Biden humiliated as Russia and Iran strikes major 20-year energy deal

Amid the invasion of Ukraine, Russia has expanded its energy ties with Iran, another country that has butted heads with the US in the past. Diplomats from the two countries discussed the second and third phases of the expansion of the Bushehr nuclear plant with Iran, which was built by Russia. Meanwhile, energy companies from Moscow are also set to play a larger role in Iran’s petrochemical industry, posing another hurdle for Western countries that are desperately trying to end their reliance on Russian fossil fuel exports.

The European Union is heavily dependent on Russian gas, having imported 40 percent of its supply from Moscow in 2021.

Last week, Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Alexander Novak, headed a high-level delegation to Iran to discuss their alliance.

According to Iran’s Petroleum Minister, Javad Owji, Russia has already allocated part of its $5billion (almost £4billion) funds promised for Iranian energy, agricultural, and transport projects.

Russia and Iran plan to expand their annual trade to at least $40billion within the next three years.

According to Mr Owji, Tehran and Moscow will significantly increase their cooperation in the financial and banking sector, oil, gas, petrochemicals, and nuclear energy.

He also noted that the two countries have agreed to conduct their bilateral trade in their own currency.

This deal could be a huge boost for rubles, which took a major hit after Western countries sanctioned nearly all aspects of the Russian economy following the invasion of Ukraine….

America in the 1970s was dealing with an oil crisis, and high inflation and interest rates – some nearly 20%. We are already in an energy crisis. This Administration’s war on oil and gas, supported by Casten and Newman, is turning into a war on the American people.

To combat rising inflation, the Fed has raised interest rates by the largest amount in 2 decades. This is just the start of frequent rate hikes that will happen this year. Higher interest rates will increase the burden of debt and reduce the purchase of large assets – like cars and homes, further slowing the economy.

We are getting squeezed.

Americans need to brace for some very difficult times. Our government has forgotten the American people. Many are dealing with the choice of putting gas in their car or food on their table. This, coupled with higher prices for all retail products, is reducing disposable income, which means fewer vacations and dinners out.

As paychecks are spent on necessities, other industries, like travel, hospitality, and entertainment, will suffer. The trickle-down effect will send shockwaves throughout all sectors of the economy. No industry will be safe from setbacks. Jobs will be lost. This is a perfect storm for a devastating economic crisis.

The only way out of this will be to repeal failed policy and institute a return to energy independence while rebuilding American self-sufficiency. Promoting all forms of energy (solar, wind, hydro, coal, and other fossil fuels – and even nuclear) and letting the free market identify the best option rather than the government is a better approach. Returning manufacturing to the U.S. will reduce our dependency on foreign nations and strengthen America.

This Administration’s progressive experiment has failed and is hurting Americans. We need to return to policies that lower the cost of living, support American small businesses, and strengthen our presence on the world stage.

The U.S. currently has 75 George Soros-backed prosecutors overseeing half of America’s 50 most populous cities, according to a new report from the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund (LELDF).

Traditionally, elections for district attorney have been quiet affairs,” reads LELDF’s report. “That changed recently as millions of campaign dollars have flowed into these down ballot contests.

FINDINGS:

• The US currently has at least 75 Soros-Backed social justice prosecutors, supported through campaign dollars and/or Soros-funded progressive infrastructure groups.
• These 75 prosecutors represent more than1 in 5 Americans or more than 72 million people, including half of America’s 50 most populous cities and counties.
• From 2018 to 2021, Soros spent$13 million on just 10 prosecutors’ races, where his organizations were by far the biggest spender in the race and comprised the majority of the progressive candidate’s campaign spending – as much as 90% in some cases.
• To date, Soros has spent more than$40 million on direct campaign spending over the past decade to elect prosecutors.
• Soros uses a series of shell organizations, affiliates, and pass-through committees to steer contributions to both candidates and his robust support network for progressive prosecutors, which provide gravitas and

The US experienced 4 surge patterns: in New England and the Northeast, excess deaths surged in the spring; in the Southeast and Southwest, in the summer and early winter; in the Plains, Rocky Mountains, and far West, primarily in early winter; and in the Great Lakes, bimodally, in the spring and early winter (Figure).
  4. Deaths by State: JAMA Network reported excess deaths were increasing in all regions at the end of 2020. The governor held the press conference to announce that the state of Florida would be providing $100 million for Florida’s cancer research centers, after he signs the state budget into law.

Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) has vowed to fight back in the wake of reports that President Joe Biden and his administration planned to tie school lunch program funding to policies that adhered to radical gender ideology.

Touting his state’s 2022-2023 “Freedom First Budget,” DeSantis said that he would make sure Florida was prepared to fight back if the Biden administration stripped funding for public school lunch programs over his state’s move to bar teachers from presenting classroom instruction on gender identity and sexual identity to children in kindergarten through third grade.

“In Florida, we are fighting against Biden’s intentionally destructive policies like denying school lunches for states that refuse to implement woke gender ideology in the schools,” DeSantis tweeted on Sunday.

“We’re prepared for what Biden throws our way,” DeSantis said. “And, you know, yes, part of it’s the inflation and the gas — part of it are intentionally destructive policies like trying to deny school lunch programs for states that don’t do transgender ideology in the schools, I mean, give me a break!”

“Totally off his rocker to be doing that,” DeSantis continued. “We’re fighting on that, don’t worry. So we’re just prepared to be able to defend the taxpayers and the hard-working people in the state of Florida, and I couldn’t be prouder for doing that.”

DeSantis was responding to reports that Biden planned to link programs that provide free or low-cost lunches to students to school and state policies, demanding that they adhere to transgender non-discrimination policies. According to the USDA, the move comes as a result of the Biden administration’s expansion — by executive order — of Title IX to include discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation.

“Schools awarded money from the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), an agency within USDA, must specify in their policies that discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation is prohibited, the department announced in May. It also said allegations of such discrimination must be investigated,” Fox News reported.

Fight for Schools Executive Director Ian Prior told Fox News, “What you’re seeing here is really the Biden administration saying, ‘You’re going to do what I want or I’m going to take your lunch money.’ For the federal government to come in and really tie school nutrition and school lunch programs to this radical ideology is terrifying, and it’s appalling.”

Questions the Climate Police Won’t Answer

A number of articles have appeared recently raising really good questions the climate police can’t or won’t answer.  Here are just some of them:

How much battery storage will be required to handle a worst-case scenario of a solid week when the wind doesn’t blow and the sun doesn’t shine after we ‘transition’ to green energy and everybody is supposed heat their homes and run their cars with electric power?  Who has made that calculation and what does it show about how realistic Biden’s green energy ‘transition’ is?

How realistic is it to expect people to eat bugs and seaweed, as the climate police would have us do, just to save the planet?  ‘In the future, you will eat bugs and be happy’ isn’t going to cut it.  By the way, the climate police weren’t kidding.  They’re already feeding bugs to schoolkids in Britain.

How can we trust computer climate models when they all assume different temperature inputs, are wrong about stratospheric cooling, are bad at predicting rainfall, and can’t even model regional climate accurately?  And you’re telling me these models know with certainty what the climate will be a hundred years from now for the entire planet?  Who are you kidding?

Why is Arctic ice at 30-year high when the planet is supposedly burning up and Al Gore repeated scientists’ claims there wouldn’t be any Arctic ice at all by 2013?

How can scientists say sea level rise is getting worse when tide gauges show no rise in rates where the land is not sinking, and sinking land accounts for the supposed rise in in the Tidewater area of Virginia and the Mississippi Delta region?  I will make a prediction.  The climate industry will soon fake the data from tide gauges like they did with satellite surface temperature data.  Satellite data weren’t showing a warming earth, so they were changed to fit the narrative, changed from actual temperatures to what they should have been as predicted by bogus computer models.  You can expect these same dishonest liars to attempt to pass off modeled tide gauge data as actual data in the near future.

While we’re talking about data, why has global warming paused for the last 20 years when carbon emissions are ‘worse than ever’?  Why can’t the climate police explain the pause?

How come nobody talks about how electric cars can explode, cause fires that can’t be put out, and can electrocute you?  Isn’t this the same Left that sued the tobacco industry for hiding all the bad news about smoking causing lung cancer not so long ago?  I guess hiding the bad news is OK when ‘we do it, because we’re good people’.  The ends justify the greens.

Why do the greenies keep pushing plastics recycling when making new plastic is cheaper, and recycling plastic produces 55 times more carbon emissions than sticking it in a landfill?

Why isn’t anybody talking about the World Bank study which concluded one hundred percent solar, wind, and electric battery energy would be “just as destructive to the planet as fossil fuels”?  Such a transition would require unfathomable amounts of copper, lead, zinc, aluminum and iron – not to mention unsustainable quantities of rare earth minerals – all of which would end up as toxic landfill.   This transition would also require impossible amounts of land for wind and solar power – the size of five South Dakotas, by one estimate.  How is any of this green?  The only green I see are the dollars bills the climate swindlers are counting while laughing all the way to the bank.

Last question: why is anybody still falling for any of this malarkey?  I hope you’re not.

Doctors Sue Biden Admin for Unlawfully Blocking Them from Treating COVID-19 Patients with Ivermectin

A group of doctors has filed a lawsuit against Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration for unlawfully blocking them from using ivermectin to treat COVID-19.

The suit is filed against the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

It also names HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra and FDA Commissioner Robert M. Califf as defendants.

In the filing, plaintiffs Mary Talley Bowden, Paul E. Marik, and Robert L. Apter argue that by publicly ordering health professionals and patients to avoid ivermectin, the FDA both acted outside of its authority.

They say the FDA inhibited the doctors’ ability to practice medicine.

Though the FDA has approved ivermectin to treat certain infections, the department has urged the public not to use the drug to treat COVID-19.

“Attempts by the FDA to influence or intervene in the doctor-patient relationship amount to interference with the practice of medicine, the regulation of which is—and always has been—reserved to states,” the lawsuit said.

“The FDA breached this critical boundary between federal and state authority by directing the public, including health professionals and patients, not to use ivermectin to treat COVID-19, even though the drug remains fully approved for human use.”

The filing emphasizes that the case is not about the efficacy of ivermectin in treating COVID-19: rather, it said, “it’s about who determines the appropriate treatment for each unique patient and whether the FDA can interfere with that process.”

“Since the pandemic began, I have had one mission – help my patients,” Bowden said following the filing.

“I provided access to testing when testing was hard to find.

“I provided treatment when other doctors told my patients to stay home.

“I have kept over 3,900 patients out of the hospital, but it hasn’t been easy.”

Bowden was “derided by Houston Methodist Hospital and forced to resign her privileges there as a result” of her ivermectin recommendations for treating COVID-19, the lawsuit said.

I have to wonder if little Miss Sara Beth Wyatt as Chair of our School Board would order one of the four Sheriff Deputies present at all of our Polk County School Board meetings to remove us if we spoke to them like this.

AOC Slams Congress as ‘Corrupt,’ Full of Decay, Moral Emptiness

Radical Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) slammed Congress on Saturday for being corrupt and full of “so much decay and moral emptiness” after failing to pass radical policies to “fundamentally transform” the country, as Barack Obama once put it so ominously.

“It’s just really wild to be a person that works in a corrupt institution, which is what Congress is,” AOC stated. “And to try and be a normal person surrounded by so much decay and moral emptiness — that frankly transcends party — is very difficult.”

Her lament comes after her fellow radicals failed to convince the Senate to pass the socialist “Build Back Better” package, thanks largely to moderate Democrat holdout Sen. Joe Manchin.

“It should not surprise anyone that Senator Joe Manchin went on Fox News to kill the Build Back Better Act — he’s been promising to do it for months, and some folks did not want to believe him,” AOC’s fellow “Squad” leftist Rep. Rashida Tlaib complained at the time.

Whether AOC qualifies as “a normal person,” as she put it, is a topic for another day, but it’s worth noting that conservatives and AOC finally agree on something: Congress is corrupt and morally empty.

Remembering 78th Anniversary of D-Day

Today – June 6, 2022 – is the 78th anniversary of the invasion of Normandy.

On that day soldiers, sailors, Marines, and airmen braved the horrendous shelling of German shore batteries to storm the beaches at Normandy and bring down Hitler and Nazi Germany.

On the eve of the invasion, General Eisenhower distributed the order to the expeditionary force of 175,000 men which closed by beseeching “the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking.”

More than 2,500 American troops died on the beaches that day.

Also, in the words of  Franklin D. Roosevelt broadcast that day, “in this poignant hour, I ask you to join with me in prayer:

Almighty God: Our sons, pride of our Nation, this day have set upon a mighty endeavor, a struggle to preserve our Republic, our religion, and our civilization, and to set free a suffering humanity.

Lead them straight and true; give strength to their arms, stoutness to their hearts, steadfastness in their faith.

They will need Thy blessings. Their road will be long and hard. For the enemy is strong. He may hurl back our forces. Success may not come with rushing speed, but we shall return again and again; and we know that by Thy grace, and by the righteousness of our cause, our sons will triumph.

They will be sore tried, by night and by day, without rest-until the victory is won. The darkness will be rent by noise and flame. Men’s souls will be shaken with the violences of war.

Biden Seeks End to Title 42 While Closing Federal Training Center Because of COVID

President Abraham Lincoln’s historic Gettysburg Address concluded with this powerful and aspirational excerpt, “…that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom — and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”

It is hard to equate the actions of the current administration with any desire to truly provide a government of the people, by the people and for the people, except perhaps for the people who profit from the immorally bankrupt and corrupt polices of the Biden administration.

America’s borders and immigration laws represent our nation’s first line of defense and last line of defense against aliens whose presence is a threat to national security, public safety and public health. America’s borders and immigration laws are also supposed to protect Americans’ jobs and wages.

In point of fact, a review of a section of law that is an integral part of the Immigration and Nationality Act, 8 U.S. Code § 1182 (Inadmissible Aliens) will irrevocably prove my point.

Further substantiation of the nexus between border security and national security can be found in the official report, “9/11 and Terrorist Travel – Staff Report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States.” This report focused specifically on the ability of the terrorists to travel around the world, enter the United States, and ultimately embed themselves in the country as they went about preparing to carry out a deadly attack.

The preface of this report begins with the following paragraph:

It is perhaps obvious to state that terrorists cannot plan and carry out attacks in the United States if they are unable to enter the country. Yet prior to September 11, while there were efforts to enhance border security, no agency of the U.S. government thought of border security as a tool in the counterterrorism arsenal. Indeed, even after 19 hijackers demonstrated the relative ease of obtaining a U.S. visa and gaining admission into the United States, border security still is not considered a cornerstone of national security policy. We believe, for reasons we discuss in the following pages, that it must be made one.

However, the Biden administration has, since its first day in office, sought to dismantle our borders and gut immigration law enforcement without explaining how these actions are in the best interests of America or Americans.

The most recent effort of the Biden administration to encourage a human tsunami of illegal aliens to flood the U.S. involved its plan to have the Center for Disease Control (CDC) terminate Title 42 on May 23, 2022. This strategy was the focus of my recent article, “Title 42 and Chaos on the Border.”

Fortunately, a federal judge blocked Biden from ending Title 42 last month.

Here is where things get really interesting. Title 42 was implemented by the Trump administration to help to discourage massive illegal immigration that would pose a threat to the United States as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and required implementation by the CDC.

Under the Biden administration, the CDC was requested to terminate Title 42.

However, on May 23 – the very same day that the CDC had planned to terminate Title 42 – the Brunswick News reported, “FLETC shutdown, rising cases show pandemic isn’t over.”

(FLETC is an acorn for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. This is the facility where many federal agencies train their law enforcement personnel, both when they are initially hired and while in-service.)

Here is an excerpt from the report:

Even though many of us have returned to a life that is closer to pre-pandemic times, the virus still lingers over our society. We got a reminder of that this week at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.

On Friday, FLETC announced it was suspending training operations at the center due to a rise in COVID-19 cases. FLETC had 168 positive cases of COVID-19 as of Thursday, according to Alan Shefveland, branch chief, FLETC public affairs.

When training was halted, there were 2,853 students representing 68 agencies on the grounds. Approximately 500 are remaining on base, though that number could change. FLETC housed 2,044 students at the center with 414 staying off center.

FLETC’s abrupt training suspension came just a few days after The News reported COVID rates were rising across Georgia again. Ginger Heidel, risk communicator for the Coastal Health District, told The News that the daily average of new cases rose by almost 200% in the last month. Heidel also said the health district, which covers an eight-county area including Glynn, McIntosh and Camden, is seeing similar increases locally.

Nevertheless, the Biden administration announced plans to appeal the federal court’s ruling on rolling back Title 42.

The Biden’s administration’s immigration policies are undermining national security, public safety and public health, and it is clear that Biden could not care less.

Biden’s utter lack of concern for the wellbeing of America and Americans is, to borrow a term, sick, and not consistent with providing for Americans or a creating government that lives up to President Lincoln’s aspirational goals for citizens of the United States.

EXCLUSIVE: Immigrants Travel To Schools With Warning: Socialism Is Deadly

Immigrants who have fled socialist countries are travelling to schools across the U.S. for free under a new program to teach students about the dangers of socialism.

The Dissident Project launched Monday with speakers set to “travel to high schools across the U.S. to speak to students about authoritarian socialism” at no cost to the schools, Dissident Project founder and Venezuelan-born economist Daniel Di Martino told the Daily Caller.

The speakers include activists from Venezuela, Cuba, Hong Kong and North Korea who have immigrated to the U.S. and are dedicated to speaking about how socialism has destroyed their countries.

Grace Jo, a speaker from North Korea, came to the U.S. after almost starving “to death as a child” under the country’s socialist regime. Two of her brothers and her father died from starvation, according to the Dissident Project’s website.

“All of us Dissident Project speakers came to America for freedom, and it is our duty to preserve that love for freedom among the youngest generation. That’s why we’re stepping up and doing our part so Americans never forget that this is an exceptional nation, that free enterprise and the rule of law made it great and that socialism can destroy it all like it did in our native countries,” Di Martino said.

The project was inspired by Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ legislation recognizing a statewide “Victims of Communism Day” annually on Nov. 7 and requiring Florida schools to teach students about “the evils of communism.”

“Honoring the people that have fallen victim to communist regimes and teaching our students about those atrocities is the best way to ensure that history does not repeat itself,” DeSantis said in a statement about the bill in May.

Starting in the 2023-2024 school year, students in Florida will be mandated to receive at least 45 minutes of instruction in their required U.S. Government class about the evils of communism. Potential topics to cover include “Mao Zedong and the Cultural Revolution, Joseph Stalin and the Soviet System, Fidel Castro and the Cuban Revolution, Vladimir Lenin and the Russian Revolution, Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge, and Nicolás Maduro and the Chavismo movement,” according to the bill.

Di Martino began the Dissident Project “after learning about Florida’s new curriculum.”

“I thought we needed a unified platform where schools could find immigrants from socialist countries to speak there at no cost to them so we could reach every single American,” he said.

The Dissident Project will focus its efforts in speaking to school districts in Florida, given DeSantis’ legislation, but will also advertise the opportunity to teachers across the country, Di Martino concluded. Teachers who wish to host a speaker can do so for free by filling out a form.

FLORIDA: Senator Rick Scott supports ‘Red Flag’ Laws which are ‘Gun Control’ Laws

Re: Letter from Florida Senator Rick Scott.

He is being totally disingenuous when he states the following:

“When properly constructed with due process protections, red flag laws are commonsense measures to keep weapons out of the hands of any person who threatens to harm themselves or others.”

“I was proud to recently join Senator Marco Rubio in introducing the Extreme Risk Protection Order and Violence Prevention Act of 2021 (S. 292) that would build on our efforts at the state level to help keep families safe nationwide. I will continue to review any proposal aimed at keeping Americans safe.”

What Scott, Rubio and others aren’t telling people is the following:

  • Florida and Indiana are the only 2 States with such a law and it was passed in less than 2 weeks as a knee jerk reaction to a total failure of LE (Broward County Sheriff and FBI) and School Administration. It passed overwhelmingly by RINOs in the House and by only 1 vote in the Senate. The 48 pages within SB 7026, Marjory Stoneman Douglas Public Safety Act, that codifies the RPO is almost a direct lift of far left Oregon’s Extreme Risk Protection law.
  • RPOs are based on anyone calling LE and complaining that someone is a “threat” without any proof other than a statement and with little investigation by LE. It is basically a rubber stamp process as illustrated by the fact that very few are denied by presiding Judges(s).
  • RPO is a Civil Process not a Criminal one so the judge issuing the RPO only has to have “reasonable suspicion” based on a statement by someone that a person is a threat to themselves or others. The normal legal standard “Beyond Reasonable Doubt is not used in this process.”
  • Normal legal principle of being “innocent until proven guilty” is thrown out the window.
  • Seizure takes place without prior notification and without a hearing involving the person accused of being a threat.
  • The “Respondent” (person accused of being a threat) is not provided with a Public Defender and must hire a private attorney if they expect to prevail at the hearing. On the other hand, LE who request the RPO are represented by their internal attorney(s) at the hearing.
  • If respondent is found to be a threat by the Court they lose possession of their property for 1 year and this can be indefinitely extended.
  • Although a crime has not been committed the respondent is immediately placed in both the FL and National Criminal Data Bases with no procedure spelled out to be taken off. It is very difficult to be taken off.
  • Respondent can receive RPO for something that was said or occurred up to 1 year ago.
  • No provisions are made to properly maintain the respondent’s property and return it in same condition as when seized.
  • Statistics to date in FL reveal that an average of 10% of respondents are found not to be a threat at the after the fact hearing. The respondent has been subjected to a humiliating and frightening process without Due Process or recourse for any kind of recompense. There is no automatic process for removing them from criminal data bases even though no crime has been committed.
  • Those who are stripped of their 2A rights are left defenseless against criminals who will possess and use firearms in committing crimes regardless of any Red Flag laws.
  • The RPO process does not recognize or take into account law abiding gun owners with no prior criminal record with CCW permits meaning they have been through a background check.
  • The RPO can be weaponized and/or politicized against innocent people thus limiting or scaring people from freely exercising their 1st Amendment Rights.

Red Flag Laws are an unconstitutional process which violates 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and 14th Amendments and is trading off individual Liberty for possible but unproven Safety. Senator’s Scott, Rubio and any other so called “law makers” who advocate for such laws are helping the Marxist, Communist Democrats and their ilk to chip away at our God given, Constitutionally guaranteed rights for strictly political purposes.

Dear Mr. Brown,

Thank you for contacting me regarding your concerns about gun violence in America. I appreciate the opportunity to respond.

The safety of our families is always my top priority, and I am a proud supporter of the Constitution, the Second Amendment and the rights of law-abiding citizens. As Governor of Florida, I worked to increase safety measures in Florida’s schools through the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act, which also included a new process to enable law enforcement to seek a judicially issued Extreme Risk Protection Order in appropriate circumstances, commonly referred to as a “red flag” law. When properly constructed with due process protections, red flag laws are commonsense measures to keep weapons out of the hands of any person who threatens to harm themselves or others.

As a United States Senator, I remain focused on making sure that our communities are safe, and that those struggling with mental health issues or threatening harm to themselves or others cannot access or possess a weapon. I was proud to recently join Senator Marco Rubio in introducing the Extreme Risk Protection Order and Violence Prevention Act of 2021 (S. 292) that would build on our efforts at the state level to help keep families safe nationwide. I will continue to review any proposal aimed at keeping Americans safe.
