Democrats Fear the Newest National Political Party ‘No Labels’

Arizona is the third state to qualify in the making of a new national political party. The “No Labels” party is working aggressively to spread across the county proclaiming it is time for voters to have a nonextreme presidential option outside the two traditional political parties. The video and article below shares further information on “No Labels.”

Newest Political Party on Ballot in Three States Might Spell Bad News for Democrats

By Tony Gray • March 12, 2023

Democrats are expressing worry about a third party that has gained ballot access in three states for the 2024 general election.

Just as Al Gore warned in 2000 that a vote for third party candidate Ralph Nader was — effectively — a vote for Republican George Bush, they are terrified this could do the same.

Independent presidential candidate Ross Perot shocked both major political parties when he received 18.9 percent of the popular vote during the 1992 general election.

The 19.7 million votes he received during the 1992 election was the best showing by any independent or third party candidate in U.S. history.

No Labels is a group that claims it will give voters a nonextreme presidential option next year. The new political party has qualified to appear on 2024 presidential election ballots in Colorado, Arizona and Oregon.

Some Democrats criticize the group because they consider their effort a blatant effort to diminish President Joe Biden’s reelection chances. Other critics have called it outright grift, according to a Fox News report.

“No Labels is committed to fielding a candidate that will, intentionally or not, provide a crucial boost to Republicans – and a major obstacle to Biden,” think tank Third Way said in a statement. “As a result, they’ll make it far more likely—if not certain—that Donald Trump returns to the White House.”

Marianne Williamson is the only Democrat who has declared their candidacy for the party’s 2024 presidential nomination. President Joe Biden will run for reelection according to statements made by his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, and leading Democrats but he has not made an official announcement of his candidacy.

Republicans are piling into the GOP’s presidential primary that will challenge former President Donald Trump’s bid for another term in the Oval Office.

Third Way’s warning, which was first reported by Politico Tuesday, claimed third-party candidates have no chance of winning a general election. The think tank argued a credible third party candidate would get votes from people who otherwise would vote for President Biden.

The Francis Effect, Ten Years On

Robert Royal: It’s painful for a Catholic to have to say it, but needs saying out of fidelity to the truth: the Francis Effect has resulted in a Church that has not, as hoped, attracted people from outside and has left those within even more confused and divided.

Exactly ten years ago this morning to the very hour (given the time difference), I was working on an article about the 2013 conclave for this site in the lobby of the Atlante Star Hotel in Rome.  So, I remember the exact moment when the big flat-screen television there showed the white smoke coming from the chimney of the Sistine Chapel – and the hotel staff began shouting, “É l’americano!” They were wrong. It wasn’t – as they expected – NY’s Cardinal Timothy Dolan, whose large personality had been making a big impression in Italian media.

People began running to St. Peter’s Square. Me included. I wanted to see with my own eyes a rare event like that before going to the rooftop studio to do my duty as part of the EWTN “Conclave Crew” (precursor to the Papal Posse). St. Peter’s is one of the largest squares in Europe, but it filled up almost instantly. It was raining and noisy and almost impossible to see the loggia of the basilica through the forest of cell phones and iPads people held up as Jorge Mario Bergoglio, now Pope Francis, stepped out.

The choice of a pope is always a surprise, almost a mystery, but this one was especially so since no one expected it to be him. He immediately set a personal tone. John Paul II had famously proclaimed, “Be not afraid!” Benedict XVI, a less demonstrative man, said plainly, “Dear brothers and sisters, after the great Pope John Paul II, the cardinals have elected me, a simple, humble laborer in the vineyard of the Lord.” Francis’s first words were, “Buona sera.” In the moment, a charming casualness. Despite many later reports of a fiery Latin temper, it’s remained clear that Papa Bergoglio has a remarkable ability, when he wants, to turn on the charm.

People began to speak of “the Francis Effect,” the hope that a less “judgmental” and more welcoming Church would attract outsiders and reignite evangelical fervor. I myself, before the conclave even started, was thinking that maybe we needed a pastoral not a teaching pope who would implement the great intellectual and social legacies of JPII and Benedict everywhere in the Church, all the way down to the parish level. And for a brief moment, it seemed that was what we got.

At least, that was the image that Francis maintained in the media over those first days. But it was precisely among the media, thousands of whom he invited to a special gathering a few days after his election, that other traits began to appear. He praised the journalists present for recognizing that the election was a spiritual, not merely a political, process. At EWTN, we recognized that, but almost all the other “journalists” were only interested in abortion, gays, women priests. Still, a clever opening gambit that, for the moment, charmed a group in large part hostile to the Church.

Then, things took an ominous turn. Explaining – in Spanish now at the journalists’ gathering – that he knew that many in the crowd were not believers, he said he would not give his apostolic blessing outwardly, but would only say it silently. He inclined his head for a few moments then walked off the stage.

I wanted to think at the time that this might be a shrewd evangelizing strategy that might produce good effects. But after a grace period of several months, during which it became increasingly difficult to figure out exactly what Francis was up to, it became clear that the press – and the world – took his gestures another way: as a sign that this new pontiff would be a non-combatant in the “culture war.”

Indeed, he early on rebuked – no missing the hostility – those Catholics he categorized as “insisting” and “obsessing” about abortion, gays, and all the other usual points of conflict, as posing a threat to the Church. He emphasized the need for mercy not only as a theological but a practical matter: “Otherwise even the moral edifice of the Church is likely to fall like a house of cards.”

This odd judgment did not go down well, to say the least, with fervent Catholics who had sacrificed to defend children in the womb and marriage – and who have succeeded on several fronts over the past decade, without noticeable harm to the Church.

And ever since, a confusing ambiguity has been the modus operandi. For example, Francis has said multiple times that abortion is “like hiring a hitman to solve a problem.” He has excommunicated actual hit men in Southern Italy, but when it’s a matter of the worldwide slaughter of the innocents – more than 60 million year after year – he has done little.

The same with LGBT questions. Just three days ago, in an interview with the Argentinian publication La Nación, he rightly said: “Gender ideology, today, is one of the most dangerous ideological colonizations. . . .Why is it dangerous? Because it blurs differences and the value of men and women.”

Quite so, and if we have ideological hit men and ideological gender colonizers running loose in large numbers, primarily in the developed world, and seeking to extend their dominance everywhere via international institutions, “mercy” – if it’s to be effective in protecting the innocent, and not mere talk – ought to be driving the Church to do something concrete to stop them. Maybe even obsessing a little.

One of the sour fruits of the excessive emphasis on mercy is quite evident in the way “Synodality” is developing in the Church.  There’s a definite connection between a desire to be merciful – to favored sinners – and, say, the German bishops’ Synodale Weg, which is ready to celebrate several things that the Church has always declared sins. And the German synod is only the most open instance of what is very likely to happen with the worldwide Synods this October and October 2024.

Mercy was also quite present in the papacies of John Paul II (see his Dives in Misericordia i.e., “Rich in Mercy”)  and of Benedict XVI (“Mercy is in reality the core of the Gospel message; it is the name of God Himself, the face with which He reveals Himself in the Old Testament and fully in Jesus Christ, the Incarnation of creative and redemptive love.’). But in the past ten years, it has morphed into something else: “inclusion” and “openness,” in the current secular not their authentic Christian meanings – contrary to historic Christianity.

So, after ten years, what has been “the Francis effect”? In the plus column, there’s been a modest reform of Vatican finances, but also a financial crisis that may reflect continuing lay worries about where money is going. And there are some improvements in dealing with sexual abuse, though the special treatment given the pope’s friends – even the Satanic Marko Rupnik – has made the effort seem somewhat short of serious.

It’s painful for a Catholic to have to say it, but needs saying out of fidelity to the truth: the Francis Effect has resulted in a Church that has not, as hoped, attracted people from outside and has left those within even more confused and divided.

CLIMATE MYTHOMANIA: Remembering When Scientists In 2018 Predicted the World Will End in 2023

“The great enemy of truth is very often not the lie–deliberate, contrived and dishonest–but the myth–persistent, persuasive and unrealistic. Too often we hold fast to the cliches of our forebears. We subject all facts to a prefabricated set of interpretations. We enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.” ― John F. Kennedy, commencement address at Yale University, June 11, 1962.

One of the greatest myths ever propagated by scientist, politicians and eco-activists is that the world will end on _ _ _ _ due to climate change.

We call these predictions “climate mythomania.”

The members of the cult of climate mythomaniacs are the perfect examples of those who enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.

To highlight this cult of climate mythomaniacs we present to our readers a tweet by Charlie Kirk:

There has been a long history of lies–deliberate, contrived and dishonest and myths–persistent, persuasive and unrealistic made by scientists, economists, professors, corporations, the media and their followers.

Here are some examples of getting it wrong, very wrong:

  • Dr. Dionysius Lardner in 1830 wrote, “Rail travel at high speed is not possible because passengers, unable to breathe, would die of asphyxia.”
  • Lord Kelvin, President of the Royal Society in 1883 wrote, “X-rays will prove to be a hoax.”
  • A 1876 Western Union internal memo read, “This ‘telephone’ has too many shortcomings to be seriously considered as a means of communication. The device is inherently of no value to us.”
  • In 1903 the president of the Michigan Savings Bank advised Henry Ford’s lawyer not to invest in the Ford Motor Co., “The horse is here to stay but the automobile is only a novelty—a fad.”
  • Economist and Yale professor Irving Fisher in early October 1929 wrote,  “what looks like a permanently high plateau…I believe the principle of the investment trusts is sound, and the public is justified in participating in them.” Two weeks after the 1929 Stock Market Crash occurred on Thursday the 24th and Tuesday the 29th of October.
  • In 1930, British economist John Maynard Keynes predicted that there will be, “three hour shifts or a fifteen-hour work week” by the year 2030.
  • Albert Einstein in 1932 claimed that ”there is not the slightest indication that nuclear energy will ever be obtainable. That would mean that the atom would have to be shattered at will.”
  • New York Times in a 1936 article stated, “A rocket will never be able to leave the Earth’s atmosphere.”
  • Thomas Watson, chairman of IBM, 1943 said, “I think there is a world market for maybe five computers.”
  • Darryl Zanuck, movie producer, 20th Century Fox in 1946 said, “Television won’t last because people will soon get tired of staring at a plywood box every night.”

Ayn Rand warned,

The uncontested absurdities of today are the accepted slogans of tomorrow. They come to be accepted by degrees, by dint of constant pressure on one side and constant retreat on the other – until one day when they are suddenly declared to be the country’s official ideology.

The difference between these bad predictions is that they never became public policy. Rather they were proven false by science, the markets and consumers globally.

Today climate change has become the most egregious of  public policies. It’s dangerous because it controls science, the markets and consumers globally.

That’s the difference.

The ‘Trans’-Fem Debate: The National Version of ‘My Wife is Always Right’

“A pox on both their houses,” we may say, when wishing both sides in a contest could lose. I surely feel this way, too, with the “transgender” vs. feminist debate over men masquerading as female entering women’s sports and private spaces.

Oh, I don’t fence-sit. Not only have I likely written more pieces on preposterous “transgenderism” than most any other commentator, but I even reject the term and coined a more accurate characterization of the phenomenon — the MUSS (Made-up Sexual Status) agenda. Yet I also know this:

While leftists may call that agenda a men’s-rights-movement monster, the foundation for it absolutely was laid by feminists.

You won’t hear this much in a land so “patriarchal” that a common refrain is “My wife is always right.” Of course, the poor saps thus confessing don’t really mean their wives are infallible and are actually always right; they mean the missus will never, ever admit being wrong.

The sexes have different characteristic weaknesses, with lust being one of men’s. One of women’s involves greater difficulty admitting error. Also said is that it’s a woman’s prerogative to change her mind, and, boy, have feminists ever done a 180 on sex differences.

That is, MUSS activists have been accused, understandably, of trying to “erase women.” Yet conveniently forgotten is that theirs wasn’t the first movement to attempt such.

Feminism was.

Up until about last Thursday (speaking metaphorically), and far from today’s dominant “gender identity” theory, feminists upheld and socially enforced an outgrowth of “gender neutrality” theory: that the sexes are the same except for the superficial physical differences and, therefore, raising them identically ensures they’ll end up identical in inclination and, even, the devout believers insisted, in abilities.

This sameness-of-the-sexes dogma (SSD) was its day’s wokeness, enforced with a pink fist inside an iron glove. An example: Self-professed feminist academic and lesbian Camille Paglia once mentioned that fellow feminists would corner her on college campuses in the ’70s and, glaring, insist that hormones didn’t exist and that, even if they did, they couldn’t possibly influence behavior.

SSD was applied to sports, too. A 2008 article titled “Women and men in sports: Separate is not equal,” whose feminist authors ask “Why is gender segregation in sports normal?” is representative. Yet certain feminists (some of whom were male, mind you) were even more radical. Two exercise physiologists predicted decades ago, after analyzing the sexes’ world records’ progression, that women would overtake men in track and field by the late ’90s. (In reality, the intersex performance gap actually widened again that decade owing to better performance-enhancing-drug testing.)

In a nutshell, feminist dogma held that men surpassed women athletically only because they’d been developing their abilities longer; allowing women to tap their potential would ensure parity.

SSD was convenient: Since belief in inherent sex differences could be used to justify different sex roles and male-only domains (e.g., police), it had to be deep-sixed. Yet, tangled web woven, doing so paved the way for today’s MUSS agenda. How?

First, feminists spent decades enforcing the proposition that “the sexes are the same except for the superficial physical differences.” Then the MUSS crew came along with a corollary:

Changing the superficial physical differences can make you the opposite sex.

Of course, MUSS activists have gone beyond even this, insisting now that identity is reality. The feminists, however, gave them the launch pad. It’s A leading to B — proposition and corollary.

Thus is it tragically comical seeing feminists such as Kara Dansky appear on Tucker Carlson’s show and call the MUSS phenomenon “men’s rights movement” handiwork and “The New Misogyny.” At age 49 (soon), Dansky is old enough to remember feminist SSD advocacy but, hey, none of this is about principle — and feminists will never, ever admit their error.

Yet her feelings are fathomable. By entering and sometimes dominating females’ sports, MUSS males have accomplished something that eluded normal men: Given the feminists a painful object lesson in reality. When you can’t even beat perhaps gelded men taking female hormones, it’s hard complaining, as in the aforementioned 2008 article, about how this Patriarchal Culture™ claims a “female body is athletically inferior to a male body.”

But it’s always men’s fault, you see. The 2008 article also laments how in our male-dominated civilization, “the shadow of female frailty still shapes the environment of sports.” Female frailty, perish the thought!

Except that now, 15 years later, ex-runner and coach Lauren Fleshman complains at Time that having girls train athletically as boys do is causing them injuries and health problems the lads don’t suffer. And whose fault is this?

Fleshman writes that sports, as we know them, were “designed by men for men and boys” and “have never been designed around” the female body’s “developmental norms.” She’s on to us, alright. Do you fancy that sports evolved organically because people wanted to have fun and learn who was stronger, faster and “better”? Ha! No, they were “designed,” beginning millennia ago in ancient Greece, by a patriarchy so clever and nefarious that it purposely made athletics incompatible with the female body.

This said, I seem to remember it being feminists who wanted Title IX, girls not only playing sports but doing so competitively, and who said the lasses could do anything boys could — and maybe better. But why argue? “My wife is always right.”

It’s ironic, though: Disputing SSD decades ago — by, let’s say, mentioning male athletic advantages and that women can’t compete with men — made you a sexist or misogynist who must be silenced via social pressure and career-destruction threats. Now feminists will write articles, produce videos, appear on shows and even before government bodies talking about a plethora of “immutable” male athletic advantages such as the benefits of testosterone, increased muscle mass, greater VO2 max, and bone structure differences (e.g., narrower pelvises). Imagine that, feminists went from not knowing in the ’70s if hormones existed to being able to write a physiology textbook. Those MUSS men sure can deliver an education.

And today, saying there’s no reason women can’t compete with men athletically renders you, again, a sexist or misogynist who should be canceled. After all, females deserve “their own sports and private spaces.”

So does this mean men get theirs back? Will institutions such as the Citadel and Virginia Military Institute and once-male-only clubs again become XY exclusive? Will boys’ sports teams now be able to reject a girl without possibly being dragged through the mud and into court? Of course not.

SSD is a problem now that it’s enabling males to enter females’ domain. But it was gospel when it enabled females to enter males’ domain.

For the record, the MUSS agenda should be eradicated, but doing so while leaving feminism intact is a half measure. Both misbegotten forces should be rent root and branch.

I won’t hold my breath waiting, however, for conservative men to stop conserving yesterdays’ leftists’ victories, such as feminism. People have short memories, it’s in fellows’ nature to play the white knight, and then, don’t forget:

My wife is always right.

Top Democrat On J6 Committee: We Actually Didn’t Review Any Of The Surveillance Video

The country is being run and ruined by villains, clowns and morons. It will not end well.

Top Democrat On J6 Committee: We Actually Didn’t Review Any Of The Surveillance Video

By: Tristan Justice,

SAfter Fox News host Tucker Carlson aired Capitol surveillance footage this week exposing yet more falsehood from the House Select Committee on Jan. 6 and leaving Democrats and their media allies irate, the committee chair on Wednesday said the panel never actually analyzed the crucial footage.

On Monday’s edition of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Fox News aired the footage of the riot on Jan. 6, 2021, undermining the select committee’s narrative of a “deadly insurrection.” Given access to the video by Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, Carlson’s team reviewed over 40,000 hours of footage, which offered proof the committee manipulated audio and video to dramatize the riot for its made-for-TV hearings in an election year.

But in a Wednesday night statement to CNN, select committee Chairman Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., claimed the panel never analyzed the blockbuster footage Fox News aired this week.

“I’m not actually aware of any member of the committee who had access,” Thompson said. “We had a team of employees who kind of went through the video.”

Hiring investigators who “kind of went through the video” doesn’t sound like a very thorough investigation.

However, Thompson’s admission that his committee lacked due diligence makes no sense. Since when do lawmakers have no access to the same material as their own staffers? Did none of the nine panel members view the footage that was played for the cameras? Does Thompson not know who had access to the tapes? Was it just the former television executives they hired to produce their show trials? Either Thompson is lying and knows exactly who had access, or he handed the key to Vice Chair Liz Cheney and had nothing to do with it while the committee leaked exclusives to CNN.

Thompson’s office did not immediately respond to The Federalist’s inquiries.

The committee clearly had access to the footage Carlson aired this week that contradicted the panel’s key narratives. After all, members of the committee endlessly bragged about how many documents, more than 35,000, investigators reviewed. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who used the committee to dodge responsibility for her own failure to secure the Capitol, just refused to make the tapes public — and after Carlson’s revelations, it’s clear why.

Carlson’s program showed that the man who became the face of the “insurrection,” known as the “QAnon Shaman,” was given VIP treatment by police. The tapes showed since-deceased Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick walking around “vigorously” after altercations with protesters who had allegedly murdered him. The footage also showed that mysterious rioter Ray Epps lied to congressional investigators about his whereabouts the day of the riot, yet the committee protected the “insurrectionist.”

On Monday, Carlson announced his team discovered proof that Democrats on Pelosi’s probe came across the same footage Fox made public.

“We can be sure because the footage contains an electronic bookmark that is still archived in the Capitol’s computer system,” said Carlson. “That means that investigators working for the Democratic Party saw this tape. They saw it, but they refused to release the tape to the public.”

Committee staffers even used some of the footage to show Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., allegedly fleeing the Capitol. All Carlson did was extend the footage a few seconds longer than what was televised in the committee’s show-trial hearings, and it became clear Hawley departed the Capitol along with other members of Congress. The clip published by the committee was always demonstrably dishonest.

Yesterday some of the biggest banks in this country – Wells Fargo, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley – collectively lost more than 50 billion dollars collectively yesterday alone.

But no one in media and government have barely remarked. It’s all racial equity, inclusion and climate. The emperors not so new clothes.

Wall Street’s 4 top banks just had $55 billion wiped off their market value in a single day

By: Zinya Salfiti, Business Insider, Mar 10, 2023:

Four of America’s biggest banks lost a combined $55 billion of market value in a single day as financial stocks plunged.

US bank shares took a beating Thursday amid fears of contagion effects from the turmoil at Silicon Valley Bank and Silvergate.

JPMorgan saw the biggest tumble in market value among US lenders, losing $22 billion.

Wall Street’s biggest banks took quite a thrashing in the stock market Thursday as investors spooked the turmoil at Silicon Valley Bank and Silvergate Capital dumped financial shares.

JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Morgan Stanley – the four most valued US lenders – saw $55 billion wiped off their combined market capitalization on Thursday, Refinitiv data show.

JPMorgan, the biggest US bank, alone saw a $22 billion tumble in its market value as its stock slid 5.41% to $130.34. Wall Street heavyweight Bank of America lost $16.16 billion as its share price fell 6.20% to $30.54. Wells Fargo and Morgan Stanley saw their market capitalization drop by $10.3 billion and $6.2 billion, respectively.

Among other major US banks, Goldman Sachs and Citi also witnessed significant declines in their share prices.

The selloff came amid heightened fears of contagion effects from financial distress at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) and Silvergate Capital. SVB’s stock crashed 60% Thursday after the company said it would sell more shares to cover a $1.8 billion loss it incurred after completing a $21 billion fire sale of its bond portfolio.

Meanwhile, crypto-focused lender Silvergate said it will write off its assets and close down Wednesday, only days after flagging doubts about its survival.

The KBW Bank Index which tracks the performance of leading bank stocks fell 7.7% on Thursday, in what was the biggest decline since June 2020.

All four of the top US banks above remain under pressure in premarket trading on Friday, with JPMorgan stock falling an additional 1.10%, Bank of America dipping 0.62%, Wells Fargo sliding 0.88% and Morgan Stanley down 0.43%.

Mexico: 13 Migrants from Islamic Republic of Mauritania Detained in Border Town

“This is a global problem, it shows there are no adequate or safe ways for people fleeing a conflict or persecution to come to Mexico and the United States, they have to depend on organized crime.”

Well, gee, that’s a shame, but exactly what conflict or persecution are they feeling in Mauritania?

“These groups of migrants are considered vulnerable because of the language barrier and other factors including religious persecution.”

What religious persecution do they face?

Above all, why did these men travel to the border? What did they intend to do?

13 Mauritanian migrants mistakenly arrested in Tijuana

by Salvador Rivera, Border Report, March 2, 2023:

TIJUANA (Border Report) — Tijuana police detained 13 migrants from the small Muslim nation of Mauritania when officers raided a hotel earlier this week.

Migrants from this Northwest African country, officially known as the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, have rarely, if ever, been encountered in Tijuana, according to migrant advocates.

Initially, police said officers became suspicious when they saw a few men scatter and run into the property of the Hotel Jacuzzys.

The men were taken into custody, and their booking photos were released to the media.

After translators were called in, it was determined that the men were migrants who were being forced to stay at the hotel by a smuggling organization.

“It was a case of a rescue,” said Soraya Vazquez, a human rights activist in Tijuana.

Vazquez says the police department did not handle the situation properly….

“This is a global problem, it shows there are no adequate or safe ways for people fleeing a conflict or persecution to come to Mexico and the United States, they have to depend on organized crime.”

The 13 Mauritanian nationals have been turned over to the National Institute of Migration in Tijuana and are being detained because they have yet to prove they entered Mexico legally.

“These groups of migrants are considered vulnerable because of the language barrier and other factors including religious persecution,” Vazquez said….

The Army Might Be Ditching Its ‘Woke’ Image As It Faces Historic Recruiting Problems

  • The U.S. Army’s new brand and ad campaign largely omits reference to woke identity politics and could be just what the service needs to overcome historic recruiting obstacles, experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
  • Prior advertising efforts alienated conservative families that once served as the Army’s primary recruiting base, according to experts.
  • They “forgot that the primary market for Army recruiting is young men from traditional families, looking for a challenge,” Elaine Donnelly, president of the Center for Military Readiness, told the DCNF.

The Army’s new branding campaign, unveiled Wednesday, shied away from social justice and diversity themes as it seeks to overcome a historic drop in recruiting, military experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The service’s buy-in on identity politics could turn off conservative families, which have traditionally served as the military’s largest recruiting base, and exacerbated the service’s recruiting woes in fiscal year 2022, experts and lawmakers warn. But, the years-in-the-making rebrand, with a goal of showcasing the Army’s role in defense and innovation throughout American history and encouraging soldiers to push their limits, could help the Army meet its ambitious recruiting goals for 2023, experts in military readiness told the DCNF.

“I think the new brand and commercial better appeal to young people’s desire to be part of a big, important effort larger than themselves,” Thomas Spoehr, director of the Heritage Foundation’s Center for National Defense, told the DCNF. “I think that is the right approach to take.”

The Army has come under fire for embracing perceived left-wing values in branding, according to Task and Purpose. One example is a 2021 advertising scheme that emphasized the different kinds of people who could join the service, highlighting a same-sex family.

Left-wing trends in the military’s education and personnel policies — including emphasizing inclusion of LGBTQ+ servicemembers, doubling down on outreach to minority communities, and teaching CRT and giving pronoun advice at the military academies — to support “diversity as a strategic imperative” could cause conservative, often white families to believe they “are not welcome or appreciated in the military,” Elaine Donnelly, president of the Center for Military Readiness, told the DCNF in June.

“Parents and Army veterans who are ‘influencers’ are not recommending military service to the next generation, and recruiting numbers show the deterioration,” she added, as the Army was beginning to realize it might not make its recruiting goals for 2022.

The new rebrand, however, has so far nixed emphasizing the background or identity of future soldiers or the supposed systemic disadvantages each has faced, though two commercials unveiled Wednesday did feature an ethnically diverse cast. At an event with Army officials promoting the rebrand, the word “diversity” was only mentioned once, and that was in reference to the array of career fields available in the Army.

“The Army’s identity-based marketing has been a disaster for recruiting, which is why they’re shifting away from it. … The Army and every other branch needs to focus on appealing to all Americans, regardless of their political beliefs or background,” Republican Indiana Rep. Jim Banks, who chairs the military personnel subcommittee on the House Armed Services Committee and has sworn to crack down on wokeness in the military, said to the DCNF.

The campaign resurrects the “be all you can be” slogan that served marketing and recruiting efforts from 1981 to 2001 and speaks to the possibilities for personal and career development the Army holds, according to Army Secretary Christine Wormuth, Army Chief of Staff Gen. James McConville and Sgt. Maj. Michael Grinston. It also involves nixing the box around the Army’s recognizable five-pointed star logo.

Two new 90-second ads accompanying the rebranding guide the viewer through the history of the U.S. Army, from the colonial militias of the Revolutionary War to modern missions aimed at countering a rising China. They highlight themes of “overcoming obstacles” and pushing toward the future with new technologies that better the lives of civilians as well as serving the nation’s defense.

“You could say that the new brand is “non-woke” because it is completely absent of any suggestion that the Army is interested in any one demographic than another,” Spoehr said.

“The images of history in the new ad ring true, but I hope that woke Critical Race Theory (CRT) activists don’t get the chance to ruin what could be progress in reconnecting with traditional families who see America as a great country, not a racist country,” Donnelly told the DCNF.

Two prior marketing campaigns under the most recent branding scheme seemed to alienate some target audiences, Col. John Horning, who leads marketing and strategy for the Army Enterprise Marketing Office, explained to Army Times.

The “What’s Your Warrior” ad series rolled out in 2019 aimed to showcase the wide variety of career fields available in the Army, but it’s belligerent overtones turned away some hopeful audiences, Horning told the outlet. However, The Calling, an anime-style video series released in 2021, sparked condemnation from some conservative audiences.

“Even with The Calling, we found that there was a prospect audience that absolutely identified [with it], but we’re all very aware that it struck a nerve,” Horning told Army Times. “Some other people didn’t identify with what we were trying to do, and it became a distraction.”

One video in the series depicted a future recruit named Emma attending a wedding for her “two loving and inspiring mothers.”

The Army intended the commercials to broaden its appeal to Gen Z audiences and present a range of relatable scenarios as the recruiting pool grows increasingly shallow, Task and Purpose reported. Instead, detractors launched a barrage of criticism against the videos for representing what they saw as a “woke” and “emasculated” military.

The ads “forgot that the primary market for Army recruiting is young men from traditional families, looking for a challenge,” Donnelly told the DCNF. “Last year’s recruiting crisis was partially fueled by that colossal mistake.”

The Army missed its recruiting objectives for 2022 of 60,000 new members by 25%; to make up for that offset, the service set a “stretch goal” for 2023 to 65,000 recruits, according to Wormuth.

The Army accelerated launch of the new branding effort to help with recruiting for 2023, Wormuth explained at the event Wednesday. The new campaign cost roughly $117 million to execute, she said, and is a result of extensive work that included focus groups with relevant stakeholders. But leaders are confident that a data-driven approach will yield results.

The U.S. needs an Army that shows itself to be a capable, hard-hitting force that can defeat and deter enemy aggression, not one that prioritizes inclusion over competence and lowers standards to accommodate more self-described identities, GOP lawmakers argue.

As recruiting appeared to slow in the spring and summer of 2022, the service surveyed Americans between the ages of 16 and 28 to find out why young people were choosing options besides serving in the military. Respondents cited as their number one concern that they “would be putting their life on hold,” Grinston, the Army’s top enlisted leader, testified to Congress on Thursday.

He denied that Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives hurt recruiting.

“They just don’t perceive the Army as being in touch with the modern, everyday culture that they’re used to,” Army head of marketing Maj. Gen. Alex Fink told The Associated Press in context of the survey results.

At the same time, propensity to serve has fallen to the lowest levels in 15 years. Only 9% of young people demonstrate a desire or willingness to join the Army, and of those, only 23% meet physical, academic and legal qualifications — down from 29%, Grinston said.

The Army doubled down on messaging about benefits and career opportunities available to soldiers in 2022 and into 2023, offering bonuses in the thousands of dollars for successful referrals and new recruits’ willingness to ship out within 45 days of enlistment. It invested in health care, education support and vacation while pleading with lawmakers to set aside funding for housing assistance, child care and spousal career assistance, to hold on to the recruits.

It also plans to expand opportunities for willing prospects to complete pre-enlistment programs that offer supplemental fitness training and academic tutoring for those who fall short of the Army’s requirements in those areas.

However, none of those efforts appeared to meaningfully move the needle on recruiting, Spoehr said.

“I think the Army (and the other services) are learning that recruiting messages that stress compensation and benefits are falling short,” Spoehr told the DCNF.

About 84% of new recruits come from military families, according to Gen. McConville.

“So we’re becoming a military family business. We want to be an American family business,” he told reporters Wednesday.

“We need every young person in this country, we need every parent in this country, to know that the United States military is a pathway to success,” McConville said.

Pope Francis Declares ‘Gender Ideology’ As ‘Dangerous’ To Civilization

Pope Francis said in an interview published Friday that “gender ideology” is among the “most dangerous ideological colonizations” today, according to a recent interview with La Nacion, an Argentinian media outlet.

The pope has made waves recently with some of his comments on LGBTQ issues, most recently saying that homosexuality, while a sin, should not be criminalized. Francis said that “gender ideology” has created one of the most “dangerous” ideologies in recent history because of the way it blurs the lines between men and women, according to a translation of his remarks to La Nacion by the Catholic News Agency.

Francis explained that “all humanity is the tension of differences” and worried about how “gender ideology” had virtually eliminated those differences between men and women.

“Why is it dangerous?” Francis said. “Because it blurs differences and the value of men and women. The question of gender is diluting the differences and making the world the same, all dull, all alike, and that is contrary to the human vocation.”

The pope said that the idea of allowing people to identify as male, female or nonbinary reminded him of a 1907 book titled “Lord Of The World” by Monsignor Robert Hugh Benson. Francis explained the book showed a future where “differences are disappearing” and all things become “uniform.”

Francis also dispelled rumors that he had been asked to write a document on the topic of gender, noting that he “always distinguish[es] between what pastoral care is for people who have a different sexual orientation and what gender ideology is,” according to La Nacion. The pope called people who believe that radical gender ideology is “the path of progress” rather “naive.”

Francis has been criticized in the past due to remarks he has made about transgenderism and acceptance of same-sex marriage, according to the Catholic News Agency. In 2020, the pope said that he would be in favor of a “civil union law” for same-sex couples, and in January 2022 encouraged parents to not “condemn” their children over sexual orientation.

Most recently, he criticized the Church for becoming caught up in political debates, warning that the “Gospel is not an ideology.”

“[T]he Gospel is a proclamation that touches your heart and makes you change your heart, but if you take refuge in an idea, in an ideology, whether right or left or centre, you are making the Gospel a political party, an ideology, a club of people,” the pope said.

The Vatican did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

There Are Now Only Two Parties in America—’Traitors’ and ‘Patriots’

“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” — Thomas Jefferson, founding father of the United States of America

“A traitor is a betrayer – one who practices injury, while professing friendship. Benedict Arnold was a traitor, solely because, while professing friendship for the American cause, he attempted to injure it. An open enemy, however criminal in other respects, is no traitor. — Lysander Spooner, legal theorist, abolitionist and radical individualist.

History, sadly, is repeating itself. The title of this column came from a letter written by General Ulysses S. Grant to his father during the Civil War. General Grant wrote,

There are but two parties now: traitors and patriots. And I want hereafter to be ranked with the latter and, I trust, the stronger party.

Today, we find ourselves on the brink of a second Civil War. We predict that this “Civil War 2.0” will occur if the traitors steal the presidential election from the patriots, once again, in 2024.

If January 6th, 2021 was an “insurrection”,  then we believe that January 6th, 2025 will be “open warfare” if the election is stolen by the traitors, again!

The Party of Traitors

Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of the United states stated,

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

The Party of Traitors want to suppress the truth and silence at all cost those who speak it.

The Party of Traitors are those from the school house to the White House, in industry, colleges, universities, in the legacy media and social media pushing the diversity, inclusion and equity propaganda down our collective throats. The traitors don’t want law and order and equal justice under our laws. The traitors want power, pure power over the people.

There’s a new group that is contesting the uncontested absurdities of today. This group is called Citizens for Sanity and they are attacking the insanities we are witnessing daily from traitors embedded within the political leadership from the school house to the White House. Watch:

The Party of Traitors promote myths that undermine our faith, families and freedoms. These myths promoted by the Party of Traitors includes there is no such thing as a man (XX) and woman (XY), Covid wasn’t created in a Chinese lab, vaccines are safe and lockdowns are a reasonable solution to stop the spread of Covid.

Another example is the defund the police movement. This is based upon the idea that the police are the enemy and criminals are good and victims of systemic racism. The Party of Traitors in the below 7-minute video compilation, in their own words, declare their distrust and hate for our laws and law enforcement officers.

Even our most trusted federal law enforcement institutions are now corrupt. They are doing the bidding of the Party of Traitors.

The Party of Patriots

Thomas Jefferson said,

Dissent is the Highest Form of Patriotism.”

The patriots are the polar opposites of the traitors. Patriots believe in faith, family and freedom. These three words are the bedrock upon which this Constitutional Republic was founded.

The Patriot Party has one goal: From the school house to the White House drain the swamps of traitors.

The Democrats have since 2016 worked every angle to discredit the MAGA movement in general and President Donald J. Trump in particular. Their efforts began with the false Russia collusion gambit, which has been proven false and made up by the FBI. This was followed by the quid pro quo myth which lead to the impeachment proceedings against President Trump.

The fact is that colluding with Russia and Ukraine and we the people all now know these quid pro quo activities actually involved the Biden family and the Party of Traitors.

The fact is that the J6 Special Committee was a hoax perpetuated upon we the people.

As Lysander Spooner wrote,

Those who are capable of tyranny are capable of perjury to sustain it.

It is now obvious that the traitors in our government are bent towards lying, cheating and, yes, stealing elections at every level.

The Party of Patriots is determined to stop the steal in 2024.

The Bottom Line

Without legitimate elections, we are done. Finished as a Constitutional Republic.

The ideal of one voter one vote is becoming ancient history as we enter the 2024 Presidential election cycle.

Judgement Day is Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

We will either have a free and fair election or we will have a repeat of the 2020 presidential election.

That will be the tipping point where the tree of liberty must be refreshed with the blood of patriots and traitors alike.

Live free or die” is not just a slogan it’s the truth! Today telling the truth has become a revolutionary act.

Hillary Clinton Calls for Increased Military Aid to Ukraine – Damn Good Reason Not To Do So

A damn good reason for not sending more $BILLIONS and warfighting equipment to Ukraine is that Hillary Clinton says we should send more including F-16 fighters and long range missiles (capable of hitting targets inside of Russia).

‘So Inspiring To Me’: Hillary Clinton Calls For Increased Military Aid For Ukraine

Former secretary of state, senator and first lady Hillary Clinton called for increased military aid to Ukraine in a “Morning Joe” interview excerpt that aired Friday on MSNBC.

Clinton was interviewed alongside Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska, who is in the United Arab Emirates, a country that has resisted Western sanctions and has continued to provide diplomatic and economic support to Moscow since Russia invaded Ukraine in Feb. 2022. Host Joe Scarborough asked Clinton about the Ukrainian people’s fight for values like democracy and freedom.

“It’s so inspiring to me, and I hope it is inspiring to every American, particularly those in positions to make decisions,” Clinton responded. “Because we have to continue, and I would even argue increase, the military support that we give to the Ukrainians sooner.”

Scarborough interjected to ask whether or not that increased military support should include F-16 fighter jets.

“It includes air cover, it includes long-range missiles, it includes much more defensive systems, and not just from us but from our NATO allies and others,” Clinton replied.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has consistently requested F-16s from Western countries since the war began, but has not received any so far. President Joe Biden said recently that F-16s for Ukraine are off the table “for now,” and other officials have expressed that they don’t believe the jets are the most important aid Ukraine could be receiving for the current stage of the conflict.

Last weekend, two Ukrainian pilots were in Arizona to receive evaluations on F-16 simulators for potential future training purposes, defense officials said.

Clinton and Zelenska’s full interview with “Morning Joe” is set to air Monday morning.

The GOP-led House passed the Protecting Speech from Government Interference Act on Thursday with 206 Democrats voting against it.

The bill passed with 219 votes.

Kentucky GOP Rep. James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Accountability Committee, sponsored the Protecting Speech from Government Interference Act, which sets a standard that “employees acting in their official capacity should neither take action within their authority or influence to promote the censorship of any lawful speech, nor advocate that a third party, including a private entity, censor such speech.”

The vote on the legislation comes after the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government held a hearing on “the politicization of the FBI and DOJ and attacks on American civil liberties.”

Make no mistake, this massive tax hike will it every single America and most of all our savings. Biden is raising capital gains tax from 20% to 40%, imposing a tax on unrealized gains, huge increases on two income families, but hit worst of all, small business.

Biden’s titanic tax hikes are only exceeded by his spending.

Even with $5 trillion in tax hikes bringing the highest sustained tax burden America has ever seen, the public-held national debt would still jump from $25 trillion to $44 trillion according to the president’s own figures.

Annual budget deficits would grow past $2 trillion even with peace and prosperity.

Simply paying the interest on the national debt would cost taxpayers $10 trillion over the decade — more than any program besides Social Security and Medicare.

Apart from crashing the stock market, it will impoverish savers, homeowners and stock-holders.

It’s a deathblow to the American economy.

Biden’s $5 trillion tax blowout still leaves soaring red ink

President Biden’s budget request is meant to drive headlines showcasing a claimed $3 trillion in deficit reduction over the next decade.

In reality, his budget proposes the largest tax increase in modern history, plows much of the new savings into more new spending and leaves Social Security on its path to insolvency.

Start with taxes.

Inflation-adjusted federal revenues have already soared to $1 trillion above pre-pandemic levels, to their second-highest share of the economy since World War II.

Yet the president would raise taxes by an additional $5 trillion over the decade — the largest tax hike since the 1960s.

Total revenues would approach 20% of the economy, and income-tax revenues would average 10% of the economy over the decade.

Both would represent the highest sustained tax burdens in American history.

America’s businesses would bear much of the tax burden.

Total corporate taxes would jump by 56%, to their highest sustained share of the economy since the 1970s (and may exceed the 1970s levels when also accounting for small-business taxes).

Much of these revenues would come from raising the corporate tax rate from 21% to 28%.

When including state taxes, American corporations would face the second-highest tax burden among Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development nations.

In a world of global tax competition, America would again hamstring its own competitiveness.

One could defend steep tax increases if accompanied by equal spending savings as part of a balanced plan to combat Washington’s trillion-dollar deficits.

Biden proposes $5.5 TRILLION in tax hikes on the rich to pay for $6.8T budget that includes pay raise for federal workers and funding for green agenda

  • The budget proposes a 7.3 percent increase in non-defense discretionary spending – about double its increase in defense spending
  • It calls for $688B in non-defense discretionary spending – a $47B increase
  • Calls for $886 billion to be allocated to overall defense – an increase over 2023’s $858 billion

President Joe Biden on Thursday released a $6.8 trillion budget that puts higher taxes on the rich, targets corporations and gives a huge injection of funding for social programs such as child care and paid family leave.

The plan includes raking in $5.5 trillion in tax revenues from the wealthiest Americans by raising the top rate for those making more than $400,000 from 39.6 percent from 37 percent and imposing a 25 percent minimum income tax on billionaires.

The president’s plan – which he says will reduce the deficit by $3 trillion over 10 years – would also nearly double the capital gains tax rate for investment to 39.6 percent from 20 percent and raise income levies on corporations.

Enough for the largest peacetime budget in history has also been proposed – including $842 billion for the Pentagon, a 5.2 percent pay rise for troops, $6 billion in support for Ukraine and Europe and $37 billion on the nuclear weapons program.

There are also billions set aside for a 5.2 percent pay rise for federal workers, support for refugees, more offshore wind farms and a $25 billion investment in border security.

The huge budget is likely to be blocked in Congress, and Republicans have already called the plan ‘reckless’ and a ‘road map to fiscal ruin’.
