Mayes Middleton Must Win: Texas Cannot Afford an Attorney General Who Won’t Fight

Let’s be honest: following Ken Paxton is not a job for the faint of heart. For years he took hit after hit from the left, from the media, and from the Austin establishment, and he still delivered victory after victory for Texas. He fought federal overreach in court and won. He fought the Biden administration and won. Whoever steps into that office next inherits a target on their back and a bar set sky-high.

That’s exactly why Mayes Middleton is the man for this fight.

Middleton is not a career politician looking for his next promotion. He is not soft, he is not cautious, and he does not go along to get along. Throughout his time in the Texas Senate, and now on the campaign trail, he has made a habit of taking on the political establishment head-on, even when it costs him friends and favors in Austin.

Take the Austin Swamp. While plenty of politicians talk about draining it, Middleton went after it. He filed legislation to bar public funds from being used to hire lobbyists, a move fellow Republican Steve Toth called a “finger in the eye of the lobbyists.” That is not how you win friends on the capitol cocktail circuit. That is how you fight for the taxpayers who are sick and tired of watching their own money get used against them.

He does not flinch when the radical left comes swinging, either. When Middleton championed a bill allowing voluntary prayer and Bible study in public schools, American Atheists sent him a formal letter of condemnation. A lot of politicians would have buried that letter in a drawer. Middleton put it on display. He knows exactly what side he is on, and he is proud of it, condemnation letters and all.

On the campaign trail, Middleton does not mince words. He is running on one mission: stopping the left cold. He points to his real record drafting and defending conservative laws against wave after wave of Democratic legal challenges as proof that he has the resolve to hold the line as Attorney General. This is not a man who talks tough behind a podium and folds under pressure. This is a man with a track record of standing his ground when it actually mattered.

That fearless attitude is exactly why supporters and endorsers alike describe him as a true “fearless conservative,” one who takes the fight directly to radical policies instead of waiting for someone else to do it. It is why heavyweights like Ken Paxton, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, and other America First leaders have thrown their full support behind his campaign. They know a fighter when they see one.

Born in Wallisville, Middleton comes from generations of Texas ranching and farming families, deep roots that go back further than most political resumes can claim. He runs Middleton Oil Company and manages ranching, cattle, and farming operations across the state. He holds finance and law degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. That background, boardrooms and ranches instead of backroom deals, is exactly what keeps him independent from the political establishment he is now running to hold accountable.

Middleton entered the Texas House of Representatives in 2019 and quickly rose to lead the Texas House Freedom Caucus. Since moving to the Senate to represent District 11, he has built one of the most conservative voting records in the entire legislature. He rejects a state pension. He turns down taxpayer-funded healthcare. He donates his entire legislative salary to local charities. That is not political theater. That is a man who lives what he preaches.

The November 2026 general election against Dallas Democrat Nathan Johnson is not a routine race, and Texans need to treat it that way. This is a defensive line for the entire state. If Republicans lose this office, Texas loses one of its strongest legal shields against federal overreach, the very shield that stopped border catastrophes, blocked unconstitutional mandates, and pushed back against Washington bureaucrats who think they know better than Texans. We cannot afford a weak Attorney General who rolls over the first time Washington applies pressure.

Nathan Johnson represents everything Texans have spent years fighting against a return to open borders, deference to federal regulators, and an Attorney General’s office that goes soft the moment it faces real opposition. Electing him would hand that shield straight back to the people who want to tear it down.

Mayes Middleton has proven, repeatedly, that he has the backbone for the trenches. He does not back down. He does not apologize for fighting hard. And he will not let Texas go undefended.

I will support him to protect Texas, just like Ken Paxton did before him.

Can America Rise Above the Tide of History?

Nothing new here — agree with suthor’s conclustion but he doesn’t cover how to exrcise his recommendation of opening hearts and minds of people.

At least a partial answer is to get churches and church leaders involved in politics (the right side) and this spiritual battle of good vs evil which most don’t do. Also — somehow influence the estimated 20 million evagelicals nationwide who don’t vote in national elections to get off their butts and do so and to vote conservative not progressive. Prayer is important but is not enough without action.

If we can’t overcome the apathy of voters then the only solution will be a 3rd Civil War or counter revolution. The left started the 2nd Civil War/color revolution with LBJs Great Society; continued with Barak Obama’s “fundamental transformation” and Joe Biden’s invasion of illegal aliens which we (especially the Republican party) have not done enough to counter.

Talk and strongly worded letters are not enough. Laws must be passed and enforced like the SAVE Act and to codify Trump’s EOs which will be overturned should Demoncrats retake the Presidency and only way they will do this is by cheating which they are very good at.

Meanwhile, I, my wife, and others in our group are working hard to support conservative candidates; get others to do so as well as getting out the vote in Primaries and General Election. So far we have put out hundreds of candidate yard signs; held weekly flag waves encuraging voting in upcoming Primary Election; done hundreds of door knocks distributing candidate door hangers and palm cards; produced and distributed over 5,000 Voter Guides (see attached below); manned phone banks for endorsed candidates and donated what we can to favored candidates.

So we are putting our energy and time where our mouths are. While doing so, we’re keeping our powder dry ; arms well maintained and adequate ammo on hand.

When Communists/Islamists break out of their Blue City shit holes and try to take what is ours and put me and my family and friends in danger, we’re ready for them. So should every conservative Republican and Independent. Should they just decide to destroy themselves with misery or murder then so be it as long as they stay in their city limits.

Can America Rise Above the Tide of History?

I have reproduced the following quote from historian Sir Alexander Fraser Tytler in the late 18th century many times in my Townhall and other articles over the years. But it is so good, and so perceptive, and so needed, and I constantly have new readers (I hope), that I simply must quote it again and make some relevant comments on current America.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.”

So said a great historian over 200 years ago. Where, gentle reader, do you think America is today in this sequential progression?

Folks, I hate to be a pessimist; I really do. It seems like all I do is write about how horrible things are in the country, how deep into a stinking, putrid, decadent toilet bowl the Democrats are dragging us as rapidly as they can, how Republicans seem to be utterly clueless of what is going on, and/or too gutless to do anything about it. I’d love to write that the country is firmly united together, is soaring to new heights of spiritual, moral, and economic strength, that self-control, righteousness, integrity, honesty, truth, and brotherly love are the dominant characteristics of our people, how virtuous liberty and godly patriotism are something that all Americans cherish and are willing to fight and die for.

I’d love to write about these latter things. But I’m not a liar; at least I try not to be.

I’m a historian, and thus, as realistic as I can possibly be, based on the teachings and trends of the past. And it is plain to me that America has indeed gone through most of the progression that Sir Tytler described. We became a great nation — not perfect, no nation ever is, and Tytler didn’t write about perfection; he wrote about the rise and fall of democracies and nations. Not every people in history — in fact, very, very few actually — have progressed through the sequence Tytler noted. How many readers have ever heard of the Kenezzites, the Kadmonites, the Perizzites, the Amorites, the Girgashites, the Jebusites? Well, if you are a deep student of the Bible, you might recognize them. They are all mentioned in Genesis 15:19-21, but they certainly aren’t household names among most people.

No, most tribes never came close to the progression Tytler described. But America did. From bondage — a colony of England. But then those colonists developed a deep spiritual faith in God, and that led them to a thirst for liberty. Their faith in God produced a great courage, and they fought tyranny and won the liberty they prized. And that virtuous liberty led to the greatest economic power the world has ever seen, an “abundance” unmatched in human history. And yea, we still enjoy that abundance, and should be thankful for it.

But history has a way of biting people on the butt when they fall asleep. Abundance has its price, unless a people are supremely diligent. And Americans have not been. Americans have largely forgotten — and many have come to hate — the spiritual faith the country was built upon. We have followed the road of ancient Israel. God to Moses: “When I have brought them to the land flowing with milk and honey…and they have eaten and filled themselves and grown fat, then they will turn to other gods and serve them; and they will provoke Me…[and] many evils and troubles [shall] come upon them” (Deuteronomy 31:20-21).

That sounds almost exactly like Tytler’s “progression”; or perhaps, Tytler’s progression sounds like God’s. “From abundance to selfishness; from selfishness to apathy; from apathy to dependence; from dependence back into bondage.” America hasn’t gone through Tytler’s (or God’s) full sequence yet, but what right-thinking individual can deny we are a long way down the road — and not on the uphill path.

Sadly, it’s been the way of mankind from the beginning; that’s why Tytler — the historian — wrote what he did. It’s why I currently have trouble finding things optimistic to write about. I’m trying to warn us, not lie and paint a rosy picture of a glorious utopia. And, yes, while there are still many, many great Americans who love the country, who do truly want to “Make America Great Again”…folks, the only way we can “Make America Great Again” is to return to what made us great in the first place — spiritual faith, great courage, a love of virtuous liberty, a faith and appreciation to the God who gave us, too, “a land flowing with milk and honey.” There…will…BE…no greatness, if we don’t, as a nation, restore that which produces greatness. But when half of America has been taught to hate the country and the God Who blessed them supremely — and that pile of hypocritical haters has been among the paramount possessors and enjoyers of the very blessings they curse, failing to acknowledge it because they are nothing but a brood of vipers — well, pardon me when I have trouble being optimistic. Selfishness…apathy… dependence…bondage.

Americans are humans, too, and apparently aren’t the kind of people who can defy history and rise above the tide. Sad, but nobody else has ever done it, either.

America will turn it around when all Americans open their eyes and hearts again. There is no other way.

Time for a Renaissance of American Public Service

America has no shortage of critics. What it increasingly lacks are American citizens willing to step forward and serve.

A republic cannot survive indefinitely as a spectator sport, with millions of people shouting from the sidelines while expecting someone else to defend the country, administer justice, strengthen the community, and preserve the institutions on which freedom depends.

Self-government requires more than opinions. It requires participation.

Yet the habits of active citizenship remain disturbingly weak. In the 2024 presidential election, just 65.3% of the citizen voting-age population cast a ballot. Only 28.3% of Americans formally volunteered through an organization in 2023. And according to the Defense Department, just 11% of young people ages 16 to 21 say they are likely to serve in the military in the next few years.

Jury duty, meanwhile, is often treated not as a privilege of citizenship but as an inconvenience to be avoided.

This is not because Americans are selfish or unpatriotic. But we have created a culture in which citizenship is treated as something one possesses rather than practices.

We speak endlessly about rights and benefits, but far less about duties and sacrifice. That imbalance erodes the habits a free society depends on.

The Founders understood that no Constitution, however brilliantly designed, could sustain liberty without civic virtue. Institutions matter, but they rely on citizens prepared to place something larger than themselves ahead of comfort and convenience.

As James Madison warned at the Virginia Ratifying Convention on June 20, 1788, “To suppose that any form of government will secure liberty or happiness without any virtue in the people, is a chimerical idea.”

Service is not limited to wearing a uniform, though military service remains one of its noblest forms. It includes volunteering as a firefighter or EMT, mentoring a struggling student, assisting the elderly, serving on a local board, joining a disaster-relief effort, coaching a youth team, or simply showing up when summoned for jury duty.

Together, these acts sustain the bonds on which a nation depends.

They also shape those who perform them.

Service teaches discipline, patience, and responsibility. It forces people to encounter fellow citizens outside their usual social, economic, and ideological circles. A young person who spends a year helping veterans, rebuilding homes, or tutoring children learns that the country is more complicated—and more human—than the caricatures presented on social media.

In an era of deep fragmentation, that experience matters even more.

Americans are increasingly isolated from one another. They shop online, work remotely, consume personalized media, and retreat into political and cultural enclaves. The result is a country in which people are connected to their screens yet increasingly disconnected from one another.

Civic service offers an antidote. It brings people together around a common task and reminds us that citizenship carries obligations as well as rights.

What America needs now is a renaissance of public service, particularly among the young.

This need not take the form of compulsory national service imposed by Washington. A federal mandate would undercut the voluntary spirit that gives such service much of its meaning, while another vast bureaucracy would quickly become wasteful and politicized.

The better approach is to make opportunities to serve easier to find, more rewarding, and more respected.

States should create public-service fellowships that allow young adults to spend six months or a year working with local governments, charities, faith-based organizations, and emergency services. Participants could receive modest stipends and education or vocational-training grants.

High schools should encourage students to undertake serious service projects as part of civic education, not as résumé padding but as instruction in citizenship. Colleges and employers should give meaningful credit to applicants who have demonstrated sustained service. Businesses should be encouraged to offer employees limited paid leave for jury duty, National Guard obligations, and volunteering.

The military must also regain a more visible place in American life. Schools should welcome recruiters, expand JROTC opportunities, and teach students that service in the armed forces is not merely a career option but an honorable calling.

Above all, parents, teachers, clergy, and public officials should speak about service with admiration.

Young people notice what a society chooses to honor. When a society glorifies influencers, celebrities, and instant wealth while barely noticing the volunteer firefighter or the Army recruit, they absorb the message.

That message must change.

The purpose of this effort is not to enlarge government. It is to strengthen citizenship.

A nation of passive consumers will eventually lose the habits necessary to preserve liberty. By contrast, a nation of active citizens, accustomed to responsibility and sacrifice, will be far more resilient.

That is how a republic renews itself, preserves liberty, and passes it on to posterity.

America does not need another argument about what the country owes us. It needs more Americans asking what they owe the country.

The VDH Doctrine: Bypass Tehran, Recognize Reza Pahlavi’s Government-in-Exile

For over four decades, Washington’s posture toward the Islamic Republic of Iran has oscillated between containment, targeted economic sanctions, and episodic diplomatic engagement. Historian and military strategist Victor Davis Hanson argues that this paradigm has proven utterly ineffective at checking Tehran’s regional aggression or supporting the democratic aspirations of the Iranian public. During a high-profile broadcast exchange with commentator Mark Levin, Hanson put forward a provocative shift in U.S. foreign policy: formal diplomatic recognition of an Iranian government-in-exile headed by Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi.

Hanson’s proposal fundamentally challenges the conventional wisdom of Middle Eastern diplomacy. Rather than treating the clerical regime as the permanent, sole legitimate authority in Tehran, the United States would actively construct a parallel diplomatic reality — one that isolates the ruling theocracy, provides an institutional anchor for internal and external opposition, and charts a credible path toward democratic restoration.

The core of Victor Davis Hanson’s proposal rests on fundamentally shifting American foreign policy away from the perpetual management of the Islamic Republic and toward its active delegitimization. During his discussions with Mark Levin, Hanson argued that decades of containment, economic sanctions, and episodic negotiations have only subsidized the clerical regime’s survival while ignoring the overwhelmingly secular, pro-Western aspirations of the Iranian public. By proposing that Washington explicitly bypass Tehran and formally recognize an Iranian government-in-exile, Hanson challenges the traditional diplomatic status quo. This strategy aims to strip the ruling theocracy of its international standing, isolate its diplomatic channels, and create a structured external pressure point that forces the regime to absorb the full financial and political costs of its domestic tyranny and regional proxy warfare.

The core pillar of Hanson’s argument is that the United States must stop according de facto legitimacy to the Islamic Republic. For decades, Western powers have operated under the assumption that negotiations — whether over nuclear proliferation, regional proxies, or maritime trade — are the only practical mechanism for managing Iranian hostility. Hanson rejects this premise, asserting that engaging with the regime merely subsidizes its survival and undermines most of the Iranian populace, who remain inherently secular, anti-theocratic, and pro-Western.

By formally recognizing a government-in-exile, Washington would send a clear signal: the ruling clerics no longer possess the legal or moral authority to represent the state of Iran on the global stage. Hanson emphasizes that the U.S. should explicitly refuse to negotiate with the current regime and instead engage directly with this provisional alternative. This shift would strip Tehran of its status as an accepted diplomatic actor, isolating its diplomats, restricting its international standing, and forcing the regime to absorb the full political and financial costs of its domestic oppression and regional subversion.

A central pillar of this strategy is establishing a unified political anchor by tapping Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi to head the provisional government under strict, conditional parameters. Rather than facilitating the return of an absolute monarchy, Hanson stresses that U.S. recognition must be contingent on Pahlavi acting strictly as a temporary steward whose primary mandate is organizing free, multi-party democratic elections within one to two years of the regime’s collapse. This approach directly addresses the historic fragmentation of the Iranian opposition, providing internal dissidents, potential military defectors, and foreign allies with a legitimate focal point. By pairing Pahlavi’s long-standing advocacy for secular democratic pluralism with formal Western backing, Hanson’s framework seeks to convert passive resistance into an organized successor state ready to manage a stable post-theocratic transition.

Crucially, Hanson specifies that U.S. recognition must be conditional. The exile government and Pahlavi must commit to a binding agreement: upon returning to a liberated Iran, the interim administration must organize and conduct free, multi-party democratic elections within one to two years. This constraint addresses historical anxieties regarding dynamic power shifts in the region, ensuring that the provisional authority serves strictly as a bridge to a secular republic or constitutional framework chosen directly by the Iranian nation.

As Mark Levin noted during their discussion, Pahlavi has spent decades advocating for political pluralism, secularism, and human rights rather than personal power. Structuring recognition around a strict transitional deadline guarantees that the government-in-exile remains a vehicle for democratic self-determination rather than an autocratic alternative.

One of the greatest historical obstacles facing the Iranian pro-democracy movement has been fragmentation. While internal uprisings — such as the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement — demonstrate widespread domestic resistance, the lack of an organized political head has allowed the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to suppress protests piecemeal.

An officially recognized government-in-exile fundamentally alters this dynamic:

  • Unified Political Anchor: It provides a singular, legitimate focal point around which internal dissidents, military defectors, and international allies can rally.
  • Administrative & Financial Utility: A formal exile entity could issue international documentation, establish independent funding channels, and represent Iranian national assets currently frozen abroad.

‘Missing His Daughter Grow Up’: The Pain of a Cuban and Christian Political Prisoner

A young mathematics graduate who raised pigs to feed his wife and daughter taught himself — using a gifted camera — how to edit videos during the rare hours his city wasn’t suffering blackouts. Within weeks, he became one of the most influential independent political voices on an island that hasn’t held free elections in nearly 70 years.

The story might seem hard to follow, but it is real — and grim. The young man is Ernesto Ricardo Medina (“Tico”), co-founder (alongside Kamil Zayas) of the viral audiovisual project El4tico, where he blended his faith with criticism of the Cuban socialist tyranny. In August, he marks six months of imprisonment on charges of “propaganda against the constitutional order” and “incitement to commit a crime.”

The life he left behind on the morning of his arrest — February 6 — includes the significant presence he built on social media platforms like Facebook, where he had 137,000 followers. But even more importantly, he left behind his family: his 4-year-old daughter, Emma, and his wife, Doris Santiesteban.

Doris stood by him when he was a free man, and she stands by him now as one of the Castro regime’s more than 1,200 political prisoners. I am speaking today with Doris — who, despite her naturally private nature, posts videos and messages on social media every day calling for her husband’s freedom.

How did you and Ernesto meet?

I’ve known Tico for many years, but the truth is, we had never actually spoken to one another.

We only grew closer after I started working at a café in the city of Holguín — where we both live. From that moment on, we were together; that’s how we got to where we are now.

We’ve seen several family videos you’ve shared on Facebook alongside calls for Tico’s freedom. In one, he’s playing with Emma, who is laughing uproariously in her crib. What is Tico like as a father?

As a father, Tico was always there for Emma. He was her prince and protector — the strong one. Honestly, the saddest part of this whole bitter situation for him has been being kept away from watching his daughter grow up all this time.

What do you think drove him to start El4tico?

El4tico, as a media phenomenon, was something that just happened spontaneously.

A friend gave us the camera, and Tico started using it to record random things. Then one day, he invited some friends over to talk, and in the midst of venting, the topic of politics in this country came up.

He and Kamil just wanted to express what they’ve experienced as young Cubans today. I can also tell you that they wanted to raise awareness about the situation in Cuba and encourage critical thinking.

When that happened — and Tico started addressing issues more directly against the regime — were you or the family afraid? How did you react?

Yes, of course we were afraid; we knew this could happen.

I’m with him all the way; I support him in everything, and I still do. We continue to trust in God; He is the only one who has the final word and is in control.

On the other hand, the family reacted with fear. Some friends even stopped visiting the house out of fear of repression.

Was there a specific event or El4tico video that made you particularly worried?

I was always worried. But the pressure on Tico started to get worse and became more visible when the sector chief from the Revolutionary National Police (PNR) came to the house. I’d say that was the moment — September 17, 2025 — when this whole ordeal began for our family.

How has Emma reacted? She was 3 years old when the police took Tico away. How does she interact with you?

Emma’s reaction is something I sometimes don’t even know how to explain.

She witnessed everything that happened on the day of the arrest. Then she saw the lonely days that followed at home. She saw me sad, crying. Despite everything, she has been — well, she’s really surprised me. So loving and affectionate. She tells me that she’s always looking after Mom now because Dad isn’t here. To hear her say things like that, at such a young age…

It’s remarkable how social media has been flooded with shows of support — and how, back in early February, a pastor traveled all the way from Las Tunas to pray for you and bring an offering from the church in Cuba. Beyond instances like that, have you felt that sense of solidarity close at hand over these past few months?

Yes, of course.

So many people have reached out to offer everything from prayers to emotional support and companionship.

What is the latest news you’ve had about Ernesto?

I know he’s just surviving right now. The question is, for how long?

Politics By Other Means

Inspired by his service in the Prussian and Russian armies in the Napoleonic wars at the start of the 19th Century, Carl von Clausewitz has left us with many famous sayings from his unfinished treatise, On War, published after his death in 1830.

Among them was that the “fog of war” often obscures what is really happening on the battlefield. Another, which is my theme for today, is that “war is politics by other means.”

President Trump has been criticized in recent weeks by the left and the right for his repeated threats to launch yet another “massive” military strike on Iran, only to relent at the last minute in hopes of some last minute breakthrough in negotiations that would satisfy the two major U.S. goals in this war: the unconditional reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to international shipping, and the end of Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

So far, each time it has happened, the Iranians have backed away from a negotiated settlement, either by new drone or missile strikes against ships in the Strait of Hormuz, or by instructing their proxies to carry out attacks against our Gulf allies. (In recent weeks, they have used Shiite militias in Iraq to attack civilian infrastructure in Kuwait, and the Houthis in Yemen to hit Saudi vessels in the Red Sea). And each time that happens, the United States responds by taking out IRGC assets in southern Iran.

The President has repeatedly expressed his reluctance to inflict massive damage on Iran’s infrastructure, all the while threatening to do so should the Iranian regime not agree to his conditions.

I believe he is trying to find the sweet spot of just enough military pressure to achieve his political goals, without inflicting what he sees as unnecessary and unfortunate damage.

But so far, he has failed to find that sweet spot. The regime — or whoever is calling the shots in Iran — responds with increased aggression: more missiles, more drones, and more irredentist demands.

The latest, on Thursday, was a claim by the Iranian parliament that the regime had reached an agreement with Oman over joint control of the Strait of Hormuz that would inflict a toll of between 5% to 7% on ships transiting the Strait that would bring in an estimated $385 million per day to the Revolutionary Guards to oppress the Iranian people, and to use to build more drones and missiles and to arm their proxies.

The alleged deal would also bar ships from the United States, Israel, and any other country opposing the “Axis of Resistance” from transiting the Strait. That designation would bar Saudi Arabian ships, since the Saudis have been at war with the Houthis for over a decade.

Clearly, such a deal is not just unacceptable: it is outrageous.

If you read the international media, you might forget the whole reason we are even negotiating over the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. It’s because Iran mined the customary passageways in the middle of the Strait at the beginning of the war, and no one has yet removed those mines.

That’s why there is all this talk of the “northern route” transiting Iran’s territorial waters, and the “southern route” that uses Oman’s.

The historic passageway through the Strait transits through international waters. But Iran closed that passageway at the onset of the conflict, an act of war in violation of the UN Law of the Sea Treaty that should have triggered unanimous international action, spearheaded by the UN Security Council.

If it weren’t for the support that Russia and China have been providing Iran, the United States could have gone to the United Nations and invoked Chapter VII of the UN charter that authorizes member nations to use “all necessary measures” — including military action — to restore international peace and security, just as we did twice in wars against Saddam Hussein.

We actually tried that in May, with the predictable result that both the Chinese and the Russians threatened to veto any resolution against Iran.

Since then, both the Brits and the French have said they would join an international mine-sweeping force, and then promptly backed out when it became obvious that mines were not only still present in the Strait but that the IRGC was going to attack any ships trying to remove them.

So much for the international “order.” And so much for our allies.

That leaves President Trump with the course he has followed in recent weeks: apply just enough force to keep the IRGC on its heels, while not triggering a massive spike in oil prices or spooking international markets.

He has succeeded on all three counts, extremely significant accomplishments.

But the United States cannot just “walk away and go home” if our diplomacy fails, as Vice-president JD Vance suggested recently in his very unfortunate three-hour appearance on the Joe Rogan show.

There is that pesky second demand that Iran give up its nuclear ambitions. On Wednesday, reports from Israel resurfaced an earlier claim by the current IRGC Chief, Ahmad Vahidi, while he was Interior Minister, that Iran would continue to develop nuclear weapons as long as the United States and Israel possessed them. “If they disarm, we will disarm,” he reportedly said.

There has been some parsing of that quote in recent days. One Iranian commentator claimed that the correct quote was this: “As long as the United States and Israel possess nuclear weapons, activities related to national security will not cease.”

Sorry, but in IRGC-speak, that means exactly the same thing.

In the end, whether Vahidi made those public comments or not makes little difference. There is no other explanation for the massive expenditures on uranium enrichment, buried nuclear sites, the Iranian regime’s absolute refusal to discuss its nuclear programs or the recent revelations about Mount Kalang (aka “Pickaxe Mountain”).

The Iranian regime is developing nuclear weapons and thank God they don’t yet have them or they would have already used them on Israel or on us, either in direct attacks or in EMP mode to destroy our electric power grid and send us back to the 1880s, when the United States could support a population of between 80 to 90 million.

This is a regime that has already acted out its intentions to wipe Israel off the map, and has shown its willingness to destroy the entire civilian infrastructure of its Persian Gulf neighbors, including their destination plants.

If anyone has any doubts as to why President Trump is fighting this war, just think of what the IRGC would do if it actually had operational nuclear warheads.

The Awakening of Persia: Why Iran Stands Alone Against Islam

Enough is enough. Iran’s soul is not defined by Islam. Its spirit cannot be caged by  a barbarian ideology imposed upon the civilisation of Iran. For generations, this cult has fractured the nation, dimmed its brilliance, and chained its people to shadows. Islam has brought only division, oppression, and shadows — never peace.

Telling Iranians to celebrate Islam is like asking someone to cherish the very weapon that scarred them, simply because they later polished it.

Iran is not the land of clerics and fanaticism. It is the land of Zarathustra, the legacy of Cyrus the Great — a civilization built on dignity, wisdom, and leadership long before desert chaos swept in from Arabia. It’s time to reclaim that greatness.

The day will come when Western nations look toward Iran — the nation that broke free from Islam’s grip. Doubt it now, but history will prove it. I’ve tried to awaken America for decades, but America resists salvation. Welcome back to Persia.

While the streets of major European capitals and American cities echo with endless apologies, accommodations, and systemic catering to Islamic orthodoxy, a profound, historic rebellion is quietly brewing in the heart of the Middle East. Western governments, blinded by institutional guilt, cultural relativism, and political correctness, bend over backward to appease an ideology that fundamentally opposes Western liberal values. Leaders in London, Paris, Berlin, and Washington fall over themselves to fund, protect, and normalize religious dogmatism, believing they are championing diversity. In reality, they are importing and nurturing the very intolerant systems that their own Enlightenment fought centuries to escape.

Every major Western nation bows to the altar of political sensitivity, too paralyzed by fear of backlash to address the authoritarian core of Islamic governance. They tolerate the intolerable, normalize the regressive, and silence domestic critics under the guise of progressivism.

Yet, across the globe, one nation-and one nation alone-stands as the living, breathing antidote to this global capitulation. That nation is Iran.

To understand modern Iran, one must look past the turbulent veneer of the 1979 Islamic Revolution and the iron-fisted tyranny of the mullahs. The current regime does not represent the soul of the Iranian people; it is an occupying ideological force holding an ancient culture hostage.

For over fourteen centuries, Iranians have endured an identity crisis born from conquest. The Arab invasion dismantled the mighty Sasanian Empire, replacing a civilization of philosophy, science, art, and light with a system of absolute religious submission. Zoroastrianism-the ancient Iranian faith centered on Good Thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deeds-was systematically suppressed, replaced by a theology that many contemporary Iranians view as fundamentally foreign to their national ethos.

Today, the citizens of Iran are waging a silent, daily war against their oppressors. From underground Christian conversions and secular defiance to massive nationwide protests led by brave women burning mandatory headscarves, the Iranian populace is rejecting the Islamic Republic from the ground up. They are proving, with every act of resistance, that Islam is a garment forced upon them at sword-point, not a heritage chosen by their hearts.

When we strip away the dark theology imposed upon the nation, what remains is the immortal spirit of Persia. This is the land that gave the world the Cyrus Cylinder-widely celebrated as the world’s first declaration of human rights. It is the birthplace of astronomical innovation, breathtaking architecture, poetry that speaks of universal human love, and an administrative genius that united millions under a banner of cultural and religious tolerance.

To ask an Iranian to tie their national identity to the clerics ruling Tehran is a profound historical insult. It is asking a proud lion to celebrate the cage it was born in. The current regime relies on terror, censorship, and ideological indoctrination precisely because it knows that the moment freedom returns, the entire Islamic superstructure will collapse like a house of cards.

Look at the West today. Decades of institutional surrender have left American and European societies fractured, defensive, and culturally confused. Leaders preach tolerance while eroding the foundational pillars of free speech and individual liberty. Having spent four decades watching the systematic degradation of Western political courage, it becomes painfully clear: America does not want to be saved. It is sleepwalking into its own cultural dissolution, trading its heritage for the hollow applause of globalist appeasers.

Meanwhile, Iranians are paying in blood to undo the damage of religious totalitarianism. They are the only people on earth who have lived under a pure, unadulterated Islamic theocracy for decades-and because of that, they are the only people who truly see it for what it is. They have lived through the nightmare, tasted the poison, and rejected the cureless disease.

History moves in cycles. Empires rise, fall, and occasionally rise again from the ashes of their own destruction. The day is coming when the dark cloud hanging over Tehran will lift, swept away by an unstoppable wave of secular nationalism, cultural renaissance, and historical reclamation.

When that day arrives, the dynamic will flip entirely. A free, secularized Persia-liberated from the shackles of religious fanaticism-will emerge as the most advanced, enlightened, and culturally vibrant nation in the region. Disillusioned citizens from the West, fleeing societies crushed by their own moral cowardice and cultural surrender, will look eastward.

They will look to the land that dared to stare down theocratic tyranny and win. Welcome to Persia.

VIDEO: Extortion 17 — 15th Year Anniversary. Never Forget Our ‘Fallen Angels’!

The attack killed the Air National Guard crew, seven unidentified members of the Afghan military, and 17 members of Navy SEAL Team Six – warrior brothers from the same team that had killed Osama Bin Laden just 90 days prior. Were the seven Afghan soldiers aboard that helicopter really undercover Taliban who either maneuvered the chopper within easy range of being shot down or sabotaged it from within?

Were the SEALs sacrificed on the altar of political correctness and deliberately flown into a known Taliban hot zone?

Signing Your Own Death Warrant?

Put yourself in the buckled shoes of the founding fathers centuries ago, picking up a quill pen, and then signing your name on a document, the Declaration of Independence. This could have been signing your own death warrant.

Last month we celebrated the 250th anniversary of the acceptance of the Declaration (by voice vote) on July 4, 1776. This month, we celebrate the signing of same by the delegates who were able to return to Philadelphia in early August 1776.

Only two names were attached to the July 4, 1776-first copy of the document—that of John Hancock, the president of the Second Continental Congress, which produced and approved the Declaration. Also named was Charles Thomson, the Secretary for the Congress. (He later went on to become a distinguished Bible scholar.)

The whole proceeding was very dangerous. It would make them special targets of the British. Nonetheless, the founding fathers were determined to complete the task by affixing their names to the Declaration.

On August 1, the day before the signing, Samuel Adams of Massachusetts, gave a speech. Adams was a prime mover in the whole process. Thomas Jefferson called him “the patriarch of liberty.” Adams biographer Benjamin H. Irvin points out that the Declaration of Independence was essentially the culmination of Samuel Adams’ life work. Adams had recruited many to the patriot cause, including John Hancock and John Adams, a second cousin of Samuel.

I have written before about Samuel Adams, the largely forgotten founding father, whom biographer Stacy Schiff calls, “the most essential founding father.” Samuel Adams was the lightning rod of the American Revolution.

In his speech the day before the courageous signing of the document, Samuel Adams declared, “We have this day restored the Sovereign, to whom alone men ought to be obedient. He reigns in heaven…and from the rising to the setting sun, may His Kingdom come.”

Samuel Adams was known as “the last of the Puritans,” and I think we can add that he was “the first of the founding fathers.” Like so many Americans at the time, he was very concerned that all the sacrifices of his Puritan (and Pilgrim) forebears would all be wasted if England were to completely take over America and force the Church of England on the colonies. Thus, the right of conscience was at stake.

To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Dr. Paul Jehle, President of the Plymouth Rock Foundation, and Dr. Mark Beliles, co-founder of Providence Foundation (Charlottesville, VA), organized a special webcast to highlight the Declaration and the signing. (Beliles and I have written a new book on Jefferson and how God is the source of our rights.)

As executive director of Providence Forum (of Coral Ridge Ministries), I was privileged to be a part of this event, even speaking briefly. I sat next to Jehle in his church at Plymouth, along with the sheriff of “America’s Home Town” (which Plymouth is known as).

The website for the event, 250declaration.com, states: “Special online Event, Nationwide…On August 2nd two hundred and fifty years ago, America’s Founders signed the famous Declaration of Independence.”

250declaration adds: “Today America needs a new commitment from its citizens and those from other nations who desire the same quality of liberty. Affirm our Nation’s Birth Certificate. Some of America’s top Christian historians and speakers will participate from various locations to give remarks and lead people to digitally ‘sign’ the document. Just as the original Declaration ended with a pledge, we ask you to consider affixing your name and the region from where you live online…You would be affirming the Declaration’s core ideas of God-given rights, the rule of law, consent of the governed, equality, the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, as well as the right to lawfully resist tyranny.”

And so in Paul Jehle’s New Testament Church in Plymouth, Massachusetts, visitors were encouraged to sign copies of the Declaration of Independence in order to reaffirm our commitment to the founding principles contained therein. Plus, people in other locations, including online, were also signing copies.

What gave those founding fathers 250 years ago the courage to take such a bold act, as potentially signing their own death warrants?

The last sentence of the Declaration gives us the answer, “And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.”

We have been given a great gift of liberty in this nation. Only through faith in the God of our fathers can it be maintained. As Thomas Jefferson, chief author of the Declaration, once asseverated, “God who gave us life gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God?”

Black people have ninety-nine problems, but Donald Trump ain’t one

ThyBlackMan.com — The sky is blue, God is real, Trump is president, the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, Kamala was a disaster, Obama was horrible for Blacks, radical Black liberals are obsessed with race, and radical Black liberals will congregate in Martha’s Vineyard to complain about white folks in August, etc., etc., etc.

This annual pilgrimage to Martha’s Vineyard and more specifically, The Inkwell is as predictable as Democrats ignoring the Black vote.

Martha’s Vineyard is a 112 square mile island in Massachusetts, known for its mix of coastal beauty, historic towns, and cultural heritage. The Inkwell (officially Town Beach) is a specific, historically significant beach in Oak Bluffs, MA, on the island, celebrated for its role in Black history.

Martha’s Vineyard is a summer resort destination with a rich history dating back to the 18th century when Methodist and Baptist revivals drew visitors. It has evolved from whaling, brickmaking, and farming into a scenic, cultural hub with towns like Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, and Falmouth. The island offers beaches, historic sites, art galleries, and seasonal events, and it has a diverse cultural fabric.

The Inkwell is a small, sandy stretch of beach in Oak Bluffs, MA near the ferry terminal, popular for its gentle waves and central location. Its name comes from a derogatory nickname used in the late 1800s for the Black community that frequented it.

Blacks began visiting the Inkwell during the Great Migration, attracted by Oak Bluffs’ openness during this time of segregation.

The Great Migration, sometimes known as the Great Northward Migration or the Black Migration, was the movement of six million Black Americans out of the rural Southern United States to the urban Northeast, Midwest, and West between 1910 and 1970.

In 1912, Charles and Henrietta Shearer opened the first Black owned inn on the island, catering to Black vacationers.

And the rest, as they say, is history.

I had the fortune of knowing many of the legendary families who were foundational to the Inkwell.  The ones I knew are all dead, but sitting at their feet and learning history from their lived experiences was phenomenal.

When these very wealthy, successful, influential Blacks made their annual August trek to the Inkwell it was not only for vacation, but also to discuss solutions to what ailed the Black community.  Let me reiterate—SOLUTIONS, not complaints about white folks.

They did not spend their precious time talking about how racist presidents like Roosevelt, Truman Eisenhower, Nixon, Kennedy, or LBJ were.  They believed in the Colin Powell doctrine of “constructive engagement.”

These Oldtimers from the Inkwell believed in talking through their disagreements with people in power, both Democrats and Republicans.

They were focused on solutions that would make life better for the whole of the Black community; not simply flexing and self-congratulating each other about their latest material purchases—their new vacation home, their new Rolls Royce, or their latest million-dollar contribution to the boule!!!

I have had many opportunities to go to the Vineyard, but up now have refused all offers because I have to be in a certain mental frame of mind to be around these types of arrogant, uppity Black folks.

I am not there yet.

I know many who are about to make this annual pilgrimage.

These are the who’s who of corporate, political, and Black high society in America.  These are some of the highest-level executives in Fortune 500 companies.  These are some of the most successful entrepreneurs in America.

They are the talented tenth, the bourgeoisie, and the boule.

The talented tenth was made famous by W.E.B. Du Bois, a prominent Black historian and civil rights legend from the early nineteen hundreds.

In his 1903 essay The Talented Tenth, Du Bois argued,  “That for the Black community to rise from the vestiges of slavery and systemic oppression, a small group of the most talented and educated individuals must be trained as leaders, intellectuals, and professionals…They are supposed to serve as role models, uplift the masses and advocate for civil rights, education and political participation.”

Du Bois would be very disappointed that the opposite is occurring today.

The bourgeoisie and the boule will use the occasion of this annual tradition to pair off their young adult children with what they deem to be suitable potential spouses for marriage.  They want to keep their bloodlines pure, socially, financially, and politically.

There will be multiple millions of dollars spent during the month of August on hotels, housing, and exotic catered parties to talk about how bad America is!

There will be no mention of the steady Black on Black killings in Chicago, Baltimore, New York City, or St. Louis; there will be no mention of the out of control out of wedlock birthrates in our community. Despite their protestations to the contrary, these pathologies have nothing to do with Donald Trump, racism or poverty.

It has everything to do with the destruction of the Black family and more specifically the Black male.  The supposed talented tenth do not want to have the discussion about how these radical liberal Democrat policies have and are continuing to destroy the very group they claim to speak for and represent.

There will be no mention of how illegal immigrants are devastating the Black community with murder, increased housing cost, and rising unemployment.

But there will be sunup to sundown conversation about how racist Donald Trump is; how America is racist towards Blacks, and how the legacy of slavery is at the root of all that ails the Black community.

The founders of the Inkwell would be totally ashamed of the state of the Black community today.  They had less opportunity in their time but lived a better quality of life than we are living today.

Make it make sense!!!

Today’s Blacks are doing very well financially, but I would argue that we have a lower quality of life than our forefathers.

We have more material possessions, but our families are in an alarming state of dysfunctionality.

Establishing The President’s Military Spouse Commission

Executive Order 14415

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered:

Section 1.  Purpose and Policy.  Military spouses are intrinsically linked to the good order, readiness, and retention of our military.  Their support and contributions to our Armed Forces are crucial to mission success.  Yet the spouses of our Nation’s service members face significant challenges due to the nature of military service.  Frequent relocations and the long absences of service members — especially when deployed to combat zones — can negatively impact military spouses’ quality of life and, in turn, that of their family.  The repeated relocations and other aspects of military life may limit quality housing options, employment opportunities, and other resources available to families that are not obligated to move every 2 to 3 years, as military families do in service to our Nation.  Prolonged service member absences also place enormous burdens on military spouses running households alone.

During my first term, we made significant strides to improve employment policies for military spouses.  I took action to enhance job opportunities within the Federal Government for military spouses, expand occupational licensure portability so military spouses have more opportunities to work in different States, and increase remote and flexible job options that provide continuity and financial stability for military families.  Now is the time to build on these successes.

Thriving military families mean a more resilient fighting force and thus a stronger and more secure America.  It is the policy of the Federal Government to prioritize the quality of life of our military spouses and families while maintaining the highest standards of military readiness.

Sec. 2.  Establishment and Composition of the President’s Military Spouse Commission.  (a)  There is hereby established the President’s Military Spouse Commission (Commission).

(b)  The spouse of the Secretary of War shall serve as Chair.  The Executive Director of the Commission shall be designated by the President.  If the spouse of the Secretary of War is unable to serve as Chair for any reason, the Executive Director shall perform the duties of the Chair until the President designates a new Chair.

(c)  In addition to the Chair, the Commission membership shall include the spouses of the following senior military leaders, if applicable:

(i)      the Secretary of the Army;

(ii)     the Secretary of the Navy;

(iii)    the Secretary of the Air Force;

(iv)     the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff;

(v)      the Chief of Staff of the Army;

(vi)     the Commandant of the Marine Corps;

(vii)    the Chief of Naval Operations;

(viii)   the Chief of Staff of the Air Force;

(ix)     the Chief of Space Operations;

(x)      the Chief of the National Guard Bureau;

(xi)     the Commandant of the Coast Guard;

(xii)    the Sergeant Major of the Army;

(xiii)   the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps;

(xiv)    the Chief Master Sergeant of the Space Force;

(xv)     the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chief of the National Guard Bureau;

(xvi)    the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff;

(xvii)   the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard;

(xviii)  the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy;

(xix)    the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force;

(xx)     the Secretary of Homeland Security; and

(xxi)    other individuals that the Chair or Executive Director may, from time to time, invite to participate.

(d)  Members of the Commission shall serve contingent on the duration of their spouse serving in or performing the duties of the role described in subsections (b) and (c) of this section.

Sec. 3.  Duties of the Commission.  The Commission shall advise and assist the President on policies that affect military spouses and families, including by:

(a)  monitoring the implementation of this order;

(b)  liaising with military spouses to determine common areas of concern;

(c)  developing policies that address challenges faced by military spouses in key areas such as housing, employment, healthcare, education, and deployment-related support;

(d)  recommending to the President practicable actions to help ensure the overall well-being of military spouses and to improve the quality of life of military spouses; and

(e)  providing the President with a report on the matters described in this section at the end of each fiscal year for so long as the Commission exists, and submitting a final report to the President prior to the termination of the Commission.

Sec. 4.  Administration.  (a)  Each executive department and agency shall, to the extent permitted by law and subject to the availability of funds, furnish such information and assistance to the Commission as it may request.

(b)  Members of the Commission shall serve without compensation but may receive travel reimbursement, including per diem in lieu of subsistence, as allowed under applicable law (5 U.S.C. 5701–5707), consistent with the availability of funds.

(c)  The Department of War shall provide such funding and administrative and technical support as the Commission may require, to the extent permitted by law and as authorized by existing appropriations.

(d)  The Commission may establish subcommittees as appropriate to aid in its work.

(e)  Insofar as the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as amended (5 U.S.C. 1001 et seq.) (the “Act”), may apply to the administration of any portion of this order, any functions of the President under the Act, except that of reporting to the Congress, shall be performed by the Secretary of War in accordance with the guidelines and procedures issued by the Administrator of General Services.

(f)  In accordance with the Act, the Commission shall terminate 2 years from the date of this order, unless extended by the President.

Sec. 5.  General Provisions.  (a)  Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:

(i)   the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof; or

(ii)  the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals.

(b)  This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.

(c)  This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

(d)  The costs for publication of this order shall be borne by the Department of War.

Why Do Muslims Pray On Public Roads?

The tarmac belongs to the state, yet the Islamic cult claims the asphalt for themselves every single Friday. Traffic halts, commerce bleeds, and emergency vehicles stall while hundreds bow in unison across active lanes of traffic. This public blockade is an act of war against civil order, a calculated display of territorial dominance disguised as religious devotion. Across major metropolitan corridors worldwide, the Muslim machine has seized the infrastructure, and municipal leadership have surrendered without firing a shot.

Governments draft traffic laws to protect citizens, maintain supply chains, and guarantee emergency transit. Muslim terrorists treat these laws as mere toothless suggestions, transforming high-speed arteries into outdoor sanctuaries through brute force and numerical intimidation. This phenomenon represents a deliberate geopolitical strategy to test state resolve, force legal concessions, and assert supremacy over secular public space.

The strategy follows a precise, military blueprint: the ingress begins with a disciplined swarm into active intersections during peak commute hours, escalates into a full siege as zealots deploy prayer mats directly across multi-lane highways, and culminates in absolute domain through the complete paralysis of the surrounding urban grid — effectively terminating emergency transit, igniting city-wide vehicle gridlock, and triggering the total collapse of state authority within minutes.

This sequence unfolds simultaneously in London, Paris, New York, and Berlin. The uniformity proves coordination. Local police forces stand down, instructed by cowed mayors to prioritize appease-at-all-costs over public safety. Ambulances trap patients in traffic jams while paramedics watch the clock tick toward death. Fire engines burn fuel, immobilized behind human barricades, while buildings consume themselves in flame three blocks away. The law exists on paper; on the street, the Muslim decree overrides the constitution.

France provided a blueprint for resistance in 2011. The state invoked the iron doctrine of laïcité to outlaw the Paris street blockades outright, establishing a municipal ban to shatter the northern Paris occupation. Yet, the Ministry of Interior immediately surrendered the ideological high ground. Bureaucrats handed the cartel a former military barracks to appease the mob, trading absolute public order for temporary quiet. This concession proves that even a secular fortress collapses when it compromises with extortionists.

Citizens pay extortionate property taxes for the right to navigate their cities safely. The state breaks this social contract the moment it permits a religious group to expropriate critical transportation infrastructure. This illegal seizure drains millions from municipal economies every hour the road remains blocked. Deliveries fail, workers lose wages, and logistics networks fracture under the strain of artificial chokepoints.

The brutal reality: A nation that surrenders its roadways surrenders its sovereignty. The Asphalt Cartel relies on the cowardice of secular bureaucrats who mistake weakness for tolerance.

Political leaders claim these blockades represent harmless spiritual expression. This claim is a lie. True faith respects the safety of the community; territorial zealotry demands the subjugation of the populace. By forcing thousands of drivers to watch the spectacle from idling vehicles, the Muslim leadership broadcasts a clear message to the host nation: We control your movement. We control your streets. We dictate the terms of your daily existence.

The state holds a monopoly on legitimate physical force, yet it acts like a castrated beast when faced with Muslim aggression. Police officers, armed with water cannons and riot gear, serve as passive traffic wardens for the illegal assembly rather than enforcing the penal code.

Across North America, municipal codes demand strict permits, police details, and safety plans for any public street closure. Yet, mayors discard these laws the moment the Muslim machine mobilizes. Bureaucrats rebrand illegal, unscheduled gridlock as an exercise of free assembly. They instruct police to stand down under the cowardice of administrative discretion. Local authorities enforce noise ordinances and transit laws against taxpaying citizens, but they grant total immunity to the unpermitted syndicate that occupies the asphalt.

They arrest sole commuters who voice rage at the blockade, while protecting the lawbreakers who cause the standstill.

This inverted justice system accelerates national decay. When a government punishes the victim and rewards the aggressor, law-abiding taxpayers abandon their allegiance to the state. The legal apparatus turns its weapons inward, enforcing compliance on the productive majority while granting immunity to the disruptive enclave.

Civilization collapses when the mob dictates the utility of the road. Tolerance of street blockades breeds total lawlessness across every sector of public life. The solution requires immediate, uncompromising state violence to restore the rule of law.

  • Deploy Tactical Units: Clear all blocked thoroughfares instantly using maximum legal force, armored vehicles, and chemical dispersants.
  • Seize Personal Assets: Impound every vehicle, phone, and asset used to organize or execute unauthorized street blockades.
  • Enforce Permanent Exclusion: Incarcerate key organizers under anti-terrorism laws for sabotage of critical national infrastructure.

Cities must choose between civilization and chaos. The Muslim Road blockades present an existential challenge to the authority of the modern republic. Every delayed response, every nervous retreat by law enforcement, invites deeper incursions into public life. The time for diplomatic debate expired long ago. The state must crush the Asphalt Cartel immediately, clear the roads with iron resolve, and reclaim the public square before the infrastructure of the free world shatters completely.

Trump Is Right to Crush the ICC: Foreign Judges Have No Business Ruling Over Americans

Most Americans, I dare say, have never heard of the International Criminal Court (ICC). It’s not exactly dinner-table conversation. But that hasn’t stopped this rogue international body from claiming the power to investigate, indict, and potentially imprison American citizens—and it certainly isn’t slowing the Trump Administration from putting the ICC on the chopping block.

The ICC was established under the Rome Statute, and it’s tied to the United Nations system. What many fellow Americans don’t know is the ICC asserts jurisdiction even over countries that never agreed to its authority. The United States has never ratified the Rome Statute and rejects any claim that foreign judges in The Hague can sit in judgment of American citizens or personnel.

Yet that has not stopped the court from going after our closest allies.

In November 2024, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant over the war in Gaza. Israel, like the United States, is not a party to the Rome Statute and refuses to recognize the court’s jurisdiction.

In New York, Mayor Zohran Mamdani went further.

He publicly branded Netanyahu a “war criminal,” declared him unwelcome in America’s largest city, and called on the federal government to arrest him and hand him over to The Hague. Mamdani admitted New York City has no legal power to enforce the warrant—but still urged Washington to do the ICC’s dirty work.

That’s not solidarity with justice. That’s an American elected official treating the ICC’s political lawfare as legitimate and inviting foreign jurisdiction onto U.S. soil.

And Americans are next.

The ICC previously opened investigations into U.S. servicemen and intelligence personnel over Afghanistan, declaring that our own military justice system wasn’t good enough for them. In other words, these foreign judges decided they—not the American people or our elected government—should have the final say over how the United States defends itself.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio put it plainly: No globalist judge has any authority over Americans. Full stop.

A Court So Corrupt It Fired Its Own Prosecutor

This is the same institution that just removed its own chief prosecutor, Karim Khan, after findings of serious sexual misconduct involving a junior staff member—including non-consensual contact and abuse of power. These are the people who claim the moral authority to sit in judgment of American heroes who risk their lives in uniform?

The ICC is not a neutral temple of justice.

It is a politicized, unaccountable body that selectively targets U.S. allies while ignoring far worse actors. For instance, the court issued active arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Yet, the only warrant it ever issued against a Hamas commander—Mohammed Deif—was canceled after his death, leaving no ongoing cases against any living Hamas leaders responsible for the October 7 slaughter.

Democrats Are Enabling the Threat

While the Trump administration works to dismantle this threat, some Democrats are actively trying to legitimize it.

Rep. Ilhan Omar introduced H.Res. 1435 calling for the United States to join the ICC and lift the sanctions and visa bans that protect American sovereignty. Rep. Jim McGovern has long praised the court as a necessary check when countries “can’t or won’t” act—language that implies America itself is deficient and needs foreign supervision. Other voices on the left have floated the idea that Trump administration officials should fear ICC scrutiny.

This is not principled human rights advocacy. It is a willingness to subordinate the United States to an international body that has never been accountable to the American people.

President Trump Is Fighting Back—Hard

Unlike previous administrations that treated the ICC with kid gloves, President Trump has launched a whole-of-government campaign to remove its ability to threaten Americans systematically. Executive Order 14203 imposed sanctions. Judges and prosecutors involved in targeting the U.S. or Israel have faced asset freezes, travel bans, and visa restrictions. Diplomatic pressure is being applied to urge other nations to withdraw.

The message is clear: cooperate with the ICC’s lawfare against Americans or our allies, and there will be consequences.

Legislation such as S. 3273 and H.R. 5411 would further protect sovereignty by restricting federal grants and barring state and local cooperation with ICC warrants against certain foreign officials. These are practical tools to ensure that no American jurisdiction becomes an extension of The Hague’s reach.

What’s Really at Stake

This fight is broader than one court. It is about whether the United States remains a sovereign nation under its own Constitution or becomes subject to an international bureaucracy known for shifting winds. American self-rule, our laws, our military, and our freedoms cannot be outsourced to foreign judges who answer to no American voter.

President Trump understands the danger.

The administration is treating the ICC for what it is: an illegitimate threat that must be confronted and constrained. Patriots should recognize the same reality. The power of combined American resolve can push back against this overreach the same way it has pushed back against other globalist pretensions.

The choice is straightforward.

Either we defend the principle that Americans decide American justice, or we accept that unelected outsiders in Europe get a veto over our sovereignty. The Trump administration has chosen the former. The rest of us should stand with that choice—clearly, unapologetically, and without illusion about what the ICC represents.

Inside Trump’s Nationwide Tour to Help Vulnerable Republicans in Midterms

President Donald Trump has held campaign-style events in 17 states, most of them key swing states, in preparation for the 2026 midterm elections.

While most presidents have a minimal presence in midterm elections, chief of staff Susie Wiles said in December that Trump would keep a presidential-style campaign schedule for 2026.

“Typically in the midterms, it’s not about who’s sitting at the White House. You localize the election and you keep the federal officials out of it,” Wiles said. “We’re actually going to turn that on its head and put him on the ballot, because so many of those low-propensity voters are Trump voters.”

As a result, Trump has made multiple visits per month to key states where he has touted economic wins, such as investments in domestic manufacturing, baby bonus accounts, and tax cuts from the “One Big, Beautiful Bill.” Many of the states are home to toss-up congressional races critical to maintaining the already slim Republican House majority.

“President Trump is hitting the road with unmatched energy to build enthusiasm because he understands what’s at stake this November,” Republican National Committee Chair Joe Gruters told the Daily Signal. “President Trump is taking charge and delivering the America First message directly to voters, and when they are presented with the facts, voters will reject the Socialists’ radical agenda and elect Republicans up and down the ballot.”

Trump addressed three events in Florida this year, where Republicans have the chance to flip several blue seats after the Legislature successfully redrew the state’s congressional maps. The seats include the 9th District; the 22nd District, as Democrat Lois Frankel decided to run in the 23rd District; and the 14th District, currently represented by Democrat Kathy Castor.

Trump has also visited twice each of the swing states Georgia, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Georgia is home to a key Senate race, where Republican Rep. Mike Collins is taking on Democrat incumbent Sen. Jon Ossoff, viewed as one of the most vulnerable Democrat Senate incumbents.

Michigan features three key House races and one Senate race, where Bernie Sanders-backed candidate Abdul El-Sayed is expected to win the Democratic nomination next Tuesday.

The House races in Michigan could determine which party will control the House, Mitchell said.

“You’ve got the seventh district with Tom Barrett in the Lansing area,” he said. “That’s a very very close seat, one of the closest in the nation. Then you’ve got John James, who’s running for governor, who represents the 10th district, which is Macomb County primarily, and a little bit of Oakland County in the Detroit suburban area.”

“On the west side of the state, there’s Bill Huizinga, who’s in the 4th congressional district, and he could get into trouble if this becomes a sort of wave election,” Mitchell continued.

Pennsylvania has four tossup districts currently represented by Republicans: the 1st Congressional District represented by Brian Fitzpatrick; the 7th district represented by Ryan Mackenzie; the 8th district represented by Rob Bresnahan, and the 10th represented by Scott Perry.

Trump visited Pennsylvania to energize his base, said Jim Lee, president of Susquehanna Polling, which is based in Pennsylvania.

“Trump’s visits to Pennsylvania are a way to try to fire up the base to get the GOP electorate tuned in to the election because it’s only a short three months away, to make sure they’re galvanized and ready to turn out,” he told the Daily Signal.

Lee said polls have found an excitement gap between Democrat and Republican voters. Even though economic data suggests the country is on strong footing, people are still feeling the pain of inflation, Lee said.

“They’re not saving as much money as they had been in the past,” he said, “so there’s a lot of apathy, particularly among former Trump supporters, and we’re seeing that because in our polling, Republicans don’t seem to be as committed to vote for Republican candidates, whether it’s for a governor, for a U.S. Senate race, or for congressional races.”

Trump has made one trip each to Kentucky; Ohio; Texas; North Carolina; Iowa; Tennessee; Nevada; Arizona; New York; Wisconsin; Connecticut; North Dakota; and South Dakota.
