The Media’s Favorite January 6th Conspiracy Theory Just Fell Apart

The FBI found little proof that the Jan. 6 Capitol riot was caused by a coordinated plan to upend the presidential election, four current and former law enforcement officials told Reuters.

The FBI does not believe that a “centr[al] coordinat[ion]” between far-right groups or supporters of then-President Donald Trump preempted the riot, according to Reuters. The sources either were directly involved in or routinely briefed on the investigations, Reuters said. 

However, the media had a different narrative after the Capitol riot occurred.

“A violent mob … stormed the U.S. Capitol … in a stunning attempt to overturn America’s presidential election,” an Associated Press (AP) article from January said. AP further wrote that the “events were particularly astounding … because of the underlying goal of overturning the results of a free and fair presidential election.” AP followed up with reporting that stated it was an organized plot. In March, a headline read, “US narrows in on organized extremists in Capitol siege probe.”

NBC wrote an article detailing how social media posts it found raised “questions” about the FBI’s position; at the time, the FBI had not yet determined “whether anyone planned the [Capitol] attack in advance.”

A Washington Post article from January claimed that an “FBI probe,” which included social media posts, amounted to “evidence detailing coordination of an assault.”

The position of the media was also reflected by Democrats.

Democratic Rhode Island Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse said, “This information … paints a clear picture of a planned and coordinated violent attack,” according to NBC News.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said about Jan 6. that “the evidence is that it was a well-planned, organized group with leadership and guidance and direction. And the direction was to go get people.”

Maxine Watters claimed that the Trump campaign was behind the attack. She said, “Where did the money come from to send busloads of people in? Who supported them in all of this? … I am told that there was organizing taking place right in the Trump campaign.”

However, former senior law enforcement official who spoke with Reuters said that most of the rioters were lone wolves who banded together.

The official said, “90-99% of these [were] one-off cases,” according to Reuters.

“Then you have 5%, maybe, of these militia groups that were more closely organized. But there was no grand scheme with Roger Stone and Alex Jones and all of these people to storm the Capitol and take hostages,” the official continued.

Both Jones and Stone participated in pro-Trump events in Washington, D.C., that occurred before the riot.

The FBI found that there was scant evidence that the rioters who broke into the Capitol had “serious plans” of what they would do within the building, sources further told Reuters.

Prosecutors filed conspiracy charges against 40 of the defendants, including a Proud Boy leader who allegedly recruited members and encouraged them to stockpile military-style equipment leading up to the Jan. 6 riot, according to Reuters.

Conservative Media Company Is The Fastest-Growing Advertising And Marketing Business In The US, According To Inc. 5000

  • Olympic Media, a conservative digital media company, is the fastest-growing private advertising business in the U.S., according to the 2021 Inc. 5000 list.
  • “What we’re building is … a pro-America, American exceptionalism-type brand that makes no apologies for anything,” and doesn’t buy into “what we consider woke nonsense,” Olympic Media Founder and CEO Ryan Coyne told the Daily Caller News Foundation on Thursday.
  • “Are some of these districts longer fights? Absolutely. But does that mean that they should go uncontested? Absolutely not,” Coyne said.

A conservative digital media company’s focus on the culture wars in America appears to be paying off, as it is the fastest-growing private advertising and marketing business in the U.S., according to the 2021 Inc. 5000 list released Tuesday.

“We focus on working with groups that are advocating for or otherwise advancing conservative causes or conservative beliefs,” Olympic Media Founder and CEO Ryan Coyne told the Daily Caller News Foundation on Thursday.

Olympic was founded in 2018 and has had many high-profile clients, such as Reps. Elise Stefanik, Jim Jordan, and Madison Cawthorn, Sen. Bill Hagerty and Turning Point USA.

The list ranks companies by their overall revenue growth over a three-year period, according to its website. Olympic ranked 13th overall with 20,330% growth.

Coyne attributed the success to the company’s “differentiated business model.” It takes a “zero risk approach, whereby we only are able to be successful financially if our clients are successful financially.”

He also praised the team they had put together, saying they are “extraordinarily dedicated to our clients and the causes they represent.”

“What we’re building is … a pro-America, American exceptionalism-type brand that makes no apologies for anything,” and doesn’t give in to “what we consider woke nonsense,” he told the DCNF.

Coyne considers 2020 to be the group’s first full election cycle it participated in and noted that they were able to “bring on a number of different, fairly little known clients and turn them into pretty much household names on the conservative side of things.”

He cited Cawthorn as an example, who fittingly claimed to have built his “staff around comms rather than legislation” in an email obtained by Time in January.

Kimberly Klacik, a Republican candidate for Maryland’s 7th Congressional District in 2020, also saw her profile rise due to a viral campaign ad that Olympic promoted. She ended up losing the heavily blue district’s seat by 43 points, however.

Klacik paid about $3.7 million of the $8.3 million she raised over the course of the campaign to Olympic, The Washington Post reported, but she later wrote that much of the price tag was due to Facebook and YouTube’s “ridiculous fees to advertise.”

Coyne said anyone arguing Olympic made that level of money from the race is either “a competitor, a moron, or a writer for the Washington Post.” He’s also confident the company has the ability to make inroads in bluer areas of the country, citing the wins of Democratic Sens. Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock in Georgia as examples.

“Democrats did an enormously … successful job going down there and flipping those seats. And it’s because they invested heavily and they worked hard in what were traditionally red areas,” he said. “Are some of these districts longer fights? Absolutely. But does that mean that they should go uncontested? Absolutely not.”

Regardless of the loss, Coyne noted Klacik now has a much larger platform than she previously did. She also remains a client of Olympic, according to the company.

Looking ahead to 2022, Coyne says his company will be “taking on wokeism head-on” and “unapologetic for American greatness.” The Make America Great Again message, he said, “still resonates deeply.”

Months after the Department of Justice (DOJ) opted not to charge the unnamed U.S. Capitol Police officer who killed Ashli Babbitt on Jan. 6, a memo obtained by NBC News indicates the investigation will be fully closed.

Babbitt, a 35-year-old Air Force veteran, was shot by the “service pistol” of an officer during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. She was trying to climb through a smashed glass door near the Speaker’s lobby. After receiving assistance from a Capitol Police emergency response team, Babbitt died at Washington Hospital Center.

The memo, written by the commander of the Capitol Police’s Office of Personal Responsibility, states that “no further action will be taken in this matter,” according to NBC. The information comes on the heels of the DOJ announcing in April that it would not levy charges against the officer.

“Specifically, the investigation revealed no evidence to establish that, at the time the officer fired a single shot at Ms. Babbitt, the officer did not reasonably believe that it was necessary to do so in self-defense or in defense of the Members of Congress and others evacuating the House Chamber,” the department said in a press release at the time.

Shortly after the DOJ’s decision in April, Babbitt’s family unveiled a $10 million lawsuit against the Capitol police. The suit was filed under the Federal Tort Claims Act, which permits compensation in the case of “a personal injury or death, caused by the negligent or wrongful act or omission of a Government employee while acting within the scope of his or her office or employment, under circumstances where the United States, if a private person, would be liable in accordance with the law of the place where the act or omission occurred.”

Two weeks ago, Babbitt’s mother criticized House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and California Sen. Dianne Feinstein for never getting back to her after reaching out. Babbitt served in the Middle East from 2004 to 2016 on multiple tours.

The Capitol Police did not immediately respond to The Federalist’s request for comment.

California recall candidate Larry Elder may be black, but as far as some progressives are concerned, he’s also a “white supremacist face.”

“Larry Elder is the black face of white supremacism. You have been warned,” the Los Angeles Times Friday column called the conservative Los Angeles radio host candidacy “an insult to blackness.”

Known as the “Sage from South Central,” referring to the neighborhood of Los Angeles, the few working class he grew up in, Elder responded quickly to the headline.

“To play a race card with your South Central brothers, you have to be really scared and desperate,” Elder tweeted.

Elder leads the Republican Recall Candidates’ field to replace Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom in a special election on September 14.

Columnist Erica D. Smith wrote that blacks are “not monolithic,” but said that “elders oppose all public policy ideas that blacks support to help blacks.”

“Whenever you put a black face on white supremacy, like Larry Elder, there are people who use it as an opportunity to deny white supremacy,” Black Lives Matter Los Angeles said. Co-founder Melina Abdullah said in an article.

Elder supports policies such as increased school choices, reduced regulations to promote housing construction, and crackdowns on crime, and police are not involved in systematic racism, but with such accusations. Police officers claim to have withdrawn.

As crime increased, “it’s the very black and brown people who claim that the people on the left care about it,” he told the Los Angeles Times editorial board…

Leftists in U.S. and UK Want Reparations Paid to the Taliban

Richard Burgon, a member of the British Parliament for the far-Left Labour party and Secretary of the Socialist Campaign Group of Labour MPs, demonstrated Tuesday that the Left’s commitment to the redistribution of wealth is indefatigable: He declared that what the West really needs to do now is start forking over money to the Taliban. Burgon tweeted: “The crisis in Afghanistan is the result of 20 years of disastrous military intervention. Just as in Iraq & Libya, backing US-led invasions led to a huge loss of life. There is no military solution in Afghanistan. The focus now should be on reparations and supporting refugees.”

Yes, reparations. Paying reparations to Afghanistan would essentially mean funding the Taliban, which has a billion-dollar budget as it is and has no need of the largesse of British or American taxpayers. And Burgon is not alone. Britain’s far-Left Stop the War Coalition issued a statement Sunday demanding that the British government “take a lead in offering a refugee programme and reparations to rebuild Afghanistan, an act which would go a great deal further in advancing the rights of the Afghan people, women in particular, than continued military or economic intervention in the fate of the Afghanistan.”

The call for reparations to the Taliban has been heard on this side of the Atlantic as well. Shabana Mir, an associate professor at American Islamic College in Chicago, first implied that Afghanistan didn’t need any help from the West: “The Western savior narrative vis-a-vis Afghanistan is a framing of Afghanistan as in need of Western help, as dependent on Western help — rather than as a Western-exploited and Western-ravaged people and land.” Then, however, she added: “The U.S. owes s**tloads of reparations to Afghanistan.” The U.S. should have no say in how this money is used: “I have hopes that Afghans can build, if military contractors and the U.S. would get the hell out of the way.”

Meanwhile, far-Left Canadian “journalist” Paul Jay believes that “there must be significant reparations paid to the Afghan people to be administered by the U.N.” Another Leftist “journalist,” Spencer Ackerman, who was primarily responsible ten years ago for getting all mention of Islam and jihad removed from U.S. counterterror training, asked: “What do we owe the Afghan people? We owe them a life they can live, resettling them in the United States if they so choose, and we owe them reparations. Reparations is a charged word, and I do not use it here to suggest that reparations for the descendants of the enslaved ought to wait until we pay reparations for the War on Terror. I mean here that throughout history, the losers of wars have had to pay reparations, though typically to the regimes and not people. But it is people whom the U.S. owes, not regimes.”

Elite Taliban unit wearing US gear appears to mock iconic American WWII photo

A Taliban fighting unit called the Badri 313 Battalion was spotted patrolling Afghanistan with U.S.-made gear, and posting one photo appearing to mock the iconic World War II photo, Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima.

Propaganda videos posted this week on channels affiliated with the Taliban show soldiers in the little-known Badri 313 Battalion carrying U.S. and U.S. ally-made weapons and gear that appear to be stolen from allied militaries while patrolling parts of Kabul.

In one propaganda photo, members of the Badri 313 Battalion are seen hoisting a Taliban flag in a similar fashion to the six U.S. Marines who raised the U.S. flag on Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima in 1945….

The Badri 313 special unit differs from typical Taliban fighters as they are made to look more like U.S. soldiers, with camouflage, combat boots, and body armor. They also carry M4 carbines and drive armored Humvees, the Sinclair Broadcasting Group reported.

“With the Taliban now in power, there is every reason to believe the militia could grow in strength,” Aroor added. “Expect to see much more of the Badri 313 in the weeks and months ahead.”

President and founder of Eurasia Group, Ian Bremmer, also posted a photo of Taliban fighters “with their new American gear” on Twitter Saturday morning.

The U.S. gave Afghan forces an estimated $28 billion in weaponry between 2002 and 2017. But now, “everything that hasn’t been destroyed is the Taliban’s now,” a U.S. official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, told Reuters.

The seizure of American weaponry, such as advanced aircraft, serves as a propaganda tool, as insurgents are unable to operate the aircraft without training….

Biden’s Afghanistan Catastrophe, Immigration Malfeasance Threaten U.S. Security

Joe Biden’s abysmal failures in Afghanistan reverberate around the world, dismaying freedom loving people and causing great consternation to America’s allies, while simultaneously handing a victory to the Taliban, giving America’s adversaries around the world, including vicious terrorists, cause for celebration and encouragement.

The United States military was sent into Afghanistan immediately after the terror attacks of September 11, 2001 to hunt down those responsible for the devastating terror attacks and to deny al-Qaida and other terror organizations a safe haven and staging area from which the terrorists could launch additional terror attacks against the United States and its allies.

Ousting the Taliban from Afghanistan was a major element in what was billed as America’s “War on Terror.”

Biden’s loss of Afghanistan to the Taliban will reverberate around the world in many ways and for many years.  America’s allies have to wonder if they could possibly count on America in a crisis.  Clearly the people of Afghanistan who trusted our government have been abandoned by Biden and his administration.  Many of these hapless Afghanis can expect unrelenting, severe and violent retribution from the Taliban.

The thing about trust is that once trust is lost, it is all but impossible to restore.

However, the so-called “War on Terror” should have also focused on America’s ability to prevent terrorists from entering the United States to carry out attacks within our borders in the first place.

Nevertheless, with the exception of President Trump, both President George W. Bush and Barack Obama repeatedly made the absurd claim that “We are fighting them (the terrorists) over there so that we won’t have to fight them over here.”

That wrong-headed and bogus claim ignores the first paragraph of the preface of the official report, 9/11 and Terrorist Travel – Staff Report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States” which states:

It is perhaps obvious to state that terrorists cannot plan and carry out attacks in the United States if they are unable to enter the country. Yet prior to September 11, while there were efforts to enhance border security, no agency of the U.S. government thought of border security as a tool in the counterterrorism arsenal. Indeed, even after 19 hijackers demonstrated the relative ease of obtaining a U.S. visa and gaining admission into the United States, border security still is not considered a cornerstone of national security policy. We believe, for reasons we discuss in the following pages, that it must be made one.

In addition to ceding Afghanistan to the Taliban and their terrorists allies, Biden has, since taking office, utterly ignored the findings, recommendation and, indeed, the warnings of the 9/11 Commission concerning the clear nexus between immigration and terrorism.

The anarchy on the southern border and the policies of the Biden administration to gut the enforcement of our immigration laws from within the interior of the United States undermines national security and public safety to an unprecedented extent, as I wrote about in my recent article, Biden’s Afghanistan Catastrophe Increases Terror Threat in US. The subtitle noted:  Biden administration, meanwhile, focuses solely on “domestic extremists”.

This also prompted me to write, Biden Ends War On Radical Islamist Terrorists ‘Over Here’ and ‘Over There’.

Now the Biden administration is flying thousands of Afghani refugees to military bases around the United States.  A critical issue that must be addressed is how these refugees will be vetted to make certain that terrorists and criminals have not embedded themselves within the thousands of Afghanis who are literally running for their lives.

The background of the Director of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Alejandro Mayorkas causes me great consternation.

Mayorkas served as the Director of United States Citizenship (USCIS) and Immigration Services under the Obama administration where  he was notorious for ordering the adjudicators to “Get to yes” and approve as many applications for various immigration benefits as possible ignoring potential fraud.

The 9/11 Commission, to which I testified, identified immigration fraud as a key method of entry and embedding for terrorists.

Pursuant to complaints filed by many beleaguered employees of USCIS the Office of Inspector General (OIG) found serious wrong doing by Mr. Mayorkas.  I wrote about Mayorkas and his dubious past in my article, Biden’s DHS: Department of Homeland Surrender: Alejandro Mayorkas, architect of DACA, picked by Biden to head DHS.

As the 20 anniversary of the terror attacks of 9/11 approaches, I remind you that just 19 hijacker/terrorists killed more people than were lost to the entire Japanese fleet at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 and the death count from 9/11 continues to climb to this very day as more victims succumb to the toxins to which they were exposed when the Towers collapsed.

Hope is not a strategy and national Security and Americans’ lives must be the first priority of our government and not an afterthought.

American Express Embraces Marxism, Racial Segregation with “Action Plan”

For 50 years, Martin Luther King, Jr. set the course for how we deal with race in America. “I have a dream,” he said, “my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

His vision resonated in part because of its harmony with American values. We are “created equal.” Racial equality is fundamentally American.

Today, though, a new vision of race is making its way up the cultural totem pole. It’s called critical race theory, CRT for short, but in practice, it looks a lot like the segregation that civil rights leaders fought. CRT divides everything from group conversations to college dorms by racial, religious, and gender “identity groups.” White people with white people, black people with black people.

Make no mistake: CRT is un-American. But it’s getting the red-carpet treatment from woke corporations like American Express.

As Tyler O’Neil reported in FoxBusiness last week, American Express (1.00) invested $1 billion in an “anti-racism action plan” in 2020. Christopher Rufo, America’s foremost CRT whistleblower, detailed how the company forced its employees to attend CRT trainings that instructed “privileged” white people and Christians to defer to minorities before speaking. Some phrases, such as “I don’t see color,” were banned outright, threatening free speech.

Then, “anti-racist” speaker Khalil Muhammed showed the Marxist roots of the CRT ideology by attacking capitalism as fundamentally racist. Never mind that free-market economies have pulled billions of people out of poverty across all continents, not just Europe and North America.

But spreading a subversive ideology that segregates America along racial lines is the last straw – it’s time to cancel your American Express card! As the U.S. military and State Department rush to evacuate American citizens and Afghan allies from Kabul’s airport, Taliban checkpoints are cutting off many from freedom and safety – and reports on the ground indicate the militants are summarily executing people who helped U.S. forces over the years.

Ryan Rogers, a retired Marine sergeant, told Fox News Thursday that the interpreter he worked with during the bloody 2010 battle of Marjah in Helmand province is currently trapped in Kabul, prevented from reaching the airport as Taliban fighters seek out and murder former Afghan commandoes and interpreters.

“He told me yesterday they hung three [Afghan National Army] commanders that they had found,” he said. “And that close to the place that he’s hiding, they’re going house-to-house and that they sent a transmission out saying they had plans for the people that operated with America.”

The interpreter, who is not being identified due to concerns about his safety, was OK as of Thursday afternoon.

“I said, hey, did you see any of this stuff with your eyes? He said yes,” Rogers said. “They’re not showing this stuff because the people are cheering, but they’re scared to death, and they’re hanging these people. And he said they’re going house to house and their priorities are Afghan National Army Special Forces, the police special forces and the interpreters.”

The Biden administration on Thursday finally acknowledged reports that evacuees were having trouble reaching the international airport and Kabul, which is surrounded by Taliban checkpoints.

State Department spokesman Ned Price said during a Thursday news briefing that the government had received a “small handful of reports” of American citizens who were unable to reach the airport. But he also said that though U.S. officials were aware of reports that interpreters and former Afghan military officers were being hunted and killed by the Taliban forces, he could not confirm their veracity.

“I’m just not in a position to confirm those details,” he said. “Every time we see a detail like this, we take it extraordinarily seriously, and we do what we can.”

Over the past two weeks, as Taliban forces swept across the country, there were reports of the militants executing surrendering Afghan soldiers. And Fox News has received video showing gunmen in pickup trucks, firing bullets in the streets of Kabul.

“In a bipartisan fashion, there’s extreme disappointment, especially by those that have served,” Rep. Brad Wenstrup, an Ohio Republican and Army Reserve officer, told Fox News. “And we have lost on this our moral standing in the world, and it’s a sign of weakness rather than strength.”

Wenstrup pointed to bipartisan legislation passed months ago designed to lessen the red tape U.S. allies would need to get through to safely leave the country as the American military withdrew. But the rushed withdrawal left thousands of people stranded anyway.

“I find it hard to believe that our military and intelligence community would have recommended it this way,” he said, faulting the Biden administration’s leadership. “But those are some of the questions that we need to have answered.”

Wenstrup, who served in the Army in Iraq, said he helped more than one interpreter relocate from there. One of them, now an American citizen and physician at Ohio State, called the Afghanistan situation “disheartening,” the congressman said.

But despite the chaotic U.S. withdrawal, Wenstrup had a message for veterans of the War on Terror.

“We have not had another attack in 20 years,” he said. “We must praise all those that have sacrificed so much in the last 20 years because they did keep us safe, and they should be applauded for that.”

And so did their coalition partners.

“I hope and pray that that interpreter, we find a way to get them out,” Wenstrup said. “My experience is if we get them here, they do everything right to become good U.S. citizens.”

The Pentagon sent thousands of additional troops to the airport this week to help with the evacuations, but defense officials stopped short of saying they would leave the base to rescue Americans or Afghan allies – even as UK paratroopers have been doing so to secure their own people.

Fox News also learned from a credible source Thursday that the State Department is looking into non-military ways to stage and move Americans and others who are in Kabul, as an alternative to sending troops into the city.

But Rogers worries that his interpreter friend could have just hours left if things go south.

Rogers, who is originally from Ohio and now lives in North Carolina, was medically retired from the Marine Corps due to injuries sustained in Marjah. In April, he published a book on his experiences there – which featured the same interpreter trapped in Kabul today.

The interpreter told Rogers he tried to make it to the airport’s fortified east gate Wednesday – along with thousands of other people seeking to escape Taliban control. But he encountered Taliban checkpoints, heard gunshots and turned back.

“It was desperate,” Rogers said. “He said, ‘I have my pistol, and they’re never going to take me. There’s no way it can end like this. It can only end one way — glory be to God.’ I mean, he was scared.”

In response to President Biden’s claim in an ABC News interview that there was no way to leave Afghanistan without “chaos ensuing,” Rogers said the government could have come up with a plan to secure Americans and allies before the Taliban took Kabul.

“If somebody is going to help us for 20 years, and we’re going to make a bunch of promises to them, we need to fulfill those promises,” Rogers said. “And yesterday, it sounded like they weren’t going to go outside the airport. And that’s where a lot of those promises are hiding right now.”

Trump’s Saturday Rally to Be Biggest of 2021

Donald Trump will hold what is expected to be the largest rally of his post presidency  Saturday.

Newsmax has learned the event at York Family Farms in Cullman, Alabama, will feature Trump delivering his most damning indictment of the Biden administration to date.

“Trump will be exposing President Biden’s Afghanistan disaster,” a knowledgeable source told Newsmax.

The outdoor rally will be hosted by the Alabama Republican Party and begin at 7 p.m. ET, with a crowd of at least 50,000 Trump supporters expected to show.

The former president is scheduled to take the stage at 8 p.m. ET.

Newsmax will broadcast the Trump rally live to over 100 million U.S. television homes.

Cullman is in Alabama’s District 4, Trump’s best congressional district in the U.S. in 2016 and 2020.

“Donald Trump and the people of Alabama have a special relationship,” Alabama Republican Party Chairman John Wahl told WAFF-TV.

“The energy out there, the enthusiasm, just how much people are looking forward to this — that really helps me feed off of that energy and get the job done as we’re working on this day and night to make this happen.”

For the safety of those attending, the GOP will distribute free masks and hand sanitizer to whoever wants them, although the masks are not required to enter.

Trump held his first post-presidency rally June 26 at the Lorain County Fairgrounds in Wellington, Ohio.

He followed that with a rally July 3 at the Sarasota Fairgrounds in Sarasota, Florida.

A third rally was staged July 24, at the Federal Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona.

Security at Saturday’s event is expected to be ultra-tight with local and state law enforcement officers and Secret Service agents on hand to direct motorists.

There has been ongoing speculation Trump is preparing to announce he will seek to oust Biden from office in 2024 and will soon announce his candidacy for president.

Last week, Sean Spicer, Trump’s former White House communications director and co-host of Newsmax‘s “Spicer & Co.” predicted Trump will throw his hat in the ring.

Fox News has declined airing Trump’s rallies live with Newsmax being the only major cable news channel to cover them.

Taliban Leaders Freely Used Twitter and Facebook’s WhatsApp as They Took Power in Afghanistan

“The Taliban’s rapid takeover of Afghanistan poses a new challenge for big U.S. tech companies on handling content created by a group considered to be terrorists by some world governments.”

The challenge really isn’t about “handling content” at all. The solution is simple: strip jihadists of their accounts. Instead, Twitter and Facebook are now waffling, even though they rapidly swing into censorship mode to crack down on the content of conservatives, including even the former President of the United States, Donald Trump.

It isn’t the first time Twitter rolled out the red carpet for bloodthirsty jihadists. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khameini celebrated jihad terror against Israel on Twitter.

Taliban soldiers are now going door to door forcibly marrying girls as young as 12, and forcing them into sex slavery, but to Facebook and Twitter, it’s a “content challenge” on whether or not to host the Taliban.

How do Facebook and Twitter now answer questions about their globalist, “progressive” bias in favor of the most barbaric human rights abusers, while continuing to crack down on and silence supporters of Judeo-Christian democracies, human rights defenders and truth-tellers? They have no answers, so they get their mainstream media cronies to minimize this serious issue for them, and buy time for them until the next news cycle.

To Facebook and Twitter, conservative truth-tellers are the “extremists” and “terrorists” (“Islamophobes,” too), not the Taliban, al-Qaeda, Iran or the Muslim Brotherhood.

WhatsApp shut down the Taliban’s helpline in Kabul. Much more must be done.

Taliban’s Afghanistan takeover presents fresh challenge for social media companies

Aug 16 (Reuters) – The Taliban’s rapid takeover of Afghanistan poses a new challenge for big U.S. tech companies on handling content created by a group considered to be terrorists by some world governments.

Social media giant Facebook confirmed on Monday that it designates the Taliban a terrorist group and bans it and content supporting it from its platforms.

But Taliban members have reportedly continued to use Facebook’s end-to-end encrypted messaging service WhatsApp to communicate directly with Afghanis despite the company prohibiting it under rules against dangerous organizations.

A Facebook Inc (FB.O) spokesperson said the company was closely monitoring the situation in the country and that WhatsApp would take action on any accounts found to be linked with sanctioned organizations in Afghanistan, which could include account removal.

On Twitter Inc (TWTR.N), Taliban spokesmen with hundreds of thousands of followers have tweeted updates during the country’s takeover.

Asked about the Taliban’s use of the platform, the company pointed to its policies against violent organizations and hateful conduct but did not answer Reuters questions about how it makes its classifications. Twitter’s rules say it does not allow groups who promote terrorism or violence against civilians….

These include controversial blocks of former U.S. President Donald Trump for inciting violence around the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and bans on Myanmar’s military amid a coup in the country….

Fall of the Roman Republic & The Fall of America’s Constitutional Republic — History Repeats Itself

Internal turmoil provoked in 133 BC by economic stagnation in the city of Rome , slave revolts without, and dissension in the military precipitated a period of unrelenting political upheaval known as the Roman Revolution, the Late Roman Republic , or the Fall of the Republic, 133-27 BC.

Why Did The Roman Republic Fall?

Was it due to external circumstances (barbarian invasion, famine, plague, etc.) or to internal ones?

American must now take notice or be condemned to repeating history.

Douglass Jacoby in a podcast lists the following as symptoms of a “sick Roman society”:

  • Mounting love of show and luxury.
  • Widening gap between the very rich and the very poor.
  • An increased desire to live off of the state.
  • Freakishness in the arts, masquerading as originality.
  • Absorption in entertainment.
  • Obsession with sex.

I would add to this list the following:

  • Godlessness and paganism.
  • Worshiping oneself and not a higher spiritual calling.
  • The indoctrination of a societies youth to believe that communism is better than capitalism.
  • A loathing of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
  • Judging people by the color of their skin rather than the content of their characters.
  • An obsession with the occult.
  • And finally – The Covid pandemic.

Covid and the Fall of the U.S. Constitutional Republic

Covid has become the primary means by which the state has taken away the rights of the individual to choose. Logic and science have been supplanted with fear. The following dictates have lead inextricably to a tyrannical state:

  • Mask mandates.
  • Shutdown of businesses.
  • Vaccine mandates.
  • Vaccine passports.

Government restrictions, using Covid as the weapon of choice, have now become the new normal in America. Government control of individual liberty, using healthcare as a means to the end of freedom of choice, is the real deadly virus.

Covid is control writ large.

The siren song of big government is “we’re here to protect you and your health by imposing un-Constitutional mandates upon you, your family, your business and your individual liberties.” We are here to protect you from yourself.

Conclusion

What happened to the ideal my body my choice?

Choice is key to any society, particularly when it comes to the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution.

Without the freedom of choice there is no republic. Choosing where one lives, how many children they have, where they go to school, the career they want, making decisions about their life, liberty and happiness are the bedrock of a free society.

Take any one of these choices away and you tear down the republic. It happened to Rome in 133-27 BC and it is happening right now in America in AD 2021.

I have lived thru four pandemics, including two under the Obama administration SARS and H1N1. Covid is a strain of SARS. I have never witnessed the massive media and government narratives designed to take away every American’s freedoms of choice. Never!

Prove me wrong.

Instead, President Biden announced that he was directing the Secretary of Education to use ‘legal actions’ against Governor DeSantis, Governor Abbott, and others, who are banning mask mandates in schools. Biden then ran away after the speech, and refused to take any questions from the press. The Biden Administration is a total disaster. A nightmare.

Biden Tells Secretary Of Education To Use ‘Legal Actions’ Against Governors Banning Mask Mandates

President Joe Biden addressed the nation on the topic of the coronavirus on Wednesday, going a step further in his battle against specific Republican governors who have pushed back against mask mandates in schools.

Biden said, “For those who aren’t eligible for the vaccine yet — children under the age of 12 — masks are the best available protection for them and the adults around them. That’s why we need to make sure children are wearing masks in school.”

“Unfortunately, as we’ve seen throughout this pandemic, some politicians are trying to turn public safety measures — that is, children wearing masks in school — into political disputes for their own political gain. Some are even trying to take power away from local educators by banning masks in school. They’re setting a dangerous tone,” Biden added.

He went on to say, “Today, I am directing the Secretary of Education — an educator himself — to take additional steps to protect our children. This includes using all of his oversight authorities and legal actions, if appropriate, against governors who are trying to block and intimidate local school officials and educators.”

The Biden administration has been looking for ways to get further involved in states’ affairs, specifically taking aim at Florida and Texas where Republican Governors Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott, respectively, have signed executive orders banning mask mandates.

According to The Daily Wire, “Fox News  Saturday that U.S. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona wrote a letter to DeSantis and Florida Education Commissioner Richard Corcoran informing them that the federal government would provide funds to school districts that defy the governor’s order and risk losing state funding.”

“Florida’s recent actions to block school districts from voluntarily adopting science-based strategies for preventing the spread of COVID-19 that are aligned with the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) puts students and staff at risk,” Cardona wrote.

“We are eager to partner with [the Florida Department of Education] on any efforts to further our shared goals of protecting the health and safety of students and educators,” Cardona added. “If FLDOE does not wish to pursue such an approach, the Department will continue to work directly with the school districts and educators that serve Florida’s students.”

Cardona sent a similar letter to Republican Governor of Texas Greg Abbott, saying that the Department of Education “stands with” the educators who are “working to safely reopen schools and maintain safe in-person instruction.”

Abbott has been in a legal battle with local districts that wish to defy his executive order banning mask mandates and impose their own restrictions on regions and schools.

Governors across the country are continuing to take steps to give parents the ability to make decision about their children’s health.

Republican Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed an executive order Monday giving parents the ability to make decisions about whether their kids wear masks in schools.

He stated, “Right now, some of the greatest frustration is occurring in our K-12 schools, especially around the issue of mask mandates. While local decision-making is important, individual decision-making by a parent on issues regarding the health and well-being of their child is the most important.”

“No one cares more about the health and well-being of a child than a parent. I am signing an executive order today that allows parents to opt their children out of a school mask mandate if either a school board or health board enacts one over a district,” he added.

His executive order says, “a student’s parent or guardian shall have the right to opt out of any order or requirement for a student in kindergarten through twelfth-grade to wear a face covering at school, on a school bus, or at school functions, by affirmatively notifying in writing the local education agency or personnel at the student’s school.”
