War on Terror or a War on Guns?

Sadiq Khan, the mayor of London, was in New York City recently on an official visit. Commenting on the bombs that exploded while he was in town, he opined that such attacks are now simply “part and parcel” of life in major urban centers.

In the last several months there’s been a great deal of talk about how to address this “new normal,” including the need for a so-called “no fly, no buy” gun sales ban, pursuant to which persons on secret federal watchlists would be ineligible to legally purchase firearms. Many groups, including the NRA, oppose such proposals for the use of “vague and overbroad criteria and secret evidence to place individuals on blacklists without a meaningful process to correct government error and clear their names,” resulting in law-abiding Americans wrongly being prohibited along with known or suspected terrorists.

The shortcomings of these watchlists work in the other direction, too, by being under-inclusive. Law enforcement sources confirm that Ahmad Khan Rahami, the suspect charged in the recent New Jersey and New York City bombings, was not placed on any government terror watchlist, although he had been reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and flagged by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in 2014. After conducting an “assessment,” the FBI took no additional action in his matter. But even assuming that a “no-fly” gun ban had been in effect prior to these bombings, such bans focus on gun sales and have questionable preventative value when the weapons of choice are homemade bombs and explosive devices assembled using “over the counter” materials. 

In the aftermath of the Orlando nightclub shootings by homegrown jihadist Omar Mateen, both President Obama and Hillary Clinton were quick to call for greater gun control. Here, too, it’s illuminating to examine the existing allegations concerning Rahami. The FBI’s interest in Rahami was prompted by an investigation by local law enforcement. Documents show Ahmad K. Rahami was arrested in 2014 on charges related to stabbing a relative and possessing a firearm “with a purpose to use it unlawfully against… another,” in violation of New Jersey law. 

The warrant contains the police officer’s conclusion that there is “reason to believe that the [arrestee] is a danger to himself [and] others.” As it happens, New Jersey is notorious for its draconian gun laws, which featured in several high-profile prosecutions of otherwise law-abiding concealed carry permit-holders like Shaneen Allen, Brian Fletcher, and many others, all of whom faced conviction on second degree felony charges with a three-year mandatory minimum prison term, for possessing legal handguns for self-defense. Like those offenses, the gun violation cited in the warrant is a second degree crime. However, it appears Rahami was not prosecuted on these charges after a grand jury declined to indict him. 

It’s true that much of the facts involving Rahami remain unknown at this time. What is increasingly apparent, though, is that overbroad watchlist bans, hampering the ability of law-abiding “good guys” to possess and carry guns, is not the answer to stopping domestic terror threats.  Now more than ever, our laws need to empower honest citizens to be able to fully exercise their God-given right to self-defense.

Why Won’t The Press Call the NY Bomber An Islamist Terrorist?

Certain sections of the media have been reticent to identify Ahmad Khan Rahami’s Muslim identity in their coverage of his attack.

New York bomber Ahmad Khan Rahami, who stands accused of setting a pressure cooker bomb in Chelsea which injured 29 people on Saturday, has been charged in a criminal complaint. Rahami was arrested after a shootout on Monday.

He is also suspected of planting bombs in Seaside Park and Elizabeth, New Jersey.

After the shootout, police recovered a journal containing Islamist rhetoric and praise for known terrorist groups and ideologies.

“I looked for guidance came Sheikh Anwar, Brother Adnani, Dawla. Said it clearly – Attack the kuffar (non-believer) in the back yard,” Rahami wrote, referencing American Al-Qaeda ideologue Anwar al-Awlaki who was killed in a drone strike in 2011 and the Islamic State’s spokesperson Abu Muhammad al Adnani who was killed in August. (Dawla is an honorific term for a ruler or senior statesman.)

Adnani issued frequent calls to Westerners to carry out terrorist attacks within their home countries.

Rahami also wrote, “The sounds of bombs will be heard in the streets.”

The federal complaint makes mention of Rahami’s support for Al-Qaeda, but not his support for the Islamic State. However, an official told Fox News that more charges and complaints would most likely be brought and the complaint may be included later on.

Pictures of the journal, which is covered in blood from the shootout, are available on Fox News.

Yet networks such as NBC downplayed or ignored Rahami’s faith. The Media Research Center’s Dan Gainor assessed coverage of the attack and found that many news outlets sought to downplay possible links to terrorism as a motivation.

ABC and CBS focused on the fact that Rahami’s family filed a suit a few years ago against the local mayor and police alleging they had been subjected to anti-Muslim harassment.

USA Today wrote a piece on Tuesday which did not mention Rahami’s Muslim faith.

There are several reasons why the press and the government might want to downplay the Islamist motivations behind a terrorist attack:

1To Avoid Mass Panic

The desire to avoid mass panic by presenting the incident as calmly as possible may be a factor. While some may say this is a laudable goal, it sacrifices the virtue of accuracy. Media are supposed to bring their audience the truth in order to help them make informed decisions about the world.

Also, it remains questionable if an incident such as this would cause mass panic in the American public.

2To Downplay the Influence of Islamist Terror Groups

The press and government may think that they are avoiding strengthening Islamist terrorist groups by not giving them the oxygen of publicity for their ideas. If an attack carried out in the name of Islamist terrorism is not widely reported as such, then, so says this logic, the attack will be less effective.

Yet, if we are unable to accurately discern the motives we will not be able to construct effective solutions. Misdiagnosing the problem can lead to misapplication of solutions and therefore it behooves the media to give all the information it can in their coverage.

3To Avoid Accusations of Islamophobia  

Our politically correct society is hyper-focused on avoiding accusations of Islamophobia. Highlighting the perpetrator’s Islamic faith may be perceived as causing undue distress to the Muslim community by putting them under the spotlight. No one wants to be a bigot or to be accused of bigotry. Neither do people want to make a community uncomfortable in an increasingly tense climate.

But the rationale is misguided. The fastest way to combat anti-Muslim bigotry is to deal with the menace of Islamist extremism and put a stop to it. Once that is done, relations between Muslims and non-Muslims will improve and anti-Muslim bigots will lose credibility.

Contrary to the goal of decreasing bigotry, obfuscating in this way actually increases it, since people feel there is a cover-up.

4Lack of Importance in the Eyes of the Media

News organizations may have actually convinced themselves that Rahami’s Muslim faith is not an important part of the story. However, if this is really their reason, they are simply wrong. As his own journal shows, his radical ideology was a major factor in motivating him to carry out the attack.

Failing to mention Rahami’s faith is not only poor journalism, it’s an omission of necessary facts.

Confidential U.S. Intelligence Briefing: Illegal Migration and the Diseases Within

The attached report is a condensed form of the complete Intel Briefing Booklet I distributed to the attendees at the Arizona State Senate briefing. After submitting this report to a person with whom I have worked with over the past several years, and who now is an advisor on the Trump for President National Security Team, I was then requested to submit a one page only bullet point’s summary. There were several new items added to this briefing, like the two cases of Leprosy just discovered in Riverside, California; the 150-high school students in Manhattan, Kansas coming down with vomiting, bloody diarrhea, and coughing with school officials asking parents to bring stool samples to school for lab evaluations; the 100-cases of chlorine resistant bacteria found in pools in Arizona.

As I mentioned this report was sent to the person with whom I work with, and who serves on the Trump National Security Team approximately 1100 hours on September 9th. Dr. Carson’s Senior Assistant was to be given a copy of this briefing, also.

While the rhetoric regarding illegal crossings flowing into America and the concomitant influx of Middle Eastern “Refugees” into targeted States rages, the intelligence contained in this Briefing Summary transcends the debates, issues of political correctness, and politics in general.  The content herein stated is already at a critical stature, and could quickly spiral out-of-control and represent a pandemic set of circumstances.  You will receive unvarnished candor about the growing concerns health care professionals already are confronting in over twelve states, and multiplying.

This memorandum stems from a formal closed-door Intelligence Briefing I provided at the Arizona State Senate on August 17th, 2016.  We are now about one month later, and the conditions in multiple states, including the Border States of Arizona, California, and Texas are reportedly more challenging, and purposefully kept under the public radar.

Among the most remarkable acute diseases arriving with illegals are: scurvy, measles, chicken-pox, acute explosive diarrhea with third-world bacterial agents, and unknown bacteria and parasites attempting to resist antibiotics, as well as pernicious and new forms of lice and worms.  It is well known, but concealed and not reported to local and State health officials by the Federal Government, large segments of the unaccompanied children coming into America are seriously ill coupled with remarkable malnourished syndrome.  Additionally, numbers of TB cases are increasing rapidly, including treatment resistant TB. 

The Federal Government has now increased the speed and volume of third-world populations into the United States; interestingly, especially into politically conservative states.  The calculated work of the Feds has led to Muslims by the thousands from mostly terribly underdeveloped and deteriorating Muslim countries, including those Islamic Nations hostile to the United States, now arriving.  The U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest has presented official figures depicting a massive spike in Green Cards for Middle Easterners; most notably, Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Syria, and Iran.  In 2014 (the most recent year for which data is available) the U.S. awarded Green Cards to 103,901 immigrants from Middle Eastern countries entitling the holder to permanent legal status, federal benefits, and a direct path to US citizenship.  This is a 32% increase from the 78,917 given the year prior.  These numbers do not reflect the numbers of illegals and Middle Easterners successfully entering America from our unsecure southern Border.  There are unknown numbers of third-world humanity stemming from Haiti, Central America, and South America. 

The influx of humanity that is being discarded by these third-world Muslim countries is astounding, and fearful.  These people bring nothing of value with them; no skills, no education, no work ethic or even moral framework.  In point of fact, the preponderant majority of these people are hardened

Criminals, many purposefully released from prisons, and warriors who have only known civil war and strife by opposing gangs and warlords.  Their health conditions are terrifying which will demand a response to stem the  epidemic. 

For the first-time, medical professionals this past June found a person in Pennsylvania carrying a bacteria resistant to antibiotics.  This finding is highly disturbing, and health officials are sobered and alarmed.  In the past two weeks, a high school in Manhattan, Kansas experienced an outbreak of unknown type of bacteria or parasite creating bloody diarrhea, coughing and fever in over 150-students.  Parents were asked to collect specimens from their children for lab exams.  Refugees dumped in Vermont, North Dakota, Nebraska, Maryland have acute TB.  This past week in Riverside, California, two suspected cases of Leprosy have now been found on grade-school age children; Lab samples were sent to a specialty lab in Louisiana for confirmation but it will take 2-weeks for a definitive diagnosis.  Here in Arizona, over 100-cases of chlorine resistant bacteria were discovered in a couple of city operated pools. 

At the federal level there is silence coupled with denial.  At the state level, for at least upwards of fifteen states, there is horror as to what they are challenged with now, and concerned with in months ahead.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) and other agencies coordinating mass refugee resettlement are quick to reassure the public that NO problems exist, that speculation is merely politically motivated.  But data from health services in the States of Florida and Indiana belie that claim.  These two states have aggressively been combating the out-of-control refugee resettlement program fully underway in America.  The health services in these two states have confronted the political hogwash and typical political speak oxymoron spilling out from various federal agencies, especially CDC.  As an example, State of Florida Health Officials caught the CDC officially

Among the most serious responsibilities an Elected Official has upon being sworn into office is the responsibility to provide for the protection and welfare of the citizens to whom he/she serves.  A ticking medical time bomb exists across America with the ever increasing rise of illegals from third-world countries, and the refugee relocation program sponsored by the Washington establishment.  A Clear and Present danger that knows no political ideology or party or candidate, but is stealthily spreading seeking new places to hide is about to take up residence.  The chance for contracting a vicious disease mentioned in this report becomes ever significant, and this statement is NOT political rhetoric.

Medical Time Bomb NOW in America

We are exposed to viruses, bacteria and parasites that the average American has not been exposed to previously.

Doctors have not been trained to identify or treat some of these new diseases. 

We have NO antibiotic arsenal to defend against these superbugs especially CRE (Carbapenem-resistant enterobacteriaceae) and certain drug resistant TB.

Centers for Disease Control estimates as many as 2 million antimicrobial-resistant infections occur in the U.S. each year resulting in 23,000 deaths.

Unscreened refugees are being brought into our country and are being integrated into our communities:

  • NO background checks as to country of origin
  • NO previous medical history recorded
  • NO formal medical screening conducted
  • NO education on sanitation and basic hygiene practices

A little known disease sweeping across the Middle East, Cutaneous Leishmaniasis leaves thousands disfigured and/or severely scarred.  This disease is caused by a parasite found in the blood and is now showing up in America. No vaccines or drugs to prevent infection are available. 

Diseases can also be transmitted through infected livestock through the food chain to humans.  Diseases are spread by more than 20 parasites, bacteria and worms associated with animals. Vast quantities of antibiotics are given to livestock and E-coli is becoming drug resistant.

  • Ground-breaking new research has revealedsoaring levels of antibiotic resistance on beef, pork and chicken. Overuse of antibiotics in farming is contributing to deadly drug resistance – a crisis predicted to kill one person every 3 seconds by 2050.

TB Statistics:

More than 100 countries have reported individuals with TB, which is resistant to all or nearly all first- and second-line TB drugs.

  • The average cost for a hospital stay principally for a typical TB case was $20,100
  • According to the CDC, care of patients with drug-resistant TB, costs many times more – $134,000 for a multidrug-resistant patient and $430,000 for an extensively drug-resistant patient
  • The uninsured and Medicaid accounted for a disproportionate share of TB hospitalizations

In 2015, the largest number of refugees arriving in the United States were resettled in Texas (11 percent, or 7,479 persons) and California (8 percent, or 5,716). Large groups were also resettled in New York (6 percent, or 4,052), Arizona (5 percent, or 3,137), Michigan (4 percent, or 3,022), and Ohio (4 percent, or 2,989). Thirty-eight percent of all refugees were resettled in these top six states.

This data does not account for the 10,000 refuges that just arrived in the US nor the 86,000 Obama/Clinton want to relocate into America by January 1, 2017.

The public isn’t being told all the information required to make informed decisions for their towns, communities, counties or states.

Indiana – in 2015 – 400+/- migrants with latent TB settled in Indiana.  In July 2016, refugees with ACTIVE TB are being permitted entry and quietly treated with your tax dollars.  Indiana has a (26 percent) rate of TB infection among recently arrived refugees.

Idaho – Seven refugees with active tuberculosis (TB) were diagnosed shortly after their resettlement in Idaho, according to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.  90% of the 4,650 refugees resettled in Idaho between 2011 and 2015, were medically screened within the first three months of their arrival, according to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.   Of those screened, 21 percent (896) tested positive for TB.

Minnesota – 150 cases of TB in 2015, a (22 percent) rate of TB infection among recently arrived refugees.

Oklahoma – Oklahoma Rep. Jim Bridenstein was denied access last week to the HHS facility at Fort Sill – another facility run by BCFS.

Vermont – Department of Health concealing the number of refugees with contagious active tuberculosis a month after it was reported that more than one-third of Vermont’s resettled refugees test positive for TB.

Arizona – Active TB disease reported in Arizona totaled 198 in 2015.  Of the 222 cases of active tuberculosis infection (TB) …reported among Arizona’s refugee populations…were caused by latent tuberculosis infections that became active…,” according to the state’s Department of Health. Eighteen percent “of all refugees resettled in Arizona arrive with a latent TB infection.

Kentucky – 73 percent of recently arrived refugees who tested positive for LTBI did not successfully complete a treatment program, reported in 2013 study published by the University of Kentucky.

Tennessee – (27 percent) rate of Latent TB infection among recently arrived refugees.  Catholic Charities of Tennessee’s Office for Refugees, have failed to make to make public critical information on refugee tuberculosis (TB) health care.

California – An estimated 2.5 million Californians have latent infection with tuberculosis; most are unaware of their infection and are untreated.  2,145 cases were reported in 2014.  The estimated direct cost for active TB cases in California for 2014 was $51 million.

Texas – Amarillo Mayor, “We’ve been trying to figure out the numbers for refugees and diseases for years,” Harpole said. “We’ve fought to get information from the (U.S.) State Department and (Texas) Health and Human Services. We got no help.”

New Hampshire – Governor Maggie Hassan has requested a temporary halt to the refugee program until she gets assurances and details from the federal government regarding its process for resettling them or for vetting them, which she said is currently veiled in secrecy.

Kansas – More than two dozen cases of tuberculosis were detected at an eastern Kansas high school after coming into contact with an infected student.  After widespread screening, state and county health officials announced Wednesday the testing revealed 27 new cases of TB that hadn’t progressed to the contagious stage.

North Dakota – Dr. John Baird, Health Officer for the Fargo Cass Public Health Dept. confirmed diagnosing and treating refugees with active TB barely a month after Lutheran Social Services denied that any refugees it has resettled in ND have been diagnosed with active TB.

Additional states have experienced unique medical evidence of the spread of TB and other diseases in their states based on preliminary data.  However, since it is not conclusive, those states were not listed in this briefing.

Florida: Sarasota Hosts 3rd Annual Female Veteran’s Retreat — September 29th -October 3rd

women-veterans-retreat-2SARASOTA, Florida – Approximately twenty-five “women warriors” will again converge on Day Spring Episcopal Conference Center in Parrish, FL on September 29th – October 3rd, 2016 to participate in the free 3rd Annual Retreat especially planned for women who have served in our Armed Forces.  During this 4 day/3 night retreat, the women will share their military stories with not only each other, but also with professional people from the community who are volunteering their time to help resolve issues that especially affect WOMEN VETERANS . These women have chosen to attend this annual event not only to seek out the support of their peers, but also to discover any new resources that may be available to them.

This year, Rebecca Ludwick, (Ret’d Army Lt. and Retreat Coordinator) has worked countless hours to plan and to fundraise for this very special event.  “No one seems to realize the work involved in pulling something like this off for us veterans; especially without a full staff”.  But Georgie Alfano-Cronk knows very well what the job entails.  She did it for the first 2 years and has willingly taken a back seat this year to allow Rebecca to “try her wings and fly”.  “It is wonderful to see women veterans coming out of their shells and realizing their dreams” said Ms. Alfano-Cronk. “We were creative and beautiful women before we joined the military, so why shouldn’t we revert back to that image when we leave the military?”

There are now over 214,000 female veterans on active duty serving our country and 118,000+ additional women serving in the Reserves.  Women warriors make up approximately 15% of the United States Armed Forces and the total number of women veterans has reached 1,853,690 and is steadily rising.  And sadly included as part of those statistics are that 1 out of every 5 veterans do suffer from Military Sexual Trauma (MST).  As a community; we have come to realize that “unchecked” Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) can easily lead to substance abuse issues.  And since it is a real concern in dealing with such sensitive female issues, Rebecca and Georgie want to stay on top of it and assist as many Women Warriors as possible prior to them becoming downtrodden or addicted to drugs and alcohol.

I’m on an ISIS ‘Hit List’ — Now what?

On September 21st, 2016 the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) notified me that I was on a ISIS hit list of 8,000 people. The list names individuals who live in countries across the globe, from the Middle East to Europe to the United States.

I spoke with the agent at length and gave him some background that may have led to me being targeted for assassination by the Islamic State (ISIS):

  1. I am a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel.
  2. While in the military I was the U.S. Army’s anti-terrorism and terrorism counter-action doctrine specialist at the Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Monroe, Virginia.
  3. I am listed by name on the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) national Islamophobia.org website as an “Islamophobic individual.”
  4. I am listed by name on the CAIR-Florida website as an Islamophobic individual.
  5. I run this e-Magazine with multiple contributors who expose the dangers of terrorism and analyse Islamic doctrine and teaching.
  6. I am a member of a Florida based organization The United West, which has been designated by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a “hate group” for telling the truth about Islam.
  7. I am a contributor to the website Fitnaphobia.com, which counters the narrative of those websites targeting Islamophobia and Islamophobic individuals.
  8. Finally, I mentioned that when the U.S. Office of Personnel Management was hacked my Army personnel files were among those taken. The FBI agent said that his were taken as well. Small world.

The FBI agent I spoke with made note of my background and tried to assure me that there was no imminent threat of danger, but cautioned me to be observant and call 911 if I saw anything suspicious. He also gave me his direct line if I had any further questions or needed to update him.

After getting off the phone with the FBI agent I contacted several friends, one of which is a retired Department of Homeland Security agent, who worked to prevent terror attacks. His advice was that I should take being on an ISIS hit list seriously and take appropriate action to protect my family and close friends.

In February 2015 I wrote that the CAIR list of Islamophobic individuals was in effect a hit list for ISIS. This week the FBI has confirmed that statement.

The question for those on the ISIS hit list: Now what?

As FDR said, “There is nothing to fear but fear itself.” One cannot be afraid to speak out against evil.

As Edmond Burke wrote, “All it takes for Evil to prevail in this world is for enough good men to do nothing.”

Good men must do something. That something is to fight evil wherever it may be.

EDITORS NOTE: On April 4th, 2016 we received an email from Google AdSense with “a warning message” to alert us that there is action required to bring our AdSense account into compliance with “AdSense program policies.” The warning involved the website Fitnaphobia.com which according to Google AdSense, “[D]oes not allow the monetization of content that may be sensitive, tragic, or hurtful.”

Google AdSense went on to state, “While we believe strongly in the freedom of expression and offer broad access to content across the Web without censoring search results, we reserve the right to exercise discretion when reviewing sites and determining whether or not we are able to provide a positive user experience delivering contextually targeted ads to a site with this type of content.”

Weaponized Immigration — Suicide is not an act of compassion

The United States is at war with international terrorists, who, as the 9/11 Commission noted, must first enter the United States in order to attack it.

Consider the preface of the official government report, “9/11 and Terrorist Travel: Staff Report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States” that begins with the following paragraph:

It is perhaps obvious to state that terrorists cannot plan and carry out attacks in the United States if they are unable to enter the country. Yet prior to September 11, while there were efforts to enhance border security, no agency of the U.S. government thought of border security as a tool in the counterterrorism arsenal. Indeed, even after 19 hijackers demonstrated the relative ease of obtaining a U.S. visa and gaining admission into the United States, border security still is not considered a cornerstone of national security policy. We believe, for reasons we discuss in the following pages, that it must be made one.

Furthermore, although much has been made of the lack of integrity with respect to the U.S./Mexican border, the 9/11 Commission Staff Report on Terrorist Travel observed that most terrorists had entered the United States through international airports and then committed visa fraud and immigration benefit fraud to embed themselves in the country.

Page 54 of the report contained this excerpt under the title “3.2 Terrorist Travel Tactics by Plot,” which makes these issues crystal clear:

Although there is evidence that some land and sea border entries (of terrorists) without inspection occurred, these conspirators mainly subverted the legal entry system by entering at airports.

In doing so, they relied on a wide variety of fraudulent documents, on aliases, and on government corruption. Because terrorist operations were not suicide missions in the early to mid-1990s, once in the United States terrorists and their supporters tried to get legal immigration status that would permit them to remain here, primarily by committing serial, or repeated, immigration fraud, by claiming political asylum, and by marrying Americans. Many of these tactics would remain largely unchanged and undetected throughout the 1990s and up to the 9/11 attack.

Thus, abuse of the immigration system and a lack of interior immigration enforcement were unwittingly working together to support terrorist activity. It would remain largely unknown, since no agency of the United States government analyzed terrorist travel patterns until after 9/11. This lack of attention meant that critical opportunities to disrupt terrorist travel and, therefore, deadly terrorist operations were missed.

On Saturday September 17, 2016 terror attacks put international terrorism and immigration on the front page of newspapers across the United States and onto the “A Block” of television news programs.

On the morning of that last Saturday of summer, a bomb hidden in a garbage can detonated along the route of the “Seaside Semper Five,” a five-kilometer run and charity event along the South Jersey Shore waterfront to raise money for members of the United States Marine Corps and their families.  Fortunately, because the crowds were much greater than expected, the event was late in starting and so no one was injured.

On that Saturday evening, a bomb, constructed in part of a pressure-cooker, exploded in a dumpster in the Chelsea section of Manhattan where it had apparently been planted.  Shortly after the explosion rocked that trendy neighborhood of Manhattan a second bomb of similar construction was discovered just blocks away.

Both of these bombings and that third, unexploded bomb have been attributed to Ahmad Khan Rahami, a naturalized United States citizen who legally immigrated to the United States from his native Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, on that same Saturday evening, in Minnesota, allegedly Dahir Adan, an immigrant from Kenya, went on a violent rampage in the Crossroads Center shopping mall in St. Cloud, stabbing 9 innocent people.  His rampage ended when a police officer, Jason Falconer, confronted him.  Adan lunged at Officer Falconer who fired in self-defense, undoubtedly preventing a far worse attack.

According to an article published on September 19, 2016 in a local newspaper, the Star Tribune, during the attack Adan was wearing a security guard uniform and asked at least one of the victims if he was a Muslim.  Additionally, Adan was reported to have referred to Allah during the attack.

News reports assert he was 22 years old and beginning his third year at St. Cloud State University and was a member of the tight-knit Somalian immigrant community.

Information about the identity of this apparent terrorist was not provided by law enforcement authorities, but by his father who claimed that his son came to the United States some 15 years ago.

Aliens who enter the United States surreptitiously without inspection could be said to have entered the United States through America’s “back door.”  Most terrorists, however, enter the United States through America’s front doors located at the 325 ports of entry that are operated by CBP (Customs and Border Protection).

Both Ahmad Khan Rahami and Dahir Adan were admitted into the United States through America’s “front door.”

Given the severity of the threats America and Americans face and the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission it is incomprehensible that the failures of the lawful entry system and the systems by which applications for lawful status are adjudicated would face extreme scrutiny with the goal of insuring that these systems have real integrity.  Yet nothing could be further from the truth.

Politicians from both political parties have repeatedly called for providing lawful status for unknown millions of illegal aliens whose true identities, backgrounds and possible affiliations with criminal or terrorist organizations are unknown and unknowable.  There would be no way to interview millions of such aliens and certainly no way to conduct any field investigations.  This would create an open invitation to massive levels of fraud.

Should any doubt remain about the abject lack of integrity in the adjudications process, consider that on September 19, 2016 Fox News reported, “Watchdog: Feds wrongly granted citizenship to hundreds facing deportation” that focused on the findings of the Office of Inspector General for the DHS concerning how hundreds of aliens facing removal deportation had, instead, been granted United States citizenship.  These aliens were originally from countries identified as being “Special Interest Countries”- that is to say that these countries are associated with terrorism.

The report noted that of those who were able to game the naturalization process, some went on to acquire jobs, including in law enforcement where U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite.

Not long ago I wrote an article about a naturalized Somali immigrant who had “made it” to the FBI’s “Most Wanted Terrorists List.” The title of my piece was, “The Immigration Factor –Naturalized U.S. Citizen Added to FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists List.”

The FBI is greatly concerned about this individual who is charged with providing material support and resources to al Qaeda and al Shabaab, a Somali-based terrorist organization.  Additionally, he had worked as a cab driver in Washington, DC and has an intimate knowledge of DC’s infrastructure and government buildings.

Meanwhile, the Obama administration continues to admit Syrian refugees who, according to FBI Director, James Comey, cannot be vetted.  Hillary Clinton wants to increase the number of such refugees admitted into the United States by more than 500%.

Clinton wants to provide unknown millions of illegal aliens with lawful status which would require that USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) to adjudicate all of these applications.

USCIS is the division of the DHS that is charged with adjudicating all of those applications for various immigration benefits including granting political asylum and conferring United States citizenship upon aliens.  This is the very same inept and and incompetent agency that naturalized hundreds of deportable aliens.

Repeatedly Hillary and her open borders / anarchist accomplices have invoked the issue of “compassion” to justify admitting huge numbers of refugees who cannot be vetted and providing illegal aliens who entered the United States covertly with lawful status, even though there would be no way to verify their identities, backgrounds, affiliations with criminal or terrorist organizations or even determine when they actually entered the United States.

Terrorists have come to see in our compassion vulnerabilities they can exploit and use against us.

The report, “9/11 and  Terrorist Travel – Staff Report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States.” included this paragraph:

“Once terrorists had entered the United States, their next challenge was to find a way to remain here. Their primary method was immigration fraud. For example, Yousef and Ajaj concocted bogus political asylum stories when they arrived in the United States. Mahmoud Abouhalima, involved in both the World Trade Center and landmarks plots, received temporary residence under the Seasonal Agricultural Workers (SAW) program, after falsely claiming that he picked beans in Florida.” Mohammed Salameh, who rented the truck used in the bombing, overstayed his tourist visa. He then applied for permanent residency under the agricultural workers program, but was rejected. Eyad Mahmoud Ismail, who drove the van containing the bomb, took English-language classes at Wichita State University in Kansas on a student visa; after he dropped out, he remained in the United States out of status.

It is time for our government to secure our borders, enforce our immigration laws and disarm the terrorists who would kill our citizens and destroy our nation by depriving them the opportunities to enter the United States and embed themselves throughout our country.

‘Vote No on 2’ Campaign Releases Three Questions for Hillary Clinton

Back in 2014, when Hillary Clinton was asked about “medical” marijuana, she said:

“I don’t think we’ve done enough research yet.”

But as recently as July 2016, the Democratic presidential nominee was on Jimmy Kimmel Live saying,

“I think what the states are doing right now needs to be supported. I absolutely support all the states that are moving toward medical marijuana.”

Her recent change of tune is odd seeing as how the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the American Epilepsy Society (AES) are all still opposed to state medical marijuana programs because, according to them, there’s a lack of conclusive evidence (i.e. we still haven’t done enough research yet).

Not to mention the Obama Administration, which she supposedly also fully supports, very recently reaffirmed marijuana would remain a Schedule I Drug. They said: “This decision isn’t based on danger. This decision is based on whether marijuana, as determined by the FDA, is a safe and effective medicine,” he said, “and it’s not.”

Her newfound support of “medical” marijuana begs the question as to how Hillary Clinton could possibly be privy to scientific studies which are not only unknown to the AMA, AAP, AAFP and the AES, but which are also apparently unknown even to the White House. Is there a secret email she’s not telling us about?

Here are three questions the “Vote No on 2” campaign has for presidential nominee Hillary Clinton:

1. Hillary Clinton – Might your newfound support for “medical” marijuana have anything to do with the fact that John Morgan (a.k.a. Mr. Marijuana) is hosting his second presidential campaign fundraiser for you this evening?

2. Hillary Clinton – Do you really support a “medical” marijuana law that allows pretty much anyone to get their hands on would be permanently embedded into Florida’s constitution where it can’t be changed, limited or fixed?

The Florida Medical Association (FMA) unanimously passed a resolution in opposition to Amendment 2, stating: “There is nothing medical about this proposal.”

Orange County Sheriff, Jerry Demings, agreed “Though it’s being billed as about medical, we know it’s about recreation. It’s the wolf in sheep’s clothing.”

Finally, five former Florida Supreme Court Justices published a column in the Tampa Bay Times exposing Amendment 2’s gaping pot legalization loophole. The Justices agreed: “The result is an amendment that will open wide the door to marijuana use regardless of its need as a compassionate, alternative treatment option.” They go on to say: “If we enshrine Amendment 2 in the Florida Constitution, the people of Florida will forfeit their ability to legislatively improve the law and to address the inevitable unintended consequences.”

3.  Hillary Clinton – Do you really support a law that specifically authorizes and legalizes kid-friendly pot candy with no limits on levels of THC, and which would inevitably increase a child’s risk of unknowingly ingesting THC?

In medical marijuana states like California and Colorado, children are being rushed to the emergency room after unknowingly ingesting candy that looks just like the junk foods they know and love, but is actually infused with THC.

Liberal Mother Pushes Her Little Son into Masquerading as a Girl

One of the characteristics of our declining civilization is that, more and more, reality seems like satire. A good example is a recent New York Times article titled “From He to She in First Grade.” Yeah, you guessed it, this is about another boy allowed to masquerade as a girl, aided and abetted by parents and teachers who belong in rubber rooms.

In the piece, a Seattle resident (first red flag, as Seattle is Lib-nut Central) and aspiring author named Laurie Frankel writes about how her six-year-old lad ultimately “decided” to attend school in a dress. However, it’s plain that she and her capon of a husband — I get the feeling he’s sort of a non-entity “Yes, dear!” type — steered her son into a Made-up Sexual Status (MUSS), which some people call “transgenderism,” a term new enough so that my Word 2007 program still flags it as a misspelling.

Frankel tells us that this MUSS adventure started when she and her capon bought their boy a puppet theater and dress-up clothes for his sixth birthday; the sartorial assemblage, she tells us, “included high heels, a pink straw hat, a dazzling fairy skirt and a sparkly green halter dress” because she didn’t want to limit her son’s costume choices. Frankel then writes, “He was thrilled with these presents. He put on the sparkly green dress right away. In a sense, he never really took it off.”

She goes on to explain that he began donning the dress more and more; where he would initially wear it only when the family was alone, he eventually started keeping it on even when friends and guests were over and when leaving home. About this, Frankel writes, “My husband and I were never of the opinion that girls should not wear pants or climb trees or get dirty, or that boys should not have long hair or play with dolls or like pink, so the dress did not cause us undue alarm or worry.” Yeah, your son is just cross-dressing. Nothing to see here — move along!

But when school was set to begin, Frankel actually had a dilemma. Should she protect him by limiting her kid’s drag-queen ambitions to the home front or say, she writes, “Wear whatever you’re comfortable in to school”? Now here’s a quiz question: do you think Mizz Hen and capon made the decision or that it was left up to the confused chick?

If you chose the latter, go to the head of the class. Frankel tells us her son dithered for weeks, but then made up his mind the day before school’s opening. She writes, “I later learned that this is remarkably common, that children who make decisions like this often do so as push comes to shove.”

Actually, lady, that’s called childhood impulsiveness. That’s why kids have parents (or, at least, some do).

Frankel continued, “They [children] achieve clarity when they are faced with two not-great options.”

Uh, six-year-olds don’t achieve “clarity.” Apparently, many adults don’t, either.

So Frankel goes out and buys her son a wardrobe because, she tells us, “The fairy skirt and sparkly green dress were play clothes. He didn’t have any skirts or dresses that were appropriate for school.” (By the way, if a child should be allowed to choose clothes based on his “identity” and not societal norms, which supposedly are wrong to impose, why then lend credence to norms dictating what is “appropriate” for school?) She was worried, however, that he might have to endure teasing; after all, it is possible there still are a few normal children left in Seattle. So she contacted her son’s teacher to notify her, which brings us to quiz question number two: do you think the teacher was taken aback or was all-in for the kiddy drag scene?

If you picked the latter, again, go to the head of the class. But since Frankel still was worried that normalcy could rear its head among some of the children, she writes about her and her son:

So we brainstormed. We role-played. We practiced saying, “If girls can wear pants or skirts, so can boys.” We practiced saying: “You wear what you’re comfortable wearing. This is what I’m comfortable wearing.” We practiced polite ways of suggesting they mind their own business.

Frankel tells us that while her son did endure some teasing, it was generally over within a month. At the end of her article, she was calling the boy a girl and referencing him using feminine pronouns. And regarding some thoughts she had about how his cross-dressing and MUSS confusion may just be a phase, she wrote, “He had already decided. He didn’t think about that anymore. And he — she — never looked back. She grew out her hair. She stopped telling people she was a boy in a skirt and started being a girl in a skirt instead.”

So he — a six-year-old — “decided.” Question: does Frankel let him decide whether or not he’ll go to school in the first place? Can he decide on what to have for dinner, maybe ice cream every night? Why not? After all, a common theme in Frankel’s article is that she and capon supported the cross-dressing because it was “what would make our child happiest”; in girls’ clothes, she informs, he was “grinning, glowing, with joy.” Well, I remember the night before kindergarten when, at a Chinese restaurant, I was still rationalizing and saying I wasn’t going to school the next day. I certainly would’ve glowed if I could have “decided” to skip it. And tell the average six-year-old he can choose ice cream, cake or candy for dinner and watch his face light up.

True love, and wisdom, mean giving children not necessarily what they want but what they need. After all, young children have little idea about what will make them happy and healthy over the long haul.

Nonetheless, Frankel writes, “Our child could go to school dressed in shorts and a T-shirt and feel wrong and awkward and not himself. Or he could wear what felt right….” Sure he could, but many wrong things feel right. Consider: Frankel’s son would be diagnosed as having so-called “gender dysphoria,” the sense that you’re stuck in the body of the wrong sex. Yet the psychobabblers also define something termed “species dysphoria,” the sense that you’re an animal stuck in a human body. Examples could be “Wolfie Blackheart,” a Texas girl who claims she’s a canine; and “Nano,” a Norwegian woman going the feline route. So if a six-year-old’s “feelings” can be considered arbiters of reality, why not let him attend school naked if he swears he’s a ferret? I mean, the idea of wearing clothes is anthropocentric, you know.

Raising children is all about imposing values. Because a boy is a human and not a ferret, we force not just to clothing upon him, but also manners, language and 1000 other things befitting a human. And it’s no more abnormal placing a child in a “gender straitjacket” (though the word should be “sex,” not “gender”) than in a “species straightjacket.” In fact, so called “sex stereotyping” is a good thing. Just as we train a child with a gift for music in music and not in tennis, so as to cultivate his talents, a sex-specific upbringing serves to help a child reach his potential as a member of his sex.

“Transgenderism” is not a scientifically determined designation but an ideologically determined one, as I explain in-depth here. It is the Lysenkoism of our time, and it will likely be discarded in two or three decades. Until then, sadly, children will continue to be irreparably scarred by what is nothing but a severe form of child abuse.

The Stain that Would be on Obama’s Conscience — If He Had One

While speaking at the United Nations Tuesday and advocating more Muslim migration into the West, Barack Obama likened a refusal to accept the Muslims to the “turning away [of] Jews fleeing Nazi Germany,” which he called “a stain on our collective conscience.” But while Obama sought to lecture us, he actually condemned himself.

Of course, there is no equivalence between the WWII-era Jews and the Muslim migrants, as no one had to worry about terrorists being embedded among the former. In contrast, we know for a fact that terrorists are among the Muslim migrants. Without comprehensive Western-style databases in Syria (which is supposedly the focus) and with bribery getting you official government documents saying you’re whoever you want to be in that nation, there simply is no way to vet these people. But that Obama would attempt a flawed analogy isn’t his real shame here. It’s that the real analogy isn’t between the WWII Jews and today’s Muslim migrants.

It’s between the WWII Jews and another persecuted minority: the Middle East Christians.

You know, the people who multiple sources say face genocide as Christianity is gradually wiped out in the Mideast.

They’re also the people Obama won’t lift a finger to help.

In fact, while Christians are 10 percent of Syria’s population and are being targeted by Islamic State, only one half of one percent of Obama’s Syrian migrants have been Christian.

That translates into 56 out of 10,801 “refugees.”

It’s so astounding that even liberal Newsweek ran an article titled “The U.S. Bars Christian, Not Muslim, Refugees From Syria.” Really compassionate guy that Obama, huh? Have any more lectures for us, Barry?

Since it’s clear Obama couldn’t care less who lives or dies in the Middle East, the question is raised: what is his real agenda?

Try this on for size: the vast majority of U.S. Muslims now vote Democrat, with Obama having gotten 89 and 85 percent of their votes in, respectively, 2008 and 2012.  In contrast, believing Christians are known to support conservatives. And it isn’t as if Obama doesn’t know this. He said last year that immigration was making America “more and more of a hodgepodge of folks” who he was “hopeful” would drown out conservatism (hey, didn’t you always want to live in a hodgepodge?).

Of course, this only works if you have the right hodgepodge. And with 70 to 90 percent of today’s immigrants voting Democrat upon being naturalized, liberals love the mix. Just keep the Christians out.

This is what Obama and his ilk mean when saying “Our strength lies in our diversity”: “Our [Democrat political] strength lies in our [orchestrated] diversity.” They’re just not as blunt as was Andrew Neather, ex-advisor to former British prime minister Tony Blair, when he admitted that the massive Third World immigration into the U.K. was designed “to rub the Right’s nose in diversity and render their arguments out of date.” Hey, it doesn’t matter if it destroys Western culture. Why serve in Heaven when you can reign in Hell?

The reality, again, is that Obama cares as much about Mideastern lives as he does about Hillary’s emails. Immigration, “refugee” acceptance, family reunification, etc. are all about one thing and one thing only: importing voters. If most new immigrants would support Republicans, we’d have about as much immigration as North Korea. And the border? There’d be an impenetrable wall, sunk down 100 feet into the earth, with an electrified fence on top of it and organ-disrupting, pain-inducing sound wave weapons mounted on turrets every thousand feet of its length.

Oh, and drones with heat and motion sensors would be buzzing about monitoring it 24/7/365.

Obama would have many stains on his conscience, if he actually had a conscience. But possession of such generally eludes twisted, evil, vile men.

The Destruction of Haiti by Bill and Hillary Clinton

The history of the Clintons involvement in Haiti dates back over 23 years, when then President Bill Clinton, in October of 1993, ordered warships into Haitian waters to enforce a U.N. trade embargo and prepared a small contingent of troops and show of force to pave the way for the return to power of  controversial, Marxist leader, Jean Bertrand Aristide.  Former leader of the Haitian Senate, Bernard Sansaricq, witness to the plan, recently presented his experience of working with the Clinton surrogates to an overflowing room at a recent Champions of Liberty Alliance, (formerly TPFL), meeting.

Mr. Sansaricq, the son of a prominent coffee exporter, became involved in Haitian politics at a very young age, when his friends 15 and 16 years old were killed because of their ideology.  He was the subsequently sent to the U.S. by his father, who revered America, to attend military school and the R.O.T.C.  After graduation, he was drawn back home to Haiti, where he held dreams of transforming Haiti into a free market country, emulating America.

Mr. Sansaricq held the position of President of the Senate when preparations were underway for dictator Aristitide to come back to power.  The American government, under Clinton, supported the U.N. embargo cutting off Haiti’s lifeline of food and medicine; over 49,000 infants died as the result.  The coup to bring Aristide back to power was supported by the U.S. Black Congressional Caucus and over five billion USD backed the plan. Mr. Sansaricq was approached by Bill Richardson, a Clinton’s surrogate, who pressured him to back the plan; he unequivocally told him not to do it.  Weeks later, he received a call from a person in the U.S. Embassy and the message was clear: ‘back the plan and join our side and you will be the richest man in Haiti.’ He told them to go to hell.  One week later, the State Dept. revoked his U.S. visa because “he was not supporting democracy in Haiti.” (It would take 8 years for it to be reinstated.)

The Clinton administration ordered troops on the ground in Haiti and the invasion was taken to another level.  Aristide’s henchmen were ruthless, and Mr. Sansaricq related a story of a young 28 year old female attorney who was murdered in the process as well as other innocents.  Mr. Sansaricq, who survived one assassination attempt, was advised by a high level government official and confidant in the Dominican Republic to leave immediately, or he would be killed.

The Aristide-Clinton drug connection was a pathway for hard drugs and cocaine to enter the U.S. with the support of drug kingpin Pablo Escobar.  (Some estimates were that over $20 million a month was trafficked through Haiti while the U.S.G. turned a blind eye and exported death to American youth.)

The pillage of Haiti was further underway after the 2010 earthquake, with over 300,000 people dead and 2 million people left homeless.  The Clinton “Con Game” began through the I.H.R.C, Interim Haiti Recovery Commission. Using her position as Secretary of State, Hillary devoted her efforts to the Haitian recovery and The Clinton Foundation led the fund-raising efforts for relief in this poor, third world country.

Bill Clinton had long been perceived as the ‘shadow governor of Haiti,’ and the Clintons were the power brokers in the Haiti relief effort, and if you wanted to do business in Haiti, you needed to have a relationship with The Clintons.  The hidden truth is that Haiti has a wealth of hidden resources such as gold and oil.  The VCS Mining Company received a gold permit and after the permit was issued, VCS put Hillary’s brother, Tony Rodham in charge.  The global communications provider, Digicel, run by Clinton Foundation contributor, O’Brien made millions in revenues.  Caracol Industrial Park, a $300 million investment the Clinton State Dept. claimed would produce 65,000 jobs never met that goal and the anchor tenant is a Korean manufacturer and Clinton Foundation supporter. The list of corporate donors involved in the Clinton scheme in Haiti runs deep.

The Clinton control of this small, destitute island has spanned over two decades.  Despite the relief efforts after the 2010 earthquake that left over 2 million people homeless, modest reconstruction has surfaced for the people of Haiti; many people are still living in tents with no running water.  However, the construction of corporate parks and enterprises abound. It is just another chapter for the Clintons in their ‘pay for play’ enterprise extracting riches for themselves and benefitting their donors.  The people of Haiti are still wondering where the millions in relief funds went.

Footnote:  In closing Mr. Sansaricq expressed outrage at what the Clintons had done to his country and told the group that Mr. Trump needed to hear his story. Apparently his wish was granted, within four days, this writer was contacted by Mr. Sansaricq and he said that Mr. Trump was having a rally in Miami and he was asked by a Trump official to meet with him and two other former Haitian officials for a roundtable discussion!

In past two years Ten Muslim terrorists slipped through the U.S. immigration process

“Ten Times in Past Two Years Terrorists Slipped Through Immigration Process into U.S.,” by Matthew Boyle, Breitbart, September 20, 2016:

NEW YORK CITY, New York — In the wake of the terrorist attacks in New York City and Minnesota during the weekend, the focus of the national debate has again shifted back to America’s enemies exploiting weaknesses in U.S. immigration screening processes to get into the country to attack the United States.

While President Barack Obama’s administration, and his would-be successor, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton, have promised to increase the amount of people they bring into the United States through immigration, refugee, and asylum programs, the Republican nominee for president, Donald J. Trump, has promised to put the brakes on allowing potential terrorists into the United States.

Below is a by-no-means comprehensive list of at least ten times in the last couple years—there are certainly many more instances—that terrorists have exploited the Obama-Clinton immigration weaknesses to get into the United States. This is the first in a series of stories that will examine specific examples on this front.

1.) Eritrean Plans Terror in Ohio

Twenty-one-year-old Munir Abdulkader of West Chester, Ohio, pleads guilty, according to the Department of Justice, “to attempting to kill officers and employees of the United States, providing material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), a designated foreign terrorist organization, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.”

According to the Columbus Dispatch, Abdulkader is a “native of Eritrea in east Africa,” who “became a citizen of the United States in September 2006.”

He hit law enforcement’s radar while a student at Xavier University in Cincinnati when he was posting messages on Twitter that the Columbus Dispatch said were “seen as sympathetic to Islamic State fighters.”

“On a Twitter account that began in July 2014 and continued into 2015, Abdulkader posted an IS training video, lamented that his cousin had died fighting for IS and expressed his desire to travel and join the terrorist insurgency,” James Steinbauerwrote in the Columbus Dispatch in July. He added:

Abdulkader also stated his wish to attain martyrdom. From March to mid-April 2015, Abdulkader began speaking with a confidential source about his intentions to travel to Syria and fight for the insurgency. He secured a passport, saved money for the trip and began making travel plans, but postponed the trip until May 2015 because of increased arrests of individuals traveling to join IS. During May 2015, Abdulkader communicated with one or more people overseas who were tied to IS. One, a member of IS identified as Junaid Hussein, encouraged Abdulkader to commit terrorist attacks in the United States before going to Syria. IS has advocated for lone-wolf jihadis and extremists to conduct attacks in their home countries.

In his communications with Hussein, the Islamic State recruiter encouraged the Eritrean immigrant—according to the Justice Department—“to plan and execute a violent attack within the United States.”

“Abdulkader communicated with Hussein and the CHS [confidential human source] about a plan to kill an identified military employee on account of his position with the U.S. government,” the Justice Department said in a press release. “The plan included abducting the employee at the employee’s home and filming the execution. After killing the employee, Abdulkader planned to perpetrate a violent attack on a police station in the Southern District of Ohio using firearms and Molotov cocktails.”

None of this would have been possible if the United States government had not let this Eritrean man into the United States in the first place.

2.) Virginia Man? Not Quite.

Also back in July, The Washington Post’s Rachel Weiner and Joe Helm detailed the story of Mohamed Bailor Jalloh—an immigrant from Sierra Leone—who was caught plotting a terrorist attack in support of the Islamic State in Virginia.

“When Mohamed Bailor Jalloh walked into the Blue Ridge Arsenal gun store and indoor target range in Chantilly, Va., on Friday to purchase a Bushmaster AR-15 rifle, he had no idea that his every move was being monitored by the FBI,” Weiner and Helm wrote on July 5. “Jalloh, 26, spent about 10 minutes in the shop before attempting to buy the assault weapon, but he was told that he did not have the required three forms of identification to make the purchase, said Earl Curtis, the store’s owner. Jalloh told employees that he would return.”

Jalloh had apparently been a former member of the Virginia National Guard—and that was how The Washington Post’s headline identified him. What the leading newspaper did not say until 16 paragraphs into the article is that Jalloh is not from the United States.

“Jalloh, a native of Sierra Leone, is a U.S. citizen,” the Post wrote.

That’s all the nation’s capitol’s major newspaper said in that story about his immigration history.

According to Justice Department documents, Jalloh was born in Sierra Leone—a West African nation that is predominantly Muslim—and actually after becoming naturalized later as a U.S. citizen traveled back to Sierra Leone in 2015. In addition to disclosing that he listened to lectures from Anwar Al-Awlaki, Jalloh—according to court records available of the Department of Justice’s website—told a confidential human source for federal law enforcement he is “originally from Sierra Leone and has been a Muslim his entire life.” During his trip back to his home nation of Sierra Leone, federal authorities—according to the court records—believed he had contact with representatives for the Islamic State. He was gone for months.

“A review of U.S. Customs and Border Protection travel records indicated JALLOH departed the United States on or about June 11, 2015 via John F. Kennedy International Airport with a final destination of Sierra Leone,” the court document, filed by an FBI agent, says, continuing:

On or about January 16, 2016, JALLOH returned to the United States from Sierra Leone via John F. Kennedy International Airport. Based on the length of time JALLOH was overseas for this trip and the comments made by JALLOH to CHS1 [confidential human source number one] on or about April 9, 2016, I believe it was during this overseas trip that JALLOH met ISIL members in Nigeria and first established contact with UCCl [un-indicted co-conspirator number one].

But it all started, of course, when the U.S. government decided to let this guy into the United States in the first place.

3.) Kenyan Somali ‘Refugee’ — Or Minnesota Man? — Convicted on Terrorism Charges

Guled Ali Omar, a Somalian born in a refugee camp in Kenya but later admitted into the United States as a refugee and subsequently granted citizenship by the U.S. government, was one of three “Minnesota Men” convicted in June of conspiring to join the Islamic State and “commit murder in Syria.”

“Guled Ali Omar, Abdurahman Yasin Daud and Mohamed Abdihamid Farah were convicted by a federal jury today of conspiring to commit murder in Syria on behalf of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and to provide material support to the designated foreign terrorist organization,” the Justice Department announced on June 3. “Omar was also convicted of one count of attempted financial aid fraud, and Farah was also convicted of one count of perjury and providing a false statement.”

Omar’s case is particularly interesting. His family, in the wake of his conviction, was given fawning coverage by local Minnesota media. In a large profile in the MinneapolisStarTribune, his mother Fadumo Hussein was described as “heartbroken” and portrayed as having her “home” being “shadowed” by “the question of terrorism” for years.

The local newspaper paints the FBI agents who raided their home as jackbooted thugs who disrupted their life.

“On Sunday morning, that question once again stormed into her life, when FBI agents crashed through the door of her south Minneapolis house in search of her youngest son, Guled Omar,” Paul McEnroe wrote in the Star Tribune on April 21, 2015, adding:

Rousting her from sleep, the agents had surrounded the house about 9 a.m. and then stormed in to arrest her 20-year-old son. The young man, who works as a security guard for Target and attends community college part-time, is now charged with leading a secret life centered on plotting with five friends to leave the United States in order to fight with terrorists in Syria and Iraq.

Deeper in the story, though, the StarTribune lets it slip: Omar was not just any typical “Minnesota Man.”

The newspaper quotes the mother as saying, “Guled was born by myself under a tree” during their time “spent in a Kenyan refugee camp.” Never mind that this is Hussein’s second—not her first, her second—son who has been connected with radical Islamic terrorism, the Minneapolis StarTribune focuses on how Hussein, about Omar, was “protesting his innocence.”

“Still reeling from the weekend’s trauma, a tearful Hussein sat on her couch Monday morning and tried to come to grips with now losing her second son to the nationwide investigation of terrorist recruitment among Somali-Americans,” McEnroe wrote:

Omar is the youngest brother of indicted fugitive Ahmed Ali Omar, who left the U.S. in late 2007 as part of the first wave of Somali-Americans in the Twin Cities to fight for Al-Shabab in Somalia. Hussein said she hasn’t heard from Ahmed since — that he’s simply disappeared off the family’s radar. Now, she faces the prospect of losing Guled too, through a terrorism trial or a guilty plea that, either way, could put him in prison for decades.

While the StarTribune article, even further down, tells readers finally that Hussein is a “naturalized U.S. citizen,” it says nothing of the immigration status of Omar. For that information—whether or not Omar was granted U.S. citizenship by the government after coming to the United States—readers need to turn to another newspaper: TheChicago Tribune. More than ten paragraphs into that article from the Tribune wire service, readers finally learn: The United States government gave this man citizenship.

“All six are of Somali descent. Daud is a permanent resident, and Guled is a naturalized citizen,” the paper wrote of the six charged men. “The others were born in the U.S.”

To the wire service’s credit, though, it does—a few paragraphs deep—admit there is a problem in Minnesota:

The Minneapolis area is home to the largest concentration of Somali immigrants in the U.S. Since 2007, more than 22 young Somali men have also traveled from Minnesota to Somalia to join the militant group al-Shabab, which is also listed by the U.S. State Department as fomenting terrorism. Authorities have said a handful of Minnesota residents have traveled to Syria to fight with militants in the past year, and at least one has died.

4.) Legal Permanent Resident Abdurahman Yasin Daud Moves In Next Door

One of the others charged in the case in the third example—Abdurahman Yasin Daud—is a native Somalian who wound up in Minnesota, thanks to the U.S. government. But not only was he allowed into the country, according to the Tribune wire service piece in the Chicago Tribune, he was granted “permanent resident” status by the U.S. government.

Maybe if federal policy did not let people like this into the United States in the first place, FBI agents would not have to chase people like Daud and his buddies across the country as they plot to leave the United States to join the Islamic State in Syria.

In fact, federal law enforcement agents spent years—years—building this case.

Omar and two other members of the conspiracy also made an attempt to join ISIL by traveling across the U.S.–Mexico border near San Diego in May 2014, but failed when members of Omar’s family prevented his travel.

“In October 2014, members of the conspiracy communicated with ‘Antar,’ a self-described member of ISIL in Syria, about how best to travel to Syria to join ISIL,” the Justice Department said in a press release, adding:

Members of the conspiracy met with one another to discuss routes, methods and the timing of leaving the United States to join ISIL in Syria. Omar again attempted to join ISIL in Syria on Nov. 6, 2014, by flying from Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport to San Diego, crossing the border into Mexico and traveling onward to Syria. Before he could board the flight in Minnesota, Omar was stopped at the airport and prevented from boarding the plane. In order to fund this second attempt to join ISIL in Syria, Omar intended to use federal financial aid provided to him by the U.S. Department of Education to attend college. Also in November 2014, Farah and three of his co-conspirators, Zacharia Abdurahman, Hanad Musse and Hamza Ahmed, took a bus from Minneapolis to New York City and attempted to board flights to Europe with an eventual destination of Syria. Federal agents in New York prevented the four from traveling abroad. In April 2015, Daud and Farah drove from Minneapolis to San Diego, where they intended to purchase fake passports, cross the border into Mexico and travel to Syria to join ISIL. Unbeknownst to them, the individual from whom they purchased the fake passports was a law enforcement officer and both were arrested by federal agents immediately after obtaining the phony travel documents.

5.) Sudanese Man Caught in Virginia Conspiring to Join Islamic State

While the January 16 press release from the Department of Justice was headlined “Two Virginia Men Charged with Terrorism Offenses Related to Attempted Travel to Syria to Join ISIL,” it turns out one of these “Virginia men” was actually an immigrant from the great nation of Sudan.

Mahmoud Amin Mohamed Elhassan—whom the DOJ admits “ is a legal permanent U.S. resident originally from Sudan,” but was living in Woodbridge, Virginia—was “charged with aiding and abetting [his friend Joseph Hassan]  Farrokh’s attempt to provide material support and resources to a designated foreign terrorist organization.” Farrokh was born in Pennsylvania.

Elhassan, the Sudanese man, according to a later release from the DOJ announcing his indictment on May 27, was a taxi driver who used his taxi to try to help Farrokh get to Syria to join the Islamic State.

“In furtherance of the conspiracy, on Jan. 15, 2016, Elhassan drove Farrokh to Richmond in order to enable Farrokh to fly to overseas to join ISIL,” the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Eastern District of Virginia announced in the indictment press release:

According to the indictment, Elhassan also attempted to provide material support or resources to ISIL by aiding and abetting the attempt of Farrokh to join ISIL.  Elhassan’s aiding and abetting included introducing Farrokh to an individual that Elhassan believed could facilitate Farrokh’s travel to the Islamic State; driving Farrokh from Farrokh’s home to Richmond in Elhassan’s taxi cab so that Farrokh could embark on his travel to join ISIL; and making false statements to the FBI about Farrokh’s travel in order to hinder the government’s investigation of Farrokh’s travel. According to the indictment, Elhassan knowingly, unlawfully, and willfully made material false, fictitious, and fraudulent statements and representations in a matter involving international terrorism, including: On Jan. 15, 2016, Elhassan falsely stated to FBI agents that Farrokh had flown out of Dulles Airport earlier that day on a flight to California to attend a funeral; that Farrokh had said that he would be back in about two weeks; that neither he nor Farrokh supported the ISIL; and neither he nor Farrokh ever tried to find someone to help them get to ISIL.

Sudan is a northeastern African nation that is run by a legal system operating based on Sharia law, something that has been a source of controversy for the nation as it has handed out death sentences to those who engage in “apostasy.”

“Twenty-five Muslim men, including three teenagers, are facing the death penalty in Sudan after being charged with apostasy for following the wrong version of Islam,” TheGuardian reported last December.

That is where Elhassan came from, before the U.S. government allowed him into America.

6.) Iraqi in Texas Sentenced to Four Years in U.S. Prison on Terror Charges

Bilal Abood, a 38-year-old Iraqi man who lives in Mesquite, Texas, was sentenced to 48 months in prison on May 25 for lying to the Feds about terrorism.

In this case, the Justice Department notes right up front that he was born in Iraq—but is now a U.S. citizen. Abood had traveled to Syria from Texas—and then back—and had pledged allegiance to Abu Bakr Al-Badhdadi, the leader of the Islamic State.

“Abood admitted that on March 29, 2013, he attempted to depart the United States at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, but was not allowed to board the international flight,” the Justice Department press release said. It continued:

While at the airport, FBI special agents asked Abood about his planned travel and he stated he was merely planning to travel to Iraq to visit family. During a subsequent interview, Abood admitted to FBI special agents that his intent was to travel to Syria to fight the regime of Bashar al-Assad. On approximately April 29, 2013, Abood left the United States through Mexico and traveled through various countries into Syria. On Sept. 16, 2013, Abood returned to the United States and admitted to FBI special agents that he had traveled to Syria, but he denied supporting any terrorist groups. A search warrant was executed on Abood’s computer on July 9, 2014. A review of that computer revealed that on approximately June 19, 2014, Abood stated, while using his Twitter handle @ibnalislaam, “I pledge obedience to the Caliphate Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.” Abood admitted that he knew that al-Baghdadi is the self-proclaimed leader of ISIL and was designated as a specially designated global terrorist on Oct. 4, 2011, and remains so to date. Abood also admitted that on April 14, 2015, FBI special agents advised him that lying to a federal agent is a crime. He further admitted that on that date, he falsely told FBI special agents that he had never pledged allegiance to al-Baghdadi and that he was aware that the agents were investigating a matter that they suspected could involve international terrorism.

What the Justice Department doesn’t say in this release, or a prior one, is how this Iraqi man got into the United States—and obtained U.S. citizenship—in the first place.

For that, we turn to The Dallas Morning News, which details how Abood helped U.S. armed forces in Iraq as a translator during the Iraq war—and then took advantage of a special program for such translators.

“Abood, a translator for American forces during the Iraq War, left Iraq in 2009 to take advantage of a rare opportunity for U.S. Army interpreters to become American citizens,” The Dallas Morning News’ Kevin Krause wrote on May 25, 2016, continuing:

Abood, who speaks Arabic, said during testimony Wednesday that he was offered the interpreter job after warning U.S. troops that large weapons caches were being kept inside Iraqi schools. He said he also worked as a U.S. military contractor on civil affairs projects, such as building schools and roads. He joined the Army in 2010 and went through basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C. Abood said he trained U.S. troops on how to deal with Iraqi culture and customs. He said he left the Army because it wouldn’t allow him to return to Iraq to see his sick mother. Abood said he settled in an apartment in Mesquite around 2010 where he lived with his common law wife and worked two jobs — one for UPS and the other as a security guard. He said he saved enough money to buy his mother a house in Iraq.

Is New York bombing suspect Ahmad Khan Rahami a refugee?

I don’t know. Maybe someone has already dug out the immigration information for Ahmad Khan Rahami (and I will be pleasantly surprised).

But, I woke up this morning and figured you would be wondering so I needed to at least address the fact that I don’t know, and am not going to spend a lot of time trying to figure out which of many LEGAL programs his family might have used.

UPDATE: Here is a report that says he came as a child in a family that sought asylum here, so that makes him a refugee. The asylum process is the other half of the Refugee Admissions Program and the difference is that in the case of asylum, the migrant gets in here on his or her own steam, usually illegally, and then applies for asylum.  Clearly, if he is now a citizen, his father/family were approved political refugees. The other type of refugee we usually write about is chosen abroad and flown here.

It is not as simple to figure out how Afghans got here as it is with the Somalis.  The Somalis we know are probably 95% (higher maybe) refugees admitted through the UN/US Refugee Admissions Program, but Afghans have gotten in here over decades through many legal and illegal avenues.

People who have never paid attention before are starting to ask—how the h*** are we getting so many Muslims admitted to the US?

Back to Rahami:

CNN has a rather lengthy discussion about his activities as an adult, see here, this morning. And, I did see in one report yesterday that he really hates gays!  But, like with so many other Islamic terrorists, the federal government is going to hold tightly any information on the immigration history of the terrorist’s family.

I do know that Elizabeth, NJ (Rahami’s home town) is one of three major resettlement sites in New Jersey and it is the International Rescue Committee that is placing more Muslims there. (The IRC is the same federal contractor operating in Missoula, MT now.)

Enterprising reporters might call the IRC in Elizabeth and ask if the Rahami’s are one of their families.

Or, maybe Senator Sessions could wring it out of the USCIS for his hearing tomorrow.

I did find this interesting article on how Afghans can get to the US.  It’s a how-to guide in English.  The article mentions using the Diversity Visa Lottery:

The easiest way is to enter the Diversity Immigrant Lottery. Each year approximately 50,000 green cards are issued to foreigners chosen randomly from a computer program.

If more Americans understood how that works there would be as much outrage as there is now about refugees. But, I’m not going there now because I have many more interesting things I want to post today.

So, as soon as someone finds out how this particular terrorist’s family got here, let me know and I’ll post it (it could years from now before we find out!).

Tolerance is the last virtue of a dying society

I have written that when tolerance becomes a one-way street it leads to cultural suicide. Aristotle said two millennia ago, “Tolerance is the last virtue of a dying society.”

In Sarasota, Florida there is an organization headed by Dennis McGillicuddy called Embracing our Differences. Their mission is, “Through the transformative power of the Arts, we educate and inspire to create a better world. We envision a world that embraces diversity, respects differences and actively rejects hatred and prejudice.”

Labels such as bigot, racist, Homophobic, Islamophobic, Alt-Right, irredeemables, Xenophobic and deplorables are the weapons used by those who are intolerant of others. They are the same weapons used by the Embracing our Differences supporters to silence dissent. Embracing our Differences is dedicated to teaching children to be intolerant of those who have values, morals and speak truth to power.

Embracing our Differences is political correctness on steroids.

Paul Joseph Goebbels Reich Minister of Propaganda in Nazi Germany said it is, “[V]itally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Embracing our Differences is dedicated to suppressing the truth and telling the big lie – that we should be intolerant of those who we disagree with.

In the column Florida High School promotes Godlessness in the name of ‘Diversity’ I noted:

Under the Riverview High School IB program is a category titled “Service Organizations.” One of these organizations is the Coexistence Club.

According to EmbracingOurDifferences.org:

The Embracing Our Differences partnership with Riverview High School’s International Baccalaureate (IB) Program continues to be the jewel in our crown.

Under our Docent Program, IB students and members of the Coexistence Club serve as docents and mentors to other students participating in our education program. Our student docents work in the parks daily leading groups and inspiring youngsters to recognize the messages delivered through the art and quotes. With their guided questions and planted seeds of inquiry, our young visitors are led to make realizations of their own about diversity and acceptance of others, including those different from themselves. [Emphasis added]

What are the ” inspiring messages” being planted like seeds into the minds of youngsters at Riverview High School (RHS) and the Sarasota community by the organization Embracing our Differences? Here’s a short list of statements found on an Embracing our Differences banner “Don’t Judge a Book by It’s Cover” at RHS:

  • Divorce was the best thing for my son
  • I have two mommies.
  • I am not the 99% and it makes me feel guilty.
  • My brother is now my sister and I still love her.
  • People say I am skinny but I hate my body.
  • Sober 3 years, two months and 3 days.
  • Born this way (with gay flags).
  • I Love My Bubber with Star of David (a bubber is a wino or junkie)
  • I am not sure who God is or if there even is a God.
  • Being Muslim in America is hard.
  • Human – everything else is irrelevant.
  • Every tattoo has a deep personal meaning.
  • My tribe was the original homeland security.
  • My piercings make me pretty.

This is a short list of the big lies. Embracing diversity is code for an anything goes mentality when it comes to family, marriage, sexual behavior, tattoos, body piercing, science, politics and God.

As Ronald Reagan said,

“Without God there is no virtue because there is no prompting of the conscience…without God there is a coarsening of the society; without God democracy will not and cannot long endure… If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a Nation gone under… Government should uphold–and not undermine–those institutions which are custodians of the very values upon which civilization is founded: religion, education and, above all, family.”

Perhaps the “jeweled crown” of diversity needs to be replaced with one made from the vines of a thorn bush and placed upon the head of a Nazarene who was crucified by a people who embraced many of the ideals displayed on this banner.

You see, there is one book you can judge by its cover – The Holy Bible – for it is the book of life and living. Its lessons are a must for anyone’s Life Library.
