West Virginia: 28 Overdoses in 4 Hours Due Partly to MD Rx’s for Pain

I worked at a pain clinic in Appalachia mentioned in the AP article, 4 Hours in Huntington: How the Heroin Epidemic Choked a City. As an MD seeking retirement, I covered another doctor when he was gone for a week and was shocked to discover that everyone who came was needing an Rx for hydrocodone or xanax-type meds or they would suffer severe withdrawal symptoms.

Like the woman in the article who was given a prescription for an ankle injury, thousands every day are being given a free ticket to drug abuse and addiction when there should be NO need for such addictive medication. Ruhling says he practiced 40 years without Rx’ing hydrocodone for someone who had never taken it. Tylenol with codeine or Darvon were the strongest meds he prescribed or used personally after broken bones in a car accident. He offers the following info.

In those situations. People should be told to expect some pain, use an ice bag to reduce swelling and pain, and let pain be their guide of what they can or can’t do. Patience and use of crutches or a cast or sling will enable most people to live well in spite of injury until it heals. Impatience and use of Rx’s is a ticket to drug abuse and addiction.

Much drug abuse would never exist if alcohol had never be used. It is a gateway to trouble for millions who should turn the TV off when they see the damn beer ads that depict a false happiness associated with drinking. He relates the example of a 37-year old man—

Since 2013 I’ve been fighting for my life on a daily basis, every single second was a living hell. Every week required multiple hospitalizations and I mostly lived on IV’s and meds. Basically my stomach was dead, my internal nerves were permanently damaged, blind from both eyes, no ability to remember things or perform basic functions, uncontrollable defecating on myself, always covered in vomit.  So much pain.

At the end of February I was on 17 prescriptions and every single doctor and specialist completely gave up on me. The state and my family still believe that hospice or state care is my only option.

At the end of February I gave up on all of them too! I stopped all meds. I stopped all doctors. I stopped all attempts to ease the pain. I then endured the worst 3 months imaginable. On May 25th, 2016 this physical body of mine died.

Miracles have since started and have not stopped. So many that I can’t keep track. I am in the best condition of my life and am fully healed. [He credited God as the source of healing.]

There are worse things than living in pain and the body learns to adapt and healing can occur with we give the body time to mend without rushing back to full activity while taking pain pills.

Vast water resources are illegally diverted to feed ever-thirsty marijuana plants, each of which consumes five gallons of water per day, and beautiful ranches are being turned into hundreds of acres of marijuana grow sites, which emit an unmistakable putrid smell all day and all night.

Once marijuana is legalized by constitutional amendment, as being sought in the State of Florida, your neighborhood, no matter where it is, can become a marijuana grow site without local control, and the putrid pervasive smell of marijuana will inescapably fill the air 24 hours per day. With constitutional legalization, traffic accidents increase, public health decreases, workplace productivity declines, and the billionaires stand to greatly profiteer on the backs of the hard-working public. In fact, the marijuana cash crop industry will exceed in human misery the cotton cash crop industry and is currently being promoted as a massive money flow for corporate investors.

Women involved in the highly-profitable marijuana cash-crop industry are paid extra to harvest cannabis topless and frequently suffer sexual abuse. Ads for women workers describe them as sex objects: “looking for new help, topless extra” or “Need a good looking trimmer that is … open minded [for sex acts].”

When California legalized medical marijuana, the public had no idea that the State’s rivers would be dried up due to each marijuana plant consuming five gallons of water per day, multiplied by 50,000 marijuana farms just in California and millions of thirsty plants, according to Scientific American. In fact, water consumption by every marijuana plant exceeds water consumption of the migrant workers, including children, who prepare marijuana for market.

Marijuana is a profit-driven cash crop, as was cotton, grown outdoors on plantations, often owned by interstate corporations, and in windowless, isolated factories, where migrants can labor under slave-like conditions. In California’s medical marijuana industry, migrants have been shot and murdered, execution-style, by the plantation owner on a rural 800-acre farm.

Throughout the world, in the UK and elsewhere, many thousands of impoverished children have been found imprisoned as slaves in marijuana factories. In Florida, the first marijuana factory is hidden from public view in a rural area, surrounded by barbed wire, protected by armed guards, and secured by numerous checkpoints where cell phones are confiscated.

The decision to expand marijuana in Florida has limitless ramifications for expanded profiteering with inestimable social costs, heightened human trafficking, escalating crimes against women and children, enormous environmental damage through drought created by millions of ever-thirsty marijuana plants and gigantic electric consumption in marijuana factories, and deteriorating health conditions of migrant worker families and marijuana consumers exposed to high levels of toxic pesticides used on the plants and effectively unregulated by under-staffed agencies.

Weiner’s Compulsive Sexting a ‘Teachable Moment’ for Parents and their Children

A report from the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy found that:

  • Although most teens who send sexually suggestive content are sending it to boyfriends and girlfriends, others say they are sending such material to those they want to hook up with or even to someone they only know online.
  • Teens are conflicted about sending/posting sexually suggestive content–they know it’s potentially dangerous, yet many do it anyway.
  • Teens are sending sexually explicit messages and images, even though they know such content often gets shared with those other than the intended recipient.
  • Young people who receive nude/semi-nude images and sexually suggestive texts and emails are sharing them with other people for whom they were never intended.
  • Teens admit that sending/posting sexually suggestive content has an impact on their behavior.

Other research shows:

  • Peer pressure and popularity are key factors in why teens sext, despite knowing the potential risks.(2)
  • Growing evidence has identified a relationship between viewing pornography and violent or abusive behavior in young men. These findings are from a large survey of 4,564 young people aged 14 to 17 in five European countries which illuminate the relationship between regular viewing of online pornography, sexual coercion and abuse and the sending and receiving of sexual images and messages, known as “sexting.”(3)

  • Regularly talk to your kids about what they are doing online and outline the risks;
  • Teach them to think before they post and that nothing online is truly private;

I had the opportunity to listen Dr. Ron Larson speak about the City of Baltimore, Maryland during his visit to Sarasota, Florida. Dr. Larson said that the average age of a grandmother in Baltimore is 36-years old. He also called Baltimore “sin city.”

Florida Baptists Oppose Amendment to legalize Marijuana

Florida Baptist conventionOn August 26, 2016 the Florida Baptist State Board of Missions voted to continue its stance against the legalization of marijuana and encouraged the pastors of the Florida Baptist Convention to seek various information resources to help educate their churches in the importance of voting No on Amendment 2.

Last time this was on the ballot in 2014, the State Board expressed this opposition in the form of a resolution. Since a resolution was made last time, it was not felt another resolution was needed this time, but simply the statement opposing legalizing marijuana and the encouragement to pastors to educate their people on the importance of defeating this ballot initiative amending the Florida Constitution.

The following is the full text of the resolution passed in 2014:

RESOLUTION TO OPPOSE THE LEGALIZATION OF MEDICAL MARIJUANA

WHEREAS, the November 4, 2014, General Election ballot will contain Amendment 2 – the so-called Florida Right to Medical Marijuana; and

WHEREAS, the ballot initiative seeks to permit persons with nine specific medical conditions to have unlimited access to medical marijuana; and

WHEREAS, the Amendment also provides that medical marijuana can be dispensed without a physician’s prescription for broad but undefined “other conditions” which can include anything from back pain to trouble sleeping; and

WHEREAS, so-called caregivers will be legally permitted to dispense the drug to up to five persons without legal regulation; and a caregiver can be anyone from a felon to a drug dealer; and

WHEREAS, the State Board of Missions has individual and corporate empathy for those Floridians suffering from debilitating diseases, but the Board does not believe legalizing an addictive drug without strong regulatory oversight is an appropriate solution; and

WHEREAS, the effort to legalize marijuana is contrary to the interests of the public health, safety and welfare, and will adversely affect the rights of citizens to live and work in a community where drug abuse is not accepted and citizens are not subjected to the adverse effects of the drug abuse; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED that the State Board of Missions of the Florida Baptist State Convention, go on record to oppose Amendment 2 that will appear on the November 4, 2014, General Election ballot; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board call upon Florida Baptist pastors to diligently encourage their church members to promote and vote to defeat Amendment 2; and

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Board request the Executive Director-Treasurer of the Florida Baptist Convention, to take all reasonable actions to notify and create awareness among Florida Baptists on the importance of voting against Amendment 2.

The Center for Disease Control’s latest report states:

Gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men made up an estimated 2% of the population but 55% of people living with HIV in the United States in 2013. If current diagnosis rates continue, 1 in 6 gay and bisexual men will be diagnosed with HIV in their lifetime, including 1 in 2 black/African-American gay and bisexual men, 1 in 4 Hispanic/Latino gay and bisexual men, and 1 in 11 white gay and bisexual men.

In 2014:

  • Gay and bisexual men accounted for 83% (29,418) of the estimated new HIV diagnoses among all males aged 13 and older and 67% of the total estimated new diagnoses in the United States.
  • Gay and bisexual men aged 13 to 24 accounted for an estimated 92% of new HIV diagnoses among all men in their age group and 27% of new diagnoses among all gay and bisexual men.
  • Gay and bisexual men accounted for an estimated 54% (11,277) of people diagnosed with AIDS. Of those men, 39% were African American, 32% were white, and 24% were Hispanic/Latino.

While the left would blame most of these problems on conservative “homophobia,” the truth is actually quite different. Even as homosexuality becomes an ever more acceptable societal given; the mental and physical consequences of such behavior continue to persist. In fact, the CDC notes that even as the HIV/AIDS infection rates continue to generally drop, over the last ten years they actually rose in the homosexual male community. This has nothing to do with conservative homophobia and everything to do with what we on the right have been warning about for years – the dangerous consequences of negative and immoral behavior.

President Obama and Hillary Clinton have done nothing to stop this pandemic. Instead they have opened women’s bathrooms to gays, transgenders. This put at risk females and young girls.

Homosexuals have been looking for any genetic reason for their behaviors. A person who changes their sex is violating biology, science and genetics. Homosexuality is a choice, one that does not demand special rights, rather homosexuals require treatment for their abnormality.

OneNewsNow reports:

A new study should convince academics and the general public that there is no “homosexual gene.”

Two distinguished scholars at Johns Hopkins University have released a lengthy, three-part report concluding that there’s not sufficient evidence to prove homosexuals and transgenders are born in that condition – in other words, there is no “gay gene.”

“The understanding of sexual orientation as an innate, biologically fixed property of human beings – the idea that people are ‘born that way’ – is not supported by scientific evidence,” states the executive summary.

“The hypothesis that gender identity is an innate, fixed property of human beings that is independent of biological sex – that a person might be ‘a man trapped in a woman’s body’ or ‘a woman trapped in a man’s body’ – is not supported by scientific evidence,” it adds.

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality offers his comments on the report to OneNewsNow.

“Homosexual activists have been desperate to try to say they’re ‘born that way’ because they believe this absolves them of their moral responsibility for their sexual behavior,” he shares. “And they know that if the public believes that people are – quote – ‘born gay,’ then the public is much more accepting of homosexual activism. And that’s exactly what we’ve seen in the culture.”

LaBarbera argues that the culture is getting false information from liberal academics and liberal media that present the “gay gene” theory as truth when study after study confirms there’s no such thing.

LaBarbera, Peter“I think the evidence is becoming so overwhelming that there is no gay gene that even liberal-minded academics are forced to concede this point,” he adds. “The homosexual lobby and a lot of people in it banked on the gay gene theory to win sympathy. It worked … but the evidence continues to mount against that theory.”

The 143-page report recognizes a corollary between same-gender attraction and sexual abuse as a child.

Why Luxury TVs Are Affordable when Health Care Is Not by Richard N. Lorenc

Imagine this. You are feeling under the weather. You pull out your smartphone and click the Rx app. A nurse arrives in 20 minutes at your home. He gives you a blood test and recommends to the doctor that she prescribe a treatment. It is sent to the CVS down the street, which delivers it to your door in 20 minutes. The entire event costs $20.

Sounds nuts? Not so much. Not if health care were a competitive industry. As it is, medical care prices are up 105% in the last 20 years. This contrasts with the television industry, which is selling products that have fallen 96% in the same period.

Take a look at this chart assembled by AEI. It reveals two important points. First, there is no such thing as an aggregate price level, or, rather what we call the price level is a statistical fiction. Second, it shows that competitive industries offer goods and services that are falling in price due to market pressure. In contrast monopolized industries can extract ever higher rents from people based on restriction.

Consider each product or service shown. College is heavily subsidized, regulated, and exclusionary, and the costs are soaring. The textbook industry is hobbled by extreme copyright regulation, and can depend on captive buyers. Childcare is one of the most regulated industries in the country. Not just anyone can enter. Every aspect of childcare provision is controlled by the state.

On the other hand, software, wireless service, toys and and TVs (see: free trade) exist in relatively freer market settings. The price pressure is down.

It’s not that complicated, folks. If you want good services, good products, innovative ideas, and low prices, you need competitive markets. The more you control, the higher the prices and the worse the results.

Marijuana factories will have a tremendous impact on Florida’s environment

Florida’s current low-THC medical marijuana law allows for the establishment of six marijuana cultivation sites that will grow and distribute marijuana to licensed retailers.

Amendment 2 would allow for an unlimited amount of cultivation centers that could be large indoor or outdoor grows.

Energy Consumption: Increasing Florida’s Carbon Footprint: Many commercialized marijuana growers prefer indoor-cultivation because it is easier to control all aspects of the environment and it allows for perpetual harvests. Indoor cultivation uses large amounts of energy from lighting and air conditioning, an amount estimated at 8 times more than a typical commercial building and 4 times more than a hospital per-square foot. In Colorado, Denver’s electricity rate is increasing at a rate of 1.2% per year and 45% of the increase comes from medical marijuana growing facilities that used 86 million kWh in 2012 and 121 million in 2013.

Water Consumption: It is estimated that each marijuana plant consumes 6 gallons of water a day. In 2013, Fish and Wildlife officials in California (where medical marijuana is legal) investigated 264 marijuana grows and removed 129 illegal dams used to irrigate. Outdoor marijuana grows can have a major impact on watersheds as the use of water resources within a watershed ultimately affects all downstream inhabitants, even those that reside in adjacent downstream watersheds. The diversion of water from watersheds in California is having a significant impact on residents, especially in drought season. Salmon Creek watershed, a 36.9 square mile area in Humboldt County, CA, estimated water use by outdoor and greenhouse marijuana grows equals 124,185 gallons per day compared to 31,680 gallons used per day by the area’s residents.

Florida has 29 major watersheds. The lowering of the water table can lead to houses or roads falling into sinkholes. Devastating results from attempts to alter the functioning of Florida’s watersheds, specifically the Everglades, has spurred current initiatives to restore this unique ecosystem. Amendment 2 would result in dramatic alterations to our watersheds and potentially cause irreparable damage to Florida’s ecosystem.

Hillary likely has Parkinson’s Disease

I received the below information from an unnamed source in the law enforcement community. Under today’s date, I received additional information stating a major announcement is forthcoming from the Clinton Campaign on Hillary Clinton’s health matters which have now become of major interest to citizens across the country.

Further released information today from a law enforcement source claims Hillary’s physical condition is deteriorating, and there are serious questions now being raised as to whether or not she is able to continue the campaign.

ALEX JONES network aired a special report today advising they were contacted directly by Secret Service providing details on candidate Clinton (I strongly urge you to listen to the ALEX JONES REPORT on this matter). Over 59% of citizens polled claim they want full and complete verified records released on the matter of her health. This poll result is a major, sobering, and disturbing concern to the Clinton Campaign and the Democrat National Party.

The information below is damaging to Clinton, and alarming to a growing number of Americans. The ALEX JONES REPORT provides supporting information to that mentioned below and directly from Secret Service observing her. I was further given preliminary details strongly suggesting that Hillary Clinton is experiencing “subcortical vascular dementia,” caused by damage to the deep layers of white matter in her brain. This condition is triggered by thickening and narrowing (atherosclerosis) of arteries that feed the subcortical area of the brain. At this juncture it is anyone’s guess whether the hardening of the arteries caused her numerous falls over the past four years or concussions as a result of said falls caused the hardening of the subcortical area of her brain; like the question of which came first, the chicken or the egg? What is of high certainty are the numerous and repetitive presentations becoming extremely difficult to cover-up; slurred speech, forgetfulness, thought confusion, small seizures, slipping and/or additional falling.

These physical symptoms are reasons for a lack of press conferences and very controlled public settings. No cameras with flash are now permitted in close proximity to Hillary, as the flash will trigger seizure activity. Her increased sleep schedule during the week and definitely through weekends may be a direct result of various medications administered to manage the reported Parkinson’s disease and the physical challenges associated with Traumatic Brain Injury secondary to severe concussion and atherosclerosis of arteries to the brain.

Some terribly serious concerns are arising, and possibly to the point that her continuation as a viable candidate for the presidency is now in question – or at least in the very back rooms of Clinton and Democrat politics.

Here she is exhibiting involuntary facial movements, tremor, and rigidity, when interrupted by hecklers. Notice how her body man (not a SS agent) gets to her immediately, and tells her to “keep talking” and she immediately snaps out her trance and says “I’m going to keep talking”.

Here she is experiencing diskinesia when startled by a sudden question.

She plays it off as a joke, but her body keeps moving. People are wrongly calling this a “seizure”. This is not a seizure. This is diskinesia. It is a symptom of levodopa treatment for Parkinson’s disease. The diazepam auto-injector her body man carries is a rapid but temporary treatment for the diskinesia if it happens in public. The side-effects of the diazepam treatment are fatigue, muscle weakness, confusion, and difficulty walking.

Were you wondering why hecklers at a rally are a major security concern? It’s because anything startling can trigger her episodes. That’s why her handlers immediately rushed on stage when they saw her freeze up and start making involuntary mouth movements.

Hillary has forbidden press from taking video or photos of her getting on or off her plane. This rule has been in effect for years, even going back to when she was heading the state department. The reason? She often needs to be assisted or even carried up and down the stairs. This has been stated by numerous whistle-blowers, including former SS agents.

If you’re wondering why there aren’t more examples, I will point out that Hillary has held only one press conference (one!) in the last 260 days — unheard of for a presidential candidate. She has made no public appearance that was not under 30 minutes, and entirely scripted, down to the questions asked, since her last debate with Bernie Sanders — during which she took an unscheduled 45 minute “bathroom” break in the middle.

Hillary Clinton is a very sick woman, and is likely dying. She has at least one degenerative disease, and is receiving regular treatments that affect mood, personality, energy level, and the ability to think and reason clearly. She is taking levodopa, valium, and possibly other drugs as well in order to appear normal in public. She is also concealing all of this from the public.

She may in fact be taking so much Valium to offset the levodopa treatment that she is experiencing periodic withdrawals, which would explain her horrible temper and the episodes of rage which have been described by former staffers, SS agents, and assistants.

Anyways, here’s Martin Shkreli, former CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals, speaking to the point.

Some people have commented on her “coughing fits” and that she might have cancer or something else.

Personally, I think this is also involuntary movement. That crater in her mouth isn’t a chancre caused by stage 2 syphilis, as some have suggested. It’s a lozenge. She has coughing fits. Specifically, involuntary upper respiratory spasm, difficulty swallowing, and inefficacy of normal coughing. These symptoms are consistent with Parkinson’s disease.

Hillary Clinton has Parkinson’s Disease, has had it for a while, is undergoing treatment for it that involves the use of mood-altering drugs, and she is concealing all of this from the public.

“Marijuana-Free Florida” presents the third in a series of public forums against the constitutional amendment to legalize medical marijuana to be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on August 22nd, 2016 at The Al Katz Center, 5710 Cortez Road, in the Cortez Commons shopping center.

Women involved in the highly-profitable marijuana cash-crop industry are paid extra to harvest cannabis topless and frequently suffer sexual abuse. Ads for women workers  describe them as sex objects:

“[L]ooking for new help, topless extra” or “Need a good looking trimmer that is … open minded [for sex acts].”

When California legalized medical marijuana, the public had no idea that the State’s rivers would be dried up due to each marijuana plant consuming five gallons of water per day, multiplied by 50,000 marijuana farms just in California and millions of thirsty plants, according to Scientific American. In fact, water consumption by every marijuana plant exceeds water consumption of the migrant workers, including children, who prepare marijuana for market.

Marijuana is a profit-driven cash crop, as was cotton, grown outdoors on plantations, often owned by interstate corporations, and in windowless, isolated factories, where migrants can labor under slave-like conditions. In California’s medical marijuana industry, migrants have been shot and murdered, execution-style, by the plantation owner on a rural 800-acre farm.

Throughout the world, in the United Kingdom and elsewhere, many thousands of impoverished children have been found imprisoned as slaves in marijuana factories.

In Florida, the first marijuana factory is hidden from public view in a rural area, surrounded by barbed wire, protected by armed guards, and secured by numerous checkpoints where cell phones are confiscated.

The decision to expand marijuana in Florida has limitless ramifications for expanded human trafficking, escalating crimes against women and children, enormous environmental damage through drought created by millions of ever-thirsty marijuana plants and gigantic electric consumption in marijuana factories, and deteriorating health conditions of migrant worker families and marijuana consumers exposed to high levels of toxic pesticides used on the plants and effectively unregulated by under-staffed agencies.

Cully Stimson of The Daily Signal wants to know if you’d be surprised to hear that an FDA-approved THC drug already exists.

Why should our taxes support medical care for people who eat, drink, smoke and abuse as they please?

We shouldn’t ‘Ask-our-doctor’ for a prescription when the huge majority of symptoms come from what people put in their mouths. It’s usually reversible if they know the cause and they change their habits.

But it’s easier said than done. Doing physicals on executives, several said sugar, cheese or meat bothered their joints, but when I got headaches, I didn’t know the cause. I consulted a neurologist who taught medical students and he said food was an unlikely cause of my tension headaches.

But an allergist, member of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, tested me and found I was allergic to wheat—bread, pasta and pastry. When I quit those foods 100%, no more headaches! This concept applies to most chronic conditions when the doctor doesn’t know the cause, and I was board-certified in internal medicine.

The body builds a tolerance to the allergic food, like to cigarettes—people don’t get sick when they smoke—they get symptoms when they don’t smoke, and that’s how food allergy symptoms can manifest.

If I had started down the path of prescription drugs, I would probably be an addict now, as millions are dependent on drugs for relief of symptoms. A trial of avoiding suspected favorite foods or beverages is recommended (especially with caffeine as it can cause a wide range of problems). Avoidance for a minimum of a week will often increase one’s symptoms for 2-3 days before a person sees improvement by the 5th -7th day.

Alcohol, tobacco and caffeine can cause severe reactions on withdrawal, but fatality is rare. Withdrawal symptoms are just a natural response to the body cleansing itself.

“Drug action always represents artificial interference with the natural functioning of the organism. In the widest sense of the word, every drug is by definition a poison; pharmacology and toxicology are one, and the art of medicine is to use these poisons beneficially.” Drill’s Textbook of Pharmacology in Medicine, Possible Mechanisms of Drug Action, Chapter 5.

Toxicology was the science of how much chemical kills half the lab animals. The rules have changed, but the game is the same due to Adverse Drug Reactions as the leading cause of illness, disability and death, supported by the following medical reports:

Adverse Drug Reactions put 2.2 million people in hospitals and 106,000 died, “making these reactions between the fourth and sixth leading cause of death.” Journal of American Medical Assoc, 4-15-1998

But how many died at home? 199,000 according to the Western Journal of Medicine,  June, 2000. Deaths in and outside hospitals from prescription drugs totaled 305,000, with 8 million admissions to the hospital and 3 million for long-term care (nursing homes–these people were messed up for life, and the drug companies get a free pass from the Supreme Court—they usually can’t be sued for death or damages they caused.

“From 1998 through 2005, reported serious adverse drug events increased 2.6-fold…fatal adverse drug events increased 2.7-fold…” Archives of Internal Medicine, Sept 10, 2007, p 1752.

But if deaths increased 2.7 fold from 1998 to 2005, they are increased 6.9-fold by 2016, because the cause of the increase, TV drug ads approved in 1997, continue unabated—if anything, they are enhanced. 305,000 deaths/year in 1998 have become 2.1 million/year. These aren’t old people in nursing homes like those dying from heart disease –most of these people weren’t in the hospital when the drug was prescribed.

2,100,000 deaths/year is nearly 7000 deaths daily–like two 9-11′s daily! On 9-11, Congress grounded all planes. Why not stop the drugs or hold their makers responsible? For each death, 40 people are hospitalized with serious ADR, and 15 go to a nursing home, messed up for life in most cases.

Confronted with such figures, a U.S. Senator said I was wasting my time, saying “they own us,” referring to the pharmaceutical industry that spends $400 million/year on congressional re-election campaigns, (Marcia Angell, MD, former editor of New England Journal of Medicine, 60 Minutes’ interview).

Congress voted for ObamaCare—20,000 pages largely written by the drug companies, but Congress declines ObamaCare for themselves. How dumb can we be?

People should consider that the last call in the Bible to come out of Babylon, the confused systems of society, Revelation 18.  Verse 23 says all nations are deceived by [pharmakeia, Greek] Medical texts are filled with diseases of “unknown etiology.” They don’t know the cause, so how can the drug be the cure?

Drugs are substances foreign to the body of a poisonous nature. Some people need hormone help with insulin or thyroid and being natural to the body, they aren’t drugs in the same sense of this discussion, though they are regulated by the FDA.
