SATAN’S MINIONS: The Financiers of Michael R. Pence — Part 3

“When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation, since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes…Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain.” –  Napoleon Bonaparte, 1815

“Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction.” – Blaise Pascal, French mathematician

“Only crime and the criminal, it is true, confront us with the perplexity of radical evil; but only the hypocrite is really rotten to the core.” –  Hannah Arendt

Motivated mainly by ego, Mike Pence and his wife Karen craved the upper echelons of political power.  Pence always looked to those with money and power who could advance his political goals.  One of them was his good friend, David McIntosh, a well-known Trump hater who served as executive director of Vice President Dan Quayle‘s and Bush’s Council for Competitiveness.  But McIntosh was only the beginning, the DeVos and Koch organizations were the financiers with serious money.

Club for Growth

McIntosh, the pro-amnesty president of Club for Growth (CFG), left his congressional seat to seek the governorship of Indiana in 2000 which opened the door for Pence to run for Indiana’s 6th district.  McIntosh introduced Pence to the chairman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Van Smith, who ran a manufacturing and real estate empire from headquarters in Muncie and could help fund Pence.  After years of being on Indiana radio, Pence was well-known and Van Smith encouraged his run. Smith worked with Pence and even helped him achieve the gubernatorial nomination.

Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Kelly Stanley was Pence’s fund raiser for his 2000 election to Congress.  (As Lou Dobbs often stated, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce promotes globalism.)

In 2012, Pence scheduled a fund raiser with GOP Governor-elect Nikki Haley and she ultimately became Trump’s UN Ambassador.  Haley collaborated closely with VP Pence during her tenure as Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations. As head of the transition team staffing the Trump Administration, Pence likely is largely responsible for NeverTrumper Haley gaining the sensitive and high-profile post when a South Carolina business friend asked Trump to appoint Haley so their more conservative Lt. Governor could take over. An indicator of the tight connection between Pence and Haley is that in their gubernatorial campaigns in Indiana and South Carolina, they shared the same principal campaign consultant, the young Georgian Nick Ayers.

The Club had been created with the aid of the Koch brothers’ political machine and advised about 1,500 donors, a number of whom were Wall Street investors.  They sent checks to the organization.

CFG had financed Pence’s good friend Jeff Flake for his first term in Congress.  Flake stated that every two weeks as much as $15K in checks arrived at his doorstep from people he didn’t know.  This was when founder Stephen Moore was the president and was so disinterested in social issues that he banned the word “abortion” at club meetings.  (Anti-gunner Pat Toomey succeeded Moore as president.)

After Pence appeared for inspection, he was selected to be one of ten newcomers favored by the club. Pence collected a bit more than $3,100 from a CFG account and an additional $62,400 in checks forwarded to him by the club.  Others filled his coffers with more than $1 million.  His list of contributors included Amway heir Dick DeVos and J. Patrick Rooney of the Golden Rule Financial insurance company.

Pence followed CFG’s open global markets and free trade agreements. After he spoke at the 2000 RNC for Bush/Cheney, Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert, now a convicted felon, pro-amnesty majority leader Dick Armey and Republican whip Tom Delay attended rallies in Indiana to boost Pence.  Pence adopted Armey as a mentor.

Dick and Betsy DeVos

Pence was appealing to many organizations, but especially to the DeVos Family Foundation which was built on the Amway home products company by Dick’s father, Richard.  Betsy’s father was Edgar Prince and her brother is Erik Prince, founder of the private military company Blackwater USA.  Prince’s private military force had a $1 billion contract to provide services in Iraq.  It billed the US taxpayers roughly $450K per year per man deployed in country, which was about six times the amount paid to an American soldier.  Privatization in action…transferring government function to businesses.

Erik is the Vice President of The Prince Foundation founded by his parents, Edgar and Elsa Prince.  They have donated millions of dollars to alleged American conservative Christian groups as Alliance Defense FundCouncil for National PolicyFamily Research Council, Focus on the Family, Promise Keepers and American Family Association.

Betsy DeVos is known for her support for school choice, school voucher programs, and charter schools.  Columnist Diane Kepus researched Betsy DeVos and knew she would be a disaster; her two articles on DeVos are well worth your time, Link and Link.

What most people don’t realize is that when one penny of federal tax dollars (which is given to the states) goes to support a religious, private, or home school child via choice or vouchers, all the federal regulations go with those funds.

In August of 1933, Dr. J. Gresham Machen, gave the speech, The Necessity of the Christian School. He was Professor of New Testament in Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, Pa. The lecture was given at the Educational Convention held in Chicago under the auspices of the National Union of Christian Schools.  Here is a portion of what he said:

Every lover of human freedom ought to oppose with all his might the giving of Federal aid to the schools of this country; for Federal aid in the long run inevitably means Federal control, and Federal control means control by a centralized and irresponsible bureaucracy, and control by such a bureaucracy means the death of everything that might make this country great. Against this soul-killing collectivism in education, the Christian school, like the private school, stands as an emphatic protest.

Pence’s devoted financier, Betsy DeVos was nominated after Michelle Rhee was dropped. DeVos was lauded for Education Secretary by Jeb Bush as she sat on the board of his Foundation of Excellence in Education which promoted common core.

Diane Kepus’ fears were founded.  Mike Pence played an important role in the confirmation of Betsy DeVos for Education Secretary. Amid protests from Democratic critics and teachers’ unions that DeVos, a billionaire charter school supporter with no public-school experience, was unqualified for the position, the Senate deadlocked in a 50-50 tie. Republican Senators Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska joined their Democratic colleagues in voting against DeVos. Normally we wouldn’t laud their votes, but this time they were right.  On February 7, 2017, Vice President Pence cast the historic tie-breaking vote to confirm her, the first-time a vice president has been called on to break a tie in a cabinet nomination.

Betsy’s brother Erik Prince had long been a Pence backer.  Betsy and Dick DeVos were impressed by Pence’s support for their pet project of charter schools.  One wonders if Pence and DeVos back American tax-funded charters by Islamic Imam Fethullah Gulen, Rudolph Steiner’s Anthroposophical Waldorf Schools, massively growing in China, and Communist Chinese charter schoolsChinese investors are putting millions into Florida Chinese charters.

Pence compensated one of his expansive financiers with a cabinet position in the Trump administration…a job where she kept President Carter’s cabinet level Education Department as rotten as it has been since its creation. In 1867, President Andrew Johnson signed legislation creating the first Department of Education. Its main purpose was to collect information and statistics about the nation’s schools.  By 1880 John Dewey was promoting his progressive education turning students into functional illiterates.

Koch Brother Organizations

For years, Pence has been a loyal political ally of the biggest GOP dark money donors. He is a major beneficiary of Koch family money. The Koch organizations did not endorse, nor did they fund Trump in 2016, but they love Pence.  Charles Koch once likened the contest between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton to being asked to choose cancer or a heart attack.

A steady flow of Koch money has filled Pence’s campaign coffers and he has employed many former Koch staffers in his political offices.  Koch Industries and Koch Enterprises became top donors during Pence’s Congressional career.  Pence’s close friend, Kellyanne Conway is one of many people who has worked for both Pence and Koch-affiliated groups.  As Governor of Indiana, Pence hired Koch Industry’s then-communications director, Matt Lloyd, to work for him.  Lloyd was a longtime Pence staffer in Congress.

Pence’s long-time adviser and former chief of staff, Mark Short was president of Koch’s Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce from 2011 to 2016. Short was previously a Senior Fellow at the Miller Center of Public Affairs, a CNN contributor, as well as Chief of Staff to Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison and the House Republican Conference.

Peter Navarro told us the truth about Marc Short.  He said, “Marc Short, VP Pence’s Chief of Staff, worked with Pence in allowing the Big Steal to move forward – He’s “not a good guy.”

In June of 2017, 16 of 23 senior white house officials had ties to the Koch brothers, including Reince Priebus, Kellyanne Conway, Jeff Sessions, Mick Mulvaney, Rob Porter and Don McGahn.  Even Treasury Secretary Mnuchin helped them out with a change in tax laws.  The Trump administration was packed full of Koch operatives, brought in by their water boy, Mike Pence. Here is a shocking list of the Trump transition team Koch beneficiaries.

Heritage Foundation

In 1991, Pence became president of the Indiana Policy Review Foundation (IPRF), which is part of the State Policy Network. Link They are satellite affiliates of the Heritage Foundation whose goals and interests are similar to the Koch’s.  The IPRF was a small group back when Pence was president, but in the years since it has amassed an enormous budget thanks in great part to the largess of the Koch network of donors.

Koch money massively funds the Federalist Society and they chose the list of names for Trump appointments to the Supreme Court. Link  Heritage Foundation also provided a list of “conservative” names to Trump for Supreme Court Justices, and Heritage has received funding from organizations connected to the Koch brothers. In 2012, the Heritage Foundation received $650,000 from the Claude R. Lambe Foundation, which was one of the Koch Family Foundations before it closed in 2013. The Lambe Foundation contributed at least $4.8 million to the Heritage Foundation between 1998 and 2012.

Heritage Foundation is controlled-opposition, and has received funding from Koch’s Donors Trust and Donors Capital Fund, including $53,300 in 2010 and $69,850 in 2012.  The Koch brothers have donated millions of dollars to Donors Trust through the Knowledge and Progress Fund.

Kochs are key funders of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) and the State Policy Network (SPN).  ALEC was founded by Heritage Foundation’s first president, Paul Weyrich.  Stephen Moore, founder of Club for Growth is on the board of ALEC because like the Kochs, and ALEC, they are all promoting another constitutional convention that would ultimately destroy our 1787 Constitution.

Pence spoke at the ALEC meeting in Indianapolis in the summer of 2016 and met with the Kochs in Denver in 2017.

David Koch was on the board of Trustees of Rockefeller University.  He was also on the board of Earth watch Institute, an environmental, sustainability, Agenda 21 group and the board of the globalist new age Aspen Institute formerly headed by now deceased new age environmentalist Maurice Strong.  Strong was the driving force behind the birth and imposition of UN Agenda 21.

Stem-cell research is supported by the Kochs and David also signed onto an amicus brief for the supreme court supporting gay rights and gay marriage.  Running as the Libertarian Party vice presidential candidate in 1980, David Koch backed a platform calling for the full legalization of abortion.

Heritage Foundation has acquired millions in funding by other pro-abortion advocates, besides the Koch Foundation.  Richard Mellon Scaife donated over $30 million and took out a full-page WSJ ad in 2004 claiming Americans should be pleased to give tax dollars to Planned Parenthood.

Shelby and Kathryn Davis gave millions to Heritage.  Kathryn was a longtime advocate of women’s rights through the League of Women’s Voters and Planned Parenthood, a committed environmentalist who also endorsed global education initiatives. Davis was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Wellesley College trustee for 18 years.

Mike Pence has now joined Heritage as a “distinguished visiting fellow.”

Koch Campaign for Amnesty

The billionaire Koch brothers campaign for amnesty and cheap labor shows they are open border, mass immigration, and mass amnesty despite opposition from the American people.  Koch ads pushed amnesty by using the words of the D.C. political establishment, which is unified not only on mass immigration, but also on endless free trade, and foreign interventionism.  House Speaker Paul Ryan was with them. Koch money even supported Andrew Cuomo as Governor of New York, who had publicly stated, “America has never been great.”

A campaign launched by Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce, Americans for Prosperity and the LIBRE Initiative, all groups funded by Koch brothers, consisted of advertisements, lobbying efforts and grassroots organization. This was a multi-year, multi-million-dollar campaign to tout free trade and oppose Trump’s tariffs, and to defy our President’s goals.

In a January 2018 White House bi-partisan immigration meeting with Trump, Pence declined to support Trump’s plan to change the law so that immigration rules help Americans, and he instead touted a quick amnesty for ‘DACA’ illegals.  Pence sided with his pro-immigration buddies Flake and Ryan rather than with President Trump.

Jeff Flake and other pro-amnesty Senators were there by invitation to urge the administration to cave to the big business lobby, which wants an expansive amnesty in which DACA illegal aliens are given work permits so that wages can be kept stagnant, rather than rising for Americans.  All these pro-immigration Senators were brought into DACA discussions with Trump by Vice President Mike Pence, an ally of the pro-mass immigration, and pro-Constitutional Convention GOP mega-donors, the Koch brothers.  Charles Koch is now attempting to get Republicans to work together with Democrats to get amnesty passed for the millions of illegal aliens in America.

And if you still think Koch organizations are conservative, the Charles Koch Foundation has partnered with Soros’s Open Society Foundations  to launch a foreign policy think tank.

Conclusion

For all his piety, Pence doesn’t seem to be bothered by the devils who finance him.

Wikipedia Co-founder SLAMS site’s far-left bias, its ‘neutrality long gone,’ ‘it’s is a joke’

Wikipedia is a far-left propaganda resource and has been for years. We have long known, and railed to no avail. Wikipedia is a joke and no one with a measure of integrity and/or scholarship goes near it.

Wikipedia is but one cog in an immense propaganda machine inundating the body politic with lies and disinformation – like all totalitarianism regimes.

  • He said: ‘The days of Wikipedia’s robust commitment to neutrality are long gone’
  • Sanger said he is now working on a new ‘Encyclosphere’ project but said he has hope Wikipedia could be ‘fixed’
  • His own Wikipedia page documents a long history of criticism against the site he co-founded

Co-founder says Wikipedia’s neutrality ‘long gone,’ cites leftist bias

“And then when the rest of the media and tech became insanely far left, Wikipedia naturally went along with the trend,” he tweeted.

By: Dave Boyer – Washington Examiner, February 21, 2021:

The Fox analysis cited the two main pages for “Socialism” and “Communism” that span 28,000 words but lack any discussion of the genocides committed by socialist and communist regimes, in which tens of millions of people were murdered and starved.

“The omission of large-scale mass murder, slave labor, and man-made famines is negligent and deeply misleading,” economics professor Bryan Caplan, who has studied the history of communism, told Fox News.

In a blog post, Mr. Sanger said examples of bias on Wikipedia “have become embarrassingly easy to find,” pointing to the entries for former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump.

“The Barack Obama article completely fails to mention many well-known scandals: Benghazi, the IRS scandal, the AP phone records scandal, and Fast and Furious, to say nothing of Solyndra or the Hillary Clinton email server scandal — or, of course, the developing ‘Obamagate’ story in which Obama was personally involved in surveilling Donald Trump,” Mr. Sanger posted in May 2020. “A fair article about a major political figure certainly must include the bad with the good.”

He said the entry about Mr. Trump shows that Wikipedia’s neutrality “is a joke.”

“Just for example, there are 5,224 none-too-flattering words in the ‘Presidency’ section,” he wrote. “By contrast, the following ‘Public Profile’ (which the Obama article entirely lacks), ‘Investigations,’ and ‘Impeachment’ sections are unrelentingly negative, and together add up to some 4,545 words — in other words, the controversy sections are almost as long as the sections about his presidency.”

He said Wikipedia frequently asserts “in its own voice, that many of Trump’s statements are ‘false.’ Well, perhaps they are. But even if they are, it is not exactly neutral for an encyclopedia article to say so, especially without attribution.”

The Wikimedia Foundation said in a statement that Wikipedia “is a living, breathing project, and is always evolving just as our shared understanding of a topic does.” It said the foundation does not directly control the content on the site, which is written by volunteer editors.

The spokesperson also pointed to a Harvard study that “shows how the more people edit an article, the more neutral it becomes,” Fox News reported.

Daily Mail:

His own Wikipedia page documents a long history of criticism against the site he co-founded.

Sanger’s woes with the company were first revealed in 2004 when he wrote an article for the website Kuro5hin.

Sanger’s article claimed that Wikipedia, which calls itself ‘the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit,’ is not perceived as credible by librarians and academics because it lacks a formal review process and is ‘anti-elitist.’

In 2007, Sanger criticized Wikipedia again after the launch of Citizendium, another wiki-based encyclopedia he created to address the ‘flaws’ with Wikipedia.

Sanger said Wikipedia was ‘broken beyond repair’ and had ‘a whole series of scandals’ from ‘serious management problems’ to ‘frequently unreliable content,’ according to IT News.

The techie again distanced himself from Wikipedia in September 2009 when he claimed: ‘I thought that the project would never have the amount of credibility it could have if it were not somehow more open and welcoming to experts.’

‘The other problem was the community had essentially been taken over by trolls to a great extent. That was a real problem, and Jimmy Wales absolutely refused to do anything about it,’ Sanger told Internet Revolution.

Sanger sent a letter to the FBI in April 2010 claiming that Wikimedia Commons was hosting child pornography, according to a BBC article.

‘I think Wikipedia never solved the problem of how to organize itself in a way that didn’t lead to mob rule,’ Sanger said in an interview with Vice in November 2015.

‘People that I would say are trolls sort of took over. The inmates started running the asylum.’

In the Vice interview, Sanger equated the alleged trolls that took over the platform with modern-day social justice warriors.

He again called Wikipedia ‘a broken system’ in a May 2019 interview with 150Sec, his page noted. He said the leaders did not ‘come up with a good solution’ ‘to stop bad actors from ruining the project.

Sanger described Wikipedia as ‘badly biased’ in a May 2020 blog post in which he claimed the site no longer had an effective neutrality policy.

‘The notion that we should avoid “false balance” is directly contradictory to the original neutrality policy. As a result, even as journalists turn to opinion and activism, Wikipedia now touts controversial points of view on politics, religion, and science,’ he wrote.

Justice Thomas: Supreme Court REFUSAL to Hear Pennsylvania Election Cases Is ‘INEXPLICABLE’

The last honest man …….

Justice Thomas: SCOTUS Refusal to Hear Pennsylvania Election Cases Is ‘Inexplicable’

The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 to reject the review of two 2020 Pennsylvania presidential election cases Monday, but Justices Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Clarence Thomas believe they should have been given hearings.

By Katie Pavlich, Town Hall, February 22, 2021:

https://twitter.com/disclosetv/status/1363861459193786374?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1363861459193786374%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fgellerreport.com%2F2021%2F02%2Fjustice-thomas-supreme-court-refusal-to-hear-pennsylvania-election-cases-is-inexplicable.html%2F

In his dissent Justice Thomas argued mass mail-in voting, which was conducted in Pennsylvania for the first time ahead of the 2020 presidential election in November, combined with election rules being rewritten last minute, makes the process prone to fraud and mistrust.

“The Constitution gives to each state legislature authority to determine the ‘Manner’ of federal elections…Yet both before and after the 2020 election, nonlegislative officials in various States took it upon themselves to set the rules instead. As a result, we received an unusually high number of petitions and emer- gency applications contesting those changes. The petitions here present a clear example. The Pennsylvania Legislature established an unambiguous deadline for receiving mail-in ballots: 8 p.m. on election day,” Thomas wrote.  “Dissatisfied, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court extended that deadline by three days. The court also ordered officials to count ballots received by the new deadline even if there was no evi- dence—such as a postmark—that the ballots were mailed by election day. That decision to rewrite the rules seems to have affected too few ballots to change the outcome of any federal election. But that may not be the case in the future. These cases provide us with an ideal opportunity to address just what authority nonlegislative officials have to set elec- tion rules, and to do so well before the next election cycle. The refusal to do so is inexplicable.”

“One wonders what this Court waits for. We failed to settle this dispute before the election, and thus provide clear rules. Now we again fail to provide clear rules for future elections. The decision to leave election law hidden beneath a shroud of doubt is baffling. By doing nothing, we invite further confusion and erosion of voter confidence. Our fellow citizens deserve better and expect more of us,” he continued.

SICK: Wuhan Lab Eligible To Receive U.S. Taxpayer Funding Through 2024

Rewarding the CCP for the overthrow of “We the People” using Chinese bio-weaponry developed in Wuhan.

Wuhan Lab Eligible To Receive US Taxpayer Funding Through 2024

  • The Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) is authorized to receive taxpayer funding for animal research through January 2024, according to the National Institute of Health.
  • The WIV received $600,000 in taxpayer funds between 2014 and 2019 through the nonprofit group EcoHealth Alliance to study bat-based coronaviruses.
  • The president of EcoHealth Alliance, Peter Daszak, was the sole U.S. member in the World Health Organization delegation that investigated the origins of COVID-19 in China.
  • Daszak said the White House should blindly accept the WHO’s determination that it’s highly unlikely that COVID-19 could have unintentionally leaked from the WIV.

By: Daily Caller Foundation, February 21, 2021:

The Wuhan Institute of Virology is authorized to receive taxpayer funding for animal research until January 2024, the National Institute of Health told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The WIV is at the center of widespread speculation that COVID-19 could have entered the human population in China due to an accidental lab leak. Researchers at the lab were studying bat-based coronaviruses prior to the outbreak, a project partially backed by $600,000 in U.S. taxpayer funds routed to the lab through the nonprofit group EcoHealth Alliance.

The president of EcoHealth Alliance, Peter Daszak, was the sole U.S. member of the World Health Organization delegation that investigated the origins of the pandemic on the ground in China in January and February. While the WHO delegation has yet to release a report on their findings, Daszak said the White House should blindly accept their conclusion that it’s highly unlikely the virus could have leaked from the WIV.

Daszak also said American intelligence, which indicates researchers at the WIV became infected with COVID-like symptoms before the first known cases in December 2019, shouldn’t be trusted.

EcoHealth Alliance’s work researching bat-based coronaviruses in China was funded by a $3.7 million grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in 2014, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The grant was terminated by the National Institutes of Health in April amid criticism over EcoHealth Alliance’s relationship with the WIV. The NIH said in a letter the nonprofit’s work in China did not align with “program goals and agency priorities.”

The NIH told EcoHealth Alliance in July it would restore the grant if it met certain conditions, one of which was to arrange for an independent team to investigate the WIV to determine if it had possession of the SARS-COV-2 virus prior to the first known cases in December 2019.

Daszak told NPR that the NIH’s conditions were “preposterous.”

“I’m not trained as a private detective,” Daszak said. “It’s not really my job to do that.” (RELATED: US Scientist With Close Ties To Wuhan Lab Discussed Manipulating Bat-Based Coronaviruses Just Weeks Before Outbreak)

However, the WIV still has an active Foreign Assurance on file with the NIH Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare, which enables it to continue receiving taxpayer funds to engage in animal research, according to the NIH Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare.

A NIH spokeswoman told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the WIV’s Foreign Assurance was approved on Jan. 9, 2019, and is currently set to expire on Jan. 31, 2024.

The spokeswoman did not confirm whether the WIV is currently receiving direct or indirect taxpayer funding for research activities involving animals. EcoHealth Alliance’s last known subgrant to the WIV was in May 2019, according to USASpending.Gov.

CALIFORNIA: Muslim migrant indicted for attempting to provide financial support for jihad terror group

He is a Russian national. Was he vetted when he came to the United States? Of course not — not in any effective way, anyway. That would have been “Islamophobic.”

CBS13, February 19, 2021 (thanks to Henry):

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A Sacramento man is accused of attempting to provide financial support to a foreign terrorist organization, the United States Department of Justice announced on Friday.

VIDEO: The Vortex — The Material World. Matter matters — a lot more than most people realize.

TRANSCRIPT

There is an extremely important point about the spiritual war raging all about us right now, and it is this: It occurs in the material world. What happens on earth matters, or, as St. Thomas Aquinas puts it, matter matters.

The problem with so many people in this spiritual war is that they play it out as if it is only spiritual and just say, “Whatever happens, happens. I’ll just pray.” Catholics of such mind retreat into piety, fooling themselves that faith without corresponding works is a perfectly fine, holy approach.

Nothing could be less Catholic. That rationale is for cowards. But over in the Protestant world, a similar mentality occurs: It’s called “quietism,” and it’s the notion that the material world doesn’t really matter — all you have to do is just pray and remain quiet.

In fact, this entire thought process actually began and flows out of a flawed understanding of Scripture and theology, going back centuries in Protestantism. Catholic sacramental theology embraces both matter and spirit; it does not reject one in favor of the other.

And because the seven sacraments have very tangible, material aspects to them, Protestantism, with its core anti-material mentality, rejects some or even all of them, dismissing God’s saving actions through matter in time and space. Think about this: Loads of Protestants think the only thing you have to do to achieve salvation is simply make some spiritual act of faith and, from there on out, everything is cool.

You’re saved regardless of your actions. Well, to drive home our point, those actions always occur in the material world, whether it’s adultery, lying, robbing a bank, refusing to vote or rationalizing going and voting for a child killer, it’s always expressed in the material reality.

We use our bodies, the same bodies that will be resurrected on the last day and reunited to our souls. Because of that resurrection of the material body, it is insufficient to think that somehow your soul can be pure even though it used your body to commit sins. And regardless of all that, you and your sinful body just get to waltz into Heaven because at some moment 40 years earlier, you blurted out at some random altar call “The Lord Jesus is my Savior,” and then went about sinning with that body of yours in the material world, thinking all your sins are somehow “covered”?

Well, what about your adding to the blotting out of the goodness of the material world with your body? Doesn’t that matter? What kind of a crazy, disordered theology is that?

Jesse Romero is our guest this week on Church Militant’s Mic’d Up, where we get into a deep discussion about the consequences in the political and moral order of disregarding the material reality we live in.

It’s a fascinating discussion about how all this plays out in our day-to-day lives, how just one little incorrect (and perhaps innocent) misunderstanding of theology can have a massive impact in the material order, which means politics, laws and how you are allowed to live your daily life.

So please join us and watch this week’s Mic’d Up, and share it with your friends. It’s a Church Militant Premium show, which means you have to have a Premium account, but that’s only $10 a month.

However, that same Premium account that allows you to view Mic’d Up also allows you to view thousands of other episodes of multiple Premium programs touching on a vast array of theological topics for your enrichment — which is especially helpful in this time of spiritual war.

Conservatives Need to Start Taking No Prisoners and Claiming Scalps

One reason conservatives never saw a culture war they couldn’t lose is that they insist on using Queensberry rules, even as the Left fights no-holds-barred. Consider, for example, two scenarios.

When leftists discover someone “committing conservatism” — such as when former Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich was found to have donated $1,000 to California’s Proposition 8 — they accept nothing less than the person’s termination. In fact, they never want him to work again. Ergo “cancel culture.”

When leftists effect something truly outrageous, such as the anti-white “Deep Equity” school curriculum being implemented nationwide, the reaction is different. Conservatives may fight back against it as they did with Deep Equity in Chandler, Arizona, but they’re generally satisfied if the social engineering is abandoned. They don’t go for blood. In fact, so often have I heard prominent conservative figures say in such a situation, “Look, I don’t want anyone fired.”

Well, I do.

I say this not with just a vindictive spirit. Liberals make sure to administer a coup de grâce generally driven by anger and hatred, emotions epitomizing them. Yet slightly more thoughtful leftists may have an additional reason and understand something: Culture wars are zero-sum games. And winning a battle but leaving your adversary in place to fight another day is no recipe for victory.

With respect to school indoctrination, consider: If you caught a teacher trying to molest your child, would you be satisfied with an apology and continue leaving your kid in his care?

Why should it be any different when a teacher visits upon your child the rape of mind, heart and soul?

The point apparently missed is that in such a situation, the problem is not that the educator tried to effect a given type of toxic indoctrination.

It’s that he’s the kind of person who would effect toxic indoctrination.

This won’t change just because you successfully mitigate an obvious symptom of his moral disease. He’s still infected; he still is what he is. And while I’m no fan of Maya Angelou, some of her words should be heeded here: “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”

“I remember first hearing these words in my early twenties. I heard them,” she continued. “I just didn’t follow them. Hence, I brought myself a whole lot of painful lessons and needless suffering because I always wanted to give people a second chance, and a third, and a fourth….”

Implementing a planned program of leftist insanity isn’t just a momentary lapse in judgment such as an angry outburst, regretted soon afterwards, that resulted in calling a child a derogatory name. It bespeaks of a twisted world view, of a lack of virtue. And when you identify a cancerous tumor, you excise it; you don’t leave it in place so it can metastasize further and affect the healthy tissue around it.

A teacher imbued with leftism will corrupt everything he touches, whether he wants to or not. For he cannot help being what he is. As with virtues, vices are caught more than they’re taught. It’s what’s assumed that’s learned best, and an educator’s basic assumptions will always come through to his students one way or another.

This said, a left-wing teacher will usually seek to intentionally indoctrinate his charges even after being caught with his ideological pants down. He’ll just be more subtle about it.

If my prescription still sounds harsh, know that there’s a difference between being virtuous and being a “nice” guy — and that nice guys finish last. I’d also implore conservatives to stop being conservative, as in being defensive, as in conserving our now leftism-forged status quo.

I’d further say, look around you. Do you not realize that our culture is being undone root and branch? Have you not noticed the statues coming down, the traditions torn up, the names of Founders and other historical heroes being stripped from buildings, the history being rewritten, and the morality being turned on its head? Do you not see that we’re facing our own Year Zero?

This is happening, too, partially because of the educational indoctrination of the past many decades, which conservatives didn’t effectively combat because, in part (though there were other reasons), they “didn’t want to see anyone lose his job.”

But conservatives, one might hope, would understand the importance of accountability. In fact, we find it maddening, and complain, when we see conservatives crucified for saying “boo” (e.g., Roger Stone) while left-wing criminals such as John Brennan and Jim Comey are allowed to skate. Yet are we doing any better?

A threat of merely having to stop your social engineering (perhaps only temporarily) if it’s discovered is no threat at all. Loss of employment, however, sends a message. And don’t confuse a soft head with a soft heart. It matters little here that a propagandizing ex-teacher may have trouble paying the rent; it matters much that our culture is being rent stem to stern.

The accountability being prescribed here should, of course, be applied beyond education and to all our institutions, from government bureaucracies to film studios. But education matters because as the apocryphal saying warns, “The teaching in the schools today will become the politics of tomorrow.”

“Tomorrow” is now because yesterday too many of us were distracted, lukewarm, inattentive, and complacent — and too busy being “nice guys.”

Really, we need to become as “intolerant” as leftists accuse us of being and 10 percent as intolerant they are.

As the late Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen put it in 1931, “America, it is said, is suffering from intolerance — it is not. It is suffering from tolerance. Tolerance of right and wrong, truth and error, virtue and evil, Christ and chaos. Our country is not nearly so overrun with the bigoted as it is overrun with the broadminded.”

Tolerance of evil is evil itself. Go Roman, conservative brethren, or go home.

Three More Voices Silenced by Twitter

As reported in American Greatness, the New York Post, and elsewhere, on February 7, “the sanctimonious and hypocritical censors of Twitter came for Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft, radio host Wayne Allyn Root, and freedom activist Pamela Geller.”

Geller can still be found on her own website, The Geller Report, on Facebook, as well as on YouTube and Instagram. But for how long?

Jim Hoft still has his website, The Gateway Pundit, and can still be found on FacebookInstagram, and the durable Gab. Along with being banned from Twitter, Hoft’s Parler account went down with the platform. What’s next?

As for Wayne Allyn Root, he can still be found on Newsmax, as well as on his own website, along with FacebookYouTube, and LinkedIn.

What were the thought crimes committed by these three? Apparently they are willing to “report and highlight the many irregularities and unanswered questions surrounding the 2020 presidential election.”

For that, they are banished from Twitter, and one may expect if they keep it up they’ll be banned from other platforms.

There’s no guarantee the truth, or, equally important, sincere dissent that may or may not be entirely accurate, will survive online. The crackdown has just begun. But “irregularities and unanswered questions” about the November presidential election are not going away. This recent Winston84 newsflash has links to some of the most informative, most suppressed analyses.

Anybody who has a strong opinion on the election, particularly if they’re convinced that fraud could not possibly have been a factor in the outcome, should read these reports. Maybe they don’t constitute proof, but at the least they identify areas where voter integrity must be restored, or it really won’t matter any more who runs for office in the future, or what voters want.

Meanwhile, we have Winston84 profiles for all three of Twitter’s latest victims, Pamela GellerWayne Allen Root, and Jim Hoft, where you can find links to the many platforms where they’re still active, as well as broken links to the platforms where they’ve been banned.

Black Conservatives Vie to Replace California’s Governor Newsom

Anyone who thinks the conservative movement isn’t inclusive is not paying attention. When it comes to candidates conservatives will support, the only thing that matters is the ideas and principles they’ll fight for. Two young black conservatives who are running for California governor exemplify this fact, because the ideas they’re promoting are as interesting, if not more interesting, than anything coming from their more established conservative competitors.

Errol Webber, a 34 year old immigrant from Jamaica, now living in Los Angeles, has been producing documentary and narrative films since he was a teenager. His acclaimed documentary “American Promise” chronicles the struggles parents go through to assert their right to school choice for their children.

Webber’s positions on the issues are staunchly conservative, including supporting school choice, defending “religious, medical and economic freedoms,” investing in vocational education, increasing competition in medicine and reducing taxes and regulations.

Major Williams, a 41 year old resident of Pasadena, made a name for himself in 2020 by running for mayor of that city. He came in third place with 8.4 percent and forced the top candidates into a runoff. His gubernatorial campaign website reveals a candidate that has the courage to take positions that more established candidates would never dare.

In particular, Williams calls for expanding California’s oil and gas drilling in order to increase tax revenues, create high paying jobs, and – crucially – offset California’s hypocritical and damaging reliance on foreign oil, much of it imported from Venezuela. Williams is a budget hawk, a supporter of the 2nd amendment, and favors deregulation. His positions on the issues are bold, thoughtful, and thoroughly conservative.

If proponents of the Newsom recall succeed in forcing a special election, expect to see Williams and Webber’s names on the ballot. Their campaigns are going to surprise a lot of people, because they both have reach on social media. Williams has 43,000 followers on Facebook, over 172,000 on Instagram. Webber has nearly 129,000 followers on Twitter.

California’s conservatives can learn a lot from these candidates. For starters, the courage to take positions that are right for California, even if they’re wrong for the special interests that run California. We wish both of them well.

Facebook Stomps On Small Publishers

This is personal. Facebook’s bullyboy tactics could crush MercatorNet.

Facebook unfriended all of Australia last week. Locked in a battle with the Federal government over legislation which would force it to pay for links to news publications, it wiped Australian news sources from viewer’s feeds.

So when you checked your Facebook feed on February 18, you didn’t see anything from The Australian, The Guardian, the Sydney Morning Herald, the Herald Sun, Daily Telegraph or, initially, the Bureau of Meteorology, Western Australia’s Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Western Sydney Health, South Australia Health, various state health services and some state Governments. This is in the middle of the fire season and a Covid-19 pandemic, for which many people rely on Facebook for updates.

You also didn’t see anything from MercatorNet or BioEdge, our related publication about bioethical issues. They’re news sources; they’re published in Australia; and they’re cancelled.

Basically, Facebook has screwed us.

Websites like MercatorNet grow when readers share links to stories that they like. There are other ways to achieve this, but the most powerful and efficient one is through Facebook. MercatorNet’s marketing plan is based on Facebook. And now Facebook has stomped on us like Godzilla squashing an ant. Do not ask me what I think of Mark Zuckerberg.

Let me try to be objective for a moment. What are the issues behind Facebook’s astonishing decision?

Traditional news media are in danger of extinction. Everywhere newspapers are losing circulation to internet news sources. Nearly 1,800 newspapers closed in the United States between 2004 and 2018, including more than 60 dailies and 1,700 weeklies.

Between them, Google and Facebook have sucked up 81 percent of online advertising in Australia. News media only have about 19 percent.

The media companies can only fight back with government help. In Australia they have proposed a statutory media bargaining code and the government, led by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, is backing it to the hilt. The idea is that Google and Facebook will be forced to compensate the media companies for using the news that they display. Google has agreed; Facebook gave the Australian Government the finger.

Facebook acknowledges that news in a Facebook feed “enriches” a user’s experience. But it claims that it adds almost no commercial value. It also says that fewer than 5 percent of clicks on Facebook come from news stories. Why should it be forced to pay for giving a free platform to news organisations? The new law, it says, “fundamentally misunderstands the relationship” between its platform and publishers who use it to share news content.” (Translation: Facebook is a for-profit company, not a goddam charity.)

Furthermore, as they say, “the internet wants to be free”. The internet will be broken if users have to pay for links. Other countries, particularly in Europe, are waiting to see what happens in Australia. So Facebook has to make a stand here or it will be forced to strike deals with traditional media companies everywhere.

You know what? I sympathise with Facebook’s frustration. Behind the Australian government’s proposal is Rupert Murdoch’s News Ltd, which owns more than half of the country’s newspaper market. Zuckerberg probably feels that Rupert Murdoch is using the Australian government to shake him down to subsidize a dying industry. He’s probably right.

Former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, who loathes Murdoch, recently tweeted: “You cannot argue with a straight face that Zuckerberg has a monopoly on the internet, while ignoring the objective reality that Murdoch has a monopoly in print. The answer is to subject both companies to a Royal Commission, not side with one billionaire against the other.”

But leave that for another day.

Today’s issue is that Facebook is using raw commercial power to blackmail a sovereign nation. It is displaying contempt for the government and for its users in Australia. In its battle to stay unregulated, it is creating immense collateral damage.

The fact that Zuckerberg fails to face up to is that Facebook has become a quasi-public utility and now it is abusing its monopoly power. World-wide, it has 2.6 billion users. It is the principal source of news for many of those readers. Without news in their Facebook feed, democracy dies in the hearts of those users. If they don’t read MercatorNet (or The Australian) in their feed, they’re not going to search out the websites. They’re going to look at more cat videos.

Facebook’s chess game displays not just arrogance, but staggering immaturity. Commercial companies serve the public and have to act in a socially responsible way. Facebook seems to be channeling the bullyboy capitalism of the United Fruit Company.

As the Australia Institute’s Centre for Responsible Technology, pointed out: “The social network is destroying its social license to operate. Facebook actions mean the company’s failures in privacy, disinformation, and data protection will require a bigger push for stronger government regulation.”

Sure, Facebook has a case. As Salvatore Babones writes in Foreign Policy, “If Australians don’t want to pay for news about their own country, it’s hardly the responsibility of foreign companies to foot the bill for them.”

But that doesn’t excuse its reckless, kick-sand-in-your-face tactics. In this battle of monsters, it’s crushing innocent bystanders – like MercatorNet.

WOKE COKE: Racist Coca-Cola’s New Slogan “BE LESS WHITE”

Every white Coca-Cola employee, in fact every employee who opposes hate and racism)  should resign. Coke’s racist polices echo the Nuremberg Laws – but for whites.

Coca-Cola promotes anti-white rhetoric, invites backlash

The soda and beverage giant, criticised for allegedly ‘discriminating against’ its employees, was roasted online by social media users.

By: WION Washington, : Feb 20, 2021:

Coca-Cola Co is facing major backlash after promoting anti-white rhetoric, including demands that they “try to be less white.”

Karlyn Borysenko, an organizational psychologist and an activist against critical race theory indoctrination shared images of the training materials from a whistleblower at Coca-Cola who received an email from management announcing the course on “whiteness, white fragility” and “racial justice.”

A spokesperson from Coca-Cola responded to the images on the social networking platform Twitter.

“The video circulating on social media is from a publicly available LinkedIn Learning series and is not a focus of our company’s curriculum,” the spokesperson said, but added that the course is “part of a learning plan to help build an inclusive workplace.”

Conservative author and Blexit founder Candace Owens also reacted to the allegations on Twitter.

The soda and beverage giant, criticised for allegedly “discriminating against” its employees, was roasted online by social media users.

The Atlanta, Georgia-based firm will sell its popular sodas in bottles made from 100% recycled plastic material in the United States, the beverage maker said on Tuesday, in a major shift to combat plastic waste and reduce its carbon footprint.

RINO group seeks to halt the advance of pro-Trump candidates for 2022 midterm elections

The group is called Republican Main Street Partnership. They want to marginalize pro-Trump candidates for the 2022 midterm elections, in favor of useless Romney like Republican’s who can’t win. It’s the Lincoln Project light. Stay away. Republican Party Chairwomen Ronna McDaniel must denounce these anti-Trump hate groups.

Sounds like another pedo group like the Lincoln Project.

‘Centrist’ GOP group promises $25M to win back Congress

By Washington Examiner, February 20, 2021

The centrist Republican Main Street Partnership plans to invest $25 million in swing House districts in 2022 to help the GOP recapture Congress and halt the advance of conservative provocateurs loyal to former President Donald Trump.

Believing the former is impossible without the latter, the group is focused on electing pragmatic, fiscal conservatives in suburban strongholds that shifted blue under Trump, with an emphasis on wooing female voters. The partnership will spend against Democratic incumbents but also play in Republican primaries in open seats, using proprietary polling and focus group data to dictate strategy, messaging, and which districts are targeted.

Sarah Chamberlain, leader of the Republican Main Street Partnership, argued Republicans win elections that are contrasts in policy, pointing to the dozen House seats the GOP flipped in 2020. Even Trump’s agenda, she said, was generally popular. What causes the party trouble, what cost Trump the White House and Republicans the Senate, is the former president’s polarizing personality and the controversial candidates who mimic him.

“What happened in this last election cycle, they voted against a man they didn’t like,” Chamberlain said Friday in an interview. “They didn’t vote against his policies; they voted against his tweet messages.”

Chamberlain, president and CEO of the Republican Main Street Partnership, is being advised by Greg Walden, a former two-term chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee who represented Eastern Oregon in the House for 20 years before retiring in January.

The partnership has been around for nearly a quarter-century and has generally been known as the Beltway group that backs “moderate” Republicans in congressional elections, putting it opposite the handful of prominent GOP-aligned organizations that tries to elevate staunch conservatives. Chamberlain said the group has evolved, saying it is focused on reviving GOP fortunes in the suburbs and describing the kind of Republican it supports as center-right and fiscally conservative.

“I hate the word ‘moderate,’” she said. “But we are willing to work across the aisle.”

In the 2020 election cycle, the Republican Main Street Partnership spent $8 million on congressional races. Some of that cash was invested in Republican primary contests, including in Iowa’s 4th Congressional District, where the partnership backed the candidate challenging incumbent Steve King. The group also put resources into open-seat GOP primaries in Oregon’s 2nd Congressional District and Michigan’s 10th, with both partnership-backed candidates winning their respective nominations and advancing to Congress.

In the 2022 midterm elections, the group plans to triple what it spent the previous two years, with much of the investment channeled through its affiliated super PAC: Defending Main Street. In addition to House races, the partnership plans to expand into Senate contests, beginning with Sen. Todd Young, who is up for reelection in Indiana and is one of 52 Republicans on Capitol Hill who have been backed by the group over the years.

All of that work will be supported by data gleaned from the partnership’s homegrown roster of “a few thousand” mostly suburban voters who live in key districts across the country. They have agreed to participate in polling the group conducts on a monthly basis and join focus groups. The partnership also deploys field staff to knock on doors and interview voters directly. All of that information shapes advertising through television, digital platforms, and direct mail.

The Republican Main Street Partnership conducted an autopsy of the 2020 campaign.
