U.S. Military Downs About 100 Suspected Drug Cartel Drones at Border in August

The US military shot down approximately 100 drones suspected of being operated by drug cartels along the southern border during August alone, according to a senior War Department official. 

The disclosure provides a rare look at the scale of the growing drone threat along the US-Mexico border. American forces are using a range of counter-drone systems, including advanced laser technology, to prevent cartel-linked aircraft from entering US airspace or threatening border personnel.

Task Force–Southern Border carried out the interceptions using specialized equipment supplied and integrated by other military units. Each operation was coordinated with Mexican military and border authorities to avoid accidental clashes between forces operating on opposite sides of the border.

The Pentagon says it is not relying on a single system but on several counter-drone technologies working together. The military has increasingly expanded its role at the border as part of President Donald Trump’s campaign against drug cartels and illegal trafficking.

EXCLUSIVE — The U.S. military provided rare insight into its operations at the southern border Thursday, revealing that it took down “approximately 100” suspected cartel drones in August alone, a senior War Department official confirmed to Fox News.

The disclosure marks the first time the Pentagon has revealed how frequently counter-drone technology, including sophisticated laser systems, is being used at the southern border to stop suspected cartel drones from entering the U.S.

According to a senior War Department official, Task Force–Southern Border carried out the drone takedowns using specialized counter-drone equipment provided and integrated by other military units.

Each operation was planned and closely coordinated with the Mexican military and border authorities to prevent interference or unintended conflicts between forces operating on either side of the border, the official said.

The operations are part of a broader effort to rapidly deploy defenses against drones, combining multiple technologies with trained personnel and updated military authorities. The official emphasized that the military is not relying on a single “silver bullet” system to counter the threat.

On July 29, 2026, Anthony Fauci appeared before the Senate’s Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee to testify about his role in the COVID-19 pandemic. Committee chairman Senator Rand Paul focused on entries from Fauci’s personal diaries between December 2019 and December 2022, which the senator had released to the public in advance of the hearing. Sen. Paul asked Fauci questions about the origins of COVID-19, US funding for gain-of-function research in China, Fauci’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the glaring inconsistencies between Fauci’s private comments in his diaries and statements he made to the American public.

After the diaries were released, RFK Jr. noted that these are not personal journals. They are government records created on a government computer by a federal employee during one of the most consequential public health emergencies in history, and under federal law the documents belong to the American people.

The world watched as the infamous Anthony Fauci, architect and spokesman for the most colossal humanitarian hoax ever perpetrated in world history, sat in silence and, on advice of counsel, pleaded the 5th Amendment 111 times to protect himself against self-incrimination. Fauci refused to answer all questions posed by all Republican senators who questioned him. The Democrat senators did not ask questions, instead they offered obsequious statements in support of Fauci. The political theater on July 29, 2026, was a spectacular visual display of an orchestrated crime of omission. But why? Fauci had already been granted full immunity for the years 2014-2022 by former president Democrat Joe Biden just before he left office.

Let’s review the actual text of the Fifth Amendment to our Constitution. I have bolded the text most relevant to this discussion:

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

We are a world at war: Globalism vs. Nation-states. The below opening paragraph of all forty-five chapters of my 2024 release, Space Is No Longer the Final Frontier––Reality Is, documents the nature of globalism and its existential threat to our constitutional republic.

Globalism is a replacement ideology that seeks to reorder the world into one singular, planetary Unistate, ruled by the globalist elite. Humanitarian hoaxes are tactical weapons in the globalist war on nation-states that rely on public incredulity. It is extremely difficult for the civilized mind to process the malevolence and deceit of a eugenicist’s mind, particularly during times of war.

In Nazi Germany the strategic goal was to create the perfect Aryan race to rule the world. So, Josef Mengele, Hitler’s sadistic Angel of Death, had tactical license to do horrific experiments on living human beings even without anesthesia. Mengele’s particular interest was identical twins––one twin was the subject and the other the control––all were inmates at Auschwitz and most of the twins studied were between ages two and sixteen. German incredulity denied the existence of such barbarity.

Specifically, Mengele studied heterochromia iridium (eyes of two different colors) by introducing chemicals or hormones into the children’s eyes. According to Wikipedia Mengele’s research was done on behalf of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute of Anthropology and the German Research Foundation, and grant funds were used to build a pathology Laboratory attached to Crematorium II at Auschwitz II-Birkenau. Mengele kept personal diaries and records of his experiments at Auschwitz that included measurements, notes, and documentation about his work with twins which he took with him when he fled. Most of what is known about Mengele’s experiments comes from survivor testimony.

Bioethicist Dr. Dianne Irving did her senior thesis on Josef Mengele and offers extraordinary insights in her reflections on ethics, eugenics, and the chilling descriptions of Mengele’s work which are documented in her personal essay published, October 18, 2003, Me and Mengele. Dr. Irving’s concerns regarding eugenics are chronicled in her extensive and broad-ranging body of work that is archived and available to read on LifeIssues.net/Dianne N. Irving Library.

The financial connections between the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) under Anthony Fauci are well-documented and public. In 2003 The Gates Foundation provided $200 million in grant money for Initiatives like Grand Challenges in Global Health in which Fauci served on the scientific board. In 2010 The Gates Foundation partnered with NIAID and the United Nations World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) on a global vaccine action plan in which Fauci served on the scientific board.

In a now infamous 2010 Ted Talk, Bill Gates stated unapologetically, “The world today has about 6.8 billion people. That’s heading up to about nine billion. If we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by perhaps ten or fifteen percent.” Ten or fifteen percent of 6.8 billion people eliminates 680 million to 1.02 billion people!

The globalist elite who funded and fomented Fauci’s work, like Bill Gates, are unapologetic eugenicists whose overarching goal is to reduce the overall human population in preparation for their global totalitarian Unistate––the Great Reset where you will own nothing and be happy––an absurdity described by Klaus Schwab, founder and chairman of the World Economic Forum from its inception until his resignation in 2025.

Curiously, the entire COVID-19 debacle had been rehearsed years before at a tabletop exercise––Event 201––conducted on October 18, 2019, at Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in New York City in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Self-described as a high-level pandemic exercise, “The exercise illustrated areas where public/private partnerships will be necessary during the response to a severe pandemic in order to diminish large-scale economic and societal consequences.” Event 201 simulated a fictional pandemic caused by a novel coronavirus that came from pigs rather than bats and spread globally.

Event 201 was conducted by men and women who represent the arrogant, self-serving, supremacist, globalist perspective that is void of any moral compass or regard for anyone’s life but their own. COVID-19 was and continues to be the greatest humanitarian hoax ever perpetrated in the history of the world––and Anthony Fauci is its huckster-in-chief.

Think of it––millions of people were deliberately lied to and deliberately experimented on with COVID mRNA “vaccines” that are NOT vaccines––they do not prevent transmission or provide immunity. Under Fauci the definition of a vaccine was changed to “reduce symptoms” to perpetrate the hoax, and every batch of the experimental injections was numbered for identification. American incredulity rejected the reasons for the change.

The “lockstep assault against free speech and personal freedoms” that RFK Jr. describes in his introductory remarks is a reference to one of the four fictional scenarios presented in a 2010 Rockefeller Foundation scenario-planning report, “Scenarios for the Future of Technology and International Development.” The scenario referenced is called “Lock Step” and describes a future of strict top-down controls that remain after a severe pandemic. The importance of the lockstep approach is that it represents the public/private collusion that is the infrastructure of globalism’s planetary Unistate to be administered by the lethally corrupt United Nations and its equally corrupt associated internationalized agencies.

Their interrelated domestic policies have been instrumental in weakening the national economy, national security, national defense, public health, and military readiness, while simultaneously strengthening America’s commitment to globalism’s internationalized mandates that comport with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Goals and Agenda 2030, and the World Health Organization’s centralized international control.

Consider Voltaire’s famous remark, “Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.” Now consider some of the absurdities Americans accepted as facts during the COVID-19 madness: the necessity for lockdowns, masking, social distancing, school closures, business closures, church closures, social isolation, and especially acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccines that are not vaccines. In fact, COVID-19 jabs are experimental gene-altering mRNA treatments that were never properly tested for safety, require continuous boosters, and are now being given to babies!

Anthony Fauci and Josef Mengel have much in common. Both knowingly, actively, and sadistically facilitated the dangerous and deceitful political medicine of their time. Anthony Fauci is a sociopath without compassion or feelings of responsibility for what he has done, and, like sociopath Josef Mengele, there is no punishment that can possibly match the depth and breadth of his depravity and crimes against humanity. Yet Fauci sat at the hearing, a free man with full immunity, claiming 5th Amendment protection, and refusing to answer questions he was subpoenaed to answer. Anthony Fauci is a criminal who cannot be allowed to escape responsibility for his role as humanitarian huckster-in-chief for the most colossal humanitarian hoax ever perpetrated in world history.

Nuisance Newsom Nonsense

Perhaps, the Governor needs to review the maxim to “clean up your own backyard first” because his is filled with ashes from uncontrolled fires that displaced much of his state’s citizenry and pot lots that drain the water supply.

Likewise, his state is drenched with rampant vagrancy and homelessness, antisemitism, fraudsters, environmental catastrophes, and crimes perpetuated by revolving door “consequences.”


Newsom compares Israel to ‘apartheid state,’ wants to ‘rethink’ U.S. relationship

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) on Tuesday compared Israel to an “apartheid state” while suggesting that the U.S. should “rethink” its relationship with the Jewish state after both countries carried out attacks on Iran Saturday.

Newsom, promoting his new political memoir “Young Man in a Hurry,” sat down with the hosts of “Pod Save America” for an interview in Los Angeles, where the governor was asked about how many Democrats disapprove of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “trajectory” and want to “rethink” the U.S.-Israel relationship.

“The issue of Bibi is interesting because he’s got his own domestic issues,” Newsom told Tommy Vietor, a co-host of the podcast. “He’s trying to stay out of jail. He’s got an election coming up. He’s potentially on the ropes. He’s got folks, the hard line, that want to annex the West Bank. [Journalist Thomas] Friedman and others are talking about it appropriately as sort of an apartheid state.”

The governor brought up the issue of regime change — a term thrown around before and after the U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran — and said, in relation to Israel, that “they haven’t even been able to solve the Hamas question” in Gaza following the Oct. 7, 2023, attack on country.

Co-host Jon Favreau then asked Newsom, a 2028 presidential contender, if the U.S., “looking down the road, should consider rethinking our military support for Israel?”

“It breaks my heart, because the current leadership is walking us down that path where I don’t think you have a choice about that consideration,” Newsom answered.

He added that the “regional war” is the opposite of what President Trump campaigned on in 2024, when he and others touted him as a candidate for peace compared to former Vice President Harris.

Newsom’s criticism of Israel comes less than two months after he said he refused to call Israel’s bombardment of Gaza, the cutoff of humanitarian aid and the hundreds of thousands of Palestinian deaths a genocide. He told conservative commentator Ben Shapiro on the governor’s podcast “This is Gavin Newsom” in January that he was “crystal clear on my love for Israel.”

Mainstream Media Refuse to Report the Full Facts on ICE Protests, so Americans Must Rely on X Indies

Want to view one of the many resistance training videos being used by protest organizers in Minneapolis? You won’t find it on The New York Times or The Washington Post. Forget USA Today. And don’t even bother searching for it on NBC, MSNOW, CBS, ABC, or CNN. The mainstream media isn’t interested in reporting that side of the biggest domestic protests since the George Floyd riots of 2020.

But independent journalist Cam Higby has not only made public “Documenting and Responding to ICE,” a training video hosted by a Chicago political activist, Jill Garvey, he also infiltrated the Signal organization that is coordinating, supplying, and directing the chaos on Minneapolis streets.

Higby has posted names of the members of the eight sub-groups within Signal, extensively quoted the group’s internal communications, and documented in detail how members track ICE movements then direct protestors to specific locations where ICE law enforcement officials most likely are trying to remove an illegal immigrant who could be a hardened, violent criminal from the streets.

To appreciate how deeply Higby has infiltrated and documented Signal, check out his X home, then search on “MINNEAPOLIS SIGNAL INFILTRATED.” There you will find multiple posts like this one that documents how the protestors relay tag and other information on an ICE vehicle located in one of the protest areas. Higby’s infiltration has been so effective that Signal’s operators were forced to take counter-measures that temporarily limited their ability to continue operations. Unfortunately for them, those counter-measures came after Higby exposed the most relevant facts about their structure and operations.

To appreciate the logistical depth and detail of the organization behind the Minneapolis chaos, check out this “pop-up Leftist supply depot” videoed and reported by Gunther Eagleman, AKA David Freeman. You want milk, here it is. You need hand warmers, gotcha covered. How about some hot coffee? Or donuts? Crackers? Water? It’s all there and somebody is paying for it.

This is the kind of organized, equipped and strategically directed opposition to federal law enforcement that George Wallace, standing in the “school house door” at the University of Alabama in 1963, could only dream of having at his disposal. Ditto another avowed hard-core segregationist determined to stop federal law enforcement, Arkansas Governor Orval Faubus, when 101st Airborne troops escorted nine young black students into Little Rock’s Central High School in 1957. And imagine the death and destruction former Confederate Calvary General Nathan Bedford Forrest could have wreaked across the Reconstruction period had he access to Signal-level insurrection sophistication and funding?

In fact, Signal is not something new. To the contrary, Signal duplicates and refines what Eric Schwalm, a former U.S. Special Forces warrant officer, saw happening time and again with highly sophisticated, organized, and funded insurgencies overseas:

“From Anbar to Helmand, the pattern is familiar: spotters, cutouts, dead drops (or modern equivalents), disciplined comms, role specialization, and a willingness to absorb casualties while bleeding the stronger force slowly. What’s unfolding in Minneapolis right now isn’t ‘protest.’ It’s low-level insurgency infrastructure, built by people who’ve clearly studied the playbook. … This isn’t spontaneous outrage. This is C2 (command and control) with redundancy, OPSEC hygiene, and task organization that would make a [Special Forces] team sergeant nod in recognition. Replace ‘ICE agents’ with ‘occupying coalition forces’ and the structure maps almost 1:1 to early-stage urban cells we hunted in the mid-2000s.”

And Schwalm is worried because Signal isn’t in Afghanistan or Iraq or Gaza, it’s right here in America:

“The most sobering part? It’s domestic. Funded, trained (somewhere), and directed by people who live in the same country they’re trying to paralyze law enforcement in. When your own citizens build and operate this level of parallel intelligence and rapid-response network against federal officers — complete with doxxing, vehicle pursuits, and harassment that’s already turned lethal — you’re no longer dealing with civil disobedience. You’re facing a distributed resistance that’s learned the lessons of successful insurgencies: stay below the kinetic threshold most of the time, force over-reaction when possible, maintain popular support through narrative, and never present a single center of gravity.”

Whatever you think of the Minneapolis situation, it could only happen in a limited number of locations in America. How many? Well, Kevin Bass analyzed media reports on anti-ICE incidents around the nation for the past year and found nine counties that accounted for two-thirds of all such violent confrontations.

The nine are all connected to deep-blue big cites with far-Left Democratic mayors and with long-standing sanctuary status, including Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Denver, New York, and Newark. Statistically, those nine counties turned out to be 590 times more likely to experience violent anti-ICE confrontations than all of the remaining 3,134 counties in the United States! Coincidence?

Even given all of the preceding facts, however, there is evidence the Signal operation is not perfect, as seen in this video snapshot on X of a “protestor” who, in the midst of a chaotic demonstration, suddenly finds himself able to lift himself out of his wheelchair to pick something up from the street. Either the age of miracles continues or Signal is sending false signals.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Would Not Recognize His Beloved America Today

It’s January 20th, 2026 Dr. Martin Luther King Day.

As I sit at my computer I’m thinking about one of those men who believed in a bright future for America. His name is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

On  August 28th, 1963, at the Lincoln Memorial, in Washington D.C., Dr. King gave his I Have A Dream speech. It has been 63 years since Dr. King gave a speech that has gone down in history as the “greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.”

Dr. King stated,

In a sense we’ve come to our nation’s capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the “unalienable Rights” of “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked “insufficient funds.” [Emphasis added]

Today we are seeing that America has, once again, “defaulted” on its “promissory note.”

Rather than insuring we the people, regardless of race, color or creed, are treated equally under the law we see some treated more equally than others. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness has been subjugated to the pursuit of power, only power, absolute power.

Instead of equal justice under the law we are witnessing efforts to produce equal outcomes by putting government’s thumb on the scales of justice.

Just as Dr. King was concerned about “[T]he Negro is still languished in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land” we find others languishing in the corners of American society. These include those who disobey ever more powerful, expanding and tyrannical governments from the school house to the White House.

We are seeing from school board to the White House elected officials ignoring those that they serve in order to push their agenda of diversity, equity and inclusion.

We are seeing parents who speak out at school board meetings about what their children are taught labeled “domestic terrorists” and those who speak truth to power called “insurrectionists.”

Dr. King refused to believe “that the bank of justice is bankrupt.”

Freedom is based upon equal justice under the law, not government using mandates to create equal outcomes under new laws.

From the White House to the U.S. Congress to the United States Supreme Court we are seeing laws based on equal outcomes being passed, signed into law and blessed by the highest court in the land.

We have seen prayer taken out of our public schools and banned from the public square. We have seen 65 million of our unborn citizens, especially those who are black, aborted in the myth of “my body my choice.” We are seeing segregation in new forms, driven by politics and policies that divide rather than unite. Segregation of those who refuse to obey.

Today, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. wound not recognize his beloved America.

The Fierce Urgency Of Now

Dr. King said in his I Have A Dream speech,

We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God’s children. [Emphasis added]

Today we are seeing racial injustice of a new kind. Racial injustice if you are black but are a conservative, white and straight, believe that marriage is between one man and one woman, believe that there are only two genders XX or male and XY or female.

Worst of all there is a nouveau form of segregation and injustice under the rubric of forced diversity, equity and inclusion. This nouveau trifecta applies to those who disagree with government mandates that pit one set of groups against other groups to gain and maintain political power.

Dr. King warned, “It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment.”

Diversity, equity, and inclusion advocates are out there saying the craziest things, and somebody needs to call them out on it. So, I will:

‘Voter ID laws disproportionately affect trans people,’ as if trans people are incapable of keeping their IDs up to date with their new status.

Calling them scientific blind studies is ablest and derogatory towards blind people. Mothers and fathers should be called ‘supporters’ and boyfriends and girlfriends should be called ‘partners’.

Stop calling us Americans because the United States is only one of 42 countries in the Americas.

The terms ‘brave’ and ‘long time no see’ are insensitive to American Indians.

Stop using the word field because slaves worked the fields.  I guess that means we should stop using the word ‘house’, too, because there were house slaves.

Exercise is a tool of white supremacy.

Telling black women to lose weight is racist.  Gee, I wonder if that makes Oprah racist for telling herself to go on diets.

Harvard Medical School now has a course on LGBT healthcare for infants.  Huh?

Dr. King’s most powerful words were, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

Today government, political parties, corporations, universities, schools and even churches no longer judge individuals by their characters. They judge them by their preferred gender pronouns.

Insane, absurd? Absolutely!

Dr. King closed with these words in his I Have A Dream speech,

[W]hen we allow [to] freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:

Free at last! Free at last!
Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!

Amen to that.

Dems Join Communist Regimes in Wagging Fingers at Trump over Venezuela Raid

The high-profile capture of Venezuelan autocrat Nicolás Maduro by U.S. forces has sparked a firestorm of controversy, both at home and abroad. Domestically, Democrats are crying, “Foul,” framing President Donald Trump’s Venezuelan raid as a violation of both his constitutional authorities as president and international law. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) claimed in a Sunday interview that there was “no evidence” that Maduro’s regime posed “an imminent threat to the health, the safety, the well-being, the national security of the American people.”

“This was not simply a counter-narcotics operation. It was an act of war,” Jeffries argued. “This was a military action involving Delta Force, involving the Army, apparently involving thousands of troops, involving at least 150 military aircraft, perhaps involving dozens of ships off the coast of Venezuela and South America. So, of course, this was the military action,” he continued. “And pursuant to the Constitution, only Congress has the power to declare war, to authorize acts that take place in this regard. And we’ve got to make sure when we return to Washington, D.C., that legislative action is taken to ensure that no further military steps occur absent explicit congressional approval.”

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) announced that he and Senator Tim Kaine (D-Va.), along with frequent Trump critic Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.), will introduce legislation this week to bar the commander in chief from further military action without congressional approval. “It’s a violation of the law to do what they did without getting the authorization of Congress,” the top Democrat said in an interview Sunday. He shared that his “War Powers Act” will be brought to the Senate floor this week. “It’s going to come to the floor this week, and if it is voted for, if it’s voted positively in both houses, then the president can’t do another thing in Venezuela without the okay of Congress.”

“The American people this morning,” Schumer claimed, “are scratching their heads in wonderment and in fear of what the president has proposed. The United States will run Venezuela. We have learned through the years when America tries to do regime change and nation building in this way, the American people pay the price in both blood and in dollars.” He continued, “The American people are worried that this is creating an endless war. The very thing that Donald Trump campaigned against over and over and over again was no more endless wars. And right now, we’re headed right into one with no barriers, with no discussion. This is reckless.”

Likewise, Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) disparaged the raid on Venezuela as “wildly illegal.” “This is a president who has been operating illegally since he was sworn into office, stealing from the American people, seizing spending power. What’s illegal now? Dragging America into a war overseas,” the senator claimed. “The president cannot run a military operation of this size, cannot invade a foreign country without coming to Congress first, without allowing the American public to weigh in. America doesn’t want this war. Nobody asked for this because it has nothing to do with American national security.”

Murphy further averred that Maduro and his regime are “not a security threat to the United States. They’re not threatening to invade us. There is no terrorist group like al-Qaeda operating there that has plans to attack the United States.” He continued, “To the extent that you care about the drug trade, yes, they produce drugs, but those drugs go to Europe. Fentanyl is the drug that’s killing Americans. That’s not coming from Venezuela. Venezuela produces cocaine.”

In a lengthy social media post, Vice President J.D. Vance responded to the claim that Venezuela is not responsible for drug trafficking into the U.S. “First off, fentanyl isn’t the only drug in the world and there is still fentanyl coming from Venezuela (or at least there was). Second, cocaine, which is the main drug trafficked out of Venezuela, is a profit center for all of the Latin America cartels,” he explained. “If you cut out the money from cocaine (or even reduce it) you substantially weaken the cartels overall. Also, cocaine is bad too!”

Vance also addressed claims that the U.S. was targeting Venezuela in order to obtain the Latin American country’s massive oil reserves. “About 20 years ago, Venezuela expropriated American oil property and until recently used that stolen property to get rich and fund their narcoterrorist activities,” he recounted. “I understand the anxiety over the use of military force, but are we just supposed to allow a communist to steal our stuff in our hemisphere and do nothing? Great powers don’t act like that. The United States, thanks to President Trump’s leadership, is a great power again.”

The president and other Trump administration officials have likewise defended the raid on Venezuela. In a press conference Saturday announcing Maduro’s capture, the president asserted, “This was one of the most stunning, effective, and powerful displays of American military might and competence in American history.”

He continued to note that Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, had previously been indicted in the U.S. Southern District of New York for crimes against the U.S., including drug trafficking. “The illegitimate dictator Maduro was the kingpin of a vast criminal network responsible for trafficking colossal amounts of deadly and illicit drugs into the United States. As alleged in the indictment, he personally oversaw the vicious cartel known as Cartel de los Soles, which flooded our nation with lethal poison, responsible for the deaths of countless Americans,” Trump expounded, touting the “overwhelming evidence” to be presented against the Maduros in court. “Maduro and his wife will soon face the full might of American justice and stand trial on American soil.”

“We’re going to run the country until such time as we can do a safe, proper, and judicious transition. So we don’t want to be involved with having somebody else get in,” the president added. “We can’t take a chance that somebody else takes over Venezuela that doesn’t have the good of the Venezuelan people in mind. We’ve had decades of that. We’re not going to let that happen.”

Trump also addressed the issue of Venezuelan oil, calling the Venezuelan oil industry “a total bust.” According to the president, U.S. oil companies will invest in Venezuela’s oil production facilities to “fix the badly broken infrastructure, the oil infrastructure, and start making money for the country.” The president argued that Venezuela “unilaterally seized and stole American oil, American assets, and American platforms costing us billions and billions of dollars. They did this a while ago, but we never had a president that did anything about it. They took all of our property. It was our property. We built it.” He continued, “We built [the] Venezuela oil industry with American talent, drive, and skill, and the socialist regime stole it from us during those previous administrations and they stole it through force. This constituted one of the largest thefts of American property in the history of our country.”

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth also spoke at the press conference, noting that the U.S. had given Maduro multiple opportunities over the past several months to surrender and abdicate power peacefully. “Nicolás Maduro had his chance … until he didn’t. He effed around and he found out,” Hegseth quipped. “President Trump is deadly serious about stopping the flow of gangs and violence to our country, deadly serious about stopping the flow of drugs and poison to our people, deadly serious about getting back the oil that was stolen from us, and deadly serious about reestablishing American deterrence and dominance in the Western Hemisphere,” he continued. “This is about the safety, security, freedom, and prosperity of the American people. This is America first. This is peace through strength and the United States War Department is proud to help deliver it. Welcome to 2026. And under President Trump, America is back.”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio spent the weekend appearing on various news programs to quash allegations of constitutional overreach, forever wars, and violations of international law. “There’s not a war. I mean, we are at war against drug trafficking organizations and not at war against Venezuela. We are enforcing American laws,” Rubio insisted in a Sunday appearance on NBC. “This was, at essence, at its core, a law enforcement function,” he added. Rubio noted that previous administrations, including the Biden administration, issued bounties for Maduro’s capture, ranging from $25 million to $50 million, but never “enforced” those bounties. “It’s easy to make a wanted poster and say $50 million for the capture of Maduro, but no one takes that seriously because you’re not going to do anything about it. President Trump did something about it.”

Rubio also addressed potential military actions against Cuba, run by communist dictator Miguel Díaz-Canel, successor to Fidel and Raúl Castro. When asked if the Cuban regime is the “next target” for the U.S., Rubio replied, “Well, the Cuban government is a huge problem, first of all, for the people of Cuba.” He added, “I think they’re in a lot of trouble, yes.” The secretary of State said that he was “not going to talk” publicly about future U.S. policy and actions regarding Cuba, but suggested, “I don’t think it’s any mystery that we are not big fans of the Cuban regime, who, by the way, are the ones that were propping up Maduro.” He explained that Maduro’s “entire internal security force, his internal security apparatus, is entirely controlled by Cubans. … It was Cubans that guarded Maduro. He was not guarded by Venezuelan bodyguards. He had Cuban bodyguards. In terms of their internal intelligence, who spies on who inside to make sure there are no traitors, those are all Cubans.”

Following the raid on Venezuela, Díaz-Canel ordered a period of national mourning for a reported 32 Cuban military personnel who were killed by U.S. forces while protecting Maduro. “Honor and glory to the brave Cuban combatants who fell confronting terrorists in imperial uniform, who kidnapped and illegally took out of their country the President of [Venezuela] and his wife, whose lives our own helped to protect at the request of that sister nation,” the Cuban autocrat said in a social media post.

In an interview with the New York Post, Trump acknowledged the alliance between Cuba and Venezuela but clarified that he has no specific plans against Cuba at the moment. “No, Cuba is going to fall of its own volition. Cuba is doing very poorly,” he said. “Cuba was always very reliant on Venezuela. That’s where they got their money, and they protected Venezuela, but that didn’t work out too well in this case.”

Communist China has also maintained a close relationship with Maduro’s regime and, in fact, had several diplomats visiting Venezuela when the U.S. military strikes took place. A spokesperson for the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP’s) Foreign Ministry said in a statement, “China is deeply shocked by and strongly condemns the US’ blatant use of force against a sovereign state and action against its president.” The CCP, which has enacted a program of oppression against its own people, including mass arrests and genocide, asked the U.S. to “abide by international law” and “stop violating other countries’ sovereignty and security.” The CCP statement continued, “Such hegemonic acts of the US seriously violate international law and Venezuela’s sovereignty, and threaten peace and security in Latin America and the Caribbean region. China firmly opposes it.”

Trump Teases Mexico As Next Potential Target For Military Intervention After Capture Of Venezuela Dictator

President Donald Trump hinted Saturday morning that Mexican drug cartels could be the next target of American military action during a phone interview on Fox News.

American military forces, including Delta Force, protected a law enforcement operation that arrested Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife in Caracas early Saturday morning, Trump announced in a post on Truth Social. “Fox and Friends Weekend” co-host Charlie Hurt asked if Trump was using the takedown of Maduro to send a message to Mexico.

“She’s a good woman, but the cartels are running Mexico. She’s not running Mexico, the cartels are running Mexico,” Trump said, referring to Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum. “And we can be politically correct and be nice and say … she’s very frightened of the cartels, they’re running Mexico. I’ve asked her numerous times, would you like us to take out the cartels. ‘No, no, no, Mr. President, no, no, no, please.’”

“So, we have to do something because we lost – the real number is 300,000 people, in my opinion. They like to say 100,000. 100,000 is a lot of people, but the real number is 300,000 people,” Trump continued. “And we lost them to drugs. And they come in through the southern border, mostly the southern border. Plenty come in through Canada, too, by the way, in case you don’t know. But they come in through the southern border, and something’s going to have to be done with Mexico.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on X that Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, would be taken to New York to be arraigned on charges stemming from a Marco 2020 indictment on drug trafficking and firearms charges. Trump praised American military personnel for carrying out what he called an “amazing” operation after a four-day delay due to weather.

“I’ll tell you, it was just amazing. What was he [Maduro] doing? He was in a very highly guarded, like a fortress, actually. He was in a fortress,” Trump said. “You know that we had nobody killed, it was amazing. I think we had nobody killed, I have to say, because a couple of guys were hit, but they came back and they’re supposed to be in pretty good shape. But we had nobody killed. We lost no aircraft, everything came back, we got it all back. One of them was hit pretty hard, a helicopter, but we got it back.”

Ex-FDA Commissioners Against Higher Vaccine Standards Took $6 Million From COVID Vaccine Makers

Ten of the twelve former Food and Drug Administration (FDA) commissioners and acting commissioners opposed to the Trump administration’s stiffer standards for vaccines quietly disclosed ties to the pharmaceutical industry, a Daily Caller News Foundation review shows.

The FDA old guard criticized the new leadership in a Dec. 3 New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) letter over a higher regulatory bar for vaccines, namely the expectation that most new vaccine approvals will require randomized clinical trials, arguing it could hamper the market.

“Insisting on long, expensive outcomes studies for every updated formulation would delay the arrival of better-matched vaccines when new outbreaks emerge or when additional groups of patients could benefit,” the former commissioners wrote. “Abandoning the existing methods won’t ‘elevate vaccine science’ … It will subject vaccines to a substantially higher and more subjective approval bar.”

But while the former commissioners disclosed their conflicts of interest to the medical journal — per standard practice in scientific publishing — reporters didn’t relay them to the broader public in reports in the Washington PostSTAT News and CNN.

The headlines about a bipartisan rebuke from former occupants of FDA’s highest office give the impression that the Trump administration is contravening established science, but closer inspection reveals a revolving door between pharmaceutical corporations and the agencies overseeing them.

Three of the signatories have received payments totaling $6 million from manufacturers or former manufacturers of COVID vaccines.

Scott Gottlieb has received $2.1 million in cash and stock from his position on the Pfizer board of directors, where he has advised on ethics and regulatory compliance since 2019, according to company filings to the Securities and Exchange Commission. Stephen Ostroff has received $752,310 from Pfizer in consulting fees since 2020, according to OpenPayments.

Mark McClellan has received $3.3 million from Johnson & Johnson as a member of the board of directors since 2013, SEC filings also show. McClellan also consults for the new pharmaceutical arm of the alternative investment management company Blackstone, which invested $750 million in Moderna in April 2025.

Gottlieb and McClellan did not respond to requests for comment. Ostroff could not be reached for comment.

FDA Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research Director Vinay Prasad outlined the higher standards and shared the results of an internal analysis validating 10 reports of children’s deaths following the COVID-19 vaccine in a Nov. 28 memo to staff. He called for introspection and reform at the agency.

The NEJM letter criticizes Prasad for cracking down on a practice called “immunobridging” that infers vaccine efficacy from laboratory tests rather than assessing it through real-world reductions in disease or death. The FDA under the Biden administration expanded COVID vaccines to children using this “immunobridging” technique, extrapolating vaccine efficacy from adults to children based on antibody levels.

Norman Sharpless — who in addition to previously serving as acting FDA commissioner also served as the head of the National Institutes of Health’s National Cancer Institute — consults for Tempus, a company that collaborates with COVID vaccine maker BioNTech. He has helped steer $70 million in investments in biotech through a venture capital firm he founded in November 2024. Sharpless also disclosed $26,180 in payments in 2024 from Chugai Pharmaceutical, a Japanese pharmaceutical company that markets mRNA technology among other drugs, on OpenPayments.

“I was grateful for the opportunity to serve as NCI Director and Acting FDA Commissioner in the first Trump Administration, and strongly support many of the things President Trump is trying to do in the current Administration,” Sharpless said in an email.

Margaret Hamburg, another former FDA commissioner and signatory of the NEJM letter, has since 2020 earned $2.8 million as a member of the board of Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, which markets RNA interference (RNAi) technology.

Hamburg did not respond to a message on LinkedIn.

Most signatories disclosed income from biotech companies testing experimental cancer treatments. These products could face tighter scrutiny under Prasad, a hematologist-oncologist long wary of rubberstamping pricey oncology drugs — which Prasad points out often cause some toxicity — without plausible evidence of an improvement in quality of life or survival.

The former FDA commissioners disclosed ties to Sermonix Pharmaceuticals Inc.; OncoNano Medicine; incyclix; Nucleus Radiopharma; and N-Power, a contractor that runs oncology clinical trials.

Andrew von Eschenbach, who like Sharpless formerly served both as FDA commissioner and the head of the National Cancer Institute, disclosed stock in HistoSonics, a company with investments from Bezos Expeditions and Thiel Bio seeking FDA approval for ultrasound technology targeted at tumors.

Some FDA commissioners who signed onto the letter opposing changes to vaccine approvals have ties to biotechnology investment firms, namely McClellan, who consults Arsenal Capital; Janet Woodcock, who consults RA Capital Management; and Robert Califf, who owns stock in Population Health Partners.

Califf did not respond to an email requesting comment. Woodcock did not respond to requests for comment sent to two medical research advocacy groups with Woodcock on the board. Eschenbach did not respond to a LinkedIn message.

The two signatories without pharmaceutical ties may find their judgement challenged by the FDA investigation into COVID-19 vaccine deaths, having either implemented or formally defended the Biden administration’s headlong expansion of vaccines and boosters to healthy adults and children.

David Kessler executed Biden’s vaccination policy as chief science officer at the Department of Health and Human Services, helping to secure deals for shots with Pfizer and Moderna.

Meanwhile Jane Henney chaired a National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine report published in October 2025 that praised the performance of FDA and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) vaccine surveillance during the pandemic — underwritten with CDC funding.

That assessment clashes with that of a Senate report, citing internal documents from FDA, finding that CDC never updated its vaccine surveillance tool “V-Safe” to include cardiac symptoms, despite naming myocarditis as a potential adverse event by October 2020, and that top officials in the Biden administration delayed warning pediatricians and other providers about the risk of myocarditis after their approval in some children in May 2021, months after Israeli health officials first detected it in February 2021. The Senate investigation named Woodcock, a signatory of the NEJM letter, as one of the FDA officials who slow-walked the warning.

Trump Pulls Page From Iraq War Playbook In Escalation Against ‘Narco-Terrorists’

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Monday designating fentanyl as a weapon of mass destruction amid the administration’s escalating conflict with Venezuela and “narcoterrorists.”

The administration has continued its strikes on alleged drug traffickers in the Caribbean as pressure increases on Venezuelan socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro. The president announced his next move against drug trafficking and signed an executive order to name fentanyl as a weapon of mass destruction.

In 2003, under former President George W. Bush’s administration, the United States invaded Iraq because Saddam Hussein was believed to have weapons of mass destruction. No weapons of mass destruction were found during the war.

“But there’s no doubt that America’s adversaries are trafficking fentanyl into the United States, in part because they want to kill Americans. If this [were] a war that would be one of the worst wars, I believe they killed over the last five or six years, per year, 200 to 300,000 people. You hear about 100,000 which is a lot of people, but the number’s much higher. That’s been proven, and they’ve destroyed a lot of families, because when they lose a child, or even if their child is heavily addicted, you lose that family, the family will never be the same,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.

“That’s why today, I’m taking one more step to protect Americans from the scourge of deadly fentanyl flooding into our country with this historic executive order I will sign today. We’re formally classifying fentanyl as a weapon of mass destruction, which is what it is. No bomb does what this is doing. Two-hundred to 300,000 people die every year. That we know of. So we’re formally classifying fentanyl as a weapon of mass destruction,” he added.

Following the announcement, some media figures drew connections to the now ill-received Iraq war.

“I already said fentanyl is going to be this generations ‘WMD’ to justify war in Venezuela when it’s not even there,” Sara Higdon, a reporter for the Post Millennial, posted on X. “But now tell me how this works? Fentanyl is a schedule 2 drug, in every hospital in America, and we make millions of grams each year… also calling it a WMD, doesn’t make sense, when every drug OD is self inflicted…”

Foreign policy analysts previously speculated to the Daily Caller that the president is pursuing conflict overseas to potentially pave the way for regime change in Venezuela. Trump has previously denied that regime change is an objective.

On Nov. 17, the president spoke about the growing conflict overseas. He told reporters that he wouldn’t rule “anything” out when it comes to dealing with Venezuela and potentially sending in ground troops.

“The two cartels that are predominantly responsible for the distribution of fentanyl in the United States engage in armed conflict over territory and to protect their operations, resulting in large-scale violence and death that go beyond the immediate threat of fentanyl itself,” Trump’s executive order reads. “Further, the potential for fentanyl to be weaponized for concentrated, large-scale terror attacks by organized adversaries is a serious threat to the United States.”

As the focus on the conflict overseas has increased, Trump has received some push back from supporters who want him to focus more on domestic issues, rather than foreign ones.

“So … wait a minute. So some people would say don’t focus on anything outside of our border. I like that, too. But I’ve made trillions and trillions of dollars and solved problems and solved wars,” Trump said in response to concerns during an interview with Politico.

“Do you know most of the wars that I solved were solved sitting behind the Oval Office desk on a telephone? I think that those are worthy phone calls. Even if they didn’t impact us to save millions of lives from another country and if I can do that easily because I have that ability are pretty good,” he added.

Tylenol and Autism: More to the Story

In 2020, the Atlanta-based U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that one in 36 children (approximately four percent of boys and one percent of girls) was estimated to have autism-spectrum disorder, estimates that were significantly higher than those in all previous years.

But just five years later, according to the press conference held just weeks ago on September 22, President Trump — in the presence of U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz — announced that the Department of Health and Human Services stated that autism had surged in America nearly 400% and now affects 1 in 31 American children…

…and that this alarming statistic was a result of pregnant women taking Tylenol during their pregnancies!

Within milliseconds, everyone weighed in, from a skeptical Scientific American to the hearty support of the Icahn School in the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine.

Here, Dr. Josh Redd explains in plain English why Tylenol is so bad for pregnant women.

Besides the pros and cons, disturbing facts emerged, not the least of which is that the FDA knew about the Tylenol-autism link over a decade and a half ago…but did nothing!  Talk about “follow the money”!

In fact, as early as 2019, a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) study recommended — again, with no follow-through — that the labels be revised to advise pregnant women to “be careful about casual use of acetaminophen when it is not strongly needed for pain or other purposes.”

It took a few years, but since September 2022, according to the BirthInjuryCenter.org , over 100 lawsuits have been filed nationwide against acetaminophen manufacturers, claiming damage over the failure to warn pregnant users that Tylenol and generic versions may increase the risk of having a baby with autism and/or ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).

By that I mean that this potentially life-altering announcement omitted — actually failed — to include a quite obvious cause of autism’s precipitous rise over the past several decades.

To explain: In the early ’70s, I worked nights — the 11 P.M. to 7 A.M. shift — as a delivery room nurse at a university-affiliated hospital near my home on Long Island.  It was a revolutionary time in obstetrics, when the Lamaze method of “prepared childbirth” and the use of sonograms to visualize fetuses were gaining popularity.

Actually, ultrasound technology was first developed in Scotland in the mid-1950s by obstetrician Ian Donald and engineer Tom Brown to detect industrial flaws in ships.  By the end of the ’50s, ultrasound was routinely used in Glasgow hospitals, but it was not until the 1970s that it was used in American hospitals to check that the developing baby, placenta, and amniotic fluid were normal and to detect abnormal conditions such as birth defects and ectopic pregnancies.

At the end of the ’70s, I became a certified Lamaze teacher and spent the next 22 years giving weekly classes to couples in my home.  In a very real way, I had my own laboratory, as I learned directly from my clients about the increasing escalation of sonogram exams they had as the decades elapsed.

In the early 1980s, it was common for only one or two out of the ten women in my classes to have a sonogram.  In just a few years, every woman in my classes had had a sonogram.  And in the late ’80s and ’90s, almost every woman had not one sonogram, but often two or three or four or five — starting as early as three or four weeks’ gestation and extending, in some instances, right up to delivery!

It was in the ’90s, in fact, that it occurred to me that the scary rise in the incidence of autism might be linked to the significant rise in ultrasound exams.  Over the years, I’ve posited my theory to a number of people, written letters to the editors of newspapers — including to the N.Y. Times, for which I wrote for over 20 years, but they still refused to publish my letter — and emailed my idea to one of the top news people at the Fox News Network, but the “we report/you decide” powers that be on that TV station strangely decided not to report on this subject.

I contacted autism researchers Dr. Marcel Just and Dr. Diane L. Williams, who told me via email that Dr. Pasko Rakic at Yale was, indeed, exploring the autism-ultrasound link.

Then, in 2006, I found an article in Midwifery Today, “Questions about Prenatal Ultrasound and the Alarming Increase in Autism,” by writer-researcher Caroline Rodgers.

“The steep increase in autism,” Rodgers wrote, “goes beyond the U.S.: It is a “global phenomenon” that “has emerged … across vastly different environments and cultures.”

However, Rodgers added, “what all industrial countries do have in common is … the use of routine prenatal ultrasound on pregnant women.  In countries with nationalized health care, where virtually all pregnant women are exposed to ultrasound, the autism rates are even higher than in the U.S., where due to disparities in income and health insurance, some 30 percent of pregnant women do not yet undergo ultrasound scanning.”

Aha!  Could this be why blacks and Hispanics in America continue to lag behind whites in the development of autism?

Dolphins, Whales…Relevance?

In the summer of 2012, as many as 3,000 dead dolphins were found in Peru.  Researchers at the Organization for the Conservation of Aquatic Animals (ORCA), a Peruvian marine animal conservation organization, attributed the mass deaths to the use of deep-water sonar by ships in nearby waters.

Even earlier, in June of 2008, four days after a Navy helicopter was using controversial sonar equipment during training exercises off the Cornish coast in Great Britain, 26 dolphins died in a mass stranding.

These events — and literally thousands that are similar — are relevant because many mass deaths and strandings of whales and dolphins have been attributed to the sonar waves emitted from Navy ships.

In 2009, an article in Scientific American by John Slocum explained that sonar (sound navigation and ranging) systems, which were first developed by the U.S. Navy to detect enemy submarines, “generate slow-rolling sound waves topping out at around 235 decibels; the world’s loudest rock bands top out at only 130.  These sound waves can travel for hundreds of miles under water and can retain an intensity of 140 decibels as far as 300 miles from their source.”

Slocum wrote that a successful 2003 lawsuit against the Navy brought by the nonprofit Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) to restrict the use of low-frequency sonar in waters rich in marine wildlife was upheld by two lower courts, but the Supreme Court “ruled that the Navy should be allowed to continue the use of some mid-frequency sonar testing for the sake of national security.”

Two quick questions: If sonar can kill fully developed dolphins, what effect, then, does it have on the developing brains of in utero embryos and fetuses?  And why was the massive use of sonograms during pregnancy not even considered an area of research in our government’s investigation?

And Then There’s the Heat!

Just as concerning, as far back 1982, the World Health Organization (WHO)’s study, “Effects of Ultrasound on Biological Systems,” concluded that “neurological, behavioral, developmental, immunological, hematological changes and reduced fetal weight can result from exposure to ultrasound.”  Two years later, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) reported that when birth defects occurred, the acoustic output of sonograms was usually high enough to cause considerable heat.

And yet, in 1993, the FDA approved an eightfold increase in the potential acoustical output of ultrasound equipment!  Ostensibly, this increase was to enhance visualization of the heart and small vessels during microsurgery.  Clearly, the health and well-being of developing fetuses was not a consideration!

Getting back to those embryos and fetuses, Rodgers explained that “when the transducer from the ultrasound is positioned over the part of the fetus the operator is trying to visualize, the fetus may be feeling vibrations, heat, or both.”

Rodgers then cited a warning the Food and Drug Administration issued way back in 2004: “Even at low levels, [ultrasound] laboratory studies have shown it can have … jarring vibrations” — one study compared the noise to a subway coming into a station — “and a rise in temperature.”

The cause of autism, Rodgers wrote, “has been pinned on everything from ‘emotionally remote’ mothers … to vaccines, genetics, immunological disorders, environmental toxins and maternal infections.  A far simpler possibility … is the pervasive use of prenatal ultrasound, which can cause potentially dangerous thermal effects.”

Imagine how these assaults affect the developing brain of a fetus!

Enter Hard Science

In August 2006, Pasko Rakic, M.D., chair of Yale School of Medicine’s Department of Neurobiology, announced the results of a study in which pregnant mice underwent various durations of ultrasound.  The brains of the offspring showed damage that was also found in the brains of people with autism.

The research, funded by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, also implicated ultrasound in neurodevelopmental problems in children, such as dyslexia, epilepsy, mental retardation, and schizophrenia, and showed that damage to brain cells increased with longer exposures.

Dr. Rakic’s study, Rodgers said, “is just one of many animal experiments and human studies conducted over the years indicating that prenatal ultrasound can be harmful to babies.”

Follow the Money

In The Daily Beast, Jennifer Margulis, author of Business of Baby: What Doctors Don’t Tell You, What Corporations Try to Sell You, and How to Put Your Baby before Their Bottom Linewrote that Dr. Rakic “concluded that all nonmedical use of ultrasound on pregnant women should be avoided.”

In her research, Margulis said that she discovered that “there is mounting evidence that overexposure to sound waves — or perhaps exposure to sound waves at a critical time during fetal development — is to blame for the astronomic rise in neurological disorders among America’s children.”

Clearly, there is a vast human tragedy — a true man-made disaster — taking place before our eyes.

For whatever reasons — follow the money? — the mountain of evidence that points to a causal relationship between prenatal ultrasound exams and an escalating pandemic of autism is being systematically ignored.

Could it have anything to do with the huge investments doctors and scientists have made in ultrasound technology, which, according to Jennifer Margulis, “adds more than $1 billion to the cost of caring for pregnant women in America each year”?

Could it have anything to do with the revenue now pouring like an avalanche into the coffers of diagnostic and treatment centers and classrooms?

Could it have anything to do with modern journalism’s almost complete abandonment of hard-nosed reporting and life-saving exposés?

As Caroline Rodgers said, there is an elephant in the room when it comes to the subject of autism, and that elephant is the worldwide blitzkrieg of ultrasound exams on pregnant women, exams that have bombarded the babies they’re carrying with the brain-warping sound waves and heat that will continue to affect them every second of their autistic lives.

Yoo-hoo, President Trump, RFK Jr., and Dr. Oz!  It’s way past time to give pregnancy sonograms the same attention and warnings you gave so confidently to Tylenol!

Injections for Babies: We are WAY off a scientific path here

I have brought up some of this information before, but to date, few people seem to appreciate the extreme direness of this matter. Maybe it was my fault for including it with other material, as it might have gotten lost.

Today, this is my sole point: US vaccination recommendations for babies and young children have gotten way out of hand. In a word, they are not scientific.

As I wrote recently:

The “government” (especially the CDC) is currently advising parents of babies to give them almost 40 injections by the time they are TWO (2) years old. FORTY! (See CDC chart.)

The Science issue is not what the potential value of any one of these individual shots is, but rather that there have been ZERO scientific studies done that assess the long-term health risks to these babies from the combination of these 40± injections. However, anyone who questions the absurdity of this situation is quickly labelled an anti-vaxxer. Scientists should be skeptical!

This CDC chart continues on through age six, so please check it out. It’s worse than my prior polite summary says. In actuality, the CDC’s full recommendations amount to SEVENTY-TWO injections for young children!!!

Chronic Diseases and the Childhood Vaccine Schedule —

It’s easy to dismiss those asking whether this astounding collection of injections contributes to subsequent adverse health effects (e.g., autism). It’s easy to dismiss such views, but the scientific reality is WE DO NOT KNOW!

Here is a very thorough and well-documented discussion about the dire autism situation — by a person who disputes the vaccine connection. That said, they provide zero evidence as to why they believe that vaccines have nothing to do with the extraordinary spike in autism cases.

But what if we broaden our scope and look at the number of young people who have one or more chronic diseases? What is happening there? This recent study finds that “Pediatric chronic disease prevalence has risen to nearly 30% in the last 20 years.”

Also consider this new scientific study of 18,000± children. In layperson’s terms, it concluded that children who received zero or few vaccinations were significantly healthier than those who more closely adhered to the CDC recommendations!!!

Some Positive Developments —

One breath of fresh air is a new lawsuit against the CDC’s recommendation of 72 injections. Read it carefully.

Another optimistic development is that RFKjr has replaced all the people on the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) board with fresh-faced experts. Contrary to what the lamestream media would like you to believe, these are good people.

The Bottom Line —

What Is the ‘Root Cause’ of Crime?

As President Donald Trump seeks to bolster law enforcement in America’s most crime-ridden cities, a shocking public transit murder caught on camera threatens to steer the conversation sideways. On August 22, a young Ukrainian refugee, Iryna Zarutska, was minding her own business on a Charlotte commuter train, when a hooded man, who happened to be black — a complete stranger with a history of mental illness and a long rap sheet — stole up behind her and stabbed her to death. The coldblooded killing kickstarted a conflagration of commentary about not only the solution to crime, but also its root causes.

“We will never arrest our way out [of] issues such [as] homelessness and mental health,” insisted Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles (D). So, instead of “villainizing those who struggle with their mental health or those who are unhoused,” she declared, Zarutska’s murder “should force us to look at what we are doing across our community to address root causes.”

These comments naturally produced fierce criticism from conservatives. By framing the issue as one of homelessness and mental health instead of crime, Lyles cast the true problem as an unavoidable side-effect of other social ills, refused to do anything about it, and vilified all homeless and mentally ill people in the process. “If, instead of being out on the streets, he had been in prison, this would not have happened,” argued National Review’s Charlie Cooke, in an exemplary critique. “Or, to put it another way: If the authorities had done their jobs, they could absolutely have ‘arrested their way out of’ this murder.”

Readers can find many such critiques online; this article proposes to engage with Lyles’ deeper allusion to the “root causes” of social ills. She deserves credit for raising the deeper question, even if it was only a political expedient, and even if diving deeper soon led her beyond her depth.

Nearly 2,000 years ago, the Apostle James, writing by the Holy Spirit, asked and answered a substantively similar question, in Tuesday’s reading of the Stand on the Word Bible reading plan. “What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you?” (James 4:1).

Adherents of expressive individualism — the dominant cultural philosophy in the contemporary West — believe all meaning is derived with reference to the internal self (and particularly one’s internal feelings). Here is the rare opportunity where that instinct is correct. The search for a “root cause” to human strife and misery leads inevitably back to the sinful passions of the human heart.

A skeptic may wonder whether “passions at war within” a person can really provide a sufficient explanation for a senseless murder. In fact, that’s the first example James employs, “You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel” (James 4:2).

It’s unlikely that James intends to state that members of Christian audience have committed literal murder. Instead, this is likely one of many allusions in James’s short letter to the Sermon on the Mount, where Jesus teaches that anger is the heart equivalent of murder (Matthew 5:22). The apostle John also echoed the Master’s teaching when he stated, “everyone who hates his brother is a murderer” (1 John 3:15).

In other words, it doesn’t take an involved study of homelessness or mental illness to locate the “root causes” for crimes such as murder. Wherever anger and hatred are present — as in every human heart — then the key ingredients are already detectable.

The question is, how will people respond when stimulated to anger or hatred? Will they lash out violently? Or will they war against these passions of their flesh? The progressive solution erases human responsibility, while this question accentuates it.

These themes — sinful desire, hatred, and individual responsibility — were all present in the very first murder. No sooner had creation fallen under the curse than Adam and Eve’s firstborn son laid violent hands upon his brother. Cain was angry because he desired what Abel received — God’s favor (Genesis 4:5). The Lord warned Cain that “sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, and you must rule over it” (Genesis 4:7). In other words, sin would try to control Cain, but he must not let it control him. Alas, Cain ignored God’s warning and received God’s curse (Genesis 4:8, 11).

There is nowhere further to go in exploring the “root causes” of crimes such as murder. Though created good, mankind has fallen into a wretched, sinful state. The question then becomes what, if anything, government can do about it.

Given the Bible’s teaching that evil deeds flow out of sinful human hearts, a human government can do little to correct the problem. Human magistrates have neither authority nor power over the soul. The best they can do is “bear the sword” as “an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer” (Romans 13:4). Thus, magistrates can deter and prevent crime by arresting and punishing criminals. But they cannot resolve the “root cause” of crime, which is the sinful nature of post-Fall mankind.

However, this is one point where the gulf between and biblical worldview and progressivism (and liberalism) is at its widest. The materialist, secular philosophy dominant in American culture today holds that people are basically good. According to worldview researcher George Barna, “only half of American adults believe that everyone has sinned,” he said on “Washington Watch.”

A corollary to this belief is that humans only turn to crime when their nature is warped by external factors such as homelessness or mental illness (as Lyles expressed above). In other words, crime is not the criminal’s fault. While this claim may consistently apply secularism’s unprovable claims about human nature, it fails to persuade because it fails to adequately explain the observable fallenness of creation.

Nevertheless, some progressive ideologues are persuaded by this incomplete view of human nature, and they are applying their worldview to criminal justice practices in America’s largest cities. Unsurprisingly, the result of not holding criminals responsible for their crime has been an increase in crime. “We have to begin to restore the fundamental value of law enforcement, actually support them in the court systems, [and] quit making them the enemy,” pleaded security expert Tim Miller on “Washington Watch.”

Miller warned that the ultimate alternative to public order enforced by cops is not a cop-free anarchy, but a totalitarian crackdown welcomed by beleaguered citizens desperate to see safety restored. “We do not want the U.S. military or the National Guard to be the foundation for peace and security in our country,” he said.

In terms of Trump’s urban cleanup initiatives, this means that “the National Guard is like a strong antibiotic that’s dealing with an infection, or at least the symptoms of that infection,” said FRC President Tony Perkins. “It’s not a long term solution, but to come in and get things cleaned up to a point where it’s safer — I would take it in a heartbeat,” argued Kyle Campbell, single mother to two young daughters on “Washington Watch.” “We don’t understand why this political leadership is failing to keep its residents and citizens safe. They seem to really be adamant about not doing that.”

But “the true underlying issue is the spiritual decay in our country, and that can’t be addressed by the government,” Perkins added. “It’s going to be incumbent upon the church and Christians to really deal with the spiritual malaise in this country if we want to address the law-and-order issue.”

“The bottom line is, without repentance and revival, our country is doomed,” Miller agreed. “We have to have a restoration that values human life — all human life — and protects them.”

Many young Americans marry marijuana in grade school and junior high under the false belief that they can “divorce” it at will or have no major life consequences. Although it is being proposed to reclassify marijuana with other drugs like testosterone, marijuana is a hallucinogen – psychoactive, mind-altering drug – that can become habitual and addictive.

Symptoms of marijuana psychosis are characterized by a loss of touch with reality and include:

  • Delusions. A delusion is a false belief that a person has in spite of evidence to the contrary. For instance, a person who is delusional may believe they can play the piano when in reality they never have.
  • Hallucinations. To hallucinate means to experience sounds, feelings, voices, images, and other sensations that are not real. The person experiencing the hallucinations believes they are real. As an example, someone may feel insects crawling on their skin when really there is nothing there at all.
  • Dissociation/depersonalization. Feeling detached from reality is a common symptom of psychosis. A person may feel unattached from his or her own body, as if they are floating outside of it, or may feel as if people and things around them aren’t real.
  • Disorganized thoughts. Psychosis can cause a person’s thoughts to be disordered and chaotic. It can trigger persistent and disturbing thoughts as well. Other people may struggle to understand what someone is saying when that person’s thoughts are so disorganized.

Trafficking victims endured ‘horrible conditions’ in U.S. illegal drug operation

Police in California discovered dozens of people forced to work in illicit marijuana business after being brought across border

Dozens of human trafficking victims were forced to work on an illegal marijuana operation while living in “horrible conditions”, California authorities said.

The Merced county sheriff’s office in the state’s Central valley this week found 60 people, including men, women and at least one child, at an operation. The group arrived several days earlier and was promised good-paying jobs and a place to stay, law enforcement said in a statement.

“Once there, they were forced to process marijuana while staying in horrible living conditions to pay back the individuals that brought them across the border,” the statement continued, without giving details on those conditions.

California legalized marijuana in 2016, bringing a once clandestine industry into the mainstream, and now has dispensaries across much of the state along with delivery services and cannabis cafes. But the illicit market has continued to thrive as growers seek to avoid high tax rates paid by legal cannabis businesses.

Workers often face perilous conditions and exploitation in the marijuana industry. An investigation by the Los Angeles Times found that the largely immigrant workforce are “subjected to abuse, wage theft, threats of violence and squalid and hazardous conditions”. Earlier this year, the state created a team dedicated to addressing cannabis related labor trafficking.

In Merced county, deputies served a search warrant on Wednesday afternoon at a site on unincorporated land near the city of Merced and discovered the operation. Images posted online by the Merced county sheriff’s office showed trays, bags and boxes stuffed with what looked to be marijuana in a run-down interior space with ceilings that appeared to be collapsing.

“We literally have thousands of pounds of finished marijuana from an illegal grow and illegal source,” Warnke said in a video.

“These folks are indentured, they owe money … they’re scared to death,” Warnke said. “It’s heart-wrenching. So we’re going to try and take care of these folks,” he added.

Authorities did not disclose their countries of origin.

Three goats and two dogs that were not being cared for adequately were also rescued, according to the statement.

No arrests were made but investigators were “working tirelessly to find the individuals responsible”, the sheriff’s office said.

The men and women forced to work on the property have been connected to resources, the sheriff’s office said, and are not facing charges.

“They’re victims in this and it’s an active investigation,” a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office told the Merced Sun Star.

Inside Chinese-funded and staffed marijuana farms springing up across US : NPR

Last summer, New Mexico state special agents inspecting a farm found thousands more cannabis plants than state laws allow. Then on subsequent visits, they made another unexpected discovery: dozens of underfed, shell-shocked Chinese workers.

The workers said they had been trafficked to the farm in Torrance County, N.M., were prevented from leaving and never got paid.

“They looked weathered,” says Lynn Sanchez, director of a New Mexico social services nonprofit who was called in after the raid. “They were very scared, very freaked out.”

They are part of a new pipeline of migrants leaving China and making unauthorized border crossings into the United States via Mexico, and many are taking jobs at hundreds of cannabis farms springing up across the U.S.

An NPR investigation into a cluster of farms, which the industry calls cannabis “grow” operations, in New Mexico found businesses that employ and are managed and funded largely by Chinese people. They’re seeking opportunities in a flourishing U.S. cannabis market after the coronavirus pandemic led to a global economic crisis. But some of the businesses have run afoul of the law, even as states such as New Mexico have legalized marijuana.

Getting out of China

One of the workers encountered at the farm in Torrance County is 41-year-old L., who came from China’s central Hubei province a year ago. He asked NPR to use only his first initial because he is anxious about legal prosecution in the U.S. and China.
