielding the power of office, and (to) oust him from that office as quickly as possible.”

With each new day producing yet another sordid chapter in the seemingly endless saga of Democratic Party criminality… best typified by the countless crimes of Bill and Hillary Clinton…  the party that was founded by Thomas Jefferson and James Madison in 1791 has become a lawless enterprise.  Jefferson and Madison could never have visualized the evolution of their party into a criminal conspiracy that consistently attacks constitutional principles and uses fraud, violence, and intimidation in order to win elections and maintain themselves in power.  Faced with the alternative of doing what is best for the country or doing what is best for their party, Democrats invariably choose to do what is best for their party.

In terms of ethics and morality, the Democratic Party has been in decline since the day it was founded.  As the party of slavery, secession, and segregation, Democrats supported the denial of basic human rights to an entire ethnic minority.  Following the Civil War and throughout the entire period of reconstruction, Democrats continued the denial of basic human rights through the enactment of Black Codes and Jim Crow laws.

Then, when the Brown v. Board of Education decision ushered in the civil rights era and Democrats found they could no longer lynch African Americans and white Republicans with impunity, they turned their attention to such things as plundering the rich, dumbing-down our children, murdering post-partum infants, desecrating the American flag, and promoting marriage between same-sex partners.  And when delegates to the 2000 Democratic National Convention booed a color guard of Eagle Scouts carrying the American flag, it was clear that they had sunk to an all-time low.

So, what is it that has caused Democrats to become so loathsome that they would seek to remove a sitting president by engaging in bold-faced lies and outright deception, denying the president and his Republican supporters the ability to cross examine his accusers and to subpoena their own witnesses… the most basic legal rights available in any court in the land?

The answer lies in the results of an October 2019 Pew Research survey which tells us that, in 2009, when Barack Obama entered the White House, 68% of white Democrats described themselves as Christians, 24% claimed no religious affiliation, and 7%  claimed to be members of other religious groups.  However, just ten years later, in 2019, after nearly a decade-long Muslim-friendly administration in the White House, only 47% of Democrats call themselves Christians, 42% claim no religious affiliation, and 10% are members of other religions.  Conversely, the same survey showed significantly different numbers among Republicans.  According to the Pew survey, 81% of white Republicans now describe themselves as Christians, 14% are unaffiliated, and just 4% are affiliated with non-Christian religious groups.

As Patrick Henry once said,

“Bad men cannot make good citizens.  It is when a people forget God that tyrants forge their chains.  A vitiated state of morals, a corrupted public conscience, is incompatible with freedom.  No free government, or the blessings of liberty, can be preserved to any people but by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality, and virtue; and by a frequent recurrence to fundamental principles.” (A.K.A. Conservatism)

So, when David Brooks asks, rhetorically, “Are we on the path to national ruin,” the answer is an unequivocal “yes.”  But Brooks goes on to suggest that this long and painful decline is followed by a “catalyzing event.”  Democrats have attempted to destroy Donald Trump by financing the preparation of a dossier of falsehoods; they’ve attempted to link his electoral success to a false charge of “Russian collusion;” and they’ve twisted a totally appropriate conversation with a foreign leader into grounds for impeachment.  In doing so, they have developed a level of hatred and discord among the American people such as we’ve not experienced since the Civil War.  Has fascism finally come to full bloom in America?  Could it be that history will judge the unjustified impeachment of Donald Trump to be the American version of Kristallnacht?  Occurring as it is on the 81st anniversary of Germany’s descent into fascism, is it too far-fetched to ask, “Are we there yet?”  And are the tyrants hard at work forging our chains?

The fake news media will have you believe that we are one step away from losing this battle and impeaching our President. Complete nonsense and just that, fake news. The media, a critical component of the deep state apparatus, along with the rest of the deep state, are panicking. They have lost virtually every battle and fraudulent fake attempts and coupe’s against President Trump and we the people. Donald Trump, told us, as a candidate in 2016, that we will begin to win again and so much so that we will get tired of winning. Well we are winning. We are winning “big league”. Let’s barely scratch the surface on this.

Last week, President Trump tweeted and stated that he caught the swamp and that we have it all, all the evidence. Have a listen to the President here.

The President went on to say that the deep state’s time is up. I have been talking about this for probably two years. Trump has all the goods on everyone. The NSA data collection. The IG II report and the FISA findings. NXIVM data, (The sex cult trafficking ring). The intel on Jeffrey Epstein and more. And of course, as I and many others knew from the onset, Epstein did not commit suicide. He was suicided. And this too has now come out with the coroner report. AG Barr has subpoenaed twenty prison workers for starters. Yes, my friends and fellow patriots, they, the deep state and it’s operatives here and abroad, are all going down. We are indeed winning.

The Big Preparation

The American people and the world are slowly and methodically being prepared for some rather disruptive uncomfortable truths. I have  been writing and speaking about this for quite some time now. As the President in the recent past has stated that these are sick people doing very bad and evil things. The rafters of the world are about to rattle. Their time is up. They have been caught. And very soon, it will be a cascading avalanche that comes down upon them, and they know it. Thus the final desperate attempts that you see before you. Just like Hillary Clinton stated way back when that if we take her down that we would bring all of Washington DC down with her. McCabe recently said the same thing. And in the e-mail to election rigger, FOX NEWS contributor Donna Brazile, as released by the innocent hero Julian Assange stated, that “If you don’t do something about that bastard we are all going to hang from nooses” or something of the sort. Well, get the rope. And yes the swamp will be drained.  GITMO tribunals are to be live streamed and remember the Federal death penalty has been reinstated by AG Barr. The federal courts are being re-benched. The stage is being set. Get ready. Get the popcorn for the show of a lifetime. What a truly amazing time to be alive!

What’s Next?

The deep state is going down my friends and this will be a cascading avalanche at some point in time and very soon I might add. They are all going down and this includes Soros, the Clinton’s and Obama’s, mark my words. This will go one for some years to come and already has begun. A hail of bullets rained down from the skies overhead, hitting the ground in front of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan. The rapid-fire artillery sounds filled my ears as I stood still underneath the small embassy awning.

Naively, I didn’t know that bullets fired into the air could travel up to a mile high. Then, depending on the angle they were fired at and their aerodynamics, anyone hit in the embassy courtyard would be dead.

Standing in front of the embassy, I could feel the tightness in my quadriceps from the fear.

“Teacher,” one of my Afghan workshop participants shouted to me, “don’t stand in front of the embassy! Get to the bomb shelter! We’re being attacked!”

It was lunchtime on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend in 2006. I was in Kabul for the third time, and it was my final day of the professional leadership development training I conducted before the holiday weekend.

Twenty-four Afghans successfully completed my two-week workshops. They were to receive a certificate of completion during a ceremony with an embassy official present.

To celebrate, we planned to have local cuisine together in an Army “hooch” (a temporary shelter), where the cuisine was served, have some cake, and play some Afghan music.

The successes of my previous two visits for training prompted the U.S. Embassy in Kabul to ask me to come back again to provide another series of workshops for the locally engaged staff, formerly referred to as “Foreign Service nationals.”

The workshops included basic and advanced communications skills training, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. I also offered professional one-on-one or small group coaching for Afghans who needed extra help with how to understand—and to get along with—their American diplomat bosses.

My days at the embassy compound started with a 7 a.m. breakfast. I went early to see our U.S. troops coming in to eat after staying out all night in the mountains fighting the Taliban.

The men, most of them no more than 19 to 21 years of age, were dusty-looking, with tired faces. After eating and a few hours of shut-eye, the troops went back to fighting.

Sometimes, we engaged in small talk about what was happening back in the U.S. With total respect, “Ma’am” seemed to be every other word spoken to me, as often as the words “please” and “thank you.”

These men made up the majority of the International Security Assistance Force of a NATO-led security mission in Afghanistan, established by the U.N. Security Council in December 2001 in response to the attacks on 9/11.

Afghan Allies With a Price on Their Heads

The Afghan men and women of the embassy and the U.S. Agency for International Development were considered traitors by the Taliban.

Each of my Afghan class participants who worked for the U.S. Embassy and USAID had bounties on their heads. Although they were the higher-paid Afghans working for our government, they exited the gates of the embassy’s sovereign U.S. soil at great risk that they could be killed.

To make matters worse, their families were added to the Taliban’s hit list as well. These men and women took a great chance believing in our country, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Afghanistan’s freedom and security.

Amid a pause in the gunfire, I quickly scurried across the courtyard to the tunnel that connected the U.S. Embassy to USAID and the living quarters. From a security perspective, it was built to sustain a significant mortar hit or a bomb blast. The tunnel was deep and wide enough to hold embassy and staff personnel.

When I entered, there was a young man in his early 20s barking out orders for a number of us to be quiet and listen.

He gave us commands on what we needed to do to, which included leaving the tunnel, which I originally entered for safety. In my mind, I exclaimed, “I don’t want to go back out into the line of fire again!”

However, since my life and the lives of embassy personnel and other contractors were at stake and completely dependent on our U.S. troops, we shook our heads in agreement and obeyed.

At that point, you could hear more activity going on until another lull in the gunfire. The young man, now accompanied by other fully armed troops, quickly led us out of the tunnel and into the embassy to safety.

Gurkha warriors from Nepal were our partners and helped to guard our embassy. They were short, stout, serious men who were extremely loyal to the United States.

The young commander told one of the Gurkhas that if he saw unknown activity on embassy property to shoot to kill—no questions asked. In response, the Gurkha saluted in agreement.

Inside the embassy, we were split up, according to security clearance. Then-Ambassador Ronald E. Neumann, appointed by then-President George W. Bush, spoke fluent Dari to the Afghan staff who were also protected inside the embassy.

For four hours, there was fighting. Fifteen Afghans who attacked the embassy were killed.

Before the cellphone lines became jammed, I was able to get one quick call out to my parents to tell them we were being attacked. (I think the shock of the information I shared with them didn’t register until much later.)

At the end of the fighting, I had a headache, felt lightheaded, and my body was limp, realizing what had just happened. I went to my hooch and fell asleep.

The next day was Saturday. I went to every service member I saw and felt compelled to thank them for saving us. I cried uncontrollably and could not keep a straight face. I also thanked the Gurkhas, who guarded the embassy doors, and cried again.

It was trauma I was experiencing, but it was also a gratefulness I couldn’t explain.

I was overcome realizing the sacrifice these troops make because they zealously believe in what it is to be an American, to protect and serve, and to risk (and possibly give) their lives for our freedom and to fight against evil terrorists.

My Small Show of Thanks

There are nearly 19 million military veterans alive today. They fought and served honorably. These true heroes and heroines must always be deeply appreciated for their service and the lives they were prepared to risk, all for the ideal of American freedom and democracy.

Last month, I ran in the Army Ten-Miler road race for the second time, beginning at the Pentagon. Just prior to the start of the race, and after the national anthem, Black Hawk helicopters flew overhead. They stayed with all 35,0000 of us runners along the route. We all knew we were in the safest place on the planet.

I come from a family of military heroes, and I still get choked up remembering my experience in Kabul and how those of us who were there would not be here today were it not for them.

Taking part in the Army Ten-Milers is my small way of thanking the troops I will never meet for what they do for our country, our world, and what they did for me personally.

One wonders what the long term effects of constant personal intimidation by protected groups are to Swedish police. Its likely that (similar to politics) fewer and fewer decent people will sign up. As the culture drills down to politics and then to policing, often skipping legislation altogether, so policing becomes both hopeless and thankless.

It is almost like the plan is to dismantle centuries of jurisprudence and rule of law based on individual rights and property rights and replace all enforcement with compliant ‘A Clockwork Orange’ type Dims, and eventually non-locals who have no allegiance to our history or ways of thinking. Almost like that.

VIDEO: The Vortex — Digging In. And they are going nowhere.

There is nothing on the table that isn’t being weaponized by the Left — and we are talking about the Left inside the Church who, for the record, really aren’t in the Church because they reject Church teaching on a variety of issues. And they are digging in.

Nonetheless, since they continue to portray themselves as “Catholic,” then they get to be treated as “Catholic,” meaning their propaganda should be exposed on a theological level for the garbage that it is.

One of the leading provocateurs in the lefty Catholic camp is Austen Ivereigh, British author who never misses a chance to foster dissent. For example, just before the infamous Sex Summit began in Rome last February, Ivereigh tweeted, “Why do you say our Lord had no homosexual tendencies? By what signs or gestures do you deduce this?”

He was in a Twitter war with Fr. Jacob Straub, who responded, “This is very scandalous and possibly a heresy. You need to remove this tweet and confess your sin. Lord, have mercy.”

And so it goes with the lefty Catholic crowd, so closely associated with the lefty political crowd so as to be indistinguishable.

Ivereigh, who used to write for the notorious leftist Catholic rag The Tablet, located in the U.K., really came onto the radar for publishing a book on Pope Francis, The Great Reformer: Francis and the Making of a Radical Pope, back in 2014, jumping on the bandwagon of Team Francis.

Ivereigh is happy to not just support the so-called reforms of Pope Francis, but he never loses an opportunity to slam other Catholic media who question those reforms. Anyone who questions the pope’s moves gets torn to pieces by Ivereigh and the rest of his gang (although many of those same men had no problem openly criticizing Pope Benedict or Pope John Paul).

Ivereigh, you might recall, is the same fellow at one of the first press conferences of the Amazon Synod who tried to portray the Pachamama statues (really idols) as Our Lady and St. Elizabeth — until he got contradicted by panelists, and eventually the pope himself, who called them Pachamama, not representations of Mary and Elizabeth.

But with this crowd, whatever helps push the narrative is all that matters.

A few days back, America Magazine, the flagship publication of the largely dissident Jesuit order, hosted a book launch party for him for his latest tome titled Wounded Shepherd: Pope Francis’ Struggle to Convert the Catholic Church. 

The use of the term “convert” in the title is more than a little telling. Of course, Ivereigh’s book has the full-throated endorsement of homoheretic James Martin, who never met a fellow traveler along the road to overthrowing the Church he hasn’t joined forces with.

Ivereigh and his crowd see this pontificate as a tool, perhaps a willing tool, to talk in generalities about Church teaching and downplay any specificity. So in his book and in his comments at the book launch, he talks about the need to stop talking about dogma or doctrine and start emphasizing personal experience in making moral judgments — meaning, at bottom, whether to commit sin or not.

Problem is Ivereigh and company don’t seem to either know or care anything about the actual concept of sin and its resultant consequence of damnation if a soul were to die in that state. But that doesn’t matter to these guys. They don’t really believe in the Church as She is actually constituted.

It’s much easier for them to think of and present the Church in terms of a giant multinational outfit, whose mission is to create some kind of utopia — Heaven on earth — as opposed to focusing on attaining actual Heaven.

To this end, any moral teaching, especially the ones on sexuality, are free to be passed over because those sins aren’t really sins, their rightness or wrongness being left up to the individual’s “personal experience.” But eat a piece of beef or contribute to so-called man-made climate change — and the fires of Hell await you.

Ivereigh straight up is a liar, who follows the agenda of the Left like the nice, little waterboy he is. For example, the uproar about the Pachamama idols prompted him to say that it grew out of EWTN-fueled panic that never asked indigenous people themselves about the “idols.”

That’s not even in the slightest imagination true. EWTN was not the first to report on the Pachamama. As far as we can tell, Church Militant was the first to identify the statues as symbols of Pachamama and demonstrate their connection to “Mother Earth,” or more specifically, “Earth Mother.”

For the record, it may not have been us, but if it wasn’t, we were certainly among the first, and it was not EWTN.

Secondly, the so-called “indigenous people” didn’t need to be asked specifically when the reports were first issued, because the very telling video moment of them bowing down to them on an earth blanket in the Vatican Gardens said a lot all on its own.

People don’t physically bow down to concepts. They bow down to representations of a concept.

And why didn’t Ivereigh go and ask the “indigenous people” swarming all over Rome, instead of sitting in the Vatican press hall getting shot down by the panel when saying the statues were of Our Lady and St. Elizabeth?

Where did he get his wrong idea? Certainly not from the “indigenous people,” because the statues are a symbol of Mother Earth and fertility and so forth, as they themselves — and the pope and the Vatican — have said.

There are so many ways to dissect the lefty Catholic crowd’s agenda and war on the truth that it’s actually easy. On the sex abuse crisis — proven time and again that its foundational cause is homosexuality, seeing as how four out of every five victims was a teenage boy — Ivereigh simply ignores that truth and says of that assertion: “This leads to terrible diagnoses, best example is their diagnosis of the sex abuse crisis by likes of Viganó and Cdls. Mueller and Burke.”

Of course, Ivereigh is demonstrably wrong, so much so that he seems to require more pity than correction.

In perhaps his most telling quote, demonizing anyone who supports Tradition in the Church (meaning clear doctrine), he says: “Everything is filtered through an ‘ideology of suspicion'” by a party that is trying to undermine him.

“This is a direct attack on his leadership” but “of course they don’t see it that way.” They say it is justified in the name of saving the Church, and in the “name of Tradition.”

Hey, Austen, have you looked around the Church these days? For the past half-century, in fact?

Of course, things have to be viewed in a suspicious manner, just like a fire chief looks at a four-alarm blaze in a suspicious manner, until the objective truth is arrived at. You and your carrying of the water for the Left must also be looked at suspiciously, and eventually denounced — yours and the rest of your elitist-minded “journalist” crowd.

You aren’t journalists. You are little else than mere stenographers for the Left, dutifully repeating their talking points because they excuse any sin you may enjoy. You desire nothing else than to keep the discussion of morality centered on earth as opposed to Heaven.

That is not what the Savior of the world desired. You might recall that loving God is the First Commandment; neighbor comes second. Heaven comes before earth on the priority list.

VIDEO: World’s biggest people smuggler busted in Brazil

The biggest human smuggler in the world, Saifullah Al Mamun, was arrested in a joint operation between the Brazilian Federal Police and the US Migration Agency.

Eight foreigners were arrested on Thursday (31) in an operation to combat smuggling of immigrants, en route to the United States. Research shows that the gang earned $ 10 million between 2014 and 2019.

Five citizens from Bangladesh and three from Pakistan were temporarily arrested. Among them, leader Saifullah Al Mamun, considered by the US government to be the world’s largest human trafficker. The gang was housed in São Paulo. Illegal migration to the United States was done through travel agencies for the purpose of laundering money. The criminal organization charged up to 10 thousand US$ per person to facilitate the migration.

Since November 2017, 84 people sent by the gang have been arrested on arrival in the United States. The Federal Police confirmed that 395 other migrants passed the Brazilian route with the same destination through two agencies in downtown São Paulo. The victims are mostly young people in their 30s.

Illegal immigrants departed from Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo, bound for Rio Branco, Acre. From there, they crossed the Peruvian border and drove by land to the Mexican border with the United States. Logistics were made in contact with members of the criminal organization in the countries involved.

The accused must be responsible for migrant smuggling crimes qualified by submission to inhuman and degrading conditions, money laundering and criminal organization.

Drudge Sells out Trump, helps Democrats. Check out Whatfinger News, founded by ex-Military

President Trump’s supporters are wondering why seemingly out of nowhere Matt Drudge has taken a sharp anti-Trump stance on his website, the Drudge Report.  They no longer trust him or anything he says.

Drudge used to break stories before the mainstream media or Fox News even knew about them; they went to Drudge to find out the latest.  Josh Bernstein recently exposed what has happened to Drudge.  He says we should boycott Drudge and I agree with him.

Drudge Sells Out to Establishment

In a surprising turn, Drudge Report removed ads between the end of May and mid-July of this year according to Danny Rogers, a cofounder of the Global Disinformation Index, a project that’s analyzing domains to generate “risk ratings of the world’s media websites.” After noticing an absence of ads on Drudge around May 31, Rogers told BuzzFeed they didn’t see any ads on Drudge until about July 12.

During that period, Drudge cast off his advertising representative of close to 20 years, Intermarkets, in favor of a new and unknown company, Granite Cubed. It has no record in the digital ad industry, was only registered as a company in March of this year, and lists no staff or owners on its websites. Yet it just landed one of the biggest websites in the US.

Corporate records show that Granite Cubed is owned by Margaret Otto. According to Pathmatics, a marketing and advertising platform owned by Margaret Otto, she and her husband, Adrian, have close ties to both Matt Drudge and his father, Bob Drudge. The Ottos have known the Drudges since 1999.  Pathmatics, a marketing intelligence platform, estimates that over the past 12 months the site generated more than $30 million in ad revenue. Another estimate from the Global Disinformation Index, to be published in a report next month, pegs revenue at $9 million per year.

The Otto’s also acquired another company in 2017 founded by Bob Drudge called Refdesk.  Adrian Otto joined Google Cloud in 2017 and is their technical director. Matt Drudge is now in bed with Google and Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google.

Alphabet Inc., Google subsidiaries, and YouTube all detest President Trump and everything on the Drudge Report has switched from supporting conservative sites and our president to leftwing media who despises President Donald Trump and his supporters.  Drudge’s links now go to mainstream media like CNN and MSNBC.  Conservative media is rarely seen anymore.

Drudge gave up his relationship with his conservative advertising company of 20 years and joined with the enemies of freedom because they are family vested via Matt’s father, Bob Drudge.

It all makes for a startling shift for a publisher best known for a strategy rooted in changing nothing about his site’s operation. It’s also causing the ad industry to look closely at the mysterious new firm and its high-profile customer.

Bigger bucks must be involved.  Shades of Anthony Scaramucci.

Whatfinger News

So, who is Whatfinger?  Their tagline reads, “The Relentless Pursuit of Creating the Greatest Aggregate Link News Site on Earth.”  And according to their about page, “Whatfinger News was founded by military people and we are 100% unapologetic for being patriotic. That doesn’t mean we don’t show opposing views, sites and papers. We do, and label them on the homepage in sections as right wing or left wing.”  It was originally started as a blog shortly before Trump’s election.  For privacy reasons, Whatfinger News has kept their owners anonymous.  This is smart in today’s doxing society.

Their conservative factual reporting comes from sites such as Breitbart and the Daily Wire. They also frequently source from the Geller Report and the Gateway Pundit. While they do occasionally source from Reuters, this is rare as the majority are right leaning. In general, all aggregated news favors the right.

Whatfinger News shows left-wing and right-wing news but calls out the fake news. They will put the same links other aggregates show, in their “Fake News Quarantine Area.” This is news that is based on anonymous sources and almost always put out by major so-called mainstream news to hurt Trump or Republicans.

They have been under DDos attacks daily mostly from Islamic countries. They had to put up a first-rate Firewall to stop the site from being taken down…which is common for today’s conservative websites who tell the truth.

They have been shadow-banned by Facebook, Reddit, and other sites for daring to post actual news and truth on Islam as well as President Trump.  Whatfinger says that, “If you are not attacking Trump and promoting Islam or insane issues like transgender insanity, the media attacks and bans you.”  Link

Conclusion

Drudge is lost, but an even better website has arisen…use them, they’re great and they’re on our side.  Word of mouth has them growing by leaps and bounds.

Bernie’s Immigration Plan Goes Full Bore Open Borders

I know most of you reading this don’t care a bit about Bernie and his huge move to the Far Left on the issue of immigration, but since I have a category here at ‘Frauds and Crooks’ for “politicians as frauds” I want to tell you about Democrat candidate for Prez, Bernie Sanders.

This also gives me an opportunity to warn you about the growing call for America to ‘welcome’ so-called “climate refugees” which I have written about extensively for ten years.  (See 53 posts going back to December 2008 on climate refugees at RRW by clicking here.)

It is very interesting to see how the Left plants seeds and nurtures them for years and years (helped by the mainstream media) until the idea surfaces, in this case, as a plank in a Presidential candidate’s platform.

Bernie is now throwing American workers under the bus….

Before I get to the news about Bernie’s plan, I guess we have to conclude that Bernie is now throwing American workers under the bus.  When he ran for President four years ago he was still getting some praise for his stance in defense of American workers and his earlier opposition to the failed 2007  comprehensive immigration reform bill.  See Time magazine story here in January 2016.

Sanders’ immigration plan: Halt deportations, abolish ICE, welcome 50K ‘climate migrants,’ give welfare to all

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., on Thursday released a sweeping immigration plan that would impose a moratorium on deportations, “break up” existing immigration enforcement agencies, grant full welfare access to illegal immigrants and welcome a minimum of 50,000 “climate migrants” in the first year of a Sanders administration.

The plan effectively establishes Sanders at the far left of the immigration debate,as he aims to energize a base that helped drive his 2016 primary campaign amid competition from other liberal candidates in the field this time around.

The plan was written in conjunction with several illegal immigrants who were shielded from deportation by former President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

In the plan, Sanders pledges to extend legal status to those eligible under the DACA program, as well as to grant relief for their parents.

He also promises to use executive authority to allow illegal immigrants who have lived in the country for five or more years to stay “free from threat of deportation.”

On day one of a Sanders presidency, he would also place a moratorium on deportations until there was a full audit of “current and past practices and policies.” He would also end the so-called Trump travel ban, as well as other Trump policies such as the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP), action against sanctuary cities and the public charge rule that restricts green cards to those immigrants deemed likely to rely on welfare.

Sanders then wants to provide a “pathway to citizenship” via Congress for all illegal immigrants living in America — which he says is currently around 11 million — and would ensure that “old or low-level contacts with the criminal justice system” do not prevent illegal immigrants from walking along that path.

He would also create a new program to “welcome migrants displaced by climate change” and push to accept a minimum of 50,000 “climate migrants” in his first year in office.

House Democrats introduce climate refugee bill

Here is a story from the day before the bill was introduced. Imagine the fraud this will create—yikes! the weather has changed where I live so I can now move to America!

House Democrats are set to introduce the first major piece of legislation to establish protections for migrants displaced by climate change, ramping up a push for a long-overdue framework for how the United States should respond to a crisis already unfolding on its shores.

The bill, called the Climate Displaced Persons Act,would create a federal program separate from the existing refugee program to take in a minimum of 50,000 climate migrants starting next year.

The legislation, a copy of which HuffPost obtained, directs the White House to collect data on people displaced by extreme weather, drought and sea level rise and submit an annual report to Congress. It also requires the State Department to work with other federal agencies to create a Global Climate Resilience Strategy that puts global warming at the center of U.S. foreign policy.

The bill, set to be introduced by Representative Nydia Velázquez, a New York Democrat, is a companion to legislation proposed by Massachusetts Democratic Senator Ed Markey, one of the leading advocates for a Green New Deal. Its introduction in the House of Representatives marks an escalation as Democrats start to flesh out what a sweeping federal plan to eliminate emissions and prepare the country for more climate catastrophe would look like.

The 21-page proposal looks unlikely to become law while Donald Trump, who rejects climate science and slashed the country’s refugee cap to a historic low of 18,000 last month, remains president.

Yup!

And that is why everyone reading this post needs to find some place to direct your energy to get Donald Trump reelected for four more years.

Banned Practice: YouTube Takes Censorship to Trans Debate

“Talk with teens about possible regret.” That’s what the American Academy of Pediatrics says about tattoos and body piercings. But when it comes to giving a girl who thinks she’s a boy a double mastectomy, the same organization thinks parents should “respect” their kids’ wishes.

That’s just part of the hypocrisy Dr. Michelle Cretella was trying to point out about the liberal medical community in a popular video for the Daily Signal. I say “trying,” because after two years, the flaggers at YouTube decided to pull down the 2017 content and ban it. The truth about transgenderism, they said, “violates YouTube’s hate speech policy.” According to liberal flaggers, the offensive part was just one sentence — but, as Daily Signal editor Katrina Trinko explained on Thursday’s “Washington Watch,” it was an important one.

“If I walk into my doctor’s office today and say, ‘Hi, I’m Margaret Thatcher,’ my physician will say I am delusional and give me an anti-psychotic,” Dr. Cretella explained. But, “if instead, I walked in and said, ‘I’m a man,’ he would say, ‘Congratulations, you’re transgender.’ If I were to say, ‘Doc, I’m suicidal because I’m an amputee trapped in a normal body, please cut off my leg,’ I will be diagnosed with body identity integrity disorder. But if I walk into that doctor’s office and say, ‘I am a man, sign me up for a double mastectomy,’ my physician will.” Then came the part that really set YouTube off: “See, if you want to cut off a leg or an arm you’re mentally ill, but if you want to cut off healthy breasts or a penis, you’re transgender.”

Nothing that Dr. Cretella said is medically inaccurate. “And yet [it’s] so ‘offensive,'” Katrina argued, that “YouTube cannot even let it be said.” And what’s even more incredible is that this video has been online for a whole two years! It already has 70 million views. If YouTube wanted to keep the lid on these facts, they sure took their time doing it. But even now, after months of back-and-forth with the Daily Signal, it’s obvious the company isn’t concerned about truth or fairness. “We said, ‘Hey, we understand you’re a private company. We respect that you have the right to have your own rules. But we really think that this is a targeting of conservatives. Can we come to some sort of understanding?”

YouTube’s answer? No. “Ultimately, we were told the only way we could get the video back on YouTube was to delete the sentence [about cutting off healthy body parts]. In other words, we had two choices: censor the doctor’s words or have no video on the world’s biggest video platform.” That, Katrina said, “should horrify every YouTube user — and anyone who values the importance of a public square featuring a variety of perspectives.”

At a time when children are being legitimately and irreparably hurt by this ideology, the last thing any social media company should be doing is silencing experts. Dr. Cretella is a pediatrician with decades of professional experience. She understands the consequences of this because she’s seen them. If families reinforce and support their kids’ biological gender through puberty, “the vast majority of gender-confused children [as many as 98 percent!] get better.” But here we are, she warns, rushing to “chemically castrate gender-confused children with puberty blockers. Then we permanently sterilize many of them by adding cross-sex hormones, which also put them at risk for heart disease, strokes, diabetes, cancers, and even the very emotional problems that the gender experts claim to be treating.”

The truth may be uncomfortable. The science might be “offensive.” But what people don’t know about this fad of self-expression is destroying our children’s futures. The Left can’t debate Dr. Cretella — they can’t argue against the facts — so they call it “hate speech.” It’s time for the rest of us to rise up and speak out — while we still can! Conservatives may not be as loud and noisy and quick to complain as liberals, Katrina says, “but we exist.” And we should be allowed to speak freely. If you agree, weigh in. On the Film ‘Harriet’ — Both Harriet Tubman and Kayne West have left the plantation [+Videos]

I went to see the Focus Features film “Harriet” a biopic about the life of Harriet Tubman (played by Cynthia Erivo). Harriet was born and grew up as a slave in Dorchester County, Maryland. Marry Pattison Brodess was the woman who originally owned Harriet Tubman and her parents, Ben Ross and Harriet Green.

Harriet escaped from the Brodess plantation in 1849 by travelling 100 miles on foot to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she found freedom.

In her passion for God and freedom, Harriet became the most well known “conductor” in the underground railroad that helped black slaves escape from their plantations. Harriet is credited with freeing 1,000 slaves. Here is the trailer:

Fast forward 170 years from 1849 to 2019

What struck me while watching the story of Harriet Tubman was that this year another black has left a plantation that exists today. Just as Harriet did not want to be told what to do, did not want to have anyone tell her what she can and cannot do, so to is there another who is following in Harriet’s footsteps. His name is Kayne West.

Kayne West is one of the most influential black rappers in the 21st century. He lived a rapper’s life, trapped in a plantation of his own making. In 2019 Kayne West became a born again Christian and produced a hit new album “Jesus is King.”

In the film Harriet repeatedly says God, and His Son Jesus, is what leads her to do the extraordinary things that she did.

In the video below Kayne West explains that Values Matter. Race Doesn’t.

Leaving The New Plantation

Kayne, much like Harriet, has left the plantation of victimhood and race. He now embraces the word of God and those Christian values that make all men equal in His eyes.

Kayne West understands that it was Abraham Lincoln and the Republican Party that won the Civil war, which freed the slaves. Now it is time to help free the slaves from the political plantations of victimhood and race. As Harriet Tubman said it’s time to “free my  people.” While Harriet freed nearly 1,000 slaves, Kayne West has the power to free a million slaves from victimhood. As Harriet Tubman said,

I freed a thousand slaves. I could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves.

According to the film the last words Harriet Tubman said, as she was dying of pneumonia, were from the book of Mathew, “I go away to prepare a place for you, and where I am ye may be also.”
