American Jewish Committee Criticizes Sanders’ Comparison of Baltimore to West Bank

NEW YORK, NY /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The American Jewish Committee (AJC) criticized Senator Bernie Sanders for comparing socio-economic conditions in Baltimore to Palestinian communities in the West Bank.

“What do the serious issues Baltimore’s leadership and population are confronting have to do with daily Palestinian life in the West Bank?” stated AJC CEO David Harris.

“Inserting the Israeli-Palestinian conflict into unrelated American political discourse serves only one purpose, to encourage those who are narrowly focused on assailing Israel for any shortcomings, failings by the Palestinian Authority,” Harris said.

“Furthermore, according to CIA statistics, infant mortality in the West Bank, at 13.08 deaths per 1,000 live births, actually compares favorably to most of the developing world,” said Harris. “Turkey’s rate is 18.87, Brazil’s is 18.60, and Iran’s is 38.04. The U.S. infant mortality rate, at 5.87, is far from where it should be, behind the United Kingdom, at 4.38, Australia at 4.37, France at 3.28, and Israel at 3.55.”

Sanders made his remarks during an address in Maryland ahead of Tuesday’s primary election. “People don’t know this. If you are born in Baltimore’s poorest neighborhoods, your life expectancy is almost twenty years shorter than if you are born in a wealthier neighborhood,” said Sanders, adding that “two [neighborhoods] have a higher infant mortality rate than the West Bank in Palestine.”

In addition, Harris continued, “life expectancy in the West Bank, according to the CIA World Factbook, exceeds that of Egypt and Jordan, not to mention many other countries.”

I was given an advance showing of the film, and while at first, I thought perhaps the film was maybe a bit too corny, especially when Morano recreates the famous elevator/lift scene from Al Gore’s long debunked movie, An Inconvenient Truth, and does a terrible job of play acting. I thought then that maybe it just wasn’t going to be a credible response.

But then I realized, the film isn’t intended to strike a serious tone all the time, because in reality, who wants to go to the movies for a snoozer of a documentary? This is why some of the other film efforts by greens and green filmmakers fail. For example: Leonardo DiCaprio’s climate movie, The 11th hour, or Greedy Lying Bastards, where the “filmmakers examine how and why oil companies and other special-interest groups cast doubt on climate change and stall efforts to combat it” according to it’s description. It cost 1.5 million to make, and returned just a fraction of that in ticket sales, earning only $45,000. No, Climate Hustle isn’t like those, and despite the claims of millions of dollars from oil companies we are all supposed to be getting, it’s production values gives away that it was made on a shoestring, and has none of the glitzy production values of these other films that bombed.

Yesterday Marc Morano appeared on Fox & Friends to unveil the animal that has served as a mascot for both a warming and cooling globe.  Can you guess which animal it is? No it isn’t a polar bear, and it will make you laugh, and that’s the purpose of this film, to make people laugh at the ridiculous claims that have been created about global warming/climate change. Morano does this, and does it well. That’s the power behind this film.

Big corporations have come out to criticize state religious liberty measures in Georgia, Mississippi, and North Carolina as discriminating against those who aren’t heterosexual, some going as far as to propose boycotting states that enact such laws.

“ISIS suspect reveals plans to open up route from Syria to U.S. through Mexico,” Fox News Latino, April 22, 2016:

One of the American men accused in Minnesota of trying to join the Islamic State group wanted to open up routes from Syria to the U.S. through Mexico, prosecutors said.

Guled Ali Omar told the ISIS members about the route so that it could be used to send members to America to carry out terrorist attacks, prosecutors alleged in a document filed this week.

The document, filed Wednesday, is one of many filed in recent weeks as prosecutors and defense attorneys argue about which evidence should be allowed at the men’s trial, which starts May 9.

The men — Omar, 21; Hamza Naj Ahmed, 21; Mohamed Abdihamid Farah, 22; and Abdirahman Yasin Daud, 22 — have pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including conspiracy to commit murder outside the U.S. Prosecutors have said they were part of a group of friends in Minnesota’s Somali community who held secret meetings and plotted to join the Islamic State group.

Five other men have pleaded guilty to one count each of conspiracy to support a foreign terrorist organization. A tenth man charged in the case is at-large, believed to be in Syria.

The government’s document was filed in response to a defense request that prosecutors be barred from introducing evidence about possible attacks in the U.S.

Last week, Daud’s attorney wrote that, absent any specific evidence that his client threatened the United States, any references to discussions about attacks would be prejudicial. To permit such references, as well as references to the Sept. 11 attacks or exhibits that show violent images of war crimes, “would cause the jurors to decide out of fear and contempt alone,” defense attorney Bruce Nestor wrote.

But prosecutors said audio recordings obtained during the investigation show the defendants spoke multiple times about the possibility of attacks in the U.S. Among them, Omar spoke of establishing a route for fighters, Farah spoke of killing an FBI agent and another man who pleaded guilty talked about shooting a homemade rocket at an airplane….

This story should make your blood boil.  We are lectured that we should “welcome” refugees to our towns and cities and then those doing all the yammering leave families like this one high and dry, living in a series of motels and expecting their teenage children to morph into successful assimilated American citizens (yeah right!).

Read this story, read the whole thing from the Boston Globe on Friday (hat tip: Diane).  And, don’t get mad at the refugees, get mad at your Senators and Members of Congress, get mad at the UN, get mad at the U.S. State Department and get especially mad at the International Institute of New England which brings them in and drops them off!

Do not read this as a plea for more taxpayer funding, but as a plea for a reduction in the number of refugees we admit.  If we can’t take care of them, then don’t bring them.

And, for those of you contemplating ‘welcoming’ refugees to your town for the first time, you will be paying for it.  This article highlights the fact that local and state taxpayer dollars are involved; and, that many of these traumatized families require expensive mental health treatment.

It also points out that your local refugee resettlement contractor simply washes its hands of troubled families and moves on to the next paying ‘clients’ the State Department sends them!

I told you yesterday, that the U.S. State Department is accepting testimony (by May 19th) about the size and scope of the Refugee Admissions Program for FY2017 (Obama has already signaled it will recommend bringing in 100,000 for that year). Someone should write up this story from Massachusetts as an important point in your testimony.

Boston Globe (this is just a bit of the story about the contractor):

Refugee families depend on the federal government to help once they arrive. To assist them, the State Department contracts with nonprofits to help families find an apartment, sign up for health care, enroll in ESL classes, obtain food stamps, and look for employment opportunities. But the organizations are only required to provide guidance for three months, and refugees who need more help must turn to state programs and case managers for other benefits such as welfare.

Samantha Kaufman, a spokeswoman for the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development, declined to comment on the Rubayes’ plight. “We can’t release any personal information about individuals and families,” she wrote in an e-mail.

Dr. Richard Mollica, director of the Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma, called for increased refugee benefits from the government.

“If you have a medical problem or a mental health problem or you’re a survivor of torture, the probability that you’re going to make it to independent living after eight or nine months is probably nil,” Mollica said.

Currently, the biggest allotment of financial aid for refugees is a one-time federal payment of $2,025 for each family member. Some families pool those funds for rent and clothing, but at least $900 of each allowance goes to pay administrative costs to such resettlement agencies as the International Institute of New England, which was assigned to the family originally for three months, according to Rubaye. The International Institute did not respond to queries about resettling refugees. [No surprise!—ed]

Way back in 2008, a wise Iraqi refugee boy penned a letter to the editor in which he said this about the large number of Iraqis entering the US as refugees:

It is better to have 10 Iraqi refugees who are satisfied with their lives than having 100 angry ones with no life at all.

But, the truth is that resettlement contractors can’t keep their doors open if they slow the flow as each refugee brings money (your taxpayer dollars) per head they resettle.  The whole resettlement model is (wrongly, I believe) built on increasing the numbers we admit! It is not about assuring assimilation and success!

Wake Up Church, You Are At War

God neither slumbers nor sleeps, but the established Christian church seems all but comatose when faced with the increasing Islamic movement throughout our country.

I was brought up in a Christian home, and am old enough to have been in a school system that still taught the actual history of our country. The truth of faith and freedom being essential elements of America was infused into my brain as far back as my memory will take me, and I am incredibly thankful for my heritage.

However, the Christian church of today, with the exception of a small minority, seems to be heavily sedated when it comes to understanding the threats to our country. Threats that aren’t only aimed at political affairs, but at the very God-given freedoms that provide the church with the platform to speak and worship.

Over the previous six to seven years of learning about the Islamic movement within our country and globally I noticed more and more of a disconnect from the reality of what was occurring, in comparison to what was being addressed from the pulpit.

Following Islamic attacks on our soil, be it in: Boston, Massachusetts, San Bernardino, California, Chattanooga, Tennessee, or Garland, Texas,(just to name a few), there seemed to be no mention of the reasons for the terrorism. In other words, the pastors would call for prayer for the victims occasionally, but no mention of the evil involved in who perpetrated it. This was also the case after the recent Paris and Belgian Islamic jihadi attacks.

The church, in my view, is politically correct in dealing with Islamic terrorism. Either they are afraid to mention the growing threat from another protected religion, or they don’t understand enough about Islam to condemn it from the pulpit.

I once asked a pastor of a large church in Georgia what he knew about the Islamic movement. His answer,

“I know enough, that I don’t want to know about it.”

I can possibly understand the ignorance of Islam by many pastors 15 years ago, but none of them should get a free pass now. It is evident, by the very words of Imams the world over, that we are at war, a Holy War. The list is long of Islamic leaders calling for all-out war on the non-Muslim or Kafir.

The Daily Caller reported about Egyptian-American Shaker Elsayed, Imam of the dar al-hijrah mosque, who spoke at a high school in Alexandria, Virginia several years ago. He stated,

“The enemies of Allah are lining up. The question for us is, are we lining [up] or are we afraid because they may call us terrorists?”

He continued,

“Let me give you the good news: they are already calling us terrorists anyway. Whether you sitting at home, watching TV, drinking coffee, sleeping or playing with your kids, you are a terrorist because you are a Muslim. Well, give them a run for their money. Make it worth it. Make this title worth it, and be a good Muslim,”

If Islamic leaders are publicly calling for war, why do most of our pastors continually avoid the fact, and not address it? They fail to equip their congregations to deal with an enemy that is now within the gates. And this time, the battle it is not just in defending their faith through debate against their atheist high school science teacher or co-worker, instead it will be a jihadist coming through a school, mall, or movie theater shooting anyone who doesn’t submit to Allah, or doesn’t claim to be Muslim.

This is not alarmist, but simply stating what has already happened in recent months and years. Al Shabab, for example, slaughtered any who didn’t claim to be Muslim or who couldn’t repeat the Shahada (Muslim conversion prayer) in the Kenyan Garissa University attack just a year ago.

An AP Star article states this about Collins Wetangula, vice chairman of the student union.

“He heard the attackers arrive at his dormitory, open the doors and ask if the people who had hidden inside were Muslims or Christians. ‘If you were a Christian, you were shot on the spot…With each blast of the gun, I thought I was going to die.’”

America is now operating in a virtual open-borders atmosphere, while the present administration is seeing to it that our country is inundated with as many Muslims we can acquire from warring Islamic countries in the Middle East and Africa. Have the pastors considered how much longer they will be able to enjoy their “interfaith” dialogues with the peaceful Muslims once their numbers take a dramatic uptick?

The church needs to start teaching Christians to be prepared to physically defend their families as well as other innocent citizens who will undoubtedly be affected by the changes that will occur due to an increasing number of Sharia compliant Muslims hell-bent on jihad.

As a matter of fact, Islam has never left the call to jihad. For 1400 years they have been battling for world-wide Muslim domination. Some here in the West may think that sounds far-fetched, but it is the common ideology taught throughout the religion of peace.

Christians ceased fighting the Crusades in 1250 AD, but Muslims have never stopped. Dr. Bill Warner, a physicist who founded The Center for the Study of Political Islam, constructed an incredible Dynamic Battle Map of the Crusades which is eye-opening.

He states,

“…it was Islam that came out of Arabia and conquered the Middle East, a Christian Middle East. And so the crusaders were trying to free their Christian brothers and sisters from jihad. The motivation of the crusaders was to free Christians; the purpose of jihad is to enslave the Kafir.”

There are over 2,000 mosques in America today, the majority of whom teach jihad and war against the non-Muslim. Former Iraqi parliamentary member and Shiite cleric, Ayad Jamal al-Din, says this in a Memri video,

“there are thousands of Mosques in America preparing people to join Islamic State.”

The jihad never stopped for Muslims, but the majority of Christian churches won’t acknowledge it or lead their congregations to stand up against an obvious evil. Pastor Greg Locke, from Mt. Juliet, Tennessee understands this and is doing a tremendous job as he addresses openly, the reality of what we face as a nation founded on Judeo/Christian principles, whose safety and security are being threatened. Hopefully many will see his fearless example and become leaders as well.

The question remains, will the Christian church wake up and fight Islam or bow in submission. We wouldn’t be here today had the crusaders failed to stand for their faith over a thousand years ago.

Now from the Daily Mail yesterday.  It answers our primary question—weren’t there any Christians and other religious minorities to choose from?

And, this bureaucratic (red tape!) excuse for passing up this brother and sister is ridiculous.

A Christian brother and sister from Syria say they have been ‘let down’ by the Pope after he left them behind in a Lesbos refugee camp despite promises they would be given a new life in Italy.

Roula and Malek Abo say they were two of the lucky ‘chosen 12’ refugees selected by the Vatican to be taken from the desperate camp and housed in Rome.

But what seemed like the chance of a lifetime was cruelly snatched away when they were told the following day they couldn’t go. Instead three Muslim families were taken.

Neither Community Sant’Egidio, the charity which organised the trip, or the Vatican would explain the selection process over which migrants were picked.

Spokesman Massimiliano Signifredi called the incident ‘regrettable’ – adding: ‘The problem here is the three Syrians arrived after the March 20 deadline. They arrived just after the agreement between the European Union and Turkey.

Mr Signifredi said: ‘Our staff went to Lesbos and spoke with the people who were selected. But everything was decided by the Vatican.

‘The question why the Pope took only Muslims is difficult to understand and he was suffering, I think, because he wanted to do something also for Christians as the chief of the Catholic Church. But he couldn’t because there is this international agreement [with the EU].’

American Family Association calls for a boycott of Target

afa logoThe American Family Association is calling for a boycott of Target after the retail giant said it would allow men to use the women’s restrooms and dressing rooms in their stores.

On its web site this week, Target announced, “[W]e welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity. …Everyone deserves to feel like they belong.”

This means a man can simply say he “feels like a woman today” and enter the women’s restroom…even if young girls or women are already in there.

Target’s policy is exactly how sexual predators get access to their victims. And with Target publicly boasting that men can enter women’s bathrooms, where do you think predators are going to go?

Clearly, Target’s dangerous new policy poses a danger to wives and daughters. We think many customers will agree. And we think the average Target customer is willing to pledge to boycott Target stores until it makes protecting women and children a priority.

One solution is a common-sense approach and a reasonable solution to the issue of transgendered customers: a unisex bathroom. Target should keep separate facilities for men and women, but for the trans community and for those who simply like using the bathroom alone, a single occupancy unisex bathroom option should be provided.

By his own adult admission, little baby Teddy Cruz came into the world a natural-born Canadian.

As every American school child knows, the Constitution’s Article II, Section 1 requires an age exam and two soil tests for the presidency. First a candidate must be 35 years old.  A candidate must have been a 14- year resident on the American soil and he must first have been born on that same, sacred American soil. The two soil tests insure the Commander-in-Chief will have exclusive allegiance to America.

Cruz was a loyal-Canadian-citizen until May 2014.

VICTOR WILLIAMS’ OPEN LETTER: Pennsylvania, Maryland, and the RNC

If Cruz is nominated, Democrats, like Alan Grayson, have pledged to immediately sue.  Scores of millions of dollars will be thrown into multiple litigation efforts to disqualify Cruz.

Williams’ Open Letter tells Pennsylvania’s unbound 54 Delegates (not to be pledged on April 26) that a vote for Cruz in July is a vote for Hillary Clinton in November.

Williams’ Open Letter also asks all unpledged RNC member-delegates — returning from their Florida Spring Meeting  — to face reality:  The Clinton war-machine will destroy Ted Cruz on the eligibility issue.

Islamic group Abu Sayyaf Plans Beheading of Twenty-Two Hostages on April 25th

Not much attention has been paid to Abu Sayyaf’s identification with Islamic State. AAs maritime kidnappings escalate around the Philippine’s southern islands, the oldest group of hostages (2 Canadians, 1 Norwegian and 1 Filipina) face a looming deadline of execution at 3:00 pm on 25 April 2016.  Factions of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) have captured a growing number of hostages in recent weeks (April 2016) and have issued various execution deadlines and ransom demands. Pressure to pay ransom increased this week when a private company agreed to pay over $1 million for their 10 crew members who were taken hostage on 01 April 2016 and when the brother of victim, Bernard Then began a petition to negotiate the release of other hostages.   The pressure boiled over after the 21 April 2016 photo release of two beheadings by the Maute wing of ASG.

4 DIFFERENT SETS OF ABDUCTIONS

As of 13 April 2016, officials in the Philippines acknowledged at least 18 foreigners were ASG hostages. However, TRAC’s count is higher: there are at least 22 hostages held from four different sets of abductions.

Earth Day Fact: Marijuana harms the earth

Today is Earth Day. As we celebrate our planet and all its wonders, we should also consider the effects of trending marijuana policies. As more states push towards a commercialized market for marijuana, cultivation and production of marijuana is increasing to meet the needs of the masses. Let’s look at what that means.

According to Josh Harkinson, Brett Brownell, and Julia Lurie from Mother Jones:

You thought your pot came from environmentally conscious hippies? Think again. The way marijuana is grown in America, it turns out, is anything but sustainable and organic. Check out these mind-blowing stats, and while you’re at it, read Josh Harkinson’s feature story, “The Landscape-Scarring, Energy-Sucking, Wildlife-Killing Reality of Pot Farming.”

Beau Kilmer of the RAND Drug Policy Research Center argues that the government estimates of domestic marijuana production used in this piece and many others are in fact too high. Kilmer’s research, published last week, suggests that total US marijuana consumption in 2010 (including pot from Mexico) was somewhere between 9.2 and 18.5 million pounds.

Using the RAND numbers, U.S. pot consumption causes between 42.3 and 85.1 billion pounds of CO2 to be released in the air annually.

Did you also know…

  • Research estimates indoor marijuana production accounts for about 1% of our national electricity use, equal to $6 billion each year. That is enough to power 1.7 million homes!
  • Each pound of marijuana produced is associated with 4600 kg of carbon dioxide emitted into the atmosphere. That’s equal to emissions of 3 million average U.S. cars!
  • Outdoor marijuana grows in California use approximately 60 million gallons of water each day. That’s 50% more than what is used by all of the residents of San Francisco!
  • At 329 outdoors grows in California, authorities seized 17,000 pounds of fertilizers and 40 gallons of pesticides. They also hauled away 119,000 pounds of trash!
  • Bottom line, Marijuana is not Earth Friendly!

Commentary on the Saudi Situation

Since 9/11, the terms of our relationship with Saudi Arabia have been defined by the Saudis, not by the U.S.

To gain their support in the ‘War on Terror,’ one of the first post-9/11 compromises America made with the Saudis was to redact the 28 pages in the 9/11 Commission Report, thus shielding and/or exonerating them from any involvement or responsibility.

A second compromise we made with our Wahabbi partners in peace was to ignore their decades-long role in the funding and support of thousands of pro-Jihad Madrassas throughout the Eastern Hemisphere.

Nor should we overlook Saudi Arabia’s ongoing support of Hamas, a Muslim Brotherhood family member and Globally Designated Foreign Terrorist Organization since 1997. On July 16, 2015, King Salman of Saudi Arabia met with top Hamas leaders, including Qatar resident and political leader Khaled Meshal, thus publicly revealing his willingness to work with known Islamist terrorist organizations.

According to the Saudi royal family, the meeting reflected King Salman’s determination to rally the Arab world against Iran, as Iran becomes empowered by its “deal with Western powers to lift economic sanctions in exchange for limits on its nuclear program.”

So, as a consequence of the Iran Deal, we are now seeing a revived Saudi-Sunni-Hamas alliance

The one-sided quid pro quo arrangement between America and Saudi Arabia is remarkably similar to the ‘gentlemen’s agreement’ between Turkey and Europe (and the West), to overlook the Armenian Genocide, for the sake of peace, and political and economic stability.

In fact, President Obama reinforced this point on April 19, 2016, when he stated: “A country with a modern and large economy like Saudi Arabia would not benefit from a destabilized global financial market, and neither would the United States.”

To reiterate this response, Josh Earnest, Assistant to the President and Press Secretary in the White House Office of Communications, stressed that the administration’s concerns about the pending Congressional legislation (allowing U.S. citizens to sue the Saudi government for their possible part in 9/11), were not just about Saudi Arabia.

On April 15, 2016 (‘Tax Day’), he said “The concern that we have is simply this: It could put the United States and our taxpayers and our service members and our diplomats at significant risk if other countries were to adopt a similar law,” he said.

More ominously, Mr. Earnest asserted that “The whole notion of sovereign immunity is at stake.” If we pause and explore what this revealing statement actually means, we might easily come to the conclusion that no country on earth will ever be held accountable for supporting terrorist attacks and/or regional wars, simply because one country’s terrorist is another country’s freedom fighter.

Ironically, the first reaction by the Saudis to the pending legislation and simultaneous possible release of the redacted 28 pages was to threaten the U.S. with an economic assault.

Adel al-Jubeir, the Saudi foreign minister, personally informed Washington in March 2016 that “Saudi Arabia would be forced to sell up to $750 billion in treasury securities and other assets in the United States before they could be in danger of being frozen by American courts.”

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, the administration has been aggressively lobbying against the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) bill, which is sponsored by a bipartisan group of 16 US senators who are attempting to curtail the ability of countries to invoke sovereign immunity in lawsuits accusing them of supporting terrorism.

Specifically, this effort is move designed to clear the way for U.S. citizens seek legal remedy for  Saudi Arabia’s alleged complicity in the 9/11 terror attacks.

As cited here, on Thursday, April 14, 2016, Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) and Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) reintroduced JASTA, which is the third time the bill has been submitted since 2011. The Senate passed it last December, but it stalled in the House.

There is hope that the time has finally come for Congress to approve it. The latest version is co-sponsored by 14 other senators, including Al Franken (D-MN), Diane Feinstein (D-CA), Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Jeff Flake (R-AZ).

Finally, the families of 9/11 victims remain infuriated by the Obama administration, which has consistently sided with the kingdom and thwarted efforts to discover the truth about the role Saudi officials may have played in the attacks 15 years ago.

“It’s stunning to think that our government would back the Saudis over its own citizens,” said Mindy Kleinberg, whose husband died in the World Trade Center, and who is part of a group of victims’ family members pushing for the legislation.

At least 14 members of the House also agree with Ms. Kleinberg. On January 13, 2016, they introduced House Resolution 588, entitled Condemning and Censuring President Barack Obama, which “Censures and condemns President Barack Obama for having willfully disregarded the President’s constitutional responsibilities as Commander in Chief of the United States through his continued failed lack of foreign affairs strategy, failure to follow the advice of military and intelligence advisors, and failed national security policy.”

To conclude, President Obama landed in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, April 20, in the midst of a swirling storm of controversy and confusing, contradictory policies and allegiances. The world will be watching, and many questions will need to be answered.

First, the Saudis will want to know: Is Obama a friend of the Sunni world, or of the Shia world? “It is a concerning factor for us if America pulls back,” said Prince Turki al-Faisal, an outspoken member of the Saudi royal family, a former head of intelligence and a former ambassador to the United States. “America has changed, we have changed and definitely we need to realign and readjust our understandings of each other.”

Second, Americans will want to know: Will he put the interests of American citizens first, who deserve to know the truth about any possible Saudi involvement (enablement) in 9/11, or will he compromise for the sake of ‘peace and stability’?

And, third, analysts and members of Congress will want to know: What price will President Obama agree to pay Saudi Arabia for their help in the war against ISIS, and/or to continue harboring former Guantanamo Bay detainees?

We should all carefully note the statements Obama makes in Saudi Arabia, and the outcome(s) of the decisions he will have to make.

Will he call Saudi Arabia’s bluff (about economic consequences), or will he continue appeasing the Guardian Of The Holy Places; Islam and Muslims?

The next three days will have a major effect on the course our two countries will take (along with the rest of the world) in the weeks, months and years ahead.

Florida Resident sues the Republican Establishment to Validate Sunshine State’s Primary Vote

WASHINGTON, D.C. /PRNewswire/ — Florida resident Larry Klayman, a former U.S. Justice Department prosecutor who is the founder of Freedom Watch, has sued the Republican establishment, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, the Republican National Committee, the Republican Party of Florida and party and election officers including the Florida Secretary of State for conspiring to defraud Florida Republican voters of their vote in the Florida Republican Primary previously held on March 15, 2016.

While the winner of that vote was presidential candidate Donald Trump, as alleged in the complaint it was not filed to support Donald Trump or any other candidacy. Rather, the complaint, which asked for declaratory relief prior to the Republican National Convention in July 2016, is intended to validate the vote of Republican voters and not allow the Republican establishment to pervert the nomination process by not having their vote count.

It has been widely reported and in fact admitted by the Defendants and others that the Republican elites want to take away the right of the people to decide who should be the Republican Party nominee and insert one of their own establishment hacks, someone like widely-discredited Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, who just caved into President Obama during the budget process.

Klayman states:

It has even been reported by The Washington Post that the Republican establishment is busy attempting to in effect bribe delegates so they can nominate one of their own like Ryan or someone else who will further their power and money gravy train in Washington, D.C. This complaint, the first of its kind, will set a precedent for Republican voters in other states to take similar actions to preserve the sanctity of their primary vote.

While I am a Florida citizen and voted in the Florida Republican Primary, the complaint and the predicted declaratory judgment in my favor and for all Florida Republican voters will set a precedent nationwide.

We cannot allow Republican establishment party hacks to take away our constitutional right.
