California: Muslim stabbed four ‘in the name of Allah,’ planned to read Qur’an until cops arrived, then shoot them

The Qur’an? Didn’t Faisal Mohammad know that, as Pope Francis has told us, “authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence”?

Despite the fact that Mohammad “was found to have an image of the ISIS flag, a handwritten manifesto with instructions on how to behead someone, and reminders to pray to Allah,” everyone who participated was sure that his stabbings had something to do with “images of masculinity” and nothing to do with Islam, and that only “Islamophobes” thought otherwise. This is no surprise. The University of California Merced is no different from any other campus all over the country: full of indoctrinated bots who have been thoroughly imbued with the notion that when Islamic jihadists attack us, it is our fault.

“FBI releases 2015 attack plan of radicalized California university student who stabbed 4 on campus,” Associated Press, November 18, 2020 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

MERCED, Calif. – A troubled California university freshman who burst into a classroom in 2015, stabbing four people before police shot him dead, planned to praise Allah while slitting the throats of classmates and use a gun taken from an ambushed officer to kill more, according to records released by the FBI.

Authorities determined that Faisal Mohammad, an 18-year-old freshman at the University of California, Merced had no connections to organized hate or terror groups and no past behavior to suggest violence.

Still, records released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation to the Daily Beast publication include a chilling, handwritten 31-step plan for the Nov. 4 attack with names of people to target.

The plan included putting on a balaclava at 7:45 a.m. and saying “in the name of Allah” before stepping into his classroom and ordering students to use zip-ties he provided to bind their hands.

Mohammad also planned to make a fake 911 distress call to report a suicidal guy [sic; this is how they write at AP these days] and wait for police outside the classroom before ambushing from behind “and slit calmly yet forcefully one of the officers with guns.”

He planned to take a gun from an officer and kill classmates before making another fake distress call to 911 to report the shootings. Step 26 was to read the Quran until he heard sirens, and then “take calm shot after shot” with the gun as authorities arrive….

…investigators said the perpetrators were influenced by the Islamic State group, but not directly connected to it. Families in both cases said they had no clue of their relatives’ radicalization.

Of course not!

Trump is Right: Our Exit from Afghanistan is Long Overdue

President Trump is withdrawing a significant number of troops from Afghanistan, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is livid. According to AP, McConnell “warned against a potentially ‘humiliating’ pullout from Afghanistan that he said would be worse than President Barack Obama’s 2011 withdrawal from Iraq and reminiscent of the U.S. departure from Saigon in 1975.” Not to be outdone, Rep. Michael McCaul, Republican leader on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, insisted: “We need to ensure a residual force is maintained for the foreseeable future to protect U.S. national and homeland security interests and to help secure peace for Afghanistan.” But McConnell and McCaul are advocating for a failed policy. It is long past time to leave Afghanistan.

In his State of the Union address on February 5, 2019, President Trump stated: “As a candidate for President, I pledged a new approach. Great nations do not fight endless wars.” Epitomizing the need to do this was what happened when Trump first moved to end America’s longest endless war, the war in Afghanistan, with a treaty with the group that the U.S. entered Afghanistan in order to topple, the Taliban, in February 2020. The ink was still fresh on the signed document when the Taliban launched a new attack against Afghan government forces, killing twenty Afghan soldiers and police officers.

The attack was a fitting symbol of the fruitlessness of these endless wars and the bankruptcy of the assumptions and policies that had led to their being waged.

After all these years, we have little to show for all our efforts in the nation that has been ominously dubbed the “graveyard of empires.” The U.S. has sacrificed the lives of numerous heroic service members and squandered trillions for nearly two decades in the fond hope that it could remake Afghanistan into a stable, Western-style republic that would respect the human rights of all its citizens. That’s still the plan, as far as the architects of our intervention are concerned: One foreign policy establishment wonk counseled patience, saying that Afghanistan “is not going to become Switzerland overnight,” a fact that is as obvious as Joe Biden’s dementia.

Great. So we know now after almost twenty years that it isn’t going to happen overnight, but how long exactly is it going to take? To that question the advocates of endless intervention have no definite answer. Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld said in late 2019: “We are never going to get the U.S. military out of Afghanistan unless we take care to see that there is something going on that will provide the stability that will be necessary for us to leave.”

All right, but what’s it going to take? Do Rumsfeld, McConnell, and McCaul really think that after nearly twenty years, one more year, or five more years, or ten more years, will do the job?

Afghanistan will never be a Western-style republic and will likely never be free of the Taliban without a massive transformation of Afghan society, no matter how long we stay, and such a transformation is not on the horizon. This was clear relatively early in the conflict, but the obviousness of this fact did not make successive Republican and Democratic administrations rethink the wisdom of being there.

And so after all this American expenditure of personnel, money, and materiel, there is absolutely no doubt that once we leave, the Taliban will make gains and may even regain control of the Afghan government.

Did that mean that America had to keep troops there for fifty years? A hundred years? Should we just make Afghanistan the fifty-first state and seal our commitment there forever? Or should the U.S. instead focus on what is best for America in Afghanistan, working to contain the jihad there and to ensure that the Taliban does not and cannot engage in international jihad terror activity, while otherwise leaving the Afghans to their own devices?

America’s tragic misadventure in Afghanistan makes it clear that a new foreign policy strategy is urgently needed, and that the ideas and assumptions that have governed U.S. foreign policy for nearly a century needed to be consigned to the dustbin of history. President Trump had proposed to do that. Now we are likely to see instead a retrenchment of the forces that made the tragedy of two decades of war in Afghanistan happen in the first place. President Biden, or President Harris, or President Pelosi, or whatever horror show we may be facing next, could send the troops that Trump withdraws right back into the belly of the beast.

After all, as Trump said last September, “the top people in the Pentagon…want to do nothing but fight wars so that all of those wonderful companies that make the bombs and make the planes and make everything else stay happy. But we’re getting out of the endless wars, you know how we’re doing.” He is getting us out. Others, wanting to keep the Masters of War happy, may get us right back in.

Would AOC Blacklist 73 Million Americans?

Should a qualified employee’s political views determine whether he gets—or keeps—a job? For a growing number of Americans, they already do. As I wrote in an article published recently at American Greatness:

[Last month] a Pennsylvania police chief was forced to retire by his “progressive mayor” after 26 years on the job. His offense? The chief’s wife posted a Facebook message supporting President Donald Trump.

Lancaster Police Chief Jarrad Berkihiser might be the latest victim of cancel culture, but he won’t be the last.

The article was written before the 2020 election. Since then the female African-American police chief of Portsmouth, Virginia, lost her job. The town’s progressive leadership fired Angela Greene after she pressed charges against rioters who decapitated and pulled down a Confederate statue, striking a middle-aged black man in the head. The injury left the man temporarily comatose, caused him to flatline twice as his brain swelled dangerously, and required months of therapy to teach him to walk and talk again. City officials fired Greene on Monday morning, a little more than two months after placing her on paid leave. She said she plans to sue.

Greene will have company in the unemployment line, and not merely because of another round of proposed COVID-19 lockdowns or impending minimum wage hikes. A number of political figures have in effect declared a Bush Doctrine against the Trump administration: They will make no distinction between the 45th president and those who “enable” him. For instance, former Clinton administration Treasury Secretary Robert Reich proposed a “Truth and Reconciliation Commission” to discover the names of anyone who helped “enable” the Trump administration.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., tweeted support of the Trump Accountability Project, an effort to blacklist “Trump sycophants” to stifle their employment prospects. (After the blacklist backlash, TAP announced last Thursday that “this project will no longer be active.”)

“Employers considering them should know there are consequences for hiring anyone who helped Trump attack American values,” said former Obama campaign spokesman Hari Sevugan, threatening not only Republicans but those who hire Republicans.

Depending on how broadly one wants to define “helped,” this description could encompass 73 million Americans. It could go well beyond Trump administration alumni to include anyone insufficiently supportive of the Great Awokening, and perhaps the whole point is to instill the maximum level of fear in the greatest number of political apostates.

This is alarming. Americans of all political backgrounds should seek to reverse this lamentable trend for several reasons.

First, threatening to lock someone out of “polite society” over run-of-the-mill political differences normalizes discrimination. While some find it more acceptable to discriminate against people based on their beliefs rather than immutable factors such as ethnicity, sex, or gender identity, legitimizing employment bias against any group opens the possibility of bias against every group. Worse, researchers have found that Americans already indulge political animosity “to a degree that exceeds discrimination based on race.”

Second, employment bias denies people the opportunity to share their God-given gifts and talents with others. It deprives their families of an adequate livelihood, entirely out of spite.

But discrimination does not simply hurt those who are discriminated against. It also violates the bigot’s self-interest. Viewpoint discrimination in the workplace denies a firm the most productive talent on the basis of often-irrational biases. That lowers the office’s efficiency, productivity, and ingenuity.

Two researchers, Shanto Iyengar and Sean Westwood, bore this out by conducting an experiment that allowed participants to award scholarships to either the most qualified applicant or a student who shared the same political views. When it came to a time for choosing, they wrote, “partisanship simply trumped academic excellence.” Discriminating against the best and the brightest leaves bigoted firms competing for second place.

Politically prejudiced hiring also harms businesses in another way. One source summarized the late economist Gary S. Becker’s groundbreaking work on the economics of discrimination this way:

Suppose that an employer does not want to employ members of a particular group even though these workers are as productive as any others. If the firm has to pay all workers the same wage it will simply not employ members of the disadvantaged group. However, if it is possible to pay these workers less than those from other groups the firm then faces a trade-off: it can employ members of the disadvantaged group at lower wages and thus increase its profitability, or it can discriminate and employ only workers from the high wage group even though this will mean lower profits. Discrimination in the latter case therefore imposes a cost on the firm.

Finally, if the neo-McCarthyites really believe that President Trump and his supporters are revolutionaries, the last thing they should want is for this group to find itself unemployable, aggrieved, and awash in free time. If they honestly think that job losses make people “cling to guns or religion, or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them,” it would behoove them to see their political enemies busy themselves punching time clocks, creating goods and services, and entangling themselves in the joys of family life. One can only speculate how better employment prospects might have thwarted previous revolutions. What if Adolf Hitler had been a better artist? What if Fidel Castro had been a better baseball player?

For economic as well as philosophical and moral reasons, we should oppose viewpoint discrimination in secular education and employment. As I wrote at American Greatness:

We must stand up for Jarrad Berkihiser. We must demand our right to offend and be offended. We must insist on being judged on the content of our character, not the color of our skin.

Among those rights is the right to be judged on our performance, not our political orthodoxy.

Communism, the Stealth Invader

First Communists/Democrats/Globalists (aka Globalists) came for the Constitution… they call it a living breathing document subject to constant change. The want it replaced with their UN Declaration of Human Rights which claims the Government and UN grants your rights. Whatever man grants, man can take away.

Then the Globalists got patriots to sign way their liberty for security. Today Americans have neither liberty or security. – Patriot Act.

Then the Globalists got Congress to sell out the American citizens without due process in the name of fighting terror while refusing to name the real terrorists – NDAA

Then the Globalists turned the children on their parents – Reporting is done in school through a series of probing questions on the computer using specific algorithms on the national data base designed for children to report on their parents. Common Core remote learning is designed o keep the people ignorant. Approximately half of Americans are functionally literate.

Then the Globalists came for the Judeo-Christians by demanding they participate in killing their unborn in Obamacare.  Oppressive power hungry Globalists are closing churches due to CCPVirus.

The Globalists target our kids to sexualize them in K-12.  By using familiar items Trafficking, Sex Slavery, Drugs, alcohol abuse, suicide become the norm. Stop Globalists from sexualizing public school classrooms. Stop federal curricula to kids. Close the Federal Department of Education. Education is a states issue.  See Oreo Cookie targets Children for LGBT Recruiting – read here

Now Globalists are coming after “We The People/Americans” by promoting a fraudulent election.

The Green New Deal (GND) is a copy of Agenda 21/2030 following the UN programs of sustainability (do more for less). It is the goal for the UN take over of the sovereignty of America, causing a loss of American freedom and liberty and elimination of private property. Elimination of the 2nd Amendment is on the menu. UN Agenda 21 is the plan using the environment to control human activity.

Another goal of UN Agenda 21 is to depopulate the planet by claiming there are too many humans. Progressives use phony science of man made global warming designed to control human activity not save the planet. If people are guided into believing in warmth, they will not prepare for extreme cold. Crops will freeze, less food will create food shortages which will kill people. Food, corn is used for fuel causing food prices to escalate. Was CCPvirus designed to kill off the older population (less useless eaters.) Goal accomplished.

Globalists want your land for the good of the collective and use unproven, overly expensive central planning (never presented with financial information) for sustainable developments designed to redistribute your wealth and steal your private property through rezoning schemes and conservation easements. With the rise of Nationalism, we learned through this last election Globalists are in the minority. They are comprised of ignorant Americans, mostly young adults and politically ignorant adults assisted by a compliant media carrying the communism message cloaked in warm fuzzy words. Globalists are determined to secure the prize, America, (with all of its natural riches) and transform America into a communist police state.

Globalists are atheists and many believe in GAIA, “mother earth is god” They have waged war against all religious groups. They are determined to remove all mention of GOD (you know, the “THING”) from every place possible because God must be replaced by your allegiance to the STATE and the UN. They fail to realize that God and morality are part of the soul of America and can not be removed by eliminating mere words.

Globalists are Republicans or Democrats who are cloaked in their new definition of Globalism. Students are taught to repel America and replace America with Globalism. Americans, now are describes as the enemy, will you be silenced by fear. You will be cancelled.  Americans   are finally realizing the only way Globalists have power is if Americans give it to them.

We are many, they are few. This election proves that. The only way Globalists can win is by cheating. If you are silent you allow them to control you.

Is America worth saving? What can you do:

Contact your legislator and demand they follow the law.  What good are laws if they are not applied equally?

Did your state legislature ever pass a Statute (Law) addressing Communism?  Florida did.  Did you know Communism is against the law in Florida?  Read FL Statute 876.01.  Are there communists in the Florida legislature?  In our schools?  Social Justice, Wealth Redistributions, BLM and 1619 project are communist programs.  Are they in your community?  Now is the time to expose these communist globalist programs.

Go to your school board meetings and find Americans to run for the position in 2022. Start now to get name recognition.

If you can donate to the GA Senate race and Donate to the Trump legal team.

If you can go to Georgia and rally for the truth.

Stop using their stuff. Stop giving money to people who want you dead.

The hardest thing for us (Americans) to understand is that YES, they want you eliminated. I can’t remember the last MS movie I saw.

Remember:

  • Everything is connected – always the same globalists elite
  • Nothing is random – All MSM carries the same message
  • There are no coincidences – 5 states shut voting down at same time
  • Everything has a plan – Cheat to win the election at all costs
  • ALL PLANS ARE BASED ON LIES.

The only thing a Globalist understands is Money, Power, Control.  We have the power to take that away one American at a time. I no longer will use FB, Twitter etc.

I am now on parlor.com@kbschoen

Ask Globalists questions. Do not accept anything they say as true.  Make them prove it. If you are called a racist, ask them for an example. Isn’t it interesting that the same people who demand “Choice” for a woman to kill their unborn baby, are the same people refusing to give adults a “Choice” in handling CCPVirus.

“I dare hope that all the peoples who have lived through communism will understand that communism is to blame for the bitter pages of their history.” – Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn–Source: www.independent.co.uk

Communism never died. It just went into stealth mode and slid underground. Then like hot lava, it began its spread devouring and destroying everything in its path.

If everything is a lie in the Globalist world, does the truth matter?

I will not comply, will you?

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Megyn Kelly Broke Free Of Corporate Media. Now She’s Giving Them Hell

Journalist Megyn Kelly, well-known for her years anchoring news shows across multiple networks, is now free from corporate media – and she’s letting everyone know exactly how she feels about it.

After a tumultuous departure from NBC News in 2018, Kelly laid low, telling the Daily Caller media reporter Shelby Talcott during an exclusive interview that she did take some time to lick her wounds. But, she soon bounced back, launching her own media company “Devil May Care Media” in Sept. 2020, which is home to her unfiltered podcast – and Kelly is giving her old stomping grounds hell amid it all, declaring that “legacy media is dying a very slow death.” (You can listen to her podcast ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’ here on Apple Podcasts.)

“These are all money-making engines. They’re not there as a public service,” Kelly said of cable news, adding that Americans should absolutely “not trust the media.”

“They’re not honest brokers,” she explained. “The media gets paid to get eyeballs, right? To get you viewing them. And the way you do that is to stoke outrage. That’s why whenever you turn off the television from cable news, you feel pissed off. You may not even know they’re doing it to you, but that’s what they’re doing to you. It’s one of the reasons I wound up leaving.”

WATCH:

The former Fox News anchor even brought up her old network, noting that while they do “allow dissenting viewpoints,” they’re “doing the same thing on the other side.” She slammed the majority of the media as being “genuinely, ideologically hard left,” suggesting they act more like activists than people reporting the news.

Despite the gloom and doom of cable news, Kelly spoke of a bright spot in the journalism world – the rise of independent reporters taking to platforms like YouTube and Substack to get their work out. Kelly is one of these journalists, but she’s far from the only one.

In October, Glenn Greenwald rebuked The Intercept, a publication he co-founded, accusing them of censorship. Former New York Times writer and editor Bari Weiss publicly departed from the Gray Lady in July, saying that “intellectual curiosity … has become a liability.”

The list goes on, and Kelly, for one, does not think it’s just a fad.

“There’s no way, when people sort of understand what’s happening in the digital world and how forward-looking it is and how much more meaningful and substantive it is, and how much more honest you can be here, that they would choose that other model [cable news],” Kelly told the Caller, adding that “younger viewers are leaving” traditional media “in droves.”

The veteran journalist has a few reasons why corporate media is bleeding talent. For one, she said, most media companies believe they’re “pursuing something noble” and therefore may be “relieved” to see “somebody like a Glenn Greenwald leave.”

Additionally, according to Kelly, it’s not possible to keep talented journalists under lock and key, forced to abide by corporate rules and cookie-cutter stories that fit neatly into one particular narrative.

“You can’t keep somebody under your thumb whose really talented for very long,” Kelly explained. “Both of those folks – Glenn, Bari, Andrew Sullivan of New York Magazine, even Matt Taibbi, who opened up a Substack column instead of just Rolling Stone – you can’t take talented journalists like that and keep doing this to them,” Kelly said, making a “squashing” motion with her thumb. “And think they’re going to accept it. They’re not.”

Those opting for this new world of journalism, Kelly added, are all hard advocates for freedom of speech. This is something that is stifled at traditional news publications, according to Kelly, who called the world of online journalism a “safer space.”

“We understand what actual controversy is, like when you’re in Iraq and someone’s shooting at you, and we’re not going to stifle her right to speak words that we risked our lives to protect,” Kelly said. “We protected that right on a battlefield. So, I feel like those people get it, and as a result this is a much – forgive the term – safer space than being out there in traditional media, where you really do have to be very careful or you could get fired.”

Kelly also explained to the Caller why cable news has lasted so long, and the answer, she said, lies in the one person the media loves to hate: The model has been “kept alive by one man: Donald Trump,” she said.

“They’d better hope and pray that he’s got some sort of a network or a show or just comes on everybody else’s show, because say what you will about Donald Trump, being boring on television is not one of his problems. And they need him,” Kelly said, adding that she doesn’t “know what they’re gonna do without him.”

“It’s very unlikely Trump will go away,” she continued, meaning that cable news may die a slower death. “They’ll try to feed off of those crumbs for awhile.”

“As long as he stays somewhat active, they’ll have a little bit more of a lifespan. But their ratings are going to go down, I have very little doubt: Without Trump in the office every day, there’s no way, especially CNN and MSNBC, sustain the numbers they are getting.”

Megyn Kelly Goes After The Media For Active Bias

Megyn Kelly Says MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell Told Her In 2015 That Network Was A ‘Sinking Ship’

VIDEO: Resist the Great Reset!

You have likely been hearing a lot about the international globalist/commie/UN plan called the “Great Reset”. Our friend Leo Hohmann told you about how the Chinese virus ‘crisis’ is being used to control us and to put the “Great Reset” in motion here.

I was surprised to see Tucker report on it last night.  (Tucker Carlson is now the only show I watch at Fox News and I am very much enjoying Newsmax’s coverage of election fraud.)

If you missed it, you can watch Tucker’s whole opening monologue below.  BTW, Carlson put rumors to rest that he was leaving Fox.  He said in the same show that he was staying and that somehow Fox was going to expand his type of reporting.  LOL! Finally Fox has competition and daytime viewers are leaving in droves.

Imagine what Trump TV could do!

I have a dream and that is if the President is replaced via a stolen election with the help of gutless Republicans that he will put together a media empire and hire real investigative reporters to expose the deep state (including Republican deep staters), election fraud, the Biden family enrichment scheme and more.

Frankly, as a ‘fire in the belly’ leader of an America First! movement, he would be more powerful outside of government than in it.

Tucker gets around 5 million viewers, give or take a million. Other cable ‘luminaires’ are lucky to reach into the upper 1 million mark.

President Donald Trump would be starting with 73 million viewers!

Update!  Looks like the little creeps at Youtube took it down.  You should be able to see his opening monologue here:

MICHIGAN: Wayne County Republicans Who Changed Votes To Certify Election Results Say That They Were ‘Misled,’ Want To Reverse Votes

The two Republicans on Wayne County’s elections board who changed their votes to certify the county’s results on the condition of an audit now say that they were misled by the Democratic vice chair, who originally promised that one would occur but now says that their compromise was non-binding.

In separate affidavits signed Wednesday night, Monica Palmer and William Hartmann claimed that they were pressured to flip and vote to certify Wayne County’s election, and accused Democrats of going back on a promise to audit the vote count in Detroit.

“I rescind my vote,” Palmer wrote in the affidavit. “I fully believe the Wayne County vote should not be certified.”

Hartmann signed a similar affidavit, according to The Washington Post.

Though Palmer and Hartmann originally voted against certifying the results for all of Wayne County, the most populous county in Michigan, their initial qualms had to do with election disparities in Detroit. The two said that the official list of who voted did not match the number of ballots counted, but agreed to certify the results after Jim Kinloch, the board’s vice chair, said Detroit’s results would be audited.

The two then changed course, voting to certify the results hours later.

Now, Palmer says that she was “misled,” since she thought there was an official commitment to an audit that is unlikely to happen.

“I stand firm in not certifying Wayne County without the audit,” she added.

Kinloch, however, said that the two GOP members “knew it wasn’t binding,” according to the Post, and said that while he supported an audit, he could not get in touch with the office of Michigan’s secretary of state to formally ask for one.

Despite their reversals, it is too late for them to actually change their votes, according to Kinloch, who said that the county’s results had already been certified and sent to the secretary of state. Kinloch, a Democrat, also lashed out at the two over their reversal.

“Do they understand how they are making us look as a body?” he told the Post. “We have such an amazing and important role in the democratic process, and they’re turning it on its head.”

After Palmer and Hartmann voted against certifying the county’s results Tuesday evening, they faced an onslaught of criticism from opponents who described their decisions as racist, noting that they certified results from other cities with larger discrepancies. Detroit, Michigan’s largest city, is nearly 80% African-American, according to the Census Bureau.

Palmer said that she never expected her original vote to change the final results in Wayne County or Michigan, where President-elect Joe Biden beat President Donald Trump by over 150,000 votes.

“We always knew that the margin of victory was such that it was not going to change the result,” she told the Post Wednesday.

Palmer also described Tuesday night as “heartbreaking,” telling the Post that she never intended to disenfranchise any voters, and that she had faced death threats against her and her family as a result.

Republican Chairwoman and Michigan native Ronna McDaniel called criticisms of the two “mob rule,” and Trump himself defended the two on Twitter as well.

Dominion Voting paid Georgia Secretary of State $106M

Eye Opener published the following report titled Dominion Voting paid Georgia Secretary of State $106M; Supreme Court to decide Pennsylvania Election on YouTube:

Lin Wood warns that these people want to take away your rights, repeal your Constitution. “Don’t let them get away with it! And don’t let President Trump go at it alone!” He also forewarned of the eventual incarceration of Biden.

He also said that the current election fraud was a well-planned effort 20 years in the making. The mainstream media is using its usual tactic of lying to Americans. While President Trump was close to a landslide victory, the media told the opposite story, and declared Biden’s fraudulent victory as truth.

The Oath Keepers, the nation’s largest militia group, which includes tens of thousands of Americans who have been in the military or law enforcement, is an armed conservative group that also participated in the DC pro-Trump march last Saturday.

They told the media on November 14 that they would not recognize the election and that about half of the people in the United States would not recognize Biden as a legitimate president. This means that everything Biden says will be seen as having no validity or effect, and with any laws that are signed, they will not be recognized as legal, they will see it as unconstitutional, and will resist them.

Ilhan Omar Quotes ‘Mathew 6:24’ to Claim Christians Can’t Serve in U.S. military

Omar was coming to the support of the radical Leftist Georgia Senate candidate Raphael Warnock, who says explicitly that one cannot serve God and the military in the video embedded in the tweet. While there was a controversy in the early days of Christianity about whether a Christian could serve in the military of the Roman Empire, it was settled centuries ago, and no Christian sect with the exception of the small groups that are strictly pacifist has ever said that it was un-Christian to serve in the U.S. military.

This is yet another indication of where Ilhan Omar’s sentiments truly lie, for were her words heeded and Christians streamed out of the military of this country, our armed forces and the country as a whole would be drastically weakened. Apparently that is what she wants.

Harvard Researchers: Young Adults Showing Signs of Depression in Pandemic

Mounting evidence shows that pandemic-related lockdowns and restrictions have inflicted much more harm on younger people than the coronavirus itself. A new report reveals that nearly half of 18 to 24 year-olds are “showing at least moderate depressive symptoms,” and for many the depression is severe.

Researchers at Harvard, Northeastern, Rutgers, and Northwestern universities conducted eight large survey rounds across all US states from April through October, finding that young adults are increasingly having suicidal thoughts. In the US adult population as a whole, the incidence of suicidal ideation typically hovers around 3.4 percent. But this new study reveals that in October, 36.9 percent of young adults had suicidal thoughts, compared to 32.2 percent in May in the wake of the first round of government lockdowns.

These new figures reinforce similarly dismal data released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in August. The CDC found that one-quarter of young people ages 18-24 contemplated suicide in the previous month, in large part due to the pandemic and lockdowns.

‘In effect, what we’ve been doing is requiring young people to bear the burden of controlling a disease from which they face little to no risk,’ said Dr. Jay Bhattacharya.

According to the new study, lockdowns and other pandemic policies have drastically upended the lives of most young adults. Only 20 percent of study participants said that they experienced little change since the pandemic began. Instead, just over half of the participants said that their school or university had closed, while 41 percent had to adapt to working from home, 28 percent experienced a pay cut, and 26 percent were laid off.

“The next [presidential] administration will lead a country where unprecedented numbers of younger individuals are experiencing depression, anxiety, and, for some, thoughts of suicide,” the report’s authors conclude. “These symptoms are not concentrated among any particular subgroup or region in our survey; they are elevated in every group we examined.”

Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a professor of medicine at Stanford University and one of the authors of the Great Barrington Declaration advocating against lockdowns, explains that the negative impact of government lockdowns on young people’s health and well-being is much more severe than the impact of the virus on this cohort.

In a debate last week with pro-lockdown Harvard epidemiologist, Marc Lipsitch, Dr. Bhattacharya acknowledged that COVID-19 “is an absolutely deadly disease for people who are older and for people who have certain chronic conditions.” He explained that there is a 95 percent COVID-19 survival rate for people 70 and older, while for people who are under 70, there is currently a 99.95 percent survival rate.

“For children,” said Dr. Bhattacharya in the debate, “the flu is worse. We’ve had more flu deaths of children this year than Covid deaths.”

Given the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on older people and those with certain chronic conditions, Dr. Bhattacharya and his Great Barrington Declaration co-authors argue for a “Focused Protection” approach that would shield the most vulnerable in society while allowing younger, healthy people to go about their lives and help to build population immunity.

“Lockdowns have absolutely catastrophic effects on physical and mental health of populations both domestically and internationally,” Dr. Bhattacharya said during the debate. “For people who are under 60 or 50 the lockdown harms—again mentally and physically—are worse than COVID.”

With more US states and countries now imposing new lockdowns in response to rising COVID-19 cases, the mental health of young people is likely to further deteriorate. Already disconnected from many of their peers with work, school, and college shutdowns, these young people must now contend with new 10:00 pm curfews and 10-person gathering limits in some areas, closed restaurants and bars, travel restrictions, and socially distanced holidays.

Relying on government lockdowns to save some lives while ignoring the ways in which these lockdowns do harm to other lives is unhelpful and damaging.

Meanwhile, college students are being shamed by administrators for celebrating their football team’s win or snitched on by peers for socializing. It’s not surprising that young adults are feeling increasingly anxious and depressed.

As Dr. Bhattacharya said in remarks last month: “In effect, what we’ve been doing is requiring young people to bear the burden of controlling a disease from which they face little to no risk. This is entirely backward from the right approach.”

Many of those advocating an end to lockdowns recognize their unintended consequences and the harm they cause to individuals and groups that may match or exceed the harm caused by the virus itself. Declining mental health due to lockdowns, isolation, and economic displacement is one unintended consequence of these policies, but there are others as well.

For example, the World Bank reported in October that 150 million people are expected to be thrust into extreme poverty by 2021 as a result of the pandemic response, which would be the first rise in global poverty in more than 20 years.

There are no easy answers to managing a pandemic, just manifold subtle answers that only free societies, and not top-down planners, can discover. Relying on government lockdowns to save some lives while ignoring the ways in which these lockdowns do harm to other lives is unhelpful and damaging.

As professors Antony Davies and James Harrigan write:

“The uncomfortable truth is that no policy can save lives; it can only trade lives. Good policies result in a net positive tradeoff. But we have no idea whether the tradeoff is a net positive until we take a sober look at the cost of saving lives. And we can’t do that until we stop with the ‘if it saves just one life’ nonsense.”

As the pandemic continues, the severe costs of lockdowns on young adults and others are becoming distressingly clear.

Religious Freedom at Risk

400 years ago this month, a weary band of Christians from England came ashore in New England after a grueling 66-day voyage aboard the Mayflower.

The Pilgrims came for one purpose, which they spelled out in writing: “for the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith.”

It was all about religious freedom. They wanted to worship Jesus in the purity of the Gospel.

150 years after the Pilgrims came, the founders of this nation enshrined religious freedom in our national charter, the Constitution.

When the Constitution was first written, there were some hesitations toward ratifying it. Many of those who accepted it did so upon the assurance that religious freedom would be guaranteed. Thus, the founders amended the Constitution with the Bill of Rights, the document’s first ten amendments.

First and foremost among these was religious freedom. The first two freedoms enshrined in the First Amendment deal with religious liberty. In effect, these liberties were understood to mean there would be no national denomination, and people were free to practice their faith as they saw fit. Implied in that is that the non-believer would be free to practice his lack of faith.

Jump forward to today, 400 years after the Pilgrims arrived, and in the land for which they sought refuge, religious freedom is at risk. With tongue and cheek, one wag asked, “Can we uninstall 2020 and install it again? This version has a virus.”

That virus, Covid-19, has been the excuse many anti-Christians bigots have used to try to hamstring churches. We have seen in the last several months an unprecedented assault on religious freedom.

Just consider a few examples:

  • Last week a judge in California ruled that strip clubs should be allowed to re-open, despite the pandemic, because the First Amendment is not nullified by a virus. And yet at the very same time, officials in California insist churches must be closed or severely limited because of the pandemic.
  • The Supreme Court ruled in the Calvary Chapel v. Sisolak case (July 24, 2020) out of Nevada that it was okay for the state to limit how many people could attend worship services, but the casinos were allowed to operate more freely. In his dissent on this case, Justice Neil Gorsuch declared, “…there is no world in which the Constitution permits Nevada to favor Caesars Palace over Calvary Chapel.”
  • Abortion clinics have been deemed “essential services” by a number of liberal governors, while churches are categorized as “non-essential.”

Rev. John MacArthur is one of the most listened-to and respected Bible teachers in our time. His church is in the greater Los Angeles area. He is generally not one to speak out on political matters. But after months of the pandemic and the way many state officials impair churches because of it, MacArthur decided that enough is enough. He reopened his church—despite threats from state and local officials.

Jenna Ellis, MacArthur’s attorney from the Thomas More Society, said “Our position has been that L. A. County shutting down churches indefinitely amid a virus with a 99.98% survival rate, especially when state-preferred businesses are open and protests are held without restriction, is unconstitutional and harmful to the free exercise of religion.”

Kelly Shackelford of First Liberty, which also fights for religious freedom, told D. James Kennedy Ministries: “All people have to do is look at the ‘experts’ saying, ‘Well, you can’t sing at church, but oh yeah, the [BLM and Antifa] protests, we’re okay with that because that’s important.”

It would appear that Christophobic bigots are using the pandemic to curb religious freedom in a country that was born for religious freedom.

Author and speaker Bill Federer once told me in a TV interview: “Tolerance was an American Christian contribution to the world. Just as you drop a pebble in the pond, the ripples go out, there was tolerance first for Puritans and then Protestants, then Catholics, then liberal Christians, and then it went out completely to Jews. Then in the early 1900s, tolerance went out to anybody of any faith, monotheist or polytheist. Finally, within the last generation, tolerance went out to the atheist, the secular humanist and the anti-religious. And the last ones in the boat decided it was too crowded and decided to push the first ones out. So now we have a unique situation in America, where everybody’s tolerated except the ones that came up with the idea. And so when people say Christians are intolerant, we really need to correct them and say, ‘No, we’re the ones that came up with the idea of tolerance.’”

The Pilgrims sacrificed everything they had to practice religious freedom. It would be horrible to see the gift they bequeathed to the world uprooted in our time by secular fundamentalists.
